So that was opinion number two, that Allah subhanaw taala is swearing by the light and by the dark. And then the third and last opinion that we'll share is that Allah subhanaw taala is swearing by this dunya and swearing by the Akira. So this dunya is it represented by the light? Allah subhanaw taala got rid of that doubt with this very verse, that the trials that are coming your way are not because Allah subhanaw taala hates you or they test you but it is to make you stronger. It is to make your relationship with Allah subhanho wa Taala even firmer, that is what those trials and tribulations come from Allah subhanho wa Taala for and that is one of the significant you know, turning points in the life of the Messenger of Allah.

A second thing over here is that look at the way Allah subhanaw taala addresses the emotions of an individual, there as a human being, almost all of our actions revolve around love. And there it is either about giving love, or is about receiving love, all of your actions. And then here when Allah subhanaw taala tells the Messenger of Allah says that you have the

So you can imagine that great gift that imagine in this life, Allah subhanaw taala told you, that whatever happens, Allah Subhana Allah will always love you, like what greater gift could you want than that? And the Messenger of Allah says Allah was given that gift in this verse, Then Allah subhanaw taala goes on to swear by the second thing, which

is one of our hero to her Allah communal Allah, meaning that which is to come is better than that which you have right now. And the scholar is different over here, that what is Allah subhanaw taala referring to in this verse, is Allah subhanho wa Taala referring to the afterlife? Or is Allah subhanaw taala referring to the life of this world in terms of what is to come, and in reality, these opinions can both be reconciled. So let us look at from the worldly perspective, the life in Mecca was very, very difficult, and very, very tough, was when life came to Medina, it became a lot easier. And it was a lot more, I won't say enjoyable, but at least they were not under direct attack

There is no harm in saying that it is referring in terms of this dunya as well, meaning that the life of Medina was much easier than the life of Mecca. This is the strong opinion that in reality, it is referring to the afterlife, that meaning the afterlife is better than the life of this world. And you will find so many verses and so many a hadith referring to this. So when Allah subhanho wa Taala refers to the life of this world, what does he

That's something that you want to focus on that when you're thinking about your goals, you know that at the beginning of every year, they tell, you know, what is your New Year's resolution, when you're thinking of your New Year's resolution, when you're thinking of your goals for the year, how many of those goals are related to this dunya and how many

That's what this verse is indirectly reminding us of that Allah subhanho wa Taala is taking an oath, that the life of the Hereafter is better than the life of this world. So if you're intelligent, your primary focus of goals will be focused upon the Hereafter, and then you will only take from this dunya what you need from it, because one, it's not as good as the life of the hereafter and to your time in this life is very, very short compared to the life of the hereafter.

And in all the wives of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, they chose to stay with the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and our beloved Masuda the Allahu anhu. So when a rhetorical question is asked, the rhetorical question is not to increase the person in knowledge, as the normal question will do. But rhetorical question is asked to remind a person of something, a cortical question is asked to remind a person of something. So now when Allah subhanaw taala is asking the following three questions. That is what you want to keep
