Ramadan Went so Fast! Is It a Sign of the Day of Qiyamah?

Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. We are in the last few days of this beautiful month of Ramadan, the last sprint, if you will, and this Ramadan, this Ramadan went so fast that the question arises is this a sign from the signs of the day of Yama. My dear brothers and sisters in Islam We begin by praising Allah subhanho wa Taala we asked him the almighty to send his choices of blessings and salutations upon our beloved prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa alayhi wa sallam his family members, his companions and all those who tread upon his birth with utmost sincerity until the day of Ghana. We have a hadith that has been recorded in the book of Imam Al Bukhari Rahim Allah and

authentic hadith the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is reported to have said that, the final hour will not begin until knowledge is taken away, earthquakes increase Time passes quickly, tribulations begin to appear fit and and until there is a lot of hemorrhage. In other words, killing, killing and killing will take place and until there will be abundance a lot of wealth amongst you and it will become extremely abundant. The narration goes along the lines of these words now when talking about the science of the day of grammar before we you know, touch on this hadith and before we talk about the sign known as the Koran is a man in the Arabic language.

You know, with regards to time passing quickly, you have to understand that in regards to the signs of the dear family you have a SRA to satis so VA and SRA to sattell Cobra, the minor signs of the day of karma and the major signs of the day of gamma. Now with regards to when this hour is going to be established, it is in the knowledge of Allah subhanho wa Taala as he says in the normal Quran in Allah in the hotel masa. So it is in the knowledge of Eliza. But now these signs, these signs the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam through the ahaadeeth he has gone on to educate us. Now with regards to the minus signs you have a lot of them a lot of them.

You have a lot of minus signs and the end conclusion that we can draw with the minus signs is that most of these minus signs have already taken place and you have a few more to take place. And then the major science will commence. As for the major science, they are 10 in number and we will address them in another video in sha Allah. Now coming back to this hadith that the Hadith talks about some minus signs that take the hadith of gibreel for example, the famous hadith of gibreel. In that particular Hadith, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam touches on minus science. Similarly, in this in this Hadith, the prophet mentions that the hour will not begin until knowledge is taken away

until earthquakes increase, Time passes quickly tribulations appear and until there is a lot of knowledge in other words, killing, killing, excessive killing, and until there will be a lot of wealth amongst you so much to the extent that it will become abundant. So six signs the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa alayhi wa sallam

he mentioned in this particular Hadith. Now in the Muslim of Imam Ahmed Rahim Allah we have another narration where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam expounds further on takato busy man on the sign where time will pass away quickly he says the hour will not begin until time passes quickly so much text to the extent that a year will be like a month and a month will be like a week and a week will be like a day and a day will be like an hour and an hour will be like the burning of a braid of palm leaves.

In other words, a few minutes if you read Subhan Allah so time will begin to pass quickly.

Now this particular sign has been interpreted a few ways. And inshallah I'm going to run through the interpretations. One interpretation is that you go with a metaphorical understanding of time passing quickly, so it's not a literal understanding of the fact that time would shorten it wouldn't literally shorten. But you can metaphorically understand this staccato boozer man, where time will pass away quickly. In the sense the Baraka, the blessing of the time will be stripped away. So in terms of understanding this metaphorical interpretation, scholars like uma nawabi Rahim, Allah and others have gone on to say that what is meant by the Baraka being stripped away from time is that

the benefit, the Fae, that the benefit that the person gets from one day will be the equivalent of the benefit that the people of the past would get in a single hour. So in other words, what they could achieve in an hour, we would I mean, an entire day would go

With us trying to achieve the same things, and that's pretty evident because if you look at for example, you know,

the scholars of the past, you know, famous scholars of the past of how like you, Mama, Bihari Mama nawabi, and all of these other scholars, they went on to, you know, I mean, when you read their, their stories and their biographies, you see that they, they have compiled a lot of books, okay? a truckload of books, along with their own personal, everybody they would read, they would read the Quran excessively, they would offer, you know, optional prayers, they would do all of that. And they went on to also leave behind a legacy of profound books

using and, and yet also take this into consideration, they had to travel far and wide to obtain the knowledge. And they did not have I mean, modern day tools, in terms of writing and all of that stuff, it would be very crude, if you will, if you will, maybe it's a quill where you had to dip it into the ink pot and then write, they didn't have modern day lighting, facilities and whatnot. And if you compare it to the landscape that we are upon right now, and the amount of information that we have access to at our fingertips, fingertips, you don't even have to leave your home. SubhanAllah in terms of doing research, in today's context, you don't even have to head to a library you have all

you have so much of access, you know, at your fingertips. And on top of that, you have all kinds of word processors to, to to write, you know, I mean, with auto correction, and it will check your spelling, it will do all of the formatting, it will save it for you. You wouldn't I mean, if you were to make a mistake, and copy paste, you have all of these things that make life so much more easier. Yet, my dear brother, my dear sister, due to the fact that Baraka has been stripped away from our time, due to the fact that we're very close to the day of karma, we see that we are, you know, we find it very, very difficult to achieve, you know, even even a fraction of what the giants

of the past were able to achieve. Reason being there was a lot of Baraka in their time. So one way of understanding this sign, my dear brothers and sisters in Islam is that you go with the metaphorical interpretation of the words of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, where the Baraka, I mean, the time would remain the same, you have 60 minutes, that would make an hour and 24 hours a day, seven days of the week, and X amount of days that make a month and so on, so forth. Okay, I mean, the days have been shortened, you haven't been, you know, the hours have not been removed, but not, but the Baraka has been stripped away to the extent that you're not able to

achieve much and and time just speeds past your Subhan Allah. So, this is one understanding, the other understanding is that you go with the literal meaning, and that you understand this, that days will become shorter in a real sense. So, you will actually start losing losing hours and days, and this has not happened yet. But again, we understand that this is not something impossible as well, because even when talking about

the time when the job will be unleashed, you see that the days of the jar will become longer as per the teachings of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So that a day will be like a year or a month or a week in length. So just as these days can become longer, they can also become shorter. So this is the other understanding where you go with that literal interpretation of the words of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa alayhi wasallam. So either way, you see the day is going to be this removal of a blessing, or and also there are scholars would go on to interpret

the statement of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam in such a way that they would take into consideration the advancements made in today's landscape. Now you see, in the past, if one were to travel from one point to another, it would take a long time. But in today's context, you can actually I mean, obviously, with COVID, and all of that you really can't travel anywhere, and you should, you should, you know take care of yourself and stay at home as much as possible. But in under normal circumstances, you would be able to travel from one point to another very swiftly. I mean, with the airplanes that we have and the modern day vehicles that we have access to. So this is

another understanding of the cannibalism and but like I said, despite having all of these tools in place, you know, where you can actually travel from one point to another from one country to another very swiftly and very fast, we still find it extremely difficult to achieve even a fraction of what the previous generations have achieved. So to come

clewd this Ramadan went extremely fast and before you know it the next Ramadan if Allah Subhana Allah blesses us with long life we pray unto Allah azza wa jal to bless us all with long healthy and productive lives to attain many more Ramadan in the future Allahumma Ada Elena Ramadan, our main idea we make dua, I mean,

you will see that because of the fact that time is slipping away so fast before you know it, the next Ramadan is going to hit you in your in your face. So it's incumbent, it's imperative that we become aware of this aware of the fact that time is the time is passing extremely fast. And that we make the most out of the time that we have with us. It's almost like you know, the fast forward button has been pressed, or you know, it's almost like you're watching a video or something 2x 3x 4x you know, it's just zipping past you. So you don't have time to think you don't have time at all to waste money brothers and sisters make the most out of every single second that you have given that

Baraka has been stripped away from the time as well. We need to work harder, we need to be even more productive in terms of doing more good deeds. So the last few days that you have of this month, don't don't while the time away, don't procrastinate. Don't waste the time that you have at your disposal. make the most out of this. These this last print these last few days and try to do as many many good deeds as possible in sha Allah.
