Posting Qur’an and Hadith on Social Media

Salam aleikum. Someone asked Is it okay to share the verses of the Quran, or the Hadith of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam, on platforms on social media that have a lot of filth, and a lot of things that might be unacceptable from an Islamic perspective? Well, the answer is, yes, indeed, you must share good words, and you must use whatever platform you have to spread the good. Look, people might say, Well, you know, intentionally or unintentionally, you might be causing people to look at harm. Those who are on those platforms, they already are there. And they are navigating through these platforms in a way that would earn the pleasure of Allah, I'm sure if they saw

something unacceptable, from an Islamic perspective, such as nudity, etc. They would immediately you know, perhaps deleted, look away, change the page and so on. But remember one thing my brothers and sisters, the prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had an amazing quality. When he was spreading the message of Islam, what he did was something unique and clear. He went to the Kava, and he looked down and continued saying, uh, yohannes kulula, la la la to flee who, or people say La, La La La, you will succeed, or people say La, La La La, you will succeed. And they were people who were making power for circumambulating, the Kaaba, nude naked, he didn't worry about, you know, the

conditions he was looking down and giving the message from among them, there were those who changed and turned. So so panela his concern to get the message across using this means and at this particular place, teaches us that sometimes you might have to spread the message of goodness, in a place where many other things might not be that good. Imagine you standing at the door of a pub telling people a good message, you didn't drink, you didn't participate. You didn't encourage others to drink but the people who were there were listening to what you had to say. Some of them may take heed and even if they didn't, you fulfilled your beautiful duty. So don't stop because if you were

to stop using these platforms, perhaps shame on doesn't want the message to be heard by those who perhaps need it most. So if you were to stop I'd say it's a loss. Continue to use this these beautiful platforms for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala and inshallah you don't participate in that would you consider unacceptable, but if others do that inshallah, they will come they will come a day when they will hear your beautiful message and benefit from it. Perhaps Allah my Grant hidayah through your effort to a lot of others, and in that way, you will earn a full reward for every goodness that they do.
