Wasim Kempson – In the Light of the Sahaba #4

			Bismillah Alhamdulillah wa Salatu was Salam ala Rasulillah AsSalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi
Wabarakatuh My dear brothers and sisters and welcome to another episode in the light of the Sahaba
with us today in sha Allah to Allah is the great companion, Omar Abdullah hubub Radi Allahu and now
for all of us when we hear the name or Omar, we think of strength and bravery and power and honor.
And no doubt all of these characteristics and names of the fitting for the great companion or
medicinal Hatha but of the Allahu Anhu but it's important for us to remember as well where Ahmad
where he came from, and the type of person that he was. Now from the early Muslims like Abu Bakr
		

			Siddiq Radi Allahu Anhu was from the first people to embrace Islam or smile did not affirm side even
ABI Waqqas they did not have ether. I live in Abu Talib Khadija Radi Allahu Anhu. These were the
from early converts in Islam. However, Omar are the Allahu and did not embrace Islam until five
years later, after the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam first received revelation. During this time,
when Rama Radi Allahu anhu, he became aware of the Muslims and the impact they were having on the
community in Makkah, he was a staunch enemy, against the Muslims. In fact, there were times when he
participated in the oppression and persecution of some of the Muslims. Now the day that he became a

			one day when Ramadan katabi Allahu and it is as though that the the last incident to happen with him
the straw that broke the camel's back. That was enough, that Irma Rhodiola who, at the time, had had
enough of Islam, had enough of the Muslims and Subhan Allah He said, I have had enough of Muhammad
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. As he left his home, he left his home with his sword hanging around his
neck.
		

			As he left his home, he said, I am going to use my sword to kill and strike down. Mohamed Salah
Allahu Allah, He earlier was sending them. It was the practice of the Arabs, that within the
community that the sword or your weaponry would not be shown. But it was taken out. Everybody knew
that blood was going to be shed. So has the Omar, a very tall and powerful individuals walking
through Makkah walking in the direction of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ala Wilson, who was in
one of the houses of the companions, a man who saw this and wanted to quickly defuse the situation.
And he said, Yeah, Omar, and this man's name, he his name was no aim. Even Abdullah. He said, anger
		

			has overcome you that you have lost your mind. Where are you going? And Amara? The Allahu Anhu with
his sword swinging. He said I'm going to strike down Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
		

			No, and he said to him, before you go into that direction, would it not be better for you to fix and
solve the problems within your own household?
		

			Omar was taken aback he said, What do you mean by this? He said Have you not heard about the
situation of your own sister and her husband? The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was unaware
that his own sister Fatima mental, superb. And her husband, sir Aw. Zaid, who was one of the 10
promised a paradise had both accepted Islam. He was unaware of this.
		

			He said by a law that I will go to their home and I will deal with them first. So he went to the
house of his sister. And he banged the door very loudly, and he could hear them humming or reciting

wasallam. They said yes, we have embraced the religion of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, upon
hearing this, Omar Abdullah katabi Allah Who and he went to go and strike the husband of his sister,
but his sister stepped in front of him. Subhanallah and then when that happened, he smacked her in
the face. They both fell to the floor, and blood was on the face of his own sister. When Mr. Radi
Allahu Anhu when he saw this, Allah subhanaw taala placed something in his heart, that he had regret
for what he had done.
		

			Immediately he felt calm.
		

			And he said, let me see what you were reciting.
		

			They said, We will give it to you upon the condition that you do not rip it up or destroy it. He
said, I will not rip it up, nor will I destroy it.
		

			They said to him that you are an impure person, you will have to go away and purify yourself. So
we're a model the Allahu Anhu he went away, and he purified himself. And then he was given the
parchment, the parchment upon which a year from surah Taha was on it. And then he began to read it.
Taha Merton Zina Aliko Khurana, Lita Shah, and he began reading some ideas from surah Taha.
		

			Allah subhanaw taala plays something in the heart of Ramadan hottub or Radi Allahu, and when he
recited these verses, and he said to himself,
		

			it isn't for this reason that people are fighting Muhammad.
		

			The reality came to him.
		

			He gave the parchment back to his sister.
		

			And he continued on his journey to the house in which that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
was in, however, for very different reasons.
		

			The Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam was within the home of one of the companions, maybe 10 or 15
of them. And it was you could hear somebody coming outside and then suddenly there was a knock at
the door. One of the companions looked through the hole and said, It is normal. And he still has his
sword around his neck. Hamza Radi Allahu Anhu he said, O Messenger of Allah. If he comes with his
sword, then we will face him with a sword. But he is facing us with something else. Then we will
face him with what isn't it whatever is necessary. The messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,
opened the door for Mr. Ahmed Radi Allahu Anhu he entered the room and saw a number of companions
		

			that companions they were there waiting. What was going to happen? He approached the messenger
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, out there prophet in the visa Selim helped him with his clothes and
said, Dr. Omar, what has brought you here?
		

			And what are the Allahu Anhu quite simply responded by saying a shadow and La ilaha illallah wa
shadow Anika rasool Allah, I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that You
are the messenger of Allah. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam smiled the Companions around or
Marathi Allahu and could not hide the delight. They were so happy that Subhan Allah, the greater
Omar, he has embraced Islam as even Abbas Radi Allahu Anhu ummah. He narrates that the day that Irma
Radi Allahu Anhu he embraced Islam. That was like a day of victory for us. Subhanallah remember the
Allahu and he left his home in a state of anger that led him to carry his sword and want to kill the
		

			messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
		

			Moments later not very long later, Allah, Allah Allah had changed what was in his heart, from
complete hatred, to complete love for the messenger sallallahu alayhi wasallam this is as we know as
Allah subhanaw taala says, In Nicola demon, wala Qin, Allah de minutiae that you do not guide to
whom you love, but rather Allah subhanaw taala guides whom He wills we know that the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam made dua, that either imitable hottub, Radi Allahu, and or Aboriginal
the one of them would be guided to Islam. Whoever was more beloved to Allah subhanaw taala and as we
know, Allah Jalla Allah loves dermatomal Khattab Radi Allahu Anhu and he embraced Islam. The first
		

			thing that Rama Radi Allahu Anhu that he wanted to do was to make sure that everybody knew about his
his al Islam.
		

			He went to the houses of all the elders and the heads of the Quraysh these same individuals who are
persecuting and oppressing the Muslims it's very difficult for the Muslims to approach these people.
However a model the Allahu Anhu was not afraid at all. He knocked on their doors. When they opened
the door or model the Allahu and would say to them, Romana has embraced Islam. What do you have to
say? What do you have to do? They will have
		

			Read and they could do nothing. Because remember the Allahu Anhu was such a powerful individual. We
take so many blessings and benefits from the story Subhanallah in that Allah subhanaw taala can
guide an individual, even though that individual has such enmity and hatred towards Islam, the
Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam never lost hope in his people, and constantly made dua for his
people, that they would embrace Islam and likewise us as Muslims. We make dua for people that Allah
subhanaw taala guides them. We do not want people to be thrown to the hellfire, but rather we want
Allah subhanaw taala to guide them to the deen of Allah subhanaw taala we want them to embrace
		

			Islam. Even those people who have so much enmity and hatred towards Islam, we make dua to Allah
subhanaw taala and we never give up the hope. We can never say that this individual is and will
always be an enemy towards Islam, we give up on them know, our family members, external family
members, whoever that person may be, you are an upright you should have an upright character and
follow the noble example of the Prophet salallahu alayhi salam, and call people to Islam in the very
best way. Because you never know that Allah subhanaw taala could guide that individual at your
hands. And you have such a great example. And we know that Ermelo Radi Allahu Anhu became the
		

			Khalifa of the Muslims after Abu Bakr Siddiq and has a very important role in the expansion of Islam
on earth. May Allah subhanaw taala be pleased with Irma Radi Allahu Allah may Allah subhanaw taala
bless us all brothers and sisters and take great benefit from this particular story. I mean
BarakAllahu li comm was salam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato.
