Reminder about making the best with the rest of Ramadan
JazakAllah Clara, first of all, Salam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh everybody.
Rahim hamdulillah alameen wa salatu salam ala l mursaleen. Muhammad Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the Sleeman, kathira, Sierra Nevada abundances sisters,
I want you to imagine that you were playing a match. Supposing we were playing a soccer match or a basketball match or a football match. We are now in the second half with less than half of the time for the match to end.
And what would you do in that situation? You would quickly assess your situation. And you would say, How did the first half go? were we able to score the goals that we needed? What is the shortfall, and then you will chalk out a strategy very quickly for the rest of the game.
Because you know that once the closing whistle goes off, it's all over, you would have won or lost the game. That is where we are in Ramadan, as we speak, we are over the halfway mark. We have only a few days left. And we know how quickly that goes.
So there is no time to relax. And there's definitely no time to waste. We must get our strategy in place and hit the ground running if we are to win this game where the results are forever, because the results of this game are in the accurate because like the game, once it's over, it's over.
The important thing to understand here is that
ask about ask yourself about those people who were with us in last Ramadan.
But they're not with us this summer.
Did they know that last Ramadan was going to be their last rather?
Obviously they didn't know that. So ask yourself this question and say if they had known that, that this is going to be my last order?
Would they have spent it differently from whatever they did?
The reason I'm asking this question is that I am asking myself this question. And I request you to ask yourself this question.
And that is what if this is my last Ramadan?
And if this is my last other, am I happy with how I spent it till now?
Or am I willing to change what comes forward until the last year from now? We're gonna change some of that. Because if this is my last honor,
then how do I want that to be?
Because the thing is, that we will not know that until it is over.
Now the only way
to benefit is to treat every Ramadan as if it is our last.
I remind myself when you what is Ramadan and why did it come? Allah subhanaw taala told us about that where he said I was willing to shut down the regime. Yeah, you will levina Amano quotevalet Kumasi, amo Kamakura de la la la comida taco unless granted I said which means or you will believe fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you that you may become a motorhome. Now let us ask ourselves did we become motorhome? Did I become a motor key? Did you become moto? Are we more conscious of Allah subhanho wa Taala Now are we more mindful of his pleasure of making his pleasure the single criterion for all our decision making are doing that if
it is happening, all power to you or hamdulillah If it is not, then remember that Ramadan came to make this change in us. And that rather than is going to be over very soon. Then what
I remind myself about the very first reminder, this Ramadan where I asked you, you enter Ramadan, or is Ramadan entering you? And that's the question I asked myself. Did I enter Ramadan? Or did grandma enter me because if I entered rather then in a few days, less than two weeks, I will exit
and then we will continue our lives as if nothing happened.
But if rather entered us, the dead change will not affect us. Ramadan will remain in us the spirit of Ramadan, the spirit of obedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala will remain within us and our lives will be completely different.
That is the choice in our hands.
So how we talk, how we think how we work, how we act, how we decide how we eat, how we drink, how we earn our friends, I will spend our time how we treat people, how we react to others and to incidents, everything will change.
And these markers will tell us what we gained from Ramadan
what will what are the results that you are going to be able to see inshallah, that you will see that we will become more calm, and more tranquil,
more courageous, more strong, more focused, more productive, more responsible, more active, more generous, more kind, more compassionate, more powerful and beloved and influential than we have ever been.
Why will all that happen? because of something called a duck law. And that is why Allah subhanaw taala gave us
a taqwa is what happens when the slave becomes conscious of the presence of the of his Robin his life. When he becomes conscious that is Rob is watching him, not just watching him with detached transitory interest before looking at something else, but with intense concentration, which misses nothing of our intentions or actions, with the power and intention to help us to succeed.
I love wants us to succeed. Allah does not want us to go into Jannah
the slave becomes conscious of never disobeying Allah subhanaw taala and he gives us confidence from knowing that the owner of everything Hola, yo, yo
rapala shil Karim Malik al mulk Jelani when Ikram wala coalition Kadir is in his corner.
Ramadan Kareem came to help us to become otaku. But did we become otaku?
For those who did? Allah subhanaw taala promised His help Allah say Baba tequila, Allahu Maharaja. zuku min Hazel I gotta see. Well, Maria de Vaca lalala
Allah data set and whoever has taqwa.
Allah will make a way out for him from every difficulty and he will provide him from sources that he could never imagine. And whoever puts his trust in Allah, that Allah will become sufficient for him. Her brother and sisters, today as we are isolated in the COVID lockdowns and worried about our health and the health of our loved ones, and worried about the economy and about our jobs in the future. Allah subhanaw taala gave us the solution. And that is to develop taqwa. And then ask Allah subhanaw taala. And to make that easy for us, Allah subhanaw taala centers Ramadan al Karim to help us to become otaku so that we may be relieved from our difficulties. You may say, Well, all that is
good, but it can't be done overnight. I need a solution now. So I say to you what Rasulullah Sallam said to us, which is he said in Nevada, Mr. Lubin, yet, the reward of the deed is based on its intention. So make a sincere intention to change. Take the first steps and then ask Allah subhanaw taala for his help make your action though sila for your daughter inshallah. And I believe in sha Allah was that Allah Subhana. Allah will accept our door and Allah will relieve us from our difficulty. Brothers and sisters today, we are used to looking only for material solutions. So if I told you that a vaccine is on the way you will believe me, but what is so difficult to believe when
I say to you, Allah will help you inshallah, maybe that is with a vaccine. Maybe it is in some way that we don't know yet. Let us learn to differentiate between the ASVAB and the Mousavi, badass bap, between the means and the creator of the means. Allah subhanaw taala is not constrained or limited by anything. He is the Creator of all things, things and all conditions hollyhock only a Shia Allah, if we learn to connect with him, he will help us as he promised in ways we cannot imagine. Try and see.
Try it and see. Now how can we I want to end with this. How can we tell if we are on the path to becoming lotto as Michael Hardy, the author of Six Sigma quality standard says if you want to see what someone values, see what they measure, think about this. We like to say Time is money. But ask yourself, which do you count hours or dollars? Would you feel the loss of hours or dollars? So which do you really measure hours or dollars? Now what would happen if that changed? If we measure time, instead of dollars, what would happen? Our time will be much better spent and our daughter dollars
will also be much better spent. So, let us measure ourselves of these factors, what are the factors? What do I talk?
How do I act? How do I decide? What do I eat? What do I drink? How do I earn, who my friends are, how we spend our time, how we treat people, how we react to others and to incidence? Is there a change in these? If there is a change? And hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen? If not, let us resolve to do what it takes to make our lives obedient to Allah subhanho wa Taala in all respects, and on the Sunnah of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, in all respects. I asked Allah subhanaw taala
to make the rest of this another, even better than the first part that we have already passed for you. ask Allah to accept all your desires with her raffia ask Allah subhanaw taala to then give you from His Majesty and grace until you are delighted with what you get, as well as valterra to fill your hearts with his lore and with Baraka and to fill your hearts with the hogben Mahabharata Muhammad Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, as well, as Ron said, We're pleased with you, and never to be displeased with Jazakallah Heron Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato.
