Alright, boss. You're live.
Assalamu alaikum.
Irrespective brothers and sisters of Islam.
Last time,
we owned Suratul Kahf.
Last time, we discussed
an Ayat
19 and 20.
In this time, we are going to discuss
Ayat
21 and Ayat 22 and,
and I'm going to explain to you what
I'm what I'm going to do.
And during
the,
I want to
I went a little bit more further out
than what I expected it,
because I wanted to give the full story
of the
the boys of the cave.
And,
I wanted to
my initial intention was to just do the
of.
But the story is
is so linked together.
The only thing that I could do that
I had to finish
the story of Ashaib Bille Kaf.
And then,
what I'm going to do, I'm going to,
go into the last,
in the last in ayats of Suratul Kahf,
and then
I'm going to show
how
they are all linked together,
from a pair some pair of reason that
Nabi alaihi salawahu alaihi salawahu alaihi salawam
but we do
know that the opinion of the first ten
is very strong.
In Nabi alayhi there
are some
hadith that says to also to read the
last 10.
But the beautiful thing about these, they are
all tied together and and I do, and
I always continuously say this,
I do believe in the Quran, how the
Quran, how the eyes are woven together, how
they are synced,
how the Surah are synced together
and sometimes you can look in the Quran,
and I'm not trying to just get attention,
just just trying to explain some things to
Tafsir,
and sometimes in the Quran,
the first is many times sometimes will match
the last, and you can see it just
in.
And you see the other attributes at the
at the at the last part of the
sentence.
So
and I did a lot of research,
on this another middle,
and I took a lot of notes from,
Raymond Farren.
He also
took the opinion of another Quran, how the
Quran is sick.
And then you look at, the one who
actually
who brought it to light in our time
in in in into this time age, it
was actually was
doctor Forahi,
Hamoudi.
He was the one and and and, actually,
we learned this tafsir, this technique with doctor
Ekram
and myself.
And so he was the one that brought
a lot of things to the light. I'll
give you a good example.
We look at the Quran, the first two
eyes of sort of to
Baqarah,
from the some of the reason, they coincide
with the last two eyes of the last
two eyes of Surah 2 Baqarah. But in
the middle of Surah Al Baqarah,
you can see that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
said that the Ummun Nabi alayhi salatu salam
is a middle nation.
And we know that their job of the
Ummun Nabi alayhi salatu salam, the figurehead is
the Muslim. All of this is from the
Ummun,
but the Muslim are the shepherd of the.
The
one of their job is is to do
what? To enjoin the curtain to beat the
evil. You know? So
so so many of the did this, and,
also, this was a technique that was also
practiced among the some of the as
well.
So that's one of the things that I
will get to.
I don't mean to stretch so so
much because sometimes
when I see other,
when they talk about Suratul cap, they get
to the point. And I look at my
and I look at my and I look
at my and I say, wow. It's so
extended, and I don't mean to do that.
But
in,
I
would
and I would discuss to give you the
maybe,
maybe one day,
and maybe go over some of the terms
of of what the words mean, how is
it connected to poetry.
So please forgive me for the long extensive,
of Suratul Kaffir.
But last time,
and the went into, then we explained
that how the boys of Sutlekaf
and how
they went to the market.
The one
one of the young ones went to the
market,
and he,
he has some silver, and and he had
to pay attention what was taking place,
to be very very careful because the one
the one of them said, what are you
what
are you
to, what are you to look to? Well,
you should
be very careful and pay close attention because
maybe these people can,
maybe give us a little bit of problem.
Ivana
Bada, Watros Ivana Bada. So sometimes you will
see me that I will go into different
recitation of and sometimes I will switch to.
It's not that I'm maybe reciting the I
correctly. I just want to make a correction,
and sometimes I'm gonna recite in and
sometimes I'm going to recite it in
But the what we
discussed that
that be very careful because people would try
to
bring problems to you
and and they would try to to
make you to follow the religion
that we came from. So it shows
that the boys at Ephesus
were maybe converts.
It's amazing.
They were converts.
Because the main word that they use
after you know, they maybe try to, you
know,
stone
you. You know, they would try to get
you to come back feed. They didn't let
to him because they these are group. These
people are very passionate
about passionate about their religion. You know, you
know, the word is
something that you are passionate about something. And
it's amazing that Allah in the ayat, he
didn't use the word deen. He used the
word.
And this is something you're very compassionate. You're
gonna do what it you can do to
force that individual
to come back to to the religion that
your forefathers followed. So so there are studies
that the boys as I believe, how what
what converts me.
It's it's very amazing, and Allah explained it,
immediately that they would try to force you
to come back to their religion or to
their belief. And another thing, one thing we
have to also study
is that,
the boys of the cave
And I always judge this point
that the thing they was explaining to the
people about the system of Allah,
And you will see there
was
a They would keep keep on reminding the
people that who is their master, and this
master, he have his own he have a
system,
and a system that everything's submitted to him,
and he is the orchestrator. So they continue
to to to keep giving the dollar to
that to these things. But what's so amazing
about the story,
you know,
when you work
and you give in, you try to live
according to the the thing maybe to your
best ability, and we're gonna make 1,000 one
mistake as as I always say.
But we never know
how our cover prints
or what we have done
affecting the person's life. And I and I
will I will explain.
I had a a very close friend of
ours,
myself and and Sheikha Suhay. There was another
guy.
Another brother was from my group.
And and, it was a group of us,
like I said, in the early nineties that
we came into Islam.
And
and this guy, you know, he was
my childhood friend, you know, Sheikh
Shukur, Abu Shukur. We call him Jay.
And
to show
when he embraced Islam,
his whole family end up coming to the
deen of all the time,
and he ended up passing away.
He given Dawah to his family, and majority
of his
wife's family came into the Deen of Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
And her and his mother in law's children
came into the Deen of Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala. The grandchildren came into the Dinah, so
we never know that it can be the
small things that can have an effect
on the people. Well, when you look at
the boys,
of the cave,
when they woke up,
there was a change that took place.
And one of the change that took place
I mean, after he told them, he gave
us some silver. You know, they had some
silver coins, which people didn't really sell these
things in the village,
maybe in the city.
Their clothes were awkward. Can you imagine? Imagine
one of us,
we go back into
the time of Jefferson days, and we win
ruffles. Right? And, you know, and we're wearing
wigs,
and we're walking around in this modern day
society,
and we're wearing shoes with heels.
You know?
The people gonna think we're crazy, and even
our lingo is different.
So they were strange from the get.
They was it was very awkward. And when
Allah
when you look at the Quran,
he used,
You know, in,
the word,
we know the valley in the Arabic
is ismuhishara.
So the Ismuh Ishara is pointing to Mus'ar
Ileh. It is a pointing
it is a haraf that is pointing to
something.
It's pointing to some.
You know, this is the book.
It's something that's close. This is that. But
unless it could valley, could he add the
the the the letter,
the to
it. Like that, of those,
you know, like that, I thought or not,
they would we did they were discovered.
And let me go into more detail
and please hold.
Sorry.
The word that Allah
used in these ayats
That he used
I'm sorry. Wrong. Please forgive me.
Technology is really amazing.
It really is.
Very amazing.
I remember when we were studying Quran,
if we didn't know that the Ayat and
the pages or our teacher would come angry
with us, so,
So in this, Allah said,
mean they were discovered.
They was found.
And we know that the word I thought
also, I thought that has meaning meaning even
in poetry.
I thought,
though we say discovered,
but also the word, I thought, is also,
look at look at how is how the
picture is painted.
Some of the scholars say the word, I
thought I, in poetry,
that when a lion is walking on something
and he doesn't know that it's a trap.
In the
the bottom,
the floor actually caves in. You captured that
one. The word also
is is connected to that word.
And but what Allah
said,
and he say,
in this case, we cause him to be
discovered.
And the word the the
word the even though we say it's for
people who study grammar,
The word
is also connected to,
Some said,
in Arab. The word
mean that
the purpose of them being discovered
was for them to know, for you to
know. Then Allah subhanahu
wa
ta'ala
said,
And what's so profound,
when
I
was why do they want
what is the purpose
of it being discovered?
And in the sentence, Allah said,
the purpose of it
so that you can know that the promise
of Allah
and
is, is muha so that.
You
know, the the hakon is the
and and this means that
is is giving us some information what the
is
about. It said that
so they can know that the promise of
Allah
is
is true. It's a reality, in other words.
And in the hour
the hour.
And some people,
you know, some people translate the hour just
as just as just as show.
The hour is something that what you know,
we trace means, you know, some people say
time or means something that is standing still.
But we do know that that mean
what?
When the hour come, that mean that's the
last of it.
So when Allah
is
really explaining
that
to explain to you that the hour is
a reality.
And Allah,
let me go further.
There we go.
That the hour is a reality. The word
has many meanings. The word when the meanings
of the word
and say,
with with
something
some said like a camel be left by
themselves.
And if a camel left by themselves,
that that means that
that
that that
camel can be a open prey
to a predator.
So the owl would sneak so fast, it
would be in a state of shock. And
even when you look at,
I believe, mister Suratamuk,
if I'm not mistaken.
But when he said,
Philip Nyoto,
when he said that how the hour, actually
how the Awa
were actually creep upon us. And so to
move, Allah
made a such of a profound statement.
And he says,
just knowing that what the prophet
is. That the prophet
should know that he doesn't have any knowledge
of the hour. He he has no knowledge
of this. Well, he
just
ate.
He just ate open a club water. But
look what
This is this is this is one thing
that the people will be in a state
of shock when they will see the hour
take place. That they were no
that what Allah
was in this whole time
was the reality.
So just like the camel is being
left by itself or like a baby camel
being left by itself, it it it predators
will attack
them. Very so fast, but very quick. So
when the day of would come
so fast, like, attack
you know, we would be in a state
of shock,
because some people actually really didn't believe that
the hour would come this fast. Even in
one
ayat,
Abu'l would
say, is that what you was
referring to?
They would be just in a state of
shock, and their face would turn, what,
*
of the hour. So in Suratul,
in Suratul, the
thing that Allah
is explaining to us,
what was the purpose of the boys of
Ephesus
being waking up?
And then Allah
said,
the
word,
there's no doubt in it.
Well, Allah used the word
no
as we would explain,
means it's a note.
Like,
But this is the type of note
that there is no disputing it,
Meaning that
there is no argument concerning it.
Meaning, that is the debt
that this is a definite fact, and it
cannot be challenged. So when we say
mean that's what it is. You it's you
can't dispute it. Sometimes you use the word
when you this is what it is, and
and you and and you're disputing it,
you're actually going back and forth with the
individual to explain it that how of that
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
is to say one Eli. And when the
boys at Ephesus was explaining, they was in
a debate explaining who's their master.
But when you look at the whole
story of the the boys as
the boys of the cave,
you really didn't really see so much of
the name of
Allah You kept saying
And what's so beautiful? Because I always explain
that the word is is connected with a
deen, I said this before, who is compassionate
and who
have extreme who so who expresses their extreme
mercy
on something.
So in which you look at the,
many of the Christian when I say for
even for the Christians
the Christians brothers and sisters who listen to
this,
When I sit in the Saudi, I'm actually
speaking of Christians.
So,
and I explained before that the story of
the boys of Ephesus, the 7 sleepers of
the cave, was is a Christian story. It
came from a and the theology was mixed
up in Christianity and
the the B'nai Israel, meaning the Jews didn't
even have this story
in their manuscripts. But let me continue just
to
FYI FYI. So Allah said,
that's definitely not it's definitely not dying. The
word,
we translate
it as doubt.
But when you look at some scholars, and
I believe, I think it was, if I'm
not mistaken, he's one of the.
Use in many opinions on this.
You got different levels
of the word doubt.
One level of the word doubt,
Maria or
or or Maria
is dealing with
when it is a doubt,
for example, you're looking to,
Balik is in to,
I think it's in to Isra. No. Not
to Isra. It's in to Sajda.
When Allah
when he's speaking about the story of
Musa Alaihi
and he said
And it's for those who speak out of
it, you know, there's different meanings of it,
which I don't know who the
meaning that the what the meaning that there
is no
there is no doubt. Meaning,
the argument
that we get because the word midea is,
the word midea,
midea is dealing with then when you are
with a person
and you begin to
rip their argument apart.
But in the
there's no doubt
that you're gonna meet Allah
or some say there's no doubt that that
the Musa, alayhis salaam, was given the book,
but we're going through those things anyway. But
it this the is actually dealing with there
was an argument,
An argument. So it was impossible for you
to poke holes
into this argument or for you to rip
it apart. So the word
the word
is dealing with people arguing about something.
Argue about something, and you actually convince that
individual
that his way is the wrong way, their
way is the wrong way.
This is another word to use for doubt.
The other word that's also that's used for
doubt is also as well
is as
is, is the word.
It's dealing with
when you're uncertain about a a situation,
when a person
that is uncertain about about some things,
and then the person become corrected.
And so
when you are confused
about 1 and the 2 of the things
and then
the person be the correction takes place. As
you look at the word,
it's another word. It's 3, and the word.
The word is when
a person is
there,
they're depressed,
They can't sleep at night.
They are disturbed
about it.
So we get these three different forms of
doubt.
There was
shek
shek, Wariyatin,
and there was *.
And I explained both of them. So what's
so beautiful, and and I believe this was
it was, again, Raymond Farron.
One thing that is beautiful about the Quran,
if you and I'm this this FYI,
when a person really wanna understand some to
understand the
some have anchors.
It's a reason why Allah
keep using this word often, very often, very
often in into the Surah.
And Raymond Farron said,
when you find anchors, when
Allah is using a word,
pay close attention to the word because the
word can give you a broader understanding
what the Surah is actually preparing to and
what it's talking about, or better yet, what
the I is preparing to or what it's
talking about.
In in this Surah in Surah,
one thing that you would discover that you
would find out,
there's one word that the Allah
always use is
Another word that he always also used in
the Quran
is knowing something and having knowledge of something.
This is something you will all find out
through this sort of is knowing something and
having knowledge of something. And when you look
at the at the boys, of the cave,
there was arguments
about
how long did they sleep?
Who were they? Was it 8? And we
would get to this stuff get to these
things. Was it was it 4 of them?
Was it 6 of them? Was it 7?
Was it 8 of them? You know, why
is why is the wild there, including the
doggy,
all these numbers? Then Allah
did he always go back surely your mind
to the one who
knows? And now when you go further and
when you look at,
dealing with
the the people of the the garden,
you know, when the garden got destroyed and
and the person think he thought he was,
he's the man,
It's amazing how Allah shows the human character
that when a person has something, he think
he's the man or she. They I'm the
man. What can you tell me? You know?
In other words, I'm the Donald Trump for
this situation.
You can't tell me nothing.
And by the individual nonsense,
what happened?
For Allah when Allah humble him, he didn't
say,
Even you go into the Surah, not the
Surah, but the story
When it's referring to Musa, and the person
one of one of the people from the
is
Musa alayhi salaam. Who's the most knowledgeable? And
and
and Musa alayhi salaam, he didn't say.
He said I am. Why? Even the Torah,
what? The Torah is the Torah is one
of the books according to Hadith
and and there's a Hadith that the prophet
that there's 3 things that Allah
that he made with his hands.
1,
he plant
the Jannah, the trees in Jannah with his
hands. Number 2,
he created
with
his hands. Number 3, he with
his hands. And we know it's many and
when you look at the situation,
we know that the hands of Allah is
the son of his power.
So it is Iftalah on these issues, but
we do know
that
these things are very important. So, of course,
Musa,
I'm just going to say, hey. Look at.
I'm the most knowledgeable one. I am the
Rasul
of this time, and I ain't giving duntura,
not just that. I spoke directly to Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, which is a word piece,
very rare.
So so Khuzi gonna say,
hey. I'm the most knowledgeable one. And he
wouldn't been arrogant about it, but then we
go into the different hadith
that they said that Musa
didn't say Allahu Alaihi Wasallam.
Only Allah knows.
By him, all he could've said,
You know? So in
we was going, what is Amina
What is Amina of
What are these days? 1 is considered 1
is is is dealing with a present and
one is dealing with future. You know, all
the things, what do
and
what do the things actually mean? And we
would get that, get to those when we
destroy,
when we go into detail of the Now
let me continue
and Now,
and we do know that also the word
it also can can be connected to that
that is something that gave a person a
evil opinion. They put a person in a
state of doubt.
It gave them an evil opinion in it.
So Allah said, I have everybody could've get.
Oh,
no. No. No. No. Definitely, there is no
doubt in this.
And this this is the law. There's no
doubt in this book. So don't even decide
to develop
a evil opinion. And when you look at
the
you can look at so many things they
threw at him. Or maybe he's possessed that,
you know, some of the would say, but
maybe he's possessed by a jinn or maybe,
a jinn gave him
some some inside information about something or this
or that or, you know, because he not
sit with anyone because the public side is
telling him couldn't read and write.
But he got it from somewhere because why?
The Quran is too power. No. No. Let's
say that he's possessed by a chair. So
look at all these.
These
different statements that they make.
They they knew that the Quran was from
Allah Even I'm gonna go into this. Even
there is some of the Surah Al Nabi
alaihi salawam. Just didn't do it right.
There's some things in the
We know that
the had the ability to go
past this dimension.
And some and and when we look at
Nasirah,
they said that when the court and the
dispute, they used can be able to listen
to what
the Malaika would talk about.
They they was able to hear what what
they're talking about.
You know? And one thing that the
there was one word,
one time or one word that the jinn
got very familiar with. You know, that it's
Subhanallah.
Why? Why they heard subhanallah so much? They
hear the they hear the Malaika on the
first heaven saying the word
Why are they making a statement?
Why the people you know, why the Malaika
on the the second heaven saying saying saying
subhanallah.
Sky say this, and I heard the the
Malaykah on the next sky say this, and
I heard this, I heard that. And all
the way when it go to the 7th,
and then the hadith of the prophet
said that when Allah was a decree of
matter,
it humbled them so much that the only
thing they can say is
So
that goes all the way down to to
the 5th, to the to the 6th, to
the 5th, to the 5th, to the 4th,
to the 3rd, to the second, to the
first, and the jinn kiss
But then the the jinn
said, for some apparent reason,
we can't hear certain things anymore.
What that means that when the pop society
was kinda became,
They couldn't hear the dis the discussions of
the anymore.
What they could hear is.
So
what
the say
that the Quran was continuously protected when it
came to the Surah Al Sadiq Hassan,
from the top all the way to the
bottom. And this is what
Allah said in the Quran, surely did Muhammad
Alaihi Salaam
is not a madman.
He's not possessed by a chain.
So but the web today is something
also that calls doubt and there's something that
gives you sometimes evil opinions about certain things.
So now we move further.
Allah
said no doubt.
There's no discussion in it. There's no doubt
in it over their.
And the
meaning
and this is what I'm going to get.
Eve
means when?
When they started arguing,
the people,
not them,
but concerning
about the cave. They begin to they begin
to argue.
And some
scholars say, and I'm going to get I'm
gonna get this this plainness,
that the king
at this time,
after the boys were discovered,
after they was found,
after after they was you know, he had
on funny clothes and take me to, you
know you know, and and then they took
one of them to the king, you know,
and this is the same one with with
but it's the same one that they were
supposed to be careful.
Going around, you know, being, getting their food,
and if the food was halal, it's a
food permissible for them to eat a You
know? And then the coin is funny. Matter
of fact, you you you even dress funny.
You, you know, like I said, imagine us
on part of the 17th century, and we're
walking in the millennium, and I'm wearing ruffles.
You know? I'm not saying I'm Mike Prince,
the singer, but I'm wearing ruffles,
or I'm wearing heels, purple heels.
You know?
Uh-uh.
And I'm wearing a white wig. So imagine
this in the 1700,
in in the early 1800 in the civilization,
they're just like this. Imagine
this person is walking around in 21.
I said, what's wrong with this guy? And
he's handing me these bitcoins or these simple
coins that is not, you know,
is is is is not like my my
my, Andrew Jackson $20 bill on my Benjamin
Franklin $50 bill. What is this keenness on
this? So Allah
made a statement, and he said, even
while they were disputing about situation.
Some people say, when?
But some translate
the word he as
while they were dispute disputing
about
what is the soul or what is the
body. Are they resurrected
on the day of the Yom Kiyomah? Which
one is risen? Is the soul is risen?
Because that is a Christian theology.
Look how beautiful the Quran is.
We know that you ask many of the
and you say, they all would tell you,
oh, the body is nothing.
It's just a piece of flesh you would
turn back to dust. The thing that would
be risen on the day of judgment would
be what? Our souls. And this is still
the Christian theology
today,
that they believe that the soul would be
the thing that would be resurrected on the
day of judgement, not the body. The body
is not the but a piece of dust.
It's not important.
You can poke it. You can cremate it.
You can do whatever. It doesn't matter. Matter
matter of fact, the dad doesn't feel this
according to their theology. They don't feel this.
It's the soul we have to be aware
about. This is the main thing of the
Christian theology. And some say, how did they
get this information?
How did the king
come in contact with this information?
How did he know about the balls of
the cave? And some say and some
say
that the king will hear his
grandparents
and grand and so and so talking about
what happened to these boys.
Then it became a big issue in Christian
theology.
Is the soul resurrected,
or is it the body resurrected with their
exception? So Allah said, why are they all
discussing this
in this manner?
The word.
I'm going to explain this word.
Excuse me, my
throat.
The word as
we translated
They're arguing about that matter.
We translate
it as argument.
But show county
show county show county made a very profound
statement, and he said,
in his opinion,
he believed that the discovery,
the argument
for the boy's emphasis
to be discovered.
He believed that the argument has nothing to
do with
building a or a or a monument
over the boys
of Ephesus
when they passed away.
The discussion was,
which one has been resurrected? Is it the
soul or is it the body? And that's
the that's the debate.
Now
the word
also means
when you yank something out of this place.
Or some say,
to leave something.
When you dismantle somebody, you know, you you
take some out of his original position
or argument about something.
You know? So
Allah according to Sheikh Shaw Khani, he said,
wow.
They having this big
debate after all these years
for most for some apparent reason,
the boys woke up.
Them men discovered what's for a reason,
meaning for them to be woken up for
370,
300 plus years. Now look at this strange
thing about it.
When they was now we do know they
was for 300 years.
Or could I say 309 years, but we
would get to that later because that and
I would get to the different opinions of
the for 300 plus years. Now
the 300 years while they are
up. You know what's so we know what's
the the miracle? Yes. Them waking up and
them feeling hungry for them to be discovered
and discovered.
But Allah wanted them to be found.
Even their clothes was not
dismantled.
Their clothes was still intact.
Their hair was still intact.
Everything was still intact.
The dog was still intact
like it had never been touched before. Look
at the miracle of Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala.
It kind of remind me of the one
saying of Isa alaihis salam, the be alaihis
salam quote when the causes of the enemy
of Isa alaihis salam. He was walking in
a place
and, you
know, the the disciples of g Jesus Alaihi
Salam.
And they saw this pain, they saw scores,
and they saw all these rags, and it
was a old place.
And the disciples wanna know,
what is this?
Through the permission of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
Alisa Alaihi Salam
asked Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to cause the
score to come back
to life. And when the score came back
to light to life,
the king, man, instead of me, he said
that the score is I was a king.
And I had I had I had some
of the best things in life. I have
beautiful clothes,
beautiful horses,
a beautiful place. I ate the finest foods.
Look at this. You see all these rags
on my hair?
Those were our garments.
You see the bones?
These were our people and our horses, and
we are no more.
In other words,
the dunya
would turn to dust, and the only thing
that would stay in existence is Allah
and his words will always be the last
sin.
So
their clothes were still intact. So Allah
kept everything together on them. They had they
still had their youth. They now can you
imagine when they woke up, when they found
out, like, wow, we've been sleeping this long?
Look at the miracle of Allah
Our clothes are still intact.
Our money is still intact. Everything matter of
fact, even maybe our dog is still intact.
Everything is still intact. Look at the power
of Allah Subhanahu. When Allah is making an
example out of something
so you can receive understanding to know something,
to understand about
the.
Allah didn't have to do that. But Allah
want to explain to them it is very
easy for Allah to resurrect something. Just like
the the mighty of Allah
calls these boys to go to sleep and
to wake up. And the first thing they
mentioned was Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. And they
mentioned Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. And the second
thing they mentioned, this is for my mask
only, you know. The third thing they mentioned
is what? Their knees. I'm hungry. Allah calls
their stomach to them.
And the first thing they can say, hey,
Go to the market, and won't you get
some halal food
that's permissible for us?
Look at how they're thinking.
So let me continue.
One thing I would like to,
to say,
are there any questions?
Okay. And set it to Adam.
And we'll continue into the town.
Okay.
Now
in the,
one thing that you will
see in the,
Allah
made
a a very profound statement, and he said,
Then in other words, they were disputing
but they were disputing
about their manners,
And that was some
they were disputing
about
about if the soul is resurrected or the
body was.
Then
Allah
and said
I'm sure. Okay.
Then Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, said,
And then then Allah
in his statement, and he said and then
they start discussing
about constructing a building
over them.
And let me kinda cut it between
How Allah
is is is explaining this story.
The one thing we do know,
the king
actually
met the boys
of the cave.
And when he met the boys of the
cave, even he was interested in
who they were.
And he wanted to take them
so that people can see who they are.
But
but after the boys at Ephesus, the 7
boys discovered
that they had been speak for 300
years, they said that they went back into
the cave,
and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
calls him to go to sleep. Now can't
you imagine emotionally you are in a state
of art?
Awe that I can't I can't believe that
I missed that we have been sleeping this
long.
Even then, you know I mean, even when
these things hit you, you know, like, even
the people
before us, they're all gone.
So they knew they did not fit in
that time zone.
So they said they went back into the
cave,
and the king let them be, they went
to sleep, and they passed on. They went
back to sleep,
and they passed on.
In the process of that,
now we're gonna do
Now they are discussing issues about how we're
gonna cause these boys to be remembered.
One thing that is shocking,
the many of things concerning the.
If you look at history,
many of the, we do know
that
let alone a lot now one thing we
have to remember, Allah has put us in
another time zone.
Did he put us in the times of
the
because even Allah
is correcting
that.
Now Allah
calls people in this time to pay attention
to the movie.
What thing did
the the the Christians do to? We fast
forward.
They adopt
a certain tradition,
a tradition
that was
the way of the people for them.
We know that many times, the Greeks,
they will build monuments in the name of
their gods who they worship.
Or they will build monuments in the name
of one of the one of the one
of the rulers,
and they will make temples,
temples,
so you can go in and pray in
the name of.
And, also,
they begin to reach the level of worshiping
human beings.
Somebody had the power
to,
to intercede for you. Now in the Christian
theology,
one thing about the Christian theology,
and we look at the Catholicism,
the Catholics,
They made
their pious people into saints.
So they they be getting what? Grave worship.
And it still go and and and even
today, saint so and saint Matthew, saint Joseph,
saint,
all these people, the do you know, the
beautification,
saint Mary and all these people, they did
the same thing to the boys at Ephesus.
So meaning that, hey. Guess what?
The boys of Ephesus, these 7 boys, hey.
They are the gatekeepers of the heavens.
And maybe the fact that God had reward
them so much. Now look at this. One
thing I'm going to say, one thing about
the boys at Ephesus, one thing that they
did do was invite the people to the
religion of Allah
They was giving dua to the people. They
was giving dua to the king to accept
then one great thing. But some appear reason,
things begin to
slip. People start looking at them that, hey.
They start making songs of the 7th voice
emphasis, and they say, wait a minute. If
we if we accept them, they are saying
some
god must have loved these boys. They are
pious. But in reality,
they was no different than the next individual.
They were kids that believed in god. So
what did they be be begin to do?
Let's make monuments.
Let's have a celebration
that the day of the boys of the
Ephesus, the 7 seepers of the cave. Matter
of fact, let's let's go near their graves
so we can worship.
And maybe they can intercede because they are
so high in the eyes
of God or they say the high in
the in in the eyes of Jesus.
Maybe they can intercede on our behalf for
us, and maybe we can get our sins
forgiven, and maybe we can go through to
paradise
by praying at the at the temples.
Dear respected brothers and sisters,
for some apparent reason,
some of these theologies even creeped up.
The deed of Allah is pure,
but it even creeped up in some of
our theologies.
I remember when I was supposed studying across.
And, again,
one thing here,
only thing we knew is to follow the
Quran
and follow
the
at the best of our lives.
So we didn't really understand when we came
into the
the different sects of this, Ahmadiya
or, you know, the the Ishmaelis and stuff.
We didn't know nothing about these things. We
didn't know they were different they were different
sects of Shiite things. We didn't understand none
of this. But what shocked me,
when I was studying there,
and I and I was at the gravesite
of Hussein,
and I couldn't
if you go to the gravesite,
you know, they have some say that his
what his
he was amputated.
He's buried in that particular place.
May
Allah have mercy on the family of the
alihis of the sun. May Allah
give them Jannah.
Was saying the the the family not the
the the prophet
suffered so much. They really they really suffered,
but let me continue.
And so
I asked one of the students who, you
know, who was upper class. I said, what
is that right there? And he said, you
know, that's the the head of Hussein. I
said, oh.
Oh, okay.
But I saw this lady,
and there was gates, and then there was
a pan that was sitting on the gate
on the wall of the gate.
And I will watch people.
Some people would touch the pan, and they
will wipe their face like this.
Some people will grab the gate, and they
will start crying,
which was new to me. I said, what
is this?
Which was new to me?
So what is this?
And I say,
why do they do that?
And
the sheikh responded to me. The brother responded
to me, and he said,
because they believe
that's it carries blessing.
And he gave me the story of how
his
how the grandson, not be alaihi salaam, how
his hip was amputated.
And some say he put it they put
it on the panel, they put it into
the wall,
and his sister Zayneb, she saw it and
she cried so hard that she she died
from grieving.
So he said that's one of the reason
why they some they touch it and
touch their face,
believing
that maybe it carry blessing.
So even certain things had even creeped into
Islam.
So,
even we have some Muslim that that that
do make sense of the grave, and this
is not the time to discuss
these issues.
Cannot forget about the hadith of the prophet.
We know that
the many Christians have done this.
The, we see it in in the capitol.
Some people of the capitol believe and and
and and and protestants,
some of them believe that the key that
the kings are chosen by god.
The kings are especially chosen by god to
lead their flock,
so they put him in a special place.
And people pay homage to their to their
places with their graves and so
some people play to pray to saints.
One thing we do know
that Nabi alaihi salahu alaihi salahu alaihi salahu
alaihi salahu alaihi salahu alaihi salahu alaihi salahu
alaihi salahu alaihi salahu alaihi salahu alaihi salahu
alaihi salahu alaihi salahu alaihi salahu alaihi salahu
alaihi salahu alaihi salahu alaihi salahu alaihi salahu
alaihi salahu alaihi salam became very angry
that he he hoped that, please do not
allow
the, my, the Muslim, do not do this.
Do not make the graves of the NBI,
you know, into places of worship
and light this exotic sun. Please do not
do this. You know?
And but we do know that
hate to say it, but some Muslim do,
make such at the graves,
you know, stuff like that. But like I
said, this is not the place
to do this,
to have this discussion. But I'm just giving
what many under Nasadi, some of the Christians,
what they have did in the voice emphasis.
And here's a here's a discussion I'm going
to go further.
We do know
in that
they wanted to build
for them to be remembered
a place
or a Masjid
near where they were sent.
We do discuss this, inshallah, ta'ala. So, inshallah,
one thing,
I I'm going to end it there, inshallah,
and next time,
we're going to,
we're going to touch
on the next Ayat,
the prophet.
One thing I want to send I mean,
the next Ayat. One thing I would like
to also remind us that
a blessed month, 1 in the second months.
And the person I'm going to ask the
question because person asked me a question.
What is the value of the month of
Rajiv? And we know there are some dikhhadith
concerning these things, but this is not a
mohakaddi
class.
But we do know that these are one
of the special months.
One person asked me,
why the months is are sacred. Allah
picked them, but they were sacred
to media, the Arab people.
Some
theologians
say, also,
war is forbidden in those times,
and we know in the ayah of the
Quran.
But some say, also,
these are the those are the times
that nature can do a reset.
When I mean reset,
if people are battling with each other, fighting
with each other, and going to war with
each other and doing these things,
what happens?
It affect the livestock.
It affects
the the city. Everybody, it affects the economy.
So so so some say the
one of the reasons, one of the opinions
why those what some of those months are
the month, the sacred of the month of
life, because I always say the deen of
Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, is about also preserving
life.
The rule was to let a reset to
take place,
meaning, you know, like, there's sometimes part of
the season that you can't go hunt for
deers and stuff like that because there have
to be a reset.
Meaning that
the deers have to produce,
the cowards have to produce. If you do
not allow them to produce what happened,
they they won't become extinct
distinct,
but what happened, it would affect the village.
So allow the in some said,
to allow the crops to grow and allow
these growth, to allow
nature to have the reset and to prosper.
That's something. But, also, we do know that
the is
a very special month,
and we do know that this is the
time of what the Israrat Mirat.
When we looked at Allah
gave us 2
situations,
Hanabi, alayhis salaam
is the last of the prophets
and he is the seal of the of
the prophets of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
And some say when the Qur'aq
moved him
all the way from where he was at
to the Philistine,
and the was even excited to have
him. You know, some say.
And from the Philistine is when he went
to the heavens. Before he went to the
heavens, we know that he led the and
and when he went to the heavens, he
saw different of the of the, you know,
the the the the prophets of Allah on
different levels of the heavens. But but some
apparent reason what happened.
He went past the 7 skies.
He went past the 7th sky, and some
say that this is the form that Nabi
alaihi salatu
salaam is the last of the of of
the emiya and he's the seals of the
prophet, not just that he's the emir
of the emiya
of Allah
So
to you this month,
And it's increased
to do good access
to worship Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala and this to give one another.
And number 3, number 3 or 4,
because there were 2 gifts that was given
to Nabi alaihi salatu wasalam, and when the
gifts that was given to Nabi alaihi salatu
wasalam, Allah showed us the value of it
too, and Allah
gave us the gift of salah,
and Allah
gave us another gift, and that is the
last 2 or 3 eyes of Surah Al
Baqarah. He gave us the completion,
the ending of Surah Ta'ala,
which is from the treasures of Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
So,
I will leave you with that.
I'm just answering the question that a person
asked. I will leave you with that.
If you have any questions about
the people of
the cave,
you can send it here or you can
send it to SWISS, and
would give it to me. But
to you, take read
as much as possible because one thing
explained
2 or 3 things to us. It shows
us about the power of Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala.
And number 2, it shows about the system
of Allah
That the system of Allah
have have
Allah
keep his system intact.
And he and he showed us also
by
Tekkes and young boys and calls them to
go to sleep with comfort and raising them
up like they've been touched.
Furthermore,
then he shows us
Hadu
had knowledge of how to create
steel, copper and steel.
How how you know, and then he shows
us how do you combine the rules of
sharia
with the soul, with spirituality.
He showed us what through Musa
He showed us that how
when you implement the rules of Allah, how
you show kindness to what people are or
whatever. Sometimes we don't understand the wisdom the
wisdom
behind the rules of Allah
But the thing we have to do is
know that the system of Allah
is reality. I had a discussion with my
teacher, and he said a very profound thing.
There's a difference between belief and reality.
And he said when you look in the
Suratul cap,
when Allah
he explained
because we know it is part
of
the
and we know this
when they say, you know, you know,
with him, like, it's a
good time to be here. And then we
say, you
know, you know,
or
the,
you know, that we believe we'll be resurrected
on the day with that point of day,
we're gonna be resurrected. And, also, that is
when that word is all through the Surah,
appointed appointed appointed time. It's all through the
Surah. So Allah has given us the reality
of resurrection.
And my teacher made a very profound statement.
He said,
to the Sahaba the Anu,
the deal of Elijah
Jelah
was a reality. So the system of Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala is a reality.
So when you look at at the boys
of Ephesus,
the cave,
when Allah said,
what did he say?
There ain't no doubt about this.
And Allah does that when he said
that this is a reality that everything
has an appointed time because the reality,
everything have to go to Allah
Everything have to be questioned by Allah
Even the sun is gonna be questioned by
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. The moon is going
to be questioned by Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
The sun will give its purpose. The moon
will give its purpose. Everything will be questioned
by Allah
Even the malaika, even Jibril Jibril alaihis salam
is so afraid to be questioned by Allah
that the hadith of the prophet
said that the knees that you blew will
be shaking.
So everything
will be questioned by Allah
Even alaikum on your left and your right,
Allah will ask them, and this is dealing
with the word.
I'm sorry.
The appointed time of because the word means
you're waking up for a reason, for an
event, for a cause.
Like, he woke he woke up the boys
For an event for a cause assume that
the reality of what?
Soon, the reality that this is real. So
Nabi alaihi is saying hadith.
They're on the.
Excuse me. Your
on your right and your left.
What's going to take place?
Look at it.
Because these Malaikas right down everything.
1 on your right, 1 on your left.
The one on your right is the mirror
of the Malaika on the left.
And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, and they was
and and he would say,
is there any more? Give me his.
Give me his deeds.
Is that it? Noah asked him.
Is that all he or she did? What
what they have done? She asked.
He said,
there's some things that he's he said to
himself that you know nothing about.
Meaning that if I'm a zither inside of
myself,
they don't know nothing about this.
But when had they do the public side,
it was something that says,
but how they do know that when you
do a evil deed,
you're thinking so. They can smell it.
But when you but they are ordered
to not to record
even the thinking of the bed.
But when you do a good deed,
and you're thinking about doing it, and then
I'm not even here yet.
The the one I asked you, how you
know they're gonna do a good deed? How
are they he said, because when when when
we when they when they make it, want
to do something good, we can smell the
the must that is radiating from his body.
So on the day of judgment,
Allah
would take the book of the actions, what
they have done,
and Allah would
examine the the things of dhikr that we
have said within ourselves
that only Allah have knowledge of.
So,
inshallah, I will leave you with that. Please
make Dua
for,
the Swiss.
Please make Dua
for the teachers of Swiss.
Please make Dua for me and my family.
May Allah
will whatever this one of you for intending.
Know that if I have said anything wrong
is from myself in the shaitan.
And if I have said anything correct,
that's right,
it is from
Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala.
May Allah
give every last one of you
and please enjoy.
