We praise Allah subhanho wa Taala Send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, his entire household and all his companions. May Allah subhanho wa Taala bless all those who have followed up to the end of time, all those who shall follow and may He make us from amongst them, I mean, my dearest mothers and sisters, the verses I have read for you this morning, are verses of surah to casas as you know, we have completed the story of musala is Salatu was Salam. To a certain extent, there are some other aspects of the story of Musa alayhis salam, or some of his people, that shall still be coming later on in this surah. But for now, attention is diverted to the

people of Quraysh, and the people at the time of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And the lesson is for every one of us, Allah says, and indeed, now we have conveyed the word, the word which is this Koran in which this news or the news of everything is to them, to them meaning

two things. One is that the people prior to the Islamic Advent, or the advent of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam, were already told of the coming of the next messengers, in a manner that they would then arrive at Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Prophethood, knowing that previous scriptures have already made mention of them, and of the Quran, so that is one translation. That is also a correct translation. The second translation is that information in the Quran has been given in such a way that now we know the stories of the previous Prophets, and the people of Quraysh were given warnings by the stories of the previous nations being made mention of this is also one of the

translations. So this would mean that myself and yourself today, reading the stories of the previous scriptures, and the previous people and prophets and what happened to them, and how they responded to their prophets.

All this would be a lesson and a warning for us. So this is why

Allah says in order that they may remember or receive admonition, so that they may take heed. So Allah says, those to whom we gave the scriptures, which is referring to the Torah and the Injeel, the Bible and the Torah, etc, before it, which means before the Quran, they believe in the Quran. So they know in their scriptures, the mention of the Koran that is there today, if we do not find the mention of the Quran, in the translations of the Bible that we find in our midst, we should know that there has been some form of change for your information. There are countless versions of the Bible. Each one is different from the other in many ways. So obviously, they have chopped and

changed, some of them are more than 100 pages, compared to the others. So this is why we say that the Bible has been changed. Unlike the Koran, we know it has not been changed. May Allah subhanho wa Taala preserve it, and may He make us from those who realize its value.

So Allah says,

and when it is recited to them, they say we believe in it. Verily, it is the truth from our Lord, indeed, even before it, we have been from those who submit.

We have been from those who submit themselves to Allah, in Islam as Muslims. Now this is the likes of Abdullah Abu salam, and salmaan and faricy. As mentioned here in the translation of the noble or an those who had received the book before Islam, and they had read and studied the Torah and the Injeel, the Bible and the Torah. And then when the verses of the Quran were read, they recognize these verses and immediately surrended making the following statement they said, We believe in this Koran because it is the truth from our Lord indeed, even before the sporran we have been from those who submitted themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims, which means as submitters, whatever Allah

said in the Bible, whilst the next messenger had not yet come, we surrendered to it when

The next messenger came we surrender to what he brought, just like those who had surrendered to what Musa alayhis salaam, the Prophet Moses May peace be upon him had brought, when Jesus May peace be upon him was sent. Obviously they now had to surrender to what he brought. And we've spoken in the past about how the matters of belief are all the same. We believe in the Almighty, we believe in the prophets, we believe in the last day we believe in the books we believe in the angels, we believe in heaven and hell, we believe in the last day we believe in good and bad faith coming from the Almighty and so on. All these tenets of belief are exactly the same with every single prophets,

teachings, but what what differs, the method of prayer, sometimes the method of sacrifice, sometimes what is permissible and prohibited, that differs with profit, from profit to profit, depending on the time, the age and the peak at that particular time and so on. So these people accepted, Allah is praising them in the Quran. So Allah says, Allah, aka, these will be given their reward twice over once for having adopted the laws that came prior to Islam, which were revealed by Allah Subhana Allah, so they had the opportunity to adopt the Bible, at that particular time when it was valid. And then immediately after that, when the Quran was recited to them, they surrendered to it. So they

deserve a double reward. Unlike some who have refused to entertain the Koran, although they know that the message is actually an extension from what had been revealed previously. So Allah says, because they are patient be more sabado they have engaged in much forbearance, and they have been very patient they have accepted the almighty decree and decision and they repel evil with good.

My mothers and sisters, I want to stop there for a minute. When someone does something bad to you, you have the right to actually reap, you know, revenge or retaliate. But what would be better is to recompense with goodness, to repel evil with that which is good. When that happens, then we have arrived at a new level. And that is a very, very high spiritual level of the prophets and those who are loved by the Almighty. So when people do evil to you and you can repel with goodness, then you know, you need to know that this spiritual level that you are upon, has Alhamdulillah been elevated, because that only happens to those who really have much goodness given to them from Allah subhanho

wa Taala. So here these people are being praised, Allah says, they will be given their reward twice over, because they are patient and repel evil with good and they spend in charity out of what We have provided for them.

So whatever they earn, there is a portion that they have set aside, that will always be spent on the poor, and on the needy and perhaps charitable deeds for to towards others. And they spend from what Allah has given them. This verse automatically means that whatever we have is given from Allah by Allah in the control of Allah, and as Allah wills. So Allah is just watching us to say I gave you a million I gave you a billion and I gave you a trillion. And I would like to just watch what you are doing with your million and what you are doing with your billion and what you are doing with your trillion. Notice the way I said you is referring to three different people, my mothers and sisters,

then Allah subhanho wa Taala says, what are some your loved one, these are the qualities of those who will receive their reward twice.

When they heard

that which was dirty, dirty speech, or false speech, or evil or vain talk that which was unnecessary waste of time. In today's life, music would be included in that swear words would be included in that gossip and backbiting would be included in that slander and falsehood was included in that and all forms of dirty speeches included in this. So those who receive a double reward from Allah, they are the ones whom when they hear a level, they withdraw from it and say, to us, our deeds and to you your deeds, peace be upon you, we seek not the way of the ignorance so they leave that particular gathering immediately how many of us are ready to get up and walk out when our sisters are

backbiting? How many of us are ready to cut the call whether you blame Econet or vodacom is besides the point, but you cut the call when someone starts backbiting slandering, swearing or speaking nonsense or dirty speech. How many of us are ready to actually tell our friends that you know your deeds are yours my deeds a mind their deeds are theirs and let us stop butting into the affairs of others in this particular way. It is not constructive at all. we've engaged in dirty speech, we're missing our tongues and we're reducing the possibility of receiving a reward from Allah subhanho wa Taala perhaps eradicating it.

So if we are prepared to do that, then we deserve a double reward.

Because, remember in this world, whatever you do, supposed to be to please Allah, even if it is at the displeasure of entire humanity. So remember that rule. The rule is, no matter what people think of you, your presentation on the Day of Judgment is going to be yours to your Creator and that will be your ultimate position that you will have earned your heaven or hell or the place within the ranks in heaven. May Allah grant us Jenna, it will be very closely determined by what you try to do whilst you are in this world as well as the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala We ask Allah to grant us His mercy and we asked him to make us try our best whilst we are in this world to adopt whatever

he has laid down May Allah subhanahu wa taala open our doors.

So this is why Allah subhanho wa Taala describes such people and Allah says these people will receive a double reward they used to withdraw from the speech, they used to withdraw whenever they heard vain talk that which is a waste of time. Waste of time is actually a very high level to be able to stay away from that which is not perhaps directly prohibited but detested because it is just a waste of time. You know, people are sitting chit chatting until late at night doing nothing you'd rather sit and pamper your spouse, may Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us goodness, there are other things you'd rather do you know, engage in the praise of Allah subhanho wa Taala if you take a look

this morning, I heard the birds Mashallah, as we were returning from salado and so beautifully they were chirping and I thought to myself, you know, we are taught that even the birds they declare the praise of Allah and all creatures declare the praise of Allah and people are snoring declaring the praise of the devil. Allah, Allah protect us will lie. Sometimes our spouses are so frustrated with the snoring that we actually engage in at night that they use earplugs which are kindly distributed by the pharmacy down the road. Now Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us goodness, my dearest mothers and sisters rather use that mouth to declare the praise of Allah at the right times. I feel so

embarrassed to hear the birds declare the praise of Allah and the other creatures Mashallah. And I tell myself where am I Subhana Allah? Why should we allow these other creatures to get their level and status when we are just sitting in bed start saying Subhana Allah, He will be handy he added a selfie What are you gonna see he was in a tauschii when we did that Kalamata he uttered it a few times with proper conviction, declare the praise of Allah in your language, Oh Allah, I praise you, your Allah, I love you. Yeah, Allah, you are the highest you have given everything to me, Glory be to You my makeup, Allah Akbar. Now you're competing with the birds, and Subhanallah the rest of the

creatures like we read in Surah Rahman. Allah says, one more shadow, yes, Judah.

Beautiful verse, Allah says, and the star as well as the Oh, should I say the stars and the trees? They prostrate to Allah and you Oh, man. This question is obviously being asked by us. We're seeing the stars and the trees prostrate. For Allah sake and to Allah, they worship Allah literally prostration the word is used in the Quran. And men, when was the last time you frustrated for Allah Subhana Allah to Allah willingly like we say, you pray, you read Salah, not because you have to, but because you want to that is a level on its own My beloved mothers and sisters Allahu Akbar, may Allah make us from those who enjoy it. Whenever we put our heads on the ground for our maker, and we

think to ourselves, yeah, Allah, on the day of judgment. Remember this time and these moments when I put my head on the ground for you, and forgive the moments when I may have slipped up here and there? May Allah subhanho wa Taala, grant us paradise based on the good we have done, and may He protect us from the evil of our own doings. I mean, my mothers and sisters, then what happens there is a verse directed to Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam, verse number 656, of Surah 28, where Allah subhanho wa Taala is now addressing him. The reason is, after Allah makes mention of these people who accepted Islam, who accepted the Koran after having read the Bible, and the Torah, and

those who will achieve a double reward, there were certain relatives of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam, who refused the message as close as he was to them from amongst them his uncle, Abu polyp. And what happened is Muhammad Salallahu alaihe salam was very hard, so as we would say, because he knew that this is my uncle, and he has helped me a lot. And still he is not declaring the Shahada and he has not openly declared that there is one Allah nor has he openly declared that I am the messenger sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So he was hurting, and Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed verses to him saying, in kehlata demon, Baba ki

Do me Asha

Daddy, verily you own Mohammed Salah Salam do not guide whom you like but Allah guides whom He wills and he knows best those who are the guided Allahu Akbar, which means they are two different types of guidance. One is to show the person the path and two is the ability of that person to be now walking on the path. The first one is possible every one of us can guide people by telling them what is right and wrong, whether they actually acknowledge and work according to what you told them. That is in the hands of Allah subhanho wa Taala between them and Allah subhanho wa Taala. So when you tell your son or your daughter do not swear, when we hear the verses of the Koran, my mothers and

sisters, listen to this very carefully. We heard today how bad it is to engage in backbiting, slander, you know vain speech, dirty language and even to attend such gatherings and we learned how important it is to walk away and to put the phone down and to cut the discussion short if it is heading in the wrong direction, full of filth and dirt. But how many of us will actually be able to do that? That is between us and Allah Subhana Allah Allah Allah guides, we asked for guidance Allahumma mckinleyville kurobe a bit kulu banheira de O Allah, in whose hands lies the turning of the hearts, turn our hearts towards this Deen and not away from it. I mean, my mothers and sisters,

so this is why Allah says guidance in terms of telling them what's right and wrong. You are a guide. While in Nicoletta de la creme stepping over Mohammed sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, you definitely guide people to the straight path. That is the first type of guidance which means he tells them and shows them whether they work walk on it or not. And whether they work towards it all within it. That is another issue altogether. That is in the hands of the Almighty Allah Subhana Allah to Allah being referred to in this particular verse, where Allah subhanho wa Taala says you do not have the power to ensure that they tread upon the guidance, we actually have the power to do that and we know

better who is actually rightly guided May Allah subhanho wa Taala guide us this is why one of the biggest doors we have ever made as Muslims.

I feel like saying guess what it is because a lot of us would not know if someone tells you and asks you a question What is the most powerful do that exists?

You know what it would be a douar that you make many many times a day Let me show you where it is Alhamdulillah here Abdullah Al amin we praising Allah Allah Rahim we praising Allah, Maliki homie Deen we praising Allah, he cannot do any kennestone we praising Allah, then Allah says no my worship it will get whatever he asks for the first thing we ask for it Do you know Sarah Stuckey.

him Allah ma ni mo, I mean, what a powerful guide us through the straight path Guide us to the straight path, the path of those whom you have favored and not the path of those who have gone astray or earned your anger and your anger or gone astray. I know gambling is prohibited. I know that swearing, lying, deceiving, cheating, oppressing, harming, cunning, conniving, you know stealing, or should I say usurping, etc, etc, is all prohibited but whether or not I abstain or

engage in what pleases Allah subhanho wa Taala that is in the hands of Allah, I need to seek it. I need to ask him for it and actively in use whatever power I have been granted by Allah to ensure that I fulfill that. So whatever capacity I have been given by Allah, I need to use that entire capacity to ensure that I fulfill His commands and instructions, even if it means a piece of cloth on my head. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. May Allah grant us the strength

and even if it means giving up the clothes that I wear in public that are wrong, that type of guidance is in the hands of Allah, we know what is right and wrong. Shaytan comes in, tell us not now. You're very young, you know, not now. Your legs are so smooth and smart. You know, let the world look at them. Not now. You know, your hair is

flicking in the wind. You know? So what are you waiting for the day Allah makes you bald before you actually put on a scarf? Are you waiting for the day that your legs are damaged or hurt and harmed before you actually put on the proper clothing? Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. My mothers and sisters, look at how beautifully Allah warns us and at the same time, he gives us lots and lots of hope. May Allah subhanho wa Taala Have mercy on us. So Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was told that you see the people who are guided that is in our hands, it depends on their seriousness, and it depends whether they have exerted their capacities towards wanting to achieve the treading on that

particular path of guidance. Subhana Allah beautiful words. So behind Allah Subhana Allah,

my mothers and sisters, how can we still walk on the wrong path? After Allah has beautifully told us that you know what, it's us who guides my brothers and sisters, we are so thankful to Allah, we are sitting on the path, we are sitting on the path of Shahada, La ilaha illAllah, Muhammad Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, this is the path, why don't we get up and start walking on that particular path in such a way that we can get closer and closer to our destination, which is gender. I mean, may Allah granted to us.

Now what happened, the co founder of Piraeus began to utter utterances and these utterances, some of them are repeated here. And Allah is responding in order to grant comfort to us and to Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam. So first number 57. Allah says, and they say, Who are they? These are the co founder of Mecca.

They knew that this particular plan was guidance, but they did not work on it. You see, this is why the guidance that is being spoken about in the previous verse is actually being able to walk on the path not necessarily to know or not to know because they knew the message was loud and clear. Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam said it openly. And they knew also that it was correct. in their hearts, they knew that that is the correct path, like how people who cannot give up a music disc they know in their hearts that this is wrong. Even if people have debated about music in the past, they were not talking about what is happening today. Today it is Satanism and dirt to the degree that the

Christians and Jews who fear their own, you know, within their own beliefs, they fear their maker, or they understand their beliefs, they too have given up this type of dirty, what is called music today, may Allah safeguard us within the limits would be a certain type of a drum on a specific occasion. And that is what would have been termed music at the time. But it was nothing beyond that. So if anyone says music is permissible, perhaps they are speaking about just a drum, a specific type of a drum on a specific occasion. But they are not speaking of the dirt that happens today, with the worst of lyrics full of Satanism and devilish behavior of the highest degree. May Allah subhanho wa

Taala protect us and our offspring. So when we hear that, and we know that it's wrong, the ability to take the disc and throw it out. People know it's wrong, but they don't want to throw it out because they've paid their dear green back in order to achieve that, you know, they earned the 50 bucks, they earned it. So, you know, well, I wonder in our communities, perhaps women get it dished out to them, Allah protect us. But sometimes, you know, they have it and they know that this thing doesn't come by in a rush will order it from Dubai and Australia and America and Canada and the UK and so on. When you go there, you know, bring for me the latest beat Allahu Akbar, ooh, Bella, why

don't we say bring for me the latest, you know, in terms of rat which will achieve spirituality. May Allah make us from amongst those. So

Allah says, and they say, if we follow the guidance with you, we would be snatched away from our land. This means people will come and fight us and they will steal our land from us. Because when they hear that the whole of Makkah is now Islamic, then they will prepare big big armies and come and attack us and we are going to lose our land. So Allah says, Have We not established for them a secure sanctuary of Makkah, to which have broad fruits of all kinds of provision from ourselves, but most of them No, not from that particular time. The fruits of all kinds were found in Mecca. People from all over came to Mecca. Allah says, How can they use such a cheap excuse for not obeying the

instructions of Allah and for not following the guidance? They are saying if we follow the guidance, we are going to lose something up to today, people who don't want to accept Islam, they say when we accept Islam, we will be disowned, we are going to have difficulty we will not be able to travel so I cannot grow my beard, nor can I cover my hair. Because when I arrive in the United States of America, I need to be dressed in a pants that they can see my leg so that I can enter without a question, right? So that's exactly what people do. So when they enter the US, they will

Want to pretend like they are non Muslim so that they can pass through quickly? Here is the verse. Allah says, Are You foolish? Don't you see? We own the dunya Allah, Allah Allahu Akbar, we know what is good for you and what is not. Don't use a cheap excuse of saying our land is going to be snatched from us. Akbar, Allah subhanho wa Taala grantors goodness, may he make us from those who realize that a trip to Makkah is far better than a trip to anywhere else on the globe. Remember that a trip to Mecca is the most spiritual gift that you can ever give your children a trip to Mecca is the best thing you could ever do for yourself if you'd like to actually travel out and I deeply strongly encourage you will lie before a time comes when we will be within quotas and we won't even be able to go throughout the year that's coming very very soon. Remember, there are a lot of wealthy people and they are 2 billion Muslims on the globe and they cannot cater for more than a few million at a time

my mothers and sisters make sure that you make it your business Hawaii and Honolulu leave that aside inshallah we will go to Makkah and Medina by the will of Allah subhanho wa Taala we will not only achieve spirituality we will be able to nurture the spirituality within our own children family members and we will grow in the in the pleasure of Allah subhanho wa Taala is Allah subhanho wa Taala telling us that have we not established for them a secure Haram in Makkah haram sanctuary to which abroad fruits of all kinds of provision from ourselves we are the ones who made sure that maca has fruit, we are the ones who made sure that it is a place as it is, but most of them no not. which were thankless

for its means of livelihood.

They did not thank Allah subhanho wa Taala for what they were given. Instead, they engaged in disobedience of Allah and His messenger. By doing evil deeds or losses, how many of them have we destroyed, we have destroyed so many because of their crimes and allowances. And those are their dwellings which have not been inhabited after them except a little And verily, we have been the inheritors. Allah says, We will chase you out of the land in the most, you know, destructive way. If we feel that that is what you deserve. And after that, we will inherit it anyway. And others won't even want to live where you were before. How many earthquakes how many tornadoes? How many

hurricanes melas? If God those who are good. And may Allah subhanho wa Taala use it as a lesson for those who are evil.

How much natural disaster how much evil is going on today? And how much destruction not only today from a four time when the nations would destroy it. Ask yourself what happened? Allahu Akbar. It was Allah subhanho wa Taala. He says we destroyed them because of their ingratitude. How are they showing in gratitude? We missed out them with so many things. They use the gifts we gave them to disobey us.

Allah gave you beauty you are using the same beauty to disobey the one who gave it to you Allahu Akbar, a man gives you a gun to protect yourself and you use the gun to shoot the same men that is a very low example. While in law in masala Allah Allah has very high examples. But the point being made is the very person who's given you what you have the same things he gave you you using those items to earn yourself a place in hell? How? How did you book your ticket in hell? seat number 45 k Where did you get it from? La Akbar we got it because we expose the beautiful legs we had been given by the almighty May Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us or we exposed whatever else we had, you know,

a cleavage being shown to the degree of shamelessness. And yet those are the best set that you could ever have had. Why did you use what Allah gave you in order to book your seat in hell? rather than use that to book your seat in heaven? By being thankful to Allah, we've nailed it on the button. May Allah protect us.

My mothers and sisters if a word of this nature does not motivate me, and you

Nothing will motivate you. These are words of the Quran. If Allah His words cannot change you and your life, what do you want?

What are you waiting for? Before we can actually start fulfilling our Salah dressing appropriately come what may love my mother's and sisters on Thursday, I was speaking at the school and I made mention of a very important factor which I need to repeat here. My mother's and sisters do you know that on the day of the AMA when we meet Allah subhanho wa Taala each one of us will be presenting whatever we have prepared as a presentation to a lot of the highlights of your life will be presented forward. Rather than having adultery as your highlight, rather than having music and Beyonce and whoever else has your highlight. Rather than having your the way you flick your hair in

public as a highlight. Rather than having whatever dirty heart you had as a highlight. We'd rather have solutions of a problem as a highlight. We rather have a piece of cloth that we use to cover our hair or head or beauty as a highlight. We present it and say Allah against all odds. This is the piece of cloth that I used in order to obey your instruction although as a result materialistically I lost my friends people frowned at me they swore me They laughed at me. Life was made difficult I lost whatever business and so on but for as long as it was in your pleasure, here it is. What do you think will be the response of Allah on that day? Yeah.

Well,

God dammit Nevada, oh you who believe be fearful of Allah subhanho wa Taala and each one of you should look in very carefully should look into what you have prepared for presentation tomorrow. What are you going to present?

inshallah Allah if we have abandoned sin, thrown out whatever music we've had in this instead of trying to justify it, as dirty as it is, and stopped our backbiting and slander and rumors, spreading and making life difficult for others. If we've stopped all that we can bring the fact that we've abandoned sin for the pleasure of Allah, Allah He there is much one day inshallah we will give a specialized talk on this particular matter. And while there is a lot you can present on that particular day, to be considered a VIP on the day of the AMA, you know, there are seven categories of people whom Allah will grant a special shade on that particular day. And one of them is those who

have left sin for the pleasure of Allah Subhana Allah to Allah when they were invited to commit a sin and they said, No, we fear Allah, those whom when they remembered Allah, they cried, you know, they, they develop goosebumps and tears roll down their cheeks when they heard the verses of Allah being recited to them, that is enough for you to reserve your VIP seat on the day of piano May Allah subhanho wa Taala granted to us so my mothers and sisters

So Allah is declaring in verse number 59, of Surah 28, that we will only destroy those who deserve destruction after they have been warned. If we have not warned people yet we don't destroy them. And

if they have been warned, and they have taken heed, we still don't destroy them. So remember, my mothers and sisters destruction comes from Allah when it is deserved. May Allah protect us really. And this is something that we need to wake up to, because we see a lot of destruction on the globe. Sometimes Yes, there are people who might be good who are caught up in the midst Allah says for them, we will grant martyrdom and for them perhaps Allah has chosen a certain level. But we need to question ourselves, I firmly believe when something negative happens in your lives, ask yourself first question, how is my link with the owner of the solution to this matter?

You hear that

something negative happens in your life which is drastic, we surrender obviously to the decree of Allah. But something negative happens, the first question that must come to your mind, what is my link with the owner of the solution of all this year? That is Allah, if my link is poor, this is Allah reminding me very gently to say my beloved worshiper, you still haven't read your photo. You still haven't got up for Salah you still haven't dressed appropriate. I'm just giving you a little gentle reminder. You still haven't left your evil ways and habits, your dirty heart filthy how you harm people and you those whom you live with your own parents and your own you know, in laws and so

on how you treat them and how even if they are wrong, you there is a way and the method of how to tackle them. My dear worshiper, I am just giving you a chance.

gentle reminder to resolve the matters because I'm telling you, I am in charge not you. That's Allah. Allahu Akbar. My mothers and sisters. Look at this verse, Allah subhanho wa Taala says thereafter

and whatever you have been given,

is an enjoyment of this life of this world and its atonement. But remember the hereafter which is with Allah is better and will remain forever. Have you then know since Allahu Akbar, my mothers and sisters This reminds me of the perfumes I have the vehicles I have the house I have the facilities I have the children and family members, I have everything I have. It reminds me a lie saying whatever you have been given in this life is actually an enjoyment of this world and it's adornment, but the hereafter which is what Allah is better and will remain forever, have you then no sense Do you still not want to turn? Do you still not want to prepay Allahu Akbar May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us

The next verse, Allah subhanho wa Taala is asking a question

Is he whom we have promised an excellent promise of Paradise, which he will find true, similar to him, whom we have made to enjoy the luxuries of this world? Then on the Day of Resurrection, he will be from amongst those brought up to be punished into the Hellfire? Are those two equal? Did you hear the question? powerful. One is a person who struggled and strove to develop the link with Allah during this time in the world, because they were promised paradise and they worked very hard towards it, even though they may not have enjoyed the luxuries of this world. Weather they may or may not have, but they were within the

instruction of Allah subhanho wa Taala because they were promised paradise and they were working towards it, and they got it finally. So is that person similar to the one who lived in the world now this is describing what we do sometimes. live in this world, enjoy the luxuries of the life forget that there is a resurrection coming. Forget that Allah has said anything, forget that Heaven and Hell is coming. And then on the Day of Resurrection suddenly, when we are caught amongst those who are brought up to be punished in Hellfire, then suddenly everything goes upside down. So are the two equal? Allah says, Do you still not have any sense? Wait Is your brain gone? Allahu Akbar. Look at

how powerful these verses are. Some of the most solid provoking verses in the Quran, Allah Subhana Allah which will motivate a person and change their lives, if only but we understood the verses of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So Allah says Yama, una de him on that day, when we will call them those who have transgressed and they enjoyed the luxuries and they

they worshipped others besides Allah, they worship their wealth and other things and sticks and stones and, and stains and graves and everything else and trees and what have you. Allah says, On that day, we will call them and say, Where are my so called partners whom you used to asset? Where are they? Where are they?

Allah says, we will call them out we say we are those partners, you used to worship others besides the almighty deities that you created, fabricated, this man is a saint, so I will go to Paradise only if I put my head down on the ground to Him and for Him, our head goes down on the ground for Allah alone, do our is made to Allah alone, the saint himself, we pray for him. And for his mercy, he might have been a very, very highly elevated man. But at the same time, during his lifetime, he may have prayed for our goodness and helped us in many ways. Once he has passed away we pray that the Almighty grants him paradise as well. La cabana, we should not lose track of this. And this is

why Allah subhanho wa Taala says on that day, we're going to ask him, you asserted partners with us, we are those partners bring them let's see, where are they?

Those about whom the word the word will have come true. Meaning those who are ready to be punished, they will say, oh, our Lord.

These are they who we led astray.

We let them astray and we will astray ourselves, we declare our innocence from them before you it was not us that they worshipped. Now there is obviously confusion because those who are worshipped. If they invited the ones who worship them to worship them, then this is will this will be their response that we were misguided. They are also misguided. But if they did not invite the ones who were shipped them to worship them

Then in that particular case, they have nothing wrong. For example, Jesus May peace be upon him, people worship Him. He never ever invited them to worship him. So he is innocent, he will profess his innocence and he will be free from the people. But there are others who instruct people worship me. I will take you to Allah, I own part of Paradise before Allah gives you sustenance, he asked me, you know, some people believe that all the sustenance that you get, you actually get it because of your chef. And you actually get it because he is the one whom Allah asks first that this man deserve it. If he says yes, then it's given, what nonsense, what type of schilke what type of association of

wish of partnership with Allah. Allah says those people who actually taught people that you must come through us They are the ones who will say we will astray and so were these people astray. But today we have no connection deal with us separately. Now law safeguard as you see how Allah is telling us the biggest crime you could commit is to associate partners with Allah subhanho wa Taala.

So then Allah subhanho wa Taala says, The Shaka icon

and it will be said to them call upon your so called partners, and they will call upon them, but they will give no answer to them. And they will see the torment. They will then wish, if only they had been guided.

And remember the day Allah will call to them and say, What answer Did you give the messengers, Allahu Akbar, when the messengers came to you and gave you the messages? And we sent them to you? How did you how did you respond to those messages? This includes what we are saying today. These are the messages of the messenger sallallahu alayhi wasallam. We will be asked how did you respond to the messages that came to you the verses that were recited to you, how did you respond to them? That's the question. I told you, we need to present things to Allah subhanho wa Taala What am I going to present? What are you going to present? May we present a slate full of repentance? My

brothers and sisters that is the hope I have that is the hope you have Allah He just fill your slate with much repentance Yeah, Allah forgive me. Yeah, Allah forgive our shortcomings. Yeah, Allah. Forgive our weaknesses. Yeah, Allah We are weak. We are men. We have faltered, we have fallen we have sinned. We have done this we have done that your mercy Allah forgive us. We admit our error. We do not want to do it again. We will not do it again. Yeah, Allah help us and guide us and keep us on the straight path. Allah if your slate is full of lots of repentance, you have good news to about him and if it is delivered on kathira give good news to the one upon whose slate there is a lot of

repentance found. May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us goodness, I just like to mention the last verse here, Allah says, then the news of a good answer will be obscure to them on that day, and they will not be able to ask one another. Allah says, but as for him who repented from polytheism and since this is what we spoke about moments ago, folio slate with much dependence as for him who repented from polytheism and since believed in the oneness and His Messenger, Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and did righteous deeds in the life of this world, then he will be from amongst those who are successful. May Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us success in the dunya as well as in

the my mothers and sisters, this was a serious lesson. And this was something that really really should motivate us. It should turn us It should change us. This is the end of the Gregorian year, and it is the beginning of the Islamic year. My mothers and sisters, it is about time we changed for the pleasure of Allah forever and ever. And it is about time that we mended our lives.
