Parables of the Quran – Parable #22 – The Disbeliever’s Foundation

We move on after that to the next parable, which is in the next verse right after that.
As we said, we have two parables here.
The first is
the parable of the believer
and the foundation of the believer and that is what we have just discussed. Now we move on to the parable that a lot presents concerning the cafe and the foundation
of the cafe.
Allah subhana wa tada says, in the next two verses
in Surah, Ibrahim, verses 26 and 27.

The example of the bad word is like a bad tree

So, what is a good deed? A good deed.
The only good deed that is accepted by a lot is that which is based upon a loss and a man.
A person must have done it sincerely for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala

and it must have been done, according to how Allah has legislated it a lot more His Messenger, how they have legislated for this good deed to be done.
And so since the kuffaar
whatever good deeds they may do, since it was not sincerely for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala
it is not going to be accepted from them, even at best, what are the alumni he says?

nor are they raised up to Allah subhana wa Tada. So he has no firm base on Earth, nor any branch in the sky.

So now here we have a tree, that is the opposite
of the tree that we mentioned in the previous parable.
In the previous parable, we have three descriptions of the tree
it is firmly fixed in the ground.
It has branches in the sky
and it is always producing fruit. So now let us look at this evil tree.
It is not firmly fixed in the ground.
So this means the cafe. He does not have a man in his heart. There is no emotion in his art.
He has no branches in the sky, this tree has no branches, stretching into the sky, because it is uprooted from the ground. It is lying on the ground. It has no branches in the sky. The cafard has no good deeds going up to the heavens, as opposed to the believer.
Meaning even if he does good deeds, they are unaccepted they are not going up to Allah subhanho wa Taala
and the third, this tree is not producing any fruits, because it is uprooted from the ground it is dead. So how do you expect it to produce any any fruit? Likewise, the cafe
he is not producing any fruits meaning he is not producing any good deeds. Even if he does good deeds, they are no and void. They are worthless, they are not being accepted.
And so this is the parable that Allah gives us concerning the calf. the complete opposite of the Mothman

we have several lessons that we learned the first is
that this description Allah subhanahu attallah gives us concerning the kuffaar
that Allah compares them
to something evil
and the law refers to them as being evil and filthy. This is
a description that is right on point.
And so and humped in the Arabic language refers to something filthy,
something evil something filthy.
And here Allah says,

says that the filthy word

The evil word the filthy word is just like the filthy or the evil treat.
And this is not the only place in the Quran where Allah subhanho wa Taala refers to the kuffaar
with such a description, and so Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions

then Allah says the female of the pure or are for the, the, the meals of the pure.

And we shouldn't think here that
if we look at many of them today,
they keep themselves clean. So how can
how can we refer to them as being dirty or filthy?
And it's true outwardly
are more clean, they keep themselves more clean than many Muslims.
We say to answer this question that
although they may be clean their cleanliness is only outward.
It is only outward
and not inward.
And so cleanliness, clean cleanliness and being pure and clean. It is of two kinds
an inner cleanliness and also an outward
and the believer is required
to keep himself pure and clean both inwardly and outwardly.
And that's why
Allah subhanho wa Taala refers to
the machinery Khoon
as being filthy nudges Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Yeah, you already know and in the middle shikun is

inward filth, meaning their hearts.
Their hearts are not pure, because their hearts are attached to false gods, and they worship false gods. So their hearts are not pure, but rather filthy.
coming back to the point of how Allah describes
Zina as being something filthy, if we look at the story of loot alayhis salaam, what do we find there?
When loot Ali Salam would call his people to worship a lot, and not to involve themselves in this hideous crime of homosexuality.

Allah subhanho wa Taala says, and the only answer they could give to loot is lamb, meaning
they didn't have any answer to give to him. Because they knew that they were wrong in what they were doing. So they said,

They didn't have any answer except to say, expel these people from your, from your town. These were the people of Saddam, the town of Saddam.

this is the first lesson that we learned. The second lesson that we learned from this parable is that
shirk and kufr
can never remain stable
and can never rise and overpower a man until heat.
Shift and Kufa
is not something that remains stable. And that's why a lot refers to
the cafe in this parable
to this tree that is uprooted from the ground.
It has no stability. Likewise, Kufa
is something that
never remains stable, and it will never remain forever.
And it can never rise and overpower, amen.
But then suddenly be asking, how about in today's day and age?
Don't the kuffar and the enemies of Islam? Don't they have the upper hand over the people of a man?
To answer that question we say
outwardly, today. That is the case but
we say that the game is not over yet.
The game is not over.
The game will be over
on the last day.
And so we have from now until Yokoyama
and the tables, they will eventually turn.
And there will eventually come a time when the kuffaar
will be defeated.
This is the promise of Allah subhanho wa Taala.
And so just because today they have the upper the upper hand, just because today they are leading.
It doesn't mean that fear lead is permanent,

these are the days
these are the days, some days, certain people are victorious, but other days, they are not victorious. Allah subhana wa tada we don't have enough, Allah rotates it. Sometimes he gives victory to certain people.
But other times he gives it to other people. There is no nation on the face of this earth that has lasted until yom Okayama
therefore eventually comes.
Finally, the last lesson that we learn here is that the kafir has no steadfast base. But rather he always changes as the people and the situation around him changes. And so he doesn't have any set principles that he abides by. But he is only led by his whims and his desires. This is the reality of the Kovach,
they don't have any set base, the majority of them, they don't have any set of principles that they abide by. Today they are upon one thing, tomorrow they are upon something else.
And that is because of the confusion that they are living in those darknesses that Allah describes the cafe that he lives in, he is confused in this dunya in darkness, not knowing where to go, not knowing where the truth lies, and likewise, any Muslim who follows in their footsteps.
And so today we have many Muslims, unfortunately, who
are no different, where they don't have set principles that they abide by.
And so they change as the people and the situation around them changes.
But if a man was strong in their hearts, then they would remain firm and not change if the people changed or if the situation around them changed. Without we come to the end of this session.
