sallam on early Hill Edina toto Kitab Allah He had particular when
he was heavy he living in a hemorrhoid who had the Kitab or
many to be had you him with a sunnah be sunnah to him. You know
your Medina As Salam alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Welcome
to hamdullah our class on learning to read the rewire of Kowloon from
cDNA Imam netfit and Madani Rahim, Allah Humala, Jota Anna, it's
great to see a large number of people here or Hamdulillah. And
oftentimes when I talked to people or people heard about taking this
class, they thought like this is going to be really hard with this
is something that's really advanced or that this is something
that's going to be difficult. But as you're going to see in sha
Allah Who to Anna,
it is not that difficult. Allah Who Subhana wa Tada says in the
Quran, after I will be let him initiate on regime
what up are the yes or no poor earner? Please decree for *
many more decades, that indeed we made the Quran easy, but who is
going to be the one who tries and works consistently and diligently
to make that happen? So the onus is on us. And with the passing of
our dear colleague, Sheikh and scholar, Sheikh Muhammad, Sharif,
Rahimullah, Ramat nycrr, we should all appreciate every breath we
have till we leave this earth to do something good. Because Wallahi
if we don't work hard to do good now, for sure, our hereafter will
be difficult. And that's how we should think about things that
haven't been done.
Before we get started a little information just about how Swiss
works, because people ask a lot of questions. And it makes sense. A
lot of times they ask like, you know, do I enroll in a course. So
at Swiss we, we believe in making Islamic education, professional,
accessible, affordable, and organized.
And so, Swift follows a set curriculum, as you can see here,
sorry, here's our courses on the web page, as well as the app. And
on the app, you see it more so than the web page, we have courses
set up as core courses. Our core courses focus on theology,
worship, and to soul for tusky to neffs.
That we have a large number of other courses that you can see
here in instead of enrolling in one course for say $75 $100 or
$200 for that course.
Allah Subhana Allah says Allah, Kumari agilon Like we don't ask
for profit in the Quran. Mr. Michel to be Rahim Allah says what
he sat up or any heme Akela here's a man, man, here's a mani watch
would take any Sydney mom shot to be says that a person should not
make the Quran as a means of their profit.
All prophets were nonprofit, right? So we feel that and this is
what I was taught by my teachers that Islamic education has to be
professional. It has to be affordable. So all of our courses
are available for $9.99 a month. We don't sell one course because
we believe in a process not an event. We believe in an
experience, not a moment, and we believe that learning is a
relationship between teacher and students.
That takes time
and it takes effort. So all of these courses that you see here
Hamdulillah we
offer them to a person for $9.99 A month or live as well as these
recorded courses, but hamdulillah for their entire family. So one
enrollment is good for an entire household. And we ask Allah
subhana wa Tada I get a minimum income inshallah. Saudi Halima but
for also we get started just a few announcements, Sister Imana. It
will continue her teaching the art of reading Arabic next week, next
Sunday starting on July 31. She wrote three books on this
mashallah that are very accessible, very important books.
For people, those people who feel like they're
too scared to learn. And I've been there, we've all been there. And
she had an incredible first semester people loved her class,
you can see it here, actually, we need to put the right size file.
But next week, she'll start again in sha Allah on the 31st at three
o'clock Eastern time live, and then it's recorded and will be
uploaded so you can watch it at your leisure. If you missed the
first semester, and you're interested, you can watch it
inshallah will be posted some. Also in August, we are welcoming a
chef, Dr. Use of web, who is a scholar, a research scholar at
hamdulillah at Yaqeen Institute, as well as a graduate student at
the University of Chicago, who's an SRE went to the same school,
but his master, his mastery. His scholarship is in the Quran. And
he's going to be doing a series of lectures at Swiss which are going
to be here as well on the history of the preservation of the Quran,
because this is something now that people are concerned about,
unfortunately, this is something that people even the Muslims begin
to worry about, which we didn't worry about for almost 1400 years.
So he's going to do a series of I think six four to six lectures
with students going through the paper he wrote for you are keen on
the preservation of the Quran. Also, inshallah I will be
returning with other classes that had started before for example,
Mauna Kea, and we will continue reading from it as well as Imam
Abu Mohammed, Allah zerbies in Agile Aberdeen, and then also we
have a course starting soon called after the shahada, for brothers
and sisters who've embraced Islam. Oftentimes we make a mistake, and
I heard this from Mr. Mark manly, which I thought was very profound
and very
on point, we usually ask people, even if they've been Muslim for
years to talk about their conversion, perhaps it's better to
ask them how did they preserve the Islam? Over 20 3040 1516 Five, six
years. What we're doing today though, hamdulillah is the rules
for reading and una those of you who are here, before we get
started, I want to remind you to be sincere to Allah subhana wa
Taala and myself in the Moto moto Bina, yet actions are only based
on their intention they will be rewarded based on their
intentions. And Allahu SubhanaHu wa Tada He came as the prophets of
Allah while he went out he was happy with them all in need or
mirror to an outward Allah mafia Salah who de se i was commanded to
recite, to worship sincerely for ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada. And the
statement of the scholars needed to me in Hiram in Amelie, that the
knee of a person is better than their actions because our knee
actual brain more words than our actions that have mistakes. No
matter how well we do an action there's going to be shortcomings
in front of the majestic majesty and transcendence and soltana
Allah subhana wa Tada. And it's only out of the Mercy of Allah
azza wa jal that he is perfect, and he accepts us and we are full
of imperfections. And what can we do to alleviate the shortcomings
of our actions is to increase our sensitivity
to increase our class to our last poll data, so I want to remind
anyone here, this class is not about growing an ego. This class
is not about feeling that we are superior to anyone else. It is
only by the grace and mercy of Allah subhana wa taala.
To Allah subhanaw taala has guided us even to say his name, let alone
to read his book. Every time we say Alhamdulillah it's a sadaqa.
Every time we say Allahu Akbar, it's a sadaqa. Every time we say
La Ilaha illa Allah, it's a setup. Who's that? Sadaqa for? Who's that
charity for? For the one who said it?
That's how inshallah we can appreciate imagine even saying
Alhamdulillah is a charity for our own hereafter. What about those
who Allah subhanaw taala has blessed him to recite his book.
But I've noticed this in my own days when I was memorizing the
Quran, as well as 20 years of teaching the Quran. When someone
is not sincere with the Quran,
it becomes very obvious, it becomes very obvious. So we ask
Allah subhana wa Tada to make us something we're mostly seen.
And we we are thankful to Allah, that Allah subhanaw taala put us
in this place to be concerned. And thinking about his book Subhan
Allah as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam I said, Al Quran
Hoja to look alike. The Quran is going to be testifying for us or
against us. Yeah, Allah. This Edo era bene and tagit Alchi turbocad
Anna wala and in
the escolas puntata to make his Quran for us and not against us
era but RME
A few things that we want to cover quickly first and foremost is if
you have the app, if you're using the Swiss app, it comes free with
your subscription you don't have to pay there's no hidden fees or
anything like that. But if you're using the app hola he mashallah
everything is there under this course folder, unfortunately, on
our, our webpage, as of now, we're still struggling to upload the PDF
documents. But you will find a number of important things even if
you're using the webpage. And that is number one, the link to the
live course which is every Sunday at 10:30pm. And then our Google
Classroom we have a Google Classroom, which is our Tajweed
station for students who are studying wash. who are who are
doing halfs who are doing Kowloon in the future I plan to teach even
conceive, as well as us by Hanny's Tareekh way of reading wash and
inshallah other Girard for students who continue to do well,
I'm not looking for anyone to be perfect, I'm just looking for
people to put in perfect effort.
However, if you have the app and you go to the app, and I don't
have it with me here because I'm on my computer, not only are you
going to find link to live courses and the Google Classroom
information, which I'm about to share with you, but you're also
going to find a copy of pylons most of the most half the Quran
with CARDONE you're going to find a link to the recordings of
Scheffel history, reading Cardone, which is really the best out
there, Mashallah. For those interested in learning, and then
you're going to find a PDF of the book that I wrote, in the last few
weeks on breeding a column which is still being edited, updated,
I'm having, of course, some of the Ulama to review it and make sure
hamdulillah those women that I took the EGS from Kowloon, just to
make sure that hamdulillah it's solid in sha Allah and that
it's of benefit. Yeah, Allah, Allah, we ask you to make us
beneficial, and to make us also those who receive benefits from
others. Before we get started, let's also take a look at our
syllabus. The syllabus you will find on the Google classroom as
well. And hamdulillah Blarney and the syllabus is also available on
the App it did not upload unfortunately to the webpage. So
we're going to be starting hamdulillah William Kowloon. I'm
the instructor This is my email address. Do not email me asking me
to come to events or things like that, like this email is just for
students. So please LIKE if you want me and you need me to help
you that is fine, but like don't give my email to people and say
you can book me here.
We have something called bookings. So hey, web.com Mashallah. We have
an awesome team. They're going to help you out office hours. We're
going to start them again soon because we have students I see
like Saad is here like he has was reading to me before really nicely
mashallah and growing really well. Who want to read Al Hamdulillah we
can start doing that more I actually stepped away from my job
at NYU, just to do this full time. Because now mashallah we have so
many students so many great like Amira. I see her here mashallah
and Tasneem. So many, like really dedicated, great students who
really work hard, and I see also Asad here also Hamdulillah.
We, of course, they remember you Mashallah. The course goals we
have for this class are number one to be conversant with the rules of
Tajweed so not only will this help you real Kowloon, but if you're
reading like HUFs, definitely, it's going to help you improve
your HUFs and awesome, and even those of you who are reading wash
because of course pollun is the cousin of wash, they both go back
to Imam Natvia. Madani
is going to help you with all those things in Sharla. Of course,
the main goal is to learn the rules of Kotlin, to be able to
read with PowToon to increase your habit of reading the Koran daily,
because that's really how you're going to people always ask about
the teacher. What I've experienced in my life is even when I have bad
teachers, if I worked hard, I've benefited so we need to make the
onus on ourselves to be consistent, and to be reading
everyday to be practicing these small rules I'm going to give you
every week inshallah and of course it's going to increase your faith
in the Quran, like you're going to see things like incredible like
even tonight, like for example, Karla when he was deaf, like how
do we have the Quran from a deaf person. And this is something that
you're going to see as you learn Akira art that the people who
preserve the Quran and pass down the authentic ways of reading the
Quran overcame incredible odds. Such that you know, this is from
Allah, as though each and every one of those people is an
explanation of the verse in nanana Zelina the Quran were in another
hula, half evil. We sent down the Quran and we will preserve it will
lie he preserve it for people that no one would have given a chance
to succeed. Like, for example, a boy I'm gonna bust it he was a
slave Subhanallah and he was emancipated. You talk
About a history of the story of a person in my mouse him, or him
wahala, who was blind. So you're going to find things as you study
deeper and deeper through our system to the system of we should
be learning the Quran from Muslims, not from orientalists,
not from the Western Academy. But from this is this is the book of
our Ummah, we have responsibility. And when you learn it, through
mache, Wallahi, you will feel something different, you will see
something different. So it's a blessing that we're here together.
There are a number of other things that you're going to see as well.
I didn't put here as the course goals. But there's other course
goals as well. One is that you're going to develop a sense of
confidence in yourself. Because most people I've met that have
come into these kinds of subjects and studies.
There, they don't believe that they can do it.
But Allah subhanaw taala can take you places in spite of your own
insecurities. If you're sincere and you work hard.
There are some materials, of course, for this class number one
is the Google Classroom. Here's the code for it, it's on the app
right now you can find it there. I can't emphasize how important that
Google Classroom is going to be because that's where we're going
to be sharing your your recordings of your readings. To me, that's
where we're going to be engaging. That's kind of like our
announcements, bulletin board, and other things, you can bring
whatever you need to do to take notes. And again, these are
recorded for you. I'm not going to be vlogging this class, so I don't
think I can vlog it. I'm not that my memory is not that strong.
Although I did have one teacher mashallah, when I memorized the
Quran with him and reviewed it, he made me read it to him in public,
even in the bus in the Muslim world.
And as it is saying, Thank you, it so much mat Allah bless you and
increase your alley, the easiest way to get to the Google Classroom
is just to copy the code. It's just a copy of the code. Of
course, the instructor reserves rights to change the schedule. As
I see people growing as I see people learning, we can go faster
or go slower. My goal is that everyone who comes here feels
valued.
Allah subhanaw taala loves you. And Allah subhanaw taala brought
you to study his book. So that means you have a right on me.
It's not the teacher. That is the center of this is the last month
data in everything that's happening tonight, guided us to
care about his book, lie in this time in this time where Kufa is
everywhere. Where Haram is everywhere. Allah subhanaw taala
chose you
to want to learn his book. So the one who's teaching
has to make sure that everybody feels valued to Hamdulillah. And
everybody grows hamdulillah I'm not really worried about
discipline, you know, I think we'll be fine. Let's quickly look
at this the first eight weeks and then we'll take a two week break
and we'll come back and continue. And I'm an I'm an imagining that
this this Kowloon would take three, eight week sessions, three
eight week sessions, learning the rules of Cardone, actually is very
easy. But I want to make sure that we're reading correctly, what I
mean reading correctly, it's not like you have to be worried, like
OCD correctly, but that you know what you're doing. And that you
have, I see you have enough skill set to continue to keep going. So
tonight inshallah we have our intro that we're going to talk
about the first three rules of PowToon. Then the week after,
we're going to review rules four and five in the text. And then on
the seventh of August in sha Allah, we're going to review then
we're going to start practicing our reading, every time we review
what we took. And then we'll take the sixth rule. And then on the
14th, again, review, practice reading rule seven. And here we're
going to start homework is not like home or like, you have to
feel a burden. But I want you to start reading and everyone who
knows me has been my student, you know, because it's such an
important chapter, we're going to be practicing with Soto gerat.
Because of course Soto Giora to 49 Chapter The Quran is called sort
of to edit the chapter on character.
And then on the 21st of August, we're going to review practice
reading rule eight, then on the 28th, I'm going to meet with you
all individually on that day at different times through the Google
Classroom just to do assessments to check in with you to see how I
can serve you better how I can improve myself, what are things
that I can do to facilitate the learning for you and to motivate
you and keep you going. On the fourth of December, we're going to
be reviewing rule nine practice reading. Then on the 11th we're
going to be reviewing rule 10 Practice reading will almost be
halfway done with the rules by that time. And then on the 18th we
have exams but these exams we will do them again I will schedule you
with them with them with you. And like you don't have to worry about
pass fail and you
I want you to be able to read to me so who gerat really well in sha
Allah, who to Allah.
There are a few other things that I want to show you.
And that is this is actually our Google Classroom. Here's the code.
And here you can see what the Google Classroom was, like really
important. Here's the text that I've written. It's not finished,
it's not edited. So please don't like, share it or put it out there
yet, inshallah we plan to publish it soon. Here's the print of
PowToon. And Saad is asking about the total, we're not really going
to go into the Toyota Halloweenie. We're just going to be reading the
three Ebina sheet. And we'll talk about that next week. We're just
reading with one today because the to the one in which I've been a
sheet, which is the three of Sharpie, but that's a great
question. If you don't know what Saad and I are talking about,
don't worry about it. It's not that big of a deal. Here's the
link to Chicago History reading Carlone. You should live with this
like, you should, like live with this every day.
And here's the course syllabus that I just posted. I'll check and
make sure why you can access the syllabus inshallah. It's also
available on the App. Amira, I'm so happy already students are on
there. Dang, man. guys ain't playing around. Are there any
questions? Now? Bismillah will be mushiya Tila before we get started
does anyone have any questions?
I'm more than happy to take them we have 12 amazing people here
tonight Mashallah. And that's such a beautiful thing I have
any questions you can chat them or you can also feel free to raise
your hands if you have any questions. I'm happy to take them
from your child
Yes, Addy, please go ahead.
I've been going through like some of the courses like the first
stitch week course which is on AFS
and I haven't completely finished it it's probably what I've been
learning throughout my life. So I wasn't I wasn't sure if this class
would be for me, but I was really just looking for having like sofa
with a person like an in person teacher to make sure my recitation
is correct. Should I be in the sports or should I look more? I
think you mentioned office hours before for like practicing
reading. Should I look more towards that and focus on
AppSource? So what's interesting it may Allah bless you such a
great question. First of all, you're in the right place. So I'm
the law. Welcome. Welcome.
You have an awesome last name so I shall Allah Allah has Rama is with
you wherever you go.
So actually, Kowloon is actually the first rewire taught to
students. So Mr. Michel, to me, he mentions it first, of course, due
to geographical reasons. We don't learn Kowloon first. But for
students like students of knowledge when we're learning the
seven, and then the 10 later in a Dora, Polonius talk first. And the
reason that Kowloon is tough first is its net is really, really
strong.
And then number two is it's very easy. So like Huff's and Kowloon,
there's just a few subtle differences, especially with the
trick of Ebina sheet that we're going to read. So I don't think
you'll actually find a lot of difficulty. In fact, it may help
you. Because certainly I'm going to be telling, like at the end, I
think our last section, it's an entire section where it's
different than half. So like, you'll be fine. It'll be fine,
Inshallah, you'll be fine. Yes, sir. Abdallah, has his hand up.
Some of them are looking. Can you hear me? Yes. Brooklyn is in the
house. Yeah, you know what? How's it going? How's it going, bro? I'm
glad everything's weld. Everything's about hanging in
there. Hanging in there.
Is this class targeted towards a certain age group? Or are you just
taking students in? And is there anywhere I should start before I
start this course? Yeah, so like, I think you want to start with
Tajweed one.
If your reading is not up to par, I would encourage you to go with
SR Eman on Sundays. But someone should have like a basic, a
decent, pretty familiarity with Tajweed. Because I'm not going to
be able to stop and always just, like go through what terms are.
But I think you'll still benefit bro. Like, I think you'll still
find benefit, like Inshallah, and I'm always thinking about how do I
teach to like, people who have the least amount of exposure first?
Yes. Like I always try to think about how do I scale up? It's
starting somewhere, like really difficult. And then and this this
narration actually isn't that hard. So it's, it's, it's really
hard to make this narration hard. Honestly. That's why we're
teaching it.
And also, there's other goals behind this as educators that we
have at Swiss like one of the goals of Swiss is to make sure
that the data are preserved in the English language. It's very
important for us but then also to make sure like even with half's if
you look at Swiss season
To to make sure that we're reading with a standardized way of Huff's
not just like here and there and everywhere, but I think it'd be
fun inshallah. Inshallah Thank you very much granulations on your
baby also, sir yes these these are like this man I'm
not night
that's my husband also recently recently joined so welcome Asmaa
Nice to have you here Hamdulillah. So let's get started sha Allah and
there always will be time for questions at the end. Here's a
book that I've written 100 I wrote it,
I think in two weeks, so there's going to be some, like, editing
issues always I haven't got to yet to a copy editor. She's about to
start looking at it. And then we plan to publish this, we actually
plan to publish a small book in the future that has all of our
Swiss books in that book, if that makes sense. So like you would
have like your Swiss Swiss texts.
And also in the winter we're going to launch an academy at Swiss for
chaplains and Imams, as well as religious workers. That's
following the as heart curriculum with three or four as her
professors or teachers here in the United States. And actually on
August 6, it's going to be an Arabic this one but the one in the
winter will be an English hamdulillah full time program that
people can do on their own time. So full time but you
you pace it will start in the winter inshallah.
But on August 6, we have this the son of one of my teachers, Dr. Dr.
Fattah Hijazi. Dr. Mahmoud Hijazi is going to be teaching
Imam Al because weenies abridgement of a really important
text by Imam Bay happy called the branches of Eman that goes through
like all the beautiful things about faith and we have a really
awesome translator so I think it should be fine insha Allah Who
Tada so let's get started. Smilla hamdu lillah wa salatu salam ala
Rasulillah Allah Allah subhana wa Tada you Sahelian and handle amor
communist Allah Who Subhana wa Tada a Jana McCulley seen if you
need it now awkward in our mid nyatoh, but not me. So the rules
for for reading PowToon I want you to just take a deep breath, and
prepare yourself for a really cool journey.
And I hope that all of us can develop. I know Amira, I need to
come to your house, I promise I'm coming. Now I live in Maryland.
But I don't want you to see me just as a teacher, but also as
someone who embraced Islam. I'm with you in this journey too. Like
I have a jazz from the very good jazz and Kowloon
from my teacher that I read to hamdulillah while back, but it's
not about that man. It's just about when the Sahaba learned
Quran, there was a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood amongst
them.
So I want us all to like just take a real quick moment to think Alas,
punctata for letting us study his book man
that Allah chose you is if anyone came in here tonight, you're
having a bad day. You're like having insecurities. Just realize
alas puntata brought you here to study is
when when somebody loves somebody, they call them. You know what I
mean? And the way Allah calls us is to kill him.
Last month, ALLAH inspires our hearts hamdulillah so let's just
take a moment to center ourselves, and to prepare for this really
amazing journey is so cool. And I'm so happy that we're now able
to like bring this into Englishmen as panela and we ask Allah
subhanaw taala you know, you were filling out what Yakutia Allah.
So of course, the first rule is the bus Mala. Bus Mala in Arabic
is called NAT in h a t NAT. Nat, to me is like an acronym, like
Hamdallah is the word for Al Hamdulillah. How Allah is the word
for La hawla wala Quwata illa biLlah bust Mala? It means to say
Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim. Imam Kowloon and I put at the bottom in
the footnotes. If you want to read about Sina, Imam Kowloon. pollun
actually is an Italian word is from ancient Rome. And for those
people like myself, there's something very powerful and you
read about the early Muslims. Either they were people who
embraced Islam, or they were like the grandchildren of people
embraced Islam, like Yeah, lady, the narrator of them walked by his
grandfather was a convert. So you still find among sometimes the
early Muslims, you find you find people with names that are not
typical Muslim names, because their families are new to Islam.
So that should inspire people like myself.
Like my last name is Webb. Right? So Subhanallah My, my, maybe my
grandchildren, great grandchildren, they'll still have
that name. So Imam param Loon is actually a Roman name because
his family his ancestry
goes back to Italy. The coordinates of Sheikh Mohammed Abu
for two who are read to say the Imam Kowloon was a student of Imam
and Nephi al Madani.
The math, Imam and Fer Madani was the Sheikh of Imam Malik Quran
and Imam Neff Rahim Allah narrates the Quran in two ways that go back
to the Prophet Seisen. One way he taught to his student wash was
from Egypt, which we have the series on our watch on Swiss to
the trip of Ezra. I wouldn't advise anyone to start wash unless
you have really a strong background in touch weeds, because
the rewire of work is very different. And then his other
student was Kowloon Kowloon.
So Imam Kowloon from NASA. So what pollun has given us is called
rewire an aeration of Neff what is now if you have a tiara, the word
Chiara is synonymous with Saheeh and Hadith.
So ulquiorra It means authenticated way of reading
and what their student passed is the require
so Car Loans rewire I have a nephew, who was not the only
person who read this way. Now if it was not the only way one who
read the way Nephi reads, but they established it like what Imam
Shafi did with also Philip, he codified it so it can be taught.
Natick is one of those early Imams who begin to teach how to read
correctly. Rahim Allah Hutu era, and then he had so many students,
but the main students he had that Imam shout to be mentioned or to
say not alone, and say no wash alone is taught before wash to
students have knowledge. Why? Because I mentioned to you
earlier, and those of you who study washed with me, you know,
it's very difficult. I'm actually not in favor of how wash was
introduced, especially into America to people who may not know
how to read it all. Because it's very difficult. It's very
difficult unless they read with us behind me but that's different.
We'll talk about it in the future. So Mr. Cologne from netfit Imam
Kowloon from Nafi reads the bus Mala between every chapter except
between the eighth and the ninth chapter. This is different than
wash. Say the Imam wash doesn't read the best manner. Why do you
have these two ways? From one Amen? To show that both are
acceptable? This is what makes us I'm actually very incredible. That
in the truth, there is negotiation except an aqidah.
But with what's right you find different possibilities because
some Sahaba read with the bus Mala. Some Sahaba didn't agree
with the bus mother. At times the prophesy some Hadith showed like
the hadith of stadium aniseed nomadic. He read with the bus. You
have another Hadith of Satan and I heard him read the bus mother
class. So both are acceptable but this narration from Kowloon to
Neff it has the bus mother, not like wash between every chapter,
except the eighth and ninth chapter. So now you learned the
first rule. MashAllah you only have 90 Rules left. Was it that
difficult? Was it that hard? You know why it wasn't that difficult
and hard because you're familiar with this. You're, you know,
what's Bismillah R Rahman R. So I want you to think about this right
now. That familiarity, makes things easy. So you may run into
times in this class, where you're not as familiar with some things
and you feel a little like the deer in the headlights is okay.
But just take some deep breaths, slow down and remind yourself like
I'm experiencing this like the more the more I experienced it,
the more it will become easy just like this first rule that Imam say
nah Kowloon from saying the Imam and f it through the Toyota Ebina
sheet. You must smell bein equally Surah MA and farward tilbyr That
between every chapter of the Quran, Imam an ethic of Parliament
and ethic reads Bismillah R Rahman Al Rahim.
That's why shout to be and I don't want to make it difficult for you.
But this is a famous poem written by a blind person. Subhanallah he
said it. He couldn't even write it. Sadness, sadness, shelter B
and InShot tubbies poem that means pylon at Jed. Elif is Neff bet is
pardon. Jean is wash. But when you come across it for those of you
who want to memorize these, you don't have to always put Kowloon
and read so you can see if possible. So look what he says
Satana shouted. He says well, bus Mata Vina, Surah teeny B Sunette
in because he couldn't write pile on an ethic. How are you going to
write a poem like that? So instead, he's like a computer
scientist. He uses codes
and
Hear this is your ancestors brothers and sisters like imagine,
imagine how much they loved the Quran. A blind person dictated
this poll more than 1000 lines.
And he created a code for every party. Bet is pylon
raw is kiseki noon is awesome. Dan is even because he put it in
circles just so you can like appreciate it. So out of the seven
Euro, he mentioned 123 And then one of the students
with letters man, so cool, but he says well bas Medina Surah teeny B
sunnah tin which means to make the bus Mala to observe Bismillah R
Rahman r Rahim between chapters B Carlone sunnah is sunnah. It's
been narrated on behalf of St. Louis Salalah. Hodgson Regeneron
que se e no more her awesome house and shut about both the return the
data is even continued what the humbler
what is verse what is line of poetry means is that alone, and
the other Imams, they read Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim
one of my teachers, teachers teachers
share the bar of Baba with God who is Egyptian he died in 1961
Mashallah, he wrote an entire poem just about Kowloon
and he says for bus mill for bus Mila for bus Mila who he saw a
tiny Walsall I was getting what does that mean? That if you read
with Carlone you can connect like you can say, Well, I mean shall
rehearse the Dean either has said Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim Ebola
call our own Robin as you connect it together or you can stop Yanni
warming shall rehearse it in either has said Bismillah R Rahman
r Rahim. Paul arrows doobie Europe bien colors.
So with with pollun you have what's called was LA or El
fossile. You can read the Bassmaster connected between both
chapters or you can stop. I'm not going to talk about the different
permissible ways and impermissible ways to read Bismillah R Rahman r
Rahim why? Because it's going to confuse you. But just just
remember this if you want to connect the two sources together
with bus Mala you should not read the last
the last verse of the first chapter with the bus the bus
mother and then stop for example, write your own mouth do the other
you him whatever ball
cleaner Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim.
Edie flap you shouldn't do that. Why? Because now it sounds like
Bismillah R Rahman Rahim is an ayah from Surah Fatiha. That's the
only way it's not allowed. Just remember that. Don't stop if you
connect it to the last verse of the first chapter that you're
reading. Don't stop after the bus mela continue. But you can read it
every other way is allowed. So I just taught you the way you
shouldn't read it.
But the point is to make it simple for you just remember this when
you read with Kowloon you can you should say Bismillah R Rahman r
Rahim.
And then you
say that between the two chapters? Well, Bas muda Bina Surah teeny
beasts on that.
Here we seem sort of we see sorts of Fatiha and this is our lunes
narration. Here's the Bismillah R Rahman Rahim. So let's imagine I'm
reading Soto ness and even in wash. If you risotto nests, and
you go to Fatiha, you have to say the bus Mala but now we're talking
about Kowloon only. So let's say I'm making hot them of Quran I say
mineral Jin at one
Bismillah AR Rahman AR Rahim Al hamdu.
Hakka
What a miracle who for an airhead. Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim all
arrows will be Europe Bill Federer for colors. So you can see here
mashallah The first rule is to read the bus Mala between each
chapter, except SOTL and fell, and sorta Toba, which other scholars
agree you shouldn't do. Any questions about this first rule
and hamdulillah
before we go on to the next rule is super easy. It's not
complicated. It's not complicated.
As the next ruler hamdulillah is extending and shortening muds, the
word mud means to extend. I say to you, a Moodle la Creo de Lille
Salema Malik, I have extended my hand to you. So I can give you
salaam, the word med meme dad, my dad actually means to extend. And
we know that we have two major types of muds that all of us
learned in touch with Season One. Mud non-fossil in mud matassini
mud mud tassel is a connected mud mud mud fossil is a disconnected
that we're going to give you a few examples in a second. Kowloon
reads the connected mud with four Hasakah just remember that colors
whenever you come across a connected mud like Hola, Iike
Allah who would be him for Huracan what is for how to come in to
Mississippi, One Mississippi, two Mississippi or kids we used to
play hide and go seek One Mississippi, two Mississippi, how
Raka is like half a second actually. So Imam ha unknown he
reads the connected mud wood for Hanukkah. I want to make an
important point here that none of the pura relate reading the
connected mud with less than four Hanukkah, none of them
none of the 10 and that's why sometimes on Tik Tok or on
Instagram, I see people that have really nice voices, but they are
not reading mud metatarsal correctly and that is a problem.
Nobody should want to present themselves and unless they have
prepared themselves
for example, I see people that go what summer you were thorough.
It's not what summer you were taught it has to be for was some
you were taught for Parker at a minimum
saving the Imam alone in the way I'm teaching you. We're going to
be reading mud metatarsal with four halacha shout to be he says
and don't worry so much about Shut up this is for some of my more
advanced students who are here are watching either Eddie phone Oh
yeah. Oh hi, there Khasra team. I will well on a balmy lapel hamster
Wheeler which basically means if you find mud muck bustle, two
wheeler two wheeler which means what? At a minimum for
at a minimum for for those of you who read half's Perhaps you saw in
the back of the Quran that's printed, especially from Saudi
Arabia. It says you can do what's called Full wake al Mutasa and
more docile, you can read more docile with five. This is
incorrect. We'll talk about it in the future. Maybe I may have
addressed it in season two or season three and perhaps but you
can read house four or six not five, but for Alhamdulillah
Carlone. Our second rule whenever we come across a connected murder,
I'm going to show you what is a connected murder and a second
metatarsal for Hanukkah. That's it. So mashallah, now you finish
two rules the bus model between each chapter and then to read for
Hanukkah
we have let me see here
we'll get to it in a second.
You're talking about right here is no difference. Just when is Hamza
tawassul
just Hamza was
the second type of mud is a mud mud fossil a separated mud. There
are two ways
that Kowloon reads this one is with for Hanukkah.
The other is what what's called Casa you know cursor it means the
palace
because the answer it protects
it restrains so castle in Tajweed means you restrain the length of
the mud.
And what that means is to Chanukah. It is the preferred way
to reel Kowloon in this way I want you to read to me.
So now you got three rules. mudman fossile for Holika matassa excuse
me for Chanukah. mudman fossile to Harca colors. I don't I don't need
anything else. I don't need anything else. I don't need any
more discussions and this I just
Want you to learn how to read and I want to encourage students just
learn how to read. Just follow me. When we go in our third semester
of Kowloon, then we will and I see people read and really
confidently, then we'll unpack some other things that are more
theoretical, but not practical. I want you to focus now on the
practice. So my tussle for Harakat to Mississippi mudman fossile to
Harakat One Mississippi
and that's why she murdered the BA he says for whatsit our sore was
the metatarsal Bella. Woman fissara For whatsit, I will soar
here and any mud which has infosol mud Mufasa for worse sit or ba
means was it tawassul been for Harca
our sore or do buzzer to Hanukkah, and I set up here
the scholars prefer to
adapt through Ejaz when we read to our mache, they prefer us to read
to but sometimes they may ask us to read for just for practice.
Alice, there are other type of muds that we all know especially
in wash it becomes complicated. And in house it's very easy and
Kowloon is the same as house in all of them. Number one is battle
mud battle. Why is it called Mud battle? Because usually the mud is
caused by the Hamza
but in the case of mud puddle, the mud comes after the hams. They
inverted the exchanged mud as far as called Bedouin
men.
Men, we know of course, and wash. This can be read with four or six
Lavina
but when I read a wash where we didn't polone hamdulillah Kowloon
is a lot easier just poseur Illa Lavina um, and what I mean also it
hurt you or Tao so Bill Hapa whatsoever sold this sub hulless
don't worry about it. Him Shih Tzu Don't think too much this this
this letter, just do this. Just do
with mud button. The second mud out of this cone like LME where
the newness added on sukoon the same as have said that Imam
Carlone to Ebina sheet reads it with passer tawassul tawassul or
ich bear. If you read into me, I prefer you to us or why we didn't
get a lot of time. It may be five or six other students waiting.
I used to go crazy, especially when I was teaching wash. I would
have students who do each bath have an Alameen ser Allah this is
going to take an hour to finish one robot
how many make it easy for me man.
So we're going to read with cost
Casa finally melasma and this is what sad asked about a second ago
sort of related just like Satana Imam has six hierarchy of board
lien three long Mississippi's
if we look at the beginning of shorter Bacara we find an example
of all three types of muds. And before we look at them, I just
want to make sure you understand what is mud mud tassel and mud mud
facile and I'm going to teach you an easy way to remember this. This
is a touch weed hack. I'm gonna get in trouble with some teachers
for teaching you this. But I'll take I'll take the heat.
So if you look for example, be mad. This is a mud you don't see
the mud here because we're reading with us.
But oftentimes for example in half's
you're going to find here
on top of Matt amid
because Huff's allows you to read it with four
Carlone because of the print I'm using is printed with possible
non-fossil It doesn't even put them at
the point is if you look at that mud and you look after it, there's
a hands on a stick.
Remember this rule, whenever you see a mud on a stick, a Hamza on a
stick after the mud on an Elif that means this is a broken mud.
One fossil disconnected,
disconnected mud.
And if you studied budgets, all the hardware the heat with me, I
think touch weed season two. You already know exactly what I'm
talking about in the book. I wrote a treasure found you already. I
don't even need to explain this to you. You know what I'm talking
about. But for those of you who are what's disconnected connected,
a disconnected mode whenever you see a little mud
symbol like that.
If there's an LF
and a hands on top of it, this is called mudman. Fossett Imam
Carlone he doesn't even read a mud he only reads with us so that's
why if you look at his print, what do you not see? You don't see him.
But if you open up a half percent of the Quran, you're going to see
a mother
because have you and what do I want facile but alone in the way
I'm teaching you we don't so how would you how do we read it very
easy. While letting you know you may not want to be mad on Zillow,
e Laker one or zero, just like that. No matter what none of that
Carlone is easy. So I like to tell my students Kowloon is easier than
hubs Wallahi it's easier than hubs that's why it's taught first
so that your mama shall to be Rahimullah
when he mentioned the Quran the first few mentions
because as I said earlier said a Senate collegiate than all the
other Ascended also a strong
but also because it's easy.
So what Latina you mean are gonna be met on Zilla la Kawa Ozel so
here we see Moon fossil Moon fossil
possible, but if you look at hula, there's the mud symbol.
And there's the hems
that hams that Hamza which is called a humps is not on a stick.
Whenever you see a mud and the humps after it is not on an Elif
that's more docile. Mud metatarsal connected. Whenever you see a mud
you're not gonna see it in this print. And the hams after is an n
lf that's Moon fossil separated mud. Connected mud. Why is it
important for you? As separated mud? To Chanukah? A connected mud
for Hanukkah. That's it. Let me read it for you so you can see.
Well Lavina you mean on the map on Zillow la Kawana or Zillow. Mia
rica Well Bill you're at home you been on mcbadden
we learned earlier McDonald also without a mud wash. Or bill.
Kowloon no matter hamdulillah just like have a bill if you're at home
you will be known hula who them your rugby him What will
ICA hormones homeowner mostly home so all the methods that I just
taught you are here. Let him
out if let
me that lamb is mad Lesson Six Hanukkah
that he Cal keytab will allow ryyb Buffy who the little more 13
little more talking a little more 13 added lexicon
a Lavina you may know Anna Belhaj eBay up Moon now salata Huami Mao
was matters Akane whom your fear *
while Latina you may not want to be mad or z like LA Kawamata or Z
la mujer Cobert Iike Wabi Yachty hung up noon with
ICA Allah Who them rugby him we're all
eager hormone mostly who is better to connect here but I just wanted
you to be able to hear so here if you go back you have the text now
hamdulillah
all these type of meds are here.
If you don't know this terminology, then again look at
touch weed one and go to the section on that
and even put examples here for you.
So we took a very simple rule Mashallah. But it has a big
impact.
That is extending and shortening the months either Eddie phone Oh
yeah. Or her bandha castrati and I will well on your bum knee
L'Aquila, Hanzi two wheeler, this is mad matassa
er fi T TA Hilah for mon fossil and here's here's the part of the
poem that you want to pay attention to by Shama Baba Azeri
woman fossil for was sit our episode, madmen facile you can do
to wetsuit or bath or passer to how Raka and we said our reading
we're going to do too.
But maybe one day you go to somebody to read Kowloon and
they're gonna test you
and they're gonna ask you read the other way of Kowloon. What do you
mean the other way? tawassul
One fossil to Washington one fossil, read one fossil with what?
For Hanukkah. So if that situation you're gonna say, well let the you
know you may not wanna be
on Zillow, la Kawana
on Zillow in touch with in tarawih. I love three with
possibly. Why? Because it's quicker, but you're not giving up
any of the rules, because the goal is not to read fast.
Are there any questions about these muds later on? As we
continue to learn you're going to see how this has some relationship
to some other rules that we're going to observe. But right now,
just remember in your mind mud Minh fossil Castle l Moon fast
just like halfs that I taught you
through the 20th Club what I did, and mud mud tussle for Hanukkah
colors. How do I recognize madmen fasten their hands is sitting on
an elephant. How do I recognize after a mud? How do I recognize
mud metatarsal, their hands is not on an edit after the mud.
Tell us any questions about this before we take our last rule for
tonight. And then we're gonna do some reading. We're gonna do a
little bit of reading and practice what we learned in sha Allah
How's everybody feeling? How's everybody doing?
Just gonna do a quick check in to make sure everybody's okay. sha
Allah Hey
awesome awesome. Awesome
good to be back to bro. It's been a heck of a month and a half for
me almost died
for talking about it in the future. But hamdulillah Allah is
merciful hamdulillah Allah is Kenny.
Now we're going to take our last rule for tonight. And I
I wonder.
I wonder what this word is going to be Oh, is enter. And that means
I
Imam Kowloon for reading the Word to enter because look, Anna ends
with an Elif second after a numeral.
That's a mug.
Mug matambi
Imam Kowloon Masha Allah has some rules for this word. But if you
notice in the print, you see that little gray symbol
that means though, is not there
as though it's not there, so you don't read it. It's there written
for the meaning for the grammar. But it's it's great to tell you
don't read me just like that bummer. Don't read me connect me
to the moon the known advance I mean it one. So I gave you another
touch we'd hack I'm gonna get in trouble with teachers. When enter
the word of enemies AI is followed by any letter other than hands
Hamza, you do not extend the Fattah on the noon.
You don't read the LF pada and acquire your own men who don't say
I call that Anna Hi Roman who is a color and fit room in? So I'm
going to read it slow for you. I don't say Paula Anna for your
room.
I say Paula Anna Hi your room mean?
Paula Anna Hi your own mean? Slight difference. When Anna comes
in front of an LFO
with Fatah or dama Imam Kowloon reads the RF of Anna
so for example, is hauled to calf and the roaming camera Allah who
was Nevada. So here, Ana accelero And I say Anna Axl are really slow
for you. I read a slow for you the right way. Then I read it slow for
you the wrong way.
XL roaming Camella and I'll say Anna XL roaming Camella I read
that that that one long seconds
However, while in front of the Kassala he reads it two ways so
with thumb
or Fatah, you read it
and oh, he won't we'll meet Soto Baqarah Anna Oh, he will meet does
an or he won't we'll meet Anna or he won't we'll meet.
However, with Tesla, there are two ways to read it with column.
But the preferred way is with the Elif.
Why man Anna Illa one man Anna Illa. The other way it's allowed
warmer and cooler warmer and alert. So just remember to make it
easy for you. Whenever I see the word enter, and after it is hems
Hamza on an Elif I read the Elif of Nair.
Hollis
now what we're going to do
in sha Allah will be in the left. We're going to do some practice.
Yes, I will that way you have a question
No, no, I'm sorry. I was messing with the phone. Sorry. Why are you
playing man pay attention brah I am
gonna put you in the corner man.
Give me detention.
Sorry.
No, it's okay. So now we'll handle it. We all have sort of Fatiha in
front of us.
There's only one real change in sort of Fatiha is Medic. Medic
Kiyomi Dean without the mud is not Maddie Kiyomi Dean, Mehdi Kiyomi
Dean, and my advice to you all now is when you pray now. And when you
read Quran, tried to pray and read with Kowloon even if you make
mistakes, it's okay. Those aren't mistakes that are going to
invalidate your prayer.
I'm going to read it for you. If you guys want to read along with
me. You can also unmute yourself and read along with me as well.
And in sha Allah, I'm going to show you just a few of the
differences in Kowloon that we may run into and most importantly,
practice the rules that we learned today.
sha Allah so let's begin with throttle Fatiha Alder bIllahi min
ash shaytani R rajim
Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen All
right, Manuel Rahim. Mehdi Kiyomi the I didn't say Maddie Kyo will
meet the NFL. Fellas.
Imam shout TV says well, Maddie Keo Medina, Ravi, you now see Ron,
we're in the Salatu was Irati the Cambodia and americium Medina era
we now see Ron, Yanni Maddie Kiyomi Dean, only two of the seven
read it that way.
The other five they really like this Medicare to meet the Medicare
to meet Dean a year cannot go to Hawaii kind of stay in the house.
You're almost stalking him. Sir Otto Lavina and Anta Alejandro
Hiruma Mojito who will be on a hem water or li
Bismillah AR Rahman AR Rahim. I'm going to test you guys you guys
tell me if I read it wrong. Okay.
It did not set out almost Akeem Sirata Levine and Talay him Why
don't Mel do Brd him What else was on Lina? Bismillah you're right
Manuel Rahi
le if
he was there any mistakes there?
Alright, help me I'm a new Muslim. I need some help.
You recited the last verse of Al Fatiha with the best metaphor
blocker and you stopped before saying Alif Lam mean? Yeah, that
is not allowed.
Nice. Good job. Who said that? Who was that?
Funny as a career
as a career of any insha Allah. Allah What
is your name? Yeah. All right. So Sirata Lavina and I'm Talay him
here Oh Melco beyond the him What else all the
add if
me anybody catch a mistake?
The abysmal I was gonna say
yeah good see any hard bro
somebody's like all but man. I'm reading nothing man. I'm reading
Imam nerfed people first of all people shouldn't talk like that.
Who studied the Quran? Yeah and Accra nerfed when our Quran she be
three naffaa la Yeah, he just be easy, man. It's not correct.
That's wash does not calm
us. Maybe somebody asked why. Why one of my teachers used to say in
the College of Sharia. If Muslims would study the Quran at they will
never argue about religion. You
I like in the right things
because the karate teaches us maturity teaches us how to like
appreciate correct differences, not wrong differences, correct
differences. We can argue over bad differences. But with Adam Of
course, so I'm going to try you guys are hard teachers by the way,
I'm starting to get intimidated here.
It did not sit all tall Mr. Team serata leadin and I'm Talay him
Jairo mouth to be out at him What up on the
Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim Allah if
me What if I were like this guy's very flat I mean, would that be
wrong?
Of course because this is a mud lesson.
So this has to be six.
That if let
me
daddy Kalki tab all right, you Buffy who the little more Turkey
same as have
a levena You mean No, not like wash wash? You mean? pylon? You
mean on eBay eBay up more now saw that. Wash salata. Hiuen and
Huff's Salette Well, I mean, Melrose up on a home your for your
own?
Well, Lavina you mean wanna be mad on Zillow, Eli Yukawa on Zillow
Mia barbaric alright, I'm looking for my teachers to correct me
while letting you know you may not wanna be
eat a coma or Z Damiano Baba Rika Wabi Yachty whom you pinion. Of
course this is wrong. I read this like mud mud lesson.
But there's no mud. This is my past. And there's a rule if you
read with customer with mudman fossile you have to read it the
rest of the way with us. Don't mix it don't go Bhima owns de la la
Kawana
it's not it's not appropriate. It's called the ABA Phil Chiara
hula
Yuka Who does your rugby him What will
go well, mostly who colors I'm just going to read a little bit
more so you can see what's coming in the next few weeks and then
we're gonna go to one more verse and we're finished for the day.
In levena, Kefar roost
on it him.
Dr. Home, you hear something different here. This is called to
heal. To heal means to cut the hands in half.
So and not half don't make a hat sound. Imagine if you just read it
read half the hands up. So you don't say at you say
this is what that symbol means it's in the book. It's coming in
two weeks. We're going to be introduced to something called
tells he tells he'll with seen is very important. But also you
notice there's a mud here in the hall Elif this is something which
Kowloon does that watch doesn't do or has doesn't do watch
that will dare home we know what
that would tell him he also had to see you. But not the same way as
Padam
you're not learning this now. But just to show you it's coming.
So
own it alley him.
Though tear home, learn to do your homework, you mean goon colors.
There's one other thing that we want to go through quickly. And
then we're going to stop for any questions or any thoughts. I hope
everybody's doing well. I'm going to also review what we took
tonight hamdulillah and sha Allah then we will be done. These Neela
these beautiful verses of the Quran in surah baqarah
Alhamdulillah we find our rule for Anna
rule that we learned
how to Allahu Tada our law who early you will levena man who
hears mcbadden mn we don't say
like wash. We really like have a call on the same law who are the
EULA, Xena, man who you read you home you know guru Murthy you
didn't know
While levena Cafaro ow the what type of mud is disguise? There's
the mud
there's the Hamza
is this a connected mud or disconnected man
who knows
bass or quiet
is connected. Yeah, it's connected. Why is it connected?
Because that's not on an Elish
we
overmuch Bahu to you hurry Juna home. Nori Isla de roomette hula
why don't I read that because that gray means it's it's only there
for the spelling and the grammar. But now for the rest citation hula
here's again mud metatarsal connected mud. hula
hula girls have one at home fee hair, Holly dune. And here comes
our rule. And I'm Tara either levy
mud Lesson Six hierarchy. If the mud after there is a shutdown,
this means that half of this gene is suku and half of this gene is
Fatah. So that's why it's my blessing.
I'm Tara Isla de
jure Ibrahima Europe BV rugby he Silla
but again this is mud mud fossil How do I know it's mudman fossil?
Because the hams after is on an F for Europe BV and who loves von
Moltke is order Ebola him or be a lady you ye will you meet? Paula
Anna here's Anna. Oh man. How do I read it you guys tell me if I read
it right or wrong? Be easy on me though. I'm new to this order and
oh he will meet or is it Paula Anna or you will meet I'm going to
read it slow all or he won't need or Paula Anna or you will need
which one is correct the first or second?
Second, the second? Absolutely. Because here's Anna and after it
is what
if Muhammad Musa Ahmad mormor and Aliff with hems and Bama?
Allah Ana Paula, Paula Anna or you will will meet? Mashallah.
Mashallah. So today Alhamdulillah. We took these rules, and I want to
show them to you one more time to make sure we can go over what we
did. We did a brief introduction hamdulillah next time we're going
to just jump into it. We talked about first of all bus matter or
bus model bene Surah 20 B Suniti.
Imam Carlone ubass mil Banasura. Teen my dad unfairly what Toba
imam of Kowloon he recites the bus Mala out loud between every
chapter except and found what Toba? And of course if you finish
Ness, and go back to the Fatiha the bus Mara if you stop at a
chapter and go to the beginning of like if I finish auto calf
Hollis and then I go say to Surah
saw a little Allium run if I finish shorter calf and I go back
to Anam Ron also Basavaraj Bismillah R Rahman Rahim Allah for
me
the second road that we took him to the lab to the bass Mala is for
the mud matassa and Moon fossil in particular but other modes in
general just to make it easy for you. And Carlone he reads the mud,
the connected mud for Huracan.
Canada who then Robbie right to long Mississippi's in Arizona Oh
yeah. Her back there Castleton I will well and balmy lucky allow
