We move on after that to the next parable.
And this is the parable that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gives concerning himself and his own.

My example and the example of the people is that of a man who made a fire

It shows us the relationship that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has with his

who is trying his best to save us from the hellfire.
So he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam compared himself here to a man who goes out into the wilderness
and ignites a fire.
And naturally the fire
what will it do it will attract those insects
and those moths in another version of the Hadith locusts.
So they will be attracted by the light of this fire.
And they will eventually fall into it.
burning the fire.
So this man tried his best to prevent these creatures from falling into the fire but he was not successful. He tried his best, whatever he could save he saved.
But whatever he couldn't, they fell into the fire.
And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
is giving us this parable
to basically show us that he was sent by Allah subhanho wa Taala
as a warner
a terrible punishment that awaits mankind.
As mentioned in the story of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
when he was commanded by a lot to finally proclaim His power openly, publicly,
because there was a period of time when the data was
and it was not public. And then finally Allah commanded him to make it public. And so what did the prophet SAW Selim do? He went to Mount Sasa, he claimed it and he called the leaders of courage. He called them to come.
And so they all came and when they were gathered, he said to them,
Suppose I was to tell you that there is an enemy
in the valley behind this mountain
ready to attack you?
Would you believe me or not?
So here the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was using something to convince them about what he was about to tell them.
this is one of
the proofs that we use to prove that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was indeed a true prophet and messenger from Allah. One of the criteria
of a true prophet is his truthfulness.
And so if someone was to ask you, how do I know that hammer Salama, it was seldom was actually a true prophet and messenger from Allah. You would use this as an example.
He basically used the fact that his people knew him to be truthful.
since he was a child until the age of 14,
almost an entire lifetime.
What did what was their answer? When he asked them? That if I was to tell you there was an army behind this mountain ready to attack you? Would you believe me? Or not? What was their answer?
They said, Yes, we would believe you. Why? Because we have never known you to lie.
We have never known you to lie.
Why would you like today?
After spending a lifetime, never lying.
And so this is one of the evidences that the prophet SAW Selim was indeed, a true prophet from Allah, the fact that his people knew him to be truthful, or saw the mean.
And he was never known to lie. So why on earth would he now come to lie to fabricate such a huge lie about a loss of Hannah Montana, and him being a prophet and a messenger? Sort of loud, he said. So, the point is,
that when they answered in this way, of course, we would believe you.
He then said,
in that case, I am award winner to you have a horrific punishment to come.
And then add your own luck on beignet, they should
have been sent as a warner to warn you of a terrible punishment.
And this is the famous incident in which
Abu lahab was present. The uncle of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
So after the Prophet Sal sort of said this Abu lahab
he said to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, me your hand perish to bad luck. Is this why you gathered us today.
And so this is when Allah subhana wa tada revealed sudo to lab May the hands of a bola be perish.
So the point is that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sent as a warner, to warn us of a terrible punishment that awaits those who refuse to submit to what he came with. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam spent his entire life
as a prophet and a messenger conveying to us what we needed to know, in order to avoid the punishment of a loss of heart.
And he sacrificed his life for that mission.
He did everything he did in his life. And he went through everything he went through sacrificing
his life, for whose sake
for his own self, no, but rather for our sake,
to save us,
just like this man who Kindle that fire,
and then the moths and insects were coming in, he tried to prevent them from the fire. He didn't want them to die.
He didn't want them to get burned.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the same. This is what he is trying to tell us here that he cares for us. He does not want us to suffer.
He is concerned for our well being
and that's how it was handled with

Meaning Ibrahim Allah Islam is pleading to Allah to forgive them.
And then the sun receded the other verse concerning Isa it Salam at the end of sutra Merida, where is it? Sam comes on the Day of Judgment.
And Allah subhanahu wa tada asks, Is it some Did you tell them
you and your mother and to make them as partners with me, as are you Sally you Salaam proves his innocence. And then he says, into a boon for in only bad luck, or interfere long for in the character as usual.
decide to punish them, the indeed they are Your servants.
And if you decide to forgive them that indeed you are an Aziz and Hakeem
Mighty, the moose. Why,
again? Is it a solemn pleading to Allah to forgive them?
So when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
the Sahabi he says when he heard him reciting these verses
after that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Allah,
Almighty, Allah, my own man.
And then he started crying
out of concern for his
that if these prophets, Ibrahim and Louisa were so concerned about their people

and yet they're begging a lot to forgive them.
And how about my own?
I made him cry, Almighty Almighty, Allah my alma mater.
And then after that, the Sahaba he says the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,
Allah subhanho wa Taala said when Allah heard the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam saying, Who Matthew Mati, Allah said, Oh, gibreel go to Mohammed, and ask him, what makes you cry?
Even though Allah knows,
but he sent gibreel eyes.
So jabril came to him and asked him and the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam informed him of what he had said.
Although along with fully
upon this, Allah subhanho wa Taala said, Oh jabril go to Mohammed.
And say, we will surely please you with regards to your mat, and we will not displease you.
You will be pleased
with the outcome of
and so this was the care,
the compassion that he sort of long run he was Selim had for us.
But what is our nature?
And this now shows us the next part of
of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is this man who Kindles a fire.
And the insects and the moths come falling into it, and he's trying to save them.
How about us?
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says,
I'm holding on to your waists, your waist belts.
In another version of the Hadith, it says, but you are slipping from my hands
and falling into the fire.
You are slipping from my hands. In another version, you insist on falling into the fire.
And so our nature, unfortunately used to ignore the warning and not to take heed.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sent to warn us.
And so instead of holding on to his hand to save us,
we push it to the side and jump into the fire that he's trying to save us from.
ignoring his talk,
ignoring his commandments,
ignoring his prohibitions.
And so among the lessons that we learn from this parable is first and foremost.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam cared for us like a compassionate
like a compassionate parent, father or mother, who makes sure that their child is safe from every harm.
And this shows his great right upon us as it
were, if it was not for him,
we would have been doomed.
And so we respect him, we love him. sallallahu alayhi wasallam
we stand up for him we defend his honor.
Not for our own, not for his sake.
Not because he gains anything out of it, but rather for our sake.
We are the ones who are going to benefit not him.
Our amen is solidified by our email in the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
and by loving him
person who doesn't love him he's not a true believer.
that none of you truly believes, until
I am more beloved to him, then his son, his father, and all of mankind.
We are the ones who are in need of loving the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, of honoring him,
of showing him respect
following his son
have standing up for him and defending his honor, in a day and age like today, where,
you know, under the guise of freedom of expression,
they are insulting him said Allahu Allah he was.
And so it's not really freedom of expression, but rather,
we should call it freedom to offend.
And insult because that is what it really is.
in a day and age like today,
our email is tested, will we stand up for himself or herself and defend his honor or not?
And how do we do that through whatever capability Allah has given to us.
We don't wait on others to take action,
for others are sleeping.
But rather, we do what is in our hands to do.
Which is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that
whoever among you sees an evil, he should change it with his hand. But if he is not able to do it, then what should you do?
He should change with his tongue, which we are capable of doing.
By writing in opposition, by vocally verbally
such treatment of our profits in the long run he was.
And then the process of them said, Whoever is not even able to do that, then he should hate it with his heart. And that is the lowest form of email.
And so today, we can see that after
the cause of
the masses of the Muslims, towards boycotting French products, it really hit them.
He actually did work.
We didn't wait on rulers to take action.
The Muslim rulers but rather, the masses, they decided to start this campaign and it worked. How did it work? The French government is calling upon begging
Muslim countries to not boycott French products, because they're already going through
an economic problem.
And they know that this is going to hurt them that.
So the point is that the believers will stand up for the Prophet sallallahu it will sell them to defend his honor, in whatever capacity that we can.
And we do it not for his sake, but rather for our own sake.
Allah, Allah says,
if you don't support him, if you don't defend him,
and Allah has already defended him, Allah has already stood by his side.

against those who make fun of you, those who mock you. Allah does not need us for that, who has already taken care of that.

The second lesson that we learned from this Heidi, and this parable is
that there is no salvation for us, except by following his son.
There is no way for us to be saved,
except by following his way.
And that's why Mr. Malik
has this famous statement that

Well, he's going to be drowned.
And in reality, this is the greatest way of standing up for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. That's because the reality is
the enemies of Islam, they never really took this step
to dishonor the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam except after they saw the state of themselves,
that we don't really love the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
we don't really follow his Sunnah we don't really follow his way.
And so they took that daring step
to cross that red line.
And so if today we go for demonstrations, or do whatever, we try to denounce it, they know it's a momentum that will come in and will fade away.
But the real way of truly standing up for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
is by implementing
by living his by living our lives,
according to how he taught us.
It's always unfortunate today we hear
when you say, so now people ask, Well, is it obligatory? Or is it just a swing?
And so we can say that
if you do it,
you're safe. Because if it was something obligatory, then you're, you've accomplished you fulfill that obligation. And if it's not an if it's not an obligation,
and just something that is sooner,
then you go away with reward. Either way, it's a win win situation. So why do we have to ask this question? We asked this question because we don't value.
We don't value the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in our hearts, because if we truly did, we wouldn't ask, Is it something that I have to do or not? Rather, we would do it.
If we heard the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did it? Or that he, it was something that he encouraged to do,
then we would readily do it.
And so among the lessons that we learned from this parable, finally, the last lesson, and we'll conclude with this is that there is nothing that the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam commanded,
except that it must be good and beneficial.
And there is nothing that he sort of long Well, he was sort of forbade us from or discouraged, except that it must be evil and dangerous.
Because what did we say in the very beginning, that he came as a warner,
and as a savior,
he came to save us
from the punishment that awaits us.
So whatever he commands us with,
is for our own good, there must be good in it, whatever he forbids us from
there must be something dangerous in it.
Because he came to save us from the punishment.
So when he commands
and when he forbids, he does so
to save us from that punishment.
And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sent as a warner, a guide, a giver of glad tidings to the believers who follow his way
and a warner to those who decide not to follow his way. And so this is the parable that we have here. And we conclude with this, you ask Allah Subhana Allah, to accept
and to grant us beneficial knowledge we ask Allah subhana wa tada to make us to love the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam to love his son to implement his son in our lives.
