First of all, I just would like to

00:00:18 --> 00:00:20

apologize for last week

00:00:20 --> 00:00:21

regarding the absence.

00:00:22 --> 00:00:24

It was very difficult to get here. That's

00:00:24 --> 00:00:24

why

00:00:25 --> 00:00:27

the trip wasn't able to take place.

00:00:28 --> 00:00:30

But we try to make you up.

00:00:32 --> 00:00:33

We took a few

00:00:33 --> 00:00:36

important issues related to Tawhid

00:00:36 --> 00:00:38

in the previous lesson.

00:00:41 --> 00:00:42

Regarding

00:00:43 --> 00:00:44

singling out Allah

00:00:47 --> 00:00:48

in his lordship.

00:00:49 --> 00:00:50

As we all know,

00:00:52 --> 00:00:54

that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the almighty

00:00:55 --> 00:00:55

creator.

00:00:57 --> 00:00:59

And there's no one besides

00:01:00 --> 00:01:01

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

00:01:02 --> 00:01:04

in charge of all all of these affairs.

00:01:06 --> 00:01:07

This is the Tawhid

00:01:08 --> 00:01:09

singling out Allah

00:01:10 --> 00:01:11

in his lordship.

00:01:12 --> 00:01:15

And this is very, very important also because

00:01:15 --> 00:01:18

this covers the the major aspects of Tawhid.

00:01:20 --> 00:01:22

And it's not the only thing as well.

00:01:23 --> 00:01:25

And we mentioned this last week as well.

00:01:27 --> 00:01:28

We are all in a religion,

00:01:29 --> 00:01:31

in the deen of Islam, where we have

00:01:31 --> 00:01:33

to single out Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in

00:01:33 --> 00:01:34

his lordship.

00:01:36 --> 00:01:39

Many people have gone astray related to this

00:01:39 --> 00:01:39

issue.

00:01:40 --> 00:01:40

You find people

00:01:43 --> 00:01:45

who worship other than Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,

00:01:45 --> 00:01:47

and we don't need to look far as

00:01:47 --> 00:01:47

well.

00:01:48 --> 00:01:50

We we find in our

00:01:50 --> 00:01:52

streets, and likewise in the places that we

00:01:52 --> 00:01:53

live,

00:01:53 --> 00:01:54

many many

00:01:55 --> 00:01:56

places where other people

00:01:57 --> 00:01:58

worship other than Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,

00:01:59 --> 00:02:00

like churches,

00:02:00 --> 00:02:01

temples,

00:02:02 --> 00:02:02

etcetera.

00:02:05 --> 00:02:06

And you find people worshiping

00:02:07 --> 00:02:08

Jesus, alayhis salaam,

00:02:20 --> 00:02:23

of singling out Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala in

00:02:23 --> 00:02:24

his lordship.

00:02:25 --> 00:02:27

And a person needs to

00:02:28 --> 00:02:31

verify and rectify this affair if he's going

00:02:31 --> 00:02:31

to

00:02:32 --> 00:02:33

establish the Tawhid

00:02:34 --> 00:02:35

in the best possible manner.

00:02:37 --> 00:02:39

And you cannot establish tawhid except by this.

00:02:40 --> 00:02:42

And there's other aspects as well that we

00:02:42 --> 00:02:44

inshallah, ta'ala, by the will of Allah,

00:02:44 --> 00:02:46

the more we move on into the lesson,

00:02:47 --> 00:02:49

we will come to know and learn.

00:02:52 --> 00:02:54

So we took last week some of the

00:02:54 --> 00:02:54

questions.

00:02:55 --> 00:02:57

And Inshallah, a request from the brothers,

00:02:57 --> 00:02:59

the more questions that we take,

00:03:00 --> 00:03:02

that we try to memorize the questions, and

00:03:02 --> 00:03:04

likewise, the answers with its proofs.

00:03:05 --> 00:03:07

Because that's very very important.

00:03:07 --> 00:03:09

When we tell the people

00:03:09 --> 00:03:11

or when we preach to the people

00:03:12 --> 00:03:13

and we don't give them the proofs, and

00:03:13 --> 00:03:14

likewise, the basis,

00:03:15 --> 00:03:16

this is not going to lead to anything.

00:03:17 --> 00:03:19

Rather, everyone's statement is going to be the

00:03:19 --> 00:03:22

same. This person says something, the other says

00:03:22 --> 00:03:23

another, and that's it.

00:03:24 --> 00:03:25

But if you have that

00:03:26 --> 00:03:27

decisive

00:03:27 --> 00:03:28

proof,

00:03:28 --> 00:03:30

which is from the Quran and likewise the

00:03:30 --> 00:03:30

sunnah,

00:03:31 --> 00:03:33

it could end any sort of doubt there

00:03:33 --> 00:03:34

and then.

00:03:34 --> 00:03:36

This is why memorizing the proofs and likewise

00:03:36 --> 00:03:39

memorizing the Quran, this is where all the

00:03:39 --> 00:03:40

proofs are found, is very, very important.

00:03:43 --> 00:03:45

The first question that we took was who

00:03:45 --> 00:03:46

created you?

00:03:47 --> 00:03:49

And the answer was, say Allah Subhanahu Wa

00:03:49 --> 00:03:52

Ta'ala has created me, and he has created

00:03:52 --> 00:03:54

all of the created beings.

00:03:55 --> 00:03:57

And the proof is the statement of Allah

00:03:57 --> 00:03:58

subhanahu wa ta'ala,

00:04:00 --> 00:04:02

And the second question was, who is your

00:04:02 --> 00:04:02

Lord?

00:04:03 --> 00:04:05

Say Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is my lord

00:04:05 --> 00:04:06

and the lord of all things. And the

00:04:06 --> 00:04:08

proof is the statement of Allah,

00:04:12 --> 00:04:14

Say it is other than Allah subhanahu wa

00:04:14 --> 00:04:17

ta'ala should desire as the lord while he

00:04:17 --> 00:04:18

is the lord of all things.

00:04:20 --> 00:04:21

And the final proof was,

00:04:24 --> 00:04:25

All praise is due to Allah, Subhanahu Wa

00:04:25 --> 00:04:28

Ta'ala, Lord of all that exists.

00:04:29 --> 00:04:31

This is very, very simple,

00:04:31 --> 00:04:33

and most people, they acknowledge this.

00:04:34 --> 00:04:36

And we mentioned also last week

00:04:37 --> 00:04:38

that it is not enough

00:04:38 --> 00:04:40

for a person to acknowledge this affair in

00:04:40 --> 00:04:42

order to enter into the deen of Islam.

00:04:45 --> 00:04:47

To acknowledge that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is

00:04:47 --> 00:04:49

the almighty creator, and that's it.

00:04:50 --> 00:04:52

This is not enough for a person to

00:04:52 --> 00:04:53

enter into Islam,

00:04:53 --> 00:04:55

because this is the thing also

00:04:55 --> 00:04:57

that the Quraysh,

00:04:58 --> 00:04:59

the polytheism of the prophet

00:05:01 --> 00:05:02

time they used to acknowledge.

00:05:03 --> 00:05:04

If you ask them who created the heavens

00:05:04 --> 00:05:06

and the earth, they would say Allah.

00:05:07 --> 00:05:08

But the thing

00:05:08 --> 00:05:09

that

00:05:11 --> 00:05:12

made them polytheists

00:05:13 --> 00:05:14

was because

00:05:14 --> 00:05:15

they

00:05:17 --> 00:05:19

associated partners of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in

00:05:19 --> 00:05:19

the worship.

00:05:20 --> 00:05:22

They would know Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala brings

00:05:22 --> 00:05:25

down the rain and he provides and controls

00:05:25 --> 00:05:27

all affairs, but the thing is,

00:05:27 --> 00:05:28

they would

00:05:28 --> 00:05:31

make other deities beside Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

00:05:31 --> 00:05:33

They would have the aslam, they would have

00:05:33 --> 00:05:34

the statues between them and Allah.

00:05:35 --> 00:05:37

And it was not enough for them to

00:05:37 --> 00:05:38

enter into Islam

00:05:39 --> 00:05:40

by this alone.

00:05:42 --> 00:05:44

I hope that's clear, inshallah.

00:05:45 --> 00:05:47

The final point I mentioned, I hope, inshallah,

00:05:47 --> 00:05:48

is, understandable as well. Okay. Inshallah, we move

00:05:48 --> 00:05:48

on to the

00:05:52 --> 00:05:54

Darzah of today, the lesson of today.

00:05:56 --> 00:05:58

When it is said to you, why did

00:05:58 --> 00:06:01

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala create us or create

00:06:01 --> 00:06:01

you?

00:06:03 --> 00:06:05

Say, he has created you,

00:06:06 --> 00:06:08

or he has created us to worship him.

00:06:09 --> 00:06:11

And the proof is the statement of Allah

00:06:16 --> 00:06:17

And I did not create

00:06:18 --> 00:06:21

jinn and mankind except to worship me alone.

00:06:23 --> 00:06:24

This this problem,

00:06:25 --> 00:06:27

that inshallah, I'll mention right now, eludes many

00:06:27 --> 00:06:28

many of the people.

00:06:31 --> 00:06:33

Some people, they believe

00:06:33 --> 00:06:35

they have been put in this world or

00:06:35 --> 00:06:37

they have been put in this dunya in

00:06:37 --> 00:06:38

order to make a living.

00:06:40 --> 00:06:42

And they forget their main purpose why they

00:06:42 --> 00:06:42

are here.

00:06:45 --> 00:06:47

I'm not saying that the dunya, you don't

00:06:47 --> 00:06:48

take anything from it.

00:06:49 --> 00:06:51

Obviously, it's part of the affairs of their

00:06:51 --> 00:06:51

life.

00:06:52 --> 00:06:54

But many people, they don't

00:06:55 --> 00:06:57

see the main reason why they're here.

00:06:58 --> 00:07:00

The dunya has affected them so much,

00:07:01 --> 00:07:03

they have forgotten Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, wants

00:07:03 --> 00:07:06

them to do certain affairs and things.

00:07:08 --> 00:07:10

This is why the prophet, sallallahu alaihi wa

00:07:10 --> 00:07:12

sallam, he said, this dunya is

00:07:13 --> 00:07:14

This dunya is cursed.

00:07:18 --> 00:07:19

It was narrated by Tirmidi.

00:07:21 --> 00:07:22

Why was a why

00:07:22 --> 00:07:24

was a curse? Because why?

00:07:25 --> 00:07:27

It beases a person away from the remembrance

00:07:27 --> 00:07:28

of Allah

00:07:31 --> 00:07:32

It takes him away

00:07:33 --> 00:07:34

from his main objective,

00:07:34 --> 00:07:36

which is to worship Allah

00:07:36 --> 00:07:37

alone.

00:07:38 --> 00:07:40

He did not put us in this place

00:07:40 --> 00:07:41

without an aim. Allah

00:07:42 --> 00:07:43

says in the Quran,

00:07:47 --> 00:07:48

says in the Quran, Does man think that

00:07:48 --> 00:07:50

we have left him without an aim?

00:07:51 --> 00:07:53

And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala also says,

00:08:01 --> 00:08:02

And does man think

00:08:03 --> 00:08:05

that we have left him without no reason,

00:08:05 --> 00:08:07

or we have put him here without a

00:08:07 --> 00:08:07

reason,

00:08:09 --> 00:08:11

and that he won't be coming back to

00:08:11 --> 00:08:12

us?

00:08:13 --> 00:08:15

Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, questions the people

00:08:16 --> 00:08:17

in these ayat.

00:08:19 --> 00:08:21

So we have to think clearly why we

00:08:21 --> 00:08:21

are here.

00:08:22 --> 00:08:23

We have to ask ourselves,

00:08:25 --> 00:08:26

in our day,

00:08:27 --> 00:08:29

the way in this dunya, how much of

00:08:29 --> 00:08:31

it goes to worship Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?

00:08:32 --> 00:08:35

How much of the time goes to establishing

00:08:35 --> 00:08:35

or

00:08:37 --> 00:08:39

trying to do what Allah

00:08:39 --> 00:08:41

has told us in this ayah.

00:08:44 --> 00:08:46

I did not create man and jinn except

00:08:46 --> 00:08:47

to wash me alone.

00:08:48 --> 00:08:50

How much of our time goes to waste?

00:08:52 --> 00:08:54

Are we establishing our prayers?

00:08:55 --> 00:08:57

Are we establishing our deen?

00:08:58 --> 00:09:00

Are we fulfilling the main objective why we

00:09:00 --> 00:09:01

are here?

00:09:03 --> 00:09:04

If we're not doing this, wallahi, we have

00:09:04 --> 00:09:05

to question ourselves

00:09:06 --> 00:09:08

because we haven't been created for anything else.

00:09:09 --> 00:09:11

All of these things go around the circle.

00:09:12 --> 00:09:14

But the main thing that's in the circle

00:09:14 --> 00:09:15

is our ibadah.

00:09:16 --> 00:09:18

When we wake up in the morning, you

00:09:18 --> 00:09:19

find people, the first thing that comes into

00:09:19 --> 00:09:21

our mind, how am I going to make

00:09:21 --> 00:09:22

money today?

00:09:25 --> 00:09:26

It is not, am I going to establish

00:09:26 --> 00:09:28

my prayer in this place? Am I gonna

00:09:28 --> 00:09:29

be doing in the masajid?

00:09:31 --> 00:09:33

Am I going to be paying my zakat?

00:09:34 --> 00:09:36

How will I be worshipping Allah subhanahu wa

00:09:36 --> 00:09:38

ta'ala? Will I be reading the Quran?

00:09:39 --> 00:09:39

Etcetera.

00:09:41 --> 00:09:44

Our main objective should be what? Trying to

00:09:44 --> 00:09:47

establish our deen, trying to perfect it, and

00:09:47 --> 00:09:48

trying to get it in its order,

00:09:49 --> 00:09:51

placing it in its proper place, then everything

00:09:51 --> 00:09:53

else goes around it.

00:09:55 --> 00:09:56

Your prayer,

00:09:56 --> 00:09:58

your job goes around the prayer. It doesn't

00:09:58 --> 00:09:59

go the other way.

00:10:00 --> 00:10:01

When I have a job, I'm gonna pray

00:10:01 --> 00:10:03

my prayer when I'm done with the job.

00:10:03 --> 00:10:03

No.

00:10:04 --> 00:10:05

Rather, it should be your

00:10:06 --> 00:10:06

that

00:10:07 --> 00:10:09

should have no effect upon everything else.

00:10:10 --> 00:10:12

Your Ibadah needs to be our main objective.

00:10:14 --> 00:10:16

You find a lot of people are afflicted

00:10:16 --> 00:10:16

and likewise

00:10:17 --> 00:10:19

trialed with this issue,

00:10:19 --> 00:10:21

which is when they're given work,

00:10:22 --> 00:10:24

everything else

00:10:24 --> 00:10:26

related to the deen goes on standby.

00:10:28 --> 00:10:30

His main priority becomes what?

00:10:30 --> 00:10:31

I have to work.

00:10:34 --> 00:10:36

So he latens the prayer, and he latens

00:10:36 --> 00:10:38

our affairs of the deen.

00:10:39 --> 00:10:41

This is something that should be think about,

00:10:42 --> 00:10:42

and likewise,

00:10:43 --> 00:10:44

be rectified.

00:10:45 --> 00:10:47

Because I've seen many, many peep people complain

00:10:47 --> 00:10:48

about this.

00:10:49 --> 00:10:51

Or many people, when they start these works

00:10:51 --> 00:10:52

or when they start these things,

00:10:53 --> 00:10:56

their iman becomes very, very low, fearing they're

00:10:56 --> 00:10:58

gonna lose their job if they don't pray,

00:10:58 --> 00:11:00

if they don't establish the.

00:11:01 --> 00:11:03

So inshallah, before we go to sleep, we

00:11:03 --> 00:11:05

can think about these issues, which are very,

00:11:05 --> 00:11:06

very important,

00:11:07 --> 00:11:09

and we can ponder over it.

00:11:14 --> 00:11:16

The The 4th question that the sheikh, he

00:11:16 --> 00:11:18

mentioned in the book, Roberti al Mufidah,

00:11:19 --> 00:11:20

he says, when it is said to you,

00:11:20 --> 00:11:22

what is your religion?

00:11:24 --> 00:11:26

Say my religion is the true religion of

00:11:26 --> 00:11:26

Islam.

00:11:28 --> 00:11:30

And the proof is the statement of Allah

00:11:31 --> 00:11:31

Islam.

00:11:34 --> 00:11:36

Truly the religion of Allah

00:11:37 --> 00:11:37

is Islam.

00:11:39 --> 00:11:40

The second high he mentions,

00:11:46 --> 00:11:48

It is he who has sent his messengers

00:11:48 --> 00:11:49

with his guidance

00:11:50 --> 00:11:51

and the religion of truth.

00:11:52 --> 00:11:53

And the 3rd ayah,

00:12:01 --> 00:12:03

And whoever desires

00:12:03 --> 00:12:04

other than the Islam

00:12:05 --> 00:12:07

as a religion, it will not be accepted

00:12:07 --> 00:12:09

from him, and he

00:12:10 --> 00:12:12

in the hereafter will be among the losers.

00:12:14 --> 00:12:16

A basic understanding of these few ayah that

00:12:16 --> 00:12:18

has been mentioned by the Sheikh here

00:12:19 --> 00:12:19

is that

00:12:20 --> 00:12:23

the only acceptable religion at this time is

00:12:23 --> 00:12:23

Islam.

00:12:28 --> 00:12:30

I don't think that many people,

00:12:31 --> 00:12:33

and likewise us,

00:12:33 --> 00:12:34

realize

00:12:35 --> 00:12:36

the importance of Islam.

00:12:38 --> 00:12:40

The biggest bounty that a person can be

00:12:40 --> 00:12:41

given

00:12:41 --> 00:12:43

is the religion of Islam. If you look

00:12:43 --> 00:12:45

back upon the ayat of Allah Subhanahu Wa

00:12:45 --> 00:12:47

Ta'ala, you would find the biggest thing

00:12:47 --> 00:12:50

and the greatest thing that can be bestowed

00:12:50 --> 00:12:51

upon a person is Islam. Allah

00:12:53 --> 00:12:56

subhanahu wa ta'ala tells us to remember and

00:12:56 --> 00:12:58

likewise reflect upon these bounties in the

00:13:09 --> 00:13:10

Allah says in the Quran,

00:13:10 --> 00:13:12

and remember the bounties of Allah.

00:13:14 --> 00:13:15

When you were enemies,

00:13:15 --> 00:13:16

meaning before

00:13:18 --> 00:13:21

the people they entered into Islam, meaning the

00:13:21 --> 00:13:21

Sahabas.

00:13:26 --> 00:13:28

And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala joined up your

00:13:28 --> 00:13:29

hearts.

00:13:30 --> 00:13:32

And because of this bounty,

00:13:33 --> 00:13:34

you became brothers.

00:13:40 --> 00:13:42

And you was on the edge of falling

00:13:42 --> 00:13:44

into the hellfire, but Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala,

00:13:44 --> 00:13:45

saved you from it.

00:13:47 --> 00:13:48

Had it not been

00:13:49 --> 00:13:50

for our Islam,

00:13:51 --> 00:13:53

our case would be the same case as

00:13:53 --> 00:13:55

the rest of the people that we're living

00:13:55 --> 00:13:56

with.

00:13:56 --> 00:13:58

And we don't need to look far as

00:13:58 --> 00:13:58

well.

00:13:59 --> 00:14:01

As soon as we step out of our

00:14:01 --> 00:14:03

Masjid, we see all the people

00:14:03 --> 00:14:04

doing their things.

00:14:05 --> 00:14:07

You find the majority of the people are

00:14:07 --> 00:14:09

what? They're disbelievers. They don't believe in Allah.

00:14:12 --> 00:14:13

Allah

00:14:14 --> 00:14:16

has not bestowed his nirm upon them.

00:14:17 --> 00:14:18

We take this to be we take this

00:14:18 --> 00:14:19

for a grant.

00:14:20 --> 00:14:21

We take this to be granted

00:14:22 --> 00:14:23

to us.

00:14:23 --> 00:14:25

We don't see how major this thing is.

00:14:27 --> 00:14:28

This great Islam.

00:14:30 --> 00:14:31

Allah

00:14:35 --> 00:14:37

If you follow the majority of the people

00:14:37 --> 00:14:39

in the world, they will lead you astray.

00:14:43 --> 00:14:45

Allah said the majority of the people will

00:14:45 --> 00:14:47

lead you astray. In another eye, he says,

00:14:47 --> 00:14:49

the majority of the people are mushrikeen.

00:14:52 --> 00:14:53

This is the case of many of the

00:14:53 --> 00:14:56

people that we're living with, and likewise in

00:14:56 --> 00:14:56

this dunya.

00:14:57 --> 00:14:58

We have been chosen

00:15:01 --> 00:15:01

between the

00:15:02 --> 00:15:04

many of the 1,000,000 or billions of this

00:15:04 --> 00:15:05

world

00:15:05 --> 00:15:07

to be what? To be Muslim in.

00:15:08 --> 00:15:10

And because us having iman,

00:15:11 --> 00:15:12

being Muslims,

00:15:14 --> 00:15:16

we have the chance. We all have the

00:15:16 --> 00:15:16

chance

00:15:17 --> 00:15:19

to get closer to our main goal, which

00:15:19 --> 00:15:20

is to read Jannah.

00:15:21 --> 00:15:24

But the person that hasn't entered into Islam,

00:15:24 --> 00:15:26

what's his case? He's very, very far away

00:15:26 --> 00:15:28

and he looks like if he carries on

00:15:28 --> 00:15:30

of what he's upon, he will be abiding

00:15:30 --> 00:15:31

in the hellfire.

00:15:33 --> 00:15:35

So his main objective, this dunya, this person

00:15:35 --> 00:15:38

has failed in it until this point.

00:15:39 --> 00:15:41

So for all them years that he doesn't

00:15:41 --> 00:15:43

accept Islam, this will be his case.

00:15:44 --> 00:15:46

This is why this is such a great

00:15:46 --> 00:15:46

nie'mah.

00:15:48 --> 00:15:50

And if we die, we always have a

00:15:50 --> 00:15:53

major chance of entering into a the major

00:15:53 --> 00:15:54

goal which is heavens.

00:15:55 --> 00:15:57

The jannah of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

00:15:58 --> 00:16:00

As for the many of the people's cases,

00:16:00 --> 00:16:02

what? They will be abiding in the hellfire.

00:16:02 --> 00:16:04

As Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has made it

00:16:04 --> 00:16:05

very, very clean in his book.

00:16:10 --> 00:16:13

For indeed the person that associate partners of

00:16:13 --> 00:16:15

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he has made the

00:16:15 --> 00:16:17

Jannah prohibited against him.

00:16:19 --> 00:16:21

So, it's upon us to ponder. And likewise

00:16:21 --> 00:16:22

thank Allah

00:16:22 --> 00:16:24

for these bounties that

00:16:24 --> 00:16:27

has bestowed upon us. Especially the biggest one

00:16:27 --> 00:16:28

which is Al Islam.

00:16:29 --> 00:16:30

Al Islam.

00:16:37 --> 00:16:38

And likewise, Allah

00:16:40 --> 00:16:42

has made this religion very, very easy with

00:16:42 --> 00:16:43

us, for

00:16:44 --> 00:16:46

us. You find a lot of propaganda

00:16:46 --> 00:16:49

or a lot of rumors taking place in

00:16:49 --> 00:16:51

the media, etcetera, that this is a deen,

00:16:51 --> 00:16:53

a religion of a extreme.

00:16:54 --> 00:16:56

Because of why some of the acts of

00:16:56 --> 00:16:56

the people.

00:16:57 --> 00:16:59

They look at the people and it becomes

00:16:59 --> 00:17:01

what? The whole of Islam is like this.

00:17:02 --> 00:17:03

Rather, if you look at the Sharia, you

00:17:03 --> 00:17:04

would find

00:17:04 --> 00:17:06

that the deen calls to what?

00:17:07 --> 00:17:08

Easiness.

00:17:09 --> 00:17:11

The deen has been made very, very easy

00:17:11 --> 00:17:13

for us, and if he was to act

00:17:13 --> 00:17:14

upon it accordingly,

00:17:15 --> 00:17:17

you would find it not to be harsh

00:17:17 --> 00:17:19

or extreme as people they

00:17:19 --> 00:17:19

claim.

00:17:21 --> 00:17:23

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said in the Quran,

00:17:26 --> 00:17:29

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala hasn't put any hardship

00:17:29 --> 00:17:31

against you in the deen.

00:17:32 --> 00:17:34

And likewise says in the hadith, the prophet

00:17:34 --> 00:17:35

says,

00:17:36 --> 00:17:37

and he was narrating

00:17:37 --> 00:17:38

on the authority of the

00:17:48 --> 00:17:50

And a person not extreme in the Deen

00:17:50 --> 00:17:53

except that it overturns him. And I'm gonna

00:17:53 --> 00:17:55

come back and explain this, what this really

00:17:55 --> 00:17:55

means.

00:17:56 --> 00:17:57

And likewise, the prophet

00:17:58 --> 00:17:59

he said,

00:18:04 --> 00:18:06

Make it easy and do not

00:18:07 --> 00:18:07

make

00:18:08 --> 00:18:08

it

00:18:09 --> 00:18:09

hard.

00:18:10 --> 00:18:11

And give glad tidings and do not

00:18:13 --> 00:18:14

scare the people away.

00:18:17 --> 00:18:18

This is what the fundamental

00:18:19 --> 00:18:22

religion is calling to. The deen of Islam

00:18:22 --> 00:18:23

is calling to this,

00:18:24 --> 00:18:26

that this deen is Youssar. And some of

00:18:26 --> 00:18:27

the examples of this,

00:18:28 --> 00:18:30

when a person, for example, is

00:18:30 --> 00:18:31

performing a song,

00:18:33 --> 00:18:34

and he becomes

00:18:35 --> 00:18:36

or he goes on his travels.

00:18:37 --> 00:18:39

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has made it very

00:18:39 --> 00:18:40

easy in this in this occasion.

00:18:41 --> 00:18:44

He can either carry on his own or

00:18:44 --> 00:18:45

he can break it.

00:18:46 --> 00:18:48

There's not an ayah or there's not a

00:18:48 --> 00:18:50

hadith saying whoever doesn't fast, even in this

00:18:50 --> 00:18:53

case, he's gonna get this amount of torment

00:18:53 --> 00:18:55

going on against him, etcetera.

00:18:56 --> 00:18:58

And likewise, there's many, many examples.

00:19:00 --> 00:19:02

For example, if a person cannot pray standing

00:19:02 --> 00:19:03

up

00:19:04 --> 00:19:05

because of an illness,

00:19:05 --> 00:19:07

or because of something he's suffering with, he

00:19:07 --> 00:19:08

can sit down,

00:19:09 --> 00:19:11

sitting down. And you can't do it sitting

00:19:11 --> 00:19:12

down, what can you do?

00:19:13 --> 00:19:14

On your side,

00:19:14 --> 00:19:15

etcetera.

00:19:15 --> 00:19:17

And the examples of this are very, very

00:19:17 --> 00:19:18

clear.

00:19:20 --> 00:19:22

So those clay that claim that this is

00:19:22 --> 00:19:24

a deen of oppression, or a deen of

00:19:24 --> 00:19:25

hardship,

00:19:25 --> 00:19:27

this is absolutely not incorrect because the of

00:19:27 --> 00:19:28

the deen,

00:19:28 --> 00:19:30

the origin of the deen is calling to

00:19:30 --> 00:19:31

otherwise.

00:19:32 --> 00:19:34

And that takes precedence over

00:19:34 --> 00:19:36

the statements of people of Bashar.

00:19:39 --> 00:19:40

As for the meaning of Islam,

00:19:43 --> 00:19:45

over the years, it has changed.

00:19:46 --> 00:19:48

You find people, they say that Islam is

00:19:48 --> 00:19:50

a way of life. This is the definition

00:19:50 --> 00:19:51

of Islam.

00:19:52 --> 00:19:54

Some people, they say Islam is peace.

00:19:55 --> 00:19:57

The definition of Islam is peace, etcetera.

00:19:59 --> 00:20:00

But if you was to go back to

00:20:00 --> 00:20:01

the original text,

00:20:02 --> 00:20:04

or the original meaning of this Islam,

00:20:04 --> 00:20:06

you would find it is otherwise.

00:20:08 --> 00:20:09

The correct meaning

00:20:14 --> 00:20:15

is submitting to Allah

00:20:23 --> 00:20:25

Well, and to go back to Allah subhanahu

00:20:25 --> 00:20:26

wa ta'ala with obedience.

00:20:27 --> 00:20:29

And the third one is

00:20:32 --> 00:20:33

is to free yourself

00:20:34 --> 00:20:36

from disbelief like shirk,

00:20:37 --> 00:20:39

associating partners of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, and

00:20:39 --> 00:20:42

those that are related or connected to it,

00:20:42 --> 00:20:43

the people of shirk.

00:20:45 --> 00:20:46

For example, now if I was to say

00:20:46 --> 00:20:47

that Islam is peace,

00:20:48 --> 00:20:49

or I would believe

00:20:49 --> 00:20:50

that the Islam

00:20:51 --> 00:20:52

only needs peace.

00:20:53 --> 00:20:55

As soon as I step into Islam, I

00:20:55 --> 00:20:56

only

00:20:57 --> 00:21:00

concentrate of how to make this Islam as

00:21:00 --> 00:21:00

a peace.

00:21:01 --> 00:21:03

Okay? Or to make it a dean of

00:21:03 --> 00:21:04

peace.

00:21:06 --> 00:21:08

Would I fulfill the objective

00:21:09 --> 00:21:11

of the true definition of Islam? The answer

00:21:11 --> 00:21:12

is no.

00:21:13 --> 00:21:15

Because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has told us

00:21:15 --> 00:21:15

to submit

00:21:18 --> 00:21:20

And those that only concentrate upon peace and

00:21:20 --> 00:21:20

etcetera,

00:21:21 --> 00:21:22

they're not submitting to Allah

00:21:22 --> 00:21:25

of tuhid. Rather, they're leaving it out, and

00:21:25 --> 00:21:26

they're concentrating on something else.

00:21:28 --> 00:21:29

So this is something that is very important

00:21:29 --> 00:21:31

that is upon the person also to know

00:21:31 --> 00:21:32

very well,

00:21:32 --> 00:21:34

the true meaning of Islam.

00:21:38 --> 00:21:40

And likewise, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in

00:21:40 --> 00:21:40

the Quran,

00:21:47 --> 00:21:49

And who has a better religion?

00:21:53 --> 00:21:55

Submits his faith to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

00:21:56 --> 00:21:57

Meaning, he submits to the

00:21:58 --> 00:22:00

affairs that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has told

00:22:00 --> 00:22:02

him, which is turning back to him with

00:22:02 --> 00:22:02

Tawhid.

00:22:05 --> 00:22:06

You find from this proof

00:22:07 --> 00:22:09

that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has negated

00:22:10 --> 00:22:11

all the other religions

00:22:11 --> 00:22:13

to be a religion that can be accepted.

00:22:15 --> 00:22:17

This is very very clean, this ayah.

00:22:19 --> 00:22:21

And likewise, this deen has been completed and

00:22:21 --> 00:22:24

perfected. It doesn't need another religion to abide

00:22:24 --> 00:22:26

by it or kalalik. You need,

00:22:26 --> 00:22:28

to connect to it or to be like

00:22:28 --> 00:22:28

it.

00:22:30 --> 00:22:31

You find people, they say

00:22:32 --> 00:22:34

they try to get the other religions and

00:22:34 --> 00:22:35

they try to connect with Islam, like the

00:22:35 --> 00:22:38

old one thing. This was reasoning going on

00:22:38 --> 00:22:38

in a

00:22:39 --> 00:22:41

it was being put on the newspaper, etcetera,

00:22:41 --> 00:22:42

that

00:22:43 --> 00:22:43

they were,

00:22:45 --> 00:22:46

the unity of all the religions.

00:22:47 --> 00:22:49

Rather the deen of Islam is calling and

00:22:49 --> 00:22:52

likewise making clear to us that worshiping other

00:22:52 --> 00:22:54

than Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will make you

00:22:54 --> 00:22:56

abide in the hellfire.

00:22:56 --> 00:22:59

So how can it be putting black and

00:22:59 --> 00:23:00

white together? That's impossible.

00:23:03 --> 00:23:04

Can you put black and white together? The

00:23:04 --> 00:23:06

answer is no. You find a very big

00:23:06 --> 00:23:07

difference to this.

00:23:08 --> 00:23:09

And this is how Islam is with the

00:23:09 --> 00:23:10

rest of the religions.

00:23:10 --> 00:23:12

Islam has come in order to fight

00:23:13 --> 00:23:15

the polycism that's taking place.

00:23:16 --> 00:23:18

Most of the Quran is talking about Tawhid.

00:23:18 --> 00:23:19

So how can it be connected to any

00:23:19 --> 00:23:20

other religion

00:23:21 --> 00:23:23

and try to combine all the religions together?

00:23:25 --> 00:23:26

The answer to this is impossible.

00:23:27 --> 00:23:28

Rabbi Allah

00:23:29 --> 00:23:31

has perfected and completed his deen. He doesn't

00:23:31 --> 00:23:33

need anyone to come up with anything

00:23:34 --> 00:23:35

new or trying to

00:23:36 --> 00:23:38

innovate anything inside it.

00:23:41 --> 00:23:41

Allah

00:23:42 --> 00:23:43

mentioned in the Quran,

00:23:50 --> 00:23:51

The day I completed your religion,

00:23:52 --> 00:23:55

and I completed my favor upon you.

00:23:58 --> 00:24:00

And I've chosen Islam to be your religion.

00:24:02 --> 00:24:03

There's a hadith in Bukhary

00:24:05 --> 00:24:06

when a Jewish man

00:24:07 --> 00:24:09

came to Umar ibn Khattab, radiAllahu anhu.

00:24:10 --> 00:24:12

He said there's an eye in your book.

00:24:17 --> 00:24:19

There's a verse in your book that you

00:24:19 --> 00:24:19

read.

00:24:20 --> 00:24:22

If it was to be sent down upon

00:24:22 --> 00:24:22

us,

00:24:23 --> 00:24:24

we would take that day

00:24:24 --> 00:24:27

as a feast, Allah as an Eid.

00:24:31 --> 00:24:33

So we asked him, which day is it?

00:24:33 --> 00:24:34

Or which eye is this?

00:24:35 --> 00:24:36

So we recited to him Allah statement.

00:24:41 --> 00:24:43

The day I completed your religion.

00:24:45 --> 00:24:47

This is what differentiates our religion from the

00:24:47 --> 00:24:48

rest of the religions.

00:24:49 --> 00:24:51

This ayah was not sent down

00:24:52 --> 00:24:53

in the Injeel,

00:24:54 --> 00:24:56

and likewise, the other books.

00:24:59 --> 00:25:01

This religion was meant to come after in

00:25:01 --> 00:25:02

order to complete

00:25:03 --> 00:25:04

every act

00:25:04 --> 00:25:06

of this deen, to perfect this deen.

00:25:07 --> 00:25:08

Because the prophet

00:25:09 --> 00:25:11

was the last person coming. The last messenger,

00:25:11 --> 00:25:12

the last prophet coming.

00:25:13 --> 00:25:15

He was sent down in order to establish

00:25:15 --> 00:25:16

this deal, and likewise,

00:25:17 --> 00:25:18

be of course to complete it.

00:25:22 --> 00:25:23

So this is why

00:25:24 --> 00:25:24

the,

00:25:25 --> 00:25:26

he said this to

00:25:28 --> 00:25:30

because if your religion is complete, it's perfect.

00:25:30 --> 00:25:32

Their religion wasn't like this.

00:25:34 --> 00:25:35

And likewise, they had a lot of,

00:25:36 --> 00:25:39

a lot of envy for the Islam because

00:25:39 --> 00:25:40

of what some of the things they came

00:25:40 --> 00:25:41

with,

00:25:41 --> 00:25:43

and this was one of the main things.

00:25:45 --> 00:25:47

Just like an example, you have something that

00:25:47 --> 00:25:48

is very, very complete,

00:25:49 --> 00:25:51

and this person doesn't. He will always try

00:25:51 --> 00:25:53

to what? He wants to get a thing

00:25:53 --> 00:25:54

to complete

00:25:54 --> 00:25:56

his thing of whatever he has.

00:25:56 --> 00:25:58

This was the same case

00:25:58 --> 00:25:59

there and then.

00:26:15 --> 00:26:17

Taib. The 5th thing or the 5th question

00:26:17 --> 00:26:18

of the sheikh

00:26:18 --> 00:26:20

he asks us is what? When it is

00:26:20 --> 00:26:22

said to you, who is your prophet?

00:26:25 --> 00:26:27

Say my prophet and the prophet of this

00:26:27 --> 00:26:28

entire nation

00:26:28 --> 00:26:29

is Muhammad

00:26:32 --> 00:26:34

The Messenger of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and

00:26:34 --> 00:26:36

the proof is the statement of Allah.

00:26:36 --> 00:26:36

Subhanahu

00:26:41 --> 00:26:41

wa

00:26:44 --> 00:26:44

ta'ala.

00:26:46 --> 00:26:48

Muhammad is not the father of any of

00:26:48 --> 00:26:48

your men,

00:26:49 --> 00:26:51

but he is the messenger of Allah subhanahu

00:26:51 --> 00:26:52

wa ta'ala,

00:26:53 --> 00:26:54

and the seal of the prophets.

00:26:56 --> 00:26:58

And the statement of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,

00:27:13 --> 00:27:13

He is the one

00:27:14 --> 00:27:16

who sent among the unlettered ones

00:27:16 --> 00:27:19

a messenger from themselves reciting

00:27:19 --> 00:27:20

to them his verses

00:27:21 --> 00:27:23

and purifying them and teaching

00:27:24 --> 00:27:26

them the book and the wisdom.

00:27:27 --> 00:27:29

And verily, they have they had been

00:27:29 --> 00:27:31

before in manifest error.

00:27:31 --> 00:27:33

And the statement of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,

00:27:43 --> 00:27:45

So believe in Allah and his messenger, the

00:27:45 --> 00:27:47

prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam, who can

00:27:48 --> 00:27:48

neither

00:27:49 --> 00:27:50

read or write,

00:27:51 --> 00:27:53

who believes in Allah and his words,

00:27:53 --> 00:27:55

and follow him so that you may be

00:27:55 --> 00:27:56

guided.

00:28:00 --> 00:28:00

Okay.

00:28:02 --> 00:28:03

The sheikh now

00:28:04 --> 00:28:05

moves on

00:28:05 --> 00:28:08

to giving on giving us an understanding of

00:28:08 --> 00:28:10

the prophet, sallallahu alaihi wasallam.

00:28:14 --> 00:28:14

Knowledge

00:28:15 --> 00:28:16

is normally three things.

00:28:20 --> 00:28:21

To know Allah

00:28:23 --> 00:28:25

The second thing is to know the Prophet

00:28:25 --> 00:28:26

of Allahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:28:27 --> 00:28:29

The third thing is to know the deen

00:28:29 --> 00:28:31

of Islam with proof.

00:28:32 --> 00:28:33

Whoever studied

00:28:34 --> 00:28:35

before, he'll find this in there,

00:28:36 --> 00:28:37

the definition of ilm.

00:28:38 --> 00:28:40

When the sheikh, Mohammed bin Abdul Wahhabi mentions

00:28:40 --> 00:28:42

it in the start of the book.

00:28:43 --> 00:28:45

The sheikh has started, if you go back

00:28:45 --> 00:28:46

to the star of the book,

00:28:46 --> 00:28:48

speaking to us about Allah

00:28:50 --> 00:28:52

Trying to make us understand who Allah

00:28:53 --> 00:28:54

is, and some of the rights of Allah

00:28:56 --> 00:28:57

Then, he moves on to

00:28:58 --> 00:29:00

giving us an understanding of who the Prophet

00:29:00 --> 00:29:01

is.

00:29:03 --> 00:29:05

First of all, his name was Muhammad ibn

00:29:05 --> 00:29:06

Abdullah.

00:29:07 --> 00:29:09

His first name was Muhammad, and his father's

00:29:09 --> 00:29:10

name was Abdullah.

00:29:12 --> 00:29:14

His mother's name was Amina,

00:29:14 --> 00:29:17

and his granddad's name was Abdul Muttalib.

00:29:18 --> 00:29:20

And he had the uncle called Abu Lahab,

00:29:21 --> 00:29:22

Abu Jahal.

00:29:23 --> 00:29:24

And you find the whole surah that has

00:29:24 --> 00:29:26

been sent down upon him

00:29:27 --> 00:29:29

in the in the end of the Quran.

00:29:30 --> 00:29:32

Muslim, you know this surah.

00:29:32 --> 00:29:34

He was the uncle of the prophet, sallallahu

00:29:34 --> 00:29:35

alaihi wa sallam.

00:29:37 --> 00:29:39

And his best friend was

00:29:39 --> 00:29:41

Abu Bakr radiallahu a'an.

00:29:42 --> 00:29:45

The prophet sallallahu ahi wa sallam lived for

00:29:45 --> 00:29:46

63 years.

00:29:48 --> 00:29:49

He was born in Makkah,

00:29:50 --> 00:29:51

and he died in Madinah.

00:29:54 --> 00:29:57

At the age of 40, he migrated to

00:29:58 --> 00:29:59

Medina,

00:30:00 --> 00:30:03

and this was when he became a prophet.

00:30:04 --> 00:30:05

And he died at the age of 63.

00:30:09 --> 00:30:11

And some things related to the prophet

00:30:12 --> 00:30:13

that he was the final

00:30:13 --> 00:30:15

messenger and the final prophet.

00:30:16 --> 00:30:18

The difference between the prophet and the messenger

00:30:18 --> 00:30:19

is that

00:30:19 --> 00:30:20

the prophet,

00:30:22 --> 00:30:23

sorry that the messenger

00:30:24 --> 00:30:25

has been sent with a message

00:30:27 --> 00:30:30

and not necessarily every prophet has been sent

00:30:30 --> 00:30:30

with a message.

00:30:36 --> 00:30:36

Okay?

00:30:38 --> 00:30:39

And he was both of them. He was

00:30:39 --> 00:30:41

a messenger, likewise a prophet.

00:30:48 --> 00:30:50

And this eye which the sheikh has mentioned

00:30:50 --> 00:30:50

here,

00:30:56 --> 00:30:57

This shows that he was the seal of

00:30:57 --> 00:30:59

the prophets, and no one is coming after

00:30:59 --> 00:31:00

him,

00:31:00 --> 00:31:02

whether it is a prophet or whether it

00:31:02 --> 00:31:03

is a

00:31:03 --> 00:31:04

messenger.

00:31:05 --> 00:31:07

He was the last messenger and the last

00:31:07 --> 00:31:07

prophet.

00:31:09 --> 00:31:10

As for some of the doubts that circulate

00:31:11 --> 00:31:12

within our communities,

00:31:14 --> 00:31:15

and especially in Britain,

00:31:16 --> 00:31:18

you find some people they claim that

00:31:19 --> 00:31:20

there's a messenger

00:31:20 --> 00:31:22

coming after the

00:31:22 --> 00:31:22

prophet

00:31:23 --> 00:31:24

called Ahmed.

00:31:26 --> 00:31:27

This is some of the major

00:31:28 --> 00:31:28

misguidances

00:31:29 --> 00:31:31

that we hear in this

00:31:32 --> 00:31:32

time.

00:31:34 --> 00:31:36

And there's many doubts related to this, and

00:31:36 --> 00:31:38

it could be very, very deceiving.

00:31:39 --> 00:31:41

There's an eye in the Quran where Allah

00:31:41 --> 00:31:42

Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala

00:31:43 --> 00:31:43

quotes

00:32:02 --> 00:32:05

Basically, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala goes, Isa, alaihis

00:32:05 --> 00:32:07

salatu wa salam, and he says, I've come

00:32:07 --> 00:32:08

to you

00:32:08 --> 00:32:10

giving you glad tidings

00:32:12 --> 00:32:14

of a messenger after me

00:32:15 --> 00:32:16

called Ahmed.

00:32:19 --> 00:32:20

This could now could cause a doubt in

00:32:20 --> 00:32:22

the minds of many of the people, and

00:32:22 --> 00:32:24

it's very, very dangerous as well.

00:32:25 --> 00:32:26

Some people here, they claim, and they're very,

00:32:26 --> 00:32:28

very well known as what they call themselves

00:32:29 --> 00:32:31

or they're called Ahmadine or something like that.

00:32:32 --> 00:32:34

They have some masajid in London, and they

00:32:34 --> 00:32:36

have very major masajid, and they get a

00:32:36 --> 00:32:38

lot of funding as well, etcetera.

00:32:39 --> 00:32:42

This is what they believe that prophet sallallahu

00:32:42 --> 00:32:43

alaihi wa sallam,

00:32:43 --> 00:32:46

there's a man coming after him called Ahmed.

00:32:47 --> 00:32:48

And it's not

00:32:49 --> 00:32:51

him. Rather, the belief of is

00:32:52 --> 00:32:53

that what?

00:32:53 --> 00:32:55

From the names of the prophet is

00:32:56 --> 00:32:56

what?

00:32:57 --> 00:33:00

Ahmed. There's a hadith in Bukhali that the

00:33:00 --> 00:33:00

prophet

00:33:01 --> 00:33:02

he said,

00:33:04 --> 00:33:06

I have names.

00:33:07 --> 00:33:08

Then he said, Ana Muhammadun.

00:33:13 --> 00:33:15

He said that I am Mohammed, and I'm

00:33:15 --> 00:33:17

and I am Ahmed,

00:33:18 --> 00:33:20

and I'm also Mahi.

00:33:21 --> 00:33:23

And in another narration he says, * Hashir.

00:33:25 --> 00:33:27

We can understand from this that the prophet,

00:33:27 --> 00:33:29

salallahu alayhi wa sallam, has more than one

00:33:29 --> 00:33:29

name.

00:33:31 --> 00:33:33

And that if you combine the proofs,

00:33:33 --> 00:33:35

you would find that Allah

00:33:36 --> 00:33:38

quotes Isa, and Isa is

00:33:40 --> 00:33:42

trying to talk about who? The prophet salallahu

00:33:42 --> 00:33:44

alaihi wa sallam. Not that, someone else is

00:33:44 --> 00:33:45

coming after him.

00:33:47 --> 00:33:49

And to believe that someone's coming after the

00:33:49 --> 00:33:50

prophet

00:33:50 --> 00:33:52

this is blatant disbelief.

00:33:53 --> 00:33:55

A very dangerous belief,

00:33:55 --> 00:33:56

that a person, if he was to believe

00:33:56 --> 00:33:57

in it

00:33:58 --> 00:33:59

and see it to be true, he could

00:33:59 --> 00:34:02

make him leave the fold of Islam.

00:34:04 --> 00:34:05

This is why these people even though they

00:34:05 --> 00:34:06

say

00:34:07 --> 00:34:08

they haven't

00:34:09 --> 00:34:12

acknowledged and likewise to submit it that the

00:34:12 --> 00:34:14

prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam is the last messenger

00:34:14 --> 00:34:16

and it wasn't enough for them to enter

00:34:16 --> 00:34:17

into Islam.

00:34:18 --> 00:34:20

Rather, this takes them out of Islam.

00:34:20 --> 00:34:22

Those that entered upon it, then after not

00:34:22 --> 00:34:23

having these beliefs.

00:34:25 --> 00:34:27

So this is very, very dangerous,

00:34:27 --> 00:34:29

and likewise from the Shubahad,

00:34:29 --> 00:34:31

that you find a lot of people being

00:34:31 --> 00:34:31

misled.

00:34:32 --> 00:34:34

Believing there's a man coming after the prophet

00:34:34 --> 00:34:36

sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, and they use that

00:34:36 --> 00:34:37

aya,

00:34:37 --> 00:34:39

which is in Surat Asaf,

00:34:39 --> 00:34:40

as a proof.

00:34:42 --> 00:34:44

And likewise, we have another hadith, which is

00:34:44 --> 00:34:45

narrated by Tirmidi.

00:34:46 --> 00:34:46

The prophet

00:34:49 --> 00:34:50

said,

00:34:52 --> 00:34:55

There's no prophet after me and no messenger.

00:34:58 --> 00:34:58

So,

00:34:59 --> 00:35:00

some of the people

00:35:00 --> 00:35:02

or some of the companions, they felt a

00:35:02 --> 00:35:03

bit of hardship.

00:35:04 --> 00:35:04

So the prophet

00:35:05 --> 00:35:06

he said,

00:35:08 --> 00:35:09

except for glad tidings.

00:35:11 --> 00:35:12

So he was asked, why are these glad

00:35:12 --> 00:35:13

tidings?

00:35:13 --> 00:35:14

He goes,

00:35:15 --> 00:35:16

having a righteous dream.

00:35:17 --> 00:35:19

Sometimes you find Allah

00:35:19 --> 00:35:22

shows you some things in the dream, and

00:35:22 --> 00:35:23

then it takes place.

00:35:23 --> 00:35:25

These are things of glad tidings.

00:35:26 --> 00:35:27

That comes from Allah subhanahu

00:35:27 --> 00:35:28

wa ta'ala.

00:35:29 --> 00:35:31

And the same time you can get a

00:35:31 --> 00:35:34

you can get a dream which is from

00:35:34 --> 00:35:34

the Shaitan.

00:35:35 --> 00:35:37

The dreams are 3. 1 which is righteous,

00:35:37 --> 00:35:38

which is from

00:35:38 --> 00:35:40

Allah and the second is the which is

00:35:40 --> 00:35:43

from Shaitan. And the third thing is what?

00:35:43 --> 00:35:46

It's Hadith and nafs. For example, now before

00:35:46 --> 00:35:47

you go to sleep, you're speaking to yourself

00:35:47 --> 00:35:48

about

00:35:48 --> 00:35:49

having a merryland tomorrow,

00:35:51 --> 00:35:52

Then you find yourself in the dream

00:35:53 --> 00:35:55

eating merryland or something like this.

00:35:56 --> 00:35:57

This is just,

00:35:57 --> 00:35:59

the part of the hadith enough.

00:36:00 --> 00:36:02

You find this, it happens a lot.

00:36:02 --> 00:36:04

Okay? Before he goes to sleep, he's thinking

00:36:04 --> 00:36:06

about something then. He sees inside the dream.

00:36:07 --> 00:36:08

Okay?

00:36:10 --> 00:36:12

The point I mentioned is hadith is that

00:36:12 --> 00:36:12

what?

00:36:12 --> 00:36:13

That in the prophet

00:36:14 --> 00:36:16

said there's no messenger clearly,

00:36:17 --> 00:36:19

and there's no prophet after me.

00:36:21 --> 00:36:22

The reason why I thought it was essential

00:36:22 --> 00:36:24

to mention this today why,

00:36:25 --> 00:36:27

my cousin who lives in London, he's in

00:36:27 --> 00:36:29

charge of one of the universities there.

00:36:30 --> 00:36:32

And a person like this comes up to

00:36:32 --> 00:36:34

him all the time. Try to give him

00:36:34 --> 00:36:36

a few a few doubts, and no one

00:36:36 --> 00:36:37

can answer it.

00:36:37 --> 00:36:39

Because people there, they're very, very involved inside

00:36:39 --> 00:36:42

the uni. They don't have much knowledge, and

00:36:42 --> 00:36:43

you find people, they're trying to drag you

00:36:43 --> 00:36:45

to the fiqhir.

00:36:45 --> 00:36:47

So this person, what he's trying to do,

00:36:47 --> 00:36:48

he's trying to grab him, because why he's

00:36:48 --> 00:36:49

in charge of the what do they call

00:36:49 --> 00:36:53

the union, the society union? He's in charge

00:36:53 --> 00:36:55

of it. He's trying to pull him so

00:36:55 --> 00:36:57

everyone else follows as well. And one of

00:36:57 --> 00:36:59

the things that he mentioned to him is

00:36:59 --> 00:36:59

this,

00:36:59 --> 00:37:02

that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says this, everyday

00:37:02 --> 00:37:04

you are telling us, we say hala Allah,

00:37:04 --> 00:37:05

we say Allah says, and the prophet

00:37:06 --> 00:37:08

says, and now you're not taking this.

00:37:09 --> 00:37:11

So it really really confused him,

00:37:11 --> 00:37:13

and really affected him as well.

00:37:14 --> 00:37:15

But alhamdulillah,

00:37:15 --> 00:37:18

once you study more knowledge and you carry

00:37:18 --> 00:37:19

on learning the din of Allah subhanahu wa

00:37:19 --> 00:37:22

ta'ala, all these things become very very clear.

00:37:28 --> 00:37:30

And also which is very very important related

00:37:30 --> 00:37:32

to this issue that the prophet

00:37:33 --> 00:37:35

was sent to all the people.

00:37:36 --> 00:37:38

Some people claim it was only sent to

00:37:38 --> 00:37:39

the Arabs,

00:37:40 --> 00:37:42

which is gonna come, I think, after a

00:37:42 --> 00:37:42

few lessons.

00:37:44 --> 00:37:45

Nam, it's going to come also after a

00:37:45 --> 00:37:48

few lessons. The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was

00:37:48 --> 00:37:50

sent to all the people. This is a

00:37:50 --> 00:37:52

belief that you have to believe as well.

00:37:52 --> 00:37:54

Not only to a certain people,

00:37:54 --> 00:37:56

rather to all of mankind, whether it is

00:37:56 --> 00:37:58

Jin and also hints.

00:37:59 --> 00:38:01

This was one of the things that the

00:38:01 --> 00:38:01

prophet

00:38:02 --> 00:38:03

was given specifically.

00:38:05 --> 00:38:07

There's a hadith in Bukhari on the authority

00:38:07 --> 00:38:07

of Jabeel.

00:38:08 --> 00:38:08

That the prophet

00:38:09 --> 00:38:10

said,

00:38:13 --> 00:38:15

I have been given 5 things.

00:38:15 --> 00:38:16

No

00:38:16 --> 00:38:19

other person has been given this before me.

00:38:19 --> 00:38:21

And one of the things was

00:38:26 --> 00:38:28

The prophets before him

00:38:28 --> 00:38:30

used to be sent to the people specifically.

00:38:31 --> 00:38:34

For example, Musa Alaihi Salam was what? Sent

00:38:34 --> 00:38:35

to his people.

00:38:36 --> 00:38:37

That's why

00:38:39 --> 00:38:39

Khidr

00:38:40 --> 00:38:41

wasn't

00:38:43 --> 00:38:45

prescribed upon him to follow Musa, alaihi, salatu,

00:38:45 --> 00:38:47

alaihi, salam, because he wasn't from his people.

00:38:49 --> 00:38:50

Okay? As for the prophet

00:38:52 --> 00:38:53

at his time, it was upon

00:38:53 --> 00:38:54

every single person

00:38:55 --> 00:38:57

to follow him. This was the difference between

00:38:57 --> 00:38:58

the prophet and

00:38:58 --> 00:39:01

the rest of the messengers and prophets.

00:39:06 --> 00:39:09

And inshallah, we conclude with this last one.

00:39:11 --> 00:39:12

And we shed some light on it

00:39:13 --> 00:39:15

last week, or, 2 weeks ago as well,

00:39:16 --> 00:39:18

when we mentioned that the

00:39:19 --> 00:39:21

One of the reasons why the sheikh started

00:39:21 --> 00:39:23

the book was, the book with, Tawhid

00:39:25 --> 00:39:26

was because what?

00:39:26 --> 00:39:28

This is what the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa

00:39:28 --> 00:39:30

sallam and the prophets before him did.

00:39:31 --> 00:39:33

And we're gonna see a hadith now,

00:39:33 --> 00:39:34

when the prophet

00:39:36 --> 00:39:37

sent one of the companions

00:39:39 --> 00:39:40

to go give dawah.

00:39:41 --> 00:39:43

The first thing he told him to start

00:39:43 --> 00:39:44

with will be stuhid.

00:39:45 --> 00:39:48

Okay. Number 6, when it is said to

00:39:48 --> 00:39:50

you, what is the first obligation upon the

00:39:50 --> 00:39:52

slave of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala?

00:39:53 --> 00:39:53

Say,

00:39:54 --> 00:39:55

learning the tawheed of Allah,

00:39:58 --> 00:40:00

and the proof is the hadith of that

00:40:02 --> 00:40:04

he said when the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam

00:40:04 --> 00:40:05

dispatched Mu'ad

00:40:05 --> 00:40:08

ibn Jabal to Yemen, he said to him,

00:40:08 --> 00:40:10

indeed you will be going to a group

00:40:10 --> 00:40:10

of people

00:40:11 --> 00:40:13

from the people of the book.

00:40:14 --> 00:40:16

So let it be the first thing that

00:40:16 --> 00:40:18

you call them to that they worship Allah

00:40:18 --> 00:40:19

Subhanahu

00:40:19 --> 00:40:20

Wa Ta'ala.

00:40:22 --> 00:40:24

Transmitted by Al Bukhari Muslim.

00:40:24 --> 00:40:26

And this is the wording of Bukhari.

00:40:28 --> 00:40:29

Here we find

00:40:29 --> 00:40:32

a very, very clear path and way

00:40:32 --> 00:40:34

of how to give dawah, of what to

00:40:34 --> 00:40:36

start with when we learn our deen.

00:40:37 --> 00:40:38

And, I mentioned a lot of these things

00:40:38 --> 00:40:39

last week as well, but there's some new

00:40:39 --> 00:40:41

faces here, I'll repeat some of the things.

00:40:45 --> 00:40:46

The reason why

00:40:48 --> 00:40:50

you have to start with Tawhid and why

00:40:50 --> 00:40:51

it is so essential is that,

00:40:53 --> 00:40:54

if you have no Tawhid,

00:40:55 --> 00:40:56

and you are the biggest faqih in the

00:40:56 --> 00:40:57

world

00:40:58 --> 00:41:00

or the biggest learner of fiqh.

00:41:00 --> 00:41:02

For example, now you know all the hkam,

00:41:05 --> 00:41:08

fasting, praying, zakat, everything else,

00:41:08 --> 00:41:10

and you have no to eat, this thing

00:41:10 --> 00:41:12

will not benefit you.

00:41:13 --> 00:41:15

It's like a person now, he prays the

00:41:15 --> 00:41:16

5 daily prayers.

00:41:16 --> 00:41:19

Then he goes to Fulan's grave and starts

00:41:19 --> 00:41:22

making dua to him, or asking him to

00:41:22 --> 00:41:23

give him things,

00:41:23 --> 00:41:25

or to disperse some affairs for him.

00:41:26 --> 00:41:28

This person now,

00:41:28 --> 00:41:30

his salah hasn't benefited him. Why? Because he's

00:41:30 --> 00:41:31

committing shirk.

00:41:32 --> 00:41:34

This is why establishing the Tawhid is very

00:41:34 --> 00:41:35

very important. And

00:41:38 --> 00:41:40

and not a prophet except that he started

00:41:40 --> 00:41:42

his Dawah with what?

00:41:42 --> 00:41:42

This

00:41:43 --> 00:41:45

is the first thing they call these people

00:41:45 --> 00:41:46

to,

00:41:46 --> 00:41:47

was to establish the Tawhid.

00:41:53 --> 00:41:55

And we dispatch in every

00:41:57 --> 00:41:58

a messenger.

00:41:59 --> 00:42:00

For

00:42:02 --> 00:42:04

him to call the people to worship in

00:42:04 --> 00:42:04

Allah

00:42:05 --> 00:42:07

and to stay away from the false deities,

00:42:07 --> 00:42:07

the

00:42:08 --> 00:42:10

This was the first thing that all the

00:42:10 --> 00:42:10

prophets,

00:42:11 --> 00:42:13

and likewise the messengers, they called the people

00:42:13 --> 00:42:14

to.

00:42:15 --> 00:42:16

And likewise the prophet,

00:42:16 --> 00:42:18

how many years was he calling to?

00:42:19 --> 00:42:20

Many, many years.

00:42:21 --> 00:42:23

He's going out in the shop, going out

00:42:23 --> 00:42:24

in the market saying,

00:42:27 --> 00:42:29

was working on this for very, very long

00:42:29 --> 00:42:30

periods of his life.

00:42:31 --> 00:42:33

Then when they accepted the Tawhid, this is

00:42:33 --> 00:42:34

when he went into what? The

00:42:35 --> 00:42:36

salat,

00:42:37 --> 00:42:38

and how to do this, how to pay

00:42:38 --> 00:42:39

the zakat.

00:42:40 --> 00:42:40

Okay?

00:42:41 --> 00:42:42

This is what the prophet

00:42:43 --> 00:42:46

did, and this was the way he called

00:42:46 --> 00:42:47

the people to.

00:42:48 --> 00:42:49

And I think that's enough, inshallah.

00:42:50 --> 00:42:52

If anyone has any question related to what

00:42:52 --> 00:42:53

we took today,

00:42:55 --> 00:42:57

he's more than welcome to

00:42:57 --> 00:42:58

discuss, Inshallah.

00:43:17 --> 00:43:17

The

00:43:19 --> 00:43:20

on the authority

00:43:23 --> 00:43:25

of Okay. The first chapter is

00:43:27 --> 00:43:28

then after it is.

00:43:29 --> 00:43:30

Okay?

00:43:31 --> 00:43:34

And also what I meant by that, the

00:43:34 --> 00:43:35

hadith is very very important,

00:43:35 --> 00:43:38

and Ibn Munir, he mentions this in one

00:43:38 --> 00:43:38

of his books,

00:43:39 --> 00:43:41

that how many people have we seen?

00:43:42 --> 00:43:43

They are very very

00:43:44 --> 00:43:45

over exaggerative,

00:43:46 --> 00:43:48

and likewise, very, very extreme in the deen.

00:43:49 --> 00:43:52

And not the time except they what? They

00:43:52 --> 00:43:53

stopped doing the acts.

00:43:54 --> 00:43:56

For example, you find a person who's trying

00:43:56 --> 00:43:57

to pray

00:43:57 --> 00:43:58

all night,

00:43:59 --> 00:43:59

doing it.

00:44:00 --> 00:44:03

I'm not saying shouldn't do it. Okay? But

00:44:03 --> 00:44:04

obviously, you start

00:44:04 --> 00:44:05

with something small.

00:44:06 --> 00:44:08

And then likewise, build on that. And this

00:44:08 --> 00:44:09

is what

00:44:09 --> 00:44:10

mentioned as well.

00:44:10 --> 00:44:12

Because if you put so much pressure on

00:44:12 --> 00:44:13

yourself and so much

00:44:14 --> 00:44:15

load upon yourself,

00:44:15 --> 00:44:16

there's only a matter of time where you're

00:44:16 --> 00:44:18

gonna stop and not do it. Okay?

00:44:19 --> 00:44:22

And this is why the most continuous action

00:44:22 --> 00:44:24

is most beloved to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

00:44:24 --> 00:44:26

Imam Bukhari chapters in his book,

00:44:32 --> 00:44:34

The most beloved

00:44:34 --> 00:44:35

action to Allah

00:44:36 --> 00:44:36

is what?

00:44:37 --> 00:44:38

The consistent one.

00:44:39 --> 00:44:41

And likewise, he mentions then the Hadith of

00:44:41 --> 00:44:41

Aisha

00:44:48 --> 00:44:50

And the most beloved action to Allah

00:44:52 --> 00:44:54

was the continuous action of this person.

00:44:56 --> 00:44:56

Okay?

00:44:57 --> 00:44:59

You find people, they stress themselves out so

00:44:59 --> 00:44:59

much,

00:45:00 --> 00:45:02

and because of him trying to establish the

00:45:02 --> 00:45:03

superrogatory

00:45:03 --> 00:45:03

acts,

00:45:04 --> 00:45:06

he becomes deficient in his what?

00:45:06 --> 00:45:09

Obligatory acts. For example, now a person is

00:45:09 --> 00:45:09

praying all night,

00:45:10 --> 00:45:12

then he goes to sleep some part of

00:45:12 --> 00:45:13

the night, and he messes his prayer.

00:45:15 --> 00:45:16

Is this not something that is,

00:45:18 --> 00:45:18

suitable?

00:45:18 --> 00:45:21

The answer is no. Because why? He's leaving

00:45:21 --> 00:45:22

off what is president.

00:45:23 --> 00:45:23

Okay?

00:45:24 --> 00:45:26

What? He has to give more presidents in.

00:45:26 --> 00:45:27

He's trying to do something else, and he's

00:45:27 --> 00:45:28

leaving off his.

00:45:29 --> 00:45:31

Okay? That's why a person should always try

00:45:31 --> 00:45:35

to start very, very little, and likewise, build

00:45:35 --> 00:45:35

on it.

00:45:36 --> 00:45:38

Otherwise, he's gonna stress himself out, put so

00:45:38 --> 00:45:39

much load on him, and he won't be

00:45:39 --> 00:45:41

able to carry on.

00:45:41 --> 00:45:42

K?

00:45:47 --> 00:45:47

Okay.

00:45:55 --> 00:45:57

Submitting to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala

00:46:00 --> 00:46:02

and turning to him with the obedience and,

00:46:04 --> 00:46:05

freeing yourself from shirk

00:46:07 --> 00:46:07

and his people.

00:46:11 --> 00:46:13

And this is the statement of Allah Subhanahu

00:46:13 --> 00:46:13

Wa Ta'ala.

00:46:16 --> 00:46:18

You have a perfect example

00:46:18 --> 00:46:20

in Ibrahim alayhi salatu wa sallam.

00:46:28 --> 00:46:30

I am free from you

00:46:30 --> 00:46:32

and what you worship besides Allah

00:46:33 --> 00:46:34

Not only did he say I'm no mushrik,

00:46:34 --> 00:46:37

and likewise he freed himself from shirk.

00:46:38 --> 00:46:40

And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said you have

00:46:40 --> 00:46:42

a perfect example in Ibrahim.

00:46:54 --> 00:46:56

No. The basically, this is from the

00:46:57 --> 00:46:59

Okay? It's from the signs of the hour

00:46:59 --> 00:47:00

which will happen in the end of the

00:47:00 --> 00:47:03

time. But even him, when he comes down,

00:47:03 --> 00:47:05

he's gonna be following the prophet sallallahu alaihi

00:47:05 --> 00:47:05

wa sallam.

00:47:06 --> 00:47:07

It's not like a prophet is going to

00:47:07 --> 00:47:09

come after that, and we're gonna be told

00:47:09 --> 00:47:11

to follow him and become the new messenger.

00:47:12 --> 00:47:14

Okay? And also there's a hadith. I can't

00:47:14 --> 00:47:16

remember the hadith now. That the prophet

00:47:16 --> 00:47:17

said, had he been alive?

00:47:18 --> 00:47:18

Okay?

00:47:19 --> 00:47:21

Or on when he comes down, I know

00:47:21 --> 00:47:22

I don't remember exactly.

00:47:23 --> 00:47:24

When he comes down, he'll be following the

00:47:24 --> 00:47:26

prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. InshaAllah, I try

00:47:26 --> 00:47:27

to get the reference. If any of you

00:47:27 --> 00:47:28

know the hadith.

00:47:40 --> 00:47:41

The prophet

00:47:42 --> 00:47:42

now.

00:47:45 --> 00:47:47

Yeah, likewise. Yeah. Yeah.

00:47:48 --> 00:47:48

Yeah. Yeah.

00:47:51 --> 00:47:53

Yeah. And likewise, it's going to be, establishing

00:47:53 --> 00:47:55

the deen of Islam, not the deen of,

00:47:55 --> 00:47:56

you know, Al

00:47:57 --> 00:47:57

Masih.

00:48:06 --> 00:48:08

We call it the. And is from the

00:48:08 --> 00:48:10

shaitan. Yeah. Okay.

00:48:10 --> 00:48:13

What does it mean that the Mohammed is

00:48:13 --> 00:48:15

not a father of any of you?

00:48:15 --> 00:48:16

Okay.

00:48:17 --> 00:48:17

If you go back to,

00:48:19 --> 00:48:19

okay,

00:48:20 --> 00:48:21

when

00:48:22 --> 00:48:23

from what I remember, I looked at it

00:48:23 --> 00:48:24

a few days ago.

00:48:25 --> 00:48:27

Actually, it was maybe a few months ago,

00:48:27 --> 00:48:29

but you find inside the under the aya,

00:48:29 --> 00:48:30

that

00:48:30 --> 00:48:31

when one of the

00:48:32 --> 00:48:33

sons of the prophet

00:48:34 --> 00:48:34

died,

00:48:34 --> 00:48:35

okay?

00:48:36 --> 00:48:37

Then this eye came down.

00:48:37 --> 00:48:38

Okay?

00:48:39 --> 00:48:41

And it was the last time when the

00:48:41 --> 00:48:41

prophet

00:48:42 --> 00:48:43

was called Muhammad ibnafulan.

00:48:52 --> 00:48:54

The need to go over again, inshallah.

00:49:32 --> 00:49:33

From India.

00:49:35 --> 00:49:37

And he he stated, may the curse of

00:49:37 --> 00:49:39

Allah be upon the liar.

00:49:40 --> 00:49:42

Once they had the debate,

00:49:42 --> 00:49:44

they went to look for him,

00:49:44 --> 00:49:46

this Ahmadi as they so called.

00:49:46 --> 00:49:47

And they

00:49:48 --> 00:49:48

found him

00:50:14 --> 00:50:15

him. Mhmm. Basically,

00:50:15 --> 00:50:18

the argument is anybody who's at Amedy, you

00:50:18 --> 00:50:20

just ask him where was he buried, and

00:50:21 --> 00:50:23

you realize that Where was he buried? He

00:50:23 --> 00:50:24

had to be buried at the spot because

00:50:24 --> 00:50:26

he was not able to,

00:50:27 --> 00:50:29

bring him out to Oh, okay. Yeah.

00:50:40 --> 00:50:42

Okay. Like I mentioned earlier as well, that

00:50:42 --> 00:50:43

for example, without Tawhid,

00:50:44 --> 00:50:47

your and likewise, your our affairs is not

00:50:47 --> 00:50:48

gonna benefit you.

00:50:48 --> 00:50:50

And this was like the tariqah.

00:50:50 --> 00:50:52

This was like the way of the prophets

00:50:52 --> 00:50:55

before us, and likewise, the Sahaba.

00:50:55 --> 00:50:57

Okay? When they used to call the people

00:50:57 --> 00:51:00

to Islam, the first thing they started was

00:51:00 --> 00:51:00

Tawhid.

00:51:01 --> 00:51:03

Because once you establish the Tawhid and you

00:51:03 --> 00:51:05

accept Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala as your Lord

00:51:05 --> 00:51:06

and you don't

00:51:06 --> 00:51:08

make any partners with him,

00:51:09 --> 00:51:11

then this is your basis. And with everything

00:51:11 --> 00:51:14

else, you just go on with it like

00:51:15 --> 00:51:16

that. Okay? And likewise, you have the hadith

00:51:16 --> 00:51:18

here of Ma'ad when he went to give

00:51:18 --> 00:51:19

the dawah. The first thing he started with

00:51:19 --> 00:51:20

was

00:51:20 --> 00:51:21

with tawhid.

00:51:29 --> 00:51:29

Okay?

00:51:32 --> 00:51:34

And if you thank Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,

00:51:34 --> 00:51:36

he will increase you. There's an hadith,

00:51:36 --> 00:51:37

the prophet

00:51:38 --> 00:51:38

he said

00:51:39 --> 00:51:40

that if a person wants to thank Allah

00:51:40 --> 00:51:42

subhanahu wa ta'ala, he gives a say to

00:51:42 --> 00:51:43

the shukor.

00:51:43 --> 00:51:46

Okay? So he prostrates and he prostrates.

00:51:47 --> 00:51:48

Okay? And thanks to Allah.

00:51:49 --> 00:51:50

Okay? Inshallah,

00:51:50 --> 00:51:52

we include the lesson of that.
