Another thing we come upon in our life with Da, is we give it a

little bit of an effort. And we want a type of McDonald's

approach. And this doesn't happen. So many people I tried doing da it

didn't work. I guarantee you, most things in life don't work because

people give up on it. And we've come to expect a drive thru ATM

reality. Immediate, I need to hit the refresh button. I need to get

what I want. And that's something that's happened the prophets I

send them said at the end of time, the sub will disappear, patients

will disappear. Now why would patients disappear? It's because

technology and life is getting faster. Okay, the idea of waiting

for a message from somebody doesn't exist anymore, because you

email them, you call them you text them immediately, Trent

information is transmitted all the time. But there are other things

in life. There are no shortcuts, getting physically fit, getting an

education, saving money, getting wealthy. There are no shortcuts to

these things while the world of DA is closer to that. And then your

ATM machine and your drive thru.

People one time a guy came up to me and he said I've been making

dua to get married, I can't get married. And I said, What's the

issue? He said six months? I said, Look, how long did it take for you

to get a high school diploma took you four years to get a high

school diploma. That's not even something you really care about.

Right? Nobody goes on hang in there high school diploma. So you

care about marriage far more than high school but your did four

years of high school, they need four years of college, then you

did four years of medical school. Now at the end of all this, you

have a wife and you have your medical school degree do you have

to lose one which one, you're gonna lose your medical school

degree, keep your wife right. So in this case, your wife is more

important. It took you four years medical school, four years

residency, eight years you devote it to be an independent physician

at a doctor but eight years and you're not willing to wait eight

months, right? To wait and to let this prayer marinate and to let

Allah transform you. Why is it that Allah Salah if he's so

merciful, doesn't give us what we want right away? Well, why doesn't

anyone do that? Because you need to marinate, you need to

transform. And on top of that Allah Tala sometimes loves the dua

of ARB so much that he withholds his otha or his gift from that

prayer. Now, sometimes we also need to marinate we need to

develop, we need to change we need to transform as we are right now

we can't receive what we're asking for. So when Allah Tada wants to

give it to us, he needs to transform us first, you need to

mature a little bit you need to grow and through your constant

life of dua, he will transform you will grow to make yourself ready

to receive it. By the way, sometimes one of the problems with

receiving is sometimes you're too attached to something. So Allah

Tada will give you somebody make you wait a little bit. So your

level of attachment is just right. Neither you're too detached, that

you don't care anymore, nor too attached that you ruin it. And how

many times is that the case you want something too much, you're

gonna ruin it. So your attachment level is too high. So Allah makes

you wait a little bit good. So your attachment levels should go

to the right amount. We're not like Buddhists have zero

attachment to anything at all.

And too much attachment, the opposite extreme can cause you to

ruin the matter. And to be blinded to realize really, truly your

attachment and your number one attachment should be to Allah to

Allah, and you should have sufficiency with that. And then

you could love other things after that. So all of these are from the

wisdoms, alright. That it takes time. And it's the misconception

that I tried it and it didn't work, because we have this idea

that it should be like this, of send a text message to somebody

outside send a text message to the heavens and get an answer right

back. It doesn't work like this. So sometimes you just have to have

stubborn and you have to have patience.
