Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar.
Illa Illa Allah Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar wa de la Hill Hammond.
When the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam immigrated from Mecca to Medina. He had some men who immigrated with him also from Mecca to Medina. And likewise, Panama, many of us in this country, we have immigrated from our country and we came here
and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when he immigrated from Mecca to Medina. With this group of men, and women and children, they established the first Muslim community on earth.
And here we are, when we immigrated from our homeland, and we came here.
Our intention, first and foremost, should be to establish our Muslim community and be the best ambassadors of Islam. Yes, we have better education, you have better style of life, you have better medication system or medical system. But the main concern is to stablish a Muslim community. So how did the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam stablished, the first and the best Muslim community in the history of mankind. The first thing when the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam arrived in Medina, he was riding the camel. And everyone tried to take the camel to his home to host the Prophet sallallahu wasallam. Because imagine, you're arriving at a new land, and you have nothing there, you
own nothing. And most of the Sahaba when they immigrated from Mecca to Medina, they brought nothing with them. They were first even to leave their families back home. So they will come in with their faith. And that's a reminder for all of us. We come here with our faith, not to lose our faith and not for our children to lose their faith and their identity. This is very important. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi Salaam said to everyone who was trying to hold the camera and take it to his house, he said that I will have a moron. Leave the camera because it's commanded by Allah. When the camera would stop. This is going to be the first Masjid in Medina.
And this is the cornerstone of any Muslim community, the masjid, the Islamic Center, a place not only for people to come and pray and practice rituals. No. It's an Islamic University. It's an open Islamic University, where everybody come to learn the deen how many of us know about our Deen? How much we know about the peran? How much do we know about the Sierra of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam how much we know about what's allowed and what's Haram. So this is the role of the first cornerstone of the Muslim community, which is the masjid and where they come and stop the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam stablish the message that we all visit now, which is unimaginable ie the
prophetic Masjid in Medina. May Allah subhanho wa Taala allow us next year in sha Allah to go and visit me. So this was the first component of the Muslim community. The message is very important. And we all should teach our kids how to love the masjid, how to come to the masjid and it's our role, how to offer programs and activities that will motivate the children, the teenagers, men and women and everyone in the community to come. That's number one. Number two, now that we have the message, who will come to the masjid people, and now the Muslim community was two main components at that time. There were hygiene, those who immigrated and the unsolved those who accepted Islam and
they were living in Medina and they're cold and sore because they supported them of hygiene and they receive them
So the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam made something very important which is Al Maha breathable hygiene our answer stablishing brotherhood between each one from the Mahajan, the immigrants from Makkah, and each one of the answers those who are Muslims in Medina, and beautiful examples happen. And just to give you one example, after Rachmaninov in Mecca was one of the richest people. But when he came to Medina, he had nothing to confer the Michigan and Packer forced him to leave everything back. So he's coming with nothing. And the Prophet salallahu alaihe salam was very keen to choose the right person, the right person. So the Brotherhood that happened was between North and South of
Namibia. And that was one of the wealthiest people of Medina too. So sad. What did he do? And this is the spirit that should be between the Muslim brothers in a Muslim community.
this, listen, these are my two houses, choose whichever one you like, it's yours for nothing free. Then he took him to his two farms. And he said, Listen, these are my two farms. Choose which one you like, it's yours for free. You don't have to pay anything. That's brotherhood. That's real brotherhood. So you know, I'm not gonna continue with this, because it's a long one. But this is how to show you that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, because of this beautiful deal, was able to bring the hearts together and make a strong community based on that feeling of brotherhood and sisterhood between the components of the Muslim community. So the first pillar was the masjid.
The House of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And it's not as I said, just a Masjid a place for sujood No, it's a community center where people come and entertain themselves, and a place where everybody is welcome. And it's not only for the Muslims, it's also for the larger community so that we can invite them to Islam. Because this is our job after the prophet SAW Selim. There is no other Prophet, he is the seed of prophets. Yet Allah subhanho wa Taala told him in 2007
mattone lilla Lemmy Oh, Mohamed, we have not sent you except as mercy for all nations for all people for all civilizations. But he died more than 14 centuries ago, who is going to continue that Rama, that mercy, it's his followers. So we are the only oma who is blessed with the work of prophets. So that's why we should do Tao. This is why this place is called Saskatoon, Dawa, and community center just to embody all these meanings. It's not just a place for rituals, but it's a place for salah and the oma to come together. And it's a think tank, its activities, its programs. It's all the, you know, the different classes of the community, and also the non Muslims should come and be invited to
Islam. The third pillar, the Prophet sallallahu, Alayhi. Salam did, and economic system, which is very important for the strength of the oma, the Selim used to walk in the markets and check if somebody is doing anything wrong, he saw a man
who was selling some, some some like barley or some wheat, and suppiler, the rain came down, and it was full of rain, but the man put the dry one on the top. So the professor put his hand deep inside, and he brought the width one on the top, and he said, this is wrong, man, the question aphanizomenon, whoever cheats is not really exhibiting the true spirit of Islam show what's the defect of what you're selling. So this is very important for us as Muslims, if you are selling a car, you have to tell the person Listen, this car has this and this or you buy it as is, you don't try to make it look beautiful. And then later on is going to say a Muslim cheated me. You are
betraying Islam. So we don't deal with Riba. That's what the prophet said. I'm also told the Muslims so when we come here, we should remember we are the immigrants and there are some people who accepted Islam here. They are the unsolved, so we should remind each other that we don't deal with interest. And if you have done this in the past, it's time to make Toba and stop. The last thing I want to share with you, which is the fourth and most important component of the first Muslim community was the prophets of Salaam made a covenant made an agreement between the Muslims and the non Muslims who are living in Medina suppiler because the Muslims after that they were the minority,
but gradually became the majority. So there is a system that we follow what we do
With the non Muslims because some people will tell you, you know what these are so far everything is holiday, you can take their money you can cheat them. This is not Islam, Allah subhanaw taala set a rule in dealing with the People of the Book. Not only that with all the non Muslims at large, if you read in southern Montana, so number 60 and number eight, Allah subhanho wa Taala said Lyon Hakuna LA and lnmu quality lucam for de when an employee to come in Dr. Egan, and terbaru moto sotto la him in Allahu Allah says, Allah does not forbid you as regards those who do not fight you because of your religion, because you're a Muslim, and they do not expel you out of your homes because you're
Muslims. So Allah says, Allah does not forbid you regarding these people, to do better to them. And justice Allahu Akbar, is the excellent standard behavior when you deal with your parents today. So let's say with those people, as long as they don't fight, you count your religion, and they don't expect you out of your homes. And also you have to be fair to them, deal with justice with them. Why? Because Allah loves those who are fair. So these are the four components of the Muslim community if you want our Muslim community to thrive, remember these four components, not only msgid but but an Islamic Center and a community center also that welcomes everyone. Second, the spirit of
brotherhood and sisterhood amongst all the people of this community. They take care of each other. They look for each other, they help one another. Third, an economic system which is based on dealing with halon No cheating, no Riba. The last thing in our relationship with the non Muslims our our job is to invite them to Islam. And the best way to invite them to Islam is by behaving as Muslims. This is the most influential hour you can do a poll of holy hair that was stopped from Bollywood

Also, let's exhibit the spirit of Islam by going back to Allah subhanaw taala and see what's missing in our life. And take this whole bunch of Allah, I wish we could have provided space for everyone, for the children, for the woman for everyone.
