If there is one,

practically speaking, people don't

watch how they behave.

They have character flaws, and they have

traits, or traces of hypocrisy

in the way they talk, and the way they act and the way they carry themselves, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam identified these signs.

So it becomes the struggle of the believer to watch himself and monitor himself or herself, and make sure that they don't have they don't show any signs of hypocrisy. And if they do, then they attend to it, they tackle it, they deal with it,

they try to see what are the root causes of this? Where is this coming from? Is this characteristic, a characteristic or of hypocrisy? If it is, then how can I rid myself of it? How can I protect myself from it?

Because some of them are deeply rooted.

And again, none of us is, is perfect. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the Quran, identify some of the Actually, these signs of hypocrisy, and I won't be able to cover all of them, you know, some Allah, you know, say that there are 40 signs, I'm gonna say that they're 30 signs, you know.

They make a promise.

And it's not that they fail due to you know, some various circumstances or just because they just have a weakness and they No no, no, they make the promise knowing that they will break it.

They buy time they buy opportunities they they whatever it is.

They try to evade blame or

so they break their promise.

Another sign of hypocrites

is that they are lazy when it comes to worship.

This is a clear sign of hypocrisy. That means hypocrisy has really developed. And it's in a in a very advanced stage.

This is a very dangerous state to be in.

Another sign that I'm going to conclude with this,

of hypocrisy, and this used to be during the time of the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam. This was a very, very clear sign of serious level of hypocrisy theory, levels of hypocrisy is that they

find themselves to be embarrassed, or they don't want they don't want they distance themselves from the believers, from the community.

And they find themselves to be very enthused and very excited to join others.

They're very excited. They want to be accepted by others. They don't care about acceptance, by the Muslim community by the believers, they don't care. They don't value that, but to be accepted and praised and welcomed by others.

This makes their day

and you find them to be, you know, hastening to align themselves with them.

Take them as their allies.

And they find that they see that as an accomplishment. Be careful brothers and sisters. This is one of the diseases of our times.
