Today in sha Allah to Allah, we will be starting the 12th Jews of the call an

He mentioned that it is sort of wood and its sisters who does that made his hair turn gray. And what is meant by that is the mention of his take on the dimension of steadfastness.

Within those sewers, how the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was emphasizing the importance of being steadfast upon the deen and of course Allah subhana wa tada says in Surah 230 as well.

it, it shows us that, you know, we we probably don't do enough, right, we could be doing more. And I think and feel a lot of the time that as much as we might feel as though we are very religious and very connected to a loss of handball with ADD, I sometimes feel as though we are far from that, you know, we are we're missing out, we're missing out on a lot from the son of Muhammad Sallallahu added us and them we're missing out on you know, really and truly separating ourselves from this dunya and not, you know, not not giving into it constantly.

Now, of course there are ways where it's permissible for us to do certain things, and our Deen is flexible that way however,

the flexibility that is within the deen doesn't mean that that is the best way to be. And that's why we have this concept of

in Islam right the concept of

always striving to do what is better, always being conscious of Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah and terrible de la hoca and nichetto who fell into contura hufa in New York knowing that you worship Allah subhana wa tada as though

And I'll say that because I think and I honestly feel that if we were to do everything to its fullest, and what we mean by that is, you know, you might take this miswak and you just keep it in your mouth, like yeah, it's permissible. Yeah, it's permissible while I'm fasting is

permissible to use my miswak but is it what a loss of handling Tana wants me to do all day long does he want me to keep this in my mouth so that maybe a piece comes off? Or you know when it comes to anything else? You know, giving sadaqa to someone else? Are we doing it truly for the sake of Allah subhana wa tada? Are we doing it because we know we have to do it and we intend to do it. But going the distance to make sure that the sadaqa is given maybe in a way that the receiver doesn't even know who we are, that they're receiving it without us knowing it. I remember a brother was telling me once Pamela,

Make sure that no one knows it came from him. Right. And he was he was sharing this with me, not publicly, not with others, but he was sharing it with me, you know, privately. And he was saying that he feels for himself. That's what allows him to gain a connection closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala Adam than anything else that he does. So you make sure that his connection with Allah is built through doing sadaqa. But going the distance in giving that setup to people without them knowing that it's coming from him, either through someone else, or, you know, placing it for them without the people knowing, you know who it came from. So, that in itself is important and it's their karma

being firm upon the deen, you know, is what made the hair of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam start to turn Great. Now, what do we see here in this surah, in Surah, hood, a number of things. In fact, we can even, we don't have time in one hour to go through half of this sorta or even a part of the surah because so many stories of different prophets are mentioned. So what I figured I would do is go through some of them because some will be mentioned later on as well within the protocol.

So to begin with, you know, we start with looking at how a loss of handling data starts off the sutra, talking about the book The Quran, and the messengers of Allah subhana wa tanunda that he sent,

and who we're calling towards the oneness of Allah Subhana, WA, tada, then how Allah Subhana Allah is responsible for the provisions of every single one of the creation, right the creation of a lesson handling data, he's responsible for it. So that's mentioned as well. I'm literally just like flying through it to get to some of the stories,

then a loss of hanway data shows us how our attitude changes with certain circumstances from verses number nine to verse number 11. And a loss of hen with Anna says, if we give people a taste of our mercy, then take it away from them. So you give them some mercy and then take it away from them. They become utterly desperate and ungrateful. Because they received something and then it was taken away, it's gone. Right? Like, oh, we had it What happened? It was gonna you know, it was in our possession. And now all of a sudden, it's gone, right? You receive something and then, and then all of a sudden, it's gone. Like for example,

you know, you get a new phone, a new cell phone, you have it and then two days later falls down in is broken. You're like, man, it cracked or there's a dent on it. Right? And that little dent throws you off. The phone is perfectly fine. It's working fine. It's making phone calls, you can scroll in the screen isn't shattered, everything's perfectly fine on it. But there's a little dingy. Like,

just got it right, all of a sudden, like all that thankfulness is gone, right? It's just like, oh, man, it's been ruined. You know, a simple example like that. How will so can with Hannah says, if we give people a taste of our mercy, then take it away from them. They become utterly desperate and ungrateful. But then I must have handled it and it says, but if we give them a taste of prosperity, after being touched with adversity, they say my ills are gone. Right? My hardships are gone, and become totally prideful and boastful. Right. So whether we are giving something nice and is taken away, or we're given hardship, and then that's taken away, we're given goodness, we then start to

become, you know, prideful, or boastful, and you know, arrogant at times, and show off as though like, Oh, look at me, I'm perfectly fine. Yeah, you know, how do I eat good food and exercise a lot. And, you know, it became healthy and I lost weight, and I put on muscle and isn't, some have a lot. It's like, Wait, are you? Are you showing gratitude to you showing gratitude to yourself? Right, so Allah subhanaw taala is showing us there, you know, when he gives us a little bit after some hardship, and then it's taken away. We're like, Oh,

it was pointless. Shouldn't have had it in the first place. It was like a tease. Right? It just came into teased us like a teaser, and then a loss of Hannah Montana showing, you know, what if we give you prosperity after being touched with adversity, and we say, Oh, you know what? hamdulillah you know, I did this and I did that and, you know, self isolation and all this handler now I'm perfectly fine. Everything's good. It was it was all me. I did everything. We didn't do anything as all of us always had. And then Allah subhana wa tada says in verse number 11, except those who patiently endure and do good, right, those who are going to be patient, with the good that they're given that

was taken away from them or with the hardships that they are going through and then some goodness comes to them. They're going to be patient and endure it with goodness right and they will continue to do goodness throughout all of it. It is they who will have forgiveness and a mighty reward. And Allah subhana wa tada says this right to before now going into some of the stories of the prophets and messengers of Allah subhana wa Tada.

So he shows us the importance of being grateful

fortunes of being thankful to Allah subhana wa tada whether through good or through bad, whether we had good and bad came to us, or we had bad and good came to us, whatever it is, be grateful to Allah Subhana Allah to Allah and show thankfulness to him and continue to do good deeds, don't let it get to you continue to do good deeds, then the loss of penalties and transitions now we're going to, you know, sort of breeze through this, okay, we're not even going to go through that is because there's so many things here to cover in this tool. wa Taala, had, they started to worship, you know, the statues were the items that were there of the pious people, you know, the the pious that were from their forefathers, right, who became who were really pious and righteous people. And what happened, we see, you know, in a nutshell, is that the people started to remember or wanted to remember them, and their piety, so that they can also worship like they used to worship. And so over some time, shaytaan, you know, whispered and affected them, and told them, you should, you should make statues out of out of these people, so that you can remember them, and the statues were outside and then shaped them continues to whisper to the people

and encourage them, you know, bring those statues inside the places of worship, so that when you do come in, you'll see them and then you go and you worship. And so you'll be reminded of the piety of those people when you are about to begin your, your worship.

And then over time, shavonne started to affect them and started to you know, in, encourage them to take those statues from the back of the place of worship and move it to the front.

Move it to the front, so that when you're standing in worship, you'll be able to see the statues of those pious righteous people who had already passed away, you'll see those statues and you will be encouraged in a bad way. And what happened over time was that people started to worship those idols right, they started to commit shift. And so the story of no hiding his setup is so important because it was the very first time that people started to that human beings on the face of this earth. They started to worship other than a loss of Hannibal, what to add, and so

nobody has sent him you know, he has his discussions with his people. And then he prepares for the for the punishment right to come from Allah subhana wa tada which was the flood and Allah subhana wa tada mentions that you know, water was gushing from the earth like it was coming out of the oven, you know, when you open the oven, and it's on like 400 504 150 degrees, and you know, it's nice and hot and you have this beautiful lasagna that's baking in there or you have a nice roast beef, or you have I don't know what chicken that's roasting in there, whatever it is that you have this beautifully roasting inside of, you know your oven, you open the oven door, what happens? This heat

just gushes out and it's like wow Subhana Allah. So Allah Subhana Allah mentions how the water gushes from the earth like like from the ovens of the earth, right? It's just gushing out just coming out like the heat comes out of the oven.

But no honey has sent him he prepares this arc right he prepares the ship

preparing for the punishment of a lot in front of the people. So it's like here I'm building the ship Why are you building the ship because the punishment is coming and this is what's going to save us right? So is anyone having any issues hearing me because someone Someone is mentioning that it's hard to hear but if you're having a difficult time hearing let me know I am not doing anything different than I usually do. So it should be fine inshallah maybe just turn up the volume a little bit or plug in external speakers or use headphones All right.

so know how to his sent him he's preparing for the punishment right in front of the people. Now you can imagine you you go outside, you're washing your car people passing by, they're like, oh, what's going on? You know, you

Just wash your car like two days ago, I'm getting ready for like someone's wedding gonna go to someone's wedding car has to look nice. Or you know, you cleaning up your home. And so kind of while you're making sure that it looks good, why? Because your parents preparing for guests to come over. Now here's no Holly has sent him. He's building this ship this arc in front of people. And they're passing by wondering, what are you doing? Why are you doing this? And they think this guy's crazy. He's not even a carpenter. Why is he building this massive ship? There's no water around here. Why is he doing that? And so he's preparing for the punishment of a loss of Hannah Montana that will

come to the people. And here's a clear sign, hey, you're asking him about it. Why are you doing it? Well, the punishment is coming. And I've warned you, and the punishment will come to you. It was about five six minutes long. It was so beautiful. So hello so high and everyone else talks about you know, you got to go to Pakistan kaitou right, the second highest peak in the world. Or you look at you know, Everest how high it is just mountain you know, mountains

piercing this guy. And I've seen I've seen the mountains from from above as well. I've flown over the Swiss Alps multiple times I've actually gone to Switzerland, and when you see the mountains there is just absolutely amazing. And here Allah Subhana Allah shows us in the story of Nevada, his sentiment that the mountains

and sorry that the waves are so high, like mountains. And so this arc is like, you know, the ship itself where's where's my missile, I miss work has come in very handy, this sort of a bomb, right? So the ship is like crashing and slowing is like

being like, sent all over the place. But it's withstanding all of that. And so no hana has sent him you know, he prepares for this, he gets a pair of every one of the creation as in whenever he's able to, from the creation of a lesser penalty to handle all of the animals a male and a female of the animals, put them all in there. And then you know, the

dog is mentioned, right that Bismillah imaginary her will notice in a beautiful photo of Rahim and this is why we say this drawing when we're traveling over water, or we're in a boat, or we're crossing a bridge, we say this a lot. You know, make this vessel that we're traveling in to go wherever you please write in your name, it is traveling with the help of Allah Subhana Allah with the command of Allah subhana wa Tada. And we can say this when we get into our car as well, if you're getting into a car and you're driving Bismillah imagine they have over Sangha in Nabila.

right because the car we're not in control of it, we are holding the steering wheel, but we're not fully in truly in control. And this is really interesting thing that mechanics know of that a lot of people don't know us right. Back in the day, we had a rack and pinion, which was the steering wheel attached from the middle of it to a rod that goes down through the firewall. firewall is basically the wall in front of you where the glass comes in front of the windshields, right? So you have your windshield and the wall in front. So that rod would go through it to another rod, the rack and pinion that connects to the wheels, right? And it turns the wheels left and right. So when you're

driving, if you're turning the wheels, the steering wheel, the wheels will turn. Nowadays, we don't even have that. Okay, so nowadays there's no, there's no rod that goes down from the steering wheel anymore. It's fly by wiring. Okay, so your steering wheel has sensors on it. It's not even connected to the wheels.

And so some pedal when you turn your steering wheel, there's a signal that is sent through, it's not direct, it's a signal, there's a disconnect, and it's sent to the wheels to let the wheels know where to turn. Well, one day, you might turn that steering wheel right, and it doesn't go anywhere.

We asked the boss to save and protect us all. But hopefully we are not driving or moving. But we're saying that that could happen where you turn your steering wheel one day, and the wheels don't turn because it's not a direct link anymore. And so I really think with a loss of hanway talent needs to be stronger. Okay, our link with a lot if the sensors fail and we turn right a lot can still make the cargo right in fact, we

can be turning right and the law makes it go left because that is the better route for us. And so the link that we have with a loss of handling data needs to be stronger than the fly by wiring, right needs to be even more powerful, even more, you know, connected and tight knit with a loss of hanway data so that anything that we go through in our lives, any hardship that we are that we are going to face in the future, or we're facing right now, Allah subhana wa tada will get us out of it. Why? Because of our connection with Allah subhanho wa Taala Adam, you know, so many people can tell you stories of their lives and things that they thought, you know, they would never get through,

they would never be able to succeed with or, you know, they shouldn't even be here. Some people will tell you stories about how they shouldn't even be here, right? They've gone through things where it was life changing. And Allah subhana wa, tada kept them here. Who was it that did that? Allah subhana wa, what's ahead. So in the story of no holiday has sent him

he prepares for this punishment, he loads the ship. And as the ship is going through the waves in the water, he sees his son and he tells his son, you know what, believe and get on, right? Just come on board. Just come this is what's going to save you. There's nothing that will save you today. Right now, assuming you know, there's nothing that's going to save you today. What did he say? He says, we you know, Jebin I'm going to swim over to that mountain and I'll be safe, don't worry that I'm perfectly fine. Well, you're not going to be fine. Your dad is a prophet of Allah subhana wa tada who called and invited people for 950 years. And out of the 950 years that he invited, that

doesn't mean that he lived 950 years, he lived more than that. for 950 years, he was calling his people to worship only a loss of Hannibal a tad. And in 950 years of inviting people to worship Allah subhana wa Tada. Only approximately 80 people followed knew how to his center. Think of that as like less than 10 people a century,

less than 10 people a century is less than one as well, like one we can say on average one person per 10 years. One person per 10 years of you know, sacrificing, inviting people to a lesser kind of ad. Were we a prophet of Allah subhana wa that is calling his people and they're not listening. Who are we right? We call and we invite and we bring stories and advice. And, you know, we tell we tell people what they're supposed to do. And if they don't listen, they don't listen, what are we supposed to do? It's a muscle kind of with animal guides, at the end of the day, in the color demon, that when our kingdom law, a demon Yeshua, it is not us, who guides the people that we love. Rather,

it is a loss of Hanwha to Hannah, who guides whom He wills

we move on my brothers and sisters. Let's go to verses number 50 to 59 Allah subhana wa tada talks about the story of who would Allah has sent him right Prophethood this surah is titled So what? So Allah Subhana Allah is now talking about who Allah has sent him

to discuss the discussion between hood and his people that people have added and must have had with Allah mentions them as well in order to function. He describes the people have had, you know, modality learning and let them use luck, miserable half will be that they were such great people really strong, powerful people, people of nobility as well. And these people some kind of luck, they thought that they were going to live forever, and nothing would harm them. Right. And they used to build palaces on the tops of the mountains. And they felt you know what, when they retire, they'll go over there and they'll spend eternity over there living on the tops of the mountains, they never

got the chance to even reach those the tops of the mountains and to live in those homes that they lived in because they lived in homes that were carved inside of the mountains as well. And so Allah subhana wa tada shows us that, you know, these people they thought they were invincible undestructible are indestructible and Allah subhana wa tada destroyed them, we move on to actually before we go there.

They told who Allah has sent him, that he brings no evidence for his prophethood he brings no evidence, no evidence of him being a prophet, or of the message being divine, for the claims that he makes right? And they were destroyed for disobeying who Allah has sent him and rejecting his science, then the loss of haddaway data starts the story of Sonic and his setup and his people, the people of the mood, and how you know, they wanted to sign and they said, You know what, this rock, right turn this rock into a camel and a loss of man without it accepted it. But if they did not accept the sign, then they would be destroyed. And so loss of habitat accepted and he granted them

And all the other days, so the opposite days, they would take turns and feeding their animals and feeding that camel, and it was drinking too much of the water. And so they were not too happy with that. And so they, you know, flooded to to kill the camel, then a loss of habitat and transitions versus number 69 to 76. The story of Ibrahim added his setup and how he receives the angels. These three guests right Albus pan with Addison's guests to Ibrahim Allah His center and

they're the angels of a loss of Hannah what Anna

and Ibrahim Allah has sent him when he receives these angels. He treats them like guests, because at that point in time, he doesn't think that they are angels. He doesn't know that they're angels. They're three travelers and so he welcomes them into his home. And he has a calf you know, sacrificed and he hasn't roasted for these guests. Even though he might have his setup as a generous person. He's he's treating his guests right. That's the way we're taught to to do things, right. Someone comes to our home, we open up, open the house out in the debate, right, open up the treasures of the home and you give people you have cookies, you are saving for yourself, give it to

the people you have chips, you are saving to yourself, give it to the people, you have dates and food and meat and rice and stuff like that. Give it to the people, right, be generous. And the more generous We are the more generous Allah Subhana Allah will be with us. And so when I came out of his Senate, he has this calf sacrificed and presented to the guests.

And the guests refuse to eat. And so he knows right away, either these guests are there to harm him. Or they're there for another purpose. There are angels sent from Allah subhana wa Tana, and they're not there to eat. They're there to deliver a message. And so he receives the message, right, they don't eat, and he becomes concerned. And they let him know, they reassure him, don't worry, you're safe, everything is fine. And they informed him they didn't come here for him. They came to inform him that they were on their way to meet loot Allah has sent him and to destroy the people have looked at it his turn.

And at that point in time

when when the wife of Ibrahim alayhis salaam heard that she began to to chuckle right and it says, you know, in the Quran, the word is used like she smiled or she left. And the reason why she did that is because she knew that Luca alayhis salaam was warning his people and had warned them like any Prophet would do. You know, warning. If you don't obey Allah subhana wa tada and follow his command, then a punishment would would come to you. So she was like, see, and they thought they can get away with it. Right? So she sort of chuckled right? Not laughing at them. But you know, just expressing herself like, they were warned, right? They were warned. Then Allah subhanho wa Taala

that shows us how they informed them of having a child that Ibrahim Allah has sent him would finally become a father and you know, with his wife, they would have his half at his center.

But it was only his son was concerned. And he told them he reminded the angels He's like, Wait a second, you know, amongst the people of loot his loot himself like he's there. So just be careful you're going to destroy the people but don't destroy loot. Right so Ibrahim Allah has sent him he felt the need to inform them that from amongst the people of lutes Nation, his loot alayhis salam himself and they reassured him Don't worry, you know he will be safe.

Versus number

one Allah Allah subhanho wa Taala continues on and I can't go through every single story because we'll see some of this later on as well. But Allah subhana wa tada then talks about prophet loot Allah, his senem and how they went over

So there's a lot that's mentioned and so on, but we got to get into sort of use of because today's session is the 12 jurors, and half of it is sort of food and the other half is the beginning of surah Yusuf and so we now begin another story but in another chapter, right so use

And so for those that are able to learn some Arabic, I would encourage you, you know, make that a task, that you are one of the goals that you have in life in life in life,

to learn the Arabic language, right, that Allah Subhana, Allah says, I'm gonna put sonic x and cos

we relate to you, oh, prophets, the best of stories through our revelation of the end, though, before this, you were totally unaware of them. This is powerful, because first of all, loss of hundreds dimensions, the best of stories. And so whatever movie is out there, whatever, Harry Potter, this, and that whatever you're going to read, might seem interesting to you. But it's not the best story. The best stories are those that are found within the poor end. And so we need to continue to learn and to recite the poor and, and to learn the stories of God. And because there's such powerful stories for us, and there's a lot of meaning behind it, not just meaning of, you know,

things that we just learn and enjoy and be like, Oh, yeah, that was great entertainment, no importance for us to live our lives in a way that is going to be beneficial for us in the people that are around us, in this life and in the Hereafter. So he says, you know, this is the best of stories, through our revelation of this for those, though, before this, you were totally unaware. So the other thing that must have happened with Hana mentions is there are stories and things that are mentioned in the Quran that human beings did not know of, prior to them being revealed.

Then from verses number 12 to 18, Allah subhana wa tada shows us, you know, the the brothers, they request from their father for us to come with them, so that they can take him out and enjoy some time with him and allow him to play and they're going to go in the wilderness and play and be free and stuff like that. But use of Allah has sent him, you know, he's young and his father, he hesitates a little bit. And it shows us here family, and how important it is to stick together as family and to not hold grudges against one another because that can divide the family so much. And use of it his son, um, you know, he was a young boy, and

their, his his sons, they requested for us to have to go with them. And so he allowed it, he granted it, but he told them, You know what, you got to bring him back and make sure that, you know, nothing happens to him. He's not harmed out there. So one of them said,

you know, when when they decided to take use of Let's kill him. And then one of the older ones, he said, No, let's not kill him. Let's put them in the bottom of a well, and leave him there. And then maybe some passer buys right people that are passing by, they'll see use of any headset and they'll see him and they'll take him and he'll be safe, so at least we won't kill him, but he will be safe. And from here, all the way to the end of the surah, we see the patience of use of adding his son and being tested by how patient he actually is

like he doesn't give into it. And so he doesn't argue he doesn't complain, he knows that if he's found, he'll be taken care of he'll be looked after. And, you know, he technically is the property of whoever finds him. And so he goes along with it.
