In the Quran, Allah subhanaw taala refers to the Quran as yet, the Word of God is plural of the word ayah, which means sign not just any sign but a huge, powerful, remarkable, breathtaking attention grabbing, amazing sign that point you and lead you to something much more important and profound. And so a lot of refers to the Quran, in the Quran, as iaat as the signs of God as the signs of Allah subhanaw taala. Now of course, when we use the word I at times, there are two types of signs, there is a smooth, the, the ayat that are recited and heard and listened to. And of course, we normally translate that as verses of the Quran. And then there is mu Shahada. There are the ions that are
witnessed and that's of course, all the beauty and magnificence of God's creation all around us.
So Allah subhanaw taala in the Quran, in Surah de Daya number nine he says, will levy Yuna Zilla Allah RB D it began at in Leo criegee akumina Villa Mati Eleanor, when Allah have become law ooh for him, that he that he alone, Allah alone is the one who gradually sends down upon his beloved slave, Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, I got signs versus beginner that are very clear and clarifying lucre giacomin avola Mattila Nur, to extract you, to take you from the, from the depths of darkness, buried under layers upon layers upon layers of darkness, to the singular light, the unifying light, the clarifying light of Allah subhanho wa Taala, when the law become little for him, and Allah
subhanaw taala without a doubt, is extremely compassionate and constantly merciful. So the first name of the Quran, or the first description of the Quran that we're learning for the Quran itself in the Quran, itself is not the Quran, in and of itself is a huge sign from Allah subhanaw taala it makes us think it makes us listen, it makes us look it makes us reflect, it makes us internalize, and thereby helping us to realize and achieve a relationship with the lowest power to Allah, leaving the the darkness of ignorance. And he listened to us and unaware, being unaware and arriving into the light and thereby being educated, being enlightened and being conscious cognizance and Cognizant
and aware of our connection and our relationship with Allah subhanaw taala and the role that Allah plays within our lives.
