They teach everybody how to pray. They teach
everybody Quran. They teach everybody else through the
bars and through the cells,
they're fit. They teach them aqida.
They they say how are the Muslims in
your lands? How are they in your lands?
You know what they do? The the the
the the sheikh goes to sleep right after
Isha.
And the small amount of water that they
have, the student,
he he puts it inside of his shirt
and and embraces it because it's cold at
night,
so that it will be warm in time
for in time for sheikh to in time
for sheikh to use it.
And he wakes up and reads his tahajjud,
and then he, goes to sleep with the
water, and then the sheikh wakes up and
reads his tahajjud while the student is pretending
to be asleep.

Go back to go back to Madinah Munawara.
The army of the Sharif right? In Ta'id
of the British has taken over Makkamukarama,
Jada, most of Hijaz.
Madinah Munawara is such a Mubarak place.
Such a Mubarik place.
The dada of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam. Bargha of Sayedal Khonaim Sultan Al Anbiya
guarded in the south by the mountains, and
in the east and in the west by
the rocky, lava tracks,
and open only from one side.
That one side from which the Ottomans built
a railroad that went all the way from
Damascus until
Madinah Munawwara, and was intended to bring the
Hajjaj.
And that the Bughat, they blew it up
and destroyed it. Let me tell you something.
It's easy to destroy things. It's easy to
destroy people. It's very difficult to build things.
It's very more difficult
so quick to destroy and cut other people
down.
The Ottoman commander of the garrison, Fakhruddin Pasha,
Omar Fakhri Pasha,
He says, wallahi, I'll never surrender the city
of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam to
the partisans of the Kuffar ever.
So the heartless British, they have a siege
and embargo. They let no ship into any
of the ports of Hejaz,
and they cut off all of the other
trade routes into Hejaz from all
sides. Madinah Munawara,
they starve the people out. For for several
years, no goods can come in, no goods
can come out.
They tried to
attack and enter into the the the army
of the shariqites to attack and enter into
Madinah Munawara. They try to attack and enter
into Madinah Munawara,
and the Ottoman artillery,
it it doesn't let anything through alive.
Fakhni Pasha sees visions of the prophet
in his dreams and in the waking
state. He calls his people, all of his
generals, all of his people into the the
court of the prophet
into his Mubarak
masjid.
And says, Whoever wants to save their own
life.
Then,
The person who saves himself, no one can
blame blame them.
But the person who has gaira for Rasulullah
and for his Mubaraka,
that person that person let them know that
I will never let the partisans of the
kuffar
take this place.
He held the siege so long, the people
of Madinah Munawara, what did they do?
They became so hungry, they started eating leather,
they started eating the meat of dead
animals,
which becomes haram when you have nothing else
or halal when you have nothing else to
eat.
A point comes where people even have to
dig up corpses and eat them.
But they will never surrender the city of
the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
They will never surrender the city of the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. I'm telling you this.
Why? Because you're like wondering why is he
telling us it's a history ban or whatever?
This is about like, you know, endurance. I'm
telling you every single generation, like the Sahaba
were patient, maybe not like them
in the in the magnitude,
but like them in the sense they gave
everything they had.
That's the only way Islam reached us. It
didn't reach us by conferences and by putting
on t shirts and like resharing,
Facebook posts and retweeting things.
This type of sacrifice, every single generation
did it. This is the only reason why
we have Islam in this time, in this
place, nothing other than that.
He held the siege for so long,
the Ottoman Empire itself fell.
The caliphate was abolished.
The Republican Secularist Government took over Turkey.
He still says, wallahi, I'll never surrender the
city of the prophet
His own commanders after some time, they made
what mashra with one another, and they said
what? They said that, they said they said
that this he's gone insane. We can't. What

up to the to the army of the
Sharif.

how to do it, who's going to tell

Who's gonna tell you?

who's gonna tell you any of those things?
And so, masha'Allah, I was told I till

That is if you want to have patience,
like everything else, like your, you know, ability
to bench press,
or your ability to hold your breath, or
your ability to, you know,
run distances or swim distances or whatever. Something
you have to build up. It's a capacity
you have to build up inside of yourself.
Patience is a capacity you have to build
up inside of yourself and it happens by
doing simple things. It happens by what?
There's 2 things. 1 is the thing that
weakens you, you have to lessen it. 1
is the thing that makes you stronger, you
have to increase it.
What makes you stronger? The dhikr of Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala,
the worship of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, and
the company of the strong.
Is like any small amount of, like, literature
that I know I learned from him.
Just like everything a sick person touches,
it becomes sick.
Right? Just like that,
a person of the of Sayna of Sayna
Ibrahim alaihis salam. The Ummah Sayna Muhammad sallallahu
alaihi salam.
Even if he grabs kufr, that kufr went
the moment he touches it, it'll turn into
iman.
So you wanna increase yourself in strength? Go
sit with the strong ones.
The strong ones are not the ones who
made money.
Sometimes, those are the most flimsy and flakiest
of people. Something small goes wrong, the chai
is not hot enough, you see them flip
their lid. How are you gonna learn saber
from them? How are you gonna learn what's
wrong and right from them? How are you
gonna learn saber from them? This is one
thing. Beta type people,
beta type people, they're very impressed with confidence.
Alpha type people are impressed with competence.
Just because someone acts like they know what
they're talking about, has nothing to do with
whether they know what they're talking about or
not. Some people have an amazing amount of
confidence, like, oh wow, this guy must be
really something. You only know by testing them.
You will not become strong except for by
sitting with the people of strength.
You will not become strong except for by
practicing the things that they tell you.
You will not become strong except for by
sleeping on the masjid floor even though you
can't sleep because it's not comfortable. You will
not become strong except for by suffering through
the cold, even though you know you're going
to get sick. You will not become strong
except for by doing the thing that hurts
you.
When you're able to do so in controlled
doses,
so that the thing, when it comes to
you in an uncontrolled fashion, you have more
capacity to deal with it.
What's going to make you weak?
Surrounding yourself by the dunya and fulfilling your
desires every single time, it's going to make
you weak.
Fulfilling your desires every single time is going
to make you weak. There's a time that
the people of this ummah, they used to
deny themselves the permissible things in order to
be able to resist the impermissible.
There's a time in this ummah where people
used to deny themselves
impermissible things, and in order to make themselves
strong in order to resist the impermissible.
Now, what is it? Now we have to
make ourselves first strong against the impermissible things.
What will weaken you?
Filling your eyes with the haram.
Filling your ears with the haram.
Filling your stomach with the haram.
How?
Impermissible
jobs, lying, cheating with people when you deal
with them. Why is it that Mufti Abdullah
Nana and myself, Muamana Tami, Muamana Fasi, all
of us, Abu Ghani
is shouting you I tell you, your ear
is blue and his tongue is blue about
halal halal halal. Do you think we have
nothing better to do afterwards? Someone should get
the message by now that you should be
careful
what you eat but nobody cares. Right? Why?
Because it's a poison.
The halal consumption is like a medicine. If
you take too much of you take, you

gonna do?
What are you gonna do?
You're gonna talk stories about like fighting the
British, and then afterward, you're gonna go home
and like, you know, take a loan from
their bank, and you're gonna wear their clothes,
and you're gonna speak like they speak, and
you're gonna run the masjid on their system,
and you're gonna have
like Islamic, Islamic organization. And in the constitution
it says we're gonna run it according to
Robert's
rules and order of parliamentary
procedure,
and when you were commanded to run it
according to the sunnah, Sayidna Muhammad
What are we gonna do? Make that choice
inshallah. One talk is not enough for anything.
You're only gonna get what you get to
the sukhba of the people who have made
it. Allah
