a pious community spiritually has to be a

That deeds are created by Allah ta'ala. He's

and sustained by him in every second. We

cannot attribute our deeds to ourselves,

very superficial

a superficial,

seeming that that we're the ones who make

our deeds. Really, Alata'al is the one who

made us. He's the one who made our

deeds. He made our desire, etcetera, etcetera.

However,

the the deeds that a person does are

described as the creation of Allah Ta'ala, but

the earning of the creation.

So when we do a deed, we're the

one who earns it.

00:46:10 --> 00:46:11

And so there's something

00:46:11 --> 00:46:14

called your ruh, your spirit that's sitting inside

00:46:14 --> 00:46:14

your body.

00:46:15 --> 00:46:17

And it's like, oh, look,

00:46:17 --> 00:46:19

Halal, I like that. Haram, I don't like

00:46:19 --> 00:46:21

that. Iman, I like that. Kufr, I don't

00:46:21 --> 00:46:23

like that. You know? Zina, bad.

00:46:23 --> 00:46:26

Uh-uh. Salat, good. You know? And it makes

00:46:26 --> 00:46:28

these decisions when whenever it sees things, it

00:46:28 --> 00:46:29

makes all of these decisions.

And then a person, when they want something,

Allah will make an intuitive connection between the

strength of a desire that a person has

00:46:38 --> 00:46:40

for a thing, and whether or not that

person gets that thing or not.

00:46:42 --> 00:46:42

And

00:46:43 --> 00:46:45

so this is why even though everything is

00:46:45 --> 00:46:47

made by Allah and happens through Allah's power

00:46:47 --> 00:46:49

and force, there is

00:46:49 --> 00:46:51

still despite this being our our

00:46:52 --> 00:46:52

You know?

There's an intuition that everybody has that the

00:46:55 --> 00:46:57

people who end up in the hellfire

00:46:57 --> 00:46:59

deserve it, and the people who went to

00:46:59 --> 00:47:01

Jannah deserve it. Why? Because

00:47:01 --> 00:47:02

that

00:47:02 --> 00:47:04

spirit inside of the physical body

00:47:04 --> 00:47:07

that's running on the system Allah Ta'ala has

00:47:07 --> 00:47:09

made, That spirit is making all these decisions.

00:47:09 --> 00:47:12

And ultimately, it will say, I like certain

00:47:12 --> 00:47:13

set of things that will take them into

00:47:13 --> 00:47:15

Jannah, or ultimately, will be

00:47:15 --> 00:47:17

our protection. It will like certain side of

00:47:18 --> 00:47:19

a certain side of things that's gonna take

00:47:19 --> 00:47:20

them into the hellfire.

00:47:20 --> 00:47:22

And so the point is is what?

00:47:23 --> 00:47:25

The point is is that, it's a kasab

00:47:26 --> 00:47:28

of that person that Allah has written how

00:47:28 --> 00:47:30

much they're going to receive in all different

00:47:30 --> 00:47:31

types of provision.

00:47:32 --> 00:47:33

Now you have a choice and I have

00:47:33 --> 00:47:34

a choice. Do we want to receive that?

00:47:43 --> 00:47:45

Thing can be served in. It can be

00:47:45 --> 00:47:47

served in a filthy dish, or it can

00:47:47 --> 00:47:49

be served in the the pure dish. So

00:47:49 --> 00:47:52

this is your responsibility. It's my responsibility as

00:47:52 --> 00:47:54

believers that we should have this haman. We

00:47:54 --> 00:47:56

should have this worry that

00:47:57 --> 00:47:59

that provisional lies already, portion to us. That's

00:47:59 --> 00:48:01

not gonna increase or decrease one way or

00:48:01 --> 00:48:02

the other. But we should have a worry

00:48:02 --> 00:48:04

that it should come to us through the

00:48:04 --> 00:48:06

halal conduit, not through the haram one. Right?

Cheating, lying,

00:48:09 --> 00:48:10

being a jerk,

00:48:10 --> 00:48:11

harming people.

00:48:11 --> 00:48:14

This is not gonna increase your your provision

00:48:14 --> 00:48:16

in one way or the other. The companions

00:48:16 --> 00:48:18

are the law on whom those who live

00:48:18 --> 00:48:19

to see the, days of the Futuhat,

00:48:20 --> 00:48:23

they were wealthy beyond imagination. You know, the

00:48:23 --> 00:48:25

Ottomans were wealthy beyond imagination.

00:48:26 --> 00:48:29

The Banu Abbas were wealthy beyond imagination. Banu

00:48:29 --> 00:48:31

Umayyah, both in Damascus and in,

00:48:33 --> 00:48:35

in Andalus, they were wealthy beyond imagination.

00:48:36 --> 00:48:38

Even the ones that that we detest,

00:48:38 --> 00:48:40

there were streams of their income that were

00:48:40 --> 00:48:42

haram, and there were streams of their income

00:48:42 --> 00:48:44

that were halal. Even just the halal stream

00:48:44 --> 00:48:46

of income was beyond our imagination. Right now,

00:48:46 --> 00:48:48

we get happy, like, oh, look. So and

00:48:48 --> 00:48:49

so is a doctor. Oh,

00:48:49 --> 00:48:50

they make $400,000

00:48:51 --> 00:48:52

a year. That's not that's like upper middle

00:48:52 --> 00:48:54

class. That's not even gonna be upper middle

00:48:54 --> 00:48:56

class any anymore relatively

soon. It's not a lot of money. It

really isn't. That's the sad part is if

we sold out for the Dunia, at least

you should look for sovereign wealth. You should

look for 1,000,000,000 of dollars or whatever. But

we don't even that's not worth

I mean, at least it's something, you know.

Whereas, we sell out for so little. The

If you know, there are people who did

it the right way and Allah gave them

00:49:21 --> 00:49:23

obscene amounts of wealth.

00:49:24 --> 00:49:25

And there are people who did it the

00:49:25 --> 00:49:27

wrong way, and Allah gave them obscene amounts

00:49:27 --> 00:49:28

of wealth. And there are people who did

00:49:28 --> 00:49:30

it the right way, and Allah kept them

00:49:30 --> 00:49:31

in in poverty.

00:49:31 --> 00:49:33

And there are people who did it the

00:49:33 --> 00:49:34

wrong way, and Allah kept them in poverty.

00:49:35 --> 00:49:36

And whether you're wealthier

00:49:36 --> 00:49:38

or poor, this is protestantism

00:49:38 --> 00:49:41

that says that good people are, wealthy and

00:49:41 --> 00:49:43

bad people upon it punishes them with poverty.

00:49:43 --> 00:49:46

We're not protestants. If you believe that, then

00:49:46 --> 00:49:48

you have a aqidah problem. We're Muslims.

00:49:49 --> 00:49:50

What do we believe? We believe like the

00:49:50 --> 00:49:52

messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said

that there are certain people. Allah looks at

00:49:54 --> 00:49:57

his his creation and there are certain people

00:49:57 --> 00:49:59

that nothing will will rectify their state except

00:49:59 --> 00:50:01

for wealth. Allah gives them wealth because of

00:50:01 --> 00:50:03

his love of them so that they can

00:50:03 --> 00:50:04

it can protect them in their akhirah because

00:50:04 --> 00:50:06

of their what? Their iman.

00:50:06 --> 00:50:08

And there are certain people, nothing will rectify

00:50:08 --> 00:50:10

them except for poverty. And because that, all

00:50:10 --> 00:50:11

that will hold the wealth back. Why? Because

00:50:11 --> 00:50:13

if they had money, they would destroy destroy

00:50:13 --> 00:50:16

themselves. Mobi Hamza had money. Oh, you would

00:50:16 --> 00:50:18

see the types of debauchery that he would

00:50:18 --> 00:50:18

be up to.

00:50:19 --> 00:50:21

Who knows? Maybe if my spiritual condition is

00:50:21 --> 00:50:24

rectified one day, the rub will allow me

00:50:24 --> 00:50:25

to use large amounts of wealth, you know,

00:50:25 --> 00:50:27

in the service of his deen. Allah knows

00:50:27 --> 00:50:29

you don't know. He knows you better than

00:50:29 --> 00:50:29

you know yourself.

00:50:30 --> 00:50:32

The point is is that the the amount

of wealth you have is not based on

00:50:33 --> 00:50:35

how good or bad you are.

Allah gives you and he chooses it for

you. He apportions it to you. So this

thought that we have, until I start cheating

00:50:41 --> 00:50:43

people, until I start harming people, until I

00:50:43 --> 00:50:44

start being a jerk about stuff, until I

00:50:44 --> 00:50:46

start being violent, until I start being,

00:50:47 --> 00:50:50

like, sly and deceptive, until I start being,

00:50:51 --> 00:50:53

you know, you know, poisonous, treacherous,

00:50:54 --> 00:50:56

until I start harming life is a zero

00:50:56 --> 00:50:59

sum game. How is life a zero sum

00:50:59 --> 00:51:01

game? Everything was 0 and a lot said

to it be and it is. How is

Allah creates everything from nothing.

women to marry, the ladies you'll have, good

be enough for everybody.

You know? We obviously don't misallocate resources when

we're put in charge of them. But after

the proper allocation of resources

And you choose whether you want that risk

to be haram. And it's a choice that

he created you from nothing. He gave you

when you were a baby. You didn't even

go struggle for something. He sent a mother

to you to give you milk. He sent

someone to take care of you. You grew

up. You know, you didn't know any of

who are uglier than you, that are poorer

than you, that have less education. The same

Allah who gave them, he'll give you as

well. And if he doesn't if he withholds

being a jerk and being poisonous in the

way you transact with other people is not

gonna help. I remember

an offer

a tobacco company,

as a job.

being broke. Then if you're gonna have money,

Allah would have given it to you some

other way anyway. And that's the wonderful part

is who knows what the future holds. Right?

But this is part of iman, is that

Allah is gonna give you what he's gonna

let, like, years of their lives pass by

in degeneracy.

violated the sanctuary of the king, the king

once you violated, you strayed into that that

sacred land that you were not allowed into,

and that unlawful land that you were not

allowed to graze in.

That that's when, you know, that's when the

the sleeves come up and and the beat

such a fact. One day may come, may

Allah give all of you his love such

that you wouldn't want to anyway.

That you would, love,

Allah

so much that you wouldn't even have to

worry about the fact that if you got

into a fight with him, you would get

completely clobbered and destroyed.

But that is a reality. We also should

come to terms with that as well.

of the madrifa of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

Allah Ta'ala,

forgive us our sins. Allah Ta'ala, help us

to purify

our means by which we eat and drink

and our clothes that we wear and our,

conveyance that we go around and and our

homes that we live in and everything that

01:01:08 --> 01:01:10

we benefit from in this world. May Allah

01:01:10 --> 01:01:12

make it pure and clean.

01:01:16 --> 01:01:19

Oh, Allah make sufficient for us your halal,

01:01:19 --> 01:01:20

so that we don't need to worry about

01:01:20 --> 01:01:22

your haram and,

01:01:22 --> 01:01:23

free us of need,

01:01:24 --> 01:01:26

by depending on you. Free us of need

01:01:26 --> 01:01:28

from anyone other than you. You Allah,

01:01:29 --> 01:01:31

our brothers and sisters who are suffering from

01:01:31 --> 01:01:33

anything, including those who are suffering from this

01:01:33 --> 01:01:36

virus, You Allah, give them a a a

01:01:36 --> 01:01:39

a maharaj, an exit from their worries and

01:01:39 --> 01:01:41

their concerns and their problems and their sicknesses

01:01:41 --> 01:01:41

and their sufferings.

01:01:42 --> 01:01:44

You Allah, whoever whoever is good to your

01:01:44 --> 01:01:46

creation, whoever is good to the ummah of

01:01:46 --> 01:01:48

Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. You Allah,

01:01:48 --> 01:01:50

give them from your lut and from your

01:01:50 --> 01:01:53

qalam and from your your minna. You Allah,

01:01:53 --> 01:01:55

give them from your generosity and from your

01:01:55 --> 01:01:57

kindness and from your gentleness in this world

01:01:57 --> 01:01:58

and the hereafter.

01:01:58 --> 01:02:00

And anyone who wishes ill to the Ummah

01:02:00 --> 01:02:01

of the prophet

01:02:02 --> 01:02:04

or to your creation. You Allah, use this

01:02:04 --> 01:02:06

use this, any of these means you made

01:02:06 --> 01:02:09

or any means you wish to make or

01:02:09 --> 01:02:11

without any means, you Allah, protect us from

01:02:11 --> 01:02:14

them and take them away from us and,

01:02:15 --> 01:02:18

protect your creation from them, you Allah, and

01:02:18 --> 01:02:20

bar them from from being able to harm

01:02:20 --> 01:02:22

any of us and deal with them, according

01:02:22 --> 01:02:23

to what they deserve.

01:02:23 --> 01:02:25

You Allah, get us through all of these

01:02:25 --> 01:02:27

things and let us die on ima

01:02:27 --> 01:02:29

and make, with the moment we die, make

01:02:29 --> 01:02:30

our last words,

01:02:33 --> 01:02:34

accept it from us and make what's in

01:02:34 --> 01:02:35

front of us,

01:02:36 --> 01:02:38

better and more beloved to us and,

01:02:39 --> 01:02:40

something that we have more

01:02:42 --> 01:02:44

desire for than what's behind us on that

01:02:44 --> 01:02:45

day. Give us to drink from the howl

01:02:45 --> 01:02:47

of your Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,

01:02:48 --> 01:02:50

drink that we never thirst again. That will

01:02:50 --> 01:02:52

inoculate us against the horrors of the day

01:02:52 --> 01:02:54

of judgment and give us a for ever

01:02:54 --> 01:02:56

and ever. And and Jannah with your

01:02:57 --> 01:02:59

that we enter from any of the 8

01:02:59 --> 01:03:01

gates we wish, you Allah, even though we

01:03:01 --> 01:03:03

admit right now from beforehand that we don't

01:03:03 --> 01:03:05

deserve it. If, You Allah, if you accept

01:03:05 --> 01:03:07

Amin of anyone from this, umay Allah, from

01:03:07 --> 01:03:09

the barakah of that Amin that you accept,

01:03:09 --> 01:03:11

You Allah then accept it for all of
