00:01:55 --> 00:01:58

at the Sleeman Kathira li o Medina Amma beret

00:02:00 --> 00:02:05

as we begin the 25th Jews it has the last several verses of Surah

00:02:05 --> 00:02:09

hermy message that which we already discussed, that's followed

00:02:09 --> 00:02:10

by Surah two Shura,

00:02:11 --> 00:02:16

sort of the shura is then followed by Surah to Shura is another one

00:02:16 --> 00:02:19

of the homies the Hawa meme as such, that's followed by an yet

00:02:19 --> 00:02:23

another one, which is sort of dissolve and sort of Zuko is then

00:02:23 --> 00:02:29

followed by a Doohan. So this is a most of the house meme are in the

00:02:29 --> 00:02:34

25th Jers. Then so we that followed that is followed by sort

00:02:34 --> 00:02:37

of two Doohan and then the final Surah here in this chapter is sort

00:02:37 --> 00:02:42

of soldier Thea, I'll just Jaffa again another Hammy. And then

00:02:42 --> 00:02:47

we've got another one, which starts in the 26 Jews, which we'll

00:02:47 --> 00:02:51

look at later, but today inshallah we're looking at several ha memes.

00:02:52 --> 00:02:59

Okay to start off the 25th Jews, Allah subhanaw taala. After having

00:02:59 --> 00:03:00

discussed

00:03:02 --> 00:03:07

in the previous verses of the surah, in the 24th Jews, Allah had

00:03:07 --> 00:03:11

spoken about no oppression, absolute justice, in the way Allah

00:03:11 --> 00:03:14

will deal with people in the hereafter and there'll be no

00:03:14 --> 00:03:19

oppression. So Allah subhanho wa Taala begins, or rather, the next

00:03:19 --> 00:03:25

verse here, which is verse 47, begins with la hora de la Musa.

00:03:26 --> 00:03:29

The knowledge of the Day of Judgment, the final day, the final

00:03:29 --> 00:03:32

hour is all to Allah subhanaw taala.

00:03:33 --> 00:03:38

And not just that, but basically everything, every fruit that

00:03:38 --> 00:03:45

emerges every plant that comes from its seed, and everything that

00:03:45 --> 00:03:47

a female carries in her womb.

00:03:49 --> 00:03:51

And then B gets all of that is with the knowledge of Allah

00:03:51 --> 00:03:52

subhanaw taala.

00:03:56 --> 00:03:57

Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:03:58 --> 00:04:02

basically, the idea of this is that the it's veiled from people

00:04:02 --> 00:04:05

the sign of the day of judgment or the sorry, the signs of the Day of

00:04:05 --> 00:04:09

Judgment are open to us, we can read them, but when it comes to

00:04:09 --> 00:04:12

the actual day of judgment that's going to occur up to Allah

00:04:12 --> 00:04:15

subhanho wa Taala and is going to occur all of a sudden, people will

00:04:15 --> 00:04:16

be

00:04:17 --> 00:04:21

involved in whatever their daily activities will be, and the Day of

00:04:21 --> 00:04:23

Judgment will occur.

00:04:24 --> 00:04:28

So then, that is the day when the machine will ask a question where

00:04:28 --> 00:04:30

Yama Yuna de him in a Shoraka.

00:04:31 --> 00:04:37

Right? Where are my partners? Where are those partners that used

00:04:37 --> 00:04:41

to associate with Allah? They would be asked this question,

00:04:41 --> 00:04:44

right? Where are your partner? Allah will say Where are My

00:04:44 --> 00:04:48

partners, meaning the ones that you used to claim that I had,

00:04:48 --> 00:04:53

where are they? And they will say, Mommy naman Shaheed, we have no

00:04:53 --> 00:04:55

idea. We can't witness and we can't see them.

00:04:57 --> 00:04:59

We don't know where they are told. So that's the understanding

00:05:00 --> 00:05:00

Then

00:05:01 --> 00:05:05

Allah subhanaw taala continues that discussion. And

00:05:10 --> 00:05:13

by the end of it in the several verses that we have left Allah

00:05:13 --> 00:05:18

subhanaw taala discusses that there is within the human being

00:05:19 --> 00:05:24

within the island itself. There is the signs of Allah subhanaw taala.

00:05:25 --> 00:05:31

And sundry him is Tina Phil faki. Wolfie and foresee him. So you

00:05:31 --> 00:05:35

look at verse 53, were soon going to show them Our signs

00:05:37 --> 00:05:42

around OFAC, in basically all the distant places around them, right

00:05:42 --> 00:05:46

and in themselves, until it becomes very clear that this is

00:05:46 --> 00:05:51

the absolute truth. And isn't it sufficient for your Lord that He

00:05:51 --> 00:05:54

is basically witness to everything, he witnesses

00:05:54 --> 00:05:54

everything.

00:05:56 --> 00:05:59

Unfortunately, they're still in doubt of the meeting with the

00:05:59 --> 00:05:59

Lord.

00:06:00 --> 00:06:03

But he is encompassing of everything. So this is a

00:06:03 --> 00:06:06

reiteration of the fact that Allah subhanaw taala is aware of

00:06:06 --> 00:06:10

everything, he knows exactly what's going on. And

00:06:12 --> 00:06:16

you see, this is something that was revealed to us over 1400 years

00:06:16 --> 00:06:16

ago.

00:06:17 --> 00:06:21

Many, many generations have passed and read this, many, many people

00:06:21 --> 00:06:25

have been influenced, and have basically accepted the faith.

00:06:26 --> 00:06:29

Until today, you know, we have about 1.7 to 1.8 billion people

00:06:29 --> 00:06:32

who listen to this Quran, who believes in this Quran.

00:06:33 --> 00:06:37

And basically the entire universe, it's the natural world that we're

00:06:37 --> 00:06:41

looking at the physical world, the world of the physics, you know,

00:06:41 --> 00:06:44

the subject matter of the physics and metaphysics, that which goes

00:06:44 --> 00:06:47

beyond the physical world, all of that is discussed here, or

00:06:47 --> 00:06:51

whatever is discussed here. It's so clear that if somebody ponders

00:06:51 --> 00:06:55

over them, and doesn't take them to be just normal things that we

00:06:55 --> 00:06:59

take for granted, outside, then they realize, and there's no other

00:06:59 --> 00:07:03

heavenly scripture that has had so many revelations as a miracle.

00:07:04 --> 00:07:08

There's no other scripture, if you look where the science today,

00:07:08 --> 00:07:12

right, the science gets it wrong. Sometimes Sometimes it does create

00:07:12 --> 00:07:15

a bit of a challenge that it seems to contradict something mentioned

00:07:15 --> 00:07:18

in the Quran, there have been a few instances like that. But then

00:07:18 --> 00:07:20

over time, those are being cleared. Because remember, science

00:07:20 --> 00:07:24

is in the science, you start off with a theory, right? You start

00:07:24 --> 00:07:27

off with a theory, and then it takes a while for, for it to

00:07:27 --> 00:07:30

eventually become fact. You know, I mean, just a simple example that

00:07:30 --> 00:07:33

we have, sometimes a study show us that margarine is superior to

00:07:33 --> 00:07:36

butter. Right? And then other times actually, it tells you that

00:07:36 --> 00:07:41

no butter is superior sciences, research or other has told us that

00:07:41 --> 00:07:46

sometimes, you know, the formula milk, the artificial milk created

00:07:46 --> 00:07:51

to seem like mother's milk is sometimes better. Right? You have

00:07:51 --> 00:07:53

to also remember that there's a lot of marketing involved in some

00:07:53 --> 00:07:55

of this stuff sometimes. So you have to be careful with some of

00:07:55 --> 00:07:59

this. Not always, but sometimes, there's certain products in some

00:07:59 --> 00:08:05

countries, they're they're marketed as a as a hot drink like

00:08:05 --> 00:08:09

Milo, right made from Nestle. It's, it's promoted as active as

00:08:09 --> 00:08:12

an active drink, show you people running on the I think that's in

00:08:12 --> 00:08:15

India, and yet in other countries like Africa, or somewhere, I

00:08:15 --> 00:08:19

think, or in England or America, I can't remember where it was a

00:08:19 --> 00:08:22

nighttimes nighttime drink to calm you down. So you can get a better

00:08:22 --> 00:08:26

rest. How can that one drink do both, you know, make you active,

00:08:26 --> 00:08:30

give you all the energy, right to run around. And then at the same

00:08:30 --> 00:08:33

time, let you sleep as well. So sometimes it's a lot to do with

00:08:33 --> 00:08:36

marketing marketing, as well, not to say science is always like

00:08:36 --> 00:08:39

that. But I'm saying you just have to be careful with these things.

00:08:39 --> 00:08:43

But what has been understood from the Quran? Is that whether

00:08:43 --> 00:08:47

wherever you are, it's so clear, you know, the things are so clear,

00:08:47 --> 00:08:49

doesn't matter what kind of a person you are, if you just really

00:08:49 --> 00:08:53

just sit down and open, open, remove the barriers between

00:08:53 --> 00:08:56

oneself and the Quran and the universe, you will actually see

00:08:56 --> 00:09:00

how truthful it is. Right? We just don't have the time to put this

00:09:00 --> 00:09:04

in, you know, to explain this in detail each time. But

00:09:05 --> 00:09:10

Subhanallah, the oceans, the discussion, it talks about the

00:09:10 --> 00:09:14

sun. And I mean, it's talking about these things at a time when

00:09:14 --> 00:09:18

the sun was kind of the biggest idea you could have in your mind

00:09:18 --> 00:09:22

about a planet. What was beyond that was difficult to understand.

00:09:22 --> 00:09:25

They could understand the stars, but what they look like they

00:09:25 --> 00:09:28

didn't know there were no test telescopes. Telescopes only are a

00:09:28 --> 00:09:31

few 100 years ago, right? And the Quran is mentioning all of these

00:09:31 --> 00:09:34

things, then we discover that actually, the sun is just the

00:09:34 --> 00:09:38

closest star to us. Just one of the closest stars to us and there

00:09:38 --> 00:09:42

are bigger suns out there. Bigger stars out there that are millions

00:09:42 --> 00:09:46

of miles away. Right? At 3 million miles is the sun can you imagine

00:09:46 --> 00:09:49

it? Then the others even beyond? Imagine how big this universe is?

00:09:49 --> 00:09:52

If you just look at, you know how long it takes us to get from one

00:09:52 --> 00:09:56

place to another in just one mile. Can you imagine what the universe

00:09:56 --> 00:09:59

in terms of the millions and how big the scope is and how big the

00:09:59 --> 00:09:59

sun isn't?

00:10:00 --> 00:10:03

How many things aren't the Quran discusses all of these things for

00:10:03 --> 00:10:04

people who think about it.

00:10:06 --> 00:10:07

So

00:10:10 --> 00:10:13

then when you look at the human being, the way it's been created,

00:10:13 --> 00:10:17

we had a bit of a discussion about that yesterday, you'll understand

00:10:17 --> 00:10:18

the same thing about that.

00:10:19 --> 00:10:22

Allah subhanaw taala mentions all of these things, he points out to

00:10:22 --> 00:10:24

all of these things. He couldn't mention it in such you know,

00:10:24 --> 00:10:27

detail because the Quran is not that kind of a book, you know, to

00:10:27 --> 00:10:32

provide exact small, small minut details, but it gives you enough

00:10:32 --> 00:10:36

generalities in the right, coming at a time when nobody knew these

00:10:36 --> 00:10:39

things, how can that make sense, you know, all the way till the

00:10:40 --> 00:10:41

till the Big Bang essentially.

00:10:44 --> 00:10:47

So this is a very different kind of Marchesa, it's still the living

00:10:47 --> 00:10:51

miracle because it still provides you the interaction that a person

00:10:51 --> 00:10:56

needs as opposed to the stuff of Musa alayhis salam, or some of

00:10:56 --> 00:10:58

these other miracles like of Eastside Islam, which are very

00:10:58 --> 00:11:04

time specific. So let the Quran keep opening our hearts and our

00:11:04 --> 00:11:07

eyes and our minds, but we need to read it for that to happen.

00:11:09 --> 00:11:13

Now we move on to the next verse or two Shura. Shura Shura is a

00:11:13 --> 00:11:18

murky surah. And it's one of the higher memes as we said, 53 verses

00:11:19 --> 00:11:23

in here, and it's been split up into five sections.

00:11:24 --> 00:11:30

And again, her meme ain seen cough so that beyond the ham is the ANC

00:11:30 --> 00:11:34

in coff Allah knows best what that means. But again, Allah talks

00:11:34 --> 00:11:37

about the Quran cada una de La Cocina Latina mean public.

00:11:37 --> 00:11:41

Likewise, the way the revelation came down to you,

00:11:43 --> 00:11:46

was sent down to you as inspired to you and to those before you,

00:11:46 --> 00:11:50

the one who did it is from Allah. So Allah is the One who sent it

00:11:50 --> 00:11:53

down to the mighty and the wise one, for him is everything in the

00:11:53 --> 00:11:56

heavens and earth. I'll just take this opportunity to introduce you

00:11:56 --> 00:12:00

to this idea that the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam received

00:12:01 --> 00:12:06

different types of Revelation. So one is what they call the Ye Ye is

00:12:06 --> 00:12:11

Revelation so ye means Revelation, that which Allah inspires directly

00:12:11 --> 00:12:15

or through a means to the prophets, or anybody for that

00:12:15 --> 00:12:17

matter, but the way he specifically is for prophets,

00:12:17 --> 00:12:21

Allah could inspire like Allah uses the word ye for the mother of

00:12:21 --> 00:12:27

Moses, moosari salam, well, hyena Illa, ami Musa, there's also ye to

00:12:27 --> 00:12:31

the Nahal. Right, but that's just inspiration or a guidance is

00:12:31 --> 00:12:35

providing but nowadays, Jerry, the concept of ye has become kind of

00:12:35 --> 00:12:39

more fixed for that revelation that comes down to prophets. And

00:12:40 --> 00:12:43

the Quran is one of the revelations and then probably

00:12:43 --> 00:12:46

salaries. Allah also sent to him said other things to him, which

00:12:46 --> 00:12:49

the Prophet said was in quotes directly, the Quran is also quoted

00:12:49 --> 00:12:53

directly from Allah. But in some Hadith, which we call Hadith,

00:12:53 --> 00:12:58

could see the Divine Hadith or the divine narrations in those words,

00:12:58 --> 00:13:02

and also says, Allah said to me, right, Allah said to me that, you

00:13:02 --> 00:13:06

know, I will treat my servant this way or that way. So what's the

00:13:06 --> 00:13:09

difference between those were which have not become part of the

00:13:09 --> 00:13:12

Quran, and this which has become part of Ghana because these are

00:13:12 --> 00:13:16

Allah's words, those are Allah's was simple difference. Those the

00:13:16 --> 00:13:18

Prophet sallallahu Sallam is paraphrasing he's not necessarily

00:13:18 --> 00:13:22

quoting them verbatim, they were not intended to be part of this

00:13:22 --> 00:13:25

type of war he whereas these ones he had to quote the bait him

00:13:25 --> 00:13:29

that's why it wasn't on as soon as you'll see in certain Qiyamah

00:13:29 --> 00:13:32

where the Quran was revealed to him person will try to repeat it

00:13:32 --> 00:13:36

quickly moving his lips and to try to memorize it. So Allah says

00:13:36 --> 00:13:38

look, you don't have to do that we'll just let it you know we'll

00:13:38 --> 00:13:41

download it to your heart Don't worry, law to Heinrich be Healy

00:13:41 --> 00:13:42

Sana Colita jewellery.

00:13:44 --> 00:13:47

So the difference between this and that some have said, call it ye

00:13:47 --> 00:13:52

Mutlu, and that's why he is there. Mutlu Mutlu basically comes on

00:13:52 --> 00:13:55

what Tila this is a way that you can do tilava have and be rewarded

00:13:55 --> 00:14:00

for reciting the Hadith could say you can read them for inspiration

00:14:00 --> 00:14:03

for learning and education. But you don't generally just read them

00:14:03 --> 00:14:08

for reward. You may read them for Tabarak, but not for reward as you

00:14:08 --> 00:14:11

do for the Quran. So that's the separation between those two those

00:14:11 --> 00:14:14

are paraphrased in the prophecy Lawson's own words which are also

00:14:14 --> 00:14:17

very eloquent, but not in Allah's words necessarily, whereas the

00:14:17 --> 00:14:21

Quran Allah's words, they're not the prophets or Lawson's word but

00:14:21 --> 00:14:24

they've come through, so he's basically conveyed it exactly, the

00:14:24 --> 00:14:26

Quran. So that's the difference between those two.

00:14:29 --> 00:14:35

Then the general body of Hadith, that's not that that is also

00:14:35 --> 00:14:41

inspired by the, you know, by Allah. And, but those are, those

00:14:41 --> 00:14:44

are the ones in which the prophets Allah isn't doesn't say he's

00:14:44 --> 00:14:48

quoting from Allah. Its words he says for himself. That's why we'll

00:14:48 --> 00:14:53

see in Surah najem in the next few years, that in Hua Allah wa you

00:14:53 --> 00:14:53

you have

00:14:55 --> 00:14:58

that is basically speaking about the Quran, but Allah says about

00:14:58 --> 00:15:00

the person, woman a young Tico

00:15:00 --> 00:15:03

Ideal however, he does not speak of his own whim and fantasies and

00:15:03 --> 00:15:07

desires. What he does say comes from Allah that sometimes even if

00:15:07 --> 00:15:12

he makes a mistake and something right he suggested certain things

00:15:12 --> 00:15:15

Allah will generally correct him or he'll correct them. So those

00:15:15 --> 00:15:19

are not directly verbatim or direct inspirations. They

00:15:19 --> 00:15:22

inspiration from Allah subhanaw taala. But they're not to be

00:15:22 --> 00:15:26

recited. They're not he's not quoting align those, but they're

00:15:26 --> 00:15:30

still Allah, the prophets. Allah is divinely inspired in everything

00:15:30 --> 00:15:30

that he does.

00:15:32 --> 00:15:37

Okay, that inshallah adds to our repository of information about

00:15:37 --> 00:15:41

the Quran in general, and our Dini knowledge. So now let's move on.

00:15:41 --> 00:15:46

Just like with every other mucky surah Allah subhanaw taala speaks

00:15:46 --> 00:15:52

about. Now you'll notice that the big theme in this is the ye that's

00:15:52 --> 00:15:55

why it starts off with cada una earache, and you'll see the way it

00:15:55 --> 00:15:59

ends. And in between as well you will find that Allah discusses the

00:15:59 --> 00:16:03

revelation as a ye it doesn't. He speak in many other ways speaks

00:16:03 --> 00:16:06

about Quran Quran, but here he actually speaks about it as ye and

00:16:06 --> 00:16:07

Revelation.

00:16:08 --> 00:16:13

So, let us move on by the first verse, the second verse or the

00:16:13 --> 00:16:16

third verse or the Cavalli up in ICA, the revelation is coming from

00:16:16 --> 00:16:20

Allah, it's Allah who's really into everybody to you and to those

00:16:20 --> 00:16:23

before you basically saying that it's one source, the revelation is

00:16:23 --> 00:16:26

coming from the one single source which is Allah subhanaw taala.

00:16:26 --> 00:16:30

That means the core message is all the same. Just the minut details

00:16:30 --> 00:16:33

relating to the people of that time and what was available at

00:16:33 --> 00:16:37

that time, what was different, but other than that, it's it's

00:16:37 --> 00:16:40

basically the same. That's why if you carry on I mean, the several

00:16:40 --> 00:16:43

verses have the similar kind of idea it goes into some of the

00:16:43 --> 00:16:47

things comes back, Allah says Again, look in verse seven, Waka

00:16:47 --> 00:16:51

hyena, Erica Quran and Arabic So likewise, we inspired you revealed

00:16:51 --> 00:16:56

upon you a Arabic Quran, so that you can warn the people of the

00:16:56 --> 00:17:00

localities and the surrounding people and so on and so forth.

00:17:01 --> 00:17:03

What we understand then as you carry on, and then you get to

00:17:03 --> 00:17:05

about verse 13.

00:17:06 --> 00:17:10

Right, you get to about verse 13. Allah subhanho wa Taala say

00:17:10 --> 00:17:15

something shorter either committed Dyneema wasabi, he knew her. This

00:17:15 --> 00:17:18

Deen that Allah subhanaw taala has legislated for you the faith the

00:17:18 --> 00:17:22

religion deen is religion. Iman is faith to be more particular,

00:17:22 --> 00:17:26

right? This religion that Allah subhanaw taala has inspired to you

00:17:27 --> 00:17:32

give a new century with right this is nothing new. It is basically

00:17:32 --> 00:17:37

that which my wasabia He knew the main points are those that we

00:17:38 --> 00:17:43

instructed to new Hara his Salam, and to a number of the other

00:17:43 --> 00:17:46

prophets are mentioned here. So know how they Salam, Ibraheem

00:17:46 --> 00:17:50

Alehissalaam Mousavi, salam, Isa Elise and um, all of them were

00:17:50 --> 00:17:54

calling to the same core message. That's what he's saying that look,

00:17:54 --> 00:17:57

don't think this is something new. I mean, it was good enough for

00:17:57 --> 00:18:01

them. And you know that they had a good consequence, the people who

00:18:01 --> 00:18:05

believed and listen, you've got a chance now to do this. Now you see

00:18:05 --> 00:18:08

what the Quran does, it uses different styles, as you would

00:18:08 --> 00:18:11

have noticed by now, if you've been reading this closely, right?

00:18:11 --> 00:18:16

Allah subhanaw taala sometimes persuades, right? Sometimes it's

00:18:16 --> 00:18:18

very kind of just

00:18:19 --> 00:18:24

very compassionate persuasion. In other times, there's a lot of

00:18:24 --> 00:18:25

majestic,

00:18:26 --> 00:18:31

majestic warning, right? There's a lot of jealousy involved because

00:18:31 --> 00:18:35

Allah has all of these attributes. So sometimes he's using his

00:18:35 --> 00:18:39

compassion, to explain, sometimes he's explaining through his

00:18:39 --> 00:18:43

sternness, and strictness. And he's saying, I will take revenge

00:18:43 --> 00:18:46

because he is the moon docking. So you get to see the various

00:18:46 --> 00:18:49

different names of Allah. That's why I think a really beautiful

00:18:49 --> 00:18:54

idea is that you study the names of Allah before or while studying

00:18:54 --> 00:18:58

the Quran. And you will see the various different names that play

00:18:58 --> 00:19:01

manifested in the various different verses. Sometimes this

00:19:01 --> 00:19:06

is Jellal. Sometimes Jamal says indicom, some, his, his, his, his

00:19:06 --> 00:19:09

being kahar and, and so on. And so it's very interesting, so many

00:19:09 --> 00:19:12

ways of looking at the Quran. So now, if you look at verse 15,

00:19:12 --> 00:19:18

going back to verse 15, fairly direct federal. So Allah is saying

00:19:18 --> 00:19:19

so basically,

00:19:20 --> 00:19:21

further

00:19:22 --> 00:19:27

call to this way, right. We're stuck in karma omit and remain

00:19:27 --> 00:19:31

steadfast as you've been instructed, do not listen, do not

00:19:31 --> 00:19:35

do not follow their whims. And just say, I'm going to be Manzella

00:19:35 --> 00:19:38

hoomin Kitab, I'm going to believe in I believe in what Allah has

00:19:38 --> 00:19:43

revealed of the book. And I've been ordered to be just, you know,

00:19:43 --> 00:19:47

to deal with you with justice. Allah is our Lord and your Lord,

00:19:47 --> 00:19:50

for us is our actions for you is your actions.

00:19:51 --> 00:19:55

Allah will eventually gather us together. As you go on right

00:19:55 --> 00:20:00

you're going to see the connection between why and the message

00:20:00 --> 00:20:03

is the message right that the white is the source of the message

00:20:03 --> 00:20:07

that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam has given. So that's why

00:20:07 --> 00:20:10

you have besides other

00:20:11 --> 00:20:15

other warnings and everything and revealing what lies like look at

00:20:15 --> 00:20:20

this Allahu Latif and everybody. Allah deals very subtly and kindly

00:20:20 --> 00:20:25

the word Latif can be subtle or kind. Allah deals with kindness

00:20:25 --> 00:20:29

with his servants. Yasuko Mejia Shah gives sustenance on whoever

00:20:29 --> 00:20:32

he wishes. So you read that, then there's some other guidances

00:20:32 --> 00:20:35

there's some other advices and so on, but eventually, what we're

00:20:35 --> 00:20:38

going to come to if you look at

00:20:40 --> 00:20:45

starting from verse around verse 36, Allah subhanaw taala here

00:20:45 --> 00:20:49

discusses some, these are the beautiful parts which we can

00:20:49 --> 00:20:53

directly emulate, doesn't require reflection, it just require that

00:20:53 --> 00:20:58

we follow it, we learn it, Allah says, Whatever Allah, whatever

00:20:58 --> 00:21:01

you've been given of anything, all of that is just worldly. Right?

00:21:01 --> 00:21:06

It's just instruments of the worldly life, whatever Allah has,

00:21:06 --> 00:21:08

I mean, Jeremy, Allah has mentioned this several times that

00:21:08 --> 00:21:11

whatever Allah has that much better and so on, what Allah

00:21:11 --> 00:21:16

robbing him yet our call yet our cologne. So now these are several

00:21:16 --> 00:21:19

different characteristics mentioned about believers, the

00:21:19 --> 00:21:22

successful ones. So we call ourselves believers, may Allah

00:21:22 --> 00:21:25

subhanho wa Taala give us the ability to put these things in

00:21:25 --> 00:21:29

motion for ourselves. The first of the characteristics is what Allah

00:21:29 --> 00:21:34

robbed him Yetta what Kowloon that these that they rely on Allah so

00:21:34 --> 00:21:37

reliance on Allah is one of the first things Reliance has to be

00:21:37 --> 00:21:41

learned. It's not something you can just read about. It's the fact

00:21:41 --> 00:21:45

that you rely on Allah and you take the so called gamble right

00:21:45 --> 00:21:48

and then you wait for Allah subhanaw taala to basically assist

00:21:48 --> 00:21:51

you. Right you just have to take a leap of faith in that case, right

00:21:51 --> 00:21:52

number two

00:21:54 --> 00:21:58

they this is beautiful. Well Latina is 21 acaba, if you will

00:21:58 --> 00:22:03

for wash those who avoid and abandon the major sins, and the

00:22:03 --> 00:22:07

mage and the obscenities. So that's another characteristic May

00:22:07 --> 00:22:10

Allah make us of those number three is, those who forgive. When

00:22:10 --> 00:22:14

they get angry, they're forgiving. So they basically curb their

00:22:14 --> 00:22:18

anger. And they forgive that the next one is they're obviously

00:22:18 --> 00:22:24

obedient to the Lord. They are a Karma salah they established the

00:22:24 --> 00:22:27

prayer. And I've said this, I think before, by the end of this,

00:22:27 --> 00:22:30

the one take, you know, the few takeaways that we have from here

00:22:30 --> 00:22:34

is that inshallah you've already started your prayers Alhamdulillah

00:22:34 --> 00:22:38

I spoke to somebody a few days ago, he started his cover press

00:22:38 --> 00:22:41

and the several other people have contacted me about that as well.

00:22:41 --> 00:22:46

So please do start your cover your makeup press and in sha Allah.

00:22:46 --> 00:22:50

That is a big message of the Quran, a call masala What am

00:22:50 --> 00:22:53

rowhome Sure Albina home The reason this surah is called Surah

00:22:53 --> 00:22:56

to Shura is because of this verse here.

00:22:58 --> 00:23:01

There are matters between them, the decisions that they take are

00:23:01 --> 00:23:02

then done through consultation.

00:23:03 --> 00:23:08

So wherever appropriate, you should consult. And that's why one

00:23:08 --> 00:23:11

of the sayings are that anybody who does consult will never, you

00:23:11 --> 00:23:16

know, regret. Right will never basically feel remorse afterwards.

00:23:16 --> 00:23:18

Because when you've got a few different opinions, you do what

00:23:18 --> 00:23:21

you then have to do afterwards after taking the opinions but

00:23:21 --> 00:23:23

things open up. That's why this surah is called shoulder to

00:23:23 --> 00:23:28

shoulder because of this. And then finally, those who in this verse,

00:23:29 --> 00:23:34

which was verse 38, and they spend of that which we have given them

00:23:34 --> 00:23:38

always is about spending of what we have given to make it easier we

00:23:38 --> 00:23:40

gave it to you in the first place, we will give you more. So the

00:23:40 --> 00:23:44

Prophet saw some really understood this. That's what he says, in a

00:23:44 --> 00:23:48

Kasim Wallah who Yachty I'm just the distributor Allah is the Giver

00:23:48 --> 00:23:53

so I'm just the tap they open the tap and Marcia has got a free

00:23:53 --> 00:23:58

service from Allah the more I open it the more will come inshallah if

00:23:58 --> 00:24:01

I close it then you know if you keep except close for a very long

00:24:01 --> 00:24:04

time it gets a bit dirty then you have to open let let some so

00:24:04 --> 00:24:08

that's why I remember one friend of mines wealthy guy is a big he's

00:24:08 --> 00:24:12

a Harlem as well. And he said you know given some donations so as a

00:24:12 --> 00:24:14

matter that so he says you have to keep giving, you know, you have to

00:24:14 --> 00:24:17

keep the tap running. Otherwise it gets clogged up.

00:24:18 --> 00:24:20

It's very interesting in the process and really understand so

00:24:20 --> 00:24:22

he called himself the costume.

00:24:23 --> 00:24:27

Now you know all of these and then the last one is well Latina either

00:24:27 --> 00:24:30

Asaba Hohenberg, new humean dos Iran, right.

00:24:31 --> 00:24:34

Those who when they are aggressed against they do defend themselves

00:24:34 --> 00:24:38

in the correct appropriate way. So Allah is allowing that to happen.

00:24:38 --> 00:24:42

It's not like okay, just just be walked over right. Now, what you

00:24:42 --> 00:24:45

have to remember is that the world is such today that if people can

00:24:45 --> 00:24:49

just follow these laws, both on an individual level these

00:24:49 --> 00:24:53

characteristics, imbibe them on an individual and societal level,

00:24:53 --> 00:24:56

then inshallah we can sort ourselves out, but we have to

00:24:56 --> 00:24:59

decide don't look at why he can't he do it. Let us do it for

00:24:59 --> 00:25:00

ourselves with

00:25:00 --> 00:25:03

is wearing the Quran right now to carry on. We move on towards the

00:25:03 --> 00:25:04

end of the surah.

00:25:06 --> 00:25:09

Allah subhanho wa taala. Again if you look it says

00:25:11 --> 00:25:15

Maka, Anna Lee Bhushan, and you call him Allah, Allah ye in verse

00:25:15 --> 00:25:19

51. Right? It is not possible for anybody that Allah subhanaw taala

00:25:19 --> 00:25:24

speak to them except through Ye, or from behind the veil, or that

00:25:24 --> 00:25:31

he gives the information to them through a messenger. Right? Allah

00:25:31 --> 00:25:34

inspires him to whomever he will. So don't say why does he give it

00:25:34 --> 00:25:38

to the voiceless, I'm only not to us, it's up to him. What can

00:25:38 --> 00:25:41

really go hyena in a Kuru home in a marina. Again, there's lots of

00:25:41 --> 00:25:47

ye ye mentioned in here, right, that and a few other other verses,

00:25:47 --> 00:25:50

I want to just cover in here before I point out to you before

00:25:50 --> 00:25:51

we finish

00:25:53 --> 00:25:54

the following.

00:25:55 --> 00:26:01

So one of them is warmer, verse 30, have the same sort of amount

00:26:01 --> 00:26:04

of solder coming musi. But in fact, the Marchesa ad come way out

00:26:04 --> 00:26:05

for anger, fear,

00:26:06 --> 00:26:11

whatever calamity reaches you, that is, as a punishment for you.

00:26:12 --> 00:26:17

It is because of what your hands have earned, have done, have

00:26:17 --> 00:26:21

brought on ALLAH forgive so much, though, we get the idea is that

00:26:21 --> 00:26:25

Allah lets us go in so much small, big things that we do, he only

00:26:25 --> 00:26:29

gets us for some things. Because if he was to take us to task for

00:26:29 --> 00:26:35

every little slip, mistake, suboptimal activity, you know,

00:26:35 --> 00:26:39

those records will show that that would be a disaster. That's why

00:26:39 --> 00:26:42

Allah forgives a lot. He says, but when he does take a stock, it's

00:26:42 --> 00:26:47

going to be if it's a punishment, it's going to be if he puts us

00:26:47 --> 00:26:51

into a calamity raise our status, then that's obviously not, you

00:26:51 --> 00:26:54

know, something we've done to to bring that on negatively speaking.

00:26:54 --> 00:26:58

All right, okay to move on another verse, because we do have a few

00:26:58 --> 00:27:01

other students to cover today. Another one I want to mention is

00:27:01 --> 00:27:04

very interesting, especially for those people who are struggling in

00:27:04 --> 00:27:09

terms of children. And in terms of then having boys, mashallah you've

00:27:09 --> 00:27:13

got families in which you've got 567 daughters, and they carry on

00:27:13 --> 00:27:15

trying until they get a son. And then once the son, he's the

00:27:15 --> 00:27:19

youngest, and then Nazi they stop, right. Now, of course, that's

00:27:19 --> 00:27:23

something that works through the whole society, we live in the

00:27:23 --> 00:27:26

culture we live in the whole psyche that we have, and so on

00:27:26 --> 00:27:29

Hamdulillah, that's fine. But this is what people should turn to.

00:27:30 --> 00:27:32

Right when they're having a struggle, in terms of having

00:27:32 --> 00:27:38

children. If you look at verse 49, and 54, Allah is the kingdom of

00:27:38 --> 00:27:41

the heavens and the earth. He creates whatever He wishes, and

00:27:41 --> 00:27:43

then specifically here, those things I've mentioned before, but

00:27:43 --> 00:27:48

here he says, He gives to whomever he wishes, daughters, and gives to

00:27:48 --> 00:27:52

whomever he wishes, sons, male and female offspring, whoever he

00:27:52 --> 00:27:57

wishes, it's up to Allah. I still remember the harrowing message.

00:27:58 --> 00:28:02

Right? That came from this woman one day as a few years ago, she

00:28:02 --> 00:28:05

sends me an email, she says, Please, please make dua for me.

00:28:06 --> 00:28:09

Tomorrow is my delivery. And if I don't have a son, I don't know

00:28:09 --> 00:28:13

what they're going to do to me, the in laws, the family, and what

00:28:13 --> 00:28:16

they're going to do to me Subhan Allah, Allah is saying he gives it

00:28:16 --> 00:28:19

O user, which means the Quran or in other words, your Aluma Yasha

00:28:19 --> 00:28:23

will Hakim and and for some people, it makes them barren. In

00:28:23 --> 00:28:28

fertile, Allah is knowing it's up to him. And that's why in the book

00:28:28 --> 00:28:31

I've written I've got a whole section about that of people who

00:28:31 --> 00:28:33

don't have children what they can do is shatter the Allah didn't

00:28:33 --> 00:28:37

have children, numerous successful individuals didn't have children,

00:28:37 --> 00:28:40

they just use that maybe Allah wants something else from you. So

00:28:40 --> 00:28:44

if that's what it is, then submit to the will of Allah subhanaw

00:28:44 --> 00:28:46

taala and if you have children, then submit to the will of Allah

00:28:46 --> 00:28:47

and train them well.

00:28:49 --> 00:28:53

Okay, so all of that is done. Now. Let us move on to the next higher

00:28:53 --> 00:28:59

meme. So to Zohar of Surah Zakharov Zakharov. Zarafa means if

00:28:59 --> 00:29:03

you look around you this is all Zakharova. Right? All of this is

00:29:03 --> 00:29:08

Zakharova. Right? Which is essentially decoration, adornment.

00:29:08 --> 00:29:11

You can also call it gold because gold is one of the best kinds of

00:29:11 --> 00:29:13

adornments that you can have. So that's why some people have

00:29:13 --> 00:29:18

actually translated as as Zoho, Zoho off the gold, right? So,

00:29:19 --> 00:29:23

again, sort of the Zoho is a murky Surah with 89 verses right again,

00:29:23 --> 00:29:28

short short verses seven sections. And essentially the reason is that

00:29:28 --> 00:29:32

there are there is a discussion coming about Zarafa and that's why

00:29:33 --> 00:29:35

this surah was mentioned was was called up it couldn't have been

00:29:35 --> 00:29:38

called just sort of hammy because all other sorts of harm him as

00:29:38 --> 00:29:42

well. And we'll get to that verse when we see it. Again the base the

00:29:42 --> 00:29:48

discussion here is the basis of faith is discussed. And again, if

00:29:48 --> 00:29:51

you look at the beginning what meanwhile kita Bill Mubin right it

00:29:51 --> 00:29:55

starts off swearing by the Clearbrook in Jannah who Quran and

00:29:55 --> 00:29:59

RRB Allah Allah Kentucky rule we've made this Quran Arabic so

00:29:59 --> 00:29:59

you can understand

00:30:00 --> 00:30:03

And it this was talking to the Arabs of the time obviously we're

00:30:03 --> 00:30:05

in the hole but you have to remember this something Allah adds

00:30:05 --> 00:30:10

here why no fee milky tabula Dena Allah Allah Yun Hakeem, the

00:30:10 --> 00:30:15

original manuscript, the original archetype of this Quran. Right?

00:30:15 --> 00:30:19

Remember, I mentioned the other day when Allah says inna and

00:30:19 --> 00:30:23

Sanofi data to cover the original Quran was written

00:30:25 --> 00:30:30

by Allah subhanaw taala, and deposited recorded in a local Mfu,

00:30:30 --> 00:30:32

the divine tablet before the creation of the heavens and earth,

00:30:33 --> 00:30:37

Allah created a defined tablets like a tablet, right? A storage

00:30:37 --> 00:30:41

place to write, and a pen, told a pen to write depends on what am I

00:30:41 --> 00:30:44

going to write. So Allah said, you're going to write everything

00:30:44 --> 00:30:46

that is going to occur until the day of judgment.

00:30:47 --> 00:30:50

So essentially, Allah is providing the feed to the pen to write all

00:30:50 --> 00:30:53

of these things out. So he wrote everything. So everything we do

00:30:53 --> 00:30:56

now is already written, because Allah knew what we were going to

00:30:56 --> 00:31:00

do with our free will. Right? So the Quran is all there. It was

00:31:00 --> 00:31:03

taken from the abroad to the first heaven, on Leila to Qatar. And

00:31:03 --> 00:31:06

then the first revelation of Accra bismi. Rebecca, the hollow came on

00:31:06 --> 00:31:08

the 17th of Ramadan.

00:31:09 --> 00:31:14

Okay, so Allah is saying here, that it's in the own Makita. It's

00:31:14 --> 00:31:17

in the mother of all books, the mother of all databases, the

00:31:17 --> 00:31:18

mother of all,

00:31:19 --> 00:31:25

you know, records. That's a local mouthful, which is with us, it's

00:31:25 --> 00:31:27

the protected one, nobody has access to it even that closest

00:31:27 --> 00:31:32

angels don't have access to it. You see, the original Quran is

00:31:32 --> 00:31:33

actually the wording of Allah.

00:31:34 --> 00:31:38

But there without wording. Allah doesn't speak with letters or

00:31:38 --> 00:31:38

words.

00:31:40 --> 00:31:43

Which is really weird. When people hear that for the first time,

00:31:43 --> 00:31:47

they're like, What do you mean? Let me ask you something. Right?

00:31:47 --> 00:31:54

Think of what you're going to eat for Iftar today. Right? Think what

00:31:54 --> 00:31:56

you're going to have for your next meal today. Don't say anything,

00:31:56 --> 00:31:58

just think, right?

00:31:59 --> 00:32:03

Did you speak in your heart? Or did you

00:32:04 --> 00:32:08

just imagine it? You are speaking to yourself, I'm going to have

00:32:08 --> 00:32:11

this I'm going to have that you are not saying it in any language.

00:32:11 --> 00:32:14

There's no language inside. The only time you think in a language

00:32:14 --> 00:32:18

is when you're preparing a speech. What should I say? What words

00:32:18 --> 00:32:19

should I use? That's when you think

00:32:21 --> 00:32:24

these words. Otherwise you don't think in a language you don't need

00:32:24 --> 00:32:31

words, to speak. Right? You don't need words and letters. This you

00:32:31 --> 00:32:34

need just to transfer to others. Right.

00:32:35 --> 00:32:38

In fact, today we have communication through bits. We

00:32:38 --> 00:32:41

have communication through other types of information. Allah

00:32:41 --> 00:32:45

doesn't need words are letters, he is beyond that. So the original

00:32:45 --> 00:32:49

speech which is from eternity, the Quran, and others, that has been

00:32:49 --> 00:32:53

around for as long as Allah has been around, but nobody could

00:32:53 --> 00:32:56

understand that. So that's why Allah subhanaw taala had it

00:32:56 --> 00:33:00

written in Arabic as the Quran for us. He had it written in Aramaic

00:33:00 --> 00:33:04

or Hebrew or whatever, as the Torah for the Torah message, and

00:33:04 --> 00:33:08

made it relevant to our time. Otherwise, the original speakers

00:33:08 --> 00:33:11

without words or letters, it is the speech, the divine speech of

00:33:11 --> 00:33:15

Allah, which is uncreated. But this Quran that we have before us

00:33:15 --> 00:33:19

is published, printed and created. Okay, that's in brief, I would

00:33:19 --> 00:33:22

suggest that when you have a time, then to understand more of these

00:33:22 --> 00:33:25

Aqeedah issues, you can actually consult our Aki that the how he

00:33:25 --> 00:33:29

lectures on zum zum Academy, or you can consult our vocal physical

00:33:29 --> 00:33:32

Akbar commentary of Imam Abu Hanifa selfie Collabra, which has

00:33:32 --> 00:33:35

been published by White Throne you can read that, that will give you

00:33:35 --> 00:33:39

a better understanding of the difference between the kalam of

00:33:39 --> 00:33:42

Allah the divine kalam of Allah and then the kalam that he gave us

00:33:42 --> 00:33:47

the speech that is in front of us today, which are his words, but he

00:33:47 --> 00:33:52

created them for us to be able to understand and to relate to okay

00:33:52 --> 00:33:57

now to move on Allah subhanho wa Taala after discussing the Quran

00:33:57 --> 00:34:00

and so on at the beginning, Allah subhanaw taala explains a few

00:34:00 --> 00:34:05

characteristics of himself and some of the signs as well. And

00:34:05 --> 00:34:08

some of the signs that you see in verse 12 and 14 are very relevant

00:34:08 --> 00:34:12

to us. Well of the Holocaust as well as Akula. Allah is the One

00:34:12 --> 00:34:16

who basically created all the pairs were janela communal full

00:34:16 --> 00:34:20

key, well an anima Turkey baboon, and then he created from full can

00:34:20 --> 00:34:24

an arm that which you write an ARMA cattle basically that's

00:34:24 --> 00:34:27

animals, those that we do not create that are basically have got

00:34:27 --> 00:34:30

nothing to do with us. It's up to Allah Who creates them, cattle,

00:34:30 --> 00:34:35

animals, right, that's an arm full then essentially refers to any

00:34:35 --> 00:34:39

vessel that we create. So that could refer to a ship in those

00:34:39 --> 00:34:43

days a boat, right? And today, it could refer to the most

00:34:43 --> 00:34:44

sophisticated means of

00:34:47 --> 00:34:51

transport, right that's full crew you Letus the war Allah Who

00:34:51 --> 00:34:54

resubmitted Curonian Matata become either stoic now listen to this

00:34:56 --> 00:34:59

is a stairway to it once you get on to the animal into the back of

00:34:59 --> 00:34:59

the animal or whatever

00:35:00 --> 00:35:04

All right, what's the Hulu and then you say Subhana Allah the

00:35:04 --> 00:35:08

Sahara Luna Harada. On our canola who McAleenan. We're in Isla

00:35:08 --> 00:35:13

Rabina, lemon Cali Boone, this is the dua. This is one of the few to

00:35:13 --> 00:35:16

ask for a specific instance, or specific act that are mentioned in

00:35:16 --> 00:35:21

the Quran, which is basically, it's not the traveling door, that

00:35:21 --> 00:35:24

there's a separate door for traveling. This is just about

00:35:24 --> 00:35:28

whenever you mount anything to write it, whether that be your

00:35:28 --> 00:35:31

bike or whatever, you should read this. So it basically means

00:35:33 --> 00:35:37

purified is he who subjugated this for us, who allowed us to control

00:35:37 --> 00:35:38

this.

00:35:39 --> 00:35:43

Animals don't ride bikes, generally, for example, or cars

00:35:43 --> 00:35:46

for that matter. Well, now I couldn't tell who McAleenan we

00:35:46 --> 00:35:50

would not have been able to do this by ourselves. Right and to

00:35:50 --> 00:35:53

him, then we're going to return so also it's when you're doing this,

00:35:54 --> 00:35:56

Allah has given us this to use but we're going to go back to Allah,

00:35:56 --> 00:35:59

it reminds us of Allah subhanaw taala. Again, thereafter, there's

00:35:59 --> 00:36:04

a big discussion here. And maybe that's the follow on from the

00:36:04 --> 00:36:07

whole daughter and son discussion there that Allah already preempted

00:36:07 --> 00:36:11

in the previous surah. He gives daughters we wish will give some

00:36:11 --> 00:36:17

soon wishes. Now here in verse 1718. They depict the horror and

00:36:17 --> 00:36:21

the disgust and the huge anguish that will be brought up by

00:36:21 --> 00:36:22

somebody having a daughter

00:36:24 --> 00:36:28

right. Now if they had their way of abortion in those days and the

00:36:28 --> 00:36:31

way to ultrasound check, you know whether there would have been a

00:36:31 --> 00:36:33

lot of abortions in those days, but they had no way to check they

00:36:33 --> 00:36:36

have to wait until they were born. And then if it was a girl Subhan

00:36:36 --> 00:36:40

Allah Allah says this So graphically, were either Bucha or

00:36:40 --> 00:36:44

Duhem. Be Madonna Valley Rama Annie methylene Vula which who who

00:36:44 --> 00:36:48

was sweat then what were Kaleem when they given the glad tidings

00:36:48 --> 00:36:51

this seriously should have been glad tiding so Allah uses that

00:36:51 --> 00:36:51

word

00:36:53 --> 00:36:58

about that which they provide as examples for Allah for Ramadan.

00:36:58 --> 00:37:00

What does that mean? That's adding something else? They used to say

00:37:00 --> 00:37:04

that the angels are the daughters of the of Allah, the angels are

00:37:04 --> 00:37:06

the daughters of Allah. Right?

00:37:07 --> 00:37:11

Right. So Allah is saying that you want to make angels Daughters of

00:37:11 --> 00:37:14

Allah but you don't want doses for yourself what kind of a blasphemy

00:37:14 --> 00:37:19

is that? His face becomes darkened, and he becomes totally

00:37:19 --> 00:37:21

overtaken by anguish.

00:37:22 --> 00:37:25

And then Allah says element Yuna shadow Phil Hillier, oval

00:37:25 --> 00:37:29

Hisamitsu Roma, when you're attributing that to Allah, those

00:37:29 --> 00:37:35

beings to Allah who generally brought up in Hillier in

00:37:36 --> 00:37:40

adornments, because it's girls that we don't I mean, hopefully we

00:37:40 --> 00:37:43

never don't boys the way we do girls, for girls is natural, we

00:37:43 --> 00:37:48

should do that, you know, we can do that. It's, it's, it's natural

00:37:48 --> 00:37:51

for that. And there's no blameworthiness in that. And

00:37:51 --> 00:37:54

sometimes they're not even very clear in articulation sometimes.

00:37:55 --> 00:37:59

Right? That's what Allah subhanaw taala mentions here. When you're a

00:37:59 --> 00:38:02

little Mala Agatha, Lillian Homi Bhabha, Rahmani Natha and they

00:38:02 --> 00:38:05

designated the servants of Allah angels were servants of Allah,

00:38:05 --> 00:38:06

they made them feminine.

00:38:08 --> 00:38:12

A che to Hongkong I mean, did they witness their birth their

00:38:12 --> 00:38:17

creation? So, Allah subhanho wa Taala is challenged in a way you

00:38:17 --> 00:38:18

are getting these weird ideas from

00:38:20 --> 00:38:25

thereafter, from verse 36 onwards, then Allah subhanaw taala mentions

00:38:25 --> 00:38:28

the father of all Gambia, the father of the Prophet sallallahu

00:38:28 --> 00:38:31

Sallam as well. Ibrahim Al Islam is discussion with his father, a B

00:38:31 --> 00:38:36

that's made mentioned in basics but then it always is always to

00:38:36 --> 00:38:39

give example because they used to claim that they are on the faith

00:38:39 --> 00:38:41

of Ibrahim you know, in some moments, that's what they would

00:38:41 --> 00:38:44

say because that was kind of the he was the last prophet

00:38:45 --> 00:38:48

with a smile on his on their in the area. They had a bit of

00:38:48 --> 00:38:51

remnants on it. Oh, we're under Dino Ibrahim. That's why

00:38:51 --> 00:38:52

constantly

00:38:53 --> 00:38:56

Ibrahim Ali Sami saying we've called Abraham will you be he will

00:38:56 --> 00:38:59

call me Ibrahim has said to his father in that time, like what's

00:38:59 --> 00:39:02

wrong with you guys, right? That I am totally exonerated from what

00:39:02 --> 00:39:05

you worship. Except the One who created me he's the one who's

00:39:05 --> 00:39:06

gonna guide me.

00:39:08 --> 00:39:12

And Jada Kellyanne bottom Berthiot and Fiocchi be that was a formula

00:39:12 --> 00:39:15

of belief in Allah was a formula that was left after Ibrahim Al

00:39:15 --> 00:39:18

Islam in everybody that was to come after him. So what's wrong

00:39:18 --> 00:39:21

with you people? Why have you lost that? thereafter? The Prophet

00:39:21 --> 00:39:25

sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is inviting them they call him

00:39:25 --> 00:39:28

magician. And they said that he's doing magic. So all of that is

00:39:28 --> 00:39:32

then being discussed that this is just pure ignorance that you're

00:39:32 --> 00:39:37

saying. So if you look at verse 31, are called Lola Zilla the

00:39:37 --> 00:39:40

Quran or Allah or Julie middle Korea Tanea. Aleem right now this

00:39:41 --> 00:39:44

the one before that was about the magic but now this one is they had

00:39:44 --> 00:39:48

this idea that the two big cities of Arabia of the time were maca,

00:39:48 --> 00:39:52

maca, Rama and thought if and they both had leaders that were well

00:39:52 --> 00:39:57

known, and they were like the Supreme. So they're saying that

00:39:57 --> 00:39:59

look, if Allah wants you to send it, why don't you just send it to

00:39:59 --> 00:39:59

me?

00:40:00 --> 00:40:03

One of the major people one of the most important imposing

00:40:03 --> 00:40:07

individuals of one of these two major cities or major areas, so

00:40:07 --> 00:40:10

he's referring to Typhon Maka, so Allah is saying to them a homey

00:40:10 --> 00:40:15

oxymoron or Ramita robic, are they in charge of dividing the Mercy of

00:40:15 --> 00:40:19

your Lord? Nano custom nabina my Isha don't, they don't even have,

00:40:20 --> 00:40:23

they don't even have control over what they earn and their

00:40:23 --> 00:40:27

sustenance and their provisions, nano Kasam now by being a

00:40:27 --> 00:40:30

homemaker, you should only hire the dunya were the ones who divide

00:40:30 --> 00:40:33

the living sustenance and

00:40:34 --> 00:40:39

expenses etc, in this dunya we world and we basically make some

00:40:39 --> 00:40:42

of them above others. So it's up to Allah Who He gives it to you

00:40:42 --> 00:40:49

think this your team, often poor individual, right, cannot be a

00:40:49 --> 00:40:53

prophet. Now, a very important verse that I want to point your

00:40:54 --> 00:40:57

attention to which you should again, it's similar to another

00:40:57 --> 00:41:01

verse, which we did before. Waka Jana, long Khurana of ASEAN, Hula,

00:41:01 --> 00:41:04

hula baignade. And this one is verse 36. Look at this carefully,

00:41:04 --> 00:41:07

right. If you're looking at a translation, look at it carefully,

00:41:07 --> 00:41:09

while many actual undecorated, Rahmani

00:41:10 --> 00:41:15

whoever stays away and abandons and shuns the remembrance of Allah

00:41:15 --> 00:41:18

remembrance of the Merciful One, you don't have a vicar regimen,

00:41:18 --> 00:41:22

you don't even make your prayer properly. And your prayer even if

00:41:22 --> 00:41:25

we do it's just ritual we don't even remember a line it Allah,

00:41:25 --> 00:41:30

Allah protect us, you have to have a vicar regimen. Right? Simple 100

00:41:30 --> 00:41:33

is stick for morning and evening. Hundreds Durood Sharif Salawat in

00:41:33 --> 00:41:36

the morning and evening, La ilaha illallah 100 times come on, this

00:41:36 --> 00:41:40

is the minimum. So whoever stays away from the remembrance of the

00:41:40 --> 00:41:45

Rockman right in any shape form, naka de la who shaytaan we

00:41:45 --> 00:41:48

basically designate a shade on the subject at shaytaan. For him for

00:41:48 --> 00:41:52

who Allah Who currency becomes his close accomplice his close,

00:41:52 --> 00:41:57

intimate accomplice. That's a very dreadful. That's a very dreadful

00:41:57 --> 00:42:01

thoughts. Right, that's a very terrifying thought that, you know,

00:42:01 --> 00:42:03

if we don't do thicker, then we're going to have the shaytaan with us

00:42:03 --> 00:42:07

all the time. Then imagine what options we have afterwards. Why

00:42:07 --> 00:42:10

normally should do No Man's to be any Sybil. They're gonna then

00:42:10 --> 00:42:11

surely

00:42:12 --> 00:42:13

prevent them from the path.

00:42:15 --> 00:42:17

But they're going to think that they're guided. Okay to move on

00:42:17 --> 00:42:18

now.

00:42:20 --> 00:42:24

Allah subhanaw taala mentioned several other things here.

00:42:25 --> 00:42:28

Musa alayhis salam story is mentioned. And again, the reason

00:42:28 --> 00:42:30

is because there's a lot of parallels that the people of

00:42:30 --> 00:42:33

Makkah could draw, and we can draw as well, because Pharaoh had

00:42:33 --> 00:42:37

everything he had, you know, if you if you study Egyptology I

00:42:37 --> 00:42:40

mean, I, I studied a bit of each Egyptology where a teacher endowed

00:42:40 --> 00:42:44

Allume you know, he was an Egyptologist and Masha Allah, you

00:42:44 --> 00:42:47

know, what they had what Pharaoh had been given by Allah, which

00:42:47 --> 00:42:50

Musa mentioned that, you know, you've given him all of this,

00:42:50 --> 00:42:55

right? In sort of Yunus, you've given when he just eventually all

00:42:55 --> 00:43:00

of that was destroyed. He had rows and rows of chariots he had

00:43:01 --> 00:43:07

the orchard see had the trees, he had animals, he had slaves. And

00:43:07 --> 00:43:12

basically that Egypt was lush at that time, he had all the gold he

00:43:12 --> 00:43:15

wanted. That's why you're discovering all the sarcophagi and

00:43:15 --> 00:43:18

all of these other things in the in the in these, you know,

00:43:19 --> 00:43:25

in these tombs. And but it's a massive story. If you think about

00:43:25 --> 00:43:29

Pharaoh story, Egyptology is a big lesson. Right? Of course, it's a

00:43:29 --> 00:43:33

big economy for the Egyptians today, right? Maybe some baraka

00:43:33 --> 00:43:36

for something that they done. But anyway, at the end of the day,

00:43:36 --> 00:43:40

that's what we're looking at that all of that if you if you're

00:43:40 --> 00:43:43

magnifying people with wealth, and so on and why this your team or

00:43:43 --> 00:43:46

your team was given the prophecy, understand that this is completely

00:43:46 --> 00:43:51

the wrong way. Look at Pharaoh story. He ended up dying, drown

00:43:51 --> 00:43:54

his ear saying amen to Amen to at that point did not have any

00:43:54 --> 00:43:57

benefit. And then he's mummified for everybody to see.

00:43:59 --> 00:44:03

There after that, I just want to point out a few other verses as we

00:44:03 --> 00:44:09

move towards the end. I've already pointed out verse 36, thereafter,

00:44:09 --> 00:44:14

another verse I want to point out is verse 67, Allahu Allah, we OMA

00:44:14 --> 00:44:19

even bout the homely better than I do when Ill talkin Allahu Akbar.

00:44:20 --> 00:44:26

Friends, close associates will all be enemies to one another on that

00:44:26 --> 00:44:31

day, except the righteous ones, the only ones that will look out

00:44:31 --> 00:44:35

for others are the righteous ones, the shefa will be given to them.

00:44:35 --> 00:44:38

They'll wonder, Hey, where's that guy who used to come to our

00:44:38 --> 00:44:42

classes? Who used to sit with us? We used to be part of our,

00:44:44 --> 00:44:46

you know, our efforts for the dean, where's he gone? It's only

00:44:46 --> 00:44:50

the righteous ones that are going to have any kind of selflessness

00:44:50 --> 00:44:52

on that day. Right?

00:44:53 --> 00:44:59

This is a major verse. That's why get associated with somebody. I

00:44:59 --> 00:45:00

don't have to trust

00:45:00 --> 00:45:03

Some myself, I'm hoping that the few good people that I have

00:45:03 --> 00:45:07

association with the that will be also used as inshallah with the

00:45:07 --> 00:45:11

prophecy Lawson's intercession that I'm just trying to magnify

00:45:11 --> 00:45:16

I'm trying to maximize my means. So don't shun the people of

00:45:16 --> 00:45:21

righteousness don't shun the people of Taqwa. Right? Even if

00:45:21 --> 00:45:23

you're not a personal Taqwa don't hate them because they're

00:45:23 --> 00:45:24

religious.

00:45:25 --> 00:45:28

Right? Just because you feel guilty when you see them and you

00:45:28 --> 00:45:31

think they're too religious for you. If they have true taqwa,

00:45:31 --> 00:45:35

right, then show them some respect. Show them make some

00:45:35 --> 00:45:38

connection with them. And in sha Allah, they're the only ones that

00:45:38 --> 00:45:41

you can maybe have some hope in after the Prophet sallallahu

00:45:41 --> 00:45:44

alayhi wa sallam with Allah subhanho wa taala. And then Allah

00:45:45 --> 00:45:49

mentioned the whole scenario, Cecilia a birdie. Oh my servants,

00:45:49 --> 00:45:52

la joven Ali conium. Today there's going to be no fear upon you.

00:45:53 --> 00:45:56

Whether untrimmed as unknown, and you're not going to grieve.

00:45:57 --> 00:46:01

Because these are the people who used to believe in our verses, and

00:46:01 --> 00:46:05

they will mostly mean or the whole Jana into the paradise into the

00:46:05 --> 00:46:09

gardens and tomorrow as well as you come, you and your spouse is

00:46:09 --> 00:46:10

talk Barone

00:46:11 --> 00:46:15

Allahu Akbar. There's a hadith in Bukhari that every male every man

00:46:15 --> 00:46:20

will have two spouses of the world aside from the whole dream. Right?

00:46:20 --> 00:46:23

But as I said, What is paradise without a spouse? So that's why

00:46:23 --> 00:46:26

there'll be two spouses. Most of you are thinking we only have one

00:46:26 --> 00:46:30

spouse in the world. So when the two there's a lot of unmarried

00:46:30 --> 00:46:34

people who die, you get a choice. Right? You get a choice.

00:46:34 --> 00:46:38

Everybody's gonna have to be married in paradise. So if you're

00:46:38 --> 00:46:39

not married here, you will be married in paradise, you'll have a

00:46:39 --> 00:46:44

spouse in paradise. So there'll be an Why is it two women to one man,

00:46:44 --> 00:46:47

simple, there's more women. Right? A lot of people get a

00:46:47 --> 00:46:49

misunderstanding about the Hadith of the Prophet, Allah somewhere.

00:46:49 --> 00:46:53

He spoke to the women on EDA, and he said that I've seen you know,

00:46:53 --> 00:46:57

many of you in hellfire. I have seen a lot of women hellfire, that

00:46:57 --> 00:46:59

doesn't mean that they all in hellfire.

00:47:00 --> 00:47:03

Right? That doesn't mean that even if we will go there, they're not

00:47:03 --> 00:47:06

going to come out. Right? It doesn't mean that there's not that

00:47:06 --> 00:47:09

many in paradise. The fact that this hadith and Buhari etc

00:47:09 --> 00:47:14

mentioned that every man will have two wives in in paradise show that

00:47:14 --> 00:47:20

there's going to be most likely double the women to men in

00:47:20 --> 00:47:24

paradise. Mashallah. Now, I know that when you hear this for the

00:47:24 --> 00:47:27

first time, a lot of women they find it well, what happens is

00:47:27 --> 00:47:30

they're, I feel it's just gonna be me and him. That's why I've had

00:47:30 --> 00:47:33

questions from him saying, what about if somebody just wants one,

00:47:34 --> 00:47:37

you know, just wants the husband to have just one in paradise. Is

00:47:37 --> 00:47:40

that possible? All I'm gonna say today is leave it to Allah.

00:47:40 --> 00:47:43

Because a lot of the time we expect that when we go on holiday,

00:47:43 --> 00:47:46

we're going to do this when you go there. Or when we go to a

00:47:46 --> 00:47:48

relative's house, in another country, we're going to do this,

00:47:48 --> 00:47:51

and you get there and you have to actually fit in, it's just better

00:47:51 --> 00:47:54

to do that. It's just easier and just more fun to do that.

00:47:55 --> 00:47:58

Remember, there's going to be no jealousy in paradise. I know this

00:47:58 --> 00:48:02

can be controversial. But this is the Hadith for you. And which is

00:48:02 --> 00:48:05

gives more chance there's just more women in the world than men.

00:48:05 --> 00:48:08

That's the statistic. What happens to all those women what's going to

00:48:08 --> 00:48:12

happen? You want to be you can't be single in paradise. You want to

00:48:12 --> 00:48:15

be in Paris, you need to be with a spouse. Right? It doesn't matter

00:48:15 --> 00:48:19

if you guy who's had problems with doing you hate women, women,

00:48:19 --> 00:48:22

there's people who have problems in marriages, and then they start

00:48:22 --> 00:48:25

hating women, as the women are problem. And then you got some

00:48:25 --> 00:48:28

women who for the rest of their life, just hate all men because

00:48:28 --> 00:48:31

they've had a problem with one or two men. These are not the way to

00:48:31 --> 00:48:35

think right? This is not the way this is just totally bad

00:48:35 --> 00:48:37

experience and you should not let yourself get down there and you

00:48:37 --> 00:48:40

should get help if you are there. But anyway, I just wanted to

00:48:40 --> 00:48:41

mention that. So Allah says

00:48:43 --> 00:48:46

Allah carries on I mean graphic discussion of paradise, Utah for

00:48:46 --> 00:48:50

lamb see half he means there had been a club you know, they being

00:48:50 --> 00:48:55

served by gold platters and cups glasses where he hermitage to heal

00:48:55 --> 00:48:58

and force whatever will argue and you will have in there whatever

00:48:58 --> 00:49:01

you enough desires and what is also what your I guess, finds

00:49:01 --> 00:49:05

pleasure in and you're going to be in there forever. Yeah, there's no

00:49:05 --> 00:49:08

there's no booking ending there. It's you get to Paradise. You

00:49:08 --> 00:49:12

don't get there by mistake. What they will call Jana Tula to refer

00:49:12 --> 00:49:16

to Habima condom time alone, right? These are the, this is the

00:49:16 --> 00:49:19

garden that you have been in, you have inherited because of what

00:49:19 --> 00:49:23

used to do. You have to do something is not just about

00:49:23 --> 00:49:26

intention. It's about doing something to the best of your

00:49:26 --> 00:49:31

ability. Even if we get it wrong, we do the best. Shoot in the right

00:49:31 --> 00:49:35

direction. Don't hit, try to hit the mark or get close. Don't go in

00:49:35 --> 00:49:38

another direction. That's what the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa

00:49:38 --> 00:49:40

sallam said, said they do what Haribo?

00:49:42 --> 00:49:45

Allah says, Looking VFR he hadn't get here automatically. You're

00:49:45 --> 00:49:47

going to have lots of fruits and things in there that you will eat.

00:49:48 --> 00:49:51

Then immediately afterwards, the moody mean the transgression,

00:49:51 --> 00:49:54

credit aggressors, the sinners, they're going to be added to

00:49:54 --> 00:49:57

jahannam forever, and it's never going to be lightened on them and

00:49:57 --> 00:49:59

so on and so forth. We didn't oppressed

00:50:00 --> 00:50:04

And they oppressed themselves. And whenever we are made equal to the

00:50:04 --> 00:50:09

Elena rabuka in the Komaki phone, they're gonna say to Malik, the

00:50:09 --> 00:50:12

god of hellfire, that you know, let your Lord just come and just

00:50:12 --> 00:50:17

finish us off. Death finish end, no perception, no sentience,

00:50:17 --> 00:50:21

nothing. So no, you're gonna have to stay in there like this in

00:50:21 --> 00:50:25

between. Feeling the punishment, Allahu Akbar. Because we came to

00:50:25 --> 00:50:29

the truth and you did not listen. Allah subhanho wa Taala help us

00:50:29 --> 00:50:34

anyway, this surah then ends with the Prophet sallallahu Sallam

00:50:34 --> 00:50:38

being told that look, just ignore the ignorant ones. And

00:50:40 --> 00:50:43

phosphor and whom forgive them pardon them overlook them, they

00:50:43 --> 00:50:48

ignorant what cool Salah say salam for Sophia the moon, because soon

00:50:48 --> 00:50:53

they're going to know. And by that The chapter ends, now we start

00:50:53 --> 00:50:57

sort of to do Han Solo to the Han is an amazing surah and Allahu

00:50:57 --> 00:51:00

Akbar, we've got two suitors left, and we got a very short amount of

00:51:00 --> 00:51:05

time left. May Allah help us so to do Han is something that there's a

00:51:05 --> 00:51:10

lot of virtue to recite, because it's very reflective sutra. Again,

00:51:10 --> 00:51:14

it's a ha meme, very lyrical, beautiful to recite, and it has a

00:51:14 --> 00:51:19

very prominent discussion of the Hereafter of Jahannam as well. And

00:51:19 --> 00:51:23

it has some examples of the Bani Israel and how they were saved

00:51:23 --> 00:51:26

from the Pharaoh. So it has a lot of lessons as well. Allah subhanho

00:51:26 --> 00:51:31

wa Taala starts hammy by the wall kita will move in by the

00:51:31 --> 00:51:36

Clearbrook in the unzila who feel at Mobile raka we see Allah is

00:51:36 --> 00:51:38

telling us different things at the beginning of all of these tours

00:51:38 --> 00:51:42

different aspects of the Quran, right? In the in the previous one

00:51:42 --> 00:51:46

Allah subhanaw taala had told us how Amin will kita will Marina

00:51:46 --> 00:51:49

Jana who Quran and r&b and right made it into an Arabic looking

00:51:49 --> 00:51:52

document and it's in the local muffled in this one Allah is

00:51:52 --> 00:51:54

saying we revealed it

00:51:55 --> 00:52:00

in a blessed night in sortal in South Africa will tell us what

00:52:00 --> 00:52:03

that night was. But yes, a blessed night. Many Allamah say this is

00:52:03 --> 00:52:04

obviously Leila to Qatar.

00:52:06 --> 00:52:10

And that is the night in New Franco Kulu Ambreen Hakeem every

00:52:10 --> 00:52:13

matter is decided and distinguished in that night, for

00:52:13 --> 00:52:15

the next year and so on. I'm Ramona Indiana in Hakuna mursaleen

00:52:15 --> 00:52:19

Ramita Moravec in our semi Rolandi when you know the because that's

00:52:19 --> 00:52:24

such a important night. That's why for Muslims who worship in there,

00:52:24 --> 00:52:28

it's better than alpha shahada 1000 months of worship and so on.

00:52:28 --> 00:52:32

Whether that be your donations, or your Salah to your vicar or

00:52:32 --> 00:52:36

whatever the case is. Then Allah subhanaw taala carries on the

00:52:36 --> 00:52:38

discussion that they are in doubt and so on.

00:52:39 --> 00:52:44

Now, the reason why this surah it's called su to Doohan, alright,

00:52:44 --> 00:52:49

Doohan means smoke, smoke. Why is it called smoke, right? I can just

00:52:49 --> 00:52:52

imagine somebody saying, brother, It's haram to smoke because Allah

00:52:52 --> 00:52:55

or it's halal to smoke because it's mentioned in the Quran, you

00:52:55 --> 00:52:59

get some crazy istead lulls like this extrapolations like this,

00:52:59 --> 00:53:03

sort of the Doohan is a murky sort of just three sections they've

00:53:03 --> 00:53:06

been split into, as it means smoke, and the reason for it is

00:53:06 --> 00:53:08

that there is a discussion of smoke in the backdrop of this

00:53:08 --> 00:53:15

surah I think, the suburban Azul is that there was a huge famine

00:53:15 --> 00:53:21

that undertook Makkah. And the Prophet saw some SLR some is now

00:53:23 --> 00:53:26

approached by Abu Sofia and one of the leaders of the co founder of

00:53:26 --> 00:53:30

Quraysh. And he's saying that please pray that this is removed

00:53:30 --> 00:53:36

from us. You see, Abu Sufyan, I believe always had a sight to him.

00:53:36 --> 00:53:39

Right. And there's reasons for that which I can't go into right

00:53:39 --> 00:53:42

now. I've mentioned it before, and he is the Father on why we are the

00:53:42 --> 00:53:46

Allah one. That's why out of most of the leaders have the courage

00:53:46 --> 00:53:50

they were either all killed or died. Without Islam. He actually

00:53:50 --> 00:53:55

became Muslim afterwards with his wife, even though she was very

00:53:55 --> 00:53:58

aggressive, right in what she did to Hamza, the Allah, one person

00:53:58 --> 00:54:02

didn't want to look at her. At that time. She becomes a Muslim,

00:54:03 --> 00:54:06

and he becomes a Muslim. I believe this hiring somebody if there's

00:54:06 --> 00:54:10

good, so one day it will prevail. Anyway. So

00:54:11 --> 00:54:14

he came in, why did he come to Rome to make dua? Right, they

00:54:14 --> 00:54:17

hated him so much. So it was lifted.

00:54:18 --> 00:54:22

And it was lifted, but then they went back to their normal ways. So

00:54:22 --> 00:54:24

when we get to it, I'll explain that

00:54:27 --> 00:54:32

first discussion, if you look at verse nine, again, it's clarifying

00:54:32 --> 00:54:35

resurrection and so on Allah is the One who gives life and death

00:54:35 --> 00:54:40

and so on fear our own and all of that is discussed the whole fact

00:54:40 --> 00:54:44

about Pharaoh and everything that he had, but in so many verses that

00:54:44 --> 00:54:48

discussion is there that it came to no avail to him all right. And

00:54:48 --> 00:54:51

most artists that are mashallah survived with his people and they

00:54:51 --> 00:54:56

were actually made inheritors of so if you look at

00:54:57 --> 00:54:59

Allah actually now discusses all of these riches

00:55:00 --> 00:55:06

If you if you look at verse 2425 cantata comin Jannetty What are

00:55:06 --> 00:55:10

you and after they were destroyed? How many orchards and gardens did

00:55:10 --> 00:55:15

they leave and streams were Zulu and farms, plots crops were

00:55:15 --> 00:55:18

McCollum in Kareem and beautiful buildings and so on, we're not

00:55:18 --> 00:55:21

gonna go and we'll see how fucking that they used to enjoy themselves

00:55:21 --> 00:55:25

or these gifts and bounties, because Erlich, this is exactly

00:55:25 --> 00:55:29

what oh rathna Coleman our Hareem we basically made inheritance to

00:55:29 --> 00:55:31

other people, some the minutes it took them, maybe there were other

00:55:31 --> 00:55:35

people afterwards, and the earth and the heavens did not cry over

00:55:35 --> 00:55:39

them. They did not basically grieve the fact that they had gone

00:55:39 --> 00:55:44

Good riddance, right? And we basically gave we gave salvation

00:55:44 --> 00:55:49

to the Bani Israel. We we saved the Bani Israel, Iran from the

00:55:49 --> 00:55:52

Pharaoh. And that discussion is there then as you move on.

00:55:53 --> 00:55:57

Allah subhanaw taala then discusses the last several verses

00:55:57 --> 00:55:58

from

00:55:59 --> 00:56:02

you can say from verse 44, you'll have to read those for yourself.

00:56:02 --> 00:56:07

That's a graphic discussion of hellfire. And in the Allah

00:56:07 --> 00:56:10

subhanaw taala talks about when he says, Look,

00:56:12 --> 00:56:17

taste it habit, this boiling hot water is going to basically burn

00:56:17 --> 00:56:20

up your insides. That's all you've got going for you, Allahu Akbar.

00:56:20 --> 00:56:24

And then after that, it talks about the Moroccan, the righteous

00:56:24 --> 00:56:30

ones, and all that they're going to get. And just to reiterate the

00:56:30 --> 00:56:30

point about

00:56:32 --> 00:56:36

the Doohan of why this surah is called the Doohan. I just want to

00:56:36 --> 00:56:38

mention that to you quickly, right.

00:56:39 --> 00:56:42

1011 for Turkey,

00:56:43 --> 00:56:46

wait until that day comes.

00:56:48 --> 00:56:50

Wait, sorry, wait until that day when the

00:56:51 --> 00:56:56

the sky brings forth this clear smoke that will

00:56:58 --> 00:57:03

cover everybody. This is a punishment for you. So then, they

00:57:03 --> 00:57:05

came to the rockstars and said, Rob, the next shift, handle other

00:57:05 --> 00:57:10

job, remove this punishment for us, we will be believers. But they

00:57:10 --> 00:57:14

didn't. So some of us even have said that this refers to that

00:57:14 --> 00:57:17

incident with Abu Sufyan that I mentioned, while others say that

00:57:17 --> 00:57:21

refers closer to the day of judgment. What this was, is that

00:57:21 --> 00:57:24

because there was so much famine, and people were suffering

00:57:24 --> 00:57:29

extremely from extreme hunger, what that used to do is it used to

00:57:29 --> 00:57:33

disorient them. So they used to everything was kind of muddy, and

00:57:33 --> 00:57:37

smoky around them. I've never experienced that. So I can, you

00:57:37 --> 00:57:40

know, I can't relate to it. But apparently when you're in that

00:57:40 --> 00:57:44

kind of state, it's just all muddy because you don't have the fluids.

00:57:44 --> 00:57:48

You don't have the nourishment in your body. So that is why it's

00:57:48 --> 00:57:52

called the smoke. That's the kind of smoke it's disgusting. And yes,

00:57:52 --> 00:57:54

smoking is haram to begin

00:57:55 --> 00:58:01

and dislike to continue. If you already stuck on it, then you

00:58:01 --> 00:58:04

should try to get out of it. Ramadan is the best time for it.

00:58:04 --> 00:58:07

But if you're not into smoking, my little brothers and sisters, then

00:58:07 --> 00:58:11

it's haram for you to start. It's hugely harmful and a big waste of

00:58:11 --> 00:58:16

money on top of that. Alright, so at least Makuta hurry, right to

00:58:16 --> 00:58:21

start and to continue. Then some other maps that is makaridze to

00:58:21 --> 00:58:24

continue, but it's bad regardless.

00:58:26 --> 00:58:29

Okay, the last what are we going to call this through Soulja Thea?

00:58:29 --> 00:58:34

This is another sort of HA meme, which is a Maki Surah 37 verses

00:58:34 --> 00:58:40

four sections. And again, it starts 10 00 kita beaming Hola,

00:58:40 --> 00:58:45

hola. Aziz al Hakim, revelation of the Book from Allah, the mighty

00:58:45 --> 00:58:48

and the wise one, the powerful one. And in the face somewhere, it

00:58:48 --> 00:58:51

will all die at any moment. It just starts off with telling you

00:58:51 --> 00:58:56

to read the outside book. This is a book you read inside the outside

00:58:56 --> 00:59:00

book of the heavens, in verily in the heavens and the earth are

00:59:00 --> 00:59:04

clear signs for the believers. And Wolfie hulky common in your own

00:59:04 --> 00:59:08

creation. And in that which Allah has spread of the beasts is

00:59:08 --> 00:59:11

totally calm. You can for those who are convinced there's lots of

00:59:11 --> 00:59:15

signing their walk the lovely lady when not a number of signs I

00:59:15 --> 00:59:19

mentioned it's a sign it's a sort of full of signs. What does Jaffe

00:59:19 --> 00:59:22

mean? Let's get to the verse and we'll discuss it there. But

00:59:22 --> 00:59:23

basically Jaffe means

00:59:24 --> 00:59:30

to be on your knees. Right? To be on your knees to be basically

00:59:30 --> 00:59:38

stooped. Right? In, in horror, in need in a vulnerable state. So

00:59:38 --> 00:59:40

it's a depiction of the Day of Judgment.

00:59:41 --> 00:59:45

Right, lots of discussion about Allah subhanaw taala is Gela his

00:59:45 --> 00:59:49

greatness, His Majesty, his awesome power, His omnipotence,

00:59:49 --> 00:59:52

and everything like that. Then there's some discussion about the

00:59:52 --> 00:59:59

Bani Israel from verse seven to nine. You You have obviously a

01:00:00 --> 01:00:01

discussion again about

01:00:03 --> 01:00:06

the people of Makkah listening, not listening properly to the

01:00:06 --> 01:00:09

Quran, refusing to listen to the Quran acting arrogantly against

01:00:09 --> 01:00:12

the Quran so on. Then after that Allah subhanaw taala mentions a

01:00:12 --> 01:00:19

number of His bounties, especially on the Bani Israel talks about the

01:00:19 --> 01:00:23

book that he gave them. The prophecy gave them food, right,

01:00:23 --> 01:00:27

special divine food he gave them and he gave them lots of things

01:00:27 --> 01:00:30

they've not given to anybody else for the law over lots of others.

01:00:31 --> 01:00:36

But they did not listen. So from verse 16, to 17, you can you can

01:00:36 --> 01:00:40

read that, that's there. Thereafter. This is all if you

01:00:40 --> 01:00:44

look from verse 2425. This is to tell the people of Makkah, that

01:00:44 --> 01:00:47

all of these things have been repeated before this is a cycle.

01:00:47 --> 01:00:52

And they used to think the dunya is everything. So if you look at

01:00:52 --> 01:00:58

verse 24, and 25, you'll you'll see a lie saying a lie saying,

01:00:58 --> 01:01:02

this is the only life there's no life after this. This is what they

01:01:02 --> 01:01:06

would say. Another beautiful verse here, which we just passed is

01:01:06 --> 01:01:09

verse 9020. How other bizarre, eerily nasty well, who don't want

01:01:09 --> 01:01:14

medical Miyuki? No, these are clear guidances for the people,

01:01:14 --> 01:01:18

right and mercy for those who believe this is now if you if you

01:01:18 --> 01:01:23

carry on and you read verse 2728, for Allah is the kingdom of the

01:01:23 --> 01:01:28

heavens and earth. And the day the final day occurs, the when the day

01:01:28 --> 01:01:29

of judgment occurs.

01:01:30 --> 01:01:35

It says then what are called lomatin Jaffe, you'll see all of

01:01:35 --> 01:01:40

the various different communities or nations in this vulnerable

01:01:40 --> 01:01:40

state.

01:01:41 --> 01:01:45

Right, every nation will be invited to its records. Today, you

01:01:45 --> 01:01:49

will be recompense for what you used to do. They're gonna say,

01:01:49 --> 01:01:50

this is our book.

01:01:51 --> 01:01:55

No, Allah said, this is our book that's going to reveal everything

01:01:55 --> 01:02:00

to speak to you with the truth. And we used to write down

01:02:00 --> 01:02:03

everything that's used to do. And then Allah subhanaw taala

01:02:03 --> 01:02:07

mentioned what's going to happen to the people who are good, and,

01:02:08 --> 01:02:12

and then the people who are bad. And Allah says Wakita, Yeoman and

01:02:12 --> 01:02:18

circle, if you look in verse 34. Today, we make you forgotten, just

01:02:18 --> 01:02:23

like you forgot our meeting day of today. And your abode is the

01:02:23 --> 01:02:26

hellfire, and you have no assistance today. That's because

01:02:26 --> 01:02:29

used to make fun of my verses of our verses.

01:02:30 --> 01:02:34

And the dunya, you're allowed the dunya to basically deceive you. So

01:02:34 --> 01:02:38

today you can be taken out of it. Then finally finished. Finally,

01:02:38 --> 01:02:42

Allah Hill hamdu. Robison, it will be out of the rubble. I mean, so

01:02:42 --> 01:02:46

for Allah is all praise, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth.

01:02:46 --> 01:02:49

And Lord of All the Worlds. Well, the whole Kibriya of His summer

01:02:49 --> 01:02:54

worth a lot for him is the majesty and the greatness in the heavens

01:02:54 --> 01:02:58

and the earth will who will as he is, Will Hakeem. And he is the

01:02:58 --> 01:03:03

mighty, and the wise one. And that is how this surah ends with all of

01:03:03 --> 01:03:04

this graphic

01:03:05 --> 01:03:12

description. And by that our 26th 25th years has also finished

01:03:12 --> 01:03:16

Alhamdulillah we have just five to go I remember when we finished

01:03:16 --> 01:03:20

five and like 25 to go, we have just five to go in sha Allah, stay

01:03:20 --> 01:03:24

with us, and inshallah we will complete this together. We're

01:03:24 --> 01:03:29

still wondering how we're going to complete this. If Ramadan is a 29

01:03:29 --> 01:03:34

day, we're just hoping to Turkey into not sure Turkey and Saudi are

01:03:34 --> 01:03:38

gonna announce we'll see what happens. Right? If they give us 30

01:03:38 --> 01:03:43

days, we'll finish otherwise we'll have to do 30 days. The 30th Jews

01:03:43 --> 01:03:47

afterwards also considered to do to Jews in one day just to preempt

01:03:47 --> 01:03:54

a 29 day, right. But to to Jews will be a bit heavy, especially

01:03:54 --> 01:03:56

now that you're getting more sewers Hamdulillah. Today, we had

01:03:56 --> 01:04:00

a bit of Baraka that we actually completed this in less time. But

01:04:00 --> 01:04:05

anyway, just let's quickly do our recap. Right Surah two Shura

01:04:05 --> 01:04:08

begins, we obviously had a part of the previous Surah Surah Assura

01:04:08 --> 01:04:12

begins with mention of the Quran and and so on. And Allah subhanaw

01:04:12 --> 01:04:16

taala chooses whom he wishes for his way and for his revelation.

01:04:17 --> 01:04:21

And it's not for anybody else to do that. Allah. There's the

01:04:21 --> 01:04:24

discussion of Shura, right of mutual consultation and the other

01:04:24 --> 01:04:28

characteristics that believers should have. And then there is

01:04:28 --> 01:04:32

also the recommendation for forgiving and pardoning, right.

01:04:33 --> 01:04:36

Especially this is only good actually, when it's going to

01:04:36 --> 01:04:39

reform if you keep pardon, it's going to make them worse than

01:04:39 --> 01:04:43

that's not good pardoning right there after that. Allah subhanaw

01:04:43 --> 01:04:47

taala discusses how he gives children to whom he wishes, right,

01:04:47 --> 01:04:52

male, female, and so on. And he finishes off with the discussion

01:04:52 --> 01:04:55

about the rule. So the rule has actually mentioned as well, right?

01:04:55 --> 01:04:59

May Allah subhanaw taala enliven our our rule as well? Then

01:05:00 --> 01:05:03

order to Zuko begins by first discussion discussing the Quran

01:05:03 --> 01:05:07

talking about the Mushrikeen and their problems and their following

01:05:07 --> 01:05:10

in their forefathers without any kind of evidence just because your

01:05:10 --> 01:05:13

father, father your culture do this. Today we don't have we don't

01:05:13 --> 01:05:17

say for Father we have culture, right? Similar kind of idea. Not

01:05:17 --> 01:05:19

all cultures, but some sort of culture is very good. You got

01:05:19 --> 01:05:22

extreme some you'll say we need to abandon culture completely. That's

01:05:23 --> 01:05:25

silly and foolish. And somebody will say that we need full

01:05:25 --> 01:05:28

culture, nothing else that silly as well. It's in between because

01:05:28 --> 01:05:33

culture over time, develops certain bad ideas in there, right?

01:05:34 --> 01:05:38

Allah subhanaw taala and sort of verse 32 Nano custom nabina Maisha

01:05:38 --> 01:05:43

Dunkelheit dunya reminds us that Allah has divided our living,

01:05:44 --> 01:05:48

right in this world income and everything else. So we have to ask

01:05:48 --> 01:05:51

Allah nobody else then Allah subhanaw taala mentions about Be

01:05:51 --> 01:05:57

careful being careful of the evil accomplice have set shaytaan by

01:05:57 --> 01:06:01

avoiding vicar. All right, so do thicker and then you won't have

01:06:01 --> 01:06:02

that with us.

01:06:03 --> 01:06:07

Then about Pharaoh and so on and Musa alayhis salam and then the

01:06:07 --> 01:06:10

discussion about the people of the Phil hellfire and then saying to

01:06:10 --> 01:06:15

Malik to just end, turning Allah to stop. Then after that, sort of

01:06:15 --> 01:06:18

to de Haan begins with mention of the special night of lay little

01:06:18 --> 01:06:23

cutter. Right fee how you frog Coco Amarin Hakeem blessing month,

01:06:23 --> 01:06:26

right? So we're reciting this surah we've just understood it in

01:06:26 --> 01:06:29

the blessed month as well 100 Allah, may Allah increase the bulk

01:06:29 --> 01:06:32

of it for us, then Allah mentions that this life is just full of

01:06:32 --> 01:06:37

play and amusement don't make it that for yourself. Thereafter, the

01:06:37 --> 01:06:41

surah ends with in the shedule rotters zoom to animal theme, that

01:06:41 --> 01:06:48

this tree of zoom which is just ugly, right, lot of thorns and

01:06:48 --> 01:06:52

that that is going to be the food of the of the sinners of those who

01:06:52 --> 01:06:57

are going to read that verse 4443 and so on. And then contrast that

01:06:57 --> 01:07:00

within them with Tokina fee, McCollum and I mean fee Jannetty

01:07:00 --> 01:07:04

where you invest 5152 for the righteous ones. Then after we got

01:07:04 --> 01:07:09

Surah two Jana Thea hurl jazzier starts off with basically a survey

01:07:09 --> 01:07:11

of the heavens and the earth and all the bounties of Allah subhanaw

01:07:11 --> 01:07:17

taala. And everything begins from Allah, and belongs to Allah, and

01:07:17 --> 01:07:20

then condemns those who make fun of his signs, that you're just

01:07:20 --> 01:07:26

wasting your time. You're foolish, right? And thereafter, that there

01:07:26 --> 01:07:30

is the ending, again, with a depiction of the terrors of the

01:07:30 --> 01:07:36

Day of Judgment, and how those who are sinners will come up, will be

01:07:36 --> 01:07:40

faring on that day and then it talks about the believers and they

01:07:41 --> 01:07:43

and their thoughts and their reward and their pleasures of

01:07:43 --> 01:07:47

paradise. So may Allah subhanho wa Taala allow us to continue to the

01:07:47 --> 01:07:51

rest. May Allah allow this to be a huge means of inspiration, not

01:07:51 --> 01:07:56

just for us but inshallah to change the environment in our

01:07:56 --> 01:08:00

homes and our families, so that our descendants after this can

01:08:00 --> 01:08:03

also benefit from our reading of this today. I know that's a huge

01:08:03 --> 01:08:07

dua it's a lot to ask, but nothing is too difficult and Allah

01:08:08 --> 01:08:11

working with that one and Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen
