Brothers and sisters
and honorable Sheikh Salaam Al Amri
for our,
7th verse of Al Qawah itul Arba,
the 4 principles of shirk.
Brothers and sisters who are joining us on
Facebook and on YouTube, welcome.
And, those brothers and sisters with us in
Zoom,
As we inform you every week, inshallah,
for questions,
we only take them on Zoom. So please
kindly join us on Zoom if you wish
to ask questions.
And, please prepare your questions. Those who want
to ask verbally will be given the opportunity.
And those who wish to write to us,
you'll be able to give them you'll be
able to write to us as well inshallah
on the chats.
Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
today is the second
fundamental
or principle
of guide that
The second rule.
The sheikh Rahim
is laying these foundations
and these principles
so that when you argue
with others,
there are there's a common ground and there
is a there are principles we agree upon
to make our discussion fruitful.
So the author and the first principle,
he elaborated
and expounded
and
and explained in detail
that those whom
the prophet was
sent to,
they were,
they believed
in the lordship of Allah or the unity
of the lordship of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
and they were doing
many,
rituals
that are,
remnants of remaining
intact from the,
the middle of Ibrahim alaihis salaam and
the Abrahamic,
creed.
So
they were not
denying the the existence of Allah or the
lordship of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
The only problem they had,
the majority of them,
that they did not
single out Allah with
respect to the
the the their
own actions.
So they set up bills
and partners and intermediaries
between them and Allah, and they made
partners with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
And that's why Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
sent
the messengers,
not to cause the people to the unity
of lordship, but to cause them to the
unity of worship.
So today,
the second principle
is refuting
another point here, and he is trying to
explain
to his opponents
this principle.
So this second principle says
means the Arabs.
The Mushriks, of
They,
the other
agents,
said,
we did not call upon them
and turn towards them
except
so this is the reason,
to seek nearness
and intersect it with Allah.
So this is the argument
of the Arabs.
They did not take them
as partners in the sense
that they own
any part of this kingdom
or that
they provide or that they create
or that they can help. No.
Only as intermediaries between us and Allah
so that they
bring us near to Allah
So this is why we have taken them.
It is the same argument
of the Mushriks
who followed them. The same so this what
the Sheikh faced.
So we are not taking them, we do
not worship them,
but those they have a status with Allah,
so they will
intercede for us.
So it is the same argument.
We do not call upon them and turn
towards them except to seek nearness.
And Allah
mentioned that in Surat al Zumor
So this is what Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
said about them, and he mentioned their argument.
Those who take aliyah
besides him.
So they have taken
besides Allah.
We worship them only that they may bring
us near to Allah.
Closeness.
Allah will get between them
on the day of resurrection
regarding what they were differing upon.
Then Allah said,
Allah, guys, it's not him who is a
liar
and a disbeliever.
Verily Allah,
Whoever is a liar. So Allah considers them
liars.
Yes. They are liars because
these idols or those whom they have taken,
they will not bring them closer to Allah.
They cannot.
They will not bring them closer to Allah.
So they what what they are claiming
is a fabricated
lie.
Dayanid even Waqar even
kafar,
so Allah
describe them as liars and disbelievers,
which means
no one can bring you closer to Allah
So these
idols, these
that
you are
using as intermediates between you and Allah will
not bring you closer to me.
And this is
unforgivable
sin because we are associating partners with me.
So Allah refute them regarding
that they bring them closer to Allah.
The second part
of their arguments
of the Musharik,
they say they are also intercessors.
They will intercede on our behalf
on the day of resurrection.
And lastly, sir, Jonas,
So again,
that's why my dear brothers and sisters,
when you are reading the Quran, please
ponder upon the ayaat and see how Allah
talks
and how Allah rebukes them.
They're wicked,
besides Allah,
that which neither harms them nor benefits them.
What I have found?
They can neither benefit them nor harm them.
So why do you worship them then?
You should worship the one who is able
to cause harm and the one who can
cause also
you to benefit
and who can help you.
That deserves to be worship.
But to
worship
an idol,
an object
you made with your own hand
who can cause you no harm or bring
you any benefit.
And on top of this,
these are the ones that will intercede for
us
on the day of
to Allah
So Allah said,
do you inform me
of something he does not know in the
heavens or the earth?
Which means
what you are saying
is not true.
They will not intercede for
So this is shirk,
Allah called it.
The result is he and I above what
may associate
with him.
So
here, Allah
negated
that those whom you have taken as
will not bring you closer to Allah.
This is what you were clinging to,
that you are claiming that they
are going to bring you closer to to
Allah to me.
The second thing, also, they are not going
to intercede for you. So I've negated both.
Negated
both.
They cannot bring you closer to him,
neither they bring you closer to Allah nor
that they will be able to intercede
for you. So Allah negated
the two things.
And then the sheikh said,
the intersection,
There are 2 types of intersection.
So the the inter intersection
on the day of resurrection are 2 types.
1 is approved of
or affirmed,
and that's what we are going to to
elaborate upon,
and another style which is forbidden,
and that is
to the
as the most used to believe, that their
idols will intercede for them.
So that is forbidden and no one is
going to intercede
before Allah.
And the affirmed one
is the one that Allah
allows with his permission.
So this is the prohibited one,
that the this side of shafa'ah is prohibited
and forbidden.
So the forbidden shafa'ah
is the one that is sought from You
seek intercession from
The
this
one that you seek his inter second
is unable to do it and and cannot
intercede
on your behalf,
especially because you are asking him
something which is only Allah is able to
do
Allah is able to do.
254.
So you will release spent of that with
which we have provided for you.
Spent of what we have provided for you
before a day
comes
when there will be nobody gaining,
no friendship,
No intercession.
So Allah is denying the intercession here.
No intercession.
The intercession that you believe in,
it will not be granted and it will
not happen.
And it is the disbelievers who are the
wrongdoers.
So that is the
forbidden shafa.
And you hope you are following brothers and
sisters.
So the this is the second type of
shifa which is the one that is affirmed
that is going to happen.
It's that which is sought from Allah only.
And the intercessor,
because here we have 2. We have Shabeh
intercessor, the one who intercedes,
the one whose intercession
is sought.
And the intercessor is honored
with the intercession.
It is an honor for
the intercession.
And the one on behalf whom the intercession
itself is someone whose deeds
and speech are pleasing to Allah
because
there
are 4 components for the shafah,
4 components.
K?
The
shabeh, the intercessor,
the one who intercedes.
The one
whose intercession
is soaked.
You are seeking his intercession.
The 3rd,
the one for whom
intercession
is sought,
the one that you are interceding on his
behalf or her behalf.
And the 4th,
the subject
of the intersession.
So there are 4 elements.
Keep them in your mind to understand
the whole,
concept of Shafa.
Now
let us now elaborate
on what the Sheikh Rahim Allah
said.
First of all,
what is shafa?
What is shafa'ah?
The root shafa'ah?
To make 2,
to make even.
Because,
normally,
there are 2 major
2 major elements in the jafar,
the and
intercessor
and
the the one
whose intercession is sold.
So we have the even
and
one.
K.
So if you are playing
the
you make it even, you activate another.
So you make it even.
So in the,
according to
the lexical definition,
it's to
make even
or also
it's a means,
vasila
and vasila,
of getting something.
So the one the intercessor is trying to
get the intercession,
the permission from the mashur elaihi
mashur elaihi,
okay, The one who's intercessionist. So
it is a wasila. It is
means of getting something.
That is from the
linguistic perspective.
From the
convention
of the earth or the custom or habits
is to asking good for someone,
for others. You're asking
good for others.
Shafa'ah,
asking good for others.
So if someone
made something wrong,
he's in jail,
so you go to the
the,
police
officer because he's your friend,
you talk to him to bring this guy
out.
So to do something good
for others.
So that is
the
definition
as
a norm, as agreed,
as a convention,
as a
customary,
rule.
But the
religious definition or the technical definition
is
to ask Allah
on the day of resurrection,
asking Allah
to bring
out the believers
who went to hellfire
and to admit them into the Jannah. So
bringing out
the mumineen,
the sinners who are believers
but committed sins,
and now they are in Jahannam, in the
hellfire,
and they did not commit ship to bring
them out from the hellfire into the jannah.
So that is the shafaa.
Who will intercede now on that day?
Who will intercede?
There is a long hadith on Bukhari about
the shafaa
when the people
are waiting
for
the hissar, for reckoning
on the day of recompense
and the sun above their heads.
So the people, they go
do the prophets
and messengers,
and the hadith is long.
They come to Adam,
and everyone is saying go to
so and so, go to so and so
until they reach the prophet.
Then
the prophet,
he will enter he come.
He say, yes, I will intercede now.
I will ask Allah
to start the reckoning.
People, they just want to
the
the hisaab to start because
it's
too
painful for them.
So he said, I
will say, oh my lord, my ummah, my
ummah.
Because first of all,
he said, I come
and I frustrate
before my lord.
The
will not intercede
without getting the permission from Allah,
and he prolongs the sujood,
and Allah inspires him with adriya,
supplications
he never knew before.
Then Allah tells him,
raise your head now
and ask.
And whatever you ask will be
answered, will be given.
Then Allah tells him, go and bring forth
everyone
in whose heart there is faith in the
weight of a barley grain.
So he Allah tells the prophet
go,
and whoever has
iman in his heart,
equivalent to the weight of the
grain of barley,
bring him out. So I will go and
do that.
Then and he comes back to Allah,
and he does the same thing.
And he prays and obligate
and cries to Allah. Then Allah tells him,
go and bring forth
everyone in whose heart there is the faith,
the weight of a small ant
or a mustard seed.
So I will go and do that.
This is second time. Go.
Whomever you find,
he has
iman in his heart equivalent to the weight
of the mustard seed,
bring them out.
And then
he goes and brings them out.
3rd time, Allah tells him,
go and bring forth from the fire
everyone
in whose heart there is faith,
imagine the weight of the lightest
lightest
grain of mustard seed.
So I will go and bring them forth.
So this what Shafa'a
Ar Rumah, the great Shafa'a
that will be giving.
And this is Maqam al Mahmoud,
which every Muslim,
ask Allah
to grant it, to give it to the
prophet Allah said.
So the my dear brothers and sisters in
Quran and Sunnah,
it is approved,
mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah
Quran,
who is going to intercede
except with his permission.
And in the
The prophet said,
so the prophets,
the angels,
and the believers
will intercede.
So
the prophets also, they intercede.
But who will intercede first? The prophet
but also
the other prophets also, they intercede. They make
shifa for 3 people.
So the prophets, the angels, the believers will
intercede,
and Allah will say,
there remains my intercession.
Then he will take a handful
from the fire
and bring forth some people whose bodies have
been burnt
and thrown,
and he would throw them into a river
at the entrance of the Jamuna Paradise
that is called
the water of life.
And then
those, they will be the last to come
from the hellfire.
They will have necklaces
around their necks,
and it will be written.
Those are the one that Allah
emancipated.
The types of shafaa.
The shafaaatul Ummah, the great shafar, and that
is for prophet Muhammad
This
is the great shafar.
He will intercede,
and Allah will
give him the honor
of interceding
on behalf of his,
so to bring out the sinners
from the hellfire,
Muslims
who committed sins,
major sins.
So because of that,
they ended up in Jahannam,
but they are believers.
And the prophet
The places of wudu
in the hellfire, the hellfire does not
burn it,
the places of wudu.
So
the great intersection by asking the law for
the sinners and the and
this will refute the deviant sets like the,
as we are going to know,
who are saying that,
the perpetrator,
one who commits major sin,
they are saying,
whoever commits a major sin
in the he is
in between.
He is in a state,
neither a Muslim
nor a couple, in between
in the dunya.
This is his
status. This how we
treat him. This how we deal with him.
We can neither say he's a Muslim nor
a non Muslim.
But in the hereafter, he is a copper.
He's in the hellfire.
So the hadith of Shafa rebukes them,
and they are saying that they are going
to remain in the hellfire forever.
So this is the belief of the
and
the sunnah refutes them,
and the Quran refutes them.
Because Allah said
Allah does not forgive.
Should
just don't listen.
So Allah does not forgive associating any partner
with him, and he forgives
anything else less than that to whom he
wills. So
committing
is less than shit.
Killing is less than shirk. Stealing less than
shirk.
So it is under the divine will of
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So all these deviant sects in the history
of Islam,
they must understood
the deed because they did not follow
the way of the Sahara, the way of
the salah.
They did not learn from the Sahara.
They did not follow
the methodology
of the companions.
They did not follow the methodology
of their students,
or the 3rd generations.
That's why they want to say
in their understanding.
After the huddah, guidance has come to him
and explained to him, where
And he follows out there
the way, the path of the.
When this came down, who are the
here?
Who are the believers here in this?
The Sahara.
No doubt.
Not the masherics.
Not the people of the scriptures.
So Allah is saying if you follow,
if you're contained,
and if you oppose
the way of the prophet
of
the
prophet.
After the Buddha,
the guidance has come to him.
And he follows other than the the path
of the believers.
We shall leave him in the path that
he has chosen.
And we are going to make him taste
the chastisement
of the hellfire.
We can taste.
What an evil destination.
So whoever
adopts
a way different than the way of the
Sahara, this what will happen to him.
Because
the way the Sahara they were upon was
the pure Islam,
The Islam that was told
to them
by the prophet
The Islam that was revealed.
That's why Allah
said regarding the
the Sahaba
Allah is pleased with them and they are
pleased with Allah.
Because
they were upon the right
way.
That is what Allah wants.
They worshiped Allah as he according
to what he wants
and on his terms
as told to them by the prophet salawahu
alaihi wa sallam.
That's why Allah
is pleased with them.
That's why
Allah said
Allah is pleased with the believers, so we're
giving you the blade,
the undertaking,
the bayah,
and then the tree.
And he said
and all of them Allah promised them aljannah.
So
the Hadid of Shafa'a
refutes
the Martyrsalites
and also
the the
the
the the the the the the the the
the same thing.
To them, one who commits a major sin
is out of the fault of Islam,
and he's a.
And Palestinian refuted them. They said,
if you are considered someone who commits a
major sin as a,
and we know the rulings in Islam
for someone who leaves Islam is capital punishment,
but the ruling that someone commits theft is
only to cut his hand.
If someone
commits Zina if he is married,
yes, capital punishment, but if he is not
married,
only
lashes to be lashed.
Allah didn't say that there should be capital
punishment because he's
capital punishment is someone
overstated.
Also,
that is so here, the prophet
which is here, this this, the,
the the merit there and the honor that
you will be given to the prophet
only prophet Muhammad will do this.
The great shefa'ah for him.
Second thing,
of where he will intercede with those who
are in their fire. Second thing,
the prophet
will intercede also
with those who good whose good deeds
and sins are equal.
Muslims,
their good deeds equal their
evil
misdeeds.
Those who will be in the in
between.
So he will intercede
on their behalf, and he will ask Allah
to let them enter the Jannah.
The third thing that to raise the ranks
of some, also another group that the prophet
will intercede for them is
people who are in the Jannah already,
but he intercedes for them so that Allah
elevates their ranks in the jannah.
This is another
type of intercession.
Also, he would intercede
for people to enter the jannah without reckoning.
70,000.
They will enter the agenda without
hijab.
Ibrahim Hassan is one of them.
Those who do not see and
put their trust in Allah and
do not concurize
and do not believe in evil almonds,
as mentioned in the hadith.
Also,
the prophet of Salem, he would intercede
on his uncle, Avotallu.
Though Avotallu will be in the hellfire,
and the tops of Salem will intercede for
him, and Allah will reduce his punishment in
the hellfire. He's in the hellfire.
He'll be wearing 2 shoes,
pair of shoes, and his my brain his
my brain is will be boiling because of
that.
And he is receiving the the minimum, the
least punishment, but he's in the empire.
He will not come out of it because
the this relief of
the will not come from the empire.
So that is
the
which is
calling from the.
Peculiar,
special Shafa'ah, this degree, this,
type of Shafa'ah will be be giving to
the prophet.
Then there is the common Shafa'ah
for others.
Angels,
they make shafar.
The prophets, they make shafar. They intercede.
Shuhada,
the martyrs,
the shahid will bring 70
of his family from the hellfire.
The believers,
they also intercede
for
others, asking
Allah to bring
others,
believers on the hellfire.
Children who died before reaching the age of
puberty,
which we call them.
If you have a child die before reaching
the age of puberty,
he will be waiting for you at the
gates of the Jannah
as mentioned hadith.
Those children will be there.
Angels will tell them go inside. Go out.
They say no. No. No. Bring our parents
from the hellfire.
We'll not go inside. Bring them.
And the Lord tells the angels bring the
your their parents.
So those children who died
when they are still young,
they are waiting for you there.
And this is what
some I find those fools, they say, why
this child died young? What did he do?
He didn't enjoy life. What was wrong with
you? He's in the journal.
He's in the journal,
and he's waiting for his parents. And he's
going to bring his parents from the hellfire
as well
if they entered the hellfire.
The different
views regarding
the shafah,
all opinions,
all stances.
The view of the Mushriks
the and
those who go to extreme.
They worship
the
saints.
They believe that
those whom they
venerate
and respect to the extreme,
they can intercede on their behalf just in
the same way people intercede
for Shaba on earth.
So this is their perception.
This is their view
of the Shaba'a. This is how they they
view the Shaba'a and the day of resurrection.
Just like when you
intercede here on earth.
When you're going to see the in earth
here for someone,
remember,
there are 4 elements of the
intercessor,
the one
whose intercession
is sought.
3rd,
the one for whom the shafar is sought,
which is
and
the subject
of the intersection.
In Bedunia,
the intercessor
goes to a shaver, goes to the mature
lady,
the intercessor
goes immediately
to the mature lady
to the one whose intercession is served.
For example.
For example,
the police call you.
The police call you.
You picked up the phone.
The police officer is telling you,
please come to the police station
because we have your son with us
here.
So you what?
When you met the police officer, he you
recognized each other, and he is a your
your close friend.
And he said your son did the following.
K?
He broke
the window of
one's car, and he stole something then.
So now he has to be
put in jail.
Now he's your son,
and you this is your close friend.
So you told him,
I will
pay for the the damage he caused,
and I promise you he will never do
it again.
I will take care of him. I will
discipline him.
Him. Because he is very close to you,
you manage to influence him.
So he said, okay.
This time,
we let him go. If it happened again,
he will be thrown into into the jail
into jail.
So here,
the intercessor,
Shashafah,
influences
and influenced
al Rashur
Elayim.
He influenced them.
And he spoke on behalf of his son,
El Mashua Lahu.
Mashua Lahu, the son.
And the subject of the inter second, the
first.
This is in the duniya,
but in the,
it is not like that. It's totally different.
Because in the,
the interceptor
cannot influence
al mashhoorillahi.
The shaba cannot influence al mashhoorillahi.
The intercessor cannot influence the one
whose intercession
is showed, and that's Allah. Who can influence
Allah? Who can make Allah do something He
doesn't want to do? No one.
No one.
So the shafa and the akhilah is not
like shafa and the duniya, totally different.
Shafa and the akhilah,
they moshmur elayhi, the one who's intercepting Assad,
has to be pleased
with the with
the
If Allah is not pleased
with the one
for whom the intersection is sought,
he will not
be given the shafa.
Allah will not allow the intercessor
to intercede.
That's why.
In Bukhari,
when Ibrahim alaihis salaam,
on the day of resurrection,
he meets his father, Azza,
And he asked Allah to intercede on behalf
of his father?
Allah said no. Ibrahim.
So Ibrahim is the intercessor.
So
Allah said no.
Your father is
So I will not allow you to intercede.
Imagine Ibrahim is spoken to his father.
And
immediately,
Adam becomes a male hyena.
Allah transformed him into an animal,
and
it will be and he would be thrown
into that fire in the form of an
animal.
So the shafa'a and the akhira
is totally different.
You cannot intercede on the
if the
one for whom you are,
seeking the intercession is Moshek or Casa. He
cannot.
So that's why the Mushriks
and
the the
extremists
thought that
the
is less than the. No. It's not like
that.
So this is the first group or the
first first view.
The second, the view of the Martezirah
and Khawarij,
the Martezirite and the Kharijites.
Remember those these two groups
for *?
They denied the shafar.
Why they denied the shafar?
Because they believe that
remember,
many shafar are for the sinners who aren't
that fire,
those who committed major sins.
And they are saying
these two groups,
they believe that
whoever commits a major sin is not a
Muslim
and will remain in the hellfire forever.
So if they accept
the Hadith of Shabbah and
they believe in the Shabbah,
this will
this rebukes them
and goes against they what they were upon,
against their belief.
So that's why they denied
the Hadith or the Hadith about Shafa.
So they denied
the prophet's intercession
on the hadith related
to the shafar.
Because to them,
perpetrators
of major sins
will remain in the hellfire forever.
The third view, which is the correct opinion,
is the belief of Anderson or Jama'ah.
The proof of the shafar
and the different types of shafar
based on the
Quranic
on the Quranic evidence, on the Quran, and
the Hadith of the.
Seeking the profits.
And other intercession. So now we know
the difference between the Shaba and the Aqira,
Shaba and the dunya,
and the different
views
and opinions of Shavar.
Here now,
seeking the products and other intercession.
You say?
Yeah. Of course, you have 2 categories.
So you suffocate and say, oh, Allah,
and this type of Shafa'a is Haram.
So here, there are 2 types, 1 prohibited,
1 allowed.
So to seek
the prophet's
shefa'ah
or other's shefa',
part of it is prohibited.
If you say the following,
if one says, oh, Allah.
Oh, Allah.
By the light of your prophet,
Muhammad to say that.
For Allah,
I ask you by the right of prophet
Muhammad to forgive me.
This is
Mohammed.
Oh oh, Allah, I ask you by the
right of so and so
to do this for me.
This
is
Haram. This is Haram. I'm prohibited,
and it's not allowed.
Why?
For many reasons.
First of all,
that you are making your meal,
you swear by Allahabad Allah.
That's number 1, reason number 1.
And the prophet
said,
Whoever swears by other than Allah,
has committed share.
Whoever
takes an oath in other than Allah's name,
has committed share.
So when you do that, you are committing
shit.
So that's why it is for habitat.
And this is authentic hadith in Muslimat Ahmad,
and
authenticated
So that's why it is
haram
because you are swearing
by other than Allah
That is one reason. The second reason,
no one has right upon Allah.
And you are saying, oh, Allah, by the
right of the prophet.
No one has right upon Allah. No one.
No one
has any light
upon Allah.
Because, you know, if I have flight over
you,
I would ask you to give me my
right.
So who has the right upon Allah
You say, oh, Allah, I have to enter
the Jannah.
I work for it.
I sweated for it.
I deserve it.
I could the
is that.
They say.
The righteous will enter the jail because he
deserves to enter the jail. He worked on
it. He paid its price.
Paid what? A
twice? How come? How come?
If
we cannot,
we cannot.
We cannot thank Allah enough
for just the blessing of having the sight.
You cannot
numerate Allah's blessing.
So who can claim that
I did my part?
And everything he asked me, I didn't? Who
can claim that?
We fall short.
And
the you know what they said?
They said Allah said,
And they say this is
This is the means
the price.
This is they may hit interrupt,
price.
For example,
you say,
I bought the pen
with 1
So the is the price.
So
so here,
when you see the back, that means that
what the dirham,
the dirham is the price for the pen.
So they're saying
enter
the
Here, they're saying
the price,
the the what you you were,
used to do,
your righteous deed is the price for the
genre. So the here
is the price.
So the price is
not going to come to Cameroon.
What you used to do, your last gift
is the price for the general, so you
paid for it. I was finished.
So you have to go to the general
and enter the general.
So here,
they went wrong. They did not understand
what is the in
in this ayah.
So here, the is not
not
the It's not the one which is for
the price
or compensation.
No.
It is
because.
So Allah is saying
because of what you used to do.
So it's not a price. It's not
it is
Because the has many meanings in the as
Ibnu Malik said in his.
Ibnu Malik is a grammarian and he
wrote a poem 1,000
verses
about the grammar, and he mentioned that.
He said,
These are the meanings
of the ba.
It means also
When you say
I wrote with the help and the aid
of the 10.
So this
is mister
Hannah.
If the verb is in transitive,
you want you want to make it transition
with the If the verb is transitive
You want to make it?
You have to bring that
up
to make it
To make a verb that is intransitive.
In to you need to use the verb.
That means you can make the intransitive verb
transitive verb? For example,
The man went.
Here,
it is intransitive.
Intransitive.
V I, if you
look in the dictionary.
Intransitive verb because there's no object.
In the Quran,
Allah
Why does that here came?
To make the intransitive,
to make it
to make it transitive that's why the back
came here.
With that t also, the back, like, with
along
with. Like, for example, you say
I sold the house,
means along with the furniture.
I sold the cover
with all the loads on it.
So then they
must understood this back, and they thought it
is
for compensation, like a.
I bought the book with.
Then it is.
Corruption has appeared.
Because of what they earn, the hands of
the human being earn.
So the because
of what they earn.
So there's the
where Allah
is saying
that
enter
the
Jannah
because
of what they used to do. You used
what to work.
That's
why.
I will soon know always
they are on the middle part,
and Allah and always the half would understand,
Lord.
So to say,
I ask Allah, ask you by the right
of your prophet or the right of so
and so is haram,
what reason
It is swearing by other than Allah. Second
thing,
no one has right upon Allah. No one.
We will only enter the Jannah by Allah's
No one will enter the Jannah because of
his Amal.
They said, but even you are prophet, I
said, yes. Even me. If Allah does not
encompass me in his mercy, I will not
enter the jannah.
So we will enter the jannah by Allah's
mercy
and by Allah's grace.
After entering the Jannah,
the lands in the Jannah according to the
Ahmad of the oath you have done on
the dunya.
Your your lands in the will be according
to your Ahmed.
Not enter the dunya by Allah's
grace
and mercy.
So no one has right upon Allah.
So no one can ask Allah by it,
and this you find many many Muslims,
especially
the mystics, they say
by the light of your prophet.
This is haram. This is not allowed.
The second,
which is
permissible.
Premiseable.
To ask Allah
the shefa'ah
to accept the shefa'ah of someone who is
living.
So this type of shefa'ah
is permissible.
We know that when the drought happened during
the rain of no
rain,
to pray for them.
Make us the spot. They pray this the
spot, pay for rain, and then
and the Sahaba were saying, I mean, behind
him.
And the said, oh, Allah, we used
to cry to you
and ask you
when our prophet was with us, and here,
his uncle
is
subject. So this is allowed. No problem with
that.
K?
To say Amin after the dua, a righteous
person
and the companions
did behind
Al Abbas,
And the rabble was alive,
and this refutes the mystics
who are saying that
you can ask for the,
the prophet.
The Sahaba, they did not go to the
grave of the prophet
because they knew that he is
his life is life.
It's not like when he is
among them,
before leaving them, before he left them.
So that's why they didn't go to his
grave.
They went to his uncle.
Also, you can make shafa'ah and asking Allah
shafa'ah
and you
sublocate to Allah
by mentioning your good deeds.
Indeed
that, Amal,
you think that you have done it
purely for Allah
and now you are
in trouble
and you want to sublocate
to Allah,
you can mention
the good deeds that you have done for
his sake.
As you know, the hadith of the 3
who were who got trapped in the caves,
and the rock sealed the entrance of the
cave.
So each one
prayed to Allah, and he mentioned
a good deed
that he did
for the sake of Allah.
And the rock
moved little by little
till they came out.
So that is permissible,
this time of or
this time
of getting closer to Allah or seeking
Allah's forgiveness
when you are supplicating.
Or
by mentioning Allah's names. This is the third
type which is permissible
to mention Allah's name.
So this is you are
saying to Allah
and asking him
to grant you forgiveness
and health
and protection
by mentioning his names
or mentioning his,
sufat, his divine attributes.
Oh, of a living.
By your mercy,
by your rahma.
I'm seeking your help. I'm seeking your support.
So this is permissible.
So
when you are seeking the prophets and others'
intercession, there are 2 categories,
time,
haram,
and that is to ask Allah by the
right of the
prophet or others.
And the reason,
because
it is swearing by other than Allah,
no one has right over Allah, and the
second type that it is
permissible. It is permissible,
and that is either.
Someone who sublocates for you,
righteous, and you are making ameen and saying
ameen after his
or mentioning your good deeds as the 3
who got trapped in the cave
or by mentioning Allah's names and divine attributes.
May Allah
forgive us our faults and mistakes and ignorance,
and may
Allah grant us the and
make our prophet
to intercede
for all of us to elevate our status
in the Jannahat Amin. And may Allah
reward all of you, my dear brothers and
sisters, for your patience and attendance.
Okay.
Brothers and sisters, we're gonna take the question
on this now inshallah with Sheikh's permission.
We'll take the first question here.
Can we make dua to Allah for Shafa'a
by profit?
We just answered it.
Yeah. The question has come in
asking that.
For the question, if it wasn't clear, please
message back. Otherwise, it has been answered already
inshallah.
Okay.
We'll take the next question Insha'Allah.
For your beneficial courses and may Allah grant
you and us
El. My question is related to
Istbal.
I live in North America, and sometime when
I roll
up my pants and ride it,
I attract the attention of people
without wanting it. So how to deal with
that?
Again, how to What is it?
Isbal in winter.
Isbal? What's that?
Anis, if you can kindly please,
make your question a bit more clearer and
send it over, please.
Okay. We'll take the next question.
And brothers and sisters, please, this is a
reminder we always announce this. Please make sure
your questions are clear
to the point, Insha'Allah.
Clear and to the point.
Please make sure your questions are clear to
the point.
Assalamu alaikum Sheikh. If anyone swears other than
Allah without knowledge, what is the ruling on
this?
If someone swore by other than Allah.
Without any knowledge. Without any knowledge, it's the
Tawba.
If you do repent to Allah
sincerely and
Inshallah.
Okay. We'll take the next question we have
here.
Assalamu alaikum, Sheikh, please. I have a question
regarding tahajjud alhamdulillah.
Well, alhamdulillah, I used to wake up every
night and perform
my night prayer, but unfortunately,
I don't have fixed rakat.
Some people say that's not the appropriate way
of performing tahajjud.
What is the ruling on that?
There's no limit for the charger.
Minimum,
you can't freight your request.
Minimum.
And
say now, Maui, I used to pay the
whole $92
card.
So what those people said
is not correct.
So what Allah
decreed
is going to happen
if you pray to rakaz or for rakaz,
but you can pay in twos.
2, 4,
6, 8, 10,
unlimited.
So that's the lady when Naham Matna Matna.
So the the players of Nafel
are in 2s,
and it is unlimited.
And
that's what the order I understood from the
hadith. Yes.
If you want to not to exceed,
for example,
like,
Aisha said in the hadith about the
just look to the description of the
of how the prophet
prayed.
He prolongs the.
In
he finished the.
And.
The Sahabi was praying with him, and he
he said, I decided,
I was about to leave him. I couldn't
take it.
K?
So they they used to prolong the salah.
But is it allowed
to pay more than 11 and 2 13
or 11? That's a yes.
That's a yes.
And that's why the setups
of many of them.
K?
You when you read in their biographies,
said Imam Ahmed used to pay 500 rakas
every night. 500
rakas.
And when he was tortured,
he the number dropped and became 250.
He read the whole Quran.
He read the whole Quran
in. He stood after a behind the and
he read the whole Quran 30
finish up before the Hajj
for longer in the salah. So,
my
sister,
pray as many rakat as you can As
many as you can. For the 2, 4,
6.
What Allah
allows you to do.
Is this clear to the questioner?
Yes. Inshallah, it's clear, Sheik.
Okay. We'll take
a verbal question, Inshallah.
Tamir
Orahaman,
please unmute your mic. Please ask questions very
clearly and to the point, please.
And try to keep the questions short,
as long as you have, asked the question
properly.
Assalamu alaikum, Shik.
Sheikh, I have a question regarding Al Afrad.
Yani,
a few days ago, my cousin's sister died.
So I want to know that, in this
time, is she is in I mean, she
is, she died before the age of puberty.
I want to know if she is in
Jannah or she is in her grave?
That is the question?
Yes. Yes, sir. Yes.
When it comes to the
the issues of the Afraab
that, the Hadid tells us that, of course,
the, the hadith, they talk about
the of course. We know. The body is
in the grave. They're not talking about the
body. The the souls.
So the souls of the those children,
they would be in the jannah
They will be in the jannah. And that's
why on the night of the the prophet
saw the
children,
around Ibrahim
So
inshallah, how soon is in the jannah.
Yes. This is Kasumba Zubayil from Kampala, Uganda,
Sheikh.
It's my pleasure to hear from you again.
Now, Sheikh, this is my question.
My question is about intercession.
There is a there is there is a
a a deity.
Your is it in Sahih Bukhara, I think
so,
which says
I mean, where the prophet
told
Fatima.
The pro the prophet told told told Fatima
that you Fatima. Ask ask me
from whatever
you want from me on on on this
dunya,
but I cannot elect you in in the
after in the afterlife or on on on.
Now my question is about
how can you
compare
that hadith
with intercession of the prophet on the day
of.
No. No. Yeah. There is a misunderstanding
here.
There the
was talking about
that don't rely
because you are my daughter,
because my you are my daughter. Also, he
told
his, his aunt also as well.
That he was telling them that
be your salvation is dependent
upon your.
You're.
You have to work for your salvation.
Not because you are my daughter or you're
my aunt or because my you are my
uncle.
K? I cannot do anything for you because
at the in the on the day of
resurrection, it's only after a loss of.
I cannot guarantee you anything
here. So you have to work for your
own salvation.
You have to work for your own
because
If you are delayed because of your
you didn't do a lot of deeds,
your or
your and
because your closeness to me will not bring
you closer to Allah will not.
Abu
Lahab is in the hand fire. Abu Talib
is in the hand fire.
So he is the prophet's ankle.
So he there, the Hadith is emphasizing
that you should not rely upon your closeness
to me.
You have to follow my footsteps, and you
have to work hard
for the akhirah.
That's what he the prophet was
emphasizing
upon.
He's not denying that I will not intercede
for you because he intercedes
for all the Muslims.
And Fatima is from those who would go
to the Jannah.
That is known in the Hadith,
but the prophet is
emphasizing that everyone
has to worship Allah if
he wants to get closer and he wants
to enter the Jannah.
He should not rely
on
his, lineage or because he's my son or
he's my he's my daughter or he's my
uncle. No. No. No. So there's no contradiction,
actually.
Is this clear to you?
Yes, Sheikh. It is clear.
You're black a lot. Clear.
Alright. Okay. Thank you for that question, Kasumba.
Inshallah, now we will take the verbal question
from Farooq Muhtar. Please unmute your mic.
Hello.
So this question is actually from a friend.
If we will be with those whom we
love in Jannah,
what if the people whom we love don't
love us back? How will we, be with
them?
And there's a second part,
because there will be diff When will the
Because
The first part, first.
We'll we
we will be with those whom we love
in Jannah. Right?
Inshallah.
So what if the people whom we love,
they don't love us back?
Okay. This is the first part.
And, also, in Jannah, there'll be different ranks.
Right?
So what if the people the poo the
people whom we love, they are in a
different rank than us? So how will, we
be be with them?
Okay.
Okay. Clear. Clear. Clear.
Okay. Thank you, Sheikh.
The
this is Ahmed Muhammad. I have a person
will be with whomever
he loves.
One of the companions
asked the prophet, and he said, oh, prophet
of Allah.
My deeds
or he said, a person,
his deeds do not entitle him to be
with the in the level of others
because
they beat him in righteousness.
But he loves them.
He loves them.
Though his righteous deeds, not like theirs.
So the prophet
said, almaru Muhammad ahab.
A person will be gathered
with those whom he loves.
That hadith,
when the Sahaba heard it, they rejoiced.
They rejoiced.
They felt very happy
because
you will be with whomever you love. You
love the prophet But
this love, what is it? What is
love?
If you love the prophet
and you want to be with him,
that you would follow his sunnah.
You will try your level test to get
closer to Allah
You will try to work hard to do
right of deeds.
Not to say, I love the prophet, I'll
be in the. No. It doesn't work that
way.
Because if you love the prophet,
you will
follow his footsteps.
You'll follow his sunnah.
You'll follow his,
instructions.
So
this hadith make gives you the motives,
incentives
to take them as role models and try
to follow your footsteps. Then if you fall
short,
you fall short
to catch them,
then Allah
out of his generosity.
This has come from Allah.
No one can say how or why.
Allah sees your Ikhlas,
sees you really love them.
So he gathers you with them.
Don't you? That that we just mentioned, it
seems that some of you, they are not
listening carefully.
That the prophet
also he intercedes for some who are already
in the jannah
so that's asking Allah to elevate and increase
and elevate the state of events in the
general
in the general.
So someone really
loves someone,
that's why the Sahaba the Sahaba said, I
love Abu Bakr and I love Ramallah.
So, inshallah, I will be
with them.
So if you love
the righteous, if you love the Sahaba,
inshallah, you will be
gathered in their company
in the United Nain, but follow their footsteps.
Follow their footsteps.
Follow their belief. Follow their Apida.
Follow their Hamal.
Try to take them as your own models.
Is this clear to you?
Yes, sir.
Thank you so much.
Welcome.
Okay, sir.
The next question asks,
who is Imam Ghazali,
and can I search for Imam Ghazali's books
and read? Because a lot of people do
quote him.
Imam Al Ghazali
or Al Ghazali,
Rahimullah.
His life, there are phases.
He is
one of the
towering figures in the history of the.
He was
teaching
in.
He's a
he's.
He's a philosopher.
That was one phase in his life.
He refuted the philosophers,
but he got influenced by the philosophy and
affected him.
Then he moved
another phase,
and he became a mystic,
And he left Baghdad,
and he was wandering,
and he went to Assam and Betel Muqaddis,
And in that stage, he combined his book
and,
which
is
having things that are good beneficial,
but also there are things
that
are not correct.
And there are many fabricated
and weak
in.
That's why Habib al Iraqi, he checked and
mentioned this hadith that they are there in
the here which are not authentic.
Then he came back
to Baghdad,
and after that he passed away. And mentioned
that that
he died while reading Sahih Bukhari.
That's how
Allah
ended his life,
So reading the
the books of Ghazali
by a big enough? No.
No. It's not recommended.
Not recommended.
Even the hiyalu midin, it's not recommended.
That's why
Sheikh Al Qasim,
he
extracted
the yams
and
the beneficial
things
and lessons from the
in an independent
volume
called
admonishing the believers
for the admonition of the believers
taken from.
So my advice for
as soon as of knowledge, who is a
beginner, who is not a who is not
advanced of knowledge, not to,
read the works of
Imam Mohammed Al Hazari
Is this clear to the question?
Yes. Inshallah, Sheikh. Very clear. Inshallah.
The next question I asks,
Assalamu alaikum
for the detailed explanation.
Sheikh, can we ask by taking intercession of
Allah's face
by asking by the beautiful face of Allah?
The answer, yes.
You can ask Allah the jannah by his
face.
That is an attribute of Allah
No problem.
Okay. Okay. We'll take the next question inshallah.
This
is really fascinating to me personally that you
explain a topic
just up to the point that I understand
clearly.
Alhamdulillah, learning a lot by the.
I have a question regarding asking for shafa'ah
by one's good deeds.
If we ask by that, will their rewards
in here after decrease?
Yes or no? The reward will not
decrease.
No.
Because something
you believe that it is you have done
it for the sake of Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala, and he knows
that. That's why Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,
when they mention these things,
because you don't mention them
except if you are in trouble.
So those 3 who were trapped,
each one, they said
each one has to mention a good deed.
He did it purely for Allah, and they
were sincere.
So they the rock removed and and moved.
1 of our machinations said, if you were
one of them,
what is it that you are going to
mention?
I said, if you were one of them,
what is the thing that you
were going to mention?
So each one has to ask himself, do
I have anything, any deed
hidden? No one knows about it except Allah,
and it is done
purely for
him. And if you don't,
work on it.
Work on it.
Is this clear to the question now?
Very clear.
So the next question asks,
When a woman is doing wudu
while wiping over her head,
if she has her hair tied in a
bun or a high ponytail,
does she need to open the bun or
ponytail
and then wipe or can she wipe over
her tied head?
There is no need to untie her hair.
Just while it's over the other part, and
that's it.
A woman,
she does not untie the the plates or
the plates
for the wudu
or for the janaba.
No need.
Just take take 3 handfuls of water, and
that's it.
You untie your hair if it is braided
after menses
or postnatal bleeding, nifas.
That's it. That's why
when our beloved
used to say if a woman,
takes,
she has to undo her hair
as she objected.
And she said, tell him to ask the
women also to shave their hair as well
because Aisha, she is the expert in this
field,
the wife of the.
And she said, we use only to take
3 handfuls, and that's it. And if the
is asking the woman to undo their hair,
then he should ask me also to shave
their hair as well.
Objecting.
That means your opinion is wrong.
We are the wise of the and this
is what we used to do.
Is this clear to the question now?
Very clear.
Alright. We take the next question.
Assalamu alikum Sheikh. Alright. Will all children go
to Jannah?
Also the children of
the non believers
or only Muslim children.
Kindly explain.
Well, this is a controversial issue.
K?
The, hadith,
the prophet saw them
around the
Ibrahim Ali Sarab.
And then another narration, the prophet said,
Allah knows how what they would have done
had they left.
So the letter is left to Allah
The left is left to Allah
and the Allah knows best.
Very, very clear
and,
very wise words, Alhamdulillah.
One of the sisters asks, assalamu alaikum.
I have a couple of questions.
Number 1, we have been having virtual meetings
since we started working from home.
We could just join on voice call
or some video.
I've always opted for the former, voice call.
Our manager has now demanded we should call
on video call. I'm
I'm reluctant
as it's not,
required by law,
and these are mainly for, like, catching up
and teach at, etcetera.
What would your advice be about this, Sheikh?
Well, if
it
is, you will not be, I mean, punished
or disciplined according to the law of the
company
that the, audio conversation is enough,
then carry on using the audio only.
There's no
necessity.
There's no necessity.
Because,
I personally working from home because of COVID
19.
Sometimes sometimes some meetings,
they ask to turn the cameras on just
to check.
But most of the time, the cameras are
off.
So if you are doing your job and
you are,
if the conversation or meeting
just, audio.
No need for the camera.
But if
you know that
they say that this meeting camera should be
on,
then, okay, put your on
and
and be official
in
in in the meeting.
Is this clear to the question?
Very clear, Sheikh.
Formal.
The next question,
we are seeing in some of these countries
like India,
big food
chains such as KFC and Pizza Hut,
claiming to be halal.
Do you have any advice whether
the food eating in the KFC and Pizza
Hut is permissible?
Okay. The,
you asked those who runs this,
this restaurant.
You asked them.
So if you ask them and,
and you find out that they are,
Muslims and they see
Allah.
K?
So if you are in a Muslim country
and the ones who are running these,
restaurants are Muslims,
And when it comes to the meat, you
can ask
if they are,
selling, I mean, like, beef burgers and things
like that.
Ask them, where do you get the meat
from?
You have the right.
So they say it is halal, and
you trust them, but
enjoy it.
Yeah.
Sheikh, I would like to follow-up on that
question, actually. Something that's come to my mind.
There are many, many, restaurants claiming to be
halal, their food, their meat, their chicken, etcetera,
being halal.
And I know there is a opinion that
if he's Muslim and he says it's halal,
you should just,
take it as it is. But nowadays also
some people they are saying,
but everybody now is claiming for it to
be halal when when the prices are low
and it's very likely they're getting it from
sources, which is,
Yani
may be doubtful.
Sheikh, what what's your,
advice in that situation where everybody is claiming
for it to be halal?
And we know that,
for business, people are looking for
opportunity to save money, and normally it is
by taking the non halal options.
That's one question, Sheikh. Another one is, maybe
advice if we are in doubt what we
should do.
The answer was given to by the.
When you are in doubt, leave that which
you doubt to that which you don't doubt.
Anything you doubt, stay away from it.
So halal is clear, halal is clear. And
they are a doubtful area, gray area. Leave
it. K? So this is it.
And the prophet said,
The best part of your deed is.
Means to abstain
from doubtful methods.
That is the.
Something I doubted, you stay away from it.
Don't
indulge and fall into the gray area.
You have to make sure that what you
eat is halal.
What goes into your tummy is halal,
not doubtful. If you want Allah to accept
your dua, if you want your heart to
be,
soft,
because eating doubtful
things, doubtful
issue,
matters, the doubtful
items,
they harden the heart
they harden the heart, and they kill the
heart finally
eating halal.
So one has
to make sure
that he's eating halal,
doubtful,
things stay away from doubtful matters.
Something that you you are doubtful about it,
doubt. Leave it, the prophet
Leave what you doubt to that which you
don't doubt. You know it's just halal 100%.
That's what we should eat, and that's what
we should
eat. Is this clear?
Very, very clear. Thank
you. Alright.
The next question is,
in the prayer
in Ramadan, do you recommend following the imam
in this where we will make a long
dua being that I do not understand that
which is being,
said?
For the last 2 Ramadans before COVID, I
used to not join in with the witter
prayer, but observe this on my own.
You mean you pay with the imam and,
before the witter you leave?
Yes, Sheikh. The the question I was saying
that
because they do not understand the imam, what
dua they're doing,
they used to leave the imam and then
do it with it themselves.
What your advice would be about this? No.
My advice is what the prophet said.
Whoever stands behind the imam until the imam
finishes, it will be written for him as
he or she paid the whole night. So
you are missing that reward
because he did not stay until he finishes
the salah.
So
in the tarah, we have to stay behind
the imam until he concludes the salah.
So if he is making the dua and
you don't know the dua,
just say
like the rest. Amin Insha'Allah,
Allah
will accept your dua,
but don't leave the
the jamaah
before the imam concludes the salah
because then
you will miss this
great reward.
It will be written that as if you
prayed the whole night
as you've prayed the whole night.
Or some people, they say, okay. Because I
want to delay my widow.
I'll pray the widow with the imam. Then
if you get up after,
at night and you want to pray more,
pay in 2, but no return again.
Is this clear?
Yes. Yes. Clear. Very clear.
Okay. That's a question I was before, which,
the question wasn't clear
as asked again.
Let's see how clear it is now.
The question, what is the ruling of lengthening
and trailing clothing
below ankles? Because we can
we can't roll up and ride up some
of our pants?
I didn't understand the last part.
What is
the ruling of lengthening and trailing clothing below
ankles
because we can't
roll them up and ride up
some of our pants.
Okay. Probably,
some of the
the clothing is difficult to roll them up.
That's the question, sir.
Yeah. This is Isval. Maybe he meant Isval.
Okay. Okay. So this is known as Isval.
The Isval when your garment is below your
ankles, whether it is a trousers
or is a also
the prophet said, The
isar should be to the half of the
shin.
Vocal covering. So
the best to the half of your chin.
I'm talking about men.
Women, they trail,
but now we find the opposite.
Men are trailing, women are shortening.
The opposite.
Okay?
The woman, she
pulls and drags and trail her
her robe on the ground.
That's how the robe of the Muslim.
The man to the half of his shin
or above the ankles.
And whatever is below that will be in
the hellfire.
So it is a major sin.
So one has to make his trousers when
he is
stitching them above his ankles.
Always,
when you do that, make sure that they
are above your ankles,
because the person attempted and whatever below that
is in the hellfire.
Though some of the are saying it is
haram only if you are doing it because
of arrogance.
If it then your intention is arrogance
because out of arrogance you are doing this,
that is haram.
Otherwise,
it's not.
And the answer
to this factual or this opinion
that if there is arrogance,
the punishment is more
is
more
is more. If there is arrogance added to
it, the punishment is more.
Allah will not obtain when I use a
key, and Allah will not verify him. So
the the punishment is more.
And remember
remember
the 5 rulings of the sharia,
haram, makru,
palm sunnah,
and Haram.
So now one opinion is saying it is
Haram, another one is saying
it's not Haram, but it is,
should be avoided.
So it is only 1 centimeter.
One centimeter.
You are not ready
to make your pants, your trousers
above your ankle, 1 centimeter?
And you want to take the risk?
And this hadith doesn't scare you?
So my advice for the questioner,
yes. Make sure
your garments,
whether it is,
hijab
or
trousers,
pants,
above your ankles.
At least 1 centimeter
to be on the safe side. Is this
clear to the question?
Yes, Sheikh. I believe it's very clear,
we go to the next question.
Sheikh, a question.
If I know
a family member who doesn't buy halal meat,
I have stayed with them before and didn't
eat meat
at her house.
My niece has gone to visit her now.
What is the best way to go about
this subject? Can I ask her not to
feed her meat?
I don't want to cause friction.
Okay. So here,
they are family
family members.
I'm going, for example,
to my aunt or my uncle,
and they know that they don't, buy halal.
Okay? And I'm going to stay there for
long with them.
I can't buy meat, halal meat. I said
this is a gift.
This is a gift.
Okay. So when you cook, please cook from
this meat, which is halal. Okay?
If they will not accept that,
then, okay, don't eat meat
when they cook the meat.
See? Because this is something I don't like.
I I I doubt it. I don't take,
eat only halal meat. I mean, this is,
not halal meat.
Or if you want to tell her not
to feed
your niece
meat, that's what I'm fine.
We have to be open when it comes
to
issues of halal and haram, and we have
to,
help each other as Muslims.
I don't know how really what they were.
If people are eating haram
and they are Muslims, we have to check
them. Fear
Allah.
Fear Allah
because
all of us were going to die and
Allah
will ask us
why you are not eating halal
when halal is available and I made halal,
easy for you.
So why you are,
were you insisting on eating halal? Why?
Why were you insisting?
Is this clear to the question now?
Yes, Sheikh. Very
clear. Okay. The next question I asked,
is it permissible to pray the 4 rakat
of sunnah before
without doing taslim on the second rakat?
Yes. The answer, yes. You can.
They are for, like, itself.
You make the first shahad, then you continue.
No problem,
Ishar.
Alright.
Let's take this verbal question from Abu Diop.
Abu Diop, please ask your question very clearly
and to the point, Insha'Allah.
Unmute your mic, please.
Assalamu alaikum.
I have I have this issue,
in my in my country. People have the
the habit
to invite one another. And then
when it's time to eat,
So,
let's say my friend is married
and he invites me to, to his home
and,
when it's time to eat I have to
eat with him and, and,
his wife and perhaps his sisters.
Is it permissible for me to join that
gathering?
So when
the meat is served and they are,
all of them getting together,
his wife, and you are not a.
No. No.
You are not a they say,
they are not my, so I cannot.
So these No.
We can eat as men together and leave
the women alone.
No.
Yes.
Right.
Is it clear?
Abu Dio, is it clear?
I'm trying.
It's
clear. It's clear. Sorry. It's clear.
Okay. Picture.
Ask someone who knows about it.
The next question we have is,
everybody's saying
very clear answers, and,
they've understood very clearly.
Very good.
Okay.
Can we buy from any halal butcher if
they have a halal certificate or inquire more
if the meat is stand or not?
Because some people that stand meat
is not halal. Some people say that stand
meat is not halal.
So that means we have to doubt all
the halal butchers unless they are certified by
a specific group
in the UK.
And as I mentioned of an organization name,
I will not mention the name, but, they
are supposed to be inspecting
meat to see that if it's halal or
not.
And they don't accept, stunning meat as, to
be halal, basically.
So the question is is,
can we buy from any halal butcher if
they have a halal certificate,
without questioning further, or should we inquire more
if the meat is stand or not?
Normally
normally,
the certificate, what does it mean?
Certificate mean it's just
a material
evidence
that the animal is slaughtered.
That's the meaning of it.
So
the one who will issue the certificate
is making shahada.
See, I certify.
I bear witness that this animal
has been slaughtered according to the Sharia
law.
And that's why I would accept it. But
the problem that when it just became
that the authenticity
is
down to it's questionable
now. It is just by printing certificate and
that's it.
So there's no
body
trustworthy
body that will authenticate
and certify that really this is animal is
slaughtered.
Maybe he's telling you it is a stunned
and
stunned animal.
If it is slaughtered while it is alive,
that is haram.
But what proof do I have that when
you slaughter it after spanning it, it was
still alive,
not dead?
So in this case, because of the doubt,
you have the all the right
not to buy this, and
this will actually
force them because they want business.
They will work hard if the people are
by both by by coaching them.
They will work hard
that to prove that they are authentic,
these certificates
are authentic, and this is the body you
can check, ask them
who they check the animals that the animals
are slaughtered according to the carrier.
So now if you know there are organizations
who are really
ensuring that the animals are slaughtered, then
pound them. That's fine.
If you get the test gear of this
organization,
then buy them meat.
Brothers and sisters, our problem, we are lazy.
Lazy.
Oh, this is next door.
Just few meters from there or maybe 1
kilometer,
there is a shop that I can trust
on the arsenic.
Why are you we cannot go there and
encourage them?
And then the others, they will follow them
because they want to make business.
Is this clear to the question?
Very clear,
Very clear.
Alright. Next question,
Nowadays, we see
the Imams prolong the with here sometimes 30
minutes and sometimes more than that.
My question the
dua.
Yeah. My question is, is it from the
sunnah to prolong
the dua or
is this,
innovation?
Downside
is. This long,
you are
you raise your hand, then you have to
put it down. You cannot.
And again and again.
And that's why Sheikh Bakar Abu Zayd al
Rahim Allah, he has a small or booklet
about this,
and he talked about it.
So this
prolonging the the the is
not.
It's not.
So the in the in the in Ramadan,
they have to fear Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
And many of them, they just,
yani,
mimicking,
because so and so is making this lengthy
dua,
and even they try to emulate
his voice
for the way he is suffocating
now.
Be yourself,
and the bonut should be short.
Is this clear to the questioner?
Very clear, Sheikh.
We'll take this final question Insha'Allah.
Is
it permissible for a husband to stop his
wife visiting her family
who are not practicing Muslims?
If it is not permissible, what is the
sin?
Her family means her parents?
Yes. So it will be his in laws
who are not practicing Muslims.
No. He has no right to stop them,
to stop her from visiting her parents
even if they are not practicing. Even if
they are Catholics,
leave alone. I just go to the extreme.
Here's a revert, and her parents are not
Muslim. He has no right to stop her,
to visit her parents.
Because this year,
couple of ham, they are asking to have
to her womb
and the ties of the womb.
K?
But maybe there are reasons.
I don't know.
But and maybe,
they are not the, the her parents, maybe
her brothers or aunts and distant
relatives.
If that is the case
and
she feels
that when she visits them
and she comes back,
she is influenced
by them.
So and that is affecting the marital relationship.
That is another issue, different matter.
But if she is going to her father
and mother,
her parents,
to see them even they're not practicing Muslims,
he should not stop her. He should not
stop her. He should fear Allah
because if she's nice to her parents,
she's kind to them,
and she's making them, and when they see
the way she treats them and she reminds
them and admonishes them, then
when get closer to Allah.
That's clear to the questioner.
That is clear,
and that brings us to the end of
today's
session. And,
fortunately,
but we don't want to keep you too
late.
If you'd like to kindly conclude,
today's talk was about the shafaam, my dear
brothers and sisters.
I hope
you understood this topic. It's really important.
Okay. And you should know the the
the difference between the shafaam and the dunyan,
the shafaam and the akhira,
and you should know the 4,
components of the shafa'a,
the intercessor,
which is the shafa.
Try to under normalize them in Arabic. The
shafa'a intercessor,
the ones who's intersection it is sought, and
that is Allah, and the intercessor is Muhammad
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam and others.
Then and,
the one for whom intercession is sought, and,
the one,
the subject of the intercession. And, of course,
in the devil's direction, it will be the
sins, the sinners, those who are in the
alphire.
Okay? So this topic, you should understand it,
master it.
May Allah make
us among those
whom the prophet
will
to see for all of us inside the
to elevate our ranks
in the And may Allah
increase our knowledge
in
My dear brothers and sisters,
please
please
educate
time for
on daily basis.
Put your plan.
I want to finish this.
I want to memorize the Quran
in 2 years or 3 years. I want
this. I plan your day. Put a plan
for you. Put a strategy for you.
So don't waste your time.
Time is your life.
Seeking the aim is
seeking knowledge is
Everyone prays for you, for the tolerable aim,
Even the ants in the holes,
the whales in the ocean, the fish, everyone
is praying for.
So please take this matter very serious,
and don't waste your time.
May Allah
grant us the and
the benefits and knowledge,
and make us among those who fear him,
And may
Allah reward all of you, my dear brothers
and sisters, for your patience and attendance.
