disbelievers, and they were forced to go back home and that made it a victory for the Muslims. Now
this battle has two popular names. The first popular name is the Battle of the trench because of the
train station around Medina. The second popular name is the Battle of zap. What does that means? It
means the Alliance right so because there was it wasn't just the courage, the courage had allied
with many other tribes who wanted to wipe out the Muslims. And so it was an observe it was the
		

			alliance of disbelievers who had gathered around Medina. So this surah was revealed after the Battle
of Allah Himself to list some of the lessons we could take from this battle. But the other important
themes in the sutra as well to other themes that run through our show to observe, number one, the
status of the wife of a frugal lifestyle, Allahu alayhi wa sallam, and number two, the status of
Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam himself, many verses in the surah, about the wife of
Rasulullah sallallahu, I think he was, in fact, the title that we call them by Omaha to meaning the
mothers of the believers. This title is actually taken from the
		

			very beginning of the surah. Allah refers to the wives of Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam as well as

commands to them. They were meant only for them and not for everybody else. And then they are verses

qualities of a true believer, but in this specific set of verses, he mentions the male to do it and
the female to do it, Allah will give them their reward. This verse was revealed, because one of the

will have the rewards with a wash your hand with Allah. So this verse was revealed because of a
question asked by the wife of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam to deal with the three main
