In Al Hamdulillah
when I was a biller, Himanshu Rudy and fusina woman say RTI Marina de la bufala Medina woman Yulin who Fela hodja wash hadoo Allah Allah in La la la sharika wash How do I know Mohammed Abu humara sudo yeah you Hello Xena Amano taco la haka to party, wallet mo tuna Illa to Muslim moon. And my bad My dear brothers and sisters in Islam. In one beautiful Hadith our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Whoever fasts the month of patience, and three days of every month, it is as if he has fasted for the entire year. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us whoever fasts the month of patience, shall sober and we all understand that the month that we're supposed to fast is
the month of Ramadan. But he didn't call it the month of Ramadan. He didn't say whoever fast shout or Ramadan, he said whoever fast shahidul suburb and three days of every month, it is as if it has fasted the whole year. So he called this month, the month where patience is manifested. The month where patience is perfected, the month where we are training ourselves to become those amongst those who are patient. This is the month of sobor. In another Hadith, our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, also no Miss for supper. Fasting is half of all patients. So if patience requires you to do so many things, one thing fasting perfects half of all patients. So this month, therefore, is
the month where we learn to be amongst those who are patient, we manifest the Islamic virtue of suburb, we perfect, the Hourani characteristic of being amongst the sabihin. And it is obvious for every one of us why this month is the month of patience. This is the month where we restrain ourselves from the two items that we need the most to live, and that is food and drink. We restrain ourselves we withhold and that is the essence of patience. This is the month where we control our sexual desires, where we don't do that which we do in other months. This is the month where we are involved in religious activities morning to evening, where we are extra prayer, extra Koran extra
thicker. This is the month where we restrain ourselves from wasting too much time. This is the month where we restrain our eyes when we restrain our tongue when we restrain our hands and feet. And if the ATM says that suburb or patients is of two types. The first is to withhold when you want to do something patients should keep you in check. The first is to pull you back when you want to go forward. So when you're angry, your patient should make you come back when you want to do something you shouldn't do your somebody should withhold you back. And of course, this is perfect for Ramadan. Because we want to eat we want to drink it is a hot June day, of course we want to drink but our
patience kicks in and it holds us back. And the second type of patients you mentioned is to do what you don't want to do because you have to do it. It's like digging in the trenches. You have to be patient to keep on doing it over and over again. And of course this is a perfect characteristic of the Korean the Torah, we're the Koran, the vicar, you have to become repetitive, your ritual has to become an act of patience. And in Ramadan. Both types of these patients are manifested the patience of withholding and the patience of persisting the patience of not doing something you want to do. And the patience of doing something over and over again, even if it gets repetitive both of those
patients that are manifested in this month of fasting. And of course the texts of the Quran and Sunnah are full of the blessings of being patient. They remind us why we should be amongst those who are patient. Patience is one of the greatest virtues of being a Muslim, Allah subhana wa tada mentions in the Quran that of the characteristics of the true believers are those who was saw BDNF in Santa Barbara, it will help us there are those who are patient at times of difficulty at times of color.
In economic strife and at times of physical fighting, they are patient will saw the NFL but sorry will borrow Hainan bus in every situation they are patient. And in that long verse in the Quran in surah Isaiah, where Allah subhanho wa Taala describes the believing men and believing women, the Muslim men and the Muslim women, though the fasting men and the fasting women and one of those characteristic that patient men and the patient women will Sabino will solve your patient men and the patient women. Those are the people whom Allah has promised Jenna and Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us that patience is one of the greatest provisions one of the greatest tools that we can have
to battle with life's problems. Allah says in the Quran, yeah, you are living in a monastery, no disability was said, or you who believe seek help. seek help from what from the problems that you're facing. When you're in trouble. When you're under pressure. There are two things that are going to act like a release valve, they'll let you get rid of all of that pressure is there a new disability will slide out seek help through sober and through Salah. And of course tada we have spoken about in many hotels and when our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was troubled when he was under an anxious circumstances, he would rush to stand up inside out, the Salah would calm him down, the
Salah would make him recollected his thoughts. That is a separate holdover. Allah says seek help in two things a suburb was set up. So when you have sobor it will help you deal with every problem with every situation that you are facing. And Allah subhana wa tada tells us in the Quran as well. What the shit is sabihin give glad tidings to those who are patient, give them good news that things will be better for them. Give them good news that they will earn a lot of pleasure. Give them good news that they will get to Jenna what Bashir is sabihin give them glad tidings. They are the fortunate. They are the lucky who are the solvating alladhina either asaba Tomasi, but to call them in the
night who were in a lake erode your own una aka him saltwater Mira, Rama como todo that the people who went up calamity happens when a disaster happens to them. They say in 1991 nightly hero journey they understand this world comes and goes and unless pleasure is what is more important. So Allah zoa just says give glad tidings to those who have perfected patience, and this is the month we are perfecting our patience in as well. Allah subhanho wa Taala tells us that true leadership in this world is attained through patience. true leadership is attained by manifesting Subhan Allah says in the Quran, we shall now whom I met and yeah doing the emelina alum sabado. We made them leaders,
guiding others through our command when they were patient. We made them leaders. This is a reference to the Bani Israel in Allah says we made them the leaders are the best of mankind when they demonstrated their patient. What time it's Kadima, Dora Beagle, husana Allah Bani Israel Isla bml sabado. And a law perfected his favours upon the bunny isaura eel with the best of perfection when they demonstrated their patience lamb mouse or bottle. So to attain a lost perfection and to attain leadership in this world, one needs to demonstrate patience. And all you need to do is to look at the people whom humanity has considered the pinnacles of human leadership. Look at people like
Gandhi or Martin Luther King are people that that mankind puts on a pedestal even if they don't have a man, they have made their legacy in mankind by showing their patience. Look at Nelson Mandela. These are the characters even in our world we understand when they demonstrate patience and perseverance mankind puts them on a pedestal How about the one who believes in Allah and his patient for the sake of Allah upon the principles of Allah, He shall be raised up in this world and in the next and this is of the blessings of patience, of the blessings of patience as well is that it saves us from destruction. We all know so little acid will actually in the inside of your house or Elon
levena, an amino solid hearty water wall so bill healthy water, well sober, sober, one of the four characteristics that saves mankind from destruction. Those who believe those who do good, those who preach the truth, and those who are patient with a wall so besotted, you're advising one another to be patient and have the greatest blessings of patience while law who your hibel sabihin there are around 12 characteristics that Allah mentions in the Koran that he loves. There are around 12 that Allah says he loves them, and one of those will love who you have buzzsaw between and this is the highest category of blessing that Allah azza wa jal can
First his love on those people and the one who is patient, Allah Subhana. Allah to Allah gives him that high characteristic. And of course when Allah loves them, then Allah is going to help them and Allah is with them while Allahu mas sabihin. Allah is with those who are patient. So when you demonstrate your patience, Allah subhana wa tada will be with you in his support in his aid in his comfort in responding to your hours and taking care of your needs. Allah subhana wa tada mentions in the Quran that those who are patient are amongst those who are guaranteed forgiveness in the Latino sabado army mina solly hace una ecohome, Mo Farah, Zhang Kabir except for those who are patient and
believe these are the people who will have forgiveness and who will have a great rig reward patients as well gives us a good ending in this world, and it guarantees us agenda and the angels themselves will give us the glad tidings of Jenna. In other words, it is patience that gets gets us into agenda and it is patience that allows the angels to give us those blessings in the Quran we read the angels will come while mela Aikido yo Luna ra him in Cooley Bab the angels will come from every door of Jenna to welcome them to greet them when the believer enters Jenna imagine the sign the site all the beautiful angels are rushing to greet you. What will they say in the Quran, Salaam Alaikum Aleikum
be masaba rotam fenyr, Morocco, but peace be unto you, because you were patient, sit down at a combi mouse about some because you were patient peace be unto you, and what a beautiful abode has been promised to you now. So the angels out of all of the characteristic that gets you into Jenna, the angels are highlighting one piece be unto you because you demonstrated patience. And once again, this is the month of patience. This is the act that demonstrates patience. So Alhamdulillah we are now undergoing our training of patience, of the blessings of patience as well. And one of the best blessings of patience is that patience is one of the very few things that Allah subhana wa tada
rewards without count and without measured
in your will for sabudana ajuda home believed in his app, a law shall return the rewards of the patient without counting how much reward that person gets. Now, we all know that that is the same blessing given to the act of fasting as well as so mu Li what Anna Zb fasting is for me and I will give its reward. And the other hand is everywhere reward every good deed shall get between 10 to 700, except for the fast for it is mine. And I shall decide how much the person shall get. It's not a coincidence that both Sabra and sohm have the exact same reward. And that is believed in his app. Why? Because some is suburb, some is half of suburb as the profitsystem said, and Ramadan is the
month of summer, as the profitsystem said, so it's not a coincidence that the suburb will get you a better idea, his app, and the song will get to the lady herself, because song and Saba overlap with each other, and so manifest Sabra, and you will perfect your server via the mechanism of song and that is why brothers and sisters this month is especially important we concentrate we develop the tool of sobor because Sabah is a necessary requirement to live in this world and to be successful in the hereafter. We all know as well that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentions in a number of a hadith that those who suffer calamities and are patient on judgment day, they will be rewarded
so much because of their patience, that they will actually have wanted to suffer more in this world when they see how much sobor got them the reward from Allah subhanho wa Taala. That is an amazing Hadith that should give us great comfort when we're going through a calamity when we're going through a problematic situation. It's very difficult for us. But our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam reminded us that on judgment day, when the saw the dean see the blessings of their suburb, because of the problems of this world. And they demonstrated patience, they will wish on that day. Nobody wishes in this world. But on that day they will wish or low Why didn't you make it even more
difficult so that I could have gotten even more reward because of my sub. Imagine that brothers and sisters, and this is of the greatest blessings of suburbia and those who perfect suburb and realize as well, that as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, When Allah subhana wa Taala loves somebody, he tests them. When Allah loves someone, he tests them and the tests are done.
done in order to manifest patience, because it is patience that keeps us in check. It is patience that stops us from committing the how long it is patience that allows us to persist in doing the rituals and the good deeds. And so the more that we are tested in sha Allah the more beloved we are to Allah subhanahu wa Tada. And remember brothers and sisters, that the linguistic meaning of sabato the linguistic meaning of suburbia is to restrain the linguistic meaning is to hold back. So the primary connotation of patience is to not do when you want to do something, that is the primary connotation, there is the secondary, as we said, and that is to do when you don't want to do and you
force your soul to do it, that is also a type of patience, but the primary meaning of sobor is to withhold yourself. And in fact, literally in Arabic, when you hold an animal or when you tie up an animal, you actually call the animal must bore or it is withhold, it is withheld, or it is penned up or caged up. So you literally use the term sobor for something that is caged. So that your the concept here, when you manifest sobor, you will keep your emotions under a cage, you will keep your anger literally under check. So the primary connotation of suburb is to not act when you want to act is to withhold yourself when you feel like you want to do something. And that is why again, this
month is the month of summer, because we are withholding ourselves from the two most important and precious commodities to us. And that is food and drink. And the purpose brothers and sisters is so clear and obvious. We need food, and we need drink much more than we need to commit our sins. We are more in need of water in the month of June than we are of committing the heroin with our eyes, committing the head on with our ears, keeping the head on with our tongue. So if in this month, we can demonstrate to Allah by the blessings of Allah, that we don't need water. If we can control our desire for water in the month of June. If we can withhold from eating and drinking, then why should
we commit sins? We need water more than we need those sins. But we're showing a lot by Allah's blessings and allies helping us that look, we can do this, if Allah wants us to avoid drinking will avoid drinking. Allah wants us to stop eating, we'll stop eating. Well guess what? Allah also wants us to stop lying, cheating, stealing, gazing on the harem doing the Haram, Allah wants us to stop acting in manners that are unbecoming. unbefitting have a Muslim that is easier to do than to give up food and drink but we've given up food and drink. So then what does that demonstrate? It demonstrates we can be better people and that is why this is indeed the month of suberb even
taymiyah mentions one other category of patients and that is that even taymiyah says that patience is of three types patience is of three types. Number one, patience when a calamity befalls you. Number two, patience from withholding from sins. And number three, patience in persisting to worship Allah. So number one, patience when a calamity befalls you. And this is to demonstrate your Eman in a law in the face of a calamity. a loved one dies, you lose some monetary amount, you fall sick, an accident happens and our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said in masamoto in the southern metal oola patience is manifested at the first stroke of a calamity. Right when you hear the news, that is
when you will see whether you're patient or not. Everybody becomes patient after a week. everybody learns to deal with it after a year. When is patience manifested? And remember this brothers and sisters because all of us we face news once in a while that is difficult for us. Patience is manifested when you first hear the news How do you react in normal Sabra in the submitted oola. So this is one category of patience and what must be done. You only say what is pleasing to Allah and you force your thoughts to be positive. Allah has willed it called De La Hoya Marcia a fan in de la who were in de la hurrah, June. So this level of patience is in response to a calamity and what does
it mean? You will only say what Allah is pleased with and you will force your thoughts to be positive and you will control your emotion and your rage or your frustration in a manner that is befitting of a Muslim. The second category have been Tamia says patience from withholding from sins. So you do not do what the heart desires you to do. And again, this is the perfect example of Ramadan. We want to eat and drink. We don't do it. We want to do things that are happy
Brahm, Ramadan will teach us not to do it. And the third category is patience in persistence, patience in doing what is difficult what has become a routine what has become a ritual, Allah says in the Quran what more laka the Salah T was a bit of a a, command your family to pray, and be patient As you command them, don't give up. Always command them to pray, pray, pray, never give up that command was not their idea. This is the patience that you keep on doing the routine. And if you have to command your family to pray and be patient, how about you and patients and prayer if you have to tell others to continually pray How about your own prayer these are the three primary
categories of Sabbath and especially the second and third are manifested in Ramadan, especially the second and third are perfected in this training camp of Ramadan May Allah subhana wa tada make us of those who have perfected our silver vertical local field corner Alvin Wiener finally will be my see him and he was declared Hakeem automata smartone was stopped for a while the Emily welcome what is the Muslim miracle demand for stock photo in the Hall of Fame
al hamdu lillahi wa Haddon a head of Samad alladhina Emilia dwolla. mula. mula, Hakuna wabarakatuh. Two quick points brothers and sisters about patience and then a reminder of Ramadan as well. Number one, remember that I'm being told that please move forward there are people outside in the sun so if you can move forward, we can give a space to them outside inshallah Tada. Number one, remember that patience is of levels. It's not just one category. Patience is of levels, somebody can be patient only slightly well, others can be patient in a mediocre fashion, and others can be patient in an excellent fashion. And Allah zoa Gen one says obviously to strive for perfection. Allah says in the
Oran FOSS bit of sovereign jameelah Be patient, the most beautiful type of patients, we want to have the subaltern Jimmy, want to have the highest category of patience. And the second point of patience brothers and sisters is how does one attain patience? How does one become patient? Well, obviously one of the ways is to train yourself. Just like we go to the gym to train our body, just like we go to the university to train our mind to think so Ramadan and other acts train us to be patient. So there's physical things that you do, and that is exactly what we're doing now. We withhold we would straight with we would restrain ourselves, we do the rituals regularly. And number two, the way to
get patience is to realize that patience comes from Allah subhanho wa Taala have the names of Allah is a subwoofer. A subwoofer is the one who demonstrates infinite patience and a lot is a subwoofer for many reasons of them is he is the source of patience, and of them is as the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, there is no being that is more patient than a law, his servants reject Him. And He still provides for the risk. His servants reject Him. Some of the people reject the law. Some of the people are unthankful some other people have stopped for the law they mock Allah subhana wa Tada. And yet the risk is still coming to them their food, their drink air, they're enjoying life merely
if one person says one word against me, how lost my heart becomes shriveled up, I'm not going to even smile in his face. Imagine Rob will either mean and these people are mocking these people are rejecting and yet still allows giving them everything. There is no one who is more patient than Allah subhana wa Tada. They reject Him and yet still he provides for them. And also the meaning of a scoreboard is the one who grants patience to others. So our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said this is a beautiful Hadith memorize it. Woman. Yato sabar use of beautiful law, whoever tries to be patient, Allah will grant impatience What a beautiful Hadith woman yet a soft bar use a bit Hola.
Whoever tries a lot just wants to see you try. That's it. Once you try, Allah will give you patience, woman you thought somebody was a bit Hola. and realized patience comes from Allah. So make dua to Allah to be amongst the patient was bit one ma sub ruca illa Billah Be patient but your patience only comes from and through Allah subhana wa Tada. So these are some of the ways that we can protect our patients and to conclude brothers and sisters and hamdulillah the month of Ramadan. Alhamdulillah Allah has blessed us to be alive
To be fasting to be a part of this month of Ramadan, and the half mark is about to come upon us. Within a few days, we would have finished pretty much half of the month of Ramadan. So the one who was lazy in the first half, now is the time to tighten your belt, now is the time to become serious. The one who was doing a good job in the first half of the month, now is the time to do a better job. The one who was consistent Now is the time to increase the bar. This is now we're coming close to the finish line. And of course we know this is the last 10 nights is going to come obviously, you know next, next football inshallah still we'll have some time for that. But the last 10 nights are
coming around the corner, let us prepare ourselves. Unfortunately, some people they start Ramadan running really fast, and then they kind of slow down and they get demoralized. And that's not the point. The point is you start Ramadan and then you increase the tempo increase the pace, such that your highest pace is at the very end of the month. That is one it is the most blessed. So anybody who has a little bit lazy, a little bit lackadaisical, you still have time to make up anybody who still hasn't finished up or hasn't done the Quran properly, you still have time it is still possible to finish the Quran very easily. Even if you start from today. It's very easy still to finish the
Quran, you have enough time. Anybody who's not fully praying that are we if you're not praying in the masjid at least pray at home you must really pray the Torah we will not must meaning YG but you should pray the Torah way because it is one of the three reasons that you will be forgiven for the entire month. If you're not able to pray at home then start tonight and pray in the masjid is easy for you. If you can't then pray at home one of these two places if you cannot pray an hour and a half pray one hour 40 minutes 30 minutes, do what you can but it must be consistent and it must be every single night in order to get the rewards of having prayed in the entire month of Ramadan May
