And that is when you compare yourself your body image with what you see on *, you feel low, have yourself low self esteem, and also less confidence about performing sexually with your loved ones with your spouse leading to what isolation loneliness seclusion, which can slowly but surely lead you to that phase of darkness and depression. And so it is very important to know what hormones do you need to boost in your brain so that you don't enter into that phase because depression on its own can become a trigger for a person to relapse and go back to *. Our
brain cells which are numbered by the billions are affected somehow by serotonin, our brain cells control our mood, our sexual functioning, our sleeping pattern, our memory, our social interactions with others, and even appetite. All of these and even more are directly influenced by the supply of serotonin. So it's very important for us to learn how to trigger it so that it can serve us along the journey of recovery from * addiction. So what to do to achieve that, number one, sunlight getting enough sunlight is so essential, and it has a great impact on our brain. That's why people usually feel better and healthier during summer as opposed to the winter season. And why is that so
because the level of serotonin increases during the summer. So one of the things that you can do on a daily basis is to get these 10 minutes of sunlight into your body. Number two, the power of good memories. For me personally, memories stimulate great feelings happiness and excitement, especially if I'm looking at a photo album to see my friends and family members that I miss dearly. So reflecting on a happy memory is a very powerful way to boost serotonin in your brain. You can also bring up these memories and narrate them to your loved ones, your friends, your neighbors, your classmates and so on. And lastly number three vitamin B It has been suggested that vitamin B six and
B 12 can boost the level of serotonin in your brain it can provide you with calmness make you think with clarity help you to cope with stressful moments that usually end up in relapses and so on.
