The importance of history and the use of history to inform our understanding of the natural world is emphasized. The Prophet system is damaged by the presence of other wives and the woman who was supposed to have the most beautiful was revealed to be Judy Santa Monica Solis. The conversation then shifts to a situation where the army is trying to find a necklace for a woman named Joem and she faced a difficult decision to leave her house and felt uncomfortable leading her.

00:01:21
Now we are continuing the story of our mother, I shall do LaWanda, I had already finished part one.
And I had gone over some of the biographical details of Chateau de la one of them is that her
lineage of them we talked about the fact that every blessing about aboubaker applies to a Chateau de
la juanda. As well, I had mentioned that there is unanimous consensus amongst all of the scholars of
Islam, pre modernity about her age, there's only a modern controversy. And we're going to come to
that maybe next week or the week afterwards. But my position is that there is no need to change the
our past historical facts, unless it is a inconclusive issue that that you really must look at the
00:01:21 -->
00:01:58
facts again, in this case, the reason why I showed the last one is ages found problematic is because
of a cultural reason. It is not because of a fact. And because of this, I don't find the evidence to
be in any way shape, or form or form strong enough to go back and redo all of Islamic history. And
we're going to come back to that later on. Also, I had mentioned that she was the only wife of a
professor sent him who was shown to him in a dream where Jubilee came and brought him the finger of
Ayesha wrapped in a silk. And our Prophet system said if this is true, then it's going to come to
pass, and indeed came to pass. Now, in today's lecture, I actually am in a bit of a dilemma. And
00:01:58 -->
00:02:38
that is what is to say about Ayesha, because there's so much to say, not that we don't have enough
to say, in some of our mothers, male babies with all of them, our information is so little that I'm
going to be struggling about what to say about them. But with regards to eyeshadow, the long line,
we have over 2000, a hadith narrated about her regarding her. So where does one begin to choose from
it's like an encyclopedia out there. And so what I've decided to do for today, is to choose as many
a hadith about her regarding her meaning incidents that took place in their lifetimes. And most of
these incidents we've all heard here and there, we're going to put them together with regards to
00:02:38 -->
00:03:17
trying to develop a more thorough biography of not just our issues Life and Times, but also her
characteristic, her relationship with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And I'm going to
start off with talking about the love that she had for our prophets, Allah said them and the love
that the Prophet sallallahu I do set him had for her. And this is something that is motivated and
well known. It is even true to say their love was so well known that the other Sahaba and even the
other wives used that love when they wanted to get to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. I
already mentioned in the last lecture, very interesting fact that when somebody wanted to give
00:03:17 -->
00:03:55
something to the Prophet sallallahu sallam, they would ask what is the day of Arusha, and based on
that they would then gift and this made the other wives very irritated for a legitimate reason. And
this is something the process man could not control, as well. The famous Hadith in Sahih Bahati that
the Prophet that our Isha says, and all the most of these ahaadeeth are narrated by Irish,
obviously, that I should have said that I would drink water from a cup during my menses, what would
the reason why she mentioned during her menses was to make a point that the lady in her menses
doesn't become religious, nothing wrong with our drink water during my menses from a cup, and then
00:03:55 -->
00:04:31
give it to the profitsystem. And he would turn the cup so that his lips would touch exactly where my
lips had touch. And I would be eating meat from a bone from a chicken or bone. And then I would give
it to the profitsystem. And he would move it so that his lips would touch exactly where my lips had
touched. And this is the famous idea of insight, Bahati, by the way, notice that in both of these
incidents, she is the one beginning to eat and drink, which shows the gentleman nature of the
process of that he gives the wife the food, first season jump on, and some of our cultures and this
is, you know, nothing right or wrong. Each one has its pros and cons, but in some of our cultures,
00:04:31 -->
00:04:59
that women don't eat until the men eat, whereas we see in the household of the process of issues,
the one eating first drinking first, and then she gives it to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam. And the reason why I mentioned menses, as we said, is that in pre Islamic culture in Medina,
the women were following from the Jewish law and it is still to this day, some segments of Jewish
law still have this that the lady in her menses, she becomes a type of nudges such that anything she
touches
00:05:00 -->
00:05:38
Nobody else can eat and drink from it. She cannot sit on the same table. She cannot use the same
utensils for the whole week. She has to go and sit somewhere else and drink somewhere else and sleep
somewhere else. She has a separate bed or the husband and wife have separate beds during that week
long. And and this was something that the unsought picked up from the hood. So the reason why she's
saying the other hand he says that I would comb his hair while I was in my menses, why is she
mentioning that she's in her menses to make the fifth key point that a lady in her menses can do
edema can cook can eat and drink with the husband can sleep on the same bed in the husband, the
00:05:38 -->
00:06:18
obviously the only thing that is prohibited is the one conjugal act otherwise, eating, drinking,
combing the hair, all of this is halal. And I should said going to origin I would comb the hair of
the process of him and he would be on my lap while I would be on my menses, even the proximity of
the hair or the head of the Prophet system doesn't matter. That's not she does not become nudges.
Rather, only one act would not be allowed everything else is allowed. And I shall the Allahu Ana
herself said that this hadith isn't even hibben that one day the process was in a very good mood. So
I said yeah, rasulillah make a dog for me. Oh, the ruler, Holly. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
00:06:18 -->
00:07:04
sallam said Allah homophily issue among them among them be how Amata hora Toma a sutra Toma Island
it ALLAH forgive Ayesha, all of her sins, the one that she has done, and the one that she's still
going to do, and the one that she has hidden and the one that is open. And Ayesha was so happy, she
began to laugh out loud, and in her laughter she fell back onto her bed, and her happiness was very
apparent. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Did my dog make you this happy? She said
yes. And he said she said but of course almost and drove a law. He said it's a famous Hadith he
said, Will law he This is the same do I make for my entire oma after every single seller I make for
00:07:04 -->
00:07:44
my entire home I make it after every single seller. This is a special because I show his name was
mentioned. But the concept or love forgive my sins their own or forgive my own mother sins, all of
the sins of the past and the present the open and the secret. He said I make this do it regularly
for my own. But of course he specified Arusha which of course is a much bigger deal. When you say
the whole oma versus you say Ayesha obviously Ayesha has a much more blessed share in the same day
that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam makes, and his love for our show was so well known that
he would actually make dua to Allah to forgive him for what he could not control, famous Hadith and
00:07:44 -->
00:08:30
Bahati. Our Prophet system, as ns said he would kinda yuksom or he would make custom between all of
his wives, meaning in terms of time, and in terms of money, and then he would make dua to Allah,
that our law This is my fairness and justice between my wives as much as I can control FEMA amulek.
So Oh, Allah, forgive me, FEMA amlak. Forgive me for what I cannot control, meaning the love of
Ayesha I cannot control that love. So forgive me for that I cannot control that is in my heart. But
in terms of time, and in terms of money, that is something in my hand, I can control it. So he would
say to Allah, oh, Allah, this is my fairness, from what I can control. And oh, Allah, forgive me for
00:08:30 -->
00:09:10
what I cannot control. And, of course, the most famous incident or one of the most famous, I'm not
going to go into the whole idea. As you all know, it is the race that took place between Russia and
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And this is one of the most oft quoted stories, and one of
the most playful demonstrations of that love between the two of them, that our Prophet salallahu
idea he was sent them twice in his lifetime, that we know of maybe even more than this, but twice
that we know of that he had a race with Irish and the middle of the desert. And again, I mean, just
imagine, obviously, these are explicit details not mentioned. But we can put our imagination at what
00:09:10 -->
00:09:31
that when you raise somebody, you have to make a starting line, you have to put out a finish post,
you have to say some type of On your marks, get set, go. This is around the world, when you have a
race, that's what you do. And so the Profit System in Asia are racing one another in the desert. And
as you all know, that the first time around that Asia was the younger one.
00:09:32 -->
00:09:59
Meaning that she said I was still young in age, and so I beat the Prophet system. And so she would
make fun of this that I beat you I beat you now after this the Prophet system, then, you know, maybe
he prepared for the race a lot more than that. We don't know, you know, how, what not but the next
time I said I gained some weight, and so the profits are set and then, you know, won the race and it
goes, this one makes up for that one, right. Like any person would do, any person would do when
they're winning the races.
00:10:00 -->
00:10:38
Look, I want you this time that so the playfulness is there. And it is one of those most famous
anecdotes in the life of the Prophet. And I should have the love honor that we are privy to, as I
said last time, and it is understood, much of these details should be hidden and they are hidden.
But what we know is enough to extrapolate the full picture. There's also a hadith in Sahih Muslim,
that once one of the neighbors of the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam, who was either from
Persia or had lived in Persia, and he was known for his cuisine for his trouble, they say his
cuisine, that he invited, the prophet said, he sent a messenger, he said, his labor whatever, invite
00:10:38 -->
00:11:21
the Prophet salallahu idea he was sending them. So the Prophet system was in the house of Arusha.
And he knew that I shall also loved that cuisine or that food. And so he asked the messenger,
invitation only for me, or for both of us. And the messenger probably didn't know didn't have the
rights to extrapolate. So he said, it's only for you. And so, the processor politely refused. So
then it comes back, no, no, for both of you come. So then he went with Russia, and he then
participated in the food, and this shows us so many interesting details of them, this is something
that can possibly derived and inshallah Tada, if it can be derived, then I am definitely following
00:11:21 -->
00:12:01
that sooner. And that is the love of exotic cuisines. Because this was Persian cuisine, that it was
a fantasy cuisine is not the typical one. And the process of knew he liked it, and he liked it. So
to try different foods and to like that, so the processes and wanted it. But here we have as well,
the interesting point, that when an invitation comes, the invitation cannot be extrapolated to
others without the permission of the host, even if it is somebody that is your family, or your loved
one or your wife. So the Prophet system had to ask, is the invitation only for me, or for me and
Asia? And perhaps the servant, as they said, the most of the Assumption will be that the servant
00:12:01 -->
00:12:37
doesn't have the right he's worried what will my master say? Whatever. So he restricted it, even
though it's not conceivable that that the actual host would say, so most likely there is this
miscommunication. So the servant says, oh, only for you. So then he politely declines. And this
shows that it is not obligatory to accept an invitation. It's not wajib you may decline for any
legitimate reason. And some people, you know, they go to extremes in this regard that Oh, you must
respond to the Dawa to Lima as it is said, and the Hadith, the process of responding to the doubt to
Lima because one of the heads he says, it is the right upon the other Muslim that when your Muslim
00:12:37 -->
00:13:13
brother invites you, you accept because you should honor the commitment. But This video demonstrates
the point is you except if you're able to not watch it, in this case, what is the excuse, the
process of did not want to leave it alone. And he is taking care of her feelings like you know how
you would feel or she would feel that Oh, I'm all alone. Now it's my night, we only have once a week
to be together. And on this night, somebody else invited him. So in all likelihood, there were two
reasons of them. He knows that she likes this food. And of them. He doesn't want to ask you to be
alone on the evening that he has with her after the whole week is coming one night of the week as
00:13:13 -->
00:13:29
Ayesha. And so he wants to spend time with her. So when the host says Oh, the both of you can come.
So now it becomes something that they can both go and eat. And so he requests the presence of Arusha
to come to that invitation. And this also demonstrates that
00:13:30 -->
00:14:08
it is allowed to request the host to increase I mean, there's nothing wrong with that, that when you
get an invitation to say, Oh, I have a friend with me, can I bring him along, or there's family
members, whatever it might be, it just has that. And it is the right of the host to say yes or no
both ways back and forth. As we see in this invitation, also of the famous hadith of Arusha, and it
is famous in many Arab speaking circles in English, it's not that famous because it's very, very
complicated. It's a hadith in Sahih, Bukhari and Muslim. And the reason why most English speakers
have never heard of it is because to give a lecture about this hadith would require a very, is just
00:14:08 -->
00:14:51
going to deconstruct advanced Arabic. It's a beautiful poetic Hadith. And the summary of it is that
a group of ladies came to visit Arusha. And they all began to talk and they discussed stories of
fables of husbands and wives. Okay, so it's basically fables are being mentioned or pre Islamic
stories are being mentioned. And they are 11 in number, and the Hadith goes over all 11 you know,
very quickly, each one is just a line or a paragraph or so. And the point is to each one is supposed
to derive some benefit or some, you know, lesson. And for our minds, those one line stories are not
juicy enough in English and Arabic, or they're poetic. In Arabic, the phrases are very advanced. And
00:14:51 -->
00:15:00
that's why, for example, they've been hedged, has five pages of commentary on one Hadith, because
the Arabic in them is very deep, and it's very advanced.
00:15:00 -->
00:15:44
And I can assure you the average out of here would not understand this Hadith, because it's so
classical Arabic any book that mentions it, you'll have long footnotes with every word means it's
poetry in the guise of a story. Basically, it's not actual poetry, but it is poetic. And so for our
purposes, we'll just summarize the 11 story out of these 11. The 11 Story deals with two characters
by the name of Abu Zubaydah and oma Zara. And it's a story in which oma Zara and Abu Zara are deeply
in love with one another. And oma Zara in particular is very much in love with a Bousada. But
something happens a divorce takes place, and then marries a wealthier person, and a more higher
00:15:44 -->
00:16:24
prestige rank person, and a person who has more status, everything. But she basically says, if you
were to give me everything of this world to her second husband, it wouldn't be a fraction of what
busara gave me because of the love. So it's a very powerful love story like that. Right? And so the
Prophet sallallahu I sent him said that my love for you, right is like the love of Abu Zahra for
almanzora. Except that I will never divorce you. Okay, so that's a reassurance to Ayesha. Not that
she needed. It was a reassurance that you know, that strong love. And out of all of these 11
stories, the one that has the strongest Love is the 11th one. So the prophecies are famously
00:16:24 -->
00:17:03
remarked that my love for you is like the love of Abu Zahra for all Masada, that love that was there
later on Nina opondo. But don't worry, I'm not going to divorce you because and that story takes
place. So here we have again, you know, a very interesting tidbit of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam. Also, in the week that he passed away, the prophet SAW Selim began to go weaker and
weaker as we know. And the two weeks before he passed away, until finally in the last week, he could
not stand up. And he then had to call all of his wives and ask permission in a very gentle manner,
that he said, you see the state that I am in. So if you think it's permissible, I would like to
00:17:03 -->
00:17:42
spend my days in our issues house, meaning I cannot go house to house, I have to choose the house.
Now, I'm not able to physically stand up. So if you think it is okay, Then may I spend the time that
I chose house, and obviously, all of them allowed him to spend his final days in the house of
Chateau de la Juana. And therefore, the entire last week of his life, he was in the house of Arusha.
And it's so happened as I shall always would boast afterwards, that and the day that he died, was
actually my day anyway, that in the whole rotation, it was supposed to meet my day anyway. And the
day that he died was my day, and the week before he died, was in my house. So this is another
00:17:42 -->
00:17:50
blessing that he had solo or that she had a solo or to send them also the the famous Hadeeth that we
have,
00:17:51 -->
00:17:57
that during that last week, when the process was about to die, I should didn't know that. Obviously,
she didn't even it didn't even occur to her
00:17:59 -->
00:18:39
in the beginning that the process and would die. But in the first few days of that, the Prophet
sallallahu it said and wanted to prepare for his death. And there's a famous Hadith in Bahati that
during that week, when the processor was high and fever lying on his bed, he also had some type of
migraine. And so she walked in with her hands on her head, you know, just rocking and saying, Well,
sir, wow, right, sir. Which in Arabic means Oh, my head, wha, sir, is the way that you say Oh, my,
whatever you put what is so there's a way to Arabic is such a beautiful language as a way to draw
attention to pain. And that's by putting the wall live, and then the elephant, the end of the world.
00:18:39 -->
00:18:39
So we're
00:18:41 -->
00:19:23
like, Oh, my head, that's what it means the pain in my head. And so she's shaking her head, and the
profitsystem looked at her and he's about to pass away, and he knows this, and he wants to prepare
our issue that get ready for the news of passing away. So he cracked a joke at this point, to try to
believe it or not bring up the topic of death. And he said to her famously, he said that rather
you're saying, Oh, my head rather it should be wired, or should be Oh, my head? And then he said,
and what? And what is the you know, what would be the matter? Like, why would you mind if you passed
away because of this suffering right now? because in that case, I would be here to lead your janazah
00:19:23 -->
00:20:00
and give you a hospital and pray for you and do different for you. What more could you want that for
me to pray over you? So the point is he's trying to bring in janazah and death and whatnot in a
Believe it or not, semi humorous way like, you know, crack a joke, like why are you worried? In
other words, he's about to die, but he's just opening up the subject of of death, but of course, is
just still young and her mind doesn't go there. Her mind goes somewhere else. And her mind goes to
what would he do if I'm not here? And so she immediately her hero, he comes up and she and she said
yes, I am sure on the same evening of
00:20:00 -->
00:20:41
My death, you will be found at another wife's house. Like she's feeling that like, Oh, so you're
trying to hit that I should be away from the scenario so that you will be able to go and you will
find you know, another wife to go and find comfort in. And so you find this this sense of Avira. And
of course, there are so many instances of this era. And it's no problem to mention this at half of
the bin *, he comments about one particular incident with that data, which we'll talk about now.
And he said, this era, this feeling of rivalry and jealousy between co wives, it is a natural
feeling that Allah will not punish for as long as it is kept within normal bounds. And it is a sign
00:20:41 -->
00:21:25
of love. Because where does the data come from? Like, why does she feel this, because she wants the
lion's share of attention. And even if she has it, she wants even more. And it is held on for her to
want this. And it is a sign of love to want this. So there's nothing wrong with her wanting to have
the entire attention and love of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And there are so many, you
know, interesting stories, you know, semi-humorous many of them about this, this this, you know,
natural healer, between the wives, and in particular, a shadow of the love line. And it is
interesting that even though she knew she was the most beloved, she knew it, still, her hero kept on
00:21:25 -->
00:22:08
coming up. And this is a sign of number one, her innocence and her young nature because she was the
youngest wife. And number two also it is a sign of love, that her love was so much she wasn't
satisfied still having the lion's share. She wants any competition and that would you know, inspire
in her. And she herself mentioned that the wives of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam would be divided
into two groups on the one hand Arusha at their head, and there was half Sophia and soda This is one
camp, they would be friendly with one another. And on the other camp, it was the two main rivals are
Miss Ella and Xena especially Xena was we're gonna come through Zeno that Ayesha always felt that
00:22:08 -->
00:22:50
the only lady who really had a competition with her in terms of love was aina even though of course,
she was number one. But she knew that the process of had you know a feeling strong feelings for her.
And so this obviously it didn't sit well with her and even within the same camp. So you know, this
is this is well known fact she herself much as it should have slept Sophia and so that these four,
put in one camp, okay. And on the other side were the two main figures and the others were kind of
sort of minor. And the two main figures are oma salah and Xena, okay, these were basically they
didn't quite get along fully, even though they were friendly. But as you know, tensions happen and
00:22:50 -->
00:23:29
sometimes when they happen, so the wise find comfort in one camp versus the other camp. This does
not mean that there was no rivalry between the same members of the same camp. Know, in the end of
the day, there is rivalry. And there's a famous head Ethan Bahati that demonstrates this that Ayesha
herself narrates that once, whenever the process of went on a journey, that he would draw lots
between his wives. So there's You don't have to be fair in the journey because in the journey, you
know, you only going one plate, you know, one occasion, you cannot take all of your wives, which one
is going to go you draw lots and you all know know what lats are, you basically have certain
00:23:29 -->
00:24:07
markers, one of them gets the picked and the other doesn't. So you put it in a bag or whatever, you
pull one out and whichever one has it is the one that is chosen. And you don't have to be fair on a
journey. If you cannot take everyone if you can take everyone then find otherwise you don't have to
be fair. And most of the journeys he didn't take any wife, some journeys, who took one wife, some
rare journeys, who took two or more wives for the Hajj, he took all of them. So in this particular
journey, he could take two of the wives and so I she says that the Lord came for me and half saw and
hafsa is her same camp. Okay, absolutely the same camp. And so when they're preparing for the
00:24:07 -->
00:24:46
journey, they're packing everything you know hafsa goes to her and houses older and you know these
are things that are forgiven and overlooked between co wives in this regard and have said kinda
sorta Annie does something and says that look, let's do something exciting. Let's swap our caravans
without telling anybody. Okay, you sit on my camel all sit on your camel. Let's see what happens. I
should didn't go two steps ahead. She's just the Oh something exciting. Okay, let's do something
different. You know how it is just do something different. And so she sat in helps us and helps us
set in our issues holder. So they swapped over. And I showed then explains why she understood too
00:24:46 -->
00:25:00
late. That outside of course, the processor only sees the whole agenda Campbell. He doesn't know
which one went where. And it was the custom of the Profit System to add the night when it was you
know, long journey. He would put his
00:25:00 -->
00:25:42
camel, and he would just walk next to the camel of Arusha, just talking with her, you know, until it
came time to camp and spend the night. And so the process and put his Camel Up to the camel of
Russia. And he began talking and ISIS and the other camel. And she realized what hafsa had done.
Okay. And when it came time to camp, then he remained with hafsa. And Ayesha was alone. And this is
fair in that type situation scenario, because it wasn't quite allotted. And so I should being the
young girl that she was, she herself narrates when she's narrating she's in her 50s or 60s, she
narrates and she's a young teenager. And she said that that night, I took my feet, and I felt some
00:25:42 -->
00:26:23
thorns, you know, in the bush. And so I stuck my feet into the thorns, and I started making against
myself that Oh, Allah sent a scorpion or send a snake to go bite me, okay, because she herself says
I couldn't say anything to have. So it was something she asked me and I swapped with her. So you
know, sometimes you get angry and you make these types of things and inshallah they are forgiven.
Yeah. And it's not something that we should read into. And if she was young and whatnot, and these
things like like we said, It is only natural to happen. And as well, when another instance of
Riviera as well takes place and it shows you the Prophet system always kept his maintain his
00:26:23 -->
00:26:24
dignity.
00:26:25 -->
00:27:01
That when the verses came down, in which Allah subhanho wa Taala gave the option to all of the wives
to either get a lot of money or remain remember that we went over this, instead of that, you know,
when they were complaining and they wanted a luxurious lifestyle, and Allah subhana wa tada revealed
in the Koran, if you want the money, to Eileen Come, I will give you money, and I will let you go
your way. But if you want to live with Elon, His Messenger, we're going to live a simple life, you
know, he had the money as we know, but he didn't want to live that lifestyle as we know. And so all
of the so this verse came down.
00:27:02 -->
00:27:41
And this is of course, the famous time when the 29 days passed by in the process of was living in
the masjid, you know, we went over this in the Seattle, you know, the tense situation. And, you
know, one month came by, and he didn't approach any of his wives. And he was basically sleeping in
the masjid. And then Allah Subhana, WA, tada revealed, that look, you will have this choice. If you
want the money, you will get a nice amount. And then you go your way, and there's going to be a
thought out, or you stay with me, and you will have Alan is messenger, and we will live a simple
life. And so when the verse came down the head, he says, The first wife, he went to was Ayesha, the
00:27:41 -->
00:28:27
first wife, he went to his house, and he himself was worried that she might be hasty in the choice.
And so he began by saying, Arusha, Allah has revealed, versus that's going to be a choice for you.
Do not make a hasty decision. Don't make up your mind before you ask your father and mother. Take
your time. So he didn't want to shove in her youthful nature. Maybe he was worried, you know, you're
going to just be make a hasty decision, then regret it. And he wanted to remain with him, obviously.
And so he begins this way. Then she says, What is the choice? Then he recites the verse, Then she
says, And is this something I need to ask my mother and father about? There is no choice other than
00:28:27 -->
00:28:48
to remain with you. In other words, despite her young age, and despite the fear, even from the
process of that she might, you know, make a hasty choice. She goes, what I don't need to ask
anybody, I don't need to go to my mother and father about this, I will choose Allah and His
messenger. And as the saying goes, You never looked back. None of them ever looked back. But then in
her era, she saw an opportunity.
00:28:49 -->
00:28:50
What is the opportunity here?
00:28:53 -->
00:28:56
The other wives can now be let go.
00:28:57 -->
00:29:03
And so she said, the other pseudo law, don't tell anybody that I chose to stay.
00:29:05 -->
00:29:20
Let them think that something else happened, right. So that the playing field is made empty, and
then I can see she's, you know, she wants this, you know, and, again, as I've been hedger says,
these are all things that we overlook, it's not something that
00:29:21 -->
00:29:23
is it, it doesn't
00:29:24 -->
00:29:59
hurt or harm. One's a man, these natural feelings that take place, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam said no, if any of them asked, I will tell the truth. I mean, I cannot do like this. If
anybody if any one of them asked I will tell them for what law he allowed did not send me to make
things difficult. Rather, he sent to me to make things easy, and to be a teacher. Meaning I have to
this is a role model moment now. I can't be playing delicious games like this. Allah did not send me
to make things difficult. The other wires
00:30:00 -->
00:30:34
Also have their house just because you want to doesn't mean they should not have it. Allah did not
send me to make things difficult. Rather, he sent me to make things more Yes, sir, to make things
easy and more I limped to be a teacher to teach them. This is a teaching moment that I should
remembered. And she's the one who tells us the story, even though she's the one who asked it. And
this again goes back to a point, we're going to come to Charlotte, maybe next week, the fifth of our
show the intelligence of our Asia, much of what we have about her, some of which seems to be
somewhat negative, she is the one narrating it, but she is narrating it many years later, when she's
00:30:34 -->
00:31:08
much older and mature. And she wants us to learn from some of the things that she herself did. So
she's telling us, I said to the process of don't tell any of your wives kind of sort of give the
other impression, right, that okay, she's gone, whatnot. And the Prophet system corrected me know, I
have to tell the truth. If anyone asks me, I will tell them, you know, it's up to them, if they ask,
I'm not gonna lie. And I'm not going to be duplicitous in this scheme. If that's not what Allah sent
before. I have to be fair and square, if they asked me so and so this is a very interesting point
here. But the fact that he begins with Russia, and the fact that I should respond to the way that
00:31:08 -->
00:31:17
you did, again, this shows, you know, her, not only her love, but also her zero, as well. Another
very famous incident
00:31:18 -->
00:31:29
is reported in Bahati as well. And it's against Pamela human emotions, you know, we shouldn't read
in too much any human human emotions or human emotions. Remember her main rival was whom?
00:31:30 -->
00:31:50
Xena, okay, it's so happened that one day the process, some had guests who were visiting the house
of Artesia, so he had some men sitting, and he's giving them whatever talk or whatever it might be
an issue is, you know, behind, you know, the curtain, and Zane vintage ash sends a plate of food
00:31:51 -->
00:31:54
for the processor and his guests, but he's in the house of
00:31:55 -->
00:32:06
Asia. Now, completely permissible, giving the get guests and whatnot. Of course, he feels a double.
Any problem, right?
00:32:07 -->
00:32:08
You understand?
00:32:09 -->
00:32:32
Not only is it Zainab, but there is this connotation that you're not going to take care, let me take
care, okay, like let me send the food for the guests. So as she became so angry, that the men are
sitting there and from behind the curtain, they hear her pick up the plate and smash it on the
ground, and it splinters to pieces.
00:32:34 -->
00:33:14
So the whole plate of food, and the whole platter just breaks. And the processor is sitting with his
guests. And so Pamela he doesn't bat an eyelid and he doesn't. He doesn't say anything other than
other laudate or mokum. Your mother has shown her tiara. He doesn't criticize her. And he doesn't
get angry at her. He simply makes an excuse that is not even an excuse in the sense of just
explaining you know that the messenger comes you could hear maybe the the messenger calm saying
that, you know, zeyneb sends a gift of a plate. Next thing there, here's crash smash, everything,
you know, anger, whatever, you can hear things in the behind. And so the process understands the men
00:33:14 -->
00:33:59
understand and he simply says, Your mother has shown her Liana and then Subhan Allah, He didn't say
one reproach to our issues, human emotion. Right? He takes whatever of the food is salvageable.
Because you know, our process will never through three, two, he picked it up from the floor and or
dust it off, and whatever is salvageable he takes and then he takes a plate from the dishes of
Artesia and sends it back to Xena, that this is your fault, she will get a plate of a similar value
back. And he Subhanallah What a beautiful, simple fifthly moral story, anecdote an incident in the
life of the process of them. That just speaks volumes, doesn't it? without, you know, I mean, I
00:33:59 -->
00:34:40
think any of us, we would have started yelling and screaming at our wife. You've embarrassed us How
dare you this and that. The process of this he doesn't. He doesn't do me it's not it's too petty for
him. He doesn't get involved in that level. Okay, I should do something he's not going to come down
and get between this. But Ayesha broke somebody else's property. And that's not right. And so she
has to give her dish, a dish that is perfectly fine and acceptable. And that's going to go to now,
Zane dubs house, and as for the food, no food is thrown away just like that. So he literally picked
it up and whatever was dusting, you know, you know, the sooner if it falls, you dust it off, and
00:34:40 -->
00:34:59
then you eat from it. So this again shows us the zero of eyeshadow de la Juana. And also the the
mature nature of the professor seemed to not really get involved between these intro wife disputes
in this level than simply you know, take the the mature leader at that we expect him to be
00:35:00 -->
00:35:00
And
00:35:02 -->
00:35:14
her theater is demonstrated in so many other traditions as well. of them is of course, the famous
incident of balloon was stuck, which we're going to talk about when where the idea was married. And
00:35:15 -->
00:35:37
July Chateau de la Juana was sitting in the masjid was sitting in her house, excuse me. And as you
know, the curtain was something she could just lift up and see into the men's side, and they
couldn't look back in, you know, it was dark and whatnot. So imagine if somebody sitting, you know,
on that side and whatnot, you cannot see inside the house, she had access outside. And she herself
said that
00:35:39 -->
00:36:23
Julia Vinton had with when she came to plead on behalf of the other captives, right. So I had heard
of her beauty. And I lifted up the curtain when she came, and I hated her. As soon as I saw her, she
said she, this was her words cut into her. I hated her as soon as I saw her, because I knew that the
profit system would see in her what I am also seeing meaning she is a young, single lady, attractive
Lady and the processor said to her, I'll marry you and returned for your freedom. Like in this
sense, she came asking her freedom. So he married her. And as you know, all of the animals started
her freedom. We're going to come to that story when we come to it. But the point is that she felt
00:36:23 -->
00:37:12
this Viola and she confessed, like as soon as I saw her, I hated her. And it wasn't just, it wasn't
just Julia. The same happened with Sofia been to Hawaii as well. When they came back from high bar
news had already came to Medina that the processor has married Sophia. And so she herself narrates
the story, that the minute that they came back, I disguised myself and I covered myself didn't occur
to me, I wore a disguise, and I rushed out so that I can see Sophia, as she's coming in. So she is
monitoring the wires that are coming in now I want to see what she looks like. And she wore clothes
that others would not have recognized your worth. And she said that the Profit System still
00:37:12 -->
00:37:49
recognize me from my eyes. Okay, so she's wearing full color, full color and everything. But, you
know, I mean, most of you guys probably don't know this. But when you're living in a society full of
Nepali ladies, you can easily recognize your wife simply by the eyes, okay. And anybody who lives in
an Applebee's society and I did for over a decade, I can assure you 10,000 women literally coming
out of the house, and I can recognize my wife instantaneously, and it's only you have to live there.
Otherwise, the first week you go, everybody looks the same. Okay? But once you live in that society,
the eyes are the eyes You can tell them and Alisha herself says he recognized me from my eyes. Even
00:37:49 -->
00:38:29
though I wore a different cloth and a different clothes, everything to net got I disguise myself,
because why did she describe herself? She didn't want the process of them to know that she is
monitoring Sophia, right? So she didn't want him to know. But still, he recognized her. And so when
he came back, he's then saying, so what did you see? Like he's asking her What did you see? And I
said I snorted in contempt. I just saw you who the from the hood, any derogatory, you know, I just
saw you Who do you because again, Sophia was a yahudi. And she wanted to basically demonstrate that
she didn't care. You know who she is. She's just who they are. But obviously, human nature is human
00:38:29 -->
00:39:09
nature. And, in fact, her liotta reached a level that on occasion, on occasion, our processor was
irritated by it when it involved other than his co wives. You'll see our profit system when it
involves only the wives. He never ever demeaned himself to get involved. And this shows His
perfection. But once or twice, her natural Hera caused her to do something that perhaps it wasn't
the most appropriate to do, and she is forgiven, but it is still inappropriate. And that is what
irritated our Prophet salallahu. It he was sent on the most famous example of this was around 10
days before he passed away.
00:39:11 -->
00:39:11
where
00:39:12 -->
00:39:57
jabril came to him when he was lying down without issue in the same bed. And you know, he would only
come God would only come when he was in issues, but he would not come in any other bit. Okay. And
God, give way to him that Allah is telling you to go give salame to back here. This is around 10
days before he passes away or a week or seven days, and before the fever got very bad. So this is
one of the last things that he did that at very late at night after Isha he went to book that you
all know the show, he did it in the in the theater class right now. What we're interested in here is
that when God gave this wire to him, inspired this wire to him. He is lying. Next I show who's
00:39:57 -->
00:39:59
sleeping so he quietly
00:40:00 -->
00:40:10
lifted the cover so as not to wake her up, okay. And he opened the door put on his shoes outside
that will rewire is very clear that he went very quietly Why?
00:40:12 -->
00:40:17
did not want to wake up Ayesha? Okay. But Arusha woke up.
00:40:18 -->
00:40:20
And where did her mind go?
00:40:21 -->
00:40:27
You see where this is heading? Okay. What did she assume? When the processor is quietly
00:40:29 -->
00:41:10
going out of the house and whatnot, okay. And so he walks to Berkeley, he said, I wore my jilbab.
And I followed him from house to house in the middle of the night. Okay, I followed him until I made
sure that he wasn't here. Okay. Then when he turned back, I started turning back. But he started
rushing forward and I began to race. So much so that I had to run to get back. Why? Because the
process of saw a figure in the distance, and he wondered who is this? And he didn't think it's
because she was sleeping. So he walked faster. Who is this figure? And by the way, somehow, in the
middle of the night, no fear. Middle of the night, he's going to the graveyard. He isn't
00:41:10 -->
00:41:29
rosuvastatin, any of us would be like, you know, middle of the night, he sees a dark figure rushing
here and there. And he wants to know who is this. So he raised races. And she races until finally is
just saying I had to run the final bit to the house. And I quickly jumped back in, but I couldn't
stop.
00:41:30 -->
00:41:37
The panting the breathing. Right? She thought she had fooled the Prophet system. When he walks in,
she is one.
00:41:39 -->
00:41:50
And so the process of them said you were the figure, right? And initially, she said, What figure
what figure, then she has to confess, and this now is problematic.
00:41:51 -->
00:42:28
And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did became irritated and said, Did you think Allah
and His Messenger would deceive you? Meaning you think I will do something like that? Do you think
that because it's not allowed for him to do that? Right? And that is now the hero reaches a level
that did irritated for a legitimate reason that that's beyond the scope of reasonability this is not
allowed for me to do in the middle of the night. Go to another wife, it is your house your night? I
would not do you think Alan His Messenger would trick you or deceive you. And he was obviously
irritated at this for legitimate reason. Nonetheless, Shani, she is forgiven? No, this is natural
00:42:28 -->
00:43:00
for any, you know, someone of her stature and nature to do. And similar instance, not as bad as
running behind him. But similar instance, a Muslim reports that once I just said, I woke up, and I
found the bed next to me empty, and I panicked. Where did he go? Where did he go when it was pitch
dark. And I began moving my hand around to see if I could find where he is or what not. Until
finally my hand went outside into the masjid. And I felt the feet of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam
in such that
00:43:01 -->
00:43:40
he was in sajida. And he said, the famous do Allah Subhana Allah or Satan and Allah can take
methanethiol lipstick, the famous dua, that Allah I cannot praise you as much as you are worthy of
only you can praise yourself. And so she said, that may my mother and father be given in sacrifice
for you, my mind is somewhere Your mind is somewhere else. And if he shot in 123 shot and in my mind
is going there, and your mind is going there. So she herself recognize that her VR is, you know,
strong. And like I said, I know how many times I've said this will keep on saying it don't read in,
she is forgiven for all of this. And another instance where her * got the better of her and
00:43:40 -->
00:44:23
Allah Himself intervened, intervened. And Allah revealed or on about this zero is the famous famous
famous story, again, involving Zane up with the asset or the honey. Okay, where once the
profitsystem visited Zeynep so it was his habit, as I told you before, that he would when it was
time to basically retire at night. So he would visit all of his wives one after the other few
minutes in each one, and then he would finish off at the house whose night it was, okay, so every
day he would see all of his wives, and then he would finish off at the house that he was supposed
to. And it's so happened that
00:44:25 -->
00:44:59
once Xena was gifted some honey and everybody knew that he loved honey. And so he took of this honey
and instead of saying two minutes, he spent maybe 10 minutes, whatever it might take to just eat
some honey and enjoy the honey. And this irritated I should have the Alona to know and just those
few minutes she felt this Liana Okay, and she then hatched the scheme the famous scheme that we all
know with hacer la de la Juana. Some say she even got otherwise like three or four wives involved,
but the main co conspirators were herself
00:45:00 -->
00:45:35
Have some and that's why Allah says in the Quran into toolbar it a life of conservatory Walkman to
into tuba. The two of them will have son Ayesha with the main but I show was the the main brains and
half so was the ally and they went around to some other wives to basically get them on their side.
And what was the scheme? The scheme was that the next time it was a next turn, they all knew that he
would be late with the honey, okay? Because, you know, they, they didn't have fridges, right. So
when they get a gift, it's gonna run out within a few days, that whatever is going to be those are
gonna, it's not gonna last too long. And they all know she's going to preserve the honey to the next
00:45:35 -->
00:46:15
trip. Okay, so whenever the next four or five days his turn, he's going to also take that honey. So
then the technique or the tactic was that every single wife would then say that what have you eaten,
there's some bad smell coming from you. And our Prophet system was very conscious of his looks,
dignity, dignified looks and his smell and everything. And so when multiple wives told him ending
with Artesia that you ate something bad, you shouldn't do this again. He said, Well, ah, he'll never
eat the honey of Zainab again. So he kind of blames Zane of like, Hey, give me something bad, right?
And at this Allah then reveal the beginning of suited to him. And you can read the verses attorney
00:46:15 -->
00:46:50
there for you, and then allow soldiers into tuba a life Arkansas hold the both of you basically need
to repent to Allah. Right. And, and the verses are a little bit chatty for maybe we might think
they're a little bit harsh, maybe you know, the point is that Allah is telling them you cannot play
these types of games. You know, Allah is telling them you cannot play these tricks on Rasulullah
sysm, his status is above this, you cannot do this. So there's quite blunt phrasing there. And you
can read it yourself and sort of the dining. And the point is that this is the rear of I shall have
the law of wine in this regard, that of the delay with Xena,
00:46:51 -->
00:47:38
also of the incidents that demonstrate the relationship of the process and without issue is that
Hadith of the process of when he said that he said to Arusha that I know when you're angry with me,
and I know when you're happy with me, she said, How? He said, When you're happy with me, you give us
some by saying, I swear by the Lord of Mohammed, solo SLM. And when you're not happy with me, then
you give us some by saying, I swear by the Lord of Ibrahim, you can't mention my name. And so I
actually laughed and said, yes, you are correct, you are a pseudo law. But I only leave the mention
of your name, meaning I don't stop loving you, is just your name. I only leave the mentioned, the
00:47:38 -->
00:48:19
hajer module is Magnus, I only make 100 of your name. I don't make 100 of you, I don't stop loving
you. So it's just like he she basically said that is just something of the name, the love is still
there. And again, this is the monitoring of our actions in the eyes of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam as well. I mean, understood that with any loving wife, that's she's going to beautify
herself for the profit slice sentiment, again, we only have snippets, which is what is appropriate
for us to have. And of them is the hesitancy hypo Holly that once the process of them came, and he
saw Ayesha wearing silver bracelets, and he immediately said What is this because he did not want to
00:48:19 -->
00:48:59
have gold and silver too much in his household, right. So he said to her, what is this he knows he
did invite them for her. And he does not want golden silver in the household. As you know, he lived
a very simple life. And she said Yasuda law, I ordered them so that I can look beautiful for you.
Okay, I want to beautify myself for you. But see, his mind is somewhere else. The point is I'm
trying to show his beauty and he says, Did you pay this a cat on this? Like he is thinking I have to
answer to Allah, you know, for this golden silver, right? And she said, No, no, I haven't paid. And
so she said, If you don't, this is gonna be taking you to jahannam you're gonna have to pay your
00:48:59 -->
00:49:27
Zakat on gold and silver. So the point is, obviously we understand our process them living at a very
different level of money, that for him, golden silver should not really be in his house except as a
necessity. And so he is thinking this way. But the point is that I should not be alone one how she
is thinking the way that any woman should is only natural for it to do that. And she wants to
beautify herself for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam as well. One of the incidents that shows
us as well this that her nephew,
00:49:29 -->
00:50:00
asked him even Mohammed Abu Bakar. Mohammed is the son of a worker and possibly Mohammed is
therefore a nephew of Mohammed many, many years later. He was with he's not a Sahabi lost him in the
Mohammed is not a Sahabi. But he visited Arusha he met he narrated from Arusha. He was obviously
born after the Prophet system, and so he didn't see the profit center. He was with a group of men, I
believe in Basra, and they just made up their own film and they said that Oh, it is not allowed for
00:50:00 -->
00:50:39
women to wear red clothes. That is not a lot for women to wear. Red was in their days like the
beautiful color for women. Even to this day red is considered beautiful, I think in our culture is
more pink or not. But the point is red was their feminine color, the default feminine color was that
red color. And it is not allowed for women to wear gold. And awesome said I saw Isha, he's the only
one that can see I show his nephew. Right, I saw his show wearing all types of red garment. And I
saw her wearing trinkets of golden and silver and whatnot. So he is saying I've seen this my aunt
Isha. And she's wearing the same clothes she would have worn in the lifetime the process and she
00:50:39 -->
00:50:51
still has them obviously, even though he's passed away. So the point is that, you know, the the
color red was a color that was meant to be the more decorative the brighter one. And Austin was
mentioning, I saw her wearing these
00:50:52 -->
00:50:53
colors as well.
00:50:54 -->
00:51:34
Another story that really shows that her love was so powerful that at times other wives would have
to use that love to get back in the good books of the prophets of Allah who I've sent him. And
there's a very famous story, we're going to talk about it in more detail when I get to the the other
wife, and that is Sophia, that some incident happened between the processes of Sophia what it is,
we'll talk about when we get there when we get to Sophia story. And so the Prophet system was hurt
with Sophia. He basically had she said some things and it was not appropriate for her to say, and
she knew it. She wanted to make up she wanted to apologize. How did she apologize, she went to
00:51:34 -->
00:51:34
Russia.
00:51:35 -->
00:51:36
And she said,
00:51:37 -->
00:51:39
I'll give you my day.
00:51:40 -->
00:51:44
In return for you saying some good words about me to the prophets, less Allah
00:51:45 -->
00:52:31
Subhana Allah. Yeah, and he, even the CO wife knows how much issues words are going to come in to
the hearts of the Prophet system. I'll give you an extra day this week, take my day. And in return,
you have to then, you know, praise me and basically make sure that whatever we have between the
system is now gone. And so she said yes, of course, I will do that. And she says that I wore a rose
colored garment. Okay, and I put on some xylophone and perfume. And I sat next to the processor when
he came to visit and it wasn't going to stop with her it was going to supposed to stop with Sophia.
You know, the the tip was that in this late night it was going to be Irish in the end with Sofia.
00:52:32 -->
00:53:17
Okay, now our Isha is prepared. And the profitsystem says, What are you doing? It is not your night.
You're not supposed to be dressed up. It's not your night. And then she says that Lika Fahd Lola he
him and Yasha she quotes the Quran. This is Allah, his blessings he gives to whomever he wishes.
Sophia gifted me her night. And then she explained the story. And the then whatever was in the heart
to the process of them went away. So the point is that even Sophia, who was a rival wife, wife, a
rival wife, she knew that if she wanted to get back in the good books, she had to go through the
love of Russia, or the law, who also have the blessings of our Asia, which
00:53:18 -->
00:53:57
none of the other wives had was that she actually saw Judy, but not in his original form of normal.
Nobody saw him in his original other than the profitsystem. She saw Judy, but she didn't know it was
Jubilee until Jubilee had left and this happened multiple times that showed the Allahu anha she
narrates that once I saw the Prophet sallallahu I said I'm talking a distance away with Dr. l Kelby.
And when he came back to me, I said, What did the hare want with you? The hare didn't usually come
all the way to the city and talk to the Prophet says, And what did they want with you? So he said,
Did you see him?
00:53:58 -->
00:54:04
And she said, Yes, I saw him. He said, that wasn't there hear? That was God.
00:54:05 -->
00:54:06
So
00:54:07 -->
00:54:11
angels only appear to humans if Allah wills
00:54:12 -->
00:54:21
there is no accident to look. Allah willed our Isha to look at Jubilee, otherwise it would not have
happened. And
00:54:23 -->
00:55:00
they're here, amongst all of the Sahaba was considered to be the most handsome. He was the most
handsome of all of the Sahaba. And the angels are handsome creatures. So when they come in the form
of a human, they automatically become very handsome. And to come in the form of a stranger would
look strange to come in the form of their hair. if somebody were to see like even Arusha. She's not
worried. This is stranger. She recognizes the here as a human being, but she didn't know this.
Wasn't that the here? This was the angel, Judy. And another occasion when I show and the process
00:55:00 -->
00:55:15
We're sitting in her house. The profitsystem says, Oh Ayesha judy is here, and he says his lamb to
you. And we said, Jubilee only came in terms of the wives to the house of Ayesha, he did not come to
the other wives houses. And so the
00:55:17 -->
00:56:00
issue said, that, while he his solemn Warhammer to law, that upon himself an affront to law, your
rasulillah you see, what we do not see she did not see Jubilee on this occasion. On this occasion is
empty room is an empty room. But jabril came, and jabril said his salam to Arusha. Contrast this by
the way with Khadija and you can see the difference. I don't want to go too much detail but you
know, Khadija, Khadija, Allah is sending you his Salam through Jubilee, okay. And in this case,
Jubilee was sending salam wa Alayhi Salam and the other one a lot in the LA was salam wa ala Judy
Santa Monica Solis, there is a difference. So the point is that I should only allow one ha Jani she
00:56:01 -->
00:56:35
gibreel gave salam to her directly in her presence, but she didn't hear it. And it was Jubilee to
giving setups through the prophet sallallahu. Either he was sending him also of the blessings of
Arusha that are well known, and must be mentioned in any talk about Russia is that the whole
concession of tm boom came down as a result of her, and she was credited for tm, and it will always
be considered to be a blessing because of her. And the story is well known. And it's mentioned every
book of Hadith that on one particular occasion, when they were returning back from a husba, and
Arusha was there.
00:56:37 -->
00:57:12
I sure could not find a necklace that she liked. So she told the Prophet sallallahu it said them and
being the wife of the Prophet sallallahu sallam, the prophet system, then said, Okay, we have to
find it. And again, this is simply a fact, not everybody has the same status hadn't been the
necklace is somebody else, the army would not have stayed there. But now the Profit System is
saying, nobody's going to leave until the Profit System leaves. And so the whole army is looking for
the necklace because they want to get home. And there's one day left. So they prepared the food to
get back to Medina. in that timeframe. They don't find the necklace and the water runs out. Okay,
00:57:12 -->
00:57:45
they haven't planned down to a science. And now because of this unexpected factor, the water extra
water runs out they have just enough to drink but they don't have enough to rehearsal or do or do
will do. By the way. The necklace as we know it was under the Campbell of Ayesha, it had actually
broken and fallen down. The camel sits on the necklace. So the whole army is looking looking
looking. Of course they're not going to find it. Because it's under the camel. When the camel gets
up when they give up finding the necklace when the camel stands up, it's under the camel. Okay, so
this was a less of a low wanted this to happen. Although this is obviously a lesson planning. And so
00:57:45 -->
00:57:51
they don't find the water. Sorry, they don't find the necklace. And some people grumble to our
backers.
00:57:52 -->
00:58:06
Look what your daughter has done. We're delayed and getting back. You know, because she didn't take
care of her necklace. We're delayed in getting back. We've run out of water. You we've inconvenience
the Prophet sallallahu I said them, you know, and all of us are here.
00:58:07 -->
00:58:08
And Abu Bakar
00:58:09 -->
00:58:18
also got irritated at Artesia. So he then marches into her tent, only to discover that the Prophet
system is sleeping on her lap.
00:58:19 -->
00:58:54
And so he whispers his anger to her that look at your whatever a father will say to a daughter, and
he is the father. He has every right to do whatever he wants with his daughter is the Father. And
he's raising his voice in a whisper, you get the point, right, getting angry and a whisper that look
at you what you have done and this and that. And he poked her in the stomach. And I said the only
reason I didn't defend and move back was because the profit systems lab was in my head was in my
lap. I didn't want to wake him up, okay. He's like, look at you because of you. You don't want to
it's not a hit. It's just like, you know, because of you, you know, we are late and whatnot, and you
00:58:54 -->
00:59:34
didn't look off to Nikolas and this and that, whatever, you know, that might be and he became
irritated, as well, that you you have delayed the Profit System. You've inconvenienced him, you
don't have water, what are we going to do now? And then Subhanallah, when the Campbell is lifted,
right, they find the necklace there. But when the time for Sadat came, there was no water. And they
have to pray. And so Allah xojo revealed Seurat, Alma, ADA, the section about the Mo, right, that if
you don't have water to em, mousai them to yerba. This is Tam moon for anybody to the rest of
eternity, the rest of all of gamma time, anybody who runs out of water, all you have to do is to Mr.
00:59:34 -->
01:00:00
mousai them to yeva. And this made the Sahaba so happy that we don't have to worry about water in
any future trip we may do to em anywhere. And we'll say them and hold aid went and embraced Abu
Bakar, one of the Sahaba and he said, This is not the first of your blessings and the family's
blessings. Oh, but God, you've given us many blessings. This is one of the blessings you've given us
as well. Your family has given us as well. So he is now everybody's happy.
01:00:00 -->
01:00:20
That this is a big concession. Remember, in the desert water is scarce. And for us we rarely use to
him. for them. It was a very big blessing that they don't have to worry if they run out of water
they can do to him. And many other stories narrated about Asia and of course for taqwa and her
charity, and I mentioned some of them here that
01:00:22 -->
01:00:31
a number of incidents demonstrate that her strong level of taqwa and Eman And of them the famous
Hadith in Sahih Muslim where
01:00:32 -->
01:00:42
the Prophet system said to her, that hand me my mat, now we need a homerun the process of how to
match we call a gentleman's recall something to pray already had a match he would pray on.
01:00:44 -->
01:01:21
And he said to her hand me my mat, and she said, Yasuda law I am in my menses meaning, so the match
was in the message. And by the way, this hadith is the strongest evidence that is used for women and
domestic issue. This is the strongest, most authentic, there is a heavy that is authentic, but it is
not sorry, there's a hadith that is explicit, but not authentic. I gave a highlighter for the
sisters many years ago, where I went over all the evidences, this hadith is absolutely authentic,
but its wording can be interpreted this way or that way. So she says, Yeah, rasulillah I'm in my
menses
01:01:22 -->
01:01:31
meaning according to the majority opinion, because there's another opinion according to the majority
opinion. I cannot walk into the masjid to get your,
01:01:33 -->
01:01:55
your mat and walk back. Okay. That's the majority of the other opinion has another interpretation of
this, those that say women can enter the masjid, they have another interpretation. So the Prophet
system responded in how you logically lay sets big key, your menses is not in your hands, meaning
I'm just asking you to lean in and drag it here.
01:01:56 -->
01:02:33
Okay, because remember, the door was literally across where the process of would pray was literally
on the other side of the curtain. So she would just lean over and bring it in. But the point being
that she's conscious, I'm in my menses, I shouldn't go inside the masjid. Okay, so it shows again,
she's aware she wants to follow Islamic law, obviously, to the best of her capability. And of
course, when it comes to going to the masjid, she famously remarked, a hadith is in Bahati, that if
the prophets ism, saw how women dress and act today, then he would have forbidden them from coming
to the masjid. So she had this sense of very extra strictness. And of course, it is also
01:02:33 -->
01:03:11
authentically narrated that the year that they did Hajj after the death of the Prophet sallallahu
sallam. So she refused to do so off in the daytime. And she waited to the middle of the night when
most of the people were asleep. And there was only a small group doing pull off. And even then she
did go off on the very, very outer parameters, perimeters. And her lady servants said that Oh,
Mother, let us go in to kiss the black stone. And she said, I will never go there. I'm not going to
mix with the men, even though it would have been just a small line, nothing at all like now. And
also, can you imagine if they knew it was coming? What are they going to do? Everybody's going to
01:03:11 -->
01:03:38
stop and just let her go. Okay, but in her extra, you know, cautiousness and and wanting to be
separate and whatnot, she refused to touch the Blackstone to kiss the Blackstone, and she did the
loft on the very outer perimeters in the middle of the night. So that there's no issue of inter
mixing and also the Hadith in Sahih Bukhari as well, that are issues foster uncle Ayesha's foster
uncle
01:03:39 -->
01:03:47
asked the permission to visit I should not be alone Hmm. Meaning like the the lady who
01:03:48 -->
01:04:26
fostered Ayesha is basically her brother, and they would have known as a child though. Okay, so now
the foster uncle is now asking permission to enter into to visit Arusha. So she said no, until I
asked the Prophet sallallahu is an elderly man and their family, friends, whatever it might be,
since the beginning it was he said no, until I asked the Prophet system. So then she asked the
Prophet Islam, so and so. And everybody knows that she's the aunt and the uncle. I'm sorry, who is
the mother? Who is the foster mother of Irish and her brother, everybody knows this. So the
profitsystem said he is your uncle, Minerva, your foster uncle, she said Yasuda law it was the lady
01:04:26 -->
01:04:59
who breastfed me not demand means I feel very uncomfortable. And the process of said he is your
uncle from blah, blah, means he can enter upon you any whatever you feel they're not but he is
islamically your uncle, but again, the point that our issue she's like, feeling very conscious and
awkward about this is again, well known. And of course when the profitsystem passed away, and then I
will book her passed away. She would live normally in the house with the graves over there when her
own mother passed away even though it's a dead corpse, you know, I mean, still, she
01:05:00 -->
01:05:24
Had a curtain drawn and when she entered behind the curtain she would be in full hijab and niqab
just out of respect for him on even though from a filter perspective, obviously you do not have to
wear in front of a cupboard obviously, but just her own. She knew what in life and she just felt
awkward even coming in front of his upper, you know in depth and Subhanallah This is again that
shows the the extra care of ourselves.
