who has kasha, this person is scholar.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentioned in the other
verse,
Here Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, he tells us
about a group of people.
He spends the night
in sujud,
and also he's standing up much of the
night.
He's fearful of the
akhirah.
And he's also somebody who hopes of the
mercy of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Bilay AAali,
brother says, ask yourself,
how much do we think about the akhir
on a day to day basis? We probably
are more scared of losing our jobs and
we think about that more than we are
about losing out on the akhirah. I used
to get Alec, would be I would I
be wrong on this?
Some of the humum,
the
problems of this dunya are bothering us more
than anything.
Soon as a letter comes through the door,
oh, is this the bailiff? Is this guy
coming to get my you know, we're just
going through stress
all the time. Fearful of somebody to come
and take our what? Worldly pleasures.
How many of us just like when they
wake up in the morning are going to
be from those who are written amongst the
people of the Akhirah
and constantly thinking about the actions that they
do?
It is sufficient
of having kasha of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
with knowledge.
And ignorance that this shows is becoming a
person that is deluded
in this matter.
One time, Imam Shabi rahim hollahu ta'ala,
somebody called out and he said, You Aileen.
Imam Shabi rahim was from the salaf through
3 golden generations.
Someone said, You alimu.
Oh, scholar they said.
So, Imam al Shabaibir Rahmanallahu ta'ala said,
The scholar is only the one who has
khisha by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
And also, you find brothers and sisters,
You
find that
the students of knowledge, they never used to
take knowledge from anybody until when?
Until they knew that this individual was known
with khashya
and also al Khusho.
Later, I'm gonna come on to the meaning
of fiqh and fuqaha.
How you cannot be a fiqh until you
do certain thing and how they overlap.
Because and what I'm gonna mention later go
hand in hand.
Ibrahim Al Naka Ibrahim
again from the tabi a nid said,
If somebody wanted to take knowledge from another
individual,
this mani would look at his salat.
And by the way, sorry, I forgot his
whole khushur. Khushur is, you know, the reverence
that he the reverences that a person has
in his prayer.
They will also look at his salat, his
situation
of his samtihi, where he carried himself,
then they would take from him, then they
would take from this individual.
Now moving on to Bayanoo
Haqihatul Fakhih wal Fuka,
explaining the reality
of who
the are and what fiqh is.

Al Hasan Al Basir,

The real Fakih
who has understanding
of the religion
is
the person who's a zahid in his dunya.
Zahid means somebody who overlooks the worldly pleasures.
Araghi buf al akhira. He has complete desire
for al akhira.
Al basirufi amlidinihi.
Somebody who has insight in the affairs of
his religion.
And somebody who continuously
worships Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is on point
when he comes to his ibadah. You're not
somebody that slacks.
This is why
I remember people used to say this about
our Sheikh Yahil Hajuri. This was something that
became known to a lot of people. Even
somebody in Medina came up to me after
I went to Saudi saying to me, Is
it true? LaSheikh Yahya zakawam is a Sawam?
Someone who stands up in the night.
Even though you find, SubhanAllah,
I remember, Yani, the the the the the
the Masha'ik are really busy after the sun.
Brothers and sisters, they're very very busy.
I remember the Sheikh, he used to teach
4 times a day.
Baadalduhuri,
thumma baadal Asi, thumma baadalmagribi.
People used to come to Mordechai.
And on top of that, he has 4
wives.
Top of that, he has 4 wives. And
he also at that time, I don't know
how many Yaz now, he had 23 kids.
Sheikh wasn't
missing, you know.
So the Sheikh had Mashallah, he had a
lot of kids. I don't know how many
has probably has more now because at that
time still his wives were pregnant.
There
is scholars brothers and sisters
who still spend a lot of time
what
in Ibadat
to take a night away from a woman,
for those who are married, they know it's
a big thing,
especially when you get married to 2.
When you get married to 2,
that lady is not going to allow her
night to get away from her for jokes.
La abidin.
There's a problem.
You're not there for her nights because the
nights get shared out. Right? It's an issue.
Suri shaykh I Ani, SubhanAllah.
I'm I'm not trying to say that he's
an Alim
but but
brothers and sisters the Ulema, they went on
I remember when I went to Kuwait. One
of
the brothers, the brother Imran, he asked the
Sheikh, like, how do you manage between 4
wives
and also teaching and, you know because, you
know, we have to understand brothers that Al
Qala Bilal Alman teaching is one of the
best Ibarah that a person can engage in.
So he said,
get rid of your phone
and you're going to find time.
Ola my brothers and sisters, if you really
look at it, the amount we might spend
on this and how much time it takes
away from us,
how How much time it normally takes away
from us.
So Asha'id Mil Kalami,
It's another great characteristic you need to know.
The alim and the fakhi, they never used
the word used the word used used to
use the word
al fiqh, to call somebody a faqih, except
if that
his knowledge was accompanied with action.
He didn't just talk the talk.
Rather he put his, you know, speech into
implementation.
This is why brothers and sisters, you have
to understand that
especially for a person of knowledge,
a role model,
What might be sunnah for a people, he
makes a wajib upon himself.
Not talking about the technicality
of what is wajib and sunnah, mastahab, mubah,
takleef, al khamsa. I'm not talking about that.
He needs to be extra careful in how
he carries himself.
What the people do, he shouldn't suffice himself.
He should try and do a bit better.
He's someone who's aqawam,
tries to fast a lot.
He's extra careful with how he deals.
His akhlaq needs to be on point. His
mannerism is all.
Because people are gonna say, oh, this guy
this guy has been 15 years. He's been
studying. Like, recently what happened?
Guy who's got so much apparently, he's got
so much knowledge,
He's adorning himself with the worst of etiquettes
in the world and up seeing this on
social media.
The person of knowledge
who
adorns himself with this beauty of knowledge, he
needs to be somebody who consistently
acts upon whatever he does.
You find
that as you can find inside Bukhari.
They are the people
between il and also acting upon it
inwardly
and externally.
This was the dua of the messenger salallahu
alaihi wa sallam. When you look at the
statement of Allah azza wa Jal,
The Messenger was sent with what?
Aras salallahu alaihi wa sallam sent him with
2 things,
with guidance,
and the true religion.
Alkathir
talks about this, and you'll see how it's
relevant later.
Hudah here in this verse, it means brothers,
he is the one who came with alikhbarat,
information that was what
truthful.
And also the authentic iman, a correct iman.
And also beneficial knowledge. So it's knowledge there.
The true religion
here. To come with righteous actions that is
beneficial in the dunya likewise the akra.
Now when you look at, subhanAllah,
the verse that we read

times
a day.
This verse now consists of 2 things, to
have knowledge and to also what? Have action.
Otherwise, we're going to be like, who? The
Jews and the Christians.
Whoever knows, but then he doesn't act upon
his knowledge.
This person is a Fajr.
Shirkle seventeen, you made him an Mu'al Fatawah.
Whoever knows,
But then he goes and he doesn't act
upon it. This person is a Fajr. Who's
a Fajr? Who's a
Fajr?
This person who leaves the haqq, he knows
his right, but he gets out of it.
Purposefully, intentionally.
Until the truth becomes false, and the false
becomes the truth.
Because this is the You know, SubhanAllah mentioned
in another verse.
They argue with Ba'til in order to make
the Ba'athil the truth or vice versa.
Not all types of argumentation is prohibited. The
type of argumentation that is prohibited
is when a person, he knows that this
is wrong,
but he goes against it, and he's going
against it. Just hard headed. He doesn't want
to humble himself,
or he doesn't wanna accept the fact that
Fulan is correct.
Don't we have this sometimes the ego gets
the better of us. Right? Very hard sometimes
that a person, he just accepts, humbles himself,
and lets go.
He knows that he's wrong, but he just
fights because of his ego.
Then the sheikh, he said, woman,
Whoever now
acts without knowledge, this is awesome His guidance.
And Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
The Jews, they knew the truth.
The Jews, brothers and sisters, they knew the
truth.
They knew the Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam was
who? The final Messenger.
Walam yamanu bihi. But they never acted upon
it. 1 Nasara, Abadullah Bi Ghailil. They worshiped
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala with what without no
knowledge.
Allah says to us about Ehud.
They knew the Messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Just
like they knew their kids.
Isn't anybody who knows
anybody better than his kids?
Can somebody tell me about my child?
How good he is? How bad he is?
The ins and the outs of my child?
Nobody can tell me that. Right? Because I'm
his father.
He grew up with me.
They knew that he was the messenger
like in Baghi and Wa'inaaden.
Out of arrogance,
stubbornness, they turned away.
The ulama, my brothers and sisters, are
Whoever has a il may acts upon the
opposite.
This filhaqik is a jahil.
The reality of the matter is this person
is not a yalim, it's a jahil.
Wakadayin Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala Umrah. Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala gave us a parable in the
Quran.
Allah gave an example in the Quran. Allah
says to the Messenger, recite to them about
the individual that we gave the verses to.
We gave him ayaat.
We gave him the textual evidence from the
Quran. And the sunnah we told him what's
right, what is wrong.
He turned away.
So the shaytan
went after him and he became from those
who were destroyed.
Had he taken these proofs and evidences
and acted upon it, we would have raised
them.
But what did he do?
He dropped to the floor.
Can you see now brothers and sisters? What
could raise you and what could humiliate you?
The more you connect yourself to this Quran
you have another hadith that explain this.
The Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam, Inna Allah
yarfa'abihadarqurani,
aqwama wayadaubi akharin.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala through this Quran
will raise a person or He will drop
him to the ground
depending on how much you take it seriously,
how much you act upon it,
the fact that you implement in your life,
then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says to us
in the Quran,
He is like a dog, like a dog.
You stay with him or you leave him,
he just says,
yelhad. His tongue is out.
And the second type is brothers and sisters,
Whoever has knowledge but what does he do?
He
acts upon fayasna oliyajunisa martabadil alim. He sits
in the position of an alim. Rather, I
wanted to mention the people who ascribe themselves
to a knowledge are 3 types.
Not the ulema being 2 types because these
2 are not the ulema.
The second one is,
a person who tries to act like an
elim,
but he's not befitting to do so.
And this person you find, brothers and sisters,
has followed the steps of the Shaytan.
Because what happens?
Allah says to us in the Quran, do
not follow the footsteps of the shaitan. For
indeed, he is a clear enemy.
He only commands you to do
And you speak about Allah subhan with that
knowledge.
You find people who act like scholars, but
the reality they're not scholars.
He's sitting in
the cafe, he's giving fatawa
based upon ignorance. He has asked the question,
he hastens
to answer that question.
He doesn't fear the fact that one fitwa
or one statement that you mentioned to somebody
else could be the reason when even you
die. Till the day of Tayamah, your sins
are carrying on.
You know it's very easy to go and
tell the people, ahi, you know, go spread
this knowledge because if somebody acts upon it,
another person acts upon it, what will happen?
You'll get that reward. Tilkiya Masa.
The Prophet said,
Whoever calls for guidance, he gets rewards for
everybody.
If everybody goes here now, every hadith or
one hadith takes it, goes and tells someone
else. And then he goes, he goes, and
somebody dies, or the teacher dies.
This reward is carrying on ilaha yamsa'ah.
Al munjaria.
It's the reward.
So Ujurunjaria.
It is a reward that continues. We hear
about Sadaqhulunjariyah a lot. Right? You make a
well, it carries on and so on and
so forth. This is a reward that carries
on. This is a reward that carries on.
And likewise with Ithim.
You tell something, someone wrong.
He goes and tells somebody else and then
he goes and tells somebody else.
You get the sin of every other person
and I won't take anything away from the
sins.
And today you find social media. Social media
has given these people
such a great opportunity
to accumulate
sins.
Any Tom, Dick and Harry can come out
on social media, make a YouTube channel and
just talk.
Whenever there's an issue, the first person speak.
He hasn't studied. He has no knowledge based
background, not even an academic background. He's just
there anything that happens, he's speaking about it.
60,000 people are gonna watch his videos
or making prank videos or making all these
other ones. That prank that you've done, that
prank,
everybody that goes and does that to somebody
else,
or where he
lies in a joke. Do you know brothers
and sisters, the menzilah, of lying in a
joke? What he has in our religion?
Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam told us about
this individual, there's no one to smell Jannah.
He makes halai in order for the people
to laugh.
Or he shocks a person, oppresses a person
while he's pranking.
Somebody showed me yesterday of an Arab guy,
of an Arab guy, he's wearing an imamah,
he's got his igal on, he's getting a
bag and he's throwing at people and he
runs away.
He's got over 19,000,000 hits, 19,000,000.
Gets the bag and he chucks it and
everybody, and then he runs. And everybody goes
crazy, runs off. A guy got a bag
thrown in his car. He left his car.
2017
plate car. In In the middle of the
road, he got out, he left it.
And another guy, he goes and acts upon
it. And another guy acts upon it.
People don't know how to say Allahu Alem.
The malaika brothers and sisters, malaika.
Allah said to them,
Tell me about the names if you are
people that are truthful.
He said,
There's nowhere for us except that which you
to us.
The Malaika said, Allahu Alem.
And then here at the Baishar, sometime in
Tildesali, please, from the deception of the Shaytan,
he whispers into
the teacher's ears and says, If you don't
say Allahu Alam, everybody is going to think
that you don't know and that you're ignorant
and so on and so forth. Hadhatalbisuliblis.
You're so concerned about what the people have
to say, but you're not concerned about Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Look what the prophet said to us in
this hadith,
Allah doesn't take knowledge away.
Just like that. But how he takes the
knowledge away is through the death of the
scholars.
People after that start taking ignorant people as
scholars.
They ask them for suilo.
They start giving fata'awah without knowledge. Faa'alu a'alu.
They misguide themselves and they misguide everybody else.
In another narration, he said faafto bi ra'ihim.
Whatever comes to his mind, he gives it.
And then the third category is the category
that we mentioned, Al Ulema or Rabaneen.
There is, like, 40 characteristics that I could
mention here.
I don't know if we're gonna
find time. I'll mention 10 of them very,
very quickly. Tadakkur an I'm in this person.
If you look in these ayaats that the
Sheikh he mentioned, there's a reason why he
mentioned it has been derived from here.
Here Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, he says,
remember the blessing of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
upon you.
Because Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala placed people of
knowledge amongst them, aliskid alik.
The Jews, the yahood,
we mentioned earlier they had knowledge. Right? They
had knowledge.
But what did they do? They never acted
upon it.
And the nazarawa acts, so they knew but
they never acted upon it. Allah blessed them
with knowledge.
Told them remember the blessings of Allah upon
you. You are in the knowledge that he
gave you, Allah.
And fulfill your promises.
When you go to Surah Al Baqarah, you
find a series of characteristics.
One of them is
acting upon your knowledge.
Allah says in the Quran in these verses
after that, do you command the people with
good and you forget yourself.
And
you recite the book.
You know, do you not have any intellect?
Do you not think?
And so on and so forth. There's another
verse.
I gave preference to you from the rest
of the world.
So the point is brothers and sisters, I'm
just going to summarize this point.
Here Allah clearly told these people remember the
blessings of Allah
just to show you what a beautiful thing
this is. But then today you find even
though Allah clarified it so much
that
when even the Aamir Belid is a very
dumb common, you know, individual can understand.
But then it now, in this time, it
became the most strangest of
things. To go and seek knowledge has become
strange. Wallahi, brothers and sisters, I was sitting
in my local Masjid.
One of the elders came up to me
and he said to me,
this is a quite some, a long time
ago.
He said to me,
Akhi, you know, you should go out for
40 days.
Agha had a time I said to him,
Brother, may Allah bless your uncle. But me,
I think I need to seek a bit
more knowledge. I need some time to learn.
His whole face changed
because brother, you don't need knowledge. You don't
need knowledge. You just need to go and
give daawa, daawa, daawa, daawa. And
with him, brothers come up to me and
say to me, Achi, brother, don't worry about
it. You just stand up, and Allah puts
on your tongue, and then you speak
Did Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, what did Allah
say?
Say to the Lord Muhammad, I call to
Allah with basir. What's basirah? It's knowledge.
Another individual I'm trying to explain, this was
most, maybe in the last year and a
half.
And then I try to advise him, I
hate the importance of knowledge, that we need
to seek knowledge before going on Dawah. Brother,
this is a deception.
This is a misunderstanding.
Put to the side. This is Dawah.
Sarrahah the agrable ashaah, as the sheikh he
mentioned. Was sadaqa, and the sheikh was truthful.
With some people you find that having an
understanding or attaining it and seeking knowledge has
become from the innovations and the dulahlid misguidance.
And you find brothers and sisters
that the truth is covered with falsehood and
that ilm today,
the person who goes after knowledge
is seen to be as a zindeer. Earlier,
I didn't get a chance to explain a
zindik because of the time, o Majnoon.
Zindik is someone,
is somebody
who
has something of a belief,
but then
outwardly,
he shows something else. A bit like the
munafiq
or a majinoon. This guy is majinoon. This
is how people see him today. The guy
runs off to knowledge, he seemed to be
a madman.
Rather what we find is, manankarahu, the one
who actually
hates it and tells the people to stay
away from it. And even authors books to
stay away from these things, he is the
one that is seen as a Taqih, as
an island.
I live with my brothers and sisters.
This is my favorite asl of the book.
This is my favorite
fundamental out of the 6 books. Why? Because
it's something I could relate to.
Before when I went to Yemen, before I
went to the Majd, I went to
a place which was more Sufified.
And people used to tell us, Fulan is
a wali. Fulan is a wali, and fulan
is not. Fulan is this.
Wali means brothers and sisters are gonna come
later on and explain it. Someone who's very
close and is a saint of Allah azza
wa jal. Someone very close to Allah azza
wa jal.
Faha'ad Ashkel Alayyah.
And later on when I started reading a
kitab of Sheikh Alissamiteemir Rahmatullahi.
There's a kitab called, Alfarqubayna
oliyaillahi
The difference between the awliyah of Allah and
the friends of the shaitaan.
So in summarization, I'm going to mention this
and then after the break, I
will explain it further.
Here Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is saying,
Here Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala talks about
who the true awliyah, the friends, those who
are close to Allah, azza wa Jal, the
saints are, and the difference between them
and those
who act like them.
Those who act like them
from the munafiqeen,
the enemies of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, and
the fujab.
Those transgressors.
And here the sheikh, he brings a verse
from the Quran
to show us that it is sufficient
to know who these people are.
Say to them, Muhammad, did they truly love
Allah? Then follow me.
Then Allah will love you. That's one verse.
The other verse he mentions,
Whoever now
leaves his religion,
or you believe, whoever now leaves his religion,
Then Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will bring a
people that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is satisfied
with. He loves and they love him as
well.
Then the 3rd verse,
Here Allah
Azzawajal clearly talks about the Udi Awliya. The
true Saints.
The Awliya, do not fear them and do
not be sad.
Believe and also have Taqwa. So two characteristics
we mentioned was Iman and Taqwa.
Then the sheikh, he mentions,
Then the Sheikh, he mentions that
the reality with a lot of these people
who have this concept
and they claim to have knowledge.
That Milhudaat
Il Khalq, the most guided of the creation,
and those who preserve our legislation,
is that the Awliya need to be leaving
of the Sunnah. That's okay for them to
do that.
And whoever follows the sunnah, this person not
from them.
And they're also leaving of jihad.
Whoever strives and takes part in it is
not from them. When I put them in
tarkil imani wa taqwa,
And also a person must leave.
And whoever now adorns himself with iman and
taqwa, the smiles are not from them. You
Rabbana nasallukal Afuwal Aafiya innaqasameer
du'a.
Oh Allah, we ask you for Afu, pardoning
and also well-being. Indeed, you are Samir Dua.
You are somebody who hears the adua.
InshaAllah Ta'ala. At 8 o'clock, we're going to
come back. I'm really going to explain and
mention some,
you know,
stories
that I previously went through pertaining who the
oliya and what the oliya and so on
and so forth is.
