The second lesson that we learned from

is that to Allah belongs

the dominion, the sovereignty of this entire universe of the entire creation.

As such,

whatever sovereignty whatever kingship

exists in the hands of human beings

like kings and rulers

00:18:10--> 00:18:12

none of it is real kingship.

None of it is real dominion. Why? Because it's incomplete.

00:18:21--> 00:18:31

It's not encompassing everything in the creation. And that's the difference between a lot being as Melek and human beings being Melek.

And so

on, think of the greatest king on the face of this earth.

His kingdom has borders

00:18:49--> 00:18:52

that don't go beyond what he has.

Not only in terms of land but also in terms of time.

He rules for a certain number of years and then that's it his kingdom or his kingship is over.

As opposed to Allah subhana wa Tada

whose kingdom is the entire creation and not limited by time or space.

Also,

the kingdom of human beings is prone to being demolished.

Eventually, one day,

people will be gone.

Think of

all the past rulers

00:19:40--> 00:19:44

and kingdoms and empires and civilizations that existed throughout history.

Even if some lasted centuries. Eventually, their kingdom came to an end.

No Empire lasts forever.

00:20:02--> 00:20:06

No kingship lasts forever. Think of the greatest tyrants for the home

and others.

Eventually, the Kingdom

it came crashing down.

As for Allah's dominion,

then it is the real dominion that will never go away.

who not only is the true king, but also the one who gives kingship.

into believing that there are certain people and certain powers

who no one has.

No no one can override their powers. No one can override their authority, certain tyrants, certain rulers, certain kings,

00:27:28--> 00:27:34

to the point where certain people start worshiping those individuals, like fit a home

00:27:35--> 00:27:41

and how he told the people that I am your robe. No one has the authority to challenge me.

00:27:44--> 00:27:48

On that day, the same tyrants will be standing before Allah subhana who went to hell.

00:27:50--> 00:27:55

And so not a single soul will have any authority on that day.

Now, even those who are closest to Allah subhana who with too

That's why Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions this fact that a Shiva

He will intercede and ask Allah to come and start to judgment. So the point is

that no one on that day will have any authority. So that is the wisdom behind Allah subhanahu Attallah mentioning in the Quran.

And so only Allah subhanho wa Taala will be judging on that day.

The verdict of Allah no one bit will be able to appeal the verdict of Allah subhanahu wa Tada the judgments that he will be passing on that day.

And so this should cause us to fear Allah subhanho wa Taala and that's why

Allah subhanho wa Taala says Maliki OMA Dean,

after which two names of Allah

Why does Allah mentioned that he is

the Malik of the Day of Judgment after mentioning that he is the most versatile

so that no one gets deluded

into thinking that, you know, Allah is the Most Merciful. He is the Most Compassionate. Now I could do whatever I want. No matter what sins I do, Allah will be forgiving me. Allah will have mercy upon me. I don't have anything to worry about.

So that's why Allah right away he tells us no, he's also Maliki yummy Dean.

He is the Owner of the Day of Recompense.

The day in which he will reward those who deserve the reward and punish those who deserve the punishment.

So don't get diluted. Yes, He is the Most Merciful, but he is also the most unjust and his justice will be seen on that day.

of him being the only Malik on the Day of Judgment. When he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, and he was on the member,

And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Allah will fold the heavens on the day of judgment, and then place them on his right hand. And then he will see any Melek a knowledgeable room in the room. I am the medic on this day.

Where are the tyrants? Where are the hottie? The proud,

the arrogant.

Finally, one last lesson that we learned from these names of Allah subhanahu wa Tada

and perhaps the most fruitful lesson that we learned

is that we should turn to Allah subhanahu wa Tada and seek all of our needs of this dunya

from Allah subhanahu wa taala our needs of the dunya and

00:33:30--> 00:33:32

why because he is the only Malik

00:33:34--> 00:33:37

he is the only Malik he is the only owner

00:33:39--> 00:33:45

who owns and possesses everything. Even what is in the hands of people.

00:33:48--> 00:33:50

And they claim I own this.

00:33:51--> 00:33:58

This is my property. This is my wealth. This is my kingdom.

00:34:00--> 00:34:04

Even them who gave it to them who really owns

00:34:05--> 00:34:09

and so Allah subhanho wa Taala can take it from them and give it to you.

So why would you humiliate yourself before others

even if they be whoever they are,

even if it'd be a king, why go begging to him

00:34:32--> 00:34:35

and lowering yourself and humiliating yourself to him

00:34:37--> 00:34:38

rather than

00:34:40--> 00:34:50

humiliating yourself and humbling yourself before the King of all kings and begging from Allah subhanahu wa Tada in whose hands

00:34:51--> 00:34:52

he's everything.

00:34:54--> 00:34:56

And this is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said

in a hadith

concerning Allah subhanho wa Taala decending

00:35:09--> 00:35:15

he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that Allah subhanahu wa taala descends every night.

And so from this hadith we learned

that one of Allah's attributes is that he descends.

00:35:27--> 00:35:36

But obviously, he does so in a manner befitting himself. We don't get into how ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada does what he does.

Nor do we deny any of the attributes of Allah

under the assumption

that these attributes mean,

that we are resembling Allah to his creation, when are you not to be?

So we affirm, as long as Allah said it, as long as the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam said it, that we believe in it, without denying it, without changing its meaning. Because there are some who they will change the meaning here, and they'll say, No, it doesn't mean that a lot actually descends.

So we say No, Allah does descend. But he say, he does so in a manner befitting himself we don't know how.

Nor do we ask how nor do we imagine how you simply accept it. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that Allah descends every night, to the lowest heaven, in the last third of the night. And then he calls and he asks, he says, he says, NL Malik, Malik, I am the Malik, by him de Malik,

who is there who is making dua to me so that I could answer Him

who is there who is begging of me so that I could grant him who is there who is asking for my forgiveness, so that I could forgive him. And then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Allah continues to do that, until until Frederick.

And so what we learned from this

that Allah subhanho wa Taala is the true Melek. And that's why Allah says here, that he is a true medic.

And that's why he encourages us to ask him instead of others,

no matter which King it is,

His kingdom is limited, and His power is limited, and his authority is limited. If he gives you something, he gives you something which is limited, whereas the King of all kings, Allah subhanahu wa Tada.

When he gives, He gives out of his kingdom, which has no limit.

And that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam forbade us

naming ourselves as Millikan, Luke, the King of all kings, because there is no king of all kings except Allah subhanahu wa Tada. And so these are the lessons that we learned from

these three names of Allah subhana wa Tada. related to

00:38:23--> 00:38:40

his king, his kingship related to his sovereignty. We ask Allah subhanahu wa Tada to grant of gratis of His Bounty. And we ask Allah subhanahu wa Tada to grant us beneficial knowledge.

And we ask Allah subhanahu Medina to make us from among those who recognize who he is through his names and his attributes.
