the best of speech, the book of Allah and follow its commandments. And may Allah Subhana Allah make
us amongst those who come to know the best of ways the way of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
		

			and make us amongst his followers. Allahumma Amin Allahumma Amin Allahumma Amin. As you know my
brothers and sisters, these are the days of Hajj and during the time of Hajj, the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam gave one of his last public speeches,
		

			an event that is known as Whittle Wada.
		

			The Fair will hope by sermon that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam delivered on the ninth of

especially nowadays, this idea of the sanctity of life is so absolutely needed. The world has gone
mad the amount of violence that we are witnessing specially in this year 2021 is absolutely crazy.
from Cuba, to Colombia, to Haiti, to Lebanon, to South Africa to Syria, you name it, so much
		

			violence, so much local violence, that 2021 is destined to be the most ridden gun Violent Year in
the last two decades in the United States. We are only in July, and there has been a report of 296
mass shootings in the United States. This is only July in the year is not over yet. And the
definition of mass shooting is an incident where four or more people have been killed. We have had
almost 300 of these in just the beginning of this of this year so far. So the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam tells people, human life, sanctity of human life, sacredness of human life is very
important. And he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam does not stop there. He tells people it's not just
		

			people's lives that are sacred. Their wealth is sacred. Don't take anything that does not belong to
you know your Hindu man who elaborately BFC men, the wealth of anybody is not halal, unless they
willingly gave it to you.
		

			None of it is halal unless it was taken or given by people willingly the Prophet sallallahu alayhi

			Then he goes, not only their property and their wealth and their life, but also their honor. Don't
speak ill of people. And subhanAllah the more we honor these things that don't speak ill of people,
don't take something that does not belong to you, then it even becomes more important that you don't
even think about killing people. So the Prophet peace be upon him, tells us about the sanctity of
life. But he the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam does something so beautiful here, he tells
people, that human life is as sacred as this month, as sacred as this day, the day of Arafah as
sacred as displace the city of Mecca. Because sometimes, unfortunately, we have a tendency, being
		

			very shallow and being very immature, that we give importance to things to buildings to times more
than we do to human life.
		

			It was said that one time the Prophet peace be upon him, looking at the Kaaba, a sacred Houseman,
built by Ibrahim Ali Salam, the very first house that was built dedicated to the Oneness of Allah

			We were bored. That's what they said. We were born we did not know what to do. So we decided to
entertain ourselves by killing somebody else. May Allah Subhana Allah save us Europa, Allah mean,
such foolishness.
		

			They were those who kill don't know why they're killing. And those who were killed, don't even know
why they're being killed. So the Prophet peace be upon him gives this human charter. Listen, all
mankind, everybody listen to this. Set your lives, your property, your honor, a sacred like this
month, like this place like this, like this day.
		

			And then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam goes on reminds people who are in a subtle corner

he says, usually interest from now on mobile, it is all laid aside. The idea of lending people in
their times of need, exploiting them, by charging them interest said that these are improper
financial, improper financial deals.
		

			And then he gave the example and he said, and the first one that we are going to do is that of my
own family, my own uncle, Al Abbas, who use in the pre Islamic era, lend people money, charge them
interest, his own interest is going to be the first one that is going to be laid aside. But we live
in an era and in a culture, where interest is just the way of doing of doing things.
		

			John Perkins writes a book published in 2004, he used to work for the US foreign policy. He writes a
book and the title of the book is The Confessions of an ex, economic hitman. And he speaks and he
says, My job was to convince third world countries to take loans that we know they cannot afford to
pay back. He said, that was my job. Why would you do this? He said, we give them the loans, fully
knowing and the loans are given in the form of big projects, engineering projects, that can only be
done by US corporations said we give them these projects, they cannot pay it back. And as such, we
have access to the natural resources, we have access to political influence. And not only that, but
		

			the corporations are getting richer, while the poor are getting poorer. Let me give you an example.

			organda pays the equivalent of $2 a month for the health care system for every citizen in Uganda.
The same country pays $11 a month just to cover the interest on the loans that the country has taken

			He said we would give people these loans, fully known
		

			They will not be able to pay it back. And that is when we get to exploit them.
		

			So the prophets Allahu alayhi wa sallam refers to this and he says, this type of financial
transaction, they are improper.
		

			They take advantage of people, even though too many of us, you know, we just deal with it and
somehow, you know what, my credit card this and my credit card that and but to go this way, just
don't think of yourself. Think of what is happening to other people as well. So the Prophet peace be
upon him speaks about matters issues that are impacting the global society here. And that is this
whole idea of rebirth and that is why we as believers, you know, we shouldn't these practices,
sometimes you're forced into it, but the exception can never be the rule, man, nor the idea of just
living off your credit card. That is not, that is not good. That's not a healthy lifestyle. Somebody
		

			beautifully once defined what a credit card is, he said, a credit card is a tool by which we buy
things we don't need with one with money that we don't have at a price that we cannot afford to
impress people we don't even like
		

			they're how we live. That's how you live. That's how you live life, said colourable Jaya Hillier

we begin with is something that is within our own family and hearth, a young boy he was
breastfeeding and and he was killed and the people are going after this type of who they are wanting
to kill back and the Prophet sallallahu sallam said, everything, all that foolishness now comes to
an end. And to set an example, I am going to begin with my own family. And then the Prophet
		

			sallallahu alayhi wa sallam continues to tell us about not just peace outside, not just the sanctity
of human life, not just the idea of shunning improper financial deals, or just the idea of you know,
giving back that which has been given to us for safekeeping. Then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam is addresses. Yes, he's addressing all people. But then there is this time taken to address
men. And what does he say Sal, Allahu alayhi wa sallam. He said, Are you a nurse?
		

			In Nalini, sir Yquem Alikum helper said, Oh, mankind.
		

			Your wives have rights.
		

			We're in the law. kumara haka, and you also have rights.
		

			And then the Prophet peace be upon him proceeds to tell us that this woman was haram
		

			until she became Halal lawful to you, when we pronounced that we are taking them in the name of
Allah subhanaw taala.
		

			You know, when you listen to Muslims vows, we don't have a vow, but we have an exchange of Ebola and
palop, you know, you make there is a polyp, you make a Shitala
		

			you make a proposal, and then the proposal is accepted. You make the proposal. What do you say in
the proposal is a I am marrying this woman, you know, in accordance to the book of Allah and the
Sunnah of the Prophet salallahu, alayhi wasallam and the dowry agreed upon. Now, if you hear non
Muslims weddings, people exchange vows, and these Vows are beautiful, I promise to honor to love and
until death do us apart and this is a beautiful bow. However, we believe that there is more value in
what has been said by the believers. And that is we begin this family with the name of Allah
subhanho wa taala. Because the tendency is when we are married, we treat each other very well. As
		

			long as we are in public.
		

			When in public, we're very nice to each other,
		

			appear to be very romantic. She takes good care of her husband, they're very nice to each other. But
we know that in marriage,
		

			what we do in public is not the most important. What is most important is what do we do to each
other? When no one is looking?
		

			That is what's most important. So during the time of exchanging these vows, the proposals and the
acceptance of the proposal, what do people say, you don't have to worry about this for I made Allah
my witness that I will be good to you be us in public or be us in private. I'll be good to you. And

circle of concern. Our circle of concern is the globe. But our circle of influence is our immediate
family. So we want to take care of our families. Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is telling
brothers, be good to your wives. And by extension, he's also asking wives to be good to their
husbands as well. If we're not good to each other at that level, then what happens afterwards? And
that's not that's not important. That just becomes a facade. It just becomes a it just becomes a
issue.
		

			And then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam goes on and he speaks about the fraternity of the
Ummah and that's such a beautiful thing. The fraternity of the ummah. Yeah, your nurse in normal

			said all mankind said remember that the believers are but one OMA, remember Subhanallah that the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam here he is speaking to a universal crowd. Some people come from
Yemen, some were locals, some art from Medina, some came from Syria. Others came from a very senior

is not superior to an Arab. And an Arab is not

more than any time, be it individual racism, be it systematic racism, be it racism that comes in the
form of police brutality, whatever it is meant, we shun it, we speak against it, but most important

			does not impact how we behave. Then what we believe in is not important.
