More Taimiyyah Zubair - Taleem al-Quran 2010 - Juz 23
Juz 23 encompasses the final verses of Surah Yasin that portrays the appalling state of the Day of Resurrection when all our deeds will be presented before us and the realization of it all will hit us hard.
The Juz continues into the next powerful chapter, Surah al-Saffat with its distinctive style of short verses. Some of the themes covered in this Surah are angels, the eavesdropping of the jinn, Allah’s creation and those who deny it.
The next chapter covered in this Juz is Surah Saad, which embarks us on the journey of the Prophets and the deep wisdom we derive from it.
In conclusion, the Juz 23 deals with Surah al Zumar which almost entirely concentrates on a single theme – Tawheed al Uloohiyyah.
