And it's a different experience regardless of whether you go to one Masjid every single day, there's always going to be different people there and different people bring different you know, experiences but also traveling when you travel the world

and you go to different countries you'll notice that there's a lot of different ways of doing things a lot of massage it you know, have their methods of implementing certain things within the community.

So that is something to keep in mind in sha Allah Allah I know many of the scholars talk about traveling, you know, when you travel the world and you go from place to place, you have to keep in mind the type of people that you're interacting with who you're talking to, you know, praying in certain places like for example, I've been to certain countries where when you go the majority of the people are following the Hanafi madhhab for example so you go in you start yourself out and walk off and instead of placing your hands lower, right lower.

And I'll show you all of these things, you know different things that we can learn from and we have to keep in mind how important it is as Muslims to implement our

Deen and to make sure that we stand strong by it right? We can't just say we're Muslim, and that's the end of it. No, we're Muslim and we stand by it and we do what is right according to the deen of Allah subhanho wa Taala

So let's look at a few things inshallah we're not going to talk about what I just finished mentioning.

And so when the sun is at Zenith people think oh, it's so great. This is the time when we need to be asking from the sun, whether you have to be there was no way to protect us that shift, right and then the time when the sun is rising, be like oh my god, it's so beautiful. And they're like, you know, praising the sun or asking from the sun, right? And it's a time when it's impermissible to do that. And sometimes people you'll you'll find nations of people,

instead of just asking they will bow down in submission to the rising of the sun, the setting of the sun, or the sun at its zenith. So I remember our teachers in Medina you know explaining to us that when you enter the masjid if it's one of these three times where it's discouraged to make such a to Allah subhanho wa Taala then you can delay your to hear to Masjid until right after that time ends and if you enter when it is that time then remain standing you can make your firewall standing up if you need to sit down you can sit down and then as soon as the time is over, then get up and pray those two that okay okay, Allah Subhana Allah knows why you are not praying those to rock out during

that time so don't feel like oh my god I have to do this I have to do that I have to do this cultural any desire and we go crazy, right? No, we need to take it easy and think, think how do I apply Islam to my life? How do I apply Islam in a way knowing that Allah knows what's in my mind? What's in my heart? What my intentions are Allah subhanho wa Taala knows it. Okay? This doesn't mean that we can just go ahead and do whatever we want and Allah knows human is here, right? People say amen. Hakuna right? You know, Allah knows what's in my heart. So how Allah you know how many times have we heard stories of people saying you know of elderly or friends or you know, we see people in

the community where sometimes they're doing something you go and you speak to them, correct them and they say, Nope, if Allah knows Allah knows what's in my heart Leave me alone. I don't need to pray. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, right? That's that's not how it is. Allah subhanaw taala commands us to do something we do it. Right, we do it. We don't make excuses saying Allah.

knows so I don't need to do it. Allah knows how you feel, but you still need to do it. Okay, we still need to do it. Alright so that's that now.

If you're standing praying and the hope is going on people's minds are not like staring at

So that's that with regards to praying to get you to the masjid. The next thing we're going to look at in sha Allah Allah is fabu

When one of you enters the masjid, he should consider

And so now, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam continues it says and when he enters the masjid, he is considered as praying Salah as long as it is the Salah, which prevents him from leaving the masjid. Okay, so as long as you're there and you're praying, you're busy in prayer, then it is written that you are praying in the masjid. But in addition to that, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam continues and says, and the angels keep on supplicating to Allah for him, as long as he or she of course, remains in their place of prayer.

The angels say, Allahu Allah have mercy on him, along them of Fiddler who, Allah forgive him. Allah matoba la, Allah accept his repentance, so long as he or she doesn't harm someone

or break his or her will. So when we go to the masjid, remember from the benefits of simply being in the masjid is that it's written that we are busy in prayer while we're in the masjid so long as we're there and we went for prayer, and we prayed, but now once you're done praying and you remain seated, sitting in the place that you prayed, and all you're doing is sitting, this is how beautiful this Deen is right? You don't even need

To do much, as long as you stay there you remain seated in the place that you prayed.

The angels are making do for us they're asking a lot. Now you're you and I probably not even sitting there with our hands up in the air making your hand up but the angels are making draw for us. Can you imagine that? Pamela? Isn't that amazing? Yes, absolutely. And so the prophets all along it who was sending them, says,

Madame a few image Lucy lady is Salafi, yaku loon, so long as you stay in the place of prayer, where you were in you stay seated there. The angels say Allahu Allah have mercy on him or her, Allah him a fiddler who, or law forgive him or her, Allah to ballet, or law, accept his or her repentance, Malamute, the fi miralem, your death, right? So long as we remain there without harming someone, or breaking our rule. So all you did was pray your prayer, and stay seated where you prayed.

And the angels continue to pray and make dua to Allah for you. To be forgiven. To Have mercy for our repentance to be accepted. And what are we doing? Nothing. Just sitting down? No.

So long as we sit there with little and we don't harm someone else, harming them with our tongues, harming them by saying things or doing something to them, we make sure that we are not going to harm someone else. Just sit there and do nothing. And Allah Subhana Allah will bless us through the door of the angels. And the longer we sit there, the more dry we get. Now people say

to each other, when they meet one another and greet What do we usually ask people?

We're leaving them we say, they don't have for me, me drawing for me, profits and the longer I do this, I'm encouraged that we make draw for ourselves, right? What happens is people ask others may draw from you may drive from me and they forget to make for themselves. But here as long as we're sitting there, the angels will continue to make draw for us. And this is why we should try to sit down after the prayer and stay seated that we don't even need to say anything. Another thing that we can do after the prayer and I've mentioned this before, it's not part of what we're covering today. But when we recite I have to of course see the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says nothing is

stopping us from entering into paradise after we pray and we recite Surah ayatul kursi Allahu Allah in love Well hi Europa, Yom leucaena Tawana no no Matthew summer what you wanna feel, man lineage? firmoo Isla De La MaMa Bina ad mama alfalfa What are your heat will be shining in mirroring me in LA v Moshe our car cool see you summer what you want to know what are you loving? That's it. As long as we say that, for so long. It was Selim says nothing is stopping you from entering into paradise, except the fact that you are still alive.

What does that mean? That means that Paradise is written for you, you just submitted to Allah and you glorified and praised Allah through his words in the Quran. One of the most powerful verses I had to of course he and the Prophet sallallahu. It was something missing the last pen which had a lot

So go live your life Alhamdulillah do what you need to do know that you're being forgiven. From prayer, to prayer to prayer, continue to pray your prayers on time. And Allah Subhana Allah is Forgiving us stop the sins that we're committing, stay away from evils. And guess what,

you'll see that life will start to feel so much better.

Especially if we're praying those prayers in the mustard, right? I know a lot of brothers and sisters come to the masjid on a regular basis, right? on a regular basis. hamdulillah right. But the point is that you wherever you are you don't miss your prayers. Okay, wherever you are, you don't miss your prayers.

All right, a few things to keep in mind. First of all,

when the Salah is done, you remain there, you don't quickly get up and rush. You don't get on your phone, right? We'll get on your phone and start like commenting and sending bad messages to others and stuff like that, that's harming someone else as well. And the door of the angels is just in our sitting and waiting and being there. Okay, and also

make sure that we don't harm anybody. Okay, make sure that we don't harm anybody saying something to others just remain like to yourself, just keep to yourself. Don't need to bother anybody else. Okay. The next thing that we're going to look at and show a lot of data is Joe was he still called Phil mustard? Okay, the Phil masajid. And I was I used to think to myself, I should never do that, right? And I would just sit up, right? Sometimes you can lean on the floor, but I would never like sit back and reclaim, especially when reciting Quran. It was something that our teachers taught us. You never lean back and recite and write, you sit up on your own, and you recite the Quran, and you never have your legs stretched out,

which we'll talk about in a bit, right? That's what I was brought up upon. But then as you learn, you realize, Allah wants life to be comfortable for us, right? And he tells the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to tell us, right? Yes, zero whether to ask zero, right? make things easy upon the people and don't make them difficult for them. And so as Muslims, we should understand that hey, Allah Subhana Allah doesn't like come down hard, like super Shetty super hard, super strict on us as Muslims. No, Allah is trying to make things easy for us. This Deen is not a religion, oh my god, I need to do something differently. No, it's a way to live life. You come to the masjid, you can

relax. You can recline and he showed us through the son of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that you can do that it's permissible to do that. And so Al Hamdulillah

McCann you're in your home and you're laying in the masjid. And I've seen this right you go to Mecca, some people are so tired, so exhausted, they fall asleep, especially when you're performing hygiene, you go to Mina, they're in the tents laying down and their home is like wide open, you know, you got to make sure that you cover yourself. So as long as you're able to wrap yourself properly, make sure that you're going to stay covered, and you're always not going to become exposed, then it'll handle up but remember the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. roofie, I'll call him and tell us the pen is lifted from three people, right? They're not sitting for it. So we take a precautionary measure make sure that if you're resting in the mustard, you're going to cover your a little properly and then hamdulillah you might even be wearing this over right and your phone comes up or for sisters they're wearing something and you know, it might be ad buyer opens up or something of that sort or the hijab

slips off. Just make sure that you are going to try your best to maintain your, our being covered. And Alhamdulillah Forgive me, the brother is going wild vacuuming outside of my office.

There we go. hamdulillah. You stopped, right? So hopefully you could still hear properly. The other thing to keep in mind as well is

when resting, sleeping, or reclining, right relaxing, laying down in the masjid.

There are certain cultures that teach the Muslims it is not permissible or it is sinful to have your feet stretched out in the direction of the Qibla. Well, the reality is that

there is no proof or evidence that this is sinful for us to do. So is it permissible? Yes.

Is it advised for us to do that? Well, if a person does it, like a person wants to face the good life, right, let's just say the good lives in this direction. And I'm sitting reciting Quran and I'm tired and I want to recline I want to lean back. So I lean back, and my knees are hurting, and so on. So I stretch my feet out, my feet are now facing the direction of the Qibla Should I put my back to the Qibla because or my side to that could lead because I want to rest my like stretch my feet out. Now

you can remain facing the direction of the kudla. There's nothing wrong with stretching your feet out facing the direction of the Qibla. This is a cultural thing. It is something taught in certain regions of the world, we were brought up upon that as well that you should not extend your feet, stretch them out facing the Qibla but Alhamdulillah it is something that is not considered sinful, okay, it's not considered sinful.

Another thing to keep in mind is that when a person stretches their feet out, whatever direction they're stretching their feet out, they sometimes may be pointing their feet, the bottom of their feet towards

the shell for the most half is or you know, where the Quran is facing

out of etiquette. Again, we are discouraged from having our feet facing especially if it's very close towards the colon.

So just out of etiquette, right? So we're learning etiquette. We try to avoid that. But is it sinful if someone is tired and they're like man, I'm super tired but I can't do this. No, no, you can extend your feet out facing the Qibla lean back recline and continue your recitation your dog or your cat well that's fine, especially if you're in front of the camera but you're in mcca you're looking at the car but you wouldn't turn your back to the Garbo because you don't want to stretch your feet out. You stay looking at the cargo because hey, it's the cabin. Right? And there's blessings in being there. Haven't been in LA and looking at the cabin. Now.

The next thing we look at is jawas. Unknown Phil mustard. Is it permissible to sleep in the masjid? Well, the answer to that is yes. It is permissible to sleep in the masjid. Right they would camp there at times would be tents, a tent set up in the back of must have the ability for people to sleep and rest and recover from injury whether it was due to battle or old age or anything of that sort. In addition to that, and yes, I was just going to mention that for HUD

is that if someone is sleeping in the masjid, and

I know there might be children watching, but you can explain this to your children. My daughter who's seven just turned eight years old, actually asked me the other day about this, right.
