Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most Merciful. I'd like to welcome your dear viewers to another in the series pearls of the prophets of salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa cattle. Allah Peace and blessings. We are each and every one of you.

00:00:19--> 00:00:25

In today's segment, we'll be looking at the prophetic advice with regards to our faith.

00:00:26--> 00:00:30

What is the best aspects of it? What are the best aspects of

00:00:33--> 00:00:42

ADSR and Amir even Alessi quoted Allah messengers suddenly long wanna send them a thing

00:00:43--> 00:00:49

of them, he many of those in any afebrile what's

00:00:51--> 00:00:56

the best aspect of faith is patience and tolerant.

00:01:02--> 00:01:04

face has many aspects to it

00:01:07--> 00:01:15

is expressed in our relationship to God in our relationship to other human beings and our relationship to the world, the community in which we live.

00:01:18--> 00:01:22

What the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, addresses here

00:01:23--> 00:01:26

is the aspect related to patient

00:01:27--> 00:01:34

and that we needed to tolerate that these two are key aspects of the

00:01:36--> 00:01:42

patient. Why? Because it is one of the keys for success in this life.

00:01:44--> 00:01:45

As I said,

00:01:47--> 00:01:51

in the inside and all of mankind is in a state of loss

00:01:52--> 00:02:03

in our lives in our heads, except for those who believe in do you actually feel that the loss Ogun hochland loss will be severed, who advise each other to be truthful, and to be patient.

00:02:04--> 00:02:07

Patients that he was

00:02:11--> 00:02:25

time to the ages throughout time from the past to the future. This is the state of mankind in life, except those who are patient, patient, we advise each other to be patient.

00:02:27--> 00:02:29

Because our lives, our lives of tests

00:02:31--> 00:02:34

were created in a world of struggle.

00:02:37--> 00:02:39

And we tend to be hasty and impatient

00:02:41--> 00:02:44

and unable to see the text.

00:02:46--> 00:02:49

So we advise to be patient

00:02:50--> 00:02:58

to allow ourselves a chance to perceive what is going on, about to understand the calamities which befall us.

00:02:59--> 00:03:02

And recognize, I realized told us

00:03:03--> 00:03:08

that we don't know where the good and evil lies in this life.

00:03:09--> 00:03:22

Ultimately, there are certain things which are clearly good and clearly evil. But in terms of the things which we desire, we seek in our personal life, the good and the evil if we don't know.

00:03:24--> 00:03:29

This is why as I said, a person may love something which is evil.

00:03:30--> 00:03:32

Or they may hate something which is good.

00:03:34--> 00:03:36

I know we don't know.

00:03:38--> 00:03:40

So we have to be patient,

00:03:42--> 00:03:46

what Allah has ordained and destined for us, we have to be patient with

00:03:48--> 00:03:54

where we can make changes within the bounds of the teachings of Islam.

00:03:56--> 00:03:57

Outside to me,

00:03:58--> 00:04:03

what a lot of permits, we must accept, patiently accept,

00:04:04--> 00:04:09

not just accept, because we have no other choices. But occasionally accept

00:04:12--> 00:04:34

as in the case, the Prophet Muhammad may God's peace that you're planning talks by a woman who was screaming and wailing and beating her chest and carrying on and he told the woman control yourself. And the woman said to him very upset. She didn't know he was very upset. So you know, boy from the you don't know what I have gone through.

00:04:35--> 00:04:46

She had lost a child or relative unlimited recall. It was exactly but somebody had died. And she was just moved to this fashion to screaming and look, of course it's not a part of

00:04:48--> 00:04:50

her reaction, you know,

00:04:51--> 00:04:53

get away from me you don't know what I'm going through.

00:04:54--> 00:04:59

She was then told after the Prophet walked away, they got dismissed. So then told us

00:05:00--> 00:05:31

With the profit and loss, shocked, she didn't know. So she added to the profit and solvents, already sorry, oh messenger of Allah, you know I will take your advice I will be patient, you know I have control myself I stopped self, the prophet may god disagree upon in terms of her, saying, that patience is at the time of the calamity, this is an observation is rewarded, through patience takes place, at the time of the calamity, not after, did easy to look back in retrospect.

00:05:32--> 00:05:41

But at the time when we're faced with a calamity, this the problem if we are patient with it, we don't react, take illegitimate leads to solve it.

00:05:43--> 00:05:46

Then, we are rewarded for the trial.

00:05:48--> 00:05:58

We know what the puppet monk said when he was asked, Where among mankind face the most difficulty, or messenger Allah funded say, the prophets,

00:05:59--> 00:06:01

then those most likely in those who sang

00:06:03--> 00:06:13

and Allah say, Man, according to the level of his face, the stronger the face, the stronger the test, the weaker the weaker.

00:06:16--> 00:06:18

This is the reality of life.

00:06:20--> 00:06:21

And passing,

00:06:23--> 00:06:26

passing grade is achieved through patience

00:06:28--> 00:06:46

and patience, is mastered, is gained through knowledge, knowledge of what is going on, knowledge base in divination, knowledge base in the sun now, the real son of the Prophet Mohammed mega business, which explains to us

00:06:47--> 00:06:55

the intricacies of life and the trials we face. By understanding these trials, etc, then we can

00:06:56--> 00:06:58

apply patience in our lives.

00:06:59--> 00:07:01

The second advice was that of tolerance,

00:07:05--> 00:07:06

to be tolerant,

00:07:07--> 00:07:08

not tolerant of evil,

00:07:10--> 00:07:10

of oppression,

00:07:13--> 00:07:17

a tolerance of differences amongst people.

00:07:18--> 00:07:22

Everybody would like everybody to follow one thing Exactly.

00:07:25--> 00:07:31

easier. Society functions more easily when people are in conformity completely.

00:07:33--> 00:07:50

That Islam recognizes that in basic principles of life, conformity is required, and encouraged and promoted. However, not in each and every sphere of life, because we are different human beings, we have different perceptions, there will be differences.

00:07:52--> 00:07:58

So, when there are differences, what do we do? Do we brand those who are different as being deviant?

00:08:00--> 00:08:00

mistaken,

00:08:02--> 00:08:03

worthless, or whatever?

00:08:05--> 00:08:12

Or do we do as a prophet Mohammed, we got discretion to promote proposals that have been tolerant

00:08:15--> 00:08:20

that we respect the rights of others, to look over

00:08:22--> 00:08:35

their knowledge. And if they're differing based on ignorance, then we try to educate them to understand what is wrong with what they're saying what they're doing, so that they can grasp them correct.

00:08:38--> 00:08:44

So I'm the face of Prophet Muhammad, peace, be upon him, said,

00:08:45--> 00:08:48

I read branches of the faith which do exist.

00:08:50--> 00:08:50

The best

00:08:51--> 00:08:56

aspects or best branches are those patients patience,

00:08:57--> 00:09:00

and tolerance. And it takes faith to be patient.

00:09:02--> 00:09:12

Faith is an expression of that patience. And it takes faith to be tolerant, tolerant of other ideas. People generally are willing to accept other ideas,

00:09:15--> 00:09:16

to accept other ideas,

00:09:20--> 00:09:24

to respect those who hold these other ideas, as long as their

00:09:26--> 00:09:39

ideas which are in conformity are within the bounds of Islam. What is that speaking of ideas, which are totally opposed to Islam, obviously understood to be wrong within the Islamic scheme of things.

00:09:41--> 00:09:51

You don't have to be tolerant to evil like that. Service whoever says he will stop it with his hand if he cannot speak out against so we are required to oppose evil.

00:09:52--> 00:10:00

But where are you and beings make natural mistakes or make other choices? We have to have a level of tolerance which is a part of our

00:10:01--> 00:10:06

That gave us I pray that Allah will give us the understanding,

00:10:07--> 00:10:08

to grab

00:10:09--> 00:10:10

the necessary

00:10:11--> 00:10:18

components of patience and apply them in our lives. And similarly, the components of tolerance,

00:10:19--> 00:10:26

salam, alaikum, warahmatullahi wabarakatuh for the party z local spot in feasterville, in

00:10:27--> 00:10:35

Romania, how to harden in civilian law? How do how to fashion NC civilian, they're

00:10:36--> 00:10:49

the best charities are the shade of a 10th. And the path of a law, the gift of a servant for a lost cause, or a female stallion cammo. In the path of Allah.

00:10:52--> 00:11:20

Since the principle of jihad is among the most significant or major acts that a Muslim may do, that is striving with his self, his soul offering his soul up for the sake of God fighting in defense of the religion of Islam, or for the protection of Muslims, or Muslims property,

00:11:21--> 00:11:40

wherever Muslims are pressed to join, to help them, this is called jihad, jihad in the major sense, of course, there is jihad in a lesser sense, that of jihad, meaning, a struggle of any sorts against evil.

00:11:42--> 00:11:49

The struggle within oneself against the evil tendencies of the soul of the desires of the soul.

00:11:50--> 00:12:23

This is an aspect of jihad also, and within one family struggling against the evil forces to ensure that the laws of God function within the family, this is also another aspect of jihad. But specifically here, Prophet Mohammed negus, peace and blessings be upon him, address addressing this topic because of the the importance that Islam places on the higher aspects of jihad, wherein a person is prepared to lay down their lives, for the sake of Allah. That is not necessarily suicide.

00:12:25--> 00:12:28

Islam does not invite Muslims to suicide,

00:12:29--> 00:12:49

but to struggle in adjust and reasonable struggle for the defense of Muslim of Islam, of Islamic vow that is the propagation of Islam, Muslims are encouraged to commit themselves to this end, whenever the requirement arises.

00:12:50--> 00:13:02

So, having understood that this is of primary importance in Islam, great weight is given to it, then the Prophet Muhammad may got this and that should be upon him points out that

00:13:03--> 00:13:07

for those who are actually unable to take part in the struggle,

00:13:09--> 00:13:16

whatever they can do to help those who are actually taking part is considered, of great value

00:13:17--> 00:13:17

of

00:13:19--> 00:13:27

worthy of note worthy of consideration, especially when it comes to our charity. Where do we put our charity?

00:13:29--> 00:13:36

There is a statement made by another Companion of the prophet may God's peace be upon him by the name of Zaid, even Khalid,

00:13:38--> 00:13:51

in which he calls the Prophet Mohammed they got peace and blessings be upon him, saying, whoever equips a warrior in the way of a law or looks after his family, in his absence is like one who actually fights.

00:13:53--> 00:14:10

So, we helping of one who's involved in jihad, by either helping to equip that person to take fight into Jihad by providing weapons for them, or providing a means of transport for them, or providing a means of,

00:14:11--> 00:14:34

of housing for them during the course of the battle or before or after, all, of this is considered, for one who provides this charitably, as equal in reward, or similar in reward to one was actually taking part in the jihad in the struggle.

00:14:35--> 00:14:43

And even looking after that family that the Mujahideen one who is going to struggle at left behind looking after his family

00:14:44--> 00:14:51

is also considered a part of that struggle, and earns one a great reward.

00:14:53--> 00:14:59

A reward at the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said similar to the one who actually fights so this

00:15:00--> 00:15:04

hobbies are statements of Prophet Muhammad began this investment upon him

00:15:05--> 00:15:22

give three examples of this kind of support. One is the shade of attempt in the past of Allah to donate housing, in which the troops who are fighting for the sake of a loss of the defense of Islam, etc.

00:15:23--> 00:15:30

Need, of course, people need housing, if the attempts smaller, larger, whatever, whatever is donated in this way,

00:15:31--> 00:15:53

is of the best forms of charity. The second is a gift of a servant for the cause of a law. That is those who have gone to fight fight, they've left behind families, for example, to hire somebody, as a servant, to help those families look after their needs. This is an example of giving a servant

00:15:54--> 00:16:40

in the cause of a lot. Of course, it could be it could involve a variety of other circumstances. But this is a simple presentation. The third category was that of giving a female stallion camo which was, you know, one of the prime riding beasts of the time, which the soldiers those who are fighting for the sake of Allah will utilize horses and camels. So one who gives a, a valuable means of transport, or means to purchase the necessary transport for those who are going to fight in the path of law, such also get a reward similar to those who are involved in the actual struggle. And as the Prophet Muhammad may God's peace and blessings be upon him, said here, that it is the best form of

00:16:40--> 00:16:50

charity, we are enjoined and invited to give charitably, because whatever wealth we have, it is from Allah. Allah has given it to us as a test.

00:16:52--> 00:16:58

How will we use this well, will we be thankful to allow and regarded that's the first aspect of it?

00:16:59--> 00:17:07

Or will we forget the law, and just be so happy with the fact that we have it, we just splurge it all on ourselves with forgot my liner responsibilities.

00:17:08--> 00:17:11

The first step is to give thanks to Allah.

00:17:12--> 00:17:25

That is a concept, a principle, a spiritual principle that we have to recognize, when we are given when we have wealth given to us by Allah. The second point is how do we use?

00:17:26--> 00:17:27

Do we squander it,

00:17:28--> 00:17:33

wasted? Or do we use it in ways which are beneficial,

00:17:34--> 00:17:41

whose value is lasting beneficial in this life, and earns for us rewards in the next life.

00:17:42--> 00:18:12

This only comes from charity, or deeds giving, which is done in a way which is pleasing to Allah. And as the Prophet Mohammed mega descended upon him said, when a person dies, all of his deeds in this life, and he can no longer benefits from the details of his life, except in the case of three, one of those threes, all those three categories are at the bottom, and that is charity, which is an ongoing value.

00:18:14--> 00:18:20

For us to leave something behind, to give in charity, something whose value continues to benefit people.

00:18:22--> 00:18:26

We continue to gain reward as long as the benefit continues to be there.

00:18:28--> 00:18:54

So here is prophetic advice to us, first and foremost, to consider charity, giving us some of the wealth that we have voluntarily, of course, is the compulsory charity, which is there to train us in voluntary charity. But first, but after having fulfilled our obligation of Zakah be compulsory charity, we then

00:18:55--> 00:19:06

are supposed to suppose have been trained in generosity to such a degree that we would seek to find other means to give from our wealth to the needy.

00:19:07--> 00:19:20

And those that are considered the cause which is considered the most needy, according to Prophet Mohammed may God's peace be upon him is the cause of jihad, the defense of Islam and Muslims

00:19:22--> 00:19:27

and opening the way for conveying the message of a law to the world.

00:19:30--> 00:19:45

We should seek to give some of our charity in this particular sphere, because of the great rewards involved in it. And because of the importance, which Islam has placed on this aspect of the religion.

00:19:46--> 00:19:56

of us, I'd like to thank you for being with us in this segment of the program, pros of the profits, and we hope that you will have been benefiting from the various

00:19:57--> 00:19:59

statements that the Prophet Muhammad may God's peace

00:20:00--> 00:20:24

As your funding has made, which I have conveyed to you, and that my my explanations have served to clarify those meanings, and to bring to you more of the importance and significance of applying the way of the profit in our daily lives and in God's peace and blessings be upon him. With that I bid you all farewell. For salaam aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh.

00:20:26--> 00:20:27

Africa's here

00:20:28--> 00:20:37

is first and foremost with regards to giving when we are in a position to give

00:20:38--> 00:21:33

his lab does not burden us to the point where we put ourselves into difficult straits by giving, giving as good as great rewarding, and all of us should seek the reward. However, one should not punish oneself or create difficulties for oneself by taking on something which is beyond their capacity, or the law tells us in the crime itself, that he does not burden anyone beyond their ability like you can do for long enough and allow us to realize that burdening us ganas ability, there is no need for us to do that to ourselves. So, the Prophet Muhammad, may God's peace and blessings be upon him advises us simply by saying that the best charity is one given when one has

00:21:33--> 00:21:34

surplus wealth

00:21:35--> 00:21:40

is the best time to give. When we have something accumulated God has given us extra.

00:21:41--> 00:21:43

This is the best time now for us to give.

00:21:45--> 00:21:55

Oftentimes, people give, when they're in times of difficulty, when they have problems, etc. You know, they're given to God, for us to say, Well, I will give

00:21:56--> 00:22:11

since I'm doing this for you, or as you have requested, can you do for me what I do need, so they're giving it as a kind of a deal or a bargain, no, Prophet Muhammad May God bless speaking back in the parliament telling us the best time when we get extra,

00:22:13--> 00:22:24

there's not a need and a cause, etc. But the fact that ally given extra to us, we give thanks to him for that, by giving some of it to those who are in need.

00:22:25--> 00:22:37

Then he goes on to clarify, that the upper hand is better than the lower hand, the upper hand meaning the hand which gives is better than the hand, which

00:22:39--> 00:22:50

is a very important point because some people in ignorance, have promoted the idea that receiving, you know, depending on others, is somehow depending on a law.

00:22:52--> 00:23:01

That is, rather than going out and working, earning one's living one's needs, you know, a person says I will depend on the law to provide for my needs.

00:23:02--> 00:23:18

Of course, that means, because Allah is not going to give them directly. It has to come to other people, and how do they get it, they get it by either putting their hands out, or using certain statements to indicate the people that they have needs.

00:23:19--> 00:23:25

So they end up in fact, begging other people, while claiming to be dependent on Allah.

00:23:26--> 00:23:52

However, this is not considered to be proper trust in Allah. When Allah, you know, points out in a lie, your head will matter, luckily, and Allah loves those who put their trust in Him. Of course, this is something highly commendable in Islam. However, Prophet Mohammed on one occasion, clarified God's peace in the sea upon him, what is meant by this trust? On one occasion, he was sitting in his Masjid. And a Bedouin came in.

00:23:54--> 00:23:59

After the men came in and came up to the Prophet, he realized

00:24:00--> 00:24:07

that he had forgotten to tie his camel outside. And of course, this is something very dangerous.

00:24:08--> 00:24:08

in those

00:24:09--> 00:24:16

areas, when you don't tie a camel is liable to run away. And if a cat runs away, you know, this is an important wealth you've lost.

00:24:18--> 00:24:24

So the question came to his mind? Well, I've come to see the profit. Shouldn't I trust in a lot?

00:24:25--> 00:24:37

So he asked the Prophet, may God's peace and blessings be upon him? Should I go back out and tie my camel or messenger of Allah? Because I forgotten to or should I trust in a law?

00:24:39--> 00:24:47

seeking advice here what is meant by the structure in the law, Prophet Muhammad, peace, be upon him told him, go out and tie your camel and trust in Allah.

00:24:49--> 00:24:59

Explain here, what is meant by trust in the law that we do, what is in our means, to fulfill whatever it is that we desire, we seek you

00:25:00--> 00:25:17

Need we want. And after doing that, then we turn our fear over to Allah. Because no matter what efforts we make, there's no guarantee that they will bring success. The man may fire scab or come inside. And somehow, the camel manages to loosen the cord and run away.

00:25:20--> 00:25:21

somebody steals his capital.

00:25:22--> 00:25:27

So there's no guarantee simply because he tried it, but it would still be there when he went out.

00:25:28--> 00:25:31

He has done what he could to private capital.

00:25:32--> 00:26:12

And this is what is required. We do what we can in terms of providing for ourselves, then having done that, then we put our trust in Allah. So what Islam favors what it promotes is that we need a productive part of the society, not being simply on the receiving end, the welfare mentality, a welfare society with a society just looks after all of these individuals, they have no responsibility. Just simply being born in the society means you have the right to have and to take as much as it is not the Islamic way. Islam encourages productive work by those who are able to produce.

00:26:14--> 00:26:15

So

00:26:16--> 00:26:30

we strive work, and what we earn, we give, this is better than to be on the receiving end, seeking from others as opposed to giving. And then the Prophet Mohammed, may God's peace and blessings be upon him,

00:26:31--> 00:26:43

clarified for us, where our priorities should be in giving. Where do we start, we start with the family, what that demands ours, we begin with those

00:26:45--> 00:27:31

who are dependent, those who are dependent on other words, you don't take from your wealth and you give to people outside, there are needy causes. Outside, for example, we spoke before of the jihad, the cause of jihad gone give to God in the currency. And we haven't given for our family, our family who have a right to be taken care of, we are neglecting that right? And we're going to do something else is always it's important to keep things in their proper perspective. Those things that are needed the compulsory honor, that is taken care of our family is needed to compulsory for us, to put that aside, and go and do something else which is recommended, which is good, is not acceptable.

00:27:33--> 00:27:58

what is required of us was to be taken care of first and foremost. Having done that, then we move on to help outside of the primary responsibilities that we have. So far with Mohammed may God's peace and blessings be upon him, has advised us that the best time for to give for us to give charitably is when we have

00:27:59--> 00:28:09

when Rob comes to us we have a surplus, given that time, don't give only when you have a need. When pressure is on you.

00:28:10--> 00:28:11

This is not the best time to give,

00:28:12--> 00:28:18

give, it's better to give them the not to give at all. However, the best time is when we first get there.

00:28:19--> 00:28:21

And of course, the giving

00:28:22--> 00:28:29

being a productive member of the society, so that we have something to give is better than being on the receiving end.

00:28:30--> 00:28:34

To be a non productive member, only taking from the society.

00:28:35--> 00:28:43

And when we give our giving should begin with those who are closest to us, whom to whom we have responsibilities.

00:28:45--> 00:28:52

We cannot overlook our primary responsibilities to take care of secondary responsibilities.

00:28:54--> 00:28:58

So dear viewers, let us reflect on this prophetic advice,

00:28:59--> 00:29:04

prophetic advice, which encourages us

00:29:05--> 00:29:07

to be conscious of God.

00:29:09--> 00:29:14

In our times of success, i times have

00:29:17--> 00:29:18

the fulfillment of our desires.

00:29:21--> 00:29:23

When we get that material

00:29:25--> 00:29:26

goal,

00:29:29--> 00:29:31

then it's the time to be

00:29:33--> 00:29:42

have what we died with God, supplying some Allah for if it just came without us desiring it or seeking it wherever it came to us.

00:29:44--> 00:29:46

It is the best time to give

00:29:47--> 00:29:57

that way we are rewarded and we protect ourselves from being distracted and distorted in our spiritual understanding

00:29:58--> 00:29:59

by the evil forces

00:30:00--> 00:30:16

where a person having success, praises himself feels great about himself. what he has done because of his great efforts, you know, this is all he can think about. He forgets his duty or her duty to Allah.

00:30:18--> 00:30:29

To that the viewers, I'd like to thank you for being with us. In this segment of the program program, the topic, a segment in which we'll be looking at aspects of charity.

00:30:31--> 00:30:37

Charity, which should be a part of the character of each and every Muslim

00:30:38--> 00:30:44

moral character should be one built on generosity.

00:30:45--> 00:30:46

May Allah give us

00:30:47--> 00:30:47

the

00:30:49--> 00:31:34

success in this life, to realize the need for generosity in ourselves and to live in accordance with that realization. And with that, give us a bid you all farewell. salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim in the name of a lot of Beneficent, the Most Merciful. I would like to welcome your viewers to another segment of the series, pearls of the Prophet as salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah in capital. There are Peace and blessings to each and every one of you. In this segment, we'll be looking at the prophetic advice with regard to our companions.

00:31:35--> 00:31:38

The best of our companions

00:31:39--> 00:31:44

even narrated, the prophet Mohammed may God's peace and blessings be upon instead

00:31:45--> 00:31:54

of hub and the llahi, Tyra home, Lisa heavy, are higher in JIRA, in the law, higher home luxury,

00:31:55--> 00:32:07

the nest of companions in the sight of a law are those who are best to their companions. And the best of neighbors in the sight of a law are those who are best to their neighbors.

00:32:10--> 00:32:11

The principle here,

00:32:12--> 00:32:17

which the Prophet Muhammad may God's peace and blessings be upon him addresses his

00:32:18--> 00:32:19

benefit,

00:32:20--> 00:32:24

what is beneficial, where does good live?

00:32:25--> 00:32:32

The best companions are those who are best to their companions, the best friend

00:32:33--> 00:32:35

is the friend whose death to

00:32:37--> 00:32:38

death in what way

00:32:39--> 00:32:41

best primarily, in

00:32:42--> 00:32:44

guiding us to the truth

00:32:45--> 00:32:47

reminding us of Allah,

00:32:48--> 00:32:55

encouraging us to be patient, all of the positive input they are giving us

00:32:56--> 00:33:02

such as our best companions, they benefit us first and foremost on the spiritual level.

00:33:04--> 00:33:11

And we are told by Prophet Mohammed may God's peace be upon him to be very careful how we choose our companions and

00:33:12--> 00:33:13

those who are close to us,

00:33:14--> 00:33:19

because he said, You will be raised with your friends on the Day of Judgment.

00:33:20--> 00:33:22

So, choose your friends your companions, well.

00:33:23--> 00:33:32

On another occasion, he said that the good companion, the beneficial companion is like a perfume merchant.

00:33:33--> 00:33:50

When you sit to the perfume mentioned, either you come away smelling good because so many bottles of perfume have been opened and the scent, the fragrances come over you so you leave there smelling very nicely. Or he will give you a box and you leave with a bottle of perfume.

00:33:51--> 00:33:53

Whereas the evil companion

00:33:54--> 00:33:55

is like the blacksmith

00:33:56--> 00:34:04

working the bellows, you know, as he's beating the iron, blowing over it with the machine the bellows

00:34:06--> 00:34:07

when you are next to him,

00:34:08--> 00:34:09

or her.

00:34:10--> 00:34:12

This smoke and sparks

00:34:13--> 00:34:19

will leave a smell on your clothing. When you grow you'll be smelling Ironworks and

00:34:22--> 00:34:24

steel foundry etc.

00:34:25--> 00:34:29

Or some of those sparks will actually get on your clothes and learn new clothes.

00:34:32--> 00:34:43

The principle of companions. So we have to choose our companions. Well, we have to choose those first and foremost, who will help us to get to paradise.

00:34:45--> 00:34:49

They're not the ones who when we think of something evil will be the first to say Yeah, let's do it.

00:34:51--> 00:34:54

No, the other ones will question Is this good?

00:34:56--> 00:34:59

Perhaps this is not pleasing to Allah. Maybe we should avoid this

00:35:00--> 00:35:04

This is our best companion low in common

00:35:06--> 00:35:23

experience, people tend to look at such as spoilsports, you know, they are ruining the party, the one who's always coming up with maybe we shouldn't do this, the conscience, this is looked at, as, you know, a person that they don't like to keep him around all the time, or her.

00:35:24--> 00:35:31

But in fact, such individuals are the best of our companions, those who remind us of Allah.

00:35:32--> 00:35:39

That's the spiritual level, of course, on a material plane, they're also those who will benefit us.

00:35:40--> 00:35:45

Then if it doesn't make sense that when we're in need, we need help, they're there to help us.

00:35:46--> 00:35:51

As they say, a friend in need is a friend indeed.

00:35:52--> 00:35:56

When we're in need, and this person comes to us, this is a true friend, they will benefit us.

00:35:57--> 00:35:58

Similarly,

00:35:59--> 00:36:18

is the case of neighbors. The best neighbor to have is not necessarily the one who has the nicest parties. You know, the most fun loving person and Joker and it's the best neighbor is the one who reminds us of a man

00:36:19--> 00:36:45

who reminds us to live in accordance with the law. They see things going on in our family, or they hear us saying things about our family, and they advise us what the Watchtower will have. They advise us advising, they accept advice that we had, and they advise us when we need when they see wrong they tell us about it, this is the good neighbor will benefit.

00:36:46--> 00:36:53

Similarly, if we have some need, we have something to do to our place, we have to do some work there, they'll come to give us a hand

00:36:55--> 00:37:00

the best of neighbors, they help us both on a physical plane, as well as on a spiritual plane.

00:37:02--> 00:37:03

So their viewers,

00:37:04--> 00:37:15

what the prophet Mohammed they got peace and blessings be upon him is advising us here is to be careful about whom we choose as our companions.

00:37:18--> 00:37:20

What neighborhood do we choose?

00:37:21--> 00:37:26

Who how do we find the best kind of neighbors? How do we know who they are?

00:37:29--> 00:37:33

Primarily, it is based on benefits.

00:37:35--> 00:37:41

Those who can benefit us most are the best friends, companions and neighbors

00:37:43--> 00:37:50

for primarily on a spiritual plane, but also in accordance with our physical needs.

00:37:51--> 00:37:56

Our social needs, those who can help us to fulfill those needs are our best friends.

00:37:58--> 00:38:03

So their viewers, it is for us then to reassess

00:38:04--> 00:38:06

our own situation.

00:38:07--> 00:38:08

Who are our friends?

00:38:09--> 00:38:15

What criteria we've been using to determine who our best friends what neighborhood we want to live in,

00:38:16--> 00:38:18

who we want to take as our

00:38:19--> 00:38:20

companion.

00:38:22--> 00:38:25

Likely, we'll be using the wrong criteria.

00:38:26--> 00:38:30

Now's the chance to change. It's never too late.

00:38:31--> 00:38:41

until death comes upon us, we have a chance to change, we should try to change correct. Get away from that old negative neighborhood like the blacksmith

00:38:43--> 00:38:52

causing smoke to come over us or burning our clothes. Get away from that evil neighborhood. Get away from your evil friends.

00:38:53--> 00:39:00

And that way you will protect your face, protect your life and your honor, and be able to stand before God

00:39:03--> 00:39:11

in a good position based on the Help given to us by our companions, our neighbors, and our friends.

00:39:12--> 00:39:13

And without the viewers.

00:39:15--> 00:39:29

I'd like to thank you for following this program. And I hope that each segment, each word of wisdom from the Prophet Muhammad peace index is being absorbed by you.

00:39:30--> 00:39:42

Because the Prophet, pass this information on that we may absorb this. We may hear it and apply it in our daily lives.

00:39:43--> 00:40:00

We all are in need of guidance. We are running to psychiatry or running to this person that want to get advice for this that or the other. But we are neglecting the primary source of advice and that is the sooner the way of

00:40:00--> 00:40:07

Prophet Muhammad may God's peace and blessings be upon him. So the viewers I advise you to get the look of happy

00:40:08--> 00:40:17

Muslims, for example for why, which gives you advice and guidance to every walk in your life.

00:40:20--> 00:40:30

With that, dear viewers, I'd like to thank you for continuing with the program and I hope that you will be with me in the next

00:40:31--> 00:40:32

God ready

00:40:33--> 00:40:35

for salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato

00:40:37--> 00:40:48

Bismillah al Rahman al Rahim, In the name of Allah Beneficent, the Most Merciful. I'd like to welcome you, dear viewers, to another in our series, pearls of the prophet

00:40:49--> 00:40:51

may God's peace and blessings be upon him.

00:40:52--> 00:40:58

And I'd like to welcome you with the Islamic greeting, the greeting of all of the prophets of God

00:41:00--> 00:41:12

alikum warahmatu Allahi wa barakato a lot of Peace and blessings beyond each and every one of you. And in this section, we'll be looking at the prophetic advice with regards to death

00:41:13--> 00:41:14

and

00:41:15--> 00:41:16

paying them

00:41:19--> 00:41:24

Abu huraira stated, The Prophet Muhammad may God's peace and blessings be upon him said

00:41:25--> 00:41:25

enough

00:41:28--> 00:41:29

about

00:41:30--> 00:41:35

the best of you is the one who is best in paying his debts.

00:41:37--> 00:41:43

Islam has stressed the importance of paying off debts.

00:41:44--> 00:41:46

This is the trust

00:41:47--> 00:41:49

upon which the society is built.

00:41:51--> 00:41:56

People are lending property, putting them in the trust of others

00:41:57--> 00:42:03

and expect that this trust is fulfilled by the property being returned.

00:42:06--> 00:42:09

Therefore, it is essential

00:42:10--> 00:42:14

as an act of faith that we fulfill our traffic.

00:42:16--> 00:42:17

If our word means nothing,

00:42:20--> 00:42:24

if we devour the properties of others, unjustly,

00:42:25--> 00:42:30

then, Vinnie, where is Islam? How is Islam affected?

00:42:32--> 00:42:35

Islam guides us to that which is better,

00:42:37--> 00:42:41

guides us to fulfillment of our own our commitment.

00:42:44--> 00:42:44

And

00:42:46--> 00:42:49

the Prophet Mohammed made our peace and blessings be upon him.

00:42:50--> 00:42:51

I said

00:42:52--> 00:42:53

that

00:42:55--> 00:42:57

that obliterates

00:42:59--> 00:43:04

everything that's in the way of Allah, somebody's fighting for the cause of Allah

00:43:05--> 00:43:07

dies in that process.

00:43:08--> 00:43:16

All of his sentences, obligations, responsibilities have become obliterated, except that

00:43:17--> 00:43:21

this is recorded in five Muslim authentic tradition of the gods.

00:43:24--> 00:43:28

That is something we should not look at lightly.

00:43:30--> 00:43:31

Islam and joins us

00:43:33--> 00:43:45

to fulfill our responsibility. As such, the best of us are those who are best in keeping to our commitments in paying our debt

00:43:47--> 00:43:52

and living this life, free from death as much as we can.

00:43:54--> 00:43:55

Allah forgives sins.

00:43:57--> 00:44:00

But this is a relationship between a human being and another human being.

00:44:02--> 00:44:06

And this is why a lot leaves that to be resolved amongst ourselves.

00:44:08--> 00:44:09

debts which are not paid

00:44:12--> 00:44:22

are repaid on the Day of Judgment. Because no oppression which takes place in this world will be left unanswered.

00:44:25--> 00:44:26

So the brothers and sisters

00:44:28--> 00:44:36

it is better for us to handle our problems in this life care our debt, then to find ourselves on the Day of Judgment

00:44:39--> 00:44:46

deprived of good deeds, or evil deeds being put on our scale in repayment for the deaths which we didn't fulfill.

00:44:49--> 00:44:50

And a relative

00:44:52--> 00:44:55

who knows of a debt should try to fulfill it for the remedy.

00:44:58--> 00:45:00

In fact, when Islamic inherited

00:45:00--> 00:45:22

Since is divided before you start to divide up amongst the inheritors, Islam requires that the debts must be paid, the money must be taken out of the money left behind to pay off that person's debts. It means using all the money to pay off the debts. Another thing is that for Americans, and that must be done, because before inheritance can be divided up amongst the heirs,

00:45:23--> 00:45:24

deaths must be cleared.

00:45:27--> 00:45:28

Therefore,

00:45:29--> 00:45:33

you have yours, we are enjoined to

00:45:34--> 00:45:37

fulfill our responsibilities and to pay our debts,

00:45:38--> 00:45:59

even the death of our relatives, we should try to pay it for them. In one case, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad SAW Salah whether he should fight on behalf of his mother, who had died with the intention of fasting. And above Mohamed, they got this recipe upon him asked him if they left that behind with new payments.

00:46:00--> 00:46:00

So this

00:46:02--> 00:46:07

is a this is a debt owed to Allah, it has more rights to be repaid. So he may

00:46:09--> 00:46:17

give charity, God gives the car the compulsory charity on behalf of my dead relatives, who have the desire to do so. But

00:46:19--> 00:46:20

of course,

00:46:21--> 00:46:24

giving for those relatives who had no intention of paying

00:46:26--> 00:46:28

those who are deviated from the path

00:46:29--> 00:46:31

are giving is obviously not going to benefit.

00:46:33--> 00:46:38

The mistaken concept that people think that a person may die in a state of evil,

00:46:39--> 00:46:55

evil person, but if you have enough money to get enough calories to come and recycle, and for this person or other people to come and gather and to do this or to do that, and send the blessings to this dead person, that their faith can be changed. This is a delusion.

00:46:56--> 00:47:07

Because this turns the religion then into a money thing, a money game and business as happened. In the case of Catholicism, the the indulgences

00:47:09--> 00:47:12

where the pope issued certificates

00:47:14--> 00:47:33

during the time of the Crusades prior and after they issued certificates to those who could pay for the certificate, pardon for their sins. You want to be part of this, since you pay some money to the church, they give you a certificate, you can stand before God with your certificate, but you will not be held responsible for certain sins.

00:47:34--> 00:47:37

Obviously, those who had more money could

00:47:38--> 00:47:43

obliterate their sins by say, buying the certificates by more certificates those who had last couldn't.

00:47:46--> 00:47:47

This is not religion.

00:47:48--> 00:47:50

This is manmade business.

00:47:51--> 00:47:53

Similarly, in Islam,

00:47:54--> 00:47:55

cases the same.

00:47:57--> 00:47:59

We cannot pay off

00:48:01--> 00:48:07

things that you are obligatory on those who couldn't do them and chose not to do them, we cannot pay for them.

00:48:09--> 00:48:10

What is done in advance

00:48:12--> 00:48:33

why a good child acts will benefit the parent is if and only if that says was himself good and righteous or she was good and righteous. So the child is a product of their own righteousness. And as such, they're rewarded by the child's action when they're praying for that person giving in charity for the person and

00:48:35--> 00:48:47

so their viewers, let us not be deluded into thinking that money can buy for our dead relatives through Quranic recitation, etc, etc, can buy for them.

00:48:49--> 00:48:50

paradise,

00:48:51--> 00:48:57

Paradise is not for sale, in this way, alive made it very clear

00:48:58--> 00:49:01

what and how that sale takes place.

00:49:02--> 00:49:04

In the lush, Nina

00:49:06--> 00:49:08

and fufa home will

00:49:09--> 00:49:15

be added along gender Allah has purchased from the believers, their souls and their wealth,

00:49:17--> 00:49:19

for the price of Paradise

00:49:20--> 00:49:20

from Allah,

00:49:22--> 00:49:29

that deliver who does not sell his soul and does not sell or give his wealth for the sake of Allah

00:49:31--> 00:49:37

cannot attain paradise because they are not really believers.

00:49:40--> 00:49:47

And Prophet Muhammad told his companions to announce to the people that only the true believers would enter Paradise.

00:49:49--> 00:49:52

Only the true maybe. So the viewers

00:49:54--> 00:49:56

those of us that have debts

00:49:57--> 00:49:59

and it's not uncommon. There are a variety

00:50:00--> 00:50:14

have different kinds of debts that we can accumulate, whether it is directly borrowing money from people, or there are things that we were required to do, which we didn't do. Now many different ways that debts may accumulate, and

00:50:15--> 00:50:42

we should strive to fulfill them. Because the more we fulfill, the better Muslims will become. Spiritual Growth takes place when we do what is required by submitting our spirit to God without their view, as I'd like to thank you for being with us, in this segment of the process, in which we have looked at some prophetic advice with regards to debt.

00:50:44--> 00:50:48

I will see you God Willing in the next program, what salaam aleikum wa

00:50:51--> 00:51:01

smilla Rahmanir Rahim, the name of a lot of beneficence, the Most Merciful. I'd like to welcome neither of us to another in the series, pearls of the Prophet.

00:51:02--> 00:51:04

May God's peace and blessings be upon him.

00:51:06--> 00:51:06

And

00:51:08--> 00:51:17

this molang rock manda Rahim in the name of a law, the Beneficent, the Most Merciful. I'd like to welcome your viewers to another in the series pearls of the prophets

00:51:19--> 00:51:24

of salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato. Allah Peace and blessings beyond each and every one of you.

00:51:25--> 00:51:34

And I hope that you all have been benefiting from this series, and will continue to benefit as I have benefited, in preparing it.

00:51:36--> 00:51:47

By looking at the various statements of Prophet Muhammad mega peace and blessings be upon him, which have great significance in our day to day life.

00:51:48--> 00:51:51

We find benefits and guidance

00:51:53--> 00:52:02

in our everyday affairs, and understand more deeply the comprehensiveness of Islam

00:52:03--> 00:52:06

in the life of a human being.

00:52:08--> 00:52:21

Today's message, so bad related, that the Messenger of Allah said, Is stephie Moon will land too soon, while the moon and the moon up Valley are medical, as

00:52:23--> 00:52:24

well all you have to the

00:52:25--> 00:52:26

level

00:52:27--> 00:52:33

we have right? Although you will never be able to be virtuous all the time.

00:52:35--> 00:52:38

But know that the best of your deeds is prayer.

00:52:39--> 00:52:43

And that only the true believer where God is ablution

00:52:45--> 00:52:46

the upright

00:52:48--> 00:52:50

the general statement,

00:52:52--> 00:52:56

guidance, law daily life, be upright,

00:52:57--> 00:52:58

be righteous.

00:53:01--> 00:53:02

Be aware of righteousness,

00:53:04--> 00:53:16

let that be your greatest concern. This is the advice of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon the upright. That is, whatever we do, will do.

00:53:18--> 00:53:22

According to the straight path of Islam. This is being oppressed.

00:53:23--> 00:53:24

We have a choice.

00:53:25--> 00:53:29

throughout our day, we have many choices.

00:53:30--> 00:53:37

But whenever we are faced with that choice, between the right way, the way that Islam permits,

00:53:39--> 00:53:43

and the wrong way, the way despised by Islam by God.

00:53:45--> 00:53:47

We should choose the way

00:53:48--> 00:53:50

which Islam has prescribed.

00:53:52--> 00:53:53

We are upright

00:53:54--> 00:53:58

by being conscious of God in making our choices.

00:54:00--> 00:54:22

If we retain the consciousness of God, then our choices will be in the right areas. Our lives will unfold and progress properly, we will be growing spiritually all the time. We have setbacks, we have kinds of difficulties, but in general, we grow gradually, spiritually,

00:54:24--> 00:54:25

being upright.

00:54:27--> 00:54:28

This is the best state to be in.

00:54:30--> 00:54:33

This is what we should see is why we should advise others to seek

00:54:34--> 00:54:37

righteousness, in practice,

00:54:38--> 00:54:48

not nearly in concept, not nearly as knowledge. But being upright means living a righteous life.

00:54:50--> 00:54:53

As Prophet Mohammed May God speaking with the apartment said

00:54:55--> 00:54:56

we should know at the same time

00:54:58--> 00:54:59

that

00:55:00--> 00:55:02

We cannot be virtuous all the time.

00:55:03--> 00:55:23

So though we are encouraged to be upright, to be conscious of God in our trophy, essentially, it doesn't mean that we know should expect from ourselves perfection, the Prophet Muhammad, they got your pan and shoulders, that's all of the descendants of Adam constantly commit error.

00:55:25--> 00:55:27

This error is a part of the language.

00:55:29--> 00:55:37

That if we turn to God in repentance, then we can be absolved of our original sin.

00:55:38--> 00:55:43

And evil can even be turned into good, righteous deeds on our own.

00:55:45--> 00:55:53

So we should be aware, we shouldn't fall into despair, if we are seeking to be upright, and we're very concerned about it. But then we do it often.

00:55:55--> 00:55:57

And it's not to say that we should

00:55:58--> 00:56:12

say, Well, okay, we're always making mistakes. So you know, nothing to worry about, we just were making a mistake, I collect forgiveness, and carry on. Now, we shouldn't take it lightly, of course. Because we cannot ask a loss, if we don't feel

00:56:13--> 00:56:16

to put us into the state of despair.

00:56:17--> 00:56:20

When we feel how can we be righteous?

00:56:21--> 00:56:23

We're making these mistakes.

00:56:24--> 00:56:24

No.

00:56:27--> 00:56:32

One does one God, that's the reality is we cannot be virtuous all the time. No human being.

00:56:34--> 00:56:39

There is no one who reaches that kind of perfection, we are committed error.

00:56:41--> 00:56:44

This is why we shouldn't trust in any other human beings

00:56:47--> 00:56:49

who blindly sell themselves to other

00:56:52--> 00:56:59

spiritually, where we seek to become the guide. And the sense that they have more will have their own

00:57:01--> 00:57:02

they do whatever they are told

00:57:04--> 00:57:08

this is wrong. And the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

00:57:10--> 00:57:16

Because he was guided by God, not the gods he was a mistake, because he did make mistakes and Allah corrected and

00:57:19--> 00:57:20

corrected.

00:57:22--> 00:57:28

Sorry, mistakes, did not serve as guidance, but as further guidance.

00:57:30--> 00:57:32

But that was only his case,

00:57:33--> 00:57:46

when he alone to be followed blindly in that way. Every other human being that we do that to, we are bound to be misguided. Because all other human beings can be parents and as a parent,

00:57:48--> 00:57:51

you will never be able to be virtuous all the time.

00:57:55--> 00:58:02

But know that the best of your deeds is fair, this is the link with a law to help us to be upright.

00:58:03--> 00:58:05

By establishing that,

00:58:07--> 00:58:18

not only as a compound, compulsory five times daily duties, but also as a voluntary duty. In the night, getting up from asleep and declaring, you know,

00:58:20--> 00:58:22

praying under a variety of different circumstances

00:58:27--> 00:58:27

is the best thing.

00:58:30--> 00:58:34

It is what is required after us immediately upon becoming a witness. There

00:58:36--> 00:58:42

it is, it was the last words of the Prophet before he left this world and he got this nasty abandoned.

00:58:43--> 00:58:48

Allah, guide your prayers, your prayers, look after them.

00:58:50--> 00:58:53

The first thing that you will be asked about on the Day of Judgment.

00:58:55--> 00:58:56

Close

00:58:57--> 00:59:07

Prophet Mohammed is a messenger upon close his recommendations with the concept that only the true believer will guide his ablution

00:59:09--> 00:59:13

He will guide the evolution you have

00:59:14--> 00:59:16

how do we guide our

00:59:17--> 00:59:21

we guide our solution first, by doing it properly.

00:59:23--> 00:59:27

Doing it according to the way of the Prophet Mohammed.

00:59:31--> 00:59:39

not adding things to it for myself. Some people did not know how to do new things which they say

00:59:41--> 00:59:49

before making or during making you do they're making certain prayers etc, which they think are from the Prophet but in fact they are not the guy

00:59:51--> 00:59:59

that says this will last remembering the name of a law before beginning. This is from this analysis in spite of instructions.

01:00:01--> 01:00:03

They got a fire in the garden.

01:00:08--> 01:00:15

Without doing this, we decrease the value of this, this act of ablution, of purifying ourselves tremendous.

01:00:17--> 01:00:22

We say this Milla, knowing that we are purifying ourselves fundamentally, spiritually.

01:00:24--> 01:00:34

This is why Prophet Muhammad mega destiny upon that said, that's when the world will stop performing properly, with every drop of water that drops from our limbs from our face, etc.

01:00:38--> 01:00:39

I've been washed off.

01:00:42--> 01:00:56

So protect, that we're doing it properly, remembering the name of a lot beginning and then washing the parts properly, not just rushing through and leaving gaps, etc, etc, who nobody knows. But Washington

01:00:58--> 01:01:07

meaning that a woman for example, with red nail polish, she should know, he got a brand new policy because those were parts prevents water from getting too often.

01:01:10--> 01:01:12

And in making the rules,

01:01:13--> 01:01:21

we don't add to it as I mentioned, things which are not apparent when people are wiping their head, they use the back of their hands and then it

01:01:22--> 01:01:23

is not

01:01:24--> 01:01:27

not authentic Lee recorded from Prophet Mohammed data

01:01:28--> 01:01:32

at all. And Sai Baba Muslim, he wiped his head

01:01:34--> 01:01:34

he did not

01:01:36--> 01:01:38

watch the next because he sat there or whatever.

01:01:40--> 01:01:43

To make it a part of this is incorrect.

01:01:44--> 01:01:45

Furthermore, we have others

01:01:47--> 01:01:48

who would write in your head

01:01:49--> 01:01:53

knows they were sick a few hairs from the front of the head and they will touch water I'm

01:01:54--> 01:01:56

not aware of the fact that

01:01:57--> 01:02:07

he was both his hands and he wipes the hands over the whole neck. This is the way of not having a few hairs, the top of the head this is not backing up.

01:02:09--> 01:02:09

So

01:02:10--> 01:02:22

it is a true believer who will protect and guide they will do by doing it properly run. And also by doing it before going to sleep at the Prophet Muhammad wa sallam recommends

01:02:23--> 01:02:30

by doing it. Also, whenever we break our state of maturity

01:02:31--> 01:02:33

to go to the bathroom essentially come up with a photo

01:02:34--> 01:02:40

only to deliver we'll be concerned about ablution and maintaining that height.

01:02:43--> 01:02:46

Us I'd like to thank you for being with us

01:02:47--> 01:02:51

as we look at righteousness in our life

01:02:54--> 01:03:00

as well as the importance of prayer and being consistent

01:03:01--> 01:03:05

with our without abolition, looking after it, doing it as we should

01:03:07--> 01:03:11

I bid you all farewell hoping that you will be with me

01:03:12--> 01:03:13

in this coming segment

01:03:15--> 01:03:19

and that you will continue to benefit as I have benefited. What's that? I'm Anil Kumar

01:03:23--> 01:03:31

Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim. naman talaga, Beneficent, the Most Merciful. I'd like to welcome you to another in the series

01:03:33--> 01:03:33

of the prophets

01:03:35--> 01:03:37

of salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato.

01:03:39--> 01:03:50

Like Peace and blessings, we are each and every one of you. And in this segment, we'll be looking at the prophetic advice with regards to the deeds that we do.

01:03:51--> 01:03:54

How should they be, what is the best way in which we may do them?

01:03:56--> 01:04:01

In this regard, he stated that the Prophet Mohammed May God speak a messenger bot in

01:04:02--> 01:04:06

a humble manner in a mosque, at one ohana.

01:04:09--> 01:04:15

The most beloved to Allah, are those done regularly, even if they are small.

01:04:19--> 01:04:24

The deeds not beloved to Allah, as those done regularly,

01:04:26--> 01:04:31

even if they are small in number four in size

01:04:32--> 01:04:54

that we do we have big beads, which are normally associated with a lot of reward and smaller beads associated with smaller ones. But what is most important, what a god most wants from us is consistency. That we are consistent in our act of righteousness

01:04:57--> 01:04:59

that a person established

01:05:00--> 01:05:02

principles of good in his or her life.

01:05:04--> 01:05:18

Now, there may not be many, they are the basic principles that they can live by, and they keep as a foundation for their life, not to become righteous at one point in time. And then I'm righteous. As for that,

01:05:20--> 01:05:22

as we have, unfortunately,

01:05:23--> 01:05:25

people who are looking for Friday.

01:05:28--> 01:05:30

On Friday, they come and they pray in the mouth.

01:05:31--> 01:05:36

A lot of drama, they are righteous at that time, they're making the prayer there.

01:05:37--> 01:05:39

But then the rest of the week,

01:05:40--> 01:05:43

they're forgotten God, God is only in the mind.

01:05:46--> 01:06:17

Or the rubber band, those who are your lungs, they're not saying or doing anything. They're cheating, stealing, lying, doing all kinds of things. But when Ramadan starts, they automatically become holy men and women, praying day and night. And in all these acts, staying up for Laila to other women giving charity the lobby, during Ramadan, as soon as a robot is over, they change your hand, like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

01:06:20--> 01:06:21

is not liked by a lot.

01:06:22--> 01:06:29

Because those righteous deeds done in this fashion, are not true as their ritual.

01:06:31--> 01:06:45

person cannot spend 11 months of the year without praying without being conscious of God without fulfilling one's duty to God. And then in one month,

01:06:46--> 01:06:49

all of a sudden become conscious of God, fulfilling one's duties such as

01:06:50--> 01:06:58

that person is only going through the ritual, the emotion, the prayer is meaningless.

01:07:00--> 01:07:06

not changing them, as proven by the end of Ramadan, when they go back to what they were.

01:07:07--> 01:07:08

As I said,

01:07:11--> 01:07:19

the law prevents one from evil speech and he didn't he was not doing that. It's not as a lot described.

01:07:20--> 01:07:20

It is

01:07:22--> 01:07:36

what we call, you know, monkey prayer. You know, the monkey, monkey see, monkey do. like to see a monkey the monkey sees you went to the moon to learn these movements and do the same thing. The monkey fare

01:07:37--> 01:07:38

is of no benefit.

01:07:41--> 01:07:43

So, a lot

01:07:44--> 01:07:54

of stuff that has informed us of this type of righteousness is not true righteousness, not really acceptable to Allah, what he wants from our is consistent.

01:07:55--> 01:08:01

We pray all year long. Prayer is a part of life.

01:08:03--> 01:08:07

Not something to be done, when you have a need, or out of fear,

01:08:08--> 01:08:17

or ritualistically as a annual celebration, an annual ritual, no prayer is a way of life.

01:08:19--> 01:08:19

So

01:08:21--> 01:08:48

better for us to establish those basics as an occasion, when a man came to Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. And he asked the Prophet what is required and the Prophet went out explained to him five times daily for giving Becca you know, back in Ramallah, and then object servicing then he went on to explain what you know, I forget spraying your compulsive press, when you may do voluntary presence of the method.

01:08:49--> 01:08:53

I will do exactly what you said what's required

01:08:55--> 01:08:57

to cabal super pres apologizes.

01:08:58--> 01:08:59

And he turned and walked away.

01:09:01--> 01:09:06

The Prophet said to his competitors say you want to see what somebody aside that looks like look at this man.

01:09:08--> 01:09:11

another occasion he said, in a similar circumstance, he said,

01:09:13--> 01:09:17

if that man has spoken the truth, he will get paradise.

01:09:19--> 01:09:29

Meaning that if a person did the basic pillars of a class didn't do any more or any less as the man says, not gonna do any more, and he won't do

01:09:31--> 01:09:33

that is enough to carry one to paradise.

01:09:35--> 01:09:38

Because each pillar of Islam

01:09:39--> 01:09:44

is not a ritual, but a guide to life.

01:09:46--> 01:09:53

It is a character building Morrow principle which creates

01:09:54--> 01:09:59

a new individual for the person establishes those basic rules.

01:10:00--> 01:10:02

Suppose it will produce

01:10:03--> 01:10:05

a righteous individual

01:10:06--> 01:10:10

of the highest of moral values, and character.

01:10:12--> 01:10:13

The basic,

01:10:14--> 01:10:23

but the basics done consistently, meaning out of conviction, what is then consistently out of conviction,

01:10:24--> 01:10:26

then out of a commitment

01:10:27--> 01:10:35

that will have an effect on the individual. And this is what Islam advises is what Islam invites to

01:10:38--> 01:10:40

establishing basic

01:10:41--> 01:11:03

responsibilities. And when he wants to do voluntary acts, we better to take a few that we make a part of our regular life from that point onwards, rather than trying to take on huge amounts of goodies that you want to do for a moment, and we forget, or we burn out, we can't handle it anymore, and we stop.

01:11:05--> 01:11:19

What is preferable to Allah? Is good deeds done consistently, even if they're only a few dozen small that they have become a part and parcel of our life.

01:11:21--> 01:11:29

Without their viewers, I hope that you would take an assessment of your life

01:11:31--> 01:11:41

to see to what degree it matches up with this principle. Are you amongst the extremists? Who only pray in Ramadan or on Fridays?

01:11:43--> 01:11:53

Or are you among those who consistently make their prayers every day as long as your constant five times a day wherever they are?

01:11:54--> 01:11:56

Prayer has been established.

01:11:57--> 01:12:03

If that is the case, then the Lord loves you. If it is not, then you better change.

01:12:04--> 01:12:14

May Allah give us all the courage to change ourselves? Having understood the realities and the truth that the Prophet has brought for us because

01:12:16--> 01:12:20

a lot give us the courage help us to make the necessary changes

01:12:21--> 01:12:24

that give us I'd like to thank you for being with us. The program

01:12:26--> 01:12:30

PO Box 111 Sharjah TV to me Dr.

01:12:37--> 01:12:38

Blood here your comments

01:12:40--> 01:12:45

and I hope to see you in the coming segments. lesson I want to go back.

01:12:54--> 01:12:58

Ross manga Rahim. The name of a lava Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

01:13:00--> 01:13:11

I'd like to welcome you the viewers to another in the series. pearls of the Prophet. salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato. The last Peace and blessings to each and every one of you.

01:13:13--> 01:13:17

In this segment, we'll be looking at prophetic advice with regards to dying.

01:13:18--> 01:13:29

But dying in the sense of losing one's life was so going away from us but dying in the sense of using colored dyes in our clothing, and our hair etc.

01:13:33--> 01:13:53

They did and Aslam reported that even Omar used to dye his beard with a yellow dye. So much so that all his clothes became changed with yellow when he was asked why he dyed his hair with yellow dye he replied in New York, he will assume a lot he from a long while he was selling them Yes, that will be

01:13:54--> 01:13:57

well I'm your clean shaven you a human

01:13:59--> 01:14:04

can a Blue Yeti cooler, had a Monica?

01:14:08--> 01:14:22

I saw the Messenger of Allah from a long line he was seldom guy with the yellow guy. And nothing was dear to him that it used to die all his clothes, even his turban

01:14:24--> 01:14:25

now,

01:14:26--> 01:14:29

this was something the companions question

01:14:31--> 01:14:48

he would always Omar some who are not familiar with the status of Prophet Mohammed. They got a funny question because there's also another well known statements of the prophet in which he said the best things of which to change gray hair is henna and cotton.

01:14:49--> 01:14:50

Cotton second being

01:14:51--> 01:14:54

a dark form of hidden

01:14:55--> 01:14:59

deep red, almost into black and black

01:15:01--> 01:15:13

And it should also be mentioned that Prophet Muhammad wa sallam also instructed his companions to change the color of their hair and become white.

01:15:14--> 01:15:16

But to avoid using black.

01:15:18--> 01:15:19

Now,

01:15:21--> 01:15:25

this was a prophetic guidance

01:15:26--> 01:15:31

in the practice of dying, dying of the here

01:15:33--> 01:15:34

that handler was favored.

01:15:36--> 01:15:39

But black was to be avoided. In fact, he said,

01:15:40--> 01:15:46

at the end of time, there will be people who die, they're here, and beards with black die, like the chest.

01:15:48--> 01:15:56

They will not experience even the smell of paradise on the basis of this is considered for him to use black dye.

01:15:59--> 01:15:59

But

01:16:01--> 01:16:02

he said we'll save it

01:16:04--> 01:16:09

along with Katelyn and this yellow dye, which is referred to as

01:16:10--> 01:16:11

yellow dye,

01:16:12--> 01:16:17

which came from a herb something similar to saffron.

01:16:18--> 01:16:27

And this was the practice of the following stuff I love to dye his hair with this yellowish dye, and isn't indicating to a person that there are other colors that maybe use

01:16:29--> 01:16:39

the dyeing of gray hair. This is permissible in Islam, the Prophet negus This message is binding, not only did it when he encouraged his companions to do so.

01:16:40--> 01:16:44

However, as I mentioned, black dye was to be avoided.

01:16:46--> 01:16:49

Furthermore, the clothes

01:16:50--> 01:16:56

it was mentioned, were dyed yellow by the prophet Mohammed they got peace and blessings be upon him. And

01:16:58--> 01:17:04

oftentimes people mistakenly think that the color yellow is also prohibited. However,

01:17:05--> 01:17:06

this is not the case.

01:17:07--> 01:17:13

What was forbidden was really a reddish yellow.

01:17:15--> 01:17:19

Something similar to the color of the garments used by the Buddhist monks

01:17:20--> 01:17:21

unlimited color.

01:17:23--> 01:17:45

our grandfathers saying, when we came with a loss messenger from the valley, I was wearing a reddish yellow garbage. The color was picking up he turned to me and said, What is this garment on you? I realized that he disliked it. So when I came home to my family, I saw it in the fire that they were preparing for the oven.

01:17:46--> 01:17:50

When I came to the Prophet the next day he asked Abdullah, that have you done with your garment?

01:17:52--> 01:17:57

When I informed him he said, Why didn't you give it to your family to wear for there's no harm in it for women.

01:17:59--> 01:18:04

For men, this was a prohibited color. We also have

01:18:05--> 01:18:23

a mistake or misunderstanding that the color red is a predicted color. But there are authentic narrations as the one of Alba arrived in which he said a lot of messenger had here which reaches Hello. And I saw him wearing the most beautiful red garment which I had ever seen.

01:18:25--> 01:18:41

And another narration from out there, he said, I saw like messenger wearing a red cloak at ninja giving a sermon while sitting on the back of a mural. And he was insensitive in repeating what he said in and out voice. So the use of red

01:18:42--> 01:18:56

and yellow as colors by themselves are not prohibitive. It is the reddish yellow that mixture in between which is orange and sort of a bright orange similar to the Buddhist monk robes which are forbidden for men to wear.

01:19:00--> 01:19:00

So

01:19:01--> 01:19:06

our prophetic advice this time has to do with the dying we'll hear

01:19:07--> 01:19:08

that here maybe died

01:19:09--> 01:19:20

if not looked at or look down upon it okay. And it was even encouraged at the proper masala status to his companions and a number of occasions the patient died

01:19:21--> 01:19:41

but we should avoid dying of here. The color black and in our clothing, we should have avoided the bright orange as men and women color the clothing there's a big leeway because also they were also garments

01:19:42--> 01:19:52

which should cover the normal dress that they would wear in their homes or in the presence of family members whom they cannot marry.

01:19:56--> 01:19:57

Without their viewers.

01:19:58--> 01:19:59

I'd like you to

01:20:00--> 01:20:03

reflect on what has been said

01:20:04--> 01:20:08

to apply the principle in your life if you have gray hair

01:20:11--> 01:20:11

dyed

01:20:12--> 01:20:13

advice

01:20:14--> 01:20:15

not to say that you must

01:20:17--> 01:20:28

it is not a requirement, it is from the Sunnah. If he chooses not to, then you should not look down at those who do because it was encouraged by the prophet Muhammad may God's peace and blessings be upon him.

01:20:30--> 01:20:44

And I hope having tapped on this piece of information to you that you would take it in the right spirit and stay within the bounds of profit, they got to be submitted to Parliament.

01:20:46--> 01:20:48

I did not die We do not indicate

01:20:49--> 01:21:26

the way on the disbelievers in their cultures. Where they may you know dye their hair and colors red white and blue you know green or orange you know this wild when dying This is now not dying as a part of the natural course of life but dying for shock value you know dying just to create an image for ourselves or here is already a color we're not going gray or anything and we're changing the color of the hair. You know this kind of dying is not one Islam

01:21:28--> 01:21:28

support

01:21:30--> 01:21:34

Allah has given you black hair or is giving you brown here

01:21:36--> 01:21:37

this is what a lot of giving you

01:21:39--> 01:21:49

need to be changing every week from one color to another color. You want to look like Princess Diana one week and like this other person and next week or whatever, it is not the way

01:21:50--> 01:21:55

Islamic way is to be satisfied with our lives.

01:21:58--> 01:22:01

Where permission has been given for modification you modify

01:22:02--> 01:22:03

color gray hair,

01:22:04--> 01:22:05

trimming our fingernails

01:22:06--> 01:22:08

not plucking eyebrows.

01:22:09--> 01:22:11

Talking of eyebrows has been forbidden by the

01:22:13--> 01:22:19

fixing our teeth if we get cavities, etc. but not shaping and moving and you know, cosmetic

01:22:21--> 01:22:26

changes in our being strive to create other beings

01:22:27--> 01:22:35

where there is something wrong some defects or whatever we try to correct it but not to change ourselves to become other than who we are.

01:22:36--> 01:22:46
