One of the things that we can benefit from mmm and no, we even know what we, you know, at one point in his life, he lived
some distance away from the place where he grew up kind of like his parents. His parents had like a farm, essentially. And he went to I forget whether it was study or to teach in some other place. And even know what we were so careful about what he consumed.
That he would not eat any of the food where he was living. He had his father send him stuff from their family farm would only eat the stuff that his father sent for him.
Today, you and I, we go to Walmart. We buy something, you know,
plastic made in China. We don't know. That thing that we bought? Was it made with child labor? Was it made in a sweatshop was it made? Taking advantage of somebody? Did it help destroy the environment? Did it contribute to plastics in the ocean and in the waters? And, you know, endocrine disruptors and all these sorts of horrible things? How much carbon did it take? How much? How many degrees? Did it warm up the earth to produce that sort of thing? We don't think twice about it. We don't think twice about it. We just buy it. It's just there. It's a commodity. It's become an object. It's dead. On the shelf.
You remember no, we had a different relationship to his what he was going to consume. He wanted to know that where it came from was pure that it was pure that that he had this relationship to it.
And I think that's something that we need in our times. Now more than ever
