Last week, we started our discussion on the battle of word.
And so we looked at the causes
that led to this battle.
And then the preparations of Quraysh
and how they came out with an army of 3000.
And so they reached the outskirts of Medina.
how Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam got the Companions together to decide on a strategy.
Are we going to stay in Medina? Or are we going to meet the enemy outside and so they decided to leave the city. And, and so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made those preparations
they reached or heard, and we mentioned also how,
as they were going out
the hypocrites they withdrew. And so
they represented a third of the army. And so now the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and his men are only 700.
And so they're going to face off against an army of 3000. And so rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam now reaches now.
And he divides the army
into three battalions.
The mahadji rune
and he gives
the flag to Musab Eben remain
and allows and he gives that flag to Hussein bin Laden.
And Al has Raj and he gives that flag to a little dab immediately Monday.
Now, when Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam reaches now.
He was trying to figure out what is the best plan.
he said we're gonna face Medina and have our backs to the mount.
And then when he took a look at the battlefield, he realized that there was a weak point
and a potential attack from the rear.
So there was a small hill.
And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said,
we have to place 50 men here on this hill.
And he put in charge of them.
Um, the law had been judged or the law one.
And he gave him clear instructions. He said, protect your backs. If you see us being killed, do not come to our aid.
And if you see us winning, do not come down to join us.
He also said if you see the vultures flying off with us,
do not leave until I send you a message.
And if you see that we are victorious over the enemy and trampling them under our feet. Do not leave until I send you a message.
the instructions of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam were very clear.
To stay put at your position no matter what.
It's all there are three benefits of this.
it was high ground.
And in any war, you want to have high ground to be able to see the entire battle to see the enemy and which moves they're making next, etc.
It was protection from the back, as we mentioned,
it was an open area a weak point.
And number three
these men who were placed here were given arrows. And so they were archers. They were shooters.
And so even if
the army sends their horses and a Calvary comes,
the shooters have an advantage over over those horses, and those horsemen, because they are at a higher position.
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gives them
this, these clear instructions.
And he was also teaching the Sahaba of the Allahu Anhu.
about the importance of obedience,
by telling them not to move until he sends a message.
And obedience to the Prophet SAW Selim is general.
It's something that the Sahaba were trained for.
And it was more emphasized here. However, in battle
it's important to always listen to authority and the commander and the general and whatever you are ordered to do.
So the obedience here is double fold.
Obedience to the Messenger of Allah because he is the messenger of Allah and obedience to the commander in war.
Now as Kurdish
to dis unite the Muslims.
And so Abu Sufian sends a message to the unsolved.
Leave us alone, to fight our cousin.
Because we have no purpose of fighting you.
The answer they said, Now, you say this
wasn't it Quraysh
who sent a letter to the Assad as soon as the Prophet said along and had even sort of migrated to Medina, threatening them, that if you don't give him up to us, we're gonna kill you, we're gonna enslave your women, we're gonna steal your wealth.
And now suddenly, they're saying
we have no objective in finding you guys. And so, it was a lie, it was a trick.
The purpose was to disunite themselves.
And then, when they failed in that attempt,
a second time
by sending a man
who used to be from Medina.
His name was Abu
he was known as a brahma or Rohit
he was from a house
he was extremely beloved to his people.
They named him as a raw head, which means the monk because of how good he was and righteous he was, but this was in the days of Jack Hillier before Islam. When Islam came to Medina

refused to become a Muslim.
Eventually, he left Medina and joined Koresh.
And so when he came up with the army of Quraysh, he said, let me go and convince my people not to come out and fight with my family.
And so he was very confident because they loved him so much he was respected among
the when he went to meet and house
he told them,
Listen to me don't fight.
They started cursing him.
And they called him abou unfasten
the evil one.
So when he heard this, he said, some evil has befallen my people after I left.
It wasn't evil, but it was
Islam that had changed. So
The second attempt also failed.
So the battle began with a duel
as was the case in the Battle of better
so this duel was between highly of interview call liberal the Allahu Allah, and

And he was the flagbearer of correction.

Now Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
he held up a sword in his hand, and he asked the Sahaba
who will take this from me?
everyone's started putting up their hand.
And they said, we want it. Everyone said, I want the sword.
So then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,
Who will take this sword
and fulfill it? It's right.
Meaning he wasn't ready to just give it away to anyone. But whoever volunteers he has to take the sword and fulfill the rights of the sword. So the Sahaba they asked the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and what are the rights of the sword?
So he said, for you to strike the enemy with it until it bends.
And so after hearing this,
the Sahaba were giving it a second time.
But one companion, he stepped forward.
And he said, Yeah, rasool Allah,
I will fulfill its rights. Give it to me.
Who was he?
He was able to Jana.
What are the Allah
will do Jana he takes the sword from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
and then he takes out a red headband.
And he puts it on.
Whenever a Buddha Jana would
get into battle mode, he would take out this red headband.
And he would put it on when his people saw him taking all that down. He said, They said to him a voodoo Jana has taken out their headband of death.
And then he took the sword
and he went in front of the enemy lines. And he started marching
with pride until you could feel the strength of his walk
one of the companions of Zubair Ibn Al Hawa and Rhodiola.
He also wanted the sword
and so he was envious.
He said to himself,
I asked the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam first.
And I'm the cousin of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam.
And he didn't give it to me and said he gave it to him.
So he said, I'm gonna follow him and see what he does with the sword.
and we'll do dynaway
And every man that he met he killed
in the lines of Quran, there was a man
whoever he would meet, he would kill
so if any Muslim came across him, the Muslim was dead.
So as to where he says this Mushrik and Abu do Jana work coming ever closer together, and I prayed to Allah to bring them together.
And then they met
and they exchanged a couple of blows. The mistake then struck a will do Jana who fended off the blow with his shield,
the man stored in Abuja, Anna he struck him and he killed her.
Now Khabib and Malik Ravi Huang He narrates a story.
he was talking about the battle, he says, and then I saw one Mushrik heavily armored,
striking the Muslims hard and saying, Come on, sheep gathered for slaughter. But then I saw another Muslim, fully armored waiting waiting for him.
And I went over behind him to compare the Muslim to the mu shake.
So CAD he was sizing them up to see, you know
who was stronger.
He said the mushrik was better. He was he had better equipment.
There are weapons.
And he was stronger in his built.
So I kept on waiting until they met.
The Muslim then struck the caffeine a blow with his sword on his shoulder. The Sword came right down through to his thigh.
So he hid the machine on the shoulder and the sword went through, tearing his torso until the Sword came out from under his thigh, cutting him into.
So caddy the medic, he says, then the Muslim, he uncovered his face. And he says, What about that cab?
I am I will do.
So I will Jana. Notice that cab was watching him.
The Muslims were winning, and the enemy
was fleeing the battlefield.
We could see
we could see the jewelry
of the women that they used to put on their feet. Last week, we mentioned
that this time around Quraysh, they brought their women with them.
To encourage them.
They said we could see the jewelry
that they had on their feet. This was because
the women weren't out tucking up there close to runway.
So that was it.
The enemy was showing their backs to the muscles.
in the family of Quraysh
different clans had different duties,
family would be in charge of feeding the pilgrims
and other family
had the key to the cabin. And other family was in charge of the network, which is like the Parliament of correction.
And then one family
was responsible for the banner of war.
They were the flag bearers in war. And this family was the new of the dark.
So they were responsible for it in the battle abeja.
And they were also responsible for it here in the Battle of Wickard.
Now the significance of this banner, this war flag is something that we perhaps may not understand because
you know, the way we fight wars now is different.
But in the past,
this flag was extremely important.
It was an indication that we're still in this battle.
And the war is not over.
If the banner falls down from one side, from one side of the two enemies, then that means that that side has lost the war.
And they will not fight anymore.
So it was basically
assigned to all the troops and the soldiers that were still in this.
So to show the significance of this manner,
let us talk about what happened. Abuse of yarn.
He went to this family then, after dark, he said you were in charge of the banner at the Battle of murder. And he saw what happened to us.
Men will only fight for their flags. If they lose, they will
either take care of our banner for us or give it to us and we will relieve you of this duty.
Then we have the data they refused.
they took the banner and the entered into the fray of the war.
And they fought.
the flag bearer was killed.
the flag was constantly being handed over to someone else until seven of their men
One would hold the matter.
He would be killed. The second would grab it, he will be killed until seven of them had been killed. And then one of their slaves and Abyssinia slave, he took hold of the banner,
and his arm was severed. And he was still trying to hug the banner saying, Have I done my part.
So finally, the banner and the flag fell on the ground. And that is when Quraysh they started to flee and run away.
And so initially,
they had been defeated, and the Muslims were victorious.
Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us about this victory, what are called the sadhaka qumola who either if the Sunnah home begins
at all Allah had certainly fulfilled his promise to you when you were killing them by his permission.
So Allah fulfilled his promise of victory for the believers.
And so even according to the Quran,
had initially one.
But then what happened?
The tide started to turn.
And so we mentioned
that the archers were strictly instructed by Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to remain on that hill.
Not to move
until and unless Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam sends a message.
in the heat of battle,
emotions take over,
the mind becomes obscured and
basically, your desires
When the archers saw that the Muslims had won.
And the Muslims on the ground, were starting to collect the war booty.
They wanted their share in it.
And they wanted to join them.
However, their leader, Abdullah bin Jabba the alarm, right.
When he saw this, he said, Don't you remember the instructions of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam that we should not come down until he tells us to do so.
So these companions, they said, but the battle is over.
And so they came down
out of the 50 Archers, 40 of them
left their positions
And so that left Abdullah bin Javid with only 10 men on this hill.
what happens next
is that Khalid Ibrahim Walid, who, on that day was in the army of courage. He had not yet embraced Islam.
He was the head of the cavalry of Quraysh the horsemen
and so he and AI Karina, in Abuja, Hill, the son of Abuja Hill, they detected the weak point
which had now become exposed. No one is guarding that weak point.
And so they immediately took advantage of it and came from around the back.
And so it was a surprise attack, which the Muslims were not expecting.
So now, the Muslims are being attacked from behind.
the army of Quraysh that was
withdrawing, running away, they saw what was happening. And so they came back.
And so now
they are attacking from the front and holiday bill and will Aegis the attacker from behind. And so the Muslim army was now sandwiched.
And so, this disoriented the Muslims, because now they're trying to fight from both directions. And so the ranks became disorganized.
And they weren't. They weren't lined up the way they were supposed to be.
And that is when
The Muslims started to be killed and suffered huge losses and huge casualties. It was so confusing
you couldn't tell who was a Muslim and who was the enemy
it's all this lead some of the Muslims to kill some of their own.
An example of this was a young man
when his son who data we know for a fact even illegal man,
his father was being attacked by the Muslims, because they thought he was from the army of courage. When he saw that he started shouting, yeah, but Allah was servants of Allah, my father.
And then when they killed him, he said, Have fun Allahu Allah, may Allah forgive you.
when the chaos started
the Muslim army became divided into three.
One group started to run away.
They started to fleet.
And Allah mentions this group. In the Latina tower Lohmann cool, young woman called Gemma and he investors are looking to shape on the the Habima caribou wala Kajang you in the law of a foreign highly, indeed those who fled on the day of
on the day when the two armies met, on the day of erode, meaning they fled when they saw this happening.
They were made to slip by shaitan because of some sins that they had.
But Allah has pardoned them. Surely Allah is the author giving the Most Forbearing. The second group,
those who stayed put on the battlefield,
thinking that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had died.
So they stopped fighting, but they didn't run away either.
And then, the third group, those who fought on
those will continue to fight.
even many of these did not know whether the Prophet Olson was still alive or not.
But they continue to fight.
One of the first to notice that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was still alive was Khabib ematic.
And so he started to yell
at the Muslims saying,
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is alive, you wanted to boost their morale, because many of them stopped fighting because they thought he had died.
But then when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam hurt him. He told him to remain quiet,
and said, We don't want the mystery continent.
amidst all this chaos,
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was now trying to organize a retreat.
But retreats can be catastrophic if they are not organized in a good way.
now has the upper hand and was attacking with full force.
They were now
moving in on rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Whoever will repel them,
he will be my companion in general.
And so this is how serious the situation had become. The life of the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was now in danger.
So he started calling help from the Companions,
as Quraysh were advancing in on him.
So one of the unsought he volunteered. He came, and he started protecting the prophets of Salaam, fighting, and throwing his arrows, but he was killed.
So then, another Ansari steps in
and he was also killed.
And then a third, a fourth, a fifth, until seven companions from the unsought
we're now dead at the feet of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
other than the sacrifices of these companions, it also shows us how dangerous the situation was and
At this particular point in the battle
among those who also came to defend the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was
told her bill obey the law.
And he is one of the

He protected the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam face from an arrow by taking
by taking the shot with his own hand.
As a result, his index and his Mingo middle fingers were cut.
He was also hit twice in the head, and it is said that he suffered a total of 39 or 75 wounds. However,
he managed to survive.
He managed to survive and he lived. Even after the Prophet saw the loggerhead he was
and this is why he became known as
the living shaking.
Right. He took so many hits that you would expect him to have died as a Shaheed, but he lived on.
In sahih, Al Bukhari Alia Bina will probably a long run he says,
I never heard the Messenger of Allah ever swear by both of his parents, to anyone besides sad in a be what costs are the alarm?
I heard him say Oh, sad, should my father and my mother be ransom for you? Fee DACA eligible.
And so this is how pleased also why he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was with the performance of Saudi Arabia and be world class.
Another hero who is standing next door Sudha he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was
Abu Taha Al Ansari
and he was known to be a sharp shooter.
He came in front of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and was shooting
at anyone who tried to advance
and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was behind him
as he shot the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would
raise himself to see where the arrows are going.
Abu Taha says,
as he brought up his chest
as he brought up his chest
I would say to him,
may my father and my mother be ransomed for you Oh, messenger of Allah do not rise up, so that arrow can hit you
and my chest will be in the way of yours.
And so these were the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam who were
willing to sacrifice their lives for him.
You know, it was not just that they entered into this battle for
for Allah, and for Islam, but specifically for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. As you can see all of these examples. Now even though
the situation was extremely difficult, imagine the fear
as these companions are seeing casualties to their left, right and center.
And they're retreating, they're not on the offense.
But they're still fighting on.
Imagine how tense the situation was for them.
And so as a reward for them,
Allah subhanahu wa taala replace their fear with drowsiness.
This also happened in the Battle of better as we mentioned, the night before the battle.
The Muslims slept extremely peacefully.
done that, so that he removes that fear from the heart.
And Allah did it also on the day the word Allah says, So Mandela highly commended 11 mi mn atan. New Allison your shutter effect and
then after distress, after this distressful situation, he certain down serenity or security in the form of drowsiness, overcoming some of you, so now everyone, just this group,
Abu Talha he says,
I was among those who would be overcome with drowsiness on the day of until my sword fell from my hand several times
it would fall and then I would pick it up.
So this was the reward.
That they would continue fighting and not be overcome by fear.
Rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam now retreated
to the mountain.
So he was retreating backwards until he reach he reaches
and he climbs it,
where he finds Kravitz in the mountain
where he and his companions could hide.
climbing up the mountain was difficult for him, he was injured. And so Todd had to carry him
when they climbed up the mountain,
that is when the battle finally stopped.
kurush did not dare pursue the Muslims into the mountain.
Because now the Muslims have a higher position.
And to fight on bacterin is something that they weren't really prepared to do.
who were with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in this crevice in the mountain.
They were there and Abu Sufian comes he approaches.
And he calls out to them.
He doesn't know who's there. He can't see anyone. But he knows this is where they went. And so he shouts. He asks, is Mohammed alive?
There was no answer.
Then he says,
is even better to have her alive.
Abubakar? Is he alive? No response.
Then he asks, Is the rumor alive?
And so I was Sofia, and he was happy.
And he said to his people, these men had been killed.
He said, if they were alive,
they would have responded.
So Mr. katabi, Allahu Allah. He couldn't stand it.
And so he said, You have lied.
Oh, I do Allah, Oh enemy of Allah.
Allah has caused the three that you have mentioned to survive, to humiliate you.
And so when Abu Sufian heard this,
he didn't know what else to say. So he started to say, or aloo Hubel.
Or Lou bell.
He said, May huben be Hi.
May huben be high hotel was one of their idols.
And so, when I saw the law, he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam heard that?
He said, Will you not respond?
He was speaking to the Muslims, will you not respond to him?
They said What should we respond with? And so he said,
Say Allah who I know will
say Allah is higher and more glorious.
Abu Sufyan, he said,
Lana, Allah azza wa jal, Arizona,
we have a reason and you have no reason. Again Reza is one of their idols.
Then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Will you not respond? They said, What should we say? He said, say to him, Allahu Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah.
Allah is our molar, he is our master,
helper, and you have no master you have no metal.
it was Sophia and he said,
a battle for the battle of better
and then he said a horrible siege.
Warfare goes in cycles, meaning one day you win one day we win.
And then he went on to say and you will find some bodies mutilated.
I did not order that.
But it did not really bother
In one narration, or model the long run he said,
the meaning the dead are not the same.
Our dead are in Jannah and your dead aren't in the hellfire.
Now Allah subhanahu wa Ana describes in the Quran,
the entire scene of the battles Buchert as we explained it.
And these ayat are in Seward area and Ron.
over 50, approximately 58 yards from Surah Ali Imran are all in reference to the Battle of hurt
so Allah subhanho wa Taala says, as we mentioned earlier, what are called sadhaka Comilla, who are the WHO IS THE Hosono in the internet, Allah had certainly fulfilled his promise to you when you were killing them by his permission. then your courage weakened. And you disputed about the command and you disobeyed after Allah had brought victory within your reach. Some of you were after worldly gain after the dunya while others wanted the Acura.
Allah denied you victory over them as a test. Yet he has pardoned you and Allah is gracious to the believers. Then Allah says about the retreat is to serie de la luna Allah wa rasuluh yet to recompute Cracow for the commandment, beloved middle decay that has no LMFAO Takodana Asada como la who hobby Ruby Mata maroon
remember when you fled
and climbed meaning the mountain not looking at anyone while the messenger was calling to you from behind. So Allah rewarded your disobedience with distress upon distress. Now do not grieve over the victory you were denied or the injury you suffered. And Allah is all aware of what you do.
So it was a huge test for the believers.
In the end,
only 12 men remained with christodoulides sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
He himself was hit by a rock
causing him to fall to his side and his front teeth broke bashing his face and splitting his lips and so Rasul Allah He said Allah who had he was and was badly injured in the Battle of orange.
In Sahil Bihari
it says that father model the Allahu anha was the one washing him washing his wounds, while Ali Radi Allahu Anhu was pouring the water.
When Fatima saw that the water was only increasing the blood
she the blood flow, she took a piece of cloth or a straw net set fire to it and attached it to the wound.
The purpose of this was to absorb the water from the wound and make it dry.
And so that would prevent the blood from flowing and it was also hot. So it would disinfect.
what was the reaction
this loss? And in America the long run?
He says, While rasool Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was wiping the blood off of his face.
How could any people prosper?
Who have struck their prophet and broke his front teeth while he was only calling them to Allah.
So he was saying How could my people meno Qureshi? How could they prosper after this? After all, this is what they have done to their messenger
and he was simply calling them to Allah.
So Allah revealed in response to the statement, Lee Salah Kameena Emery shape oh yeah to valet him Oh, you are the bouncer in non volley moon. You owe prophet has no say in the matter.
It is up to Allah to turn to them in either mercy or to punish them. For indeed they are Lolly moon they are wrong towards
it's not in your hands. The fate of these people
is not in your hands. It is up to Allah whether to forgive them or to punish them. Yes they are wrongdoers, but it is up to Allah
in terms of how he's going to deal with them. And so here the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was basically saying
that they're doomed, that's it.
Allah will punish them. So Allah is reminding him no.
That's up to me.
And so this shows us that even Rasul Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not control the fate of people.
It's in the hands of Allah.
If this wasn't even the right of Rasulullah, sallallahu alayhi wasallam then who are we to claim that right?
So this was the prophets reaction.
How about everyone else? Rumors started going around that Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was killed. As we mentioned.
The origin of this rumor was
a soldier of Quraysh
who had killed
who sadly ignore me
and Musab Radi Allahu Han,
resembled the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam quite a lot.
this man, he went back to the army, and he said that he had killed.
So in such a state,
things get blown out of proportion. And as a result, everyone was now thinking that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had been killed, the moose record as well as the Muslims.
So some of the Muslims when they heard this news,
they said, We better go back to Medina
and speak to Abdullah Abdullah, obey
and have him to get us a truth
from Abu Sofia.
Mohammed has been killed.
Let us go back home before they also kill us. And let's see if we can get we can make a peace agreement. Who should we go to for help for that? Abdullah bin obey. Remember, he's the one who withdrew in the beginning of the war before the war started.
The leader of the munafo
the muscles who said this,
they were suffering a psychological defeat,
the defeat they reached their hearts. And under the pressure of those moments, they thought that the best solution was to go to
this enemy of Allah, and Allah will obey this muda effect,
since he had good relations with Koresh, and he could call a truce with the enemy.
So this was the reaction of a group of the Muslims.
the Sahaba, who had strong Eman
their reaction was different.
One of them had your own, he said.
The pass by one of the unsought
a man who was covered in his own blood.
I asked him
Are you aware that Muhammad has been killed
the unsought he responded, if Muhammad has been killed, then he must have fulfilled his mission. So find on for your religion, let us die as he died fighting for Islam.
And so look at the contrast between
the reaction of those first Muslims and
and this group of Muslims. And so
some people cannot be defeated in their hearts, even if they have been defeated on the battlefield. And this is the steadfastness that we need to learn from this however, they were basically teaching the owner
that we can never be defeated.
We will stay on until we attain one of the true promises of Allah
by the victory on the battlefield, or shahada
martyrdom and there is no third option. There is no surrendering
to the end.
And so this is the story of the Battle of oil. Now there's a lot more to cover that we're going to be covering in the coming weeks
including the many, many lessons from the battle. There are so many. We're going to cover that in the coming weeks in sha Allah. But just before we conclude tonight, we'll just mention a few lessons from the events that we covered tonight.
The first lesson
is the strategy of the car
to divide and conquer.
So we mentioned that before the battle began with Sophia and sent a message to the on site
to spear them a fight, saying surrender the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
we don't want to fight you.
Our problem is with him.
But what he was really trying to do was to split the Muslims
divide them and then
eat them one by one.
That was the strategy.
And so if the kuffaar did that yesterday, then they are doing it today.
Today, the claim is we are just fighting the terrorists. We have no problem with the rest of the Muslims.
As they're saying today in in Palestine, our problem is with Hannah's not with anyone else.
And the media. What are they calling this word?
That is really Hamas word.
It's not the Israeli Hamas word. It is the Israeli Palestinian war, they're killing Palestinians. But they don't want to portray it that way.
They want it to make it seem as if our problem is only with this group of persons with this group among you, we have no problem with the rest of them.
That is what they say. But once the so called, terrorists are defeated, then they will move on to the next group, and the next group
and the next group.
Wherever they find Muslims interfering with their New World Order, and resisting to submit to it. They will come after that. And so this shows us the importance of staying united
and not allowing the enemy to divide us.
And so in times like this, even if we have whatever disputes we have with our fellow Muslims,
even if we don't see eye to eye on a lot of issues,
we have to rally behind.
And there are so many examples in history that show us this shift in Islam, even Taymiyah, who was a strong staunch opponent of the Usher era
and refuted them until he was even tortured by them he was torn in prison by them.
When the enemy forces of the Mongols came,
he went out and fought jihad against them side by side with the Ashanti's.
The second lesson is
that we're not supposed to act in a boastful way, except in front of the enemy.
When Abu Jana entered the battle, he went forward to walking in a manner that is generally
a sign of arrogance and pride.
Looking at this walk Chrisoula he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, that is the way of walking down Allah dislikes, except in circumstances like this.
And so in this particular situation, Allah likes it.
A Muslim is not supposed to be arrogant. That's why we walk with humbleness, right as Allah mentions in the Quran, what attempts to refill aerobic Marwaha
in a boastful,
But we don't want to confuse humbleness with weakness.
In a circumstance, like
a war and a battle. You don't want to be walking in a humble way, but rather, you want to show
you want to show the enemy your courage. And so when Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would walk?
Yes, he would walk in a humble way but you could see the strength in him early early along where it says when he walks his as it's as if he's coming downhill. You know, walking
We'd strict but that doesn't mean he walked in a boastful way.
The third lesson that we learn
is the sacrifices of the companions. For or suit Allah, hi Sal, Allahu Allah will send them and especially the Assad.
We see how they responded to the call of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when the tide had turned.
And when they were retreating, they rushed to protect the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, one after the other, until seven of them had been killed fending off the attacks on the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
And so this is why they got this honor of being called the Mossad.
They didn't get this title for nothing.
They earned it.
You have seven young men that are under the feet of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
And that's why
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said,
later on when, you know he saw this response by the unsalted, he said,
mountain softener was hard. And we have not done justice to our companions.
The last lesson that we'll mention for tonight,
the danger of psychological defeat,
to seeking help from the enemies of Islam.
when some Muslims thought that they had been defeated,
and that's it,
there is no more hope. Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is dead? What are we going to do now?
The psychological Defeat,
let them now to seek help from the enemy, from the hypocrites, who had already stabbed the Muslims in the back.
And so the Battle of Oshodi cannot repeat, but the actions and the reactions of the people in Orford, it can be repeated after that, and we have seen it repeat.
And so sometimes, you find that when we Muslims are under pressure.
In battle in a war, there might be some who think that our only hope is to go to the enemy,
to the enemies of Islam for help,
especially the munafo the hypocrites, who claimed that they are with us, but they have already shown their true colors in the battle itself.
And so this is a sign of weakness on the part of these Muslims.
Like, what is happening today, in Palestine,
those who have the psychological defeat, they think it's overwhelmed.
We might as well surrender.
Let's go to the UN, let's go to this country, that country.
And let's enter into peace agreements with Israel.
It's time to move on why because
we have been defeated.
And so the reality is that we have not been defeated, but rather these people, they have suffered a psychological defeat.
And so these are some of the lessons as I said, there are loads of lessons from the battle of ochre that we will be setting time aside for in sha Allah. But next week, we're going to move on to talk about
the Shahadat and the murders that fell in this battle.
Because they were many.
they did not fall without putting on a fight.
And so we're going to look at the courage of these Shahadat, we're going to look at so many different stories in the battle.
And we're going to talk about the significance of this. The significance of so many of the companions, having lost their lives in this battle. So how to Colombia we
