liking. This is what the dunya is all about. This is what this life is all about. We ask Allah subhana wa Taala to make it easy for us. In the tests that he has chosen for us, every person has his or her own unique tests chosen by Allah subhanho wa Taala to keep them occupied, either in the remembrance of Allah and being closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala or making them occupied in distress and depression and turning further away from Allah subhanho wa Taala. Similarly, if you were to give out a charity before making, it would hold greater value your heart and your
supplication would hold greater value because you just did a good deed. In sharp no problem? No. Why? Because of their attitude. But if someone comes to you says I need $1 you're not giving it to me. It really might be bad. Continue making dua and having hope. That's how we started this lesson. We said continue, having hope in the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala no matter what.
So there came a time and this is depicted in verse number 13, where Allah subhanho wa Taala says, Well, if you're not going to give out that, then Allah has forgiven you, at least what you should do is establish your prayer give you a sucker obey Allah and His messenger and inshallah Allah is aware of everything that you do. Have you not considered those who make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to untruth, while they know they are lying. So Allah subhanho wa Taala is warning us in general, the lesson obviously is derived for every one of us, although the verses were connected to the hypocrites of the time.
And the kuffar of the time, were those who silently befriended the others, you know, when you choose your friends, be careful who they are. One is an acquaintance and the other is a bosom buddy, a friend. So if you may know people with bad habits, you know that they are acquainted to you, meaning you do, they are an acquaintance.
But you don't make them your friends and you don't allow them within a certain proximity you don't because why they're not fit their character conduct perhaps is not good enough. Really, you need to exercise restraint. You need to protect yourself, don't think because I'm a Muslim, I need to be good and kind to everyone to the degree that I allow them into my home and I'm allowed into their home. And they used to make false promises to say no, we're not with them. But these were true hypocrites. May Allah protect us from being hypocrites

So Allah says, look, those who make allies of people with whom allies already angry allies angry with them, they are disregarding the law of Allah completely. Someone was asking me the other day that you know, there's a wedding of someone. And I was shocked. Actually, I was totally shocked. There's a wedding, somebody has a wedding overseas muslimeen, and they serving alcohol, because there's a lot of non Muslim guests.
Guests, they serving alcohol, they buying whatever champagne and cognac and whatever else is there. Allah forgive us. So are we allowed to go?
So I asked him a simple question. Tell them if they supply drugs for the youngsters on drugs. They better get some weed
and have it in one corner of the tent.
So the guy started laughing. He says, Come on, be serious. I said, I'm being serious. How can you ask me a question muslimeen, celebrating half of a man by distributing

And I know of non Muslims, who would not mind sending their children to Muslim homes and Muslim functions suddenly, because they know the child is going to come back sober. That's all. That's all. So people say how can they attend our functions? We
don't attend this. It's not going to do with who attends whose function he's going to do with what is in that function? What's going on there? If there's something unacceptable? How on earth could you be a participant? And if they participate in your function, it's because it is acceptable according to their norms. And believe me, some of their standards are higher than ours, in certain homes.
May Allah forgive us? May Allah strengthen us. So Allah says, Look at those who have made allies out of a people whom Allah has become angry with, they are neither of you know of them, meaning they neither this side know that side. They are on the fence.
And they will swear to untruth while they know they were lying. So one of the qualities of the hypocrites is that they lie under oath, they tell a lie.
May Allah forgive us.
Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment indeed it was evil that they were doing now let's stop there for a minute. That was verse number 15, verse number 14, we just heard that Allah is admonishing those who will be friending others whom the anger of Allah is directed towards, so just by befriending them, Allah says, You deserve a punishment.
By having the wrong friends, you know what type of punishment a person gets in this world to start with, they become bad in terms of their habits, their character they conduct the way they think. Trust me, I was sitting and considering how people's thinking has been changed, comparing, you know, the questions that are being asked to the scholars of Islam over the years and how they are changing. I believe it is closely connected to Hollywood as well. And to Bollywood to very closely connected. Do you know why they've been bombarding you for the last 4050 years bombarding you with movies, every movie has some powerful undertones, which you don't even realize it takes away from

never will their wealth or their children, avail them against a law at all. No matter how much money you have, no matter how many children you have, no matter how powerful those children are, no matter how old they are, or you own it will never ever help against Allah. Not at all. You want to make peace with Allah, you've got to make it now. You've got to seek Allah's forgiveness.
Imagine Allah is using this as a warning. He says money is not going to come to your aid children, not going to come to your aid. So what is going to come to my aid your link with Allah direct, directly?

Allah knows best but we all know Ally's most merciful, he will treat people with his mercy according to his wish, according to His divine desire, that Allah He does what he wishes.
Then Allah says, on the day, Allah will resurrect them all and they will swear to him the same way they swore to you and think that they are standing on something unquestionably. It is they who are the liars.
a hypocrite might get away in this world by lying, or by taking a false oath, but not in front of Allah. So Allah says, Those who used to lie here, they're going to try to lie to us as well. But they will be caught out. Because we know that
when you have a habit here in the world, you might end up becoming deprived of goodness, because of the same bad habit that might
surface in the hereafter. So you have a habit of lying for one lie and you're telling a lie.
You take an oath, I swear, you're telling a lie, open, blatant, clean, complete. If that's a habit, and if that's become your norm or the norm of a person, then it's very dangerous. Why? Because on the Day of Judgment, Allah says they will try to lie in the same way. But they will be caught out. Look what they say.
On the day, Allah will resurrect them all and they will swear to him as they swore to you and think that they are standing on something, unquestionably It is day one, Elias, Allahu Akbar, Satan has overcome them, and made them forget the remembrance of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Satan has overcome them and made them forget the remembrance of Allah subhanho wa Taala.
Those are the party of the devil. unquestionably, the party of Satan will be the losers, his bush shape and his means the party of a shaytan means the devil. That's the party of the devil. Allah subhanho wa Taala as well, no matter who you see they are also beloved to Allah. Allah created them as a test for you, how are you going to treat them?
So let's ask Allah. May Allah never ever make us from the party of the devil. I mean,
indeed the ones who oppose Allah and His Messenger, those will be amongst
the most humiliated.

Kindness is one thing, but obedience, in the disobedience of Allah is something a Muslim should not engage in to obey someone while disobeying Allah. you've got to say, I will go to the shop and I'll buy you everything but not bacon, Allahu Akbar, why it's in transgression of Allah. Allah has command and instruction. So you can go and buy them. those who believe in Allah, so those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, they will not
have affection in their hearts for those who have opposed Allah transgressed against in the sense that they have defied they have picked on a war, people are at war with Allah and you are their best friend.
