What is bid’ah, innovation? – From my live Instagram reminders

about a topic that gets misunderstood a lot of times or can be a, a major cause for someone to have this the displeasure of Allah azza wa jal.

The question is what is bid what is bid or innovation? What is innovation in the religion of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And I'm going to try to make this as easy as it can be to understand in sha Allah hota Allah.

So I'm going to try to make it as simple as possible.

Bid innovation,

innovation in the religion of Allah subhanho wa Taala is this.

Anything anything that you believe anything that you do,

that you think will bring the pleasure of Allah subhanho wa to Allah, or anything that you believe

will bring you closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala Anna, that you believe to be part and parcel to the religion that was not practice that was not practiced by the prophet Muhammad Ali salatu salam that was not permitted to be practiced by the prophet Muhammad eSATA was certain that we do not see in his Sunnah. Nor do we see practice by the companions of the Prophet alayhi salaatu wa Salaam

And the Sunnah means that which the Prophet alayhi salaatu wa Salaam himself did, that which he told to be done or that which he allowed to be done in his presence and did not disagree with it. Anything outside of this is bid there is innovation in the religion of Allah subhanho wa Taala and is forbidden and is forbidden. And it is a major sin it is a major sin bid is worse than sin, in the simple fact that those who commit sin know they commit sins and they will

they can repent from those sins. But someone who does bid or innovation believes that those things are good, and they will not therefore repent from them, and they will just continue to compound them on top of themselves. This is innovation. So when it comes to your worship, when it comes to your worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala Anna, anything that you do to worship Allah should be found either in the Koran, or in the Sunnah of the Prophet Lisa to a certain practice by him or his companions. He saw this man doing his tasbeeh but the way he was doing it, because we know the sooner the Prophet alayhi salaatu wa Salaam is that he would count his TSB on his fingers Subhanallah SubhanAllah. So he would count him on his fingers, he saw this man counting tasbeeh by having a pile of stones. And when he would say,

one of his EF core, he would move that stone to a another pile. So you would say Subhan Allah move the stone Subhanallah so we could keep count of his destiny. And this companion came to him again, if anybody remembers this story and remember the name, please interject. Or it might come to me by the end.

He came but this is all this is a verified story. An authentic story of one of the prophets, companions on the Allahu and he came to this man and he scolded him by saying

So if you are in doubt, and I'm not going to go to the specifics of is this thing I mean, that thing I've been this, listen to me.

If you're in doubt about whether the thing that you are doing is a bid that or not meaning that it is a gray area, it is in between the gray areas of of halal and haram or yes or no. Then the best thing The best thing is to leave it alone. Leave it alone, because the Prophet alayhi salaatu wa Salaam said that the halal is by you know it's clear the Haram is by tuna it is clear between those two things there is what we know as the gray areas things that are not particularly understood. So one of two things need to take place. Either you need to speak to someone of high knowledge either you need to speak to someone of high knowledge and get an opinion about this or you leave it alone.

And he got married and they said you were going to abstain from marriage and practice chastity. When this was told to the Prophet alayhi salatu wa sallam, he walked into the masjid stood on the member said hood Porter hijjah and then said I have heard

There are some people who said that they can do better than me that they are going to pray without break without without sleeping. They're going to fast without breaking it and they're not going to get married. And he himself at ad set out to a ceram said, I pray, I mean I fast and I break my fast. I pray at night and I sleep at night, and I get married to women and there is none of you that can worship Allah subhanho wa Taala better than me, so he scolded them in a very, very serious manner. So you cannot do better at worshiping Allah azza wa jal than the Prophet alayhi salaatu wa sallam, you cannot worship Allah subhanho wa Taala better than him. So do not try to do so. And the

Again, those things that are outside of the religion.

Innovation is a good thing. Innovation is a good thing. Like I said before.

And he agreed to do so. And some steps were made for him. And that became part of the Sunnah, that now those steps are in most messages, so that his voice would

breach to them at the back. So in that understanding, yes, having microphone systems now is something that is not a problem because it is not putting something into the religion of Allah subhanho wa Taala using the mobile phone now how I'm using this social media to give you that one. This is part of innovation that is good, because it's not part of the religion, but anything that you consider to be part of your religion, part of your worship to Allah subhanho wa Taala it must have some evidence from the Quran or from the Sunnah of the Prophet alayhi salaatu wa sallam, if not, this is

something you should stay away from. And again, if you need to ask Is this okay? Is that okay? What about this? What about that? Again, look and see if you can find some evidence from the Prophet alayhi salatu salam, or his companions or as someone of great knowledge in your area, someone who is able to give you this information. And if it is a gray area for you right now and you don't know and you you might have some inclination that this might not be okay.
