And we see during the conquest of Mecca, how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam enters Mecca and with his Bow, bow and arrow with his bow, he takes it and he knocks over all of the idols that are there around the Kaaba, how many idols were there?

Okay, think of it. What is how many degrees are in a circle? 360 degrees in a circle, there were 360 idols around the Kava. Okay, there were 360 idols around the Kaaba and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam not all of them over, you know, breaking the the idols when they entered makhan conquered Mecca.

In verses number 16 to 18, Allah subhanho wa Taala warns us not to dispute over Islam do not dispute over Islam. And that's something that sort of handler we need to bring to our attention is how sometimes we get into arguments over Islam or we get into arguments disputes over differences of opinion. Now in Islam, we have an and you'll see that the Prophet sallallahu wasallam warned us about the 73 different sects that will divide this among

those sects, we're not talking about the 72 that are wrong, or the 72 that are, you know, swinging away or push themselves away from the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the one

the sect or group which is it's not even a sect it's it's the agenda as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam tells us and teaches us, it's the one method that is correct and right, we're not talking about the 73 different sects, we notice how people will vary and dispute in their arguments over opinions. So for example, one person says, I follow the chef and remote help another person says, I follow the handler method. Why do you do this? Why do you do that? Why do you put your hands here? Why do you put your hands here? Why do you put your hands here? And why do you put your hands there? All of them are not wrong, all of them are correct. Why? Because they're based on evidences

or interpretation of evidences, Hadith, etc, of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And so therefore, when we dispute over things that are actually agreed upon, or proof is given, and there's evidences, we're not talking about belief. We're talking about different things practices, like how should I stand? Should my feet be this wide? Apart from my feet? Be this wide apart? Do my elbows and shoulders and knees and hips and everything? does everything need to connect with the person next to me? What is the opinions that are given? Those are not things that some kind of that we should be arguing over? And sadly, we see that scholars, they don't argue so much over these

opinions and viewpoints. It's the average person who is not as learned in the deen, that will hold on to the little knowledge of Islam that they know or have been taught. And they will fight tooth and nail to make sure that that's the way that it's done by everyone and anyone who does anything other than that is completely wrong. That's not the way our Dean teaches us to behave. That's not the method of the profits in the long run. I think he was sending them. There were times and instances that the Sahaba some of them did one thing and some did another.

Some of them would, you know, pray either prayer at one time or one place and others prayed in another place. Simple example. And so some handle that it's important for us to not argue over things that we are not well versed in, or we don't know as well. And this is extremely important for us to try and understand, especially at this point in time in the year where a lot of people come to the masjid. A lot of people are frequenting the masjid and now you'll see not only are they coming for Tada, we sadly They're coming for Asia as well. But a lot of people their main focus is taraweeh because after Ramadan, we don't see them coming very sharp either. And so we see how a lot of people

will come for Asia, they'll come for Tada, we and they will come for the MLA and they will come first.

right because people are awake having so hard. So the mustard is frequented a lot during the month of Ramadan. And you see that a lot of people who you may have not seen throughout the month are now coming and the two people or three people or four people or 10 people who you you don't regularly see regularly see in the mustard. They're arguing amongst themselves why they're not used to coming and seeing other people and meeting and saying Okay, okay, this person is praying, this person is moving their finger this person is you know, like this and then doing this to childhood. And then you know, some person might be moving their finger one person might be moving it faster another

person is moving at slower. One person might be moving in a circle and everyone starts to argue What is this? What does that mean? I don't know it's not hot. I'm chill, relax, learn, learn. This is what Allah subhana wa

As teaching us learn, and so it's important for us not to point fingers at each other. Remember, when you're pointing that finger at someone else, there's three more fingers pointing right back at you. Okay? So we need to be the person that learns first, before we go and point the finger at someone else and start to judge them based on a few things that we might see them doing that we don't know of. It might be a matter of us not knowing that that's actually part of the deen. Okay, we move on to verse number 30.

For those that are just joining us verse numbers 30 of sorta assura and we never asked what the definition of Surah assura is, what is the definition assura

consultation Where shall we or whom,

so Allah subhanho wa Taala teaches us the importance of making sure and this was this was taught to us through the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as well, that we consult with others, family members consult with each other community members consult with each other. Right? And, and really importantly, based on the verses that we just went through, sometimes you'll notice in different massage it and I'm not pointing the finger at any mustard, this one or any mustard, because I don't I'm not part of any mustard sutra, or any mustard committee. Right. And I tried to remain that way. And sometimes you'll notice that committee members in you know, have massages, they

will fight and argue or they will complain to each other about certain things. And then sometimes they break themselves apart and create different packs or different groups that are arguing or opposing the others based on their viewpoints based on their culture based on maybe their own personal feelings sometimes based on the age group of their children. No, we don't want any youth programs in the masjid. Why? Because their children are already grown up. And their children are married and have young children of their own. And they don't see the need to have those youth programs. And then you'll see maybe another group that says no, our children are our youth. They're

young adults, they're not married, they're, you know, either out in the clubs, or they're here in the masjid, what's better. And so you'll see this this division in community members have had a lot and sometimes in board members or shootout members. And it's important for us to cooperate and that's why there needs to be an immediate and we need to learn the importance of respecting the immediate and the Amir's decision, even if everyone says no, we don't want to do this, but the image decides Yes, we're going to do it haha. So there's in that decision, do it work towards it and if it's a failure, if whatever the the decision is, and whatever you're working towards, if it's a

failure Alhamdulillah it's a learning experience. We learned not to do this again. We learnt not to do this again. In verse number 13, Allah subhana wa tada shows us that hardships or maybe even disasters that we face in our life

are because of our sins, Wilma. Also on back home he mostly

And we see this as well in the examples of the previous nations where their prophets and messengers were calling them away from sin, and warning them that if you don't come closer to the obedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala, or in some of the nations if you don't worship Allah and stop worshipping these idols, a punishment or a

disaster or something will happen and come to you, but our nation, the Nation of Muhammad, sallallahu alayhi wasallam we will not be destroyed by a sort of natural disaster or punishment of that sort, as in the entire nation, all of us will not be destroyed. This was something that Allah subhanaw taala spared us of. We will not see the punishments of the people of the past where their entire nation was destroyed, that will not come to the net and to the home of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam however, that re iterates and reinforces the importance of us as Muslims doing our part. We need to carry this Deen on our shoulders, we need to show the example of the Prophet

sallallahu alayhi wasallam Wherever we go, and to whom whomever we meet, and that is something that we as individuals, all of us need to do, not just the scholars Yes, Allah subhanho wa Taala like we took the verse Walter Come in, come on the other hand in a higher way

that there should be from amongst you a group of people who actively Go and call and invite people towards goodness and they refrain or stop people from evil and encouraged to do more good when they see good happening. However, it's the responsible

And you don't have that knowledge. How long do you tell the person I am the average

person, I don't have that knowledge. I didn't spend years studying Islam, I learned what I need to do in order to get through my day as an engineer, as a doctor, as a lawyer, whatever it is, and that is sufficient for for me. However, in order to answer your questions, I will direct you to someone who has those answers, or who can help to find those answers for us. Okay, so that that's an example of how there's a group of us who are extremely learned and there's all of us who have to do our part, regardless, okay.

We move on and shout Allahu taala in verses number 32 to 35. Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us how ships ships are a blessing from Allah subhanho wa Taala. And he made them to float and they steer they go through the water. However, if Allah subhana wa Taala, like you mentioned in the verses,

if he will, in verse number 33, he could, he could make the wind stand still.

And they would remain the ships or the boats would remain motionless on the surface of the water. However, when you think of water, you look at water, especially the the waves in the sea and the ocean and even in lakes. You see waves because the wind is blowing and the waves are making the water seem as though it's traveling in a direction even though maybe the body of water isn't but the surface is and Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us that he is in control of the wind and he uses the example of the ship that the ship or the boat that you put into the water that might have sales. Now don't think of the ship that has a motor or an engine right that drives it through the water. The

ship that has sales, Allah subhanho wa Taala can make that ship stop in its place and never move Imagine you're on the ship and you have no you know you have no sales or you have sales but there's no wind you cast the state the sales but you're not moving why because of luck control the wind and even the ship that has the motor in it with no sale whatsoever. Allah subhana wa tada can still control that. However, think of the ship that's in the water, whose engines are at maximum speed,

maximum capacity, trying to push this massive ship through the water. And the winds are so strong, they're pushing it backwards. As hard as it's trying to go in one direction. It's actually moving backwards who's in control. A lot can intensify the wind for that ship with the motor and bring it backwards when it's trying to go forwards. That's the power of Allah subhanho wa Taala. We take a simple example the Titanic, what did they say when it was built? When they were building it? Not even God can sink it? What happened on its first voyage? God sunk it Subhana Allah, right, a powerful message. movies were made of it documentaries, people research that people are still up

until today going and seeing the remains of the Titanic and talking about what happened and, you know, lots of money and wealth was lost down there. SubhanAllah up until today, people are still you know, highlighting the Titanic. And the one claim to fame that it had it was unsinkable that not even God could sink it. And on its first voyage it was sunk.

And it's a lesson for us because it was just off the shores of Canada who's coming here. So Pamela, right. It's a lesson for us to understand to open our eyes to realize that something so large, so powerful, this steel on it thick, like an inch, two inches thick, it is sunk. And some of you may know some of you were sailors My dad was a sailor he left Pakistan as I say there's a ton of love. Right? This the the structure the build of a ship, and it's massive and heavy but it doesn't sink. If Allah doesn't want it to sink because of buoyancy, it stays on the water. How does that happen? You take a piece of metal, you put it in the water, it sinks.

Right? You take even this Kleenex box, you put it in the water once the water starts to penetrate inside and it absorbs the water it sinks. How heavy is it? You take the Kleenex you put in the water once the water absorbs

It starts to go under the water. But a massive ship that weighs tons. Allah knows how many tons I don't know if anyone here could tell us how many tons of ship would weigh or maybe even the Titanic, it doesn't sink, unless Allah wants it to sink. And that's the power of Allah subhana wa.

That's the power that he has, he can make something even that doesn't have the sales go backwards even though the engine is pushing it forward. And so he highlights that here for us.

In verse number 51,

of sort of shorter, Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us three different steps of revelation that was used in you know, bringing down messages to human beings.

Allah subhanho wa Taala says and will read the English and it is not for any human being that Allah should speak to him except by revelation, or from behind the partition, Revelation. How is revelation done? How does it come down? So I'll mention two three and then we'll we'll see if you can understand revelation or from behind the partition, or that he sends a messenger to reveal what he reveals to him. So the first one is, Revelation second is behind the partition. Thirdly is he sends a messenger behind a partition we understand the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam goes to meet Allah subhana wa Johanna to receive the revelation. Right? It's behind the partition as in,

it's not like a sheet or blanket or a wall. But Allah subhanho wa Taala put something there that you can't see Allah subhanho wa Taala, a veil of some sort, whatever it is, it's irrelevant. Allah Subhana Allah in His infinite wisdom makes that happen.

The second thing that's easy to understand is the messenger. So jabril Allah has sent out and comes to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, his hair, his you know, the hair on him is extremely dark. His clothing is extremely white, pure and clean. He comes in the form of a human being that's understood. Allah subhanho wa Taala sent the angels to Ibrahim Allah has sent him to new Allah has sent up in the form of a human being. It's understood, we understand it, that's easy. However,

the third category, Allah subhanho, wa Taala, sends revelation through revelation. Right? What does that mean? Like revelation comes down in the form of Revelation, in the form of a way the profits that Allahu Allah He was sending them sometimes he would receive revelation and it was as though his body was extremely heavy, extremely heavy, there's no partition, there's no messenger, but it's coming to him, and his body becomes really, really heavy. And there's a haben I shadowed the Allahu anhu his family members, they used to describe how the profits in the long run even sometimes body became really heavy and you could see him they would know they could tell like something's happening

to him. This is revelation coming to him. And Allah subhana wa tada highlights those three methods for us. Here in verse number 51 of sola shorter, we move on to the 43rd surah of the Quran

Allah created us so they believe in that first element the Creator, a Lord, who created us Bismillah Ar Rahman AR Rahim Alhamdulillah here Rob been me and they believe in Allah as their rub as their Lord as their Creator. But they don't worship a law. They don't or they worship other things with Allah subhanho wa Taala. Or and we know the different, you know, things that are out there nowadays in terms of belief. And we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to guide us and keep us upon Amen. I mean, let's move on to verses 26 to 28.

In verses 26 to 28, Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us how Ibrahim alayhis salam, he, he affirms his belief and he tells that to his father while he's gone Ebola him will he be he won't call me he in anybody in any

town.

Buddha.

Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions to his father, as his father we took his name as our and his people indeed I am disassociated from that which you worship. I don't worship what you were what you worship, I worship Allah you want to worship these idols, that's your business. I've tried I've spoken to I've explained it to you, you don't want to understand I am disassociating myself myself with you in verses 33 to 35 Allah subhanho wa Taala gives us an example of the luxuries on earth. And here we see, you know, some of the adornments or the ornaments of Allah subhanho wa Taala that he created for us on earth will read through them in sha Allah hota Hana

and if it were not that the people would become one community of disbelievers, we would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful for their houses, ceilings and stairways of silver upon which to mount ceilings and stairways of silver. And for their houses, doors and couches of silver upon which to recline. Imagine that, how beautiful it would be Subhan Allah, they disbelieved and so those who believe, as we see here, a loss of bandwidth and it goes on, and gold ornament, but all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life and the hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous. We know that we're gonna have lots and lots of good things in general, right? But what is

the best thing? What is the greatest reward in genda? We mentioned it.

Seeing Allah subhanho wa Taala is the most amazing thing that we will get in Jannah. Similarly, what is the worst thing the most horrendous punishment that will go to those who disbelieved in Allah subhanho wa Taala What is it,

that they will not see Allah subhanho wa Taala that they will be restricted from seeing Allah subhanho wa Taala. Right. And so we ask Allah Subhana Allah to make us from amongst those that not only benefit from those luxuries that he provided for us and created for us in general, but we also get to see a loss of Hannibal attalla, which is the ultimate pleasure that we will achieve and receive with the help of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And so in verses 33 to 35, he shows us that, and how this earth you will see that on this earth, there are people who will sit on gold, or who will you know, dress in gold somehow they will actually have you know, clothing made with with stitching

of gold and silver, so kind of luck. And you'll see how, you know, people drive cars coated in gold, we know that you can Google it, you see it on YouTube, cars coated in gold or pure Silver's panela look at the wealth that people have, but they're enjoying it now. They're enjoying it now. For those that believe that's a different, that's a different thing. They might use that now and Allah subhana wa, tada will question, don't think that just because they believe that we'll be let off the hook. No, Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us the poor person will enter into paradise 500 years before the rich person, not because they're being sinned for being punished for 500 years. But because their

questioning takes so much longer, they will be questioned about every single, you know, ounce of, of wealth that was given to them, we all will, but the person that has less will have less to account for and the person who had more, but gave more will have less to account for what did you do with all of this? I gave it? What did you do with all of this, I used it to build schools, I used it to build houses I used it to, to educate students so they could become doctors, lawyers, engineers who are Muslim, because the Muslim community needs that. And I'm not just going to put my money into building beautiful massage, and I'm going to put my money into building beautiful individuales

beautiful community members, beautiful people that are going to grow up to show that Islam is alive in the people who are also Canadians, for example, for example, living in Canada, right? It's alive in us, I could be a doctor, I could be a lawyer, I could be an engineer, I could be you know, a teacher or a professor and still be a Muslim at the same time. car, drive it, there's nothing wrong with that. But make sure that when you earn your wealth, you're not just using it only for yourself and being selfish.
