Assalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh Alhamdulillah he robola alameen wa Salatu was Salam ala rasulillah al Karim, while early he was happy Germain, probably strategy surgery where silly Omri watlow okidata melissani? Yes, tahu. Totally. My beloved brothers and sisters. Again, it's an honor and a pleasure for me to be with you with another live webinar on a very crucial topic. And that is decision making in an Islamic perspective.
Again, we thank Allah Subhana huhtala As always, and praise him for his extreme kindness and support in all our matters. And we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to bless each one of us in our lives, and also in the Hereafter, amin Yara but I mean, my beloved brothers and sisters, the topic decision making is something which is so crucial, so significant, that there is not a single day that we don't take decisions. Subhan Allah
Many times we take decisions without even, you know, our thinking many times we take decisions after thinking and many times we are reactive in our decisions. Many times, situationally, we take decisions. So, the fact of the matter is, we do get engaged in the process of decision making every day meaning it is every day's affair, every single day, we get into a position where we have to take certain decisions. Now, what is decision making? To begin with, it is actually a process of making choices by identifying a decision gathering information and alternatives and resolutions, and trying to make one particular choice. When human beings, my beloved brothers and sisters, like the like the
jinn, like the Djinn, creation, we have been given freedom, we have been given options and choices in our lives.
Subhan Allah, that is the reason we need to understand and realize that our choices, our options, our decisions, must be in favor of us and not against us, of course, not at the expense of harming others, for sure. Because many times, some people they take decision, which is good for them, but not for others. So we're not talking those kind of, you know, ways of making decisions, but we're talking that we are responsible for our own life. And so as decision making for our lives, so how to love, we need to understand at the moment, my beloved brothers and sisters, the importance of decision making, you know, Subhanallah, as I said, many times we don't even think and we take
decisions, and many times we are very reactive in our decisions. So why is it important for us to make Decisions, decisions, which are effective, and decisions which are efficient, which means which gives us the outcome, the conclusion better for our lives. Now, the first reason why it is important to make right decisions is number one, we want to be successful and productive in our lives as muslimeen as believers in Allah subhanaw taala we want to be productive, we want to be successful. In order for us to be productive and successful, it is essential that we make right decisions, because one wrong decision can actually keep you away from the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala and
keep you away from the element of success and keep keep you away from productivity in your life. So it's very, very important for us to lead a successful a productive life, we have to make right decisions. That's number one. Number two, as I said, we all are accountable for our own actions, and part of actions is our own decisions, the decisions that we make, we are going to be held accountable for that. So that is the reason we need to be very careful. We need to be very clear in what we decide for ourselves, because we are going to be accountable in the hereafter Subhana Allah in this life, there are only actions, actions and actions, there are no accounts, but in the
Hereafter, there'll be only accounts, accounts and accounts and no actions because a person would plead to a lot of Bonanza, give me one chance and I'll go back and ask and make dua and pray and c'est la ilaha illa Allah, but you will not be given any chance. So in this life, there are actions so a part of actions a part of positive action should be we need to be mindful, because we will be accountable for our decision. So we need to really talk about it. That is why it is important. Number three, my beloved brothers and sisters in order to save our time, our efforts, our resources, it's really important to make right decisions somehow
Allah that is why it is really important to know about it. Number four, we also need to understand that when we take right decisions, we will be contained in our lives. That is why it is also very, very important and supine Allah as I said, it's the need of our everyday life, we need to master the power of decision making. So these are some of the reasons why it is really important to make decisions to make right effective and efficient decisions in sha Allah in our lives. Also, we need to know what are the common mistakes that we do in the process of decision making. Number one,
we actually try to gather too much of information. When we take decisions. You see, obviously, we need to gather facts, we need to really study about the matter. But too much of information also leads us to confusion. And that's the reason we say don't go in extremes in any matter of your life. So number one, too much of information actually spoils our decision making. Number two, we need to understand that there is no concept that we become absolutely perfect in our lives, meaning sometimes our decisions might go wrong, sometimes it is not appropriate. Sometimes it is not, as we expect. So what we need to understand that no one is perfect. No one is Mr. Perfect, and no one is
Miss perfect. We need to accept our shortcomings. And that's the reason. Ultimately, we rely on the one who is perfect and powerful. And that is Allah subhanho wa Taala. So we don't have to expect too much from our own lives as well. Number three, too much of people's involvement. Yes, it's very important to actually involve and engage people in the process of making decisions, but too much of involvement, too much of wrongly people involved, you know, that actually, again, is a common mistake that we need to be mindful about. Number four, we need to understand that the the feeling of doubtful after taking decision is also a very common mistake that is found in our lives. And number
five, which is very, very important is sometimes we actually become overconfident in the process of making decisions. And that's, again, a very common mistake that we find in our lives. So, these are some of the common mistakes that we need to be mindful about. And we need to avoid those mistakes. Let us talk about the times and situations Subhanallah the times in situations where we do not have to take decision. So a part of learning about or mastering the decision making is also to understand that there are certain times there are certain situations where we do not have to, you know, make decisions Subhan Allah, what are the number one, when you're too angry, don't take decision, do not
take decisions when you are too angry. Because when you're angry, you actually lose your control on your mind, and your emotions will be driven, you know, over you and you will not be able to take appropriate decisions. And that is the reason people are in the state of anger, they take decisions, one decision and they regret the entire life. SubhanAllah. So we need to be really careful that when we are angry, just relax, just calm down, take time and don't take decisions at that situation. So number one to angry, don't take decisions. Number two, when you're too hungry as well, you know, Subhanallah when you're too hungry, you'll not be able to concentrate. And I'm not saying that you
should be overwhelmed Lee fed in order to take decision that's not what I mean. But in order to ensure that you take proper wise decisions, which are productive and insha Allah potential for your growth, you need to be away from this situation where you're too hungry, and you take a decision that's again, not an appropriate situation to take decision number three when you're too happy as well. You see when we said to angry you don't take decision when you're too happy. you utter words, which you perhaps not even thought of. It comes out because of that emotional again happiness drive and you take a decision, but later on you say oh wow
I should have done that. Why? Because you were extremely happy. So you could not resist your situation. As a result, you lose control, and you take a decision, which you're actually not willing to take. So we said to angry, you know, to hungry, and you are when you're too happy, don't take decision number four, when you're too much in pressure, when your stress when your stress and stress could be of any kind, when your stress, don't take decisions, do not take decisions. When you are under pressure. There are lots of situations. And there are a lot of times that could be very counterproductive, instead of being productive, and you're taking decisions, while you are under
extreme pressure. Number five, when you're too much in emotions, you know, your emotions are too much. When you see there are there's a there is a storm of emotions in your life. Avoid taking decisions in those times and situations. Also, when you're not clear about a thing, a matter a point, don't take decisions. One of the important way to understand is when not to take decision is when you are not very clear about it. So obviously we'll talk about the tips and strategies how you can actually you don't make a decision step by step approach insha Allah in few moments, but we also need to know when not to take decisions in our life. So when you're not clear about a thing about a
matter about a situation, don't take decision, because that is many times, you know, you will face regret in your life.
Also, we need to understand that too much of hurry as well is counterproductive in decision making. You know, you want to take decision very quickly without even thinking proper. And I do not mean that you don't have to think and you don't have to take you know swiftly your decisions, what I mean is without even thinking you take a decision in a hurry. And that becomes you know, problematic many times, it does not give you the result that you are aiming for. So, these are the situations My beloved brothers and sisters and these these are the times these are the states that you have to be very, very careful and mindful of not taking decisions in sha Allah in your life. Now, what we need
to realize is we have to understand certain deciding factors, this is very, very important and interesting as well. What are the deciding factors in our lives? You know, Subhan Allah we have, we have been engaging in in lot of decision making process. But have you take a moment, sat down all by yourself, and thought, when you take any decision of your life, or of your beloved ones, what are those fundamental criterias that that set of standards that you kept as a foundation to take a decision? What are those factors that you need to know that you can never compromise when taking decisions? What are those factors you and I have to know because we are Muslims, meaning we have
submitted ourselves to Allah subhanho wa Taala we are God or Allah driven people, we need to understand that our lives, our actions, our decisions should be in line with what Allah subhanho wa Taala you know, means for us Subhana Allah. So we need to know what are the deciding factors? What are those set of standards that we need to keep as a foundation as a principle, while taking decisions? Number one, whenever we take a decision, we need to think and ask ourselves, if I take this decision, will Allah be pleased with me or displeased with me? If I evaluate myself and ask an answer myself, that when I take this decision, Allah will be pleased with me, then go ahead. That's
the first signal or a standard for you to pursue and move forward in that decision. But if you know that, the first and the fundamental thing, when you take a decision and ally is not happy with you then understand that's not going to be good for you. That's not at all meeting the principles of your life. For sure.
So period, you just dropped that decision because that draws the displeasure of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So, in short, keep Allah in your side when you're taking decisions. That's number one. Number two, understand that the Prophet ik way is the most supreme way when you take decision, so, try to find out examples, illustrations, case studies, incidents, anecdotes, Ways and Means where the profits of the learner isn't gone through in a similar situation and he took this decision in that way. So, when you follow the path of successful ones, who took the best decisions of their lives, obviously, you will be in the safe zone, right. So, you need to understand it should be in line with
the profitec you know, way, number three, they should not be any clash for your era, when you take a decision meaning when you take a decision in this world in this dunya for this dunya you should always have that that imagination of of stretching yourself, you know, way till the era and see that if I take a decision, you know, now, does it cost to lose any portion of my O'Hara If yes, then drop that decision
and move forward in another direction. So as long as it is it complies, these are like set of compliance rules, you know, that you need to keep in mind. Number four, understand that when you take a decision, it should not be harmful to you. It should not be harmful to you in this dunya because many times people become a lot of you know,
a mode of gullible nature. You know, they become so docile and they try to you know, ruin themselves in this world. That's not allowed in Islam, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said, la Bharara one out there are, don't harm others, neither be harmed by others. So you don't, you know, lose yourself, neither you lose others in terms of harming people, so you don't harm yourself. So make sure that decision that you're taking, it does not harm you, insha Allah number five, which is the last set of compliance, while making the decisions as a standard factor is you need to understand that your decision should not harm others as well. You know, as I said, you should not
harm yourself neither harm others as well. Because many times, sometimes, you know, you take a decision. And that decision is very, very good and favorable favorable to you. But it also costs others damage. That's not wise. That's not the beautiful pattern of conduct that we see in the life of Prophet sallallahu sallam. Now, at this juncture, you might have the question, you know, if I take a wise right decision, still people are being harmed? Well, that's not I mean, people might not like your decisions and they themselves are harming because of their own prejudice mindset. Because of their own problems, you do not have to intentionally do something which harms others, as long as
you are in line with these compliance and these principles and these rules, insha Allah, my beloved brothers and sisters, you will be you will be able to empower your decision making be a vanilla E to Allah. Now, let us move forward towards the most important aspect of this presentation. Now, I've said so much about decision making, what is decision making, you know, what is the importance of decision making some of the common mistakes that we do in decision making, what are those times in situations where we do not have to take decisions and we also talked about some of the important deciding factors, certain set of compliance and rules where we have to, you know, keep in mind while
we take any and every decision now, we know in lives in in our lives, we have to take so many decisions, you know, be it small, be it vague, be it daily, be it you know, frequently bit a once a while, we all get into a point where we have to decide certain things in our lives. And it could be as simple as you know, knowing full well about, you know, eating, drinking and anything for that matter. You need to be very decisive. So first, we need to understand about the tips about the steps about the strategies of decision making is number one, number one, you have to
Make sure you have to make sure that you identify the decision, meaning you identified the goal and the matter what is it that you are trying to, to, you know, achieve by taking this decision? What is the goal of your decision making, identify that at the first place, and identify that matter, so that, you know, what are you going to decide about, if you are not clear at that juncture, at that position, fundamentally, your steps will not be productive. In fact, it may, you know, avert you from that which is good. So, number one, identify your goal and your matter about decision that you're going to take number two, think. Now, let's take a moment on this point of thinking before
doing or thinking before acting, you know, as the English saying goes, think like a man of action, and act like a man of thought. In Islam, we Alhamdulillah are rewarded with both of those things. Thinking is also being rewarded the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said enamel Armando Binney yard, the actions are dependent on your intention. So for example, when you think about making a decision of going for Hajj, for example, you will be your reward will be started and you will be rewarded in sha Allah by Allah subhanho wa Taala, based on that thinking, as long as that thinking is sincere, and practical, insha Allah. So obviously, we need to understand when we involve
in the point of thinking, we need to be very, very decisive, or Muslim, cannot live a life, which is undecisive. A Muslim is wise and decisive, meaning he knows that he has to take decisions, he knows that he has to think before taking those decisions. It doesn't matter how small the thing is, for example, the moment you wake up in the morning, you decide to resign to the DA, right, you decide to recite the dua.
And that is the first decision that you took you decide in the morning, what are you going to do in the entire day, unfortunately, our lives pass by without planning and planning is something which is, you know, directly related with your thinking. And this is really essential for decision making. Most of us they don't know, what are they going to do next hour, in the afternoon, in the evening, in the night, tomorrow, after a week, after a month, after six months, after the year, after five years, we do not have that perspective in our mind. And this should be there in our minds in order to be decisive. So when you're decisive, you know exactly what you're doing. Why? Because you're
thinking, for example, when you're eating, you know, among in your in front of you there are so many dishes, you have to decide which one to take and why and why. So, for example, when you get into this mode of thinking, you know, involving your heart, not just the mind, you know, what is good for you what is not good for you. So you go ahead with that, you know, mindset and that empowers your decision making. So make sure thinking is mandatory when you take decision and thinking involves your brainstorming your you know, you know introspection, your, your thought process, all of it Subhanallah So, number one, identify the matter or the goal of that decision number two, thinking
number three, research, study about the matter that you are going to take decision study research about the matter what you're going to you know, engage in involving so Subhanallah for example, as we take decisions like for example, you know, job or career, study, research, do your part, do your part. Your part is to ensure that you engage in study and research very low Val you know researched decision
are always productive, you know, in our lives. So Subhana Allah research and study about the matter very well, well thought, well researched, well studied decisions are way superior than those decisions, which are not, you know, taken, you know, in proper consideration. So, for example,
decisions of choosing a career destination of choosing a job or a business as a career, what are the things that you need to research and study about that sealed itself and not? And then you need to make sure that the thing that you're trying to build your career on? Is it halaal? Or is it her? That's the fundamental thing that you need to keep in mind? Is it permissible or it is prohibited? What is it? Is it something which is permissible for you by Allah and His messenger? Or is it not, so, if the things are not permissible, you do not have to pursue that career at all. So, when it comes to Korea, you need to see, number one, whether it is halal or haram. Number two, you need to
also ensure that, you know, something which is pleasing to Allah and not pleasing to Allah Subhana huhtala. So, you need to understand the fact of the matter is that you're one step of that career can actually bring you closer to Allah subhanaw taala, or draw you away from Allah subhanaw taala choosing a spouse, for example, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam part of your research as a part of your own study about that decision spouse, which is, again, the crux of the society, a very crucial decision that you and I have to take, when we get engaged into this affair of starting a marital life, you need to understand that the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam said, there are four
criterias that you need to keep in mind, there are four, you know, things that you need to keep in mind while you go ahead for marriage. So number one, you need to see in spouse, the beauty, you need to see the the, the the wealth of that of that person, you need to see the lineage, the family status of that spouse, you need to see the virtue and give preference to virtue and you will be happy and Subhanallah what how do we know about it, when we research about it, when we study about this matter. So in a similar way, we need to understand that we have to engage into decisions and meet to make sure that we research and we study, beat job or career beat marriage beat, you know,
forgiving others. And I want you to take a moment, my beloved brothers and sisters, I want you to take a moment just few seconds and decide, decide somehow Subhan Allah to forgive everyone who has harmed you, who has harmed you this decision is taken. Why? Because Allah subhanaw taala forgives those who forgive others, a lot of Blairism, He forgive those who forgive others. So obviously I want to be forgiven by Allah. So as a result, I have to forgive others. And I know the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, a lot of realizar will provide a palace in the surroundings of Jannah those who forgive others. So why don't I take this decision? Now at this moment, because this
is a well thought, well processed, divine placement of this decision that I if I forgive, I will be forgiven. If I forgive, I will be given a palace in the surroundings of Jenna, why don't I take this decision. So take a decision and forgive others will lie you will feel by taking this decision, you will be relaxed, you will be calm, you will feel that there is a burden that has gone away. Why? Because you have actually harmed yourself by not forgiving others nobody is going to suffer except you at the first instance My beloved brothers and sisters decisions like to carry on with a spouse with a partner. When you carry on your life with a spouse you have to take a decision you have to
study and research if I want to carry my life with this person, you know what is good and bad, if the good over always the bad and of course I have to compromise. I have to know that no one is perfect. And so do I. So I have to move on in my life. So in this way you actually do what you make sure that you research and you study. You know sometimes we need to take as a decision to break up to break up
Yes, sometimes, you know, a moment comes in your life where you see that the bad overweight is big time because, you know, injuring yourself, harming yourself at the expense of the happiness of others is also not allowed, as you know, don't be unjust to yourself, my beloved brothers and my beloved sisters, we need to ensure that we at times, let it go from the relationship, you know, because that decision explains and gives you freedom to live in a peaceful way. So, these are some of the you know, ways that you actually have to study and research yourself while making a decision Be it business, be it investment, be it relationship, for that matter, insha Allah, then of course,
so number one, identify the goal or the matter of that decision. Number two, you know, think about that that matter. Number three, research and give good time to study about that matter. Number four, consult the loved ones, you know, Allah subhanho wa Taala. He says in the Quran, in Surah, Allah Emraan surah number three is number 159. Allah subhanho wa Taala is instructing the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the first instance and by an extension, it is an instruction for all of us. What is the instruction? The instruction is a lot of theories, he says, and consulted them in affairs. What shall we do to whom so a lot of diseases were shot with them. Take their Shura take
their advice and the Arabic word of Shura is counsel, advice and SubhanAllah. When you see the whole process of decision making, to empower it, you need to take advice you have to because you and I are not completely perfect to panela. So we need to supplement and seek support from people. And that is the reason when a lot of galerija is teaching prophets, Allah Islam and Michelle widow whom, you know, consult them in the affairs console to console the Sahaba or the Allahu anhu. Marine, the prophets of Islam is being commanded to consult the Sahaba the companions of the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam. So obviously the one who is divinely instructed by Allah, the prophet of Allah, the
Messenger of Allah, he has been instructed to consult the Sahaba. So obviously, we need to also consult the people in our lives and Subhanallah the the value, the importance of Shura can also be contemplated by knowing that a lot of Villa Riza, he revealed the entire surah entitled, assured assura assura means Council, consultation, and Subhanallah we also have to be mindful, and be very clear. When it comes to consultation. Again, one of the common mistakes, as I indicated at the beginning, is we consult to those who are not specialists, we consult to those who are not very positive people. So we need to know who to consult. This is also very key guidelines that we need to
be mindful about. So the criteria of Sure, and I must say, My beloved brothers and sisters, we need to have every one of us we need to have an advisory board in our lives for all our personal decisions to make. Eye and you every one of us, we need an advisory board and this advisory board must have certain criterias What are those criterias number one, they should be Allah conscious. So if I have certain people, if I have a matter if I have a thing to decide, so where do I go, I go to that person. I go to those people who are number one Allah conscious, they have Taqwa for a lot of good reason. They fear about the punishment of Allah, and if they love Allah, and as a result, they
care for you. So they give their consultation they give their advice, not to seek any worldly means, but to sincerely help you find those people and I'm sure we all are blessed with certain people. So Allah conscious number one, number two good doers. They are mercy mean they love to give advice and don't expect anything in Nigeria, Illa and Allah, their reward is rest with Allah subhanho wa Taala
consulted those people, number three well wishes and they are mostly among the known circles among your family, among your friends, among your wealth wishes, find those people who wish well for you in sha Allah, number four positive people, those people who wants to grow you not break you, not puts you down, but in fact they want to grow you. So find those people who are positive number five, he should be or she should be expert in that field. Don't ask about the construction to a medical doctor, if he has no expertise of that and don't ask about how to you know, building build a building to a doctor, for example. So, so, these things have to be very clear in our minds that we
need to ask an expert of that field because we can take advantage of their experience, their knowledge, their, their, their exposure in their own lives and from their wisdom, in fact, so one good you know, advice can actually grow you inshallah, so criterias for taking shuara for taking advice. Number one, Allah conscious number two, you should be a good Dewar number three, he should have a well, he should be a well wisher. Number four, he should be positive mindset. Number five, he should be an expert in that particular field. And this is how you actually process your consultation and you exercise this, you know in in your affairs insha Allah number five, my beloved brothers and
sisters, so we said, identify your goal and matter number two, we talked about think about that matter number four, number three, we talked about the research and study the about the matter. Number four, we said consult the matter with others consult others seek others advice as well. And my beloved brothers and sisters, we also need to realize that we have to make sure that we we consult the one in only who is absolutely powerful, who is the one who has control over all things and that is Allah subhanho wa Taala we need to ensure that we consult him the most and that is the reason the concept of istikhara Salatu is the Hara is so powerful, is so important that the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to teach the Sahaba about Salah is the Hara the way used to teach them the surah of the Quran
Subhana Allah, that is how important it is. And I want to ask myself and you How much do we exercise this way? Why we make any decision. You see Subhana Allah, Salah to list the Hara is something which is so simple, and yet very powerful. So you pray to Noah filled Raka with an intention to you know, seek the guidance from Allah subhanho wa Taala. And once you're done with with a prayer, you actually make a supplication, you make a supplication and I am sure many of you will be familiar with the spell vd with this application. And when you actually read the meanings of it, each phrase of this da, this is a drought, and it's the Hara. So when you actually contemplate on it, you will
model it, you will see the supremacy of Allah subhanaw taala in the weakness of the of yours and mine, we are weak no matter no matter how much experience knowledge, wisdom, exposure, skill set we have, we will never be able to be successful with this. We need to get guidance from Allah subhanho wa Taala. So the Diwan of Sahara is so beautiful and so powerful and I encourage and I advise you to, to memorize it. Let's ponder it together. A lot of Syriza II in you know, he gave all these injunctions through the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam for us to grow in life and develop and succeed for dunya will akhira in this world and the Hereafter, the DA is taharah is Allahumma inni
esta heruka bl MC. So the first thing that we ask Allah to give us guidance, give us guidance to Panama is the harder it comes from that higher, you know, what are you seeking for? you're seeking for hair, you're seeking for goodness, you're seeking for something that is good, so sutala you are asking Allah Allah in the past
heruka bl MC was stuck at zero carb the quadratic was coming Fonseka as in for inaka to deal
with Dynamo Allah Allah. Allah Allah.
Allah.
Allah mu n has an AMA when you say how the lambda you are supposed to think about that matter which you're going to decide about. And then the profits will allow us who taught us hi reefy Dini, why my arshi wa t Bertie Omri Sakura who Li y Acero who Li some robotically fee we're in could We're in koonta Alamo. And again, you think about that matter, shallowly Fie Dini. wama Ashi what are the but the armory first riff who I need was riff neon who walked through real hierarchy, hey Sue can assume out of the Navy. So Subhanallah you are trying to seek the powerful from the powerful one, the guidance, what are you asking? When you reflect on the meaning of this dua? We say Oh Allah, I seek
the counsel of your knowledge and we know the knowledge of Allah is Allah alim entirely and completely and absolutely knowing Subhan Allah, so Allah, I seek the counsel, the advise
of your knowledge, and I seek the help of your power, you know, a lot of women Riza is the one who is extremely powerful in Allah Allah coalition. padeen, Allah subhanaw taala has power over all things. So when are you going back to you're going back to the one who is all knowledgeable, and you're going back to the one who is all powerful? In other words, you are actually declaring your weakness. I'm not knowledgeable, I could collect certain facts. Yes, indeed. But I'm not completely knowledgeable. I'm not completely wise, I'm not completely powerful, about the situation about the decision that I want to make. So I came to you, your Allah, I seek the guidance from you from your
knowledge. And in the end, I seek help from you your power, and I beseech you for for your magnificent grace. Grace. So I basically rely, and I submit to a lot of Louisa with all my weaknesses, and I submit with a perception with a mindset that he is the one who is extremely powerful and magnificent, surely, the duar continues, surely you are capable, you are powerful, and I'm not very, very beautiful, right submission, the true submission actually, you knew, you know, and I don't know, you know, and I don't know and you are the Knower of the unseen Allah, Who is the Knower of the unseen or Allah if you know now, look how beautiful way it is put up it is it is
structured, Oh Allah, if you know that this matter. This matter mentioned that matter which you are trying to decide about this matter is good for me in my religion so the first thing we say hi really fee Dini so the number one priority for that decision is your deen is your Islam should be good for your deen well marshy and of course we talk about we include the part of you know the monetary aspect of it the welfare and we say and for my welfare in the life to come and then ordained for me decree for me. What and make it easy for me then bless me in it. So if it's good for me, my dream My Deen my welfare or my well being, then make and put Baraka in it Subhana Allah and bless me with
that. And if you know that this matter is bad for me, in my religion, and in my life, and for my for my obviously for my religion, for my life and for my well being, then let this matter a vote for me, let die for that matter, leave it aside and distance it from me and and Subhanallah ordain for me what is good, whatever it may be in helped me to be content with it. So Subhan Allah, my beloved brothers and sisters, we need to realize that this is something so beautiful and powerful to seek the guidance from Allah subhanaw taala let us make sure that we see guidance from Allah, you know, and as the prophets lesson he said, seek guidance for every matter that you want to submit to Raka
and have this dua and inshallah there will be here and people have the misconception that you need to see a dream and you need to have this and that it's over complicating the matter, it is very simple that you
Ready to rock out with that intention, and pray this da and that's about it. Number five, mobile number six, my beloved brothers and sisters, you need to understand that after doing all of this, decide the matter, take action, take action. So when you actually do all of this, you take action people, they don't take decisions for themselves. Subhan Allah, this is an irony of the matter that the we don't take decision for our lives, understand that it is you to be blamed, it is you to be responsible, it is you to be accountable. So you need to take decision for yourself. Right? So you need to take decisions insha Allah in your life, so decide the matter and take action number six,
you need to consider the consequences. So you need to understand what could be the result outcome of it? And how do you do that by making sure that you try to, you know, evaluate the decision that you make, evaluate the decision that you take and take lessons from it. So sometimes the matter is not very much in favor of you. So you can evaluate that decision and see what are the lessons that you can learn and then take another time decision which might be more better advice for you. And then make sure make sure this is very, very important, my beloved brothers and sisters, make sure that you that you keep trust in Allah after doing all of this, keep pressing on Allah and make dua to
Allah when Riza to make hair for it. Whatever you
decide about half trust in Allah, Allah subhanaw taala says in Surah, Allah Miranda number three and number 160. If Allah helps you, none can overcome you and if he leaves you, who is there to help you. So Allah says, Let the believers put their complete trust in Allah azza wa jal. So we have to believe and trust a lot of memories after taking all these steps and make dua to make that matter. Care for us. Insha Allah, and lastly, my beloved brothers and sisters, we contend and accept faith, accept the the other sector, Allahu Masha, fine. So you have to submit and declare that eventually, the matter could be in favor of you or against you. Right. So a lot of resources in Surah Baqarah
surah number two, a lot of ERISA, he says, there might be a certain thing that is that looks good to you, but it's not good for you. But there are certain things which might appear bad to you, but it's not bad for you, Allah knows and you don't know. So whatever the conclusion is, whatever the outcome is, you need to accept it as a part of fate as a part of destiny and move forward in your lives with that acceptance of that fact. So my beloved brothers and sisters, this is these are some of the tips step strategies of decision making. Insha Allah when we make these things as our standards, our criteria, our ways to move in our lives, inshallah I'm sure a lot of will resolve will guide us
better and make sure that you take you know, consider all these factors and criterias in place. inshallah, I hope and pray that our decisions will go in line with the pleasure of Allah subhanaw taala and will be helpful for us to grow in our lives and also to to succeed in the hereafter as well. We are here with the awana Anil hamdu Lillahi Rabbil aalameen.
Zach allow siren Mubarak allow victory
kondalilla It has been a very beneficial session.
We all would like to thank you, and everyone, for being active participants and Subhanallah the amount of knowledge that we gained from this wonderful session is so tremendous that no doubt, we do face the challenges of taking decisions in our life almost every minute.
So we pray and ask Allah the Almighty to help us take decisions in the perspective of Islam, for our benefit, inshallah.
So may I now ask Shay, if we can kindly take some questions from our beloved brothers and sisters, as we have to take a decision on answering the questions Sharla.
So, I would now like to ask a question that we received from one of our beloved brothers, and he asked how to handle the consequences taken from a wrong decision.
brotherbrother I think I think you've been muted.
yesterday. No, it's fine. Yeah, it's fine. Now.
Can you repeat the question? Yes.
The question is from a brother, how to handle the consequences of taking a wrong decision. Right. Now, there are two ways that you are two options actually, that you actually, you know, can face when you
take a wrong decision. So it one is where you take it positively. The other is where you take it negatively, it's always best to take it positively, because every decision that you take, gives you some or the other learning, it is not necessary, all the time that your decisions are accurate. It's not possible. It's not possible. So it's very important that we learn from our failures. If we don't fail any moment in our lives, we will never be able to realize the fruit of success, the real taste of success are felt and experienced by only those who actually failed at some point in their lives. So it doesn't matter. Yes, I have to, you know, admit that I have failed. And I have to know that I
learned so many things from this failure of mine, and insha, Allah, I will learn from it, and I will do it better next time. So this is how a positive approach of facing the consequences of wrong decisions. No, and the other way is negative, you know, why did I take the decision, I shouldn't have taken the decision. If I took, you know, something else that would have been better, you know, if and buts will always keep you away from constructive growth in your life. So that's not absolutely a desirable approach. In lives, we need to understand we have to take it positively, the beat the consequences, you know, or are with wrong decisions. And SubhanAllah.
You know, if if there are there are two ways to analyze this one way is you actually follow the entire step by step process in taking decisions. And yet you actually see that you have failed, so you have to obviously accept the color of Allah subhanaw taala, because insha Allah, that matter will be good for you, because you did your part. And then you relied on Allah subhanaw taala. The other is you fundamentally have gone wrong, you'd never met these standards, you never, ever exercised these steps and strategies. And now if you're seeing then obviously the other way is also that I did not follow those steps now that I realize that I have to follow these insha Allah I will
follow these. So in either of the way, a positive approach to the consequences of wrong decisions, is always the move the way forward for us to succeed in our lives. Insha Allah
does that collage and I'm sure, I'm sure this has answered the brothers question. And once again, thank you very much for doing so much of knowledge and light, and I'm sure we all would benefit from this. And also those all brothers and sisters who have similar questions or questions which are almost to the gravity of this nature inshallah. Now shares let's go on to the next question from a sister. And apparently the sister asks us how to control stress during decision making.
The way to control stress is to first understand that we all go through stress. Stress is something which is in evitable. Stress is something where every one of us go through and experience it. Now, how do we control stress is to first as I said, don't take decisions when you are stress, how to control it. One of the powerful ways is to make sure that you go and perform Voodoo and pray to Raka and go into Jude, seek the help and support from Allah subhanho wa Taala and ask Allah shed tears to Allah, Allah Riza and pray to Him to release your stress Subhan Allah we are living in a time where we do not even shed a tear from our eyes and we expect our problems
To be removed Subhan Allah, Allah, Allah reiza understand this and mark these words, my beloved brothers and sisters, we need to submit and admit that a lot of Villa Riza is alone the stress reliever,
he is alone the stress reliever, there is no one on the face of the earth, who can relieve your stress if Allah does not will, if Allah does not will, none can relieve your stress. So, what do you do as a wise person, you go back to the one who is the source of peace, who is the one who releases your stress and you plead you make dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala to release your stress. So that's number one. Number two, you say I also Billahi min ash shaytani. regime. Number three, you think about things which are done very good to you focus on the blessings that Allah Buddha had given you. Many times we focus on things which we don't have, instead of focusing on things which we have, and
Subhanallah, a lot of money resides he says, we're going to redo NEMA to Allah He not to sue her. If you and I were to count the favors by a lot of reserve, we will never be able to count and so number three is you need to ensure that you
you number four, you need to ensure that you think about the blessings, when you think about the blessings, when you think about the good things, obviously you will be content, you will be happy, you will be relaxed, you'll be out of stress, inshallah. And finally, you need to be in the company of those people who encourage you will motivate you who think good about you who share that which is good about you inshallah, when you find when you when you focus on these steps, a lot of binaries, I ask Allah to relieve everyone's stress out there from our lives so that we may live a submissive life to Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah insha Allah
once again, Allah siren chef, and we really appreciate your valuable time with all of us and we can see a couple number of questions, inshallah, in the pipeline from both brothers and sisters as well. And if you could kindly permit me to take forward, I would like to please ask you a couple of questions on behalf of them inshallah, so that we always benefit at large inshallah. So, there's our color hair, and once again, so we have a sister asking us, Ghana person make sasara on behalf of someone else.
Right now, when we actually look at the istikhara, the concept of it is you actually seek guidance for your own self. So which means that you, it's your matter, it's your issue, it's your,
you know, point of decision that you want to take. So it's always best to take to do the istikhara for your own point, that does not eliminate the aspect of da by others. So if someone else for example, if the mother, if the father, if the wife or the husband, or the children, if they are praying, you know, to Raka and with an intention to facilitate your matter to, you know, give you the strength and stability in taking that decision, then that's perfectly alright. But that's the Hara. Because it's your matter you need to do for your own self. If they have the point. They have to do it for themselves. Insha Allah and Allah knows best.
Does it love her and Shay? Definitely, that has been a very informative answer. And inshallah I'm sure not only this sister was as a question, but also other brothers and sisters at large, whose questions match the similar style, get their answers from the reply that he gave in sha Allah. Now, I would like to take one more question from a sister, I'm sure would match with also other brothers sisters. And the question is, whether to Raka is enough for a day or continuously we should ask the istikhara for making a decision. Right? That's a very, very important, you know, question. I really appreciate your question for that matter. What we need to realize and understand is, there is no
limit for doing goodness. Right? So you do good as much as you can, you know, because it's the Hara is something which always keeps you connected to Allah subhanho wa Taala. And as I have narrated the dua and
I contemplated I'm sure you will with me with all your heart and mind while I was you know, talking about every phrase of this da, such a powerful da. So, obviously you begin with something which is minimum two, minimum two. And today if you want to do too and then in the evening wanted to, don't fix the time, place and quantities, do as much as you can insha Allah, the more you do it, the more you will benefit it, the more you do it, the more you're seeking the guidance from Allah The more you do it, the more you're submitting to Allah, the more you're submitting to Allah the more you're seeking, or you're becoming the one who deserve the help from Allah subhanho wa Taala The more you
pray and the more you will be empowered in making decisions, because to be honest, there are three inclinations that comes out when we actually perform istikhara The first is the yes inclination the yes feeling so when you actually do all these steps and you pray istikhara you have a good feeling, you know, this matter inshallah is going to be hard for me, it's going to be good for me and I'm sure everyone experiences that right. So, there is a good feeling there is a yes inclination, so the signal is more inclined towards go for it inshallah Go for it, move forward in that so that's this is a yes feeling. The other is no feeling no matter what, how much have you gone into it, you
prayed, you know, 20 times istikhara, you do not get that feeling of attachment to that matter, you're not very much inclined to work towards that decision. So that indicates that that's no, that's a no feeling. So don't go for it inshallah, if when you are not mine, when you're not satisfied with that matter, and there is a middle feeling which is a fear, feeling, fear inclination. So, what is this fear inclination is that you want to take a decision, but you feel you're scared of situation of people of things of consequences. So, you try to you know, hesitate, you try to step back and you try to prevent yourself from taking those decisions, these multiple
regardless of istikhara insha, Allah will help you in that matter will actually make you more powerful. So, you come out of that fear, you come back fear and you actually take that decision. So, those most of the times those fear feelings are actually you know, for right reasons only, so, by making istikhara again and again, inshallah, it will be a fair, it will be a good act to do and you can pursue that Allah knows best.
Just like Allah said, and shift once again and as we see that most of the questions you have addressed Han Allah, may Allah reward you in both the worlds and before we conclude, inshallah, I would like to take one last question from my sister and that show insha Allah address also other brothers sisters who have their questions quite similar to this of this nature inshallah. And the question is, is there any specific time for this for the steadfast Allah
right now, there is no specific time for Salatu esta hora
anything anytime that you feel that you have to take a decision, you need to pray at that time. However, the practice of Sahaba was that they it was their daily routine, it was a part and parcel of their daily routine, they used to pray to Raka of istikhara for the things that they want to you know, go forward in their, in their, in their affairs outside, they used to pray and they used to move forward in their workplaces, in their lives, in their livelihood, in their work, you know spaces. So, the more you you,
you know focus on time, that will also you know, not advisable thing because, from our side, any Riba we cannot fix time, unless it is specified by Allah and His Messenger, we cannot specify the quantity which is not specified by Allah and His Messenger, we cannot specify the plays, unless it is specified by Allah and His messenger. So we from our own whims, we cannot say this is the time that you need to praise the Hara. However, when we actually take it as an extension, there are times of where the Prophet sallallaahu Reiser talked about that there are very highly you know, inspiring times where a lot of Billerica accepts the draws, so perhaps you can, you know, pray in those times
for example, just before the mockery of a you know, before the Maghreb and and the Juma Salah, the timeframe that comes with it, you know, that is again, a very
Powerful time of time, just before you break the fast that is also the time of acceptance of da. So you have to make sure that you don't specify the time you know in your mind, however, make it as a practice and pray as as you want to, you know, make a decision or take a decision in your life in sha Allah, it will be of prayer and you will find this a lot of strength and energy that you will gain through you know, connecting to Allah subhanaw taala because the matter of the factors, Salah itself is it comes from the root word Scylla which means connection link, the more your network is high and strong, the more inshallah you will find the net worth of dunya and akhira insha Allah,
Allah E to Allah, and I really appreciate the time, the effort, the you know, mind that and the heart that you have given me. And I asked Allah subhanaw taala to help us empower our decision making and help us to facilitate and to direct our decisions that pleases Allah subhanho wa Taala and to keep us away and prevent us, stop us and put barriers in between us and the displeasure of Allah subhanho wa Taala salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato
