Kamil Ahmad – Prophetic Parables – Parable #8 – Pursuing Doubtful Matters

Kamil Ahmad
AI: Summary ©
The transcript describes multiple parables and scenarios related to the concept of limits and boundaries in Islam. The three types of Hadeeth have negative consequences, including negative health and well-being, and can lead to negative behavior. People of different demographics may face negative consequences from their actions, and the importance of staying within the realm of what is clearly "has been" is emphasized. Consciously consulting people of the same opinion and avoiding negative rulings is emphasized, as it is not commonly understood. smoking tobacco and drinking alcohol lead to lung cancer, and avoiding "haste" and staying within "has been" is emphasized.

00:00:51 --> 00:00:55

Today we have another two parables from the sun

00:00:57 --> 00:01:00

from the parables of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:01:03 --> 00:01:07

The first of these is a very famous Hadith

00:01:09 --> 00:01:17

and mmm no will we listen in his arbaeen innovia in his 40 Hadith

00:01:19 --> 00:01:20

this hadith

00:01:22 --> 00:01:25

is narrated by a normanni billion Bashir

00:01:27 --> 00:01:43

and its founder Buhari and Muslim. He says Samir to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam yaku l Hallo Luba Yin, well horombo the Yin Well, they you know hoonah mush Debbie had to lie Allah Maha Cathy Romina NASS,

00:02:24 --> 00:02:25

in this hadith

00:02:27 --> 00:02:29

the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:02:31 --> 00:02:32

says

00:02:33 --> 00:02:34

that the halaal

00:02:35 --> 00:02:39

what is permissible is plain and clear and evident

00:02:40 --> 00:02:45

and the Haram is also plain and clear and evident.

00:02:47 --> 00:02:50

But between them between the halal and haram

00:02:51 --> 00:02:55

are things which are doubtful

00:02:56 --> 00:02:58

that most people do not have knowledge of.

00:03:01 --> 00:03:06

He says so, whoever sees himself from these doubtful things,

00:03:07 --> 00:03:12

then he saves his Deen and his dignity.

00:03:13 --> 00:03:15

He saves his religion and

00:03:16 --> 00:03:18

and his honor his dignity.

00:03:19 --> 00:03:22

But whoever indulges in these doubtful matters,

00:03:23 --> 00:03:27

then he is like, and this is where the parable comes.

00:03:29 --> 00:03:33

He says, the one who indulges in this gray area,

00:03:34 --> 00:03:35

then he is like a shepherd.

00:03:37 --> 00:03:41

He is like a shepherd, who pastures his animals

00:03:43 --> 00:03:49

near close to the private pasture of someone else,

00:03:50 --> 00:03:51

like

00:03:52 --> 00:03:58

a king or someone rich, he has land and he has a pasture

00:04:00 --> 00:04:04

and the shepherd comes and he he brings his animals close to it.

00:04:05 --> 00:04:10

The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam says, at any moment he is liable to cross it.

00:04:12 --> 00:04:15

At any moment, he is bound to cross

00:04:17 --> 00:04:20

an end up in the private pasture.

00:04:21 --> 00:04:24

So then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said Beware,

00:04:26 --> 00:04:34

beware for every king has a private pasture. Every King has limits to his land.

00:04:36 --> 00:04:37

Don't trespass

00:04:39 --> 00:04:44

don't cross into it. He says every king has that.

00:04:45 --> 00:04:48

And the limits of a lot the private area of Allah

00:04:49 --> 00:04:52

is what he has declared as being harar.

00:04:54 --> 00:04:59

And then the process of that ends the Hadeeth on a different note. He says beware

00:05:00 --> 00:05:09

In the body, there is a piece of flesh. If it becomes sound and healthy and good, then the whole body becomes sound and healthy and good.

00:05:10 --> 00:05:11

And if

00:05:14 --> 00:05:23

if that piece of flesh becomes corrupt, then the rest of the body will become corrupt. And what he called, it is the heart.

00:05:25 --> 00:05:26

And so this Hadeeth

00:05:27 --> 00:05:34

is one of the ahaadeeth mentioned by Mr. Minelli in his arena where we is the sixth Hadith.

00:05:35 --> 00:05:44

And many of the scholars of Islam consider it to be one of those Hadees that the entire Deen revolves around.

00:05:45 --> 00:05:46

International.

00:05:48 --> 00:05:49

He says,

00:05:50 --> 00:05:56

the foundations of Islam or Sunni Islam, they rest upon three adults.

00:05:58 --> 00:06:00

The hadith of Omar of Johann

00:06:01 --> 00:06:05

in nimal Anna lineart deeds or by intentions

00:06:06 --> 00:06:12

and the hadith of Arusha, the nationalist Sufi Marina, Heather Malley, someone who for whom

00:06:14 --> 00:06:16

whoever introduces into

00:06:17 --> 00:06:33

Islam, what is not from it, then he will have it rejected and the third hiraeth is this Hadith, the Hadees have normally been Bashir in Valhalla, the Yin or inall harana been the halaal is clear and the harm is clear. And even a Buddha would

00:06:35 --> 00:06:37

the compiler of sunon abida would

00:06:38 --> 00:06:51

and he was a student of email. He says, I have looked into all the Hadith, the authentic hadith, and found that they are around 4000.

00:06:52 --> 00:07:00

Then I observed the second time, and I found that the 4000 ahaadeeth. All revolve around four

00:07:02 --> 00:07:20

and they are the hadith of he says the first IDP says the hadith of normality of the machine in Valhalla begin in El harana. The year the halaal is clear the Koran is clear. And the second is a hadith of aroma, de jure by intentions. The third is a hadith of Abu hurayrah

00:07:21 --> 00:07:41

in Novato, Qibla Yakubu Illa Allah is good and only accepts that which is good. And the fourth is the heavy in Hosni Islam and murky Turku melayani, from the perfection of a person's Islam is to leave what is not concerning. And all of these Hadeeth are in on the internet where we

00:07:43 --> 00:07:49

so the point is that this Hadeeth is huge in its meaning.

00:07:50 --> 00:07:57

From this one Hadeeth. The scholars have mentioned many, many rulings in Islam.

00:07:59 --> 00:08:00

And so in this Hadith,

00:08:01 --> 00:08:09

the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam explained how all of the rulings of Islam with respect to our knowledge

00:08:11 --> 00:08:13

can be divided into three.

00:08:15 --> 00:08:21

All the rulings of Islam can be divided into three categories. The first

00:08:22 --> 00:08:24

is what is clearly header.

00:08:25 --> 00:08:29

And it is known to everyone as this is Helen, this is permissible.

00:08:30 --> 00:08:31

Everyone knows.

00:08:33 --> 00:08:36

Like halal food, what is halal to eat?

00:08:38 --> 00:08:38

Drink

00:08:40 --> 00:08:41

clothing,

00:08:43 --> 00:08:44

day to day activities.

00:08:46 --> 00:08:48

That which is halaal. And clearly,

00:08:49 --> 00:08:50

everyone knows that this is hella

00:08:54 --> 00:08:55

and there's also no dispute about it.

00:08:57 --> 00:09:05

Among the scholars, it's not something that you know, there's a difference of opinion about it's clearly and evidently

00:09:06 --> 00:09:07

The second

00:09:09 --> 00:09:12

is that which is clearly and evidently

00:09:13 --> 00:09:15

and everyone knows it to be her.

00:09:17 --> 00:09:19

No one will dispute no one can dispute

00:09:22 --> 00:09:24

and so her on food,

00:09:25 --> 00:09:27

to eat pork,

00:09:28 --> 00:09:29

alcohol,

00:09:33 --> 00:09:33

Zener.

00:09:35 --> 00:09:36

theft,

00:09:38 --> 00:09:47

and so on and so forth. Clearly how wrong no one can come to you and dispute with you about it. And there's no such thing as a difference of opinion about it.

00:09:49 --> 00:09:50

And then the third

00:09:51 --> 00:09:53

is that which is unclear.

00:09:55 --> 00:09:58

These are the doubtful matters that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam spoke about in this hobby.

00:10:00 --> 00:10:03

That which is not clear. Is it halaal? Or is it hora

00:10:05 --> 00:10:06

either

00:10:07 --> 00:10:09

due to our lack of knowledge

00:10:11 --> 00:10:14

or our lack of understanding.

00:10:17 --> 00:10:19

So either due to our lack of knowledge,

00:10:20 --> 00:10:27

perhaps something is haram. But, you know, it's not one of those clear things that everyone knows.

00:10:28 --> 00:10:31

And you're a layperson you haven't studied.

00:10:32 --> 00:10:34

And so you don't know if this is halal or haram.

00:10:36 --> 00:10:37

Or

00:10:38 --> 00:10:39

even a scholar.

00:10:40 --> 00:10:47

He doesn't know if it's halal or haram, because the evidence is not clear to him.

00:10:48 --> 00:10:56

So perhaps he's come across a hadith that says that something is haram, but he doesn't know he hasn't concluded is this inauthentic. hatzolah

00:10:57 --> 00:11:00

so lack of knowledge or a lack of understanding.

00:11:03 --> 00:11:08

So you've read a certain Hadeeth but you don't know does that Hadeeth apply to this situation,

00:11:09 --> 00:11:11

in terms of this being hollowed out,

00:11:12 --> 00:11:14

and this could happen either to a scholar,

00:11:15 --> 00:11:17

his lack of understanding.

00:11:20 --> 00:11:29

And so then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he explains that people are of two kinds with respect to this third category.

00:11:30 --> 00:11:33

People are of two kinds.

00:11:36 --> 00:11:39

Those who stay away from this third category.

00:11:42 --> 00:11:44

They stay away from these doubtful matters.

00:11:45 --> 00:11:47

And the second are those who

00:11:48 --> 00:11:49

they pursue them.

00:11:50 --> 00:11:51

They indulge in them.

00:11:53 --> 00:11:58

And so as for those who stay away from them the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam What does he tell us?

00:11:59 --> 00:12:01

For God is stubbornly Dini.

00:12:04 --> 00:12:07

Those who stay away from these don't four areas

00:12:08 --> 00:12:09

they have

00:12:10 --> 00:12:14

so you have protected their Deen and their dignity.

00:12:15 --> 00:12:24

They protected their Deen meaning that if this was something Haram, then the law, I never indulged in it.

00:12:26 --> 00:12:27

And I'm safe in terms of my D.

00:12:28 --> 00:12:30

I won't be punished by a lot.

00:12:32 --> 00:12:38

In terms of his honor, his dignity, people will talk about that look at so and so.

00:12:40 --> 00:12:51

He indulges in this thing, which is doubtful, or if according to them, it's around looking at this person indulging in something harm. And so he, he protects his reputation.

00:12:57 --> 00:13:04

And so these are people who pursue and indulge in these gray areas. You're treading a dangerous path.

00:13:05 --> 00:13:12

The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he tells us that whoever indulges in that third category,

00:13:14 --> 00:13:15

then

00:13:16 --> 00:13:17

he's about to fall into.

00:13:19 --> 00:13:20

He's about to fall into.

00:13:23 --> 00:13:31

Either he has fallen into her arm, for sure. Or it will eventually lead him to her. So these are two scenarios.

00:13:32 --> 00:13:34

Either that don't fall think

00:13:36 --> 00:13:45

he indulged in it, it was Don't fall for him. And it turns out leader that this thing was held on. So he fell into hold on as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,

00:13:47 --> 00:13:48

or it's doubtful.

00:13:50 --> 00:13:58

And no one knows even scholars, they don't know is this Hello, Ron. But it's something that will lead to heroin.

00:14:00 --> 00:14:11

It is something that will lead to her. And then this is the example that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, then gives us the parable, the parable that he gives us, he says, a shepherd,

00:14:12 --> 00:14:20

that's such a person is like a shepherd, who has his flock of sheep. That grazes in a certain area.

00:14:22 --> 00:14:24

This certain area is next to

00:14:25 --> 00:14:34

it is next to the private land of, let's say, a king or a rich person who has this huge piece of land.

00:14:36 --> 00:14:38

And it's private property.

00:14:39 --> 00:14:41

And no one's allowed to trespass.

00:14:44 --> 00:14:53

The sheep, naturally they'll be attracted to that land. Why? Because it's untouched. It's lush and green. It's attractive to them.

00:14:56 --> 00:14:59

And so they will, they are bound to enter

00:15:00 --> 00:15:01

They will eventually enter

00:15:02 --> 00:15:10

or some of them and it'll be difficult for him to prevent them, especially once they've entered.

00:15:12 --> 00:15:13

Likewise,

00:15:14 --> 00:15:18

those who indulge in this third category, the doubtful matters.

00:15:20 --> 00:15:23

Thinking that, you know, it's okay, it's fine, there's no harm in it.

00:15:24 --> 00:15:25

But before they know it,

00:15:27 --> 00:15:29

they're nuts will become attracted

00:15:31 --> 00:15:32

to what is haram

00:15:33 --> 00:15:37

and then it will become difficult for them to prevent themselves.

00:15:39 --> 00:15:40

And so,

00:15:42 --> 00:15:49

after that the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam tells us that every king has his private property property,

00:15:50 --> 00:15:52

every king has that

00:15:54 --> 00:15:56

that private pasture

00:15:57 --> 00:15:59

and those limits

00:16:01 --> 00:16:06

that beyond this point, you cannot trust trespass beyond this point, don't enter

00:16:07 --> 00:16:11

and then he said The law also has such a thing

00:16:12 --> 00:16:20

a law also has such limits. And then he explained what are these limits of Allah? They are

00:16:21 --> 00:16:25

what Allah has made her meaning that for that second category, we said

00:16:26 --> 00:16:34

that the rulings of a law divided into three what is clearly Hillel what is clearly foreign, and then what is doubtful.

00:16:35 --> 00:16:38

So the limits of a lot is that second category

00:16:40 --> 00:16:43

what is clearly these are the limits of a lot.

00:16:45 --> 00:16:48

So what the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam is trying to

00:16:50 --> 00:17:08

explain to us is these are the limits of a lot. He's not saying don't enter into the limits of a lot, because that is that is obvious that we're not supposed to do what is clearly Haram. But what he is telling us through this parable is don't even come near to what it's hot.

00:17:10 --> 00:17:12

Don't even come near to what is her

00:17:14 --> 00:17:15

thinking that it's okay.

00:17:16 --> 00:17:24

I haven't done what is her arm, it's okay. If I come near it. Why? Because you're very close.

00:17:25 --> 00:17:26

And eventually

00:17:27 --> 00:17:30

you won't be able to control yourself and you'll fall into what is her.

00:17:31 --> 00:17:32

And so

00:17:35 --> 00:17:38

Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about his limits in the Quran.

00:17:39 --> 00:17:42

tilka who do the law he thelotter

00:17:44 --> 00:17:54

these are the limits of the law so don't come near them. The same meaning of this hadith. Allah says these are the limits these are the boundaries of Allah. So do not come near them

00:17:56 --> 00:17:57

in the other Ayah

00:17:58 --> 00:18:01

till, Coto de la de tierra, de la, Allah.

00:18:04 --> 00:18:04

Allah

00:18:06 --> 00:18:12

that's what we mentioned, chakra boo ha, and in the other Ayah tilter who do the law he fella data do.

00:18:14 --> 00:18:17

These are the limits of illogical do not exceed them.

00:18:18 --> 00:18:19

Do not exceed them.

00:18:23 --> 00:18:40

And so we learned many, many lessons from this howdy there are so many lessons that can be learned from this idea. But we'll stick to the lessons that can be learned from this part of the parable. Otherwise, as I mentioned, this hadith is mentioning urbane Anna Weir.

00:18:42 --> 00:18:54

And the scholars have explained all of those had eaten the they go into detail into all parts of the Hadith. We have the last part of the Hadith, which is the profitable Selim said

00:18:56 --> 00:18:58

that there is a piece of flesh in the body,

00:18:59 --> 00:19:02

if it is upright,

00:19:03 --> 00:19:05

then the entire body will be upright

00:19:06 --> 00:19:09

that if it is corrupt, the entire body will be corrupt and that is the heart

00:19:11 --> 00:19:13

and basically,

00:19:15 --> 00:19:16

the scholars they

00:19:18 --> 00:19:19

compare that to

00:19:21 --> 00:19:24

an army general who has many troops.

00:19:26 --> 00:19:41

If the Army General himself is operate, he is wise. He is smart, and he himself he has a good character, and so on and so forth, then everyone under him will be the same.

00:19:42 --> 00:19:46

But if he is corrupt, then everyone under will be the same. Like him.

00:19:48 --> 00:19:59

Likewise is our heart. We have to rectify our hearts. If we want the rest of our body parts to submit if our heart does not submit to Allah

00:20:00 --> 00:20:05

Don't expect our actions and our body parts to submit to allow

00:20:06 --> 00:20:20

it. So among the lessons that we learned from this Hadeeth is, first of all, a loss of Hannah who without it has made the halaal and the haoran, explicit and clear, not leaving any room for adult.

00:20:21 --> 00:20:29

These are two categories of how halaal and al-hurra. And so this shows us the grave danger

00:20:31 --> 00:20:36

of those who try to dote, what is clearly wrong and what is clearly

00:20:38 --> 00:20:39

there are people today who try to do

00:20:40 --> 00:20:43

what is clearly halon, and what is clearly wrong.

00:20:46 --> 00:20:49

And so they make halaal, what is haram?

00:20:50 --> 00:20:51

What is clearly wrong,

00:20:53 --> 00:20:58

and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam spoke about this, when he said, in Hawaii, that there will come a time

00:21:01 --> 00:21:07

when people, they will change the names of things, only to make them color.

00:21:09 --> 00:21:14

And so, our hammer will be called by another name. And the people say it's not the same thing.

00:21:16 --> 00:21:17

And he gave other examples.

00:21:19 --> 00:21:26

So that's what we're seeing today, where people are making things halaal by simply giving it another name.

00:21:31 --> 00:21:33

The second lesson that we learned is

00:21:35 --> 00:21:37

that we should stay within the realm

00:21:38 --> 00:21:50

of what is clearly Hello. So we have three things here, we have three realms, we have what is clearly halaal. And what is clearly how long.

00:21:52 --> 00:22:04

If we were to make circles, we would make a circle, this is Hello. And then we will make a circle next week, this is how long but we will make it overlap. And then that area in between, that is what

00:22:06 --> 00:22:14

we have to stay within the realm of what is completely halal and not enter into that middle area.

00:22:16 --> 00:22:26

Because once we start pursuing that middle area, those doubtful matters, then we have entered into a danger zone.

00:22:29 --> 00:22:32

That Although initially, we may think that you know what, it's safe,

00:22:33 --> 00:22:42

there's nothing harmful in it, it'll eventually take us to what is explicitly harm, it will end up taking us to the other side.

00:22:43 --> 00:22:48

So you want to stay away from it as much as you can. So stay within what is clearly had.

00:22:50 --> 00:22:53

stay within what is clearly an undoubtfully Hello.

00:22:55 --> 00:23:10

The third lesson that we learned from this hadith is that we have to ask the people of knowledge, we have to turn to the people of knowledge, the scholars about what is doubtful, and that which we don't know the ruling of

00:23:12 --> 00:23:19

and so if they the scholars after we consult them, they make the ruling clear to us so a certain thing we didn't know.

00:23:21 --> 00:23:25

Is this something halal or haram? Should I do it? Should I not?

00:23:26 --> 00:23:28

Don't indulge in it, thinking

00:23:29 --> 00:23:32

that it's okay, I'll just go based on my judgment,

00:23:34 --> 00:23:36

but rather consult the people of knowledge.

00:23:38 --> 00:23:45

And then if they make the ruling clear to you, whether it's clearly halal or haram, they have the law.

00:23:47 --> 00:23:49

But if they don't,

00:23:52 --> 00:24:01

for example, you consult more than one scholar and they have differed on this issue. And so you find that there is a difference of opinion

00:24:03 --> 00:24:05

and it is a valid difference of opinion.

00:24:06 --> 00:24:07

Then here we say

00:24:08 --> 00:24:13

it is better for your deen and your dignity, as apostle Selim said, stay away from it.

00:24:16 --> 00:24:19

It's something which clearly there's a strong difference of opinion.

00:24:21 --> 00:24:25

Why do you want to indulge in it when it's doubtful?

00:24:27 --> 00:24:33

And we have examples of this in history where certain new things came about

00:24:34 --> 00:24:40

that the scholars initially initially they differed over that new thing.

00:24:41 --> 00:24:44

Some scholars said he's hard on others that it's hard on.

00:24:45 --> 00:24:48

And then later on it turned out that they found out

00:24:49 --> 00:24:50

it is clearly wrong.

00:24:54 --> 00:24:59

And today you will find any scholar seeing it. It is an example of this is smoking tobacco.

00:25:02 --> 00:25:05

When it was initially introduced to the Muslim world

00:25:07 --> 00:25:08

This color is different.

00:25:09 --> 00:25:11

Is it something halal or haram

00:25:13 --> 00:25:18

and so some studies halaal, because, you know, it's not alcohol

00:25:20 --> 00:25:22

and it is not intoxicate.

00:25:23 --> 00:25:28

So they said it was hard. While other scholars, they said it's harder. So at that time,

00:25:30 --> 00:25:33

if you had followed the opinion of those who said it's halal,

00:25:34 --> 00:25:38

then you would have fallen into what is today unanimously agreed on that this is her.

00:25:40 --> 00:25:58

And so, now, after you know, medical advancement, and we find that, you know, the dangers of it, are extremely dangerous for for the body and it leads to what it leads to lung cancer and so on and so forth. The scholars now they say it's, you know, clear cut its head on.

00:25:59 --> 00:26:02

So, this is an example of something where the scholars differ

00:26:04 --> 00:26:08

for your, for the better for the better of your deen and your dignity.

00:26:09 --> 00:26:14

Stay away from it. Finally, the last lesson that we learned from this headies is

00:26:16 --> 00:26:17

a principle

00:26:19 --> 00:26:20

of fifth

00:26:21 --> 00:26:26

that the scholars mentioned, which is known as said of the raw,

00:26:27 --> 00:26:32

which basically means to block the means that can lead to something harder.

00:26:34 --> 00:26:38

So something in and of itself, it's not hard on,

00:26:39 --> 00:26:44

but it definitely it definitely leads to that which is harder.

00:26:46 --> 00:26:47

So, the scholars,

00:26:49 --> 00:26:56

they use this ruling, they use this principle to say that that thing that leads to the home is also heard.

00:27:00 --> 00:27:01

And this principle

00:27:02 --> 00:27:03

is

00:27:04 --> 00:27:09

based on many Hadeeth are many rulings in Islam

00:27:10 --> 00:27:27

where a lot in his messenger have made certain things to be impermissible not because they themselves those things seem to be you know, harmful or haram, but because of what they will definitely lead to

00:27:29 --> 00:27:31

and we have many examples of this.

00:27:32 --> 00:27:33

For example,

00:27:34 --> 00:27:38

the ruling in terms of intoxicants

00:27:39 --> 00:27:41

the ruling states that

00:27:43 --> 00:27:46

was in talks intoxicates in a large amount

00:27:48 --> 00:27:50

even a small amount is hard on

00:27:52 --> 00:28:00

that which intoxicates if you were to drink it or take it in large amounts, even a small amount is harder.

00:28:02 --> 00:28:04

This is based on Hadith the prophet SAW Selim said it

00:28:09 --> 00:28:13

and so if you take a small amount you'll see that you know what this

00:28:14 --> 00:28:16

it's not intoxicating me. So it's Helen.

00:28:18 --> 00:28:20

Let's see other than alcohol.

00:28:21 --> 00:28:27

Although they're not because alcohol Hubbard is clearly wrong. But let's see something else.

00:28:29 --> 00:28:29

Let's see something new.

00:28:31 --> 00:28:32

You don't know is this holiday?

00:28:34 --> 00:28:46

So you take a small amount and you take it you're like this isn't intoxicating. Therefore there's nothing wrong with it. But the principle we have is that anything that intoxicated in large amounts

00:28:48 --> 00:28:50

taking it in small amounts is also

00:28:53 --> 00:28:54

another example

00:28:58 --> 00:28:59

looking at how I'm looking at

00:29:01 --> 00:29:02

looking at women

00:29:04 --> 00:29:06

you're like this not harmful having committed Xena

00:29:08 --> 00:29:10

and that is why a lot for beat it in the

00:29:12 --> 00:29:32

cold, meaning I hope boom in Swati him. Well follow Derek as Carla say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and protect their private parts that is pure for them. Someone may say I'm not, you know, I'm not coming Xena. It this will lead me to Xena.

00:29:34 --> 00:29:44

But a lot it was better. That's why a lot legislated that because Allah knows our weaknesses. And he knows that this will lead to Hara.

00:29:46 --> 00:29:51

Likewise Allah says in the Quran when I talked to Robert Xena Don't come near Xena.

00:29:52 --> 00:30:00

He did not say don't commit Zina. He said Don't come near Xena. So all the steps leading to Xena are also how

00:30:02 --> 00:30:03

Someone may say I haven't

00:30:04 --> 00:30:05

done anything wrong.

00:30:06 --> 00:30:08

I haven't even touched her.

00:30:10 --> 00:30:12

But you having that relationship with her?

00:30:13 --> 00:30:15

Even that is how I'm wired because it will lead

00:30:16 --> 00:30:17

to what is

00:30:19 --> 00:30:20

also being in seclusion

00:30:21 --> 00:30:28

with a woman who you are not her mother, that what did the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam say about that.

00:30:30 --> 00:30:31

Don't be alone with

00:30:32 --> 00:30:38

with such a woman why because you are two, you are two individuals and the 30 shaitan.

00:30:41 --> 00:30:52

Also for play with your wife in Ramadan when fasting is not allowed, why? So all of these rulings are there in place

00:30:53 --> 00:31:02

because of what they will lead to. And so that is what we learned from this Hadeeth that we have to stay away from everything that leads to her

00:31:04 --> 00:31:06

without saying that, you know what,

00:31:07 --> 00:31:09

I have actually done the wrong thing.

00:31:12 --> 00:31:24

But rather by looking at this idea, and taking the advice of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and realizing that you're very close, very close to what is haram and

00:31:26 --> 00:31:29

if you don't stay away from it, then you will end up in
