Al hamdu Lillahi wa salatu salam ala so you didn't know serene

00:01:32 --> 00:01:38

while he was sabe he HMR in another part. So my dear friends,

00:01:38 --> 00:01:44

brothers sisters, wherever you are, in sha Allah you this first

00:01:44 --> 00:01:48

day of Ramadan was good for you. And may Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:01:48 --> 00:01:53

allow us to complete both our Ramadan and also our journey

00:01:53 --> 00:01:54

through the Quran.

00:01:56 --> 00:01:59

So today we begin the second use of the Quran. The second use of

00:01:59 --> 00:02:04

the Quran gets a lot more inclusive, a lot more

00:02:04 --> 00:02:11

comprehensive, in terms of the very specific rulings and related

00:02:11 --> 00:02:15

to the life both social life family life and individual life.

00:02:16 --> 00:02:21

And so almost perfect because the first just kind of sets the scene

00:02:21 --> 00:02:25

has an introduction. And now mashallah the second Jews. It

00:02:25 --> 00:02:30

provides a lot of the very specific details and rulings. It's

00:02:30 --> 00:02:33

like a manual. So inshallah you will see, however, the second just

00:02:34 --> 00:02:39

starts off with the discussion about the change of the Qibla. The

00:02:39 --> 00:02:41

change of the qibla, almost like you can say,

00:02:42 --> 00:02:48

Islam, the worship in Islam was becoming more focused in terms of

00:02:48 --> 00:02:52

its center, which is mcomber karma, because as many of you may

00:02:52 --> 00:02:53

know, that initially,

00:02:55 --> 00:02:58

after the Prophet salallahu Salam moved to Madina Munawwara for

00:02:58 --> 00:03:04

about 16 months or so, the GABA was not yet the Qibla. So Madina

00:03:04 --> 00:03:07

Munawwara is on the north of mucca mucca mucca mucca. Rama is in the

00:03:07 --> 00:03:10

south of the ages, which is the western border of the Arabian

00:03:10 --> 00:03:14

Peninsula. So about four hours north, as you will know is Madina

00:03:14 --> 00:03:18

Munawwara. And then if you carry on North you get to Jerusalem and

00:03:18 --> 00:03:21

sham sham in Jerusalem. So when the prophets Allah was in Morocco,

00:03:21 --> 00:03:24

Morocco, Rama he would actually stand behind the Kaaba so that he

00:03:24 --> 00:03:30

would face the Kaaba and in the in a north, so you will be facing

00:03:30 --> 00:03:33

Jerusalem which was the Qibla at the time, but he would also face

00:03:33 --> 00:03:38

the Kaaba as far as he could. When he moved to Madina, Munawwara the

00:03:38 --> 00:03:40

two directions became an opposite side. So

00:03:41 --> 00:03:44

Jerusalem was north from Madina, Munawwara because Medina

00:03:44 --> 00:03:49

minorities in the middle and the carrabba beaches, masu haram in

00:03:49 --> 00:03:53

Makkah Corona is now in South, so he couldn't incorporate both

00:03:53 --> 00:03:58

directions. At one time, it was impossible because it was 180

00:03:58 --> 00:04:02

degrees. So while he used to pray the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa

00:04:02 --> 00:04:07

sallam used to keep looking up, kind of glancing up. That was just

00:04:07 --> 00:04:12

his way of looking for a revelation looking for change of

00:04:12 --> 00:04:16

guidance almost looking to see if the Qibla could change. So

00:04:17 --> 00:04:21

initially begins of sacoolas sufa Amina nurse, the foolish among the

00:04:21 --> 00:04:24

people, they are soon going to say that what made them change the

00:04:24 --> 00:04:29

Qibla so after 16 months, the following verses were revealed,

00:04:29 --> 00:04:33

but not autocon Luba wedge has fallen over Leanna clay bulletin,

00:04:33 --> 00:04:39

tada. Now, we we direct you towards the Qibla the direction

00:04:39 --> 00:04:44

which you are satisfied with which you were hoping for and which you

00:04:44 --> 00:04:47

wanted all along, but there's going to going to be people who is

00:04:47 --> 00:04:51

going to make a discussion about this foolish people who make this

00:04:51 --> 00:04:56

something to discuss object to wonder about talk about this what

00:04:56 --> 00:04:59

talk show host to do, and this is you can just say the earlier

00:04:59 --> 00:05:00

precursors of

00:05:00 --> 00:05:03

The talk show people, but obviously not just to make money,

00:05:03 --> 00:05:07

right not just to have conversation, but actually also to

00:05:07 --> 00:05:10

to denigrate the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and the

00:05:10 --> 00:05:13

religion of Islam, especially some of the hoods said that because

00:05:14 --> 00:05:17

beta blockers and Jerusalem was kind of their Qibla was kind of

00:05:17 --> 00:05:20

their direction as well. So obviously it was a bit of setting

00:05:20 --> 00:05:23

it sounds for them that now the Qibla was totally

00:05:24 --> 00:05:29

severed from the change from the to mocha mocha aroma, so not just

00:05:29 --> 00:05:31

the hood, but it was the Manasa tea in the hypocrites at the time

00:05:31 --> 00:05:34

as well who started to object in all of this regard. However, Allah

00:05:34 --> 00:05:38

subhanho wa Taala says, for one leverage haka shuttle Masjid Al

00:05:38 --> 00:05:43

haram now, direct yourself towards al Masjid Al haram, the sanctified

00:05:43 --> 00:05:50

masjid, the sanctified place of place of sujood of prayer. But

00:05:50 --> 00:05:52

then Allah subhanho wa Taala remains in there to respond to

00:05:52 --> 00:05:56

those objections that what does a direction mean anyway, all the

00:05:56 --> 00:05:57

directions

00:05:59 --> 00:06:02

for why Thoma can tune for well, Lou, would you have come shutaura

00:06:03 --> 00:06:05

When you look at these verses, and you look at the way the profit or

00:06:05 --> 00:06:09

loss and proceeded disregard, where he wanted a Qibla to change,

00:06:09 --> 00:06:14

but he never once prayed for it in everyone's sorted or asked Allah

00:06:14 --> 00:06:19

subhanaw taala he just kept looking. In anticipation, he kept

00:06:19 --> 00:06:24

looking in anticipation, raising his gaze up to the heavens. And

00:06:24 --> 00:06:27

maybe the reason for that is that he didn't want to ask for

00:06:27 --> 00:06:31

something which Allah subhanho wa Taala wanted it to remain

00:06:31 --> 00:06:35

otherwise. For example, if Allah had maybe wanted it to remain

00:06:35 --> 00:06:37

towards beta like this, and he asked for something different,

00:06:37 --> 00:06:41

then that's the other that a person has with their superior

00:06:41 --> 00:06:45

with the Lord. And the prophets Allah ism you can tell his

00:06:45 --> 00:06:48

personal Adam his, his his beautiful, a HELOC with Allah

00:06:48 --> 00:06:49

subhanho wa Taala as well.

00:06:51 --> 00:06:55

Now, immediately after that Allah subhanaw taala speaks about

00:06:55 --> 00:07:00

providing bounties to the believers to show that

00:07:02 --> 00:07:05

Allah subhanaw taala has provided them with the Prophet sallallahu

00:07:05 --> 00:07:06

alayhi wa sallam.

00:07:07 --> 00:07:10

Allah subhanho wa Taala has provided them with this Suraj

00:07:10 --> 00:07:19

moody this lamp of guidance, which is a huge benefit to humankind and

00:07:19 --> 00:07:22

to the believers. So the fact that Allah subhanaw taala wants

00:07:22 --> 00:07:27

everybody to face towards Masjid Masjidul Haram as well. That in

00:07:27 --> 00:07:31

itself is a another huge benefit to to the Muslims. And that's why

00:07:31 --> 00:07:34

there's numerous verses it carries on all the way until about verse

00:07:34 --> 00:07:38

151 or so when he couldn't leave which had to who are more li

00:07:38 --> 00:07:41

harvested equal hierarchy Aina mitoku yet to become Allah Who

00:07:41 --> 00:07:44

Jamia Amin has the courage that for our leverage hacker shuttle

00:07:44 --> 00:07:48

Masjidul haram I think the main thing in all of this woman Hazel

00:07:48 --> 00:07:52

whorish Tafawa leverage hacker shuttle Masjidul haram or hyphema

00:07:52 --> 00:07:55

condom for well who would you have come shatterer the Allah Hakuna

00:07:55 --> 00:08:00

Nina Cid come Hoja in all of this, Allah subhanho wa Taala is telling

00:08:00 --> 00:08:05

us that the main thing is that the main thing is not that you face in

00:08:05 --> 00:08:09

a particular direction only. That is important to have everybody

00:08:09 --> 00:08:13

synced in one direction, have a unity throughout the world that

00:08:13 --> 00:08:16

they all facing in the direction of the carrabba. Otherwise, Allah

00:08:16 --> 00:08:20

subhanaw taala is not physically located in the Kaaba. It's a house

00:08:20 --> 00:08:24

that represents him. It's the most distinctive feature of

00:08:24 --> 00:08:28

representation of Allah subhanaw taala because it's called the

00:08:28 --> 00:08:31

House of Allah, where we're sitting is also a house of Allah.

00:08:31 --> 00:08:35

But the ultimate GABA and Baitullah is in Mocha, mocha Rama.

00:08:36 --> 00:08:41

But the real, the real objective is not the direction only. That's

00:08:41 --> 00:08:44

just to get everybody physically oriented in a particular

00:08:44 --> 00:08:47

direction. Otherwise, really, what's important is that people

00:08:47 --> 00:08:51

get the orientation of their belief, their actions, their

00:08:51 --> 00:08:56

dealing and their character. So that occur in Malmo, I'm alert and

00:08:56 --> 00:08:59

the o'clock that these need to be in the right direction. That's

00:08:59 --> 00:09:02

that's really what's most important. That's why Allah says

00:09:02 --> 00:09:06

well you Tim money MIT Alikum Well, I like them that they don't

00:09:06 --> 00:09:10

so that I complete my bounties upon you and so that you are given

00:09:10 --> 00:09:14

guidance. And then Allah says come out of Santa Fe come Rasool Amin

00:09:14 --> 00:09:17

come yet ya come it in our user key come where your limo

00:09:17 --> 00:09:20

communicator but well Heckman where your limo Kamal and Hakuna

00:09:20 --> 00:09:23

Matata moon. Allah has sent you the messenger so that you can

00:09:25 --> 00:09:27

so that he can teach you all of these different things. That's

00:09:27 --> 00:09:32

verse 151. And then 152 is first Karuna corkum Wash Kuru Liberata

00:09:32 --> 00:09:35

Quran telling us to remember Allah subhanho wa taala. And thank you.

00:09:36 --> 00:09:40

All of this gets summed up in the ayah tool better, which was which

00:09:40 --> 00:09:44

were going which is around at the quarter of the Jews, about 100 and

00:09:44 --> 00:09:49

verse 177, Lacell, bearer and Tolu. Would you have come after

00:09:49 --> 00:09:52

all of this discussion in between Allah subhanaw taala then sums it

00:09:52 --> 00:09:58

up there, that the real piety and righteousness is not just that you

00:09:58 --> 00:09:59

turn your face to the east

00:10:00 --> 00:10:06

or the West. But true faith, true faith. And true piety is the one

00:10:06 --> 00:10:10

who believes in Allah, and the Last Day, and the angels, the

00:10:10 --> 00:10:16

book, the prophets, gives money, and spends money where it's due to

00:10:16 --> 00:10:19

his family, to the orphans, and so on, so forth. So you can you can

00:10:19 --> 00:10:22

read that verse in detail. That's why

00:10:23 --> 00:10:30

there are approximately 16 different rules that are mentioned

00:10:30 --> 00:10:34

in that, not just in that verse, but the cluster of verses, mostly

00:10:34 --> 00:10:38

after it. And there's two of them that I mentioned before it. So

00:10:38 --> 00:10:42

let's just quickly go through the 16 main rulings that are provided

00:10:42 --> 00:10:46

around this idea of, of beer which is laced into a loop.

00:10:48 --> 00:10:51

So out of that, what you've got is

00:10:52 --> 00:10:58

the main gist of it is that just doing outer rituals, or putting up

00:10:58 --> 00:11:02

symbols of faith is not sufficient. Right? You know, for

00:11:02 --> 00:11:06

example, what some Christians would do is they put a Christmas

00:11:06 --> 00:11:09

tree at Christmas, it's just a symbol. I don't even know what the

00:11:09 --> 00:11:12

origin of that is. So Muslims are told that you're not going to

00:11:12 --> 00:11:16

focus just on symbols, symbols are important. They provide a form of

00:11:16 --> 00:11:21

unification no doubt, they provide a form of representation and

00:11:21 --> 00:11:24

identity, no doubt, but that's not the objective, the objective and

00:11:24 --> 00:11:27

the soul. And the substance of your faith is more than that. It's

00:11:27 --> 00:11:30

how you turn your heart and your behavior

00:11:31 --> 00:11:35

in to Allah subhanho wa Taala and the way you deal with everybody

00:11:35 --> 00:11:38

that Allah subhanaw taala wants you to deal with in the correct

00:11:38 --> 00:11:40

way. So

00:11:42 --> 00:11:46

it's not just about doing something in a masjid. That's why

00:11:46 --> 00:11:48

this These times are very important for us because we don't

00:11:48 --> 00:11:53

have access to the masjid majority of people don't. But it's your

00:11:53 --> 00:11:56

deen continues, God is still there. Your worship still

00:11:56 --> 00:12:00

continues. You do taraweeh at home, right? Whether the

00:12:00 --> 00:12:04

congregation or alone, right, you do your Juma prayers. You can't do

00:12:04 --> 00:12:08

Juma you do the hara at home. So our deen continues, and Allah

00:12:08 --> 00:12:10

gives you the reward of what you would have liked to have done in

00:12:10 --> 00:12:14

normal circumstances. So the idea here now is that how does Allah

00:12:14 --> 00:12:18

subhanaw taala want us to be in the house, when shopping in the

00:12:18 --> 00:12:22

markets on the streets, in the masjid in a madrasa when studying

00:12:22 --> 00:12:27

politically speaking, in terms of ruling or being subjects in terms

00:12:27 --> 00:12:31

of business, terms of just interaction with one another, all

00:12:31 --> 00:12:35

of that. Islam teaches us and a lot of those laws you'll find in

00:12:35 --> 00:12:39

the second use of the Quran here in part of Surah Baqarah. So

00:12:39 --> 00:12:43

that's why this is called AYATUL bearer, I it will be Lacell Bureau

00:12:43 --> 00:12:48

and to aloo hackle. As I mentioned, it's verse 177. Now,

00:12:49 --> 00:12:54

what are these? It will be sorry, the AYATUL bill represents the 16

00:12:54 --> 00:12:57

or so these would be called a wobble bearer, the doors of

00:12:57 --> 00:13:01

goodness the doors of piety, what are the 16 doors of piety that are

00:13:01 --> 00:13:04

discussed in this verse? So as I mentioned, there's two that are

00:13:04 --> 00:13:05

discussed beforehand.

00:13:07 --> 00:13:07

Number one,

00:13:10 --> 00:13:14

Allah subhanaw taala says in a Safa well Murata mean SHA it Allah

00:13:14 --> 00:13:20

from an hudgell bait. So that's verse 180 158. So this was a

00:13:20 --> 00:13:25

ritual from the Hydros the ritual from before Islam, right from

00:13:25 --> 00:13:28

Ibrahim Ali salaams time there's been some kind of a pilgrimage,

00:13:29 --> 00:13:32

though it was probably modified from what it was supposed to be,

00:13:33 --> 00:13:35

and a lot of corruption had entered into it. So now the way

00:13:35 --> 00:13:40

the Mushrikeen used to do it, is that on Safa and Marwa they were

00:13:40 --> 00:13:42

actually two mounts at that time, and the value was in the in

00:13:42 --> 00:13:46

between where the two green lights are today. So they actually have

00:13:46 --> 00:13:49

two idols, they had idols on suffer and on marijuana so

00:13:49 --> 00:13:53

essentially they've made it into a idol house, right and a location

00:13:53 --> 00:13:59

of idols. And that's why some some of the Sahaba initially were

00:13:59 --> 00:14:02

avoiding the sufferer and Mira because they thought that it was

00:14:02 --> 00:14:05

to do with Jaya Helia and it was to do with the time of ignorance

00:14:05 --> 00:14:09

and so that's why Allah subhanaw taala says that the fella Juna,

00:14:09 --> 00:14:12

Allah here in Utah where FABY Hema there's no harm in going between

00:14:12 --> 00:14:15

them, it's actually part of your ritual, because now the idols have

00:14:15 --> 00:14:22

been removed anyway. Number two, the Mushrikeen the pagans that

00:14:22 --> 00:14:26

idolatrous at that time, they used to have their own way of making

00:14:26 --> 00:14:28

certain things haram upon themselves, okay, this animal is

00:14:28 --> 00:14:31

haram, I can't eat it anymore, even though it's a goat or

00:14:31 --> 00:14:34

something. Right? They had these ways of making certain things

00:14:34 --> 00:14:38

haram and restricting certain things for certain people, and,

00:14:38 --> 00:14:41

and so on and so forth. They had their own kind of laws in that

00:14:41 --> 00:14:47

regard. That's why Allah subhanho wa Taala then teaches us

00:14:48 --> 00:14:53

that there's this whole set of verses that discuss in the

00:14:53 --> 00:14:56

Muhammad Ali equal meet at our demo Wella mackynzie. So that's

00:14:56 --> 00:14:59

going to verse 173, that Allah subhanaw taala then

00:15:00 --> 00:15:03

tells us at the beginning it tells us that these are the things which

00:15:03 --> 00:15:07

are haram upon you and unlawful upon believers is only said the

00:15:07 --> 00:15:12

deceased, a carry on meat that was not slaughtered properly flowing

00:15:12 --> 00:15:18

blood, the flesh of pig and swine, regardless of how its slaughtered,

00:15:18 --> 00:15:21

and anything that is slaughtered on other than Allah subhanaw taala

00:15:21 --> 00:15:25

his name, then Allah mentions that if somebody is in a extreme

00:15:25 --> 00:15:27

situation where they don't have anything to eat, they're going to

00:15:27 --> 00:15:30

die literally, then it becomes halal for them to even eat from

00:15:30 --> 00:15:35

one of these unlawful things, just enough to be able to sustain

00:15:35 --> 00:15:38

themselves and not in a way that they gain pleasure and they start

00:15:38 --> 00:15:43

enjoying it is literally just to survive and to save themselves. So

00:15:43 --> 00:15:47

that's then Allah subhanaw taala he says in Allah has a photo Rahim

00:15:48 --> 00:15:51

constantly, you find these throughout, they mean something

00:15:51 --> 00:15:53

that there's a very specific reason we don't have the time to

00:15:53 --> 00:15:56

go into the subtleties of why it says go for Rahim in this case,

00:15:56 --> 00:15:58

but I think it's quite obvious. In this case, Allah is the forgiving

00:15:58 --> 00:16:02

one, the Merciful One, this is the hokum This is the ruling of mercy

00:16:02 --> 00:16:03

for you. Number three.

00:16:04 --> 00:16:12

The third point which this the above will be, essentially is that

00:16:12 --> 00:16:17

the Islamic sharia is based on justice. And one of those aspects

00:16:17 --> 00:16:20

which is a very important one starts just a few verses down on

00:16:20 --> 00:16:23

verse 178, which is yeah, you Alladhina iniquity, but a common

00:16:23 --> 00:16:28

case also Phil Cutler that you are going to basically take a life for

00:16:28 --> 00:16:31

a life that's a command for you to take a life raft so that's an

00:16:31 --> 00:16:36

Islamic idea, and it's taking already from as will be mentioned

00:16:36 --> 00:16:39

later on, but COVID-19 via and the nifty nifty while I enable it

00:16:39 --> 00:16:44

later on in another Surah So the idea of this is that yes, if a

00:16:44 --> 00:16:50

murderer murder someone, then yes, it the His blood is lawful now is

00:16:50 --> 00:16:53

known he's lost his sanctity. However, there's also a ruling

00:16:53 --> 00:16:57

here that those who can forgive right from an old fella who we

00:16:57 --> 00:16:59

know he he shaved on 50 bear on Bill Maher over there on the

00:16:59 --> 00:17:00

labia.

00:17:02 --> 00:17:05

Furminator the back the dirty girlfriend who I thought when I

00:17:05 --> 00:17:08

mean welcome Phil PSRC HYAH Tonia Ali Al Burb all of that is

00:17:08 --> 00:17:13

discussing the kind of philosophy behind allowing somebody who

00:17:13 --> 00:17:16

murdered someone else to be murdered and killed themselves,

00:17:16 --> 00:17:19

because that is a huge deterrent. That's why Allah says that for you

00:17:19 --> 00:17:23

in doing this is life, you're killing somebody in this life in

00:17:23 --> 00:17:26

their Well, the idea is that generally, it's considered a huge

00:17:26 --> 00:17:30

deterrent that a person will think twice. Now there are two opinions

00:17:30 --> 00:17:33

about this in the world. Some places they have the death penalty

00:17:33 --> 00:17:36

in other places, they're vehemently opposed to it. They're

00:17:36 --> 00:17:39

helpless, their hands are basically tied in terms of what

00:17:39 --> 00:17:42

they can do. So the increasing number of murders and rapes and

00:17:42 --> 00:17:45

all of these other things, but they're not willing to bring in

00:17:45 --> 00:17:49

capital punishment, yet in other places. I mean, even in the West,

00:17:49 --> 00:17:51

so the West is not unified and disregard. I mean, America, in

00:17:51 --> 00:17:55

many states, there is a death penalty. They see the benefit in

00:17:55 --> 00:17:58

that they see the wisdom behind that. So they do that. But in

00:17:58 --> 00:18:01

other places, they throw their arms up in the air. They don't

00:18:01 --> 00:18:04

know what to do when they see so many crimes and how to deal with

00:18:04 --> 00:18:08

it. But if anybody brings it up, they look on it as completely

00:18:08 --> 00:18:11

barbaric from an Islamic perspective. It's there. It's

00:18:11 --> 00:18:13

mentioned in the Quran, and there's the legislation and

00:18:13 --> 00:18:17

there's also a reasoning welcome filthy saucy Hiatt, right for you

00:18:17 --> 00:18:22

in this key sauce, in this is in this life for a life essentially,

00:18:22 --> 00:18:26

is a hired However, Allah subhanaw taala does does say that anybody

00:18:26 --> 00:18:27

who forgives

00:18:28 --> 00:18:29

anybody who forgives and

00:18:31 --> 00:18:37

who takes a ransom instead, then that's also good as well. So we've

00:18:37 --> 00:18:41

got two ways to do that. It's not like earlier faced, like the

00:18:41 --> 00:18:47

Jewish faith where they had to be, you had to take the retribution.

00:18:47 --> 00:18:50

Right now you can actually forgive, and you can actually take

00:18:50 --> 00:18:54

a ransom instead as well. Let's just another one, which is

00:18:55 --> 00:19:00

Allah subhanho wa Taala says that anybody who's close to death,

00:19:00 --> 00:19:04

could be battling with a harder radical note, which is a verse

00:19:04 --> 00:19:09

180. Is that those of you who are close to death or who think

00:19:09 --> 00:19:13

they're going to die soon? And subhanAllah I mean, this is a good

00:19:13 --> 00:19:17

time as any, right, is that they should actually write a Basia

00:19:18 --> 00:19:22

the full the you should write or say the full laws aren't here yet,

00:19:22 --> 00:19:25

but it seems like you should at least write a bequest, right of

00:19:25 --> 00:19:29

where your where your inheritance is supposed to go. So that's

00:19:29 --> 00:19:34

encouraged here. The number five is finally where the fasting is

00:19:34 --> 00:19:39

mentioned. So for every sane, mature, Muslim fasting is

00:19:39 --> 00:19:45

necessary. And there's, you have Latina Amano, quotevalet camassia

00:19:45 --> 00:19:50

katiba Latina and publikum starts from verse 183. And it continues

00:19:50 --> 00:19:54

and there's numerous discussions there related to fasting related

00:19:54 --> 00:19:58

to Ramadan, related to eating and drinking and so on and so forth.

00:19:58 --> 00:20:00

Allah subhanaw taala speaks about

00:20:00 --> 00:20:03

Ramadan being a very important month because then he brings in

00:20:03 --> 00:20:06

the fact that the Quran is also revealed in the shell Ramadan lady

00:20:06 --> 00:20:10

on Zilla field Quran, then it carries on to discuss a number of

00:20:10 --> 00:20:11

other things like

00:20:13 --> 00:20:17

it's permissible during the nights of Ramadan once the Iftar has been

00:20:17 --> 00:20:19

done. I mean people know that you can eat and drink. I mean that's

00:20:19 --> 00:20:22

coming anyway. Right? That's coming anyway. But first Allah

00:20:22 --> 00:20:25

subhanaw taala says that it's allowed for you to have

00:20:25 --> 00:20:28

*, the spouse is not allowed to have *.

00:20:28 --> 00:20:32

However, this is not allowed during aitikaf. Then after that,

00:20:33 --> 00:20:37

Allah subhanaw taala speaks about what Amala combiner can build

00:20:37 --> 00:20:42

Belton what to do behind Hohokam, that it's not allowed for you to

00:20:42 --> 00:20:45

consume anybody's wealth in an unlawful way, whether that be

00:20:45 --> 00:20:49

through deception, whether that be through interest in usury, because

00:20:49 --> 00:20:51

that's not allowed in Islam, whether that be by usurping

00:20:51 --> 00:20:55

somebody's wealth, not giving somebody their right, withholding

00:20:55 --> 00:20:59

somebody's debt, or for whatever it is, you can see there's a huge

00:20:59 --> 00:21:03

amount of laws here both a bar that laws of worship to Allah and

00:21:03 --> 00:21:07

also laws about this inter inter social relationship. Nothing I

00:21:07 --> 00:21:11

just want to mention here is Allah subhanaw taala says that or Halal

00:21:11 --> 00:21:14

accolade at the CME refer to Isla Anissa, which is giving permit

00:21:14 --> 00:21:17

permission for * between spouses during the night when

00:21:17 --> 00:21:20

niversary likoma, antimony baths will learn some of the philosophy

00:21:20 --> 00:21:23

behind it. And then Allah says that he knew that he

00:21:24 --> 00:21:28

was who was trouble, this is a very important idea for me at

00:21:28 --> 00:21:31

least, right because there's so many things that I'm that is based

00:21:31 --> 00:21:35

on this verse, where Kulu was trouble now eat and drink, once

00:21:35 --> 00:21:38

Iftar is done once Mercury has come in, eat and drink until,

00:21:39 --> 00:21:41

because initially, it was not allowed for a person, it was only

00:21:41 --> 00:21:45

allowed for a person to eat after Iftar, meaning at Maghrib time

00:21:45 --> 00:21:49

until they fell asleep. So if somebody fell asleep, of course,

00:21:50 --> 00:21:53

until somebody fell asleep before them, they couldn't eat

00:21:53 --> 00:21:56

afterwards. So there was a Sahabi, who came from the fields really,

00:21:56 --> 00:22:00

really tired and weary. And he was really, really tired, came home

00:22:00 --> 00:22:02

and he said to his wife, is there any food she says, I'll prepare

00:22:02 --> 00:22:05

you something. But he was so tired, he fell asleep. He'd been

00:22:05 --> 00:22:07

fasting all day, he fell asleep. And as soon as he fell asleep,

00:22:08 --> 00:22:12

what happens now is that his next fast has begun. It didn't start at

00:22:12 --> 00:22:15

Fajr time it started from time you slept. So Allah subhanaw taala

00:22:15 --> 00:22:19

revealed this verse Now that now you can eat and drink until the

00:22:19 --> 00:22:22

white, the black, the white thread becomes distinct from the black

00:22:22 --> 00:22:27

thread. Right? So this is the basis of both the publishing

00:22:27 --> 00:22:29

company that I started white thread press and also the

00:22:29 --> 00:22:32

institute white thread Institute, which is a nonprofit organization,

00:22:33 --> 00:22:36

right? It comes from this it has a Quranic basis and a fucky basis

00:22:36 --> 00:22:39

that basically you can eat and drink until dawn, right until

00:22:39 --> 00:22:41

dawn, becomes clear for you.

00:22:43 --> 00:22:46

Allah subhanaw taala then carries on about

00:22:47 --> 00:22:51

number eight. So the eighth point then is Yes, I do Anika I need a

00:22:51 --> 00:22:54

healer starting to ask about the moon's now. Right? Something which

00:22:54 --> 00:22:57

could really benefit from somebody who really understood this and

00:22:57 --> 00:23:01

follow this properly, that you need this, you need to understand

00:23:01 --> 00:23:04

not just the solar system that you're used to but the lunar

00:23:04 --> 00:23:07

months, because many of your worships are related to the lunar

00:23:07 --> 00:23:10

months as we know Quran, the Ramadan, there eat the eidl,

00:23:10 --> 00:23:13

Aloha, Ashura and so many others.

00:23:14 --> 00:23:20

Number nine, is a long discussion about jihad, about basically

00:23:20 --> 00:23:24

defending against your enemies and dealing with your enemies

00:23:24 --> 00:23:27

preparedness against it some of the benefits in doing so. Not

00:23:27 --> 00:23:30

being weak in that regard. Subhanallah living in the West

00:23:30 --> 00:23:33

that's a very difficult How come it's in the Quran is a very

00:23:33 --> 00:23:37

difficult hokum, and a ruling for people to to even understand what

00:23:37 --> 00:23:40

to do. That's why there's lots of people who take advantage of

00:23:40 --> 00:23:44

people's sentiments for jihad, right people's sentiments for

00:23:44 --> 00:23:46

jihad, the message in the Quran is over and over. Right, so then

00:23:46 --> 00:23:50

they, they basically manipulate them to do the wrong thing, which

00:23:50 --> 00:23:54

is not a real jihad. But we really need to sit down and try to

00:23:54 --> 00:23:58

understand the frustration among people about understanding the

00:23:58 --> 00:24:02

real understanding of jihad, and how to maybe do it in the correct

00:24:02 --> 00:24:05

way. Right. And that's a very important and very profound

00:24:05 --> 00:24:08

discussion, that's probably going to have to be have as we continue

00:24:08 --> 00:24:11

to live in the West. Right? As we continue to live in the West. This

00:24:11 --> 00:24:16

is obviously not the time for it, then it speaks about in spending

00:24:16 --> 00:24:19

in the path of Allah subhanaw taala. Then another huge

00:24:19 --> 00:24:21

discussion comes after the fasting, right, we've already had

00:24:21 --> 00:24:25

solitons declared before yesterday in the first Jews. Now the

00:24:25 --> 00:24:29

discussion about Hajj, another great pillar of Hajj pillar of

00:24:29 --> 00:24:33

Islam, which is the Hajj that ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada wants you to

00:24:33 --> 00:24:36

come together in one place, the Muslims of the world, whoever can

00:24:36 --> 00:24:40

come to come together, show your solidarity, learn from one another

00:24:40 --> 00:24:43

benefit from one another and perform a worship together. When

00:24:43 --> 00:24:47

you do some ritual together, it creates a bond and the harmony,

00:24:48 --> 00:24:51

harmony is created. Then it mentions that the Hajj can only be

00:24:51 --> 00:24:55

done at once during certain months. However, the ombre can be

00:24:55 --> 00:24:59

done. More than that. Then Allah subhanaw taala discusses

00:25:00 --> 00:25:03

very specific rules about the Hajj. Now, it's not just here,

00:25:03 --> 00:25:07

this Surah Al Hajj an entire Surah about Hyderabad there, it's more

00:25:07 --> 00:25:10

about the sentiment and the emotion of the hijab is more

00:25:10 --> 00:25:12

discussed there. Here, the discussion is more about the

00:25:12 --> 00:25:16

rituals of the Hajj and try to correct some of the Jahai rituals

00:25:16 --> 00:25:20

of Hajj because remember, they had Hajj before, before Islam. So

00:25:20 --> 00:25:23

number one, a lot of the Quraysh they thought they were special,

00:25:23 --> 00:25:25

because they used to be the caretakers of the caliber of the

00:25:25 --> 00:25:28

haram. Right? So they were in charge. So there were certain

00:25:28 --> 00:25:31

things that they wouldn't do. And they said that everybody else can

00:25:31 --> 00:25:34

do it. Right. So for example, one of the things that they would do

00:25:34 --> 00:25:37

is that they would not go to out of out of as the furthest location

00:25:38 --> 00:25:40

they would stay in was deadly for and they would actually think it's

00:25:40 --> 00:25:43

lonely to go to alpha, everybody else could go out if they wanted,

00:25:43 --> 00:25:46

they wouldn't go. So Allah subhanaw taala says here that you

00:25:46 --> 00:25:49

need to go a Phaedo in Haifa, a further nurse will still fit Allah

00:25:49 --> 00:25:52

that you need to also go where everybody else goes numb. Then the

00:25:52 --> 00:25:54

second thing they will do is when they will come back to Mina for

00:25:54 --> 00:25:59

those days of the Rami of pelting the shaytaan that would be a time

00:25:59 --> 00:26:03

of huge fanfare of basically them competing with one another with

00:26:03 --> 00:26:07

poetry and so on, to try to say that my forefathers were superior

00:26:07 --> 00:26:11

to yours. Our tribe is better than yours because we won more more

00:26:11 --> 00:26:14

battles and we had such an such an individual and so on. That's what

00:26:14 --> 00:26:17

they would do. So Allah subhanaw taala says that when you come back

00:26:17 --> 00:26:20

for either a fourth tominaga 13 First Quarter Allah indle

00:26:20 --> 00:26:24

machariel Haram with Kuru caminhada Quwain condemning COVID

00:26:24 --> 00:26:27

Hila Minato alleen. Then after Allah subhanho wa Taala says for

00:26:27 --> 00:26:31

either Kobe to mana seeker come once you've done those main rights

00:26:31 --> 00:26:35

of our firm so on first kulula Remember Allah decree comm Abba

00:26:35 --> 00:26:39

calm just the way you used to remember your forefathers. Oh Asha

00:26:39 --> 00:26:43

Decra Oh, Asha DEKRA, or even actually more intensely, now you

00:26:43 --> 00:26:46

need to use this time to remember Allah subhana wa Tada.

00:26:47 --> 00:26:51

general encouragement to spend in the path of Allah subhanho wa

00:26:51 --> 00:26:54

taala. Because remember, the deme one of the things that you need

00:26:54 --> 00:26:58

for the sustaining of our religion of the institutions of our

00:26:58 --> 00:27:02

religion, like the mosques and so on, is that people need to spend

00:27:02 --> 00:27:05

of their money to assist them. Because that's what you need. You

00:27:05 --> 00:27:09

need You need that, like in this time, in this particular time in

00:27:09 --> 00:27:13

the masjid, unfortunately, out of bounds for most people, I mean,

00:27:13 --> 00:27:17

they're still going to need to have the expenses. So it's

00:27:17 --> 00:27:21

something to consider in Ramadan. Don't forget your messages, right?

00:27:21 --> 00:27:25

Don't forget your local institutions, right, which have

00:27:25 --> 00:27:27

been shut down on you can't maybe visit them right now. They may be

00:27:27 --> 00:27:30

teaching online, right? And they may be doing gurus like this

00:27:30 --> 00:27:34

online, but you have to remember them because spending in the path

00:27:34 --> 00:27:38

of Allah is a major part of our deen. It's an essential aspect of

00:27:38 --> 00:27:43

the economy and this the stability of our foundations.

00:27:45 --> 00:27:48

And the main thing is that Allah subhanho wa Taala will give a huge

00:27:48 --> 00:27:53

reward in all of this number 12. There is a discussion about the

00:27:53 --> 00:27:57

one who becomes a mortared, the one who loses their faith the one

00:27:57 --> 00:28:01

who apostates. So that's that discussion then takes place. And

00:28:01 --> 00:28:05

then after that Allah subhanaw taala discusses from verse 219. So

00:28:05 --> 00:28:10

that was in 217, verse 219. Where's Luna candle hungry? Well,

00:28:10 --> 00:28:11

Mason,

00:28:12 --> 00:28:15

where's Luna? Candle hungry? Yes, Luna candle how many one masive

00:28:16 --> 00:28:20

puts the two together. One is drinking hammer, which is why and

00:28:20 --> 00:28:24

number two, is Mason, which is gambling. Because they're both bad

00:28:24 --> 00:28:26

addictions. One of them you can actually smell on somebody's

00:28:26 --> 00:28:29

breath. The other one is actually more deadly. I've spoken to a

00:28:29 --> 00:28:32

person who is addicted to gambling. So the problem with this

00:28:32 --> 00:28:34

is that you can't even smell it can't even tell that somebody is a

00:28:34 --> 00:28:37

gambler. With a drinking you can see from this, you can understand

00:28:37 --> 00:28:41

from the slurring of their speech, maybe the way they work, right and

00:28:41 --> 00:28:44

so on. But with a gambler, you just will not know. That's why

00:28:44 --> 00:28:46

it's not the gambling is even sometimes even worse, because it's

00:28:46 --> 00:28:50

so difficult to remedy. So both of these are mentioned here. And

00:28:50 --> 00:28:54

Allah subhanaw taala refers obviously, or rather, the profit

00:28:54 --> 00:28:55

or loss I'm referred,

00:28:56 --> 00:29:01

wine is referred to as Omen hubba. If, right, and gambling is one of

00:29:01 --> 00:29:05

the worst of deeds. Then number 14, after discussing a lot of

00:29:05 --> 00:29:09

these social issues, as we've discussed so far, now, Allah

00:29:09 --> 00:29:13

subhanaw taala goes on to speaking more specifically about family

00:29:13 --> 00:29:16

issues, interpersonal relationships with the family,

00:29:16 --> 00:29:19

family is what creates the communities zooms in even further

00:29:19 --> 00:29:24

from talking about more community related issues, to more specific

00:29:24 --> 00:29:28

family related individual issues. So here, Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:29:29 --> 00:29:32

discusses a number of things and mainly in that is you have the

00:29:32 --> 00:29:36

discussion of Nika and you have the discussion of Talaq, which

00:29:36 --> 00:29:42

goes on and on in a lot of detail. Verse 221, Allah subhanaw taala

00:29:42 --> 00:29:45

speaks about who to marry, and that it's not allowed to marry a

00:29:45 --> 00:29:48

pagan and idolatry. Marriage should be based on your religion

00:29:48 --> 00:29:51

in Allah subhanho wa taala. Another verse has allowed marriage

00:29:51 --> 00:29:56

of Muslim men to Christian and Jewish women, but not other not

00:29:56 --> 00:29:59

the other way around. However, as mentioned the Hadith and from the

00:29:59 --> 00:30:00

Sahara

00:30:00 --> 00:30:04

About etc, it's disliked. Because it's very difficult to have. If

00:30:04 --> 00:30:08

you've got different faiths, it's very difficult to have a common

00:30:08 --> 00:30:11

understanding in terms of maintaining the family, because a

00:30:11 --> 00:30:14

major aspect of the family is children, providing an

00:30:14 --> 00:30:17

environment, you have two different ideas. Faith is a very

00:30:17 --> 00:30:20

important aspect for people is not something on the side. I know in

00:30:20 --> 00:30:23

the modern world, faith is kind of on the backburner. It's a kind of

00:30:23 --> 00:30:26

a side issue. It's a supplementary issue. But for Muslims, faith is a

00:30:26 --> 00:30:29

very big issue. It's a very important issue. And that's why a

00:30:29 --> 00:30:33

lot of people can't understand when Muslims tell people that

00:30:33 --> 00:30:36

we're not allowed, it's not good to marry outside the faith,

00:30:37 --> 00:30:41

because that's something that unifies the whole focus of worship

00:30:41 --> 00:30:44

and life, because remember, Islam governs every aspect of our life.

00:30:45 --> 00:30:48

And if the husband and wife don't have that, and they have different

00:30:48 --> 00:30:50

values in that regard, because there's going to be different

00:30:50 --> 00:30:53

values, it's going to be extremely difficult. So it was allowed

00:30:53 --> 00:30:56

because of need in certain cases, but it's considered undesirable

00:30:56 --> 00:30:59

and disliked, where there's no need for that, that's with just

00:30:59 --> 00:31:02

with Christian and Jewish women. Otherwise, with anybody else, it's

00:31:02 --> 00:31:03

not allowed at all.

00:31:05 --> 00:31:10

So Allah subhanaw taala speaks about that in in detail. And then

00:31:10 --> 00:31:13

Allah subhanho wa Taala says that Allah is inviting you to Paradise,

00:31:14 --> 00:31:18

and to guidance to to forgiveness by his permission, and Allah makes

00:31:18 --> 00:31:22

all of this very clear. The next one number 15. Very specific

00:31:22 --> 00:31:26

ruling now, zoomed in even further, is about women's

00:31:26 --> 00:31:29

menstruation issues. It's a very important issue. But the problem

00:31:29 --> 00:31:33

is that so many women, they have absolutely no idea about when to

00:31:33 --> 00:31:38

start when, when to finish. That's why we've run several courses to

00:31:38 --> 00:31:42

actually equip women, right, both Alamos and non Alamos to really

00:31:42 --> 00:31:44

understand this so that they can help otherwise, many women have to

00:31:44 --> 00:31:47

come to men to ask this question. And they feel very embarrassed

00:31:47 --> 00:31:51

because it's a very, very personal issue. Right? And that's why it's

00:31:51 --> 00:31:54

very important that you become you know, you learn about this, right?

00:31:54 --> 00:31:57

You learn about this, and there is a course for women on Rayyan

00:31:57 --> 00:32:00

Institute's right for for the menstruation. It's an eight, I

00:32:00 --> 00:32:03

think it's an eight or 10 session course that you should definitely

00:32:03 --> 00:32:07

take, right, it's good, it's targeted at beginners as well. So

00:32:07 --> 00:32:10

it's a really good idea that you understand that because Allah

00:32:10 --> 00:32:13

mentions it in the Quran. And he talks to men to say that, yes, you

00:32:13 --> 00:32:17

may have a desire at that time. But that's a holiday time where

00:32:17 --> 00:32:21

you're not allowed to do the intimate act, you can have other

00:32:21 --> 00:32:25

forms of intimacy, and I'm keeping this language general because

00:32:25 --> 00:32:27

there may be children who are listening, but you may hear we

00:32:27 --> 00:32:33

have general, you know, mutual, intimate benefit, but not in the

00:32:33 --> 00:32:36

area, not in the very specific area. Right, which because it's

00:32:36 --> 00:32:40

other, it's harmful at that time, it's harmful, and that's why that

00:32:40 --> 00:32:41

should be avoided.

00:32:43 --> 00:32:46

Then Allah subhanahu, WA Tada, moves on to the next one, which is

00:32:47 --> 00:32:51

number 16. The other reason that this was also mentioned here,

00:32:51 --> 00:32:54

Allah subhanaw taala says, After talking about the prohibition of,

00:32:55 --> 00:32:58

you know, penetrative * during menstruation, Allah

00:32:58 --> 00:33:01

subhanho wa Taala says, Nisa will come hearth and welcome, your

00:33:01 --> 00:33:02

women are a

00:33:03 --> 00:33:07

tilt a crop for you, right fat to have her come, and now shaitan

00:33:07 --> 00:33:10

you're allowed to approach your crop from whichever direction you

00:33:10 --> 00:33:12

want, which is,

00:33:13 --> 00:33:18

which is actually a response to the Jewish prohibition, of only

00:33:18 --> 00:33:21

allowing sexual * in one particular position. And they said

00:33:21 --> 00:33:25

that the other position is wrong, it provides all of these harms and

00:33:25 --> 00:33:28

so on. So the Quran Allah subhanaw taala thing is completely allowed.

00:33:28 --> 00:33:31

What could the moody and fusi come like sent for for yourself? And

00:33:31 --> 00:33:35

that is very interesting. What duckula Where, Nicola COO, and

00:33:35 --> 00:33:40

fear Allah, and know that you're going to, you're going to know

00:33:40 --> 00:33:43

that you're going to meet him one day, know that you're going to

00:33:43 --> 00:33:46

meet him? Why is that discussion when it's talking about sexual

00:33:46 --> 00:33:49

*? That's why many of the Allama they've taken from

00:33:49 --> 00:33:53

this, that those who are really the only of Allah, those who

00:33:53 --> 00:33:56

really understood Allah, all of this is just a reminder of them of

00:33:56 --> 00:34:00

the pleasures of the afterlife, and of the greatness of Allah. So

00:34:00 --> 00:34:03

even when they engaged in something like what people would

00:34:03 --> 00:34:07

call a lowly Act, which is, which is not, it's done in the right

00:34:07 --> 00:34:09

way. It's actually a very noble act, because that's how humans are

00:34:09 --> 00:34:14

born. Right? They actually get closer to Allah even, you know,

00:34:14 --> 00:34:16

just through because of their perspective when they're doing the

00:34:16 --> 00:34:20

act. That's why mangas Allah says that, that gives you what gives

00:34:20 --> 00:34:22

you one of the sensations of the greatest pleasure to remind you of

00:34:22 --> 00:34:27

paradise. So you need to change our understanding of why we have

00:34:27 --> 00:34:31

these things. And again, I'd have to leave that to you to look at

00:34:31 --> 00:34:37

that in detail. The number number 16, then, is regarding basic rules

00:34:37 --> 00:34:41

of breaking an oath that yes, alts are there in Islam, if you break

00:34:41 --> 00:34:47

them, then this is what you'll have to do. Number 17. Then moving

00:34:47 --> 00:34:54

on from verse 226 227. Moving on, the largest amount of verses

00:34:54 --> 00:34:57

related to divorce and all the most of the rulings related to

00:34:57 --> 00:34:59

divorce is inserted Bacara

00:35:00 --> 00:35:03

Even though you actually got to in the 28th juice, you've got sort of

00:35:03 --> 00:35:07

two Talaq. A sorta that's called after Talaq, there are some rules

00:35:07 --> 00:35:10

mentioned there. But I think a lot of those rules that I mentioned,

00:35:10 --> 00:35:13

there is a lot of emotional assistance there as well. Whereas

00:35:13 --> 00:35:19

here, it's about the rules about tilaka quite in detail at pala

00:35:19 --> 00:35:22

Kumaratunga for Himself to me my roofie notice three homebase son,

00:35:22 --> 00:35:25

I would suggest to everybody, every Muslim, that he goes through

00:35:25 --> 00:35:29

these verses, because one of the biggest problems that we face as

00:35:29 --> 00:35:33

scholars is Talaq issues, people just giving Talaq without any

00:35:33 --> 00:35:36

consideration, just willy nilly without understanding and this

00:35:36 --> 00:35:40

then they excuse, we didn't know that this was a divorce that this

00:35:40 --> 00:35:42

was going to amount to a divorce. That's why the book that I've

00:35:42 --> 00:35:45

written called handbook, recent Handbook of a healthy Muslim

00:35:45 --> 00:35:48

marriage, most of it is just mostly practical and anecdotal,

00:35:48 --> 00:35:52

right, based on cases, but the divorce insisted on adding a

00:35:52 --> 00:35:55

divorce section in there, which is a slightly more technical

00:35:55 --> 00:35:58

explaining all the types of divorces. So those who are married

00:35:58 --> 00:36:01

should definitely understand divorce, because it's something

00:36:01 --> 00:36:05

which you don't want to do wrong if you ever have to do it. But

00:36:05 --> 00:36:08

Allah subhanaw taala tells us that sometimes you know, there are

00:36:08 --> 00:36:12

going to be cases where your home becomes a living *, and you

00:36:12 --> 00:36:15

need to separate That's why if there is a divorce is allowed in

00:36:15 --> 00:36:18

Islam as opposed to in the Catholics. They don't allow

00:36:18 --> 00:36:21

divorce, you'd be excommunicated from the church if you got

00:36:21 --> 00:36:24

divorced, even though it's a reality of life, right? That's why

00:36:24 --> 00:36:27

in Islam, it's allowed and the prophets are awesome signified as

00:36:27 --> 00:36:33

avoidable. halal. It's the most detested of the halal things. So a

00:36:33 --> 00:36:37

lot of people think it's haram to do it. The misunderstanding It's

00:36:37 --> 00:36:41

haram to do it in a wrong way. But by default, it is a halal act when

00:36:41 --> 00:36:45

it's necessary to do so don't hold on to your wives even though

00:36:45 --> 00:36:50

you've Eric Eric You know there's no possibility of reconciliation

00:36:50 --> 00:36:53

and you just holding on to them because Allah speaks about that

00:36:53 --> 00:36:58

here that do not leave them more Aloka right for either to look to

00:36:58 --> 00:37:02

Manisa MC gonna be my Rufino Sadie who's gonna be my roof wala tomb

00:37:02 --> 00:37:06

Seco now there are only tighter do don't hold on to them just to harm

00:37:06 --> 00:37:09

them. I'm gonna punish her forever so that she can't marry someone

00:37:09 --> 00:37:13

else. Every moment you're doing that you'd be sinful for that?

00:37:13 --> 00:37:16

Because you're you're basically not giving her her right. You're

00:37:16 --> 00:37:18

not letting her come she doesn't want to maybe come it's

00:37:18 --> 00:37:22

irretrievably broken down. You need to let them go with coronet

00:37:22 --> 00:37:26

Matala here in a coma and Sally communicated your hikma then Allah

00:37:26 --> 00:37:30

subhanho wa Taala discusses the MaHA. Right Allah subhanaw taala

00:37:30 --> 00:37:34

discusses the MaHA the dowry and the discussions about that I'm not

00:37:34 --> 00:37:37

going to go in talk about that. Then there's the discussion about

00:37:39 --> 00:37:44

can a divorce woman marry somebody else? Yes, she can. But Allah says

00:37:44 --> 00:37:48

that, if a husband has divorced his wife three times. Then after

00:37:48 --> 00:37:53

that Allah says, For interlock, aha, ie the third time, which is

00:37:53 --> 00:37:57

verse 220 30, Fela Tehila, whom embedded who had to attend, he has

00:37:57 --> 00:38:01

chosen a euro. She is not allowed to re marry that same husband who

00:38:01 --> 00:38:04

is divorced three times whether together or three separately. Once

00:38:04 --> 00:38:08

he's done three, he's lost his right to be with her. So now she

00:38:08 --> 00:38:12

can't go back to him. She she would have to marry someone else,

00:38:12 --> 00:38:15

until she marries somebody else consummated the marriage. Right,

00:38:15 --> 00:38:18

which is not the contribution part. It's not mentioned here. But

00:38:18 --> 00:38:21

then only then if she happened to be divorced from the she'd be able

00:38:21 --> 00:38:24

to come back. If that was all organized and pre planned, then

00:38:24 --> 00:38:28

that would be haram to do that anyway, in most cases. Then Allah

00:38:28 --> 00:38:30

subhanaw taala discusses

00:38:31 --> 00:38:35

the fact that do not harm your wives. In fact, it says well,

00:38:35 --> 00:38:39

Metallica, T Mehta and Bill Maher roof many people don't know this,

00:38:39 --> 00:38:42

that when you if you happen to divorce your wife, you should

00:38:42 --> 00:38:46

actually give her a parting gift when it all gets dissolved. And

00:38:46 --> 00:38:48

you're not going to see any and there's going to be generally a

00:38:48 --> 00:38:50

lot of acrimony. In most cases, you're supposed to give her a

00:38:50 --> 00:38:55

suit, any top and bottom, you know, suit dress, and I was just

00:38:55 --> 00:39:00

so that it just diffuses some of the hard feeling well in Moodle

00:39:00 --> 00:39:04

Alacati Mata on Bill Maher roof as well, that could also refer to

00:39:04 --> 00:39:05

other things as well.

00:39:07 --> 00:39:13

Then it moves on to the 21st point here is that again, Islam is based

00:39:13 --> 00:39:17

on justice, so on and so on. And there's no allowance for

00:39:19 --> 00:39:23

there's no allowance for volume and oppression. That's why even if

00:39:23 --> 00:39:26

there's a separation, and the mother has to be called on to she

00:39:26 --> 00:39:30

still has the right to feed her children to nurse her children. So

00:39:30 --> 00:39:34

all of that discussion is there. Right? Well, while he that you're

00:39:34 --> 00:39:38

there, Hola. Hola. Hola. Lanie kami lane, how long the the

00:39:38 --> 00:39:41

nursing period needs to be all of that discussion is there women

00:39:41 --> 00:39:44

should especially read this, right? Because it's very relevant.

00:39:44 --> 00:39:45

Then after that.

00:39:47 --> 00:39:51

There's a discussion of it that now once divorce takes place or

00:39:51 --> 00:39:54

the husband dies, then women have to sit in the waiting period. One

00:39:54 --> 00:39:58

of the reasons for it is obviously to mourn the husband. Right mourn

00:39:58 --> 00:40:00

the death of the husband and others

00:40:00 --> 00:40:03

Isn't is to find out whether you're carrying the child of the

00:40:03 --> 00:40:07

husband, because Islam is very lays a great emphasis on making

00:40:07 --> 00:40:12

sure your genealogy, your ancestry is not confused. So if you get

00:40:12 --> 00:40:14

married somebody straight away, then it could be possibility that

00:40:14 --> 00:40:17

you might think it's the second husband's child, whereas it's

00:40:17 --> 00:40:19

actually the first husband's child. That's why it takes about

00:40:19 --> 00:40:25

three complete menstrual cycles. For that to be clarified, not just

00:40:25 --> 00:40:28

one, but three complete menstrual cycles, you won't have to spend in

00:40:28 --> 00:40:32

order to do that. Again, there's lots of detail here, which we

00:40:32 --> 00:40:35

obviously can't go into. So the various discussions about it that

00:40:35 --> 00:40:39

and the waiting period is discussed in these verses. And

00:40:39 --> 00:40:41

then Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:40:42 --> 00:40:46

speaks about Allahumma Salli, ala sayyidina. Muhammad, what do we

00:40:46 --> 00:40:49

discuss what don't we discuss, we see the time creeping upon us. So

00:40:49 --> 00:40:52

the idea is how much we discussed Alhamdulillah. I think we've

00:40:52 --> 00:40:55

covered quite a bit of ground, but just a few points that are left

00:40:55 --> 00:40:57

here as we're nearing the end of the surah.

00:41:00 --> 00:41:03

Finally, to just to make it more comprehensive, there's also a

00:41:03 --> 00:41:06

discussion that if a husband and wife are having problems, and the

00:41:06 --> 00:41:09

wife one out wants out, but the husband won't let her then there's

00:41:09 --> 00:41:14

also there's also a discussion about the

00:41:16 --> 00:41:22

wife providing a payment, or forgoing her dowry, to secure the

00:41:22 --> 00:41:26

divorce. That's also that's also mentioned in the Quran.

00:41:27 --> 00:41:31

Allah subhanaw taala then puts in here haffi do other Salatu was

00:41:31 --> 00:41:35

Salam ala Wooster in the midst of all of that discussion going back

00:41:35 --> 00:41:44

to the worships. So that is, verse 200. And verse 238 238, which is,

00:41:44 --> 00:41:49

be be very protective and regular and mindful over all your prayers,

00:41:49 --> 00:41:52

especially the middle prayer, big discussion as to what the middle

00:41:52 --> 00:41:55

prayers, many orlimar say, refers to answer prayer, because that's

00:41:55 --> 00:41:57

kind of in the middle where it's easier for it to be missed.

00:41:58 --> 00:42:00

Because by Maghrib, you're at home generally, in a moderate climate,

00:42:00 --> 00:42:04

you are in February at home, in the home, there's a there's a

00:42:04 --> 00:42:06

there's a time when you're focused, but also time is the end

00:42:06 --> 00:42:10

of the business day. So it's very possible that in order coming back

00:42:10 --> 00:42:13

from your community, you may miss us or be very particular about

00:42:13 --> 00:42:17

Yasser pray especially. Right then to finish off Allah subhanho wa

00:42:17 --> 00:42:23

Taala provides two stories, two incidents. One of them is kind of

00:42:23 --> 00:42:26

relevant to us but we don't have the time to go into it in detail

00:42:27 --> 00:42:35

is basically from verse 243, LM Tala Illa, Latina hora, Zhu Min

00:42:35 --> 00:42:38

Dre him Woofle, huddle melt.

00:42:40 --> 00:42:45

But Allah says Faqad Allahu Allah who moved to some higher home in

00:42:45 --> 00:42:47

hola hola do further in other nasty weather in Corona slash

00:42:47 --> 00:42:55

karoun. So this is the story of a certain community who were hit by

00:42:55 --> 00:43:00

a proper plague. Now, thanks to God that this is not a plague.

00:43:01 --> 00:43:03

Because what we're going through right now, if it was a plague,

00:43:03 --> 00:43:07

that'd be very chant less chance of survival. That would be deadly

00:43:07 --> 00:43:10

like anybody who catches it, mostly they die. That's what's

00:43:10 --> 00:43:14

happened in the past of the bacterial plagues. We're dealing

00:43:14 --> 00:43:17

with more virus right now, but that those are more bacterial. And

00:43:17 --> 00:43:20

generally, anybody that catches is probably going to die, right most

00:43:20 --> 00:43:23

likely. So that's why we call this a wobble as opposed to our own.

00:43:24 --> 00:43:26

But anyway, these people were afflicted by a tornado. And the

00:43:26 --> 00:43:30

condition in town is basically locked down. The ruling is a

00:43:30 --> 00:43:34

lockdown, don't get out. Right, which we're being told to do right

00:43:34 --> 00:43:37

now as well that don't get out. So the idea is, I mean, flights,

00:43:37 --> 00:43:40

mostly suspended and so on. However, these people they got

00:43:40 --> 00:43:43

scared. So they didn't listen to the ruling that you must stay

00:43:43 --> 00:43:49

there and they ran out. They left and they died. Allah subhanaw

00:43:49 --> 00:43:54

taala then gave them death. That why did you do that? So follow the

00:43:54 --> 00:43:58

ruling that you're supposed to do stay indoors stay stay home.

00:43:58 --> 00:43:58

Right?

00:43:59 --> 00:44:01

I'm not saying that the Quran is telling us to do that right now

00:44:01 --> 00:44:05

directly, right. Don't get me wrong here. But generally we get

00:44:05 --> 00:44:09

the inspiration of that from from these verses. The second story is

00:44:09 --> 00:44:13

a more detailed story that Allah subhanho wa Taala discusses and

00:44:13 --> 00:44:15

after all of these specific rulings, ruling rulings, Allah

00:44:15 --> 00:44:19

subhanaw taala in the next cluster of verses from that starts at

00:44:21 --> 00:44:24

ilimitado, Ilan mela Iman Bani Israel I mean by the Musa remember

00:44:24 --> 00:44:27

there's a lot of discussion of Bani Israel here. So it goes back

00:44:27 --> 00:44:31

to that discussion on verse 246.

00:44:32 --> 00:44:35

If God willing to be alone rathlin, American Nakata, Luffy,

00:44:35 --> 00:44:39

Sybilla, these these group of the Israelites, they were asking for a

00:44:39 --> 00:44:43

commander, a king, a sovereign, a leader, that they could fight

00:44:43 --> 00:44:46

behind to deal with their enemies, right? This is the whole story of

00:44:46 --> 00:44:51

Goliath and soul dilute, right. So that discussion is there. And

00:44:51 --> 00:44:55

there's a numerous benefits in the story for us. The story is not

00:44:55 --> 00:44:58

there just as a historical account, right. It's there for a

00:44:58 --> 00:44:59

very particular aspect number one, it's

00:45:00 --> 00:45:03

Thinking about the whole jihadi aspect of it, that this is this

00:45:03 --> 00:45:07

was important for them to defend themselves because they were under

00:45:07 --> 00:45:09

impending danger. Then after that,

00:45:11 --> 00:45:14

what's very interesting about the story apparently is that this was

00:45:14 --> 00:45:16

in the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. They

00:45:16 --> 00:45:20

were three Jewish tribes in Madina, Munawwara right, W ne, W,

00:45:20 --> 00:45:25

K, no CA, and the blucora. Right. And they were they had learned

00:45:25 --> 00:45:29

people among them, they had their other Ma, the rabbi is among them.

00:45:29 --> 00:45:36

Now, what this particular story about soul and the taboos, right

00:45:36 --> 00:45:41

the ark, whatever it was, that was something only the elect few

00:45:41 --> 00:45:44

learned individuals among the community knew, it was not

00:45:44 --> 00:45:47

something that the common Jewish individual knew among the three

00:45:47 --> 00:45:50

tribes at that time, according to what the overseeding historians

00:45:50 --> 00:45:54

mentioned. So the fact that this story is mentioned in the Quran,

00:45:54 --> 00:45:59

so much detail was like a big wow factor, right that this story, I

00:45:59 --> 00:46:03

mean, which, which is not being denied by the ruling, sorry, but

00:46:03 --> 00:46:06

by the religious elite among the Jewish tribes at that time. So

00:46:06 --> 00:46:12

this story is not just a story to provide a historical account, but

00:46:12 --> 00:46:15

it's to fulfill a number of different purposes, and one of

00:46:15 --> 00:46:18

them is to show the truth of the Quran. Right, that this isn't

00:46:18 --> 00:46:21

that's why there were a few Jewish rabbis that actually then convert

00:46:21 --> 00:46:27

us like Abdullah, salaam, and so on. Now, the other thing is that

00:46:27 --> 00:46:29

this story is

00:46:31 --> 00:46:35

speaking about coming fit in Karela, in whatever theater and

00:46:35 --> 00:46:41

Kathy Ratan Bismillah, this is a part of a verse that is quoted in

00:46:41 --> 00:46:46

numerous situations, especially when you've got a small group that

00:46:46 --> 00:46:51

and you face danger from a more powerful enemy, your foe and your

00:46:51 --> 00:46:56

opponent is much more powerful, or more in number. Right? So this is

00:46:56 --> 00:47:01

to give a huge amount of confidence and assurance, and

00:47:01 --> 00:47:06

trust in Allah subhanho wa taala. So the whole story is discussed.

00:47:07 --> 00:47:11

Number one, they didn't agree with Talu being the leader, because he

00:47:11 --> 00:47:15

didn't come from a special family, he didn't have a lot of money. So

00:47:15 --> 00:47:19

that sometimes you get the psyche among communities, including

00:47:19 --> 00:47:21

Muslim communities, that

00:47:22 --> 00:47:29

the those who have Prestidge, right, in any sense needs to be

00:47:29 --> 00:47:33

the worldly Prestidge you've got money or influence opposition, the

00:47:33 --> 00:47:36

religious prestige is nothing. That's why there's some countries

00:47:36 --> 00:47:39

in the world, they're all Mr. denigrate and looked down upon.

00:47:40 --> 00:47:43

Right. Because through media and so on, they've just made it that

00:47:43 --> 00:47:47

way, except in the minds of a few people hamdulillah in some

00:47:47 --> 00:47:50

countries, that's changing hugely, and they're orlimar becoming much

00:47:50 --> 00:47:54

more respectful, right and more respected. Then you've got certain

00:47:54 --> 00:47:57

countries in the world Muslim countries I'm talking about, they

00:47:57 --> 00:48:00

send that some of their best students, when I say the best

00:48:00 --> 00:48:04

students, not just best students, but also the most wealthiest

00:48:04 --> 00:48:07

students to our top universities here, like Imperial College and

00:48:08 --> 00:48:13

UCL and Oxford and Cambridge, and so on. These students come there

00:48:13 --> 00:48:17

from the from, you can say the wealthy elite of their countries,

00:48:17 --> 00:48:22

because I mean, who's gonna pay 20 30,000 pounds a year for fees?

00:48:22 --> 00:48:26

Right? UK people find 9000 A lot. I mean, 20,000, from another

00:48:26 --> 00:48:29

country, along with every other cost. So it's only the very elite

00:48:29 --> 00:48:32

that come. These people they come from a mindset of certain

00:48:32 --> 00:48:35

countries are like this, not all countries are like some countries

00:48:35 --> 00:48:40

are like that. They have a mindset that people who are religious or

00:48:40 --> 00:48:45

lowly, they like the low class, because generally among the

00:48:45 --> 00:48:47

wealthy elite in our country, the religion is not a big deal.

00:48:47 --> 00:48:52

Because money and position gives you a false sense of security.

00:48:52 --> 00:48:55

Religion also provides you security in the hereafter and this

00:48:55 --> 00:48:58

world and makes you deal with your emotions. But they don't know that

00:48:58 --> 00:49:00

because they can buy what they want.

00:49:01 --> 00:49:04

And they can get what they want. They feel like religion is not for

00:49:04 --> 00:49:07

them. I've got my money. I've got my context, right? I know somebody

00:49:07 --> 00:49:10

in the government, or I know somebody in the local police

00:49:10 --> 00:49:13

station, or whatever. So that's why a lot of corruption happens

00:49:13 --> 00:49:16

because of that. Some of these students, they come to the UK,

00:49:16 --> 00:49:20

maybe to America and other places. And now they're sitting next to

00:49:20 --> 00:49:26

Muslims who are from families born in the UK, who are religious girls

00:49:26 --> 00:49:30

in hijab niqab, even men who are praying salah, this masala,

00:49:30 --> 00:49:32

they're in the university and they're going for prayer. There's

00:49:32 --> 00:49:35

a Juma prayer, they're doing religious activities. These

00:49:35 --> 00:49:39

students is like, Wow, you guys are our kind of

00:49:41 --> 00:49:43

ultimate purpose in life. Like, we wish you could be like you, but

00:49:43 --> 00:49:47

what's wrong with you guys? And subhanAllah, many of them actually

00:49:47 --> 00:49:51

discover their religion in a Western country, which is really

00:49:51 --> 00:49:53

weird. I'm not saying that. Everybody needs to move to a

00:49:53 --> 00:49:56

Muslim country because of that. There's the pros and cons in every

00:49:56 --> 00:49:59

country in every place, and so on. But that's something to understand

00:49:59 --> 00:50:00

the same time

00:50:00 --> 00:50:03

Another thing you can see here as well, that they're saying that God

00:50:03 --> 00:50:06

will honor your kulula Homolka. Elena, when Bill came in, who will

00:50:06 --> 00:50:11

have you at the site at a minimal? How can he have sovereignty over

00:50:11 --> 00:50:16

us when we are more rightful and befitting of the sovereignty and

00:50:16 --> 00:50:20

he has not even given been given a lot of wealth. Allahu Akbar. So

00:50:20 --> 00:50:23

Allah says in Allah Stouffer who Alikum was the WHO bestaat on

00:50:23 --> 00:50:27

Phil, tell me, well, Jason, Allah has chosen him, the Prophet of

00:50:27 --> 00:50:32

Allah has chosen him over you and Allah has increased him both

00:50:32 --> 00:50:36

physically right? So mashallah, you know, he was mashallah well,

00:50:36 --> 00:50:40

well to do in terms of in terms of his body and physique, and also in

00:50:40 --> 00:50:46

knowledge, wala who yo T Malika Houma Yasha This is a huge amount

00:50:46 --> 00:50:51

of consolation for those who are downtrodden. Allah gives his

00:50:52 --> 00:50:56

sovereignty to whoever he wishes, Allah who is here on our team, and

00:50:56 --> 00:51:00

Allah is the expensive and most knowing he knows exactly where to

00:51:00 --> 00:51:04

play. And that's why throughout history, you've seen huge

00:51:04 --> 00:51:12

traditions, dynasties, people who were on an ascent, they were

00:51:12 --> 00:51:16

untouchable at that time. They were superior, they were

00:51:16 --> 00:51:21

superpowers. If you look at cars, Rose muda intestine, right of the

00:51:21 --> 00:51:24

Persian lands, that city was remarkable, right? There was no

00:51:24 --> 00:51:28

way you could, you know, they defeated the Romans. Today,

00:51:28 --> 00:51:34

there's no, there's there's not even a sign of them. Right. The

00:51:34 --> 00:51:37

few that are left, they're sitting in India, right? They're sitting

00:51:37 --> 00:51:41

in India, the fire worshippers, the Zoroastrians, the major ones.

00:51:41 --> 00:51:45

So if you look at history, you will see that whatever is

00:51:45 --> 00:51:48

ascendant right now, doesn't have to be tomorrow. As long as you do

00:51:48 --> 00:51:51

the right thing, Allah subhanho wa Taala will give you the true

00:51:51 --> 00:51:54

sovereignty, which is what really matters. And that's why this story

00:51:54 --> 00:51:58

is for them FOSATU to build Junoon then the whole discussion of a Dao

00:51:58 --> 00:52:02

with Ali salaam, young man at that time, who kills Goliath, the huge

00:52:02 --> 00:52:04

giant, right? And

00:52:05 --> 00:52:08

finally, Allah subhanho wa taala, just like in the first Jews,

00:52:08 --> 00:52:11

right, it's a perfect place to end this actually, the last verse here

00:52:11 --> 00:52:14

that was chosen to end this Jews in not by Allah subhanaw taala

00:52:14 --> 00:52:17

necessarily directly, although it is a choice of Allah because

00:52:17 --> 00:52:20

whoever made the study, Jews did it from Tofik with ofI from Allah,

00:52:21 --> 00:52:25

Allah says, Tilka to Allah, He Naklua Allah, you can be luck.

00:52:25 --> 00:52:30

We're in NACA laminal, mousseline, that these are the signs of Allah,

00:52:30 --> 00:52:34

that we relate to you that we recite to you, right with the

00:52:34 --> 00:52:37

truth, right, a lot of these things like the story was not

00:52:37 --> 00:52:40

known by the by the Jewish community at that time, or the

00:52:40 --> 00:52:44

majority of it. Were in Nicola, Mina and Mozillian, you are truly

00:52:44 --> 00:52:49

the sent messenger, you are truly the apostle of God, right, you are

00:52:49 --> 00:52:52

truly sent by Allah subhanho wa taala, again, to reinforce the

00:52:52 --> 00:52:55

message of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. So now just to

00:52:55 --> 00:53:00

quickly wrap up a few additional points, from the beginning to the

00:53:00 --> 00:53:06

end, just so that this kind of whirlwind roller coaster ride.

00:53:08 --> 00:53:11

We remember some of the main points, number one,

00:53:13 --> 00:53:17

from the aisle bill, the discussion was that the most

00:53:17 --> 00:53:23

important thing is that you purify your heart, and you straighten

00:53:23 --> 00:53:27

your approach to things as opposed to just being focused on the

00:53:27 --> 00:53:32

symbols, and outward ritual. But this is not to say, because you

00:53:32 --> 00:53:36

know, we've got a bit of a extreme, you've got some will say,

00:53:37 --> 00:53:41

focus on the symbols, and they forget the substance, you get

00:53:41 --> 00:53:43

those who claim that they're doing the substance, but they don't do

00:53:43 --> 00:53:47

the symbol, they won't pray. But I think that the objective of prayer

00:53:47 --> 00:53:52

is to be nice with others and be empathic and loving. So I'm doing

00:53:52 --> 00:53:56

that, but I'm not doing this. The truth is that all of it is

00:53:56 --> 00:54:00

important, that being empathic, loving, kind.

00:54:01 --> 00:54:06

Generous, is one important feature of Islam, one paradigm of Islam

00:54:06 --> 00:54:11

and prayer for Allah in a particular way, with the ritual,

00:54:12 --> 00:54:15

the outer form is also important. That's why this huge amount of

00:54:15 --> 00:54:18

laws related to that they're both important.

00:54:19 --> 00:54:21

So Allah subhanaw taala underscores both things here.

00:54:21 --> 00:54:22

Number two,

00:54:24 --> 00:54:28

in a lot of those verses studying, in fact, this juice is the one

00:54:28 --> 00:54:34

that it includes AYATUL beer, but it also includes another great

00:54:34 --> 00:54:38

idea, which is IRA to sober, right. And that's an idea that you

00:54:38 --> 00:54:41

should read carefully. And always keep in mind, especially when

00:54:41 --> 00:54:44

you're going through difficulty and you will find huge comfort,

00:54:45 --> 00:54:49

and solace and consolation in that. And that is from verse

00:54:49 --> 00:54:54

153 257. Yeah, yeah. Hello Adina. I'm gonna start you know with

00:54:54 --> 00:54:55

somebody was salah,

00:54:57 --> 00:54:59

or people who believe, seek assistance through patient

00:55:00 --> 00:55:04

and through prayer. So patience is our emotional state of how we put

00:55:04 --> 00:55:06

mind over matter. And we understand this from Allah, we're

00:55:06 --> 00:55:09

doing it for Allah. And physically, you're doing the outer

00:55:09 --> 00:55:13

form of prayer as well. All for the sake of Allah. And Allah says,

00:55:13 --> 00:55:17

because Allah is with the patient ones. And then Allah says, do not

00:55:18 --> 00:55:20

consider those who have been killed in the path of Allah that

00:55:20 --> 00:55:25

they did their very living, but you don't perceive that, we will

00:55:25 --> 00:55:29

certainly test you. This is that famous verse of test will

00:55:29 --> 00:55:33

certainly test you with a bit of health, and Jew, and noxee middle

00:55:33 --> 00:55:37

and while he went on for a thermal out a bit of deficient bit of a

00:55:37 --> 00:55:41

loss of children of crops of wealth and hunger, and so on, but

00:55:41 --> 00:55:45

give glad tidings to the people who are patient, right? When any

00:55:45 --> 00:55:49

kind of affliction reaches them. They say we are we belong to

00:55:49 --> 00:55:53

Allah, we're going to return to Him. We've lost this right now.

00:55:53 --> 00:55:57

Right? But we're also going to be lost to Allah one day. And these

00:55:57 --> 00:56:00

are the people upon whom is the blessing of the Lord, and the

00:56:00 --> 00:56:03

mercy. And these are the people who are guided, they know what to

00:56:03 --> 00:56:03

do in this state.

00:56:05 --> 00:56:07

Then after that, we had the whole discussion about the obligation of

00:56:07 --> 00:56:11

fasting and the related rulings, and so on. So that's something

00:56:11 --> 00:56:14

very important to go through. Right, Number Number four, the

00:56:14 --> 00:56:18

next one is about hedge and so on. But as I mentioned, in this surah,

00:56:19 --> 00:56:22

it's the a lot of the physical aspects of the surah. Whereas

00:56:22 --> 00:56:24

insert will hedge discusses a lot of the emotional aspects there.

00:56:25 --> 00:56:30

And number. The next one is huge discussion about family life.

00:56:30 --> 00:56:35

Family life is made up of husband and wife, marriage, divorce,

00:56:36 --> 00:56:40

custody, children, nursing, all of that is discussed there. But Allah

00:56:41 --> 00:56:46

links all of that up to taqwa, lots of discussion. You look at

00:56:46 --> 00:56:48

those verses, when you read them closely, you'll see that there's

00:56:48 --> 00:56:52

lots of discussion about being cognizant of Allah subhanaw taala,

00:56:52 --> 00:56:55

having taqwa and righteousness to make that work properly, because

00:56:55 --> 00:56:57

if you don't, it's not going to work for it's going to be very

00:56:57 --> 00:57:00

selfish. And finally, the discussion is about Joe Lutz,

00:57:00 --> 00:57:05

right, Goliath, huge discussion of somebody following your leader,

00:57:06 --> 00:57:09

and doing the right thing and keeping you hoping Allah. And that

00:57:09 --> 00:57:14

also teaches us steadfastness, sticking to your principles, that

00:57:14 --> 00:57:17

gives us all of that discussion and how small groups will even

00:57:17 --> 00:57:20

overcome big ones because the assistance of Allah is the most

00:57:20 --> 00:57:23

important thing for anybody. And the last point I want to make

00:57:23 --> 00:57:27

here, verse 251, well oh Allah for Allah hiddenness, which we're

00:57:27 --> 00:57:29

going to be discussing tomorrow. So I leave that right now. But may

00:57:29 --> 00:57:33

Allah subhanaw taala accept. May Allah accept May Allah guide us

00:57:33 --> 00:57:36

and may Allah open up the Quran for us and make it a solace and

00:57:36 --> 00:57:39

comfort for our heart? Well, I can read that one. And Al hamdu

00:57:39 --> 00:57:40

Lillahi Rabbil Alameen
