00:00:13 --> 00:00:14
			To Muslim,

00:00:20 --> 00:00:42
			I would like to call on this hot boy if we can take a quick journey back in time to an event which
no doubt is a pivotal event in the history of Islam, indeed in the history of mankind. This event
which is a story,

00:00:43 --> 00:00:44
			a story, a true story

00:00:46 --> 00:01:00
			of the nature of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam is a story of sacrifice is a story of hope,
the story of love. The story of giving is a story of

00:01:02 --> 00:01:03
			anticipation.

00:01:05 --> 00:01:12
			It's about construction. It's about buildings by establishment. It's about setting

00:01:13 --> 00:01:17
			the path and the way in the foundations for generations to come.

00:01:19 --> 00:01:22
			After years of persecution in Mecca,

00:01:24 --> 00:01:31
			of torture and abuse and harm and sometimes killing and imprisonments.

00:01:33 --> 00:01:43
			Many of the Muslims have now started to migrate towards their new city that had promised to give
them refuge

00:01:46 --> 00:01:46
			and

00:01:48 --> 00:01:49
			most of them migrating.

00:01:51 --> 00:02:17
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was still waiting for the permission to migrate. And when
Abubakar Alia long line wanted to migrate, the prophet SAW Selim said, Wait Abubakar, because maybe
Allah will make for you a companion, your journey. So our worker understood that this might mean
that he will become parent company, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And so from that time,
he started to prepare to camels,

00:02:18 --> 00:02:24
			giving them food, giving them water, because the camel needs time to build up his stores.

00:02:25 --> 00:02:26
			Until that time came,

00:02:28 --> 00:02:42
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam left his house at a time where people don't usually leave
and that was in the mid day, very hot time. And as he came and approached the house of aboubaker,
they were surprised to see that he had come at such a time.

00:02:43 --> 00:02:46
			And they knew that this was a serious matter.

00:02:47 --> 00:03:15
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he told us that he had finally been given the
permission to migrate. So the price of Baba was so happy it was filled of joy. Did I shall Viola
high said I never imagined or believed that anyone would cry our happiness until I saw a worker cry
that day. He was so happy to be the Companion of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam and who would it
be?

00:03:16 --> 00:03:22
			But this news was still to be secret, because in another area of Madhya

00:03:24 --> 00:03:25
			Pradesh

00:03:26 --> 00:03:47
			Quraysh, the leaders of the machete Coronavirus were plotting and they were planning. They saw that
the Muslims are migrating. And they knew that it was very soon that the Prophet would also migrate.
And so they had to do something. And so they met secretly. And they thought about the different
options that they had.

00:03:50 --> 00:03:51
			They thought

00:03:52 --> 00:04:01
			about imprisoning the prophet SAW Salem locking him up so that he would not leave. They pull about
exiling him

00:04:02 --> 00:04:24
			as another option, getting rid of him far away so that he would not have influence. And while they
were giving these suggestions, there was a man there who was refuting these suggestions and saying
these are not not gonna work. Not gonna work. If you imprison him, his words will get to his
followers if you exiled him, his followers will join him soon.

00:04:25 --> 00:04:34
			And that was according to some of the people of this year that was the Shaban who came to try to
seal the very plot that they want you to do, which was to kill the Prophet sallallahu.

00:04:37 --> 00:04:51
			And so they decided the best way to do this, and so the blood of the Prophet would be spilled and it
will be divided amongst all the clans and the tribes. So that Ben will Hashem which was the tribe of
the Prophet would not be able to fight everyone.

00:04:52 --> 00:04:57
			So they chose a man from the different clans and they

00:04:58 --> 00:04:59
			went

00:05:00 --> 00:05:17
			nighttime to surround the house of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam waiting for the time that he leaves
the house as he used to leave a federal to go to the masjid al haram to pray, and that will be the
time that they would execute their evil plot.

00:05:18 --> 00:05:47
			But Allah subhanho wa Taala is the one who plots the best way em Coronavirus por la la la hieromonk
Corinne, and the loss of highlight already informed the Prophet sallallahu Sallam of their plot. And
so the processor was preparing. And he had decided and he knew that he was going to leave and the
plan was already there in place. So he left early, but all the allow and in his bed,

00:05:48 --> 00:06:00
			to ensure that all the Trust's all the matters that have been entrusted to the prophet SAW Selim.

00:06:01 --> 00:06:11
			Because despite Quraysh wanting to kill the Prophet, they still trusted him because he will aside
the calamity and he was the trustworthy he was the honest. So he had to leave it to return all the
trusts.

00:06:13 --> 00:06:15
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:06:17 --> 00:06:18
			with the power of Allah.

00:06:21 --> 00:06:26
			He recited on them verses which made them blind to him, they could not see him

00:06:27 --> 00:06:38
			as the process lm just, he just left the house in front of them and they could not see him. Miracle
of the miracles of Allah subhanho wa Taala given to the Prophet sallallahu sallam,

00:06:39 --> 00:06:51
			and he left and then with Abu Bakar they go and they hurry climbing the mountains to go to the cave
of Seoul

00:06:52 --> 00:07:10
			to hide there, because they knew that if they were trying to just go to Medina straight away, they
will be persecuted. And they will they will be followed. So they wanted to hide there in the cave
for three nights. And indeed they went and double worker.

00:07:11 --> 00:07:18
			That man who cried to be when he heard the news of the company was the best of all companions that
person could have.

00:07:20 --> 00:07:23
			And you can see his love for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:07:25 --> 00:08:07
			Even the prophesized lambs, in one narration his slippers torn, he carried the profits alive. And
before they entered the cave, he said wait, I will enter before you he went before him. He checked
the cave out to make sure there was no animals, no creatures, no snakes or scorpions, and any holes
in the cave, he filled them to make sure that nothing comes out. And then they went into the cave,
to rest there and to find security there and refuge until the time would come. They had already
agreed with Abdullayev no raped who was not Muslim. But he was a trustworthy guide. They had agreed
to meet him later on.

00:08:08 --> 00:08:15
			And in the meantime, more stories of Sacrifice from the family of Abu Bakar will be aligned.

00:08:17 --> 00:08:48
			So while they were hiding in the cave, Abdullah, the son of our worker would bring them news, he
would listen and see what had happened in Mecca, and bring the news to abubaker and the Prophet
sallallahu sallam. And the news was that the Quraysh were frustrated, they're upset, they were mad
that he managed to slip from right between their fingers. And so they put a price of 100 camels on
the head of the Prophet sighs element aboubaker to be brought back dead or alive.

00:08:50 --> 00:08:53
			That was the news. That's how much they meant they had to catch them.

00:08:55 --> 00:09:07
			And in the meantime, asthma, the daughter of worker rhodiola Anna who even though she was pregnant,
she would bring the profits and Abubakar food at a time when nobody was looking.

00:09:09 --> 00:09:22
			Imagine a pregnant woman heavily pregnant and carrying food and climbing up the mountain to get to
the cave. To bring the food to Abubakar under Professor Lawson a great feat of sacrifice.

00:09:24 --> 00:09:50
			And the freed slave or bacharan or we used to have some sheep he used to also bring his sheep to
herd in the area to get rid of all the footprints. And yet coration the mushrikeen having anticipate
is such a great reward. Everybody was on the outlook. And they looked and they searched and they
reached to the mouth of the cave. That's how intense everything was.

00:09:51 --> 00:09:53
			And there abubaker

00:09:54 --> 00:09:59
			frightened for the Prophet sallallahu wasallam because he said almost your life they kill me then
I'm just a man

00:10:00 --> 00:10:16
			That's very humble from him because he wasn't just a man. But if they kill you or monster Allah,
then they would have killed the nation. And that's why he was worried. He said, if they look, if one
of them just looks to their feet, they will see us or messenger of Allah. So the prophet SAW Selim

00:10:17 --> 00:10:52
			said his famous words which the Quran has, has engraved for all history, lambda has an in Allah
hermana Don't worry abubaker because Allah is with us. mamanuca Baba COVID-19 Allah 32 now, what do
you think about to Allah is the third, if Allah is with us, then no harm can come to us is such a
message of of Eman and conviction in Allah. Because no matter who plots against you, no matter what
power they have, what weapons they have, what armor what

00:10:54 --> 00:10:59
			number they have, they cannot harm you for loss. pantalla does not want you to be harmed.

00:11:00 --> 00:11:02
			And so for three days, they were in that case,

00:11:04 --> 00:11:10
			waiting until the machine felt that that's it, there's not going to be there. Let's just go and look
for them now outside.

00:11:12 --> 00:11:25
			And Abdulahi direct outcome comes with the two camels. And they go now to go in their journey. But
they didn't go north, they didn't head north towards Medina, they headed south, again to show to

00:11:27 --> 00:11:37
			to deceive the machine who obviously for the obvious journey path would be north. So they went ahead
itself to take them off their tracks.

00:11:38 --> 00:11:42
			And then to go around and then to to loop back up.

00:11:43 --> 00:11:45
			And go live no raikot

00:11:46 --> 00:11:54
			he was a good guide. And as trustworthy, as I mentioned, showing that there were people even though
he was no Muslim,

00:11:55 --> 00:12:05
			and even though he could have betrayed them easily. But there were people at that time who were
genuine. There are people who had morals, they had ethics.

00:12:06 --> 00:12:16
			And that's also a lesson for us is to not lose hope in people, and not to lose our trust in those
who are around us.

00:12:19 --> 00:12:32
			Now, Rajesh, had spread the news, and the money and reward money was there. So people started to
look and different people from different tribes now we're on the look as well.

00:12:33 --> 00:12:37
			And amongst them or somebody called Soraka, Soraka bumalik.

00:12:38 --> 00:12:44
			Who was also keen to get that money. When one when they were sitting in one of their

00:12:46 --> 00:12:55
			meetings, a man came and said, I saw two people cross near the coast, it must be those two men who
are looking for.

00:12:56 --> 00:13:08
			So sauraha, who was clear he wanted the money, he wanted to get himself. He said no, no, they could
accompany them. Those are two different people. I just set them off there, because he wanted there
was for himself.

00:13:10 --> 00:13:13
			And then after a while he left and go on his horse,

00:13:14 --> 00:13:17
			and the prophet and Abubakar mobiola.

00:13:18 --> 00:13:24
			Were on camels. And he wanted to catch and took his spear and he wanted to catch he wanted that
reward.

00:13:25 --> 00:13:30
			And he in fact, he did catch up with the Prophet slicin and Abu Bakar. And he said,

00:13:31 --> 00:13:56
			as he wanted because he wasn't sure about this, he got his he had like some sticks, almost like
soothsaying sticks to tell the future. So he took these sticks to say, should I proceed or not? When
he when he chose the straw. The straw was saying to him, don't proceed to go back. But he said, No,
I didn't accept that. So I carried on going.

00:13:58 --> 00:14:07
			And then he came closer as he came close, the prophet SAW Selim was aware of him. But he was just
looking forward focusing for that all he did was lift his hands off and go out.

00:14:09 --> 00:14:12
			And the horse of Soraka just sank into the sand.

00:14:13 --> 00:14:27
			And solarpower shocked he knew something was not right. So he got off his horse got his organs in
the sticks again, it said no, don't follow. But then he said no, I have to. And he kept on following
until this happened a couple of times. He knew that there was something quite so he said he called
out.

00:14:29 --> 00:14:32
			Give me Leave me in peace. I know that you are.

00:14:33 --> 00:14:38
			You're invoking a law against me to just let me go on peace. I don't want anything bad to happen to
me.

00:14:40 --> 00:14:48
			So the prophet SAW Salem he gave him his security said don't worry, we'll leave you alone. We're not
going to invoke or nothing's going to happen to you but on condition

00:14:49 --> 00:14:54
			that anybody you meet behind you, don't tell us that you met us and just push them away.

00:14:55 --> 00:14:57
			And also in one tradition.

00:14:58 --> 00:14:59
			He wanted that security

00:15:00 --> 00:15:14
			written. And so indeed the processor lamb wrote to him. And also he said to him, what if you Soraka,
one day you will be given the bracelets of kisara. To where

00:15:16 --> 00:15:29
			he said, This man is joking. I mean we are he's running away, he has nothing and he is promising me
to wear the gold bracelets of kisaan. But nonetheless, he accepted this, this paper of oath, and he
went away.

00:15:31 --> 00:15:35
			And the prophet SAW Selim carried on in the journey, and they pass by

00:15:36 --> 00:16:03
			a attend attendance of a famous couple, a couple of both, of whom may about an hour, but there were
a couple who were stationed, if you like in the desert, it's almost like a service station in the
motorway, helping people on the way. They used to give people maybe give them something to drink, or
whatever. And that time, they didn't have anything to give the milk from the US were dry.

00:16:04 --> 00:16:40
			The prophet SAW Selim approached them. And he said, Do you have anything they said, No, we don't
have the milk or they're the sheep are there. So the professor approached them and he stroked the
others, and lots of milk came out. Another miracle of the prophets, Allah lies and they dry and can
they filled, and they even melt the use even further and left lots of milk bath ablenet bed was not
there. At the time, when he came back, he saw there was so much milk. And they knew that this was
the man that feroce were looking for.

00:16:42 --> 00:17:09
			But when when he described the profit to him, she described him in such an eloquent way even today
in her teeth. There is a whole Hadith which is dedicated to the beautiful description how she she
eloquently described, the prophet SAW Selim in terms of his stature, in terms of his, his
description, and how we met, but then wrote a poetry about this, which very soon reached courage,
and courage knew that they were on the right track that Mohammed Abu Bakr had almost reached their
safety.

00:17:11 --> 00:17:16
			And such was an intense journey. Whenever they would pass by,

00:17:17 --> 00:17:19
			they would ask Who are you?

00:17:20 --> 00:17:30
			And the prophet SAW Salem, even keen not to lie, but also not to give away his, his, his

00:17:31 --> 00:17:40
			person who he was, he would use something called toda just like to hide away his reality. So one
occasion people said to them, who are you? Where are you from?

00:17:41 --> 00:17:42
			So he said,

00:17:43 --> 00:18:11
			We are from nanometer map, we are from water. And that was understood by them to mean that they were
from the water of Iraq, that means that they thought they were coming from Iraq. That's how he gave
them that kind of indication. But the process obviously meant we are from water means that we are
created from water. And on another occasion, when somebody also called them up and asked them and
they knew aboubaker they said, Java who is that with you?

00:18:12 --> 00:18:18
			He said, This is my guide, had the genie is my guide. He's showing me the way again,

00:18:19 --> 00:18:24
			a clear truth, but disguised in a way to give a different meaning.

00:18:25 --> 00:18:43
			And such was that journey that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam took, it was a journey, as
you have noted, and it's been, you know, just a few minutes to summarize Geneva Actually, it's a
whole, a whole few lectures to understand this full journey of the Prophet sallallahu sallam.

00:18:44 --> 00:18:52
			But you can see in this story, the message of conviction, Eman in Allah Subhana.

00:18:54 --> 00:19:02
			Allah previously a few years earlier, had taken the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has sent
gibreel

00:19:03 --> 00:19:11
			with the flying horse almora and had taken the prophesizing from Mecca to

00:19:12 --> 00:19:14
			Elko dos to Elon Musk to the luck saw

00:19:16 --> 00:19:39
			by this horse and he ascended him through the seven heavens. If Allah wanted you could have done the
same to the processor just picked him up and put him in Medina that would have been there. But there
was a lesson to show us an important lesson of sacrifice of determination and belief in Allah
subhanho wa Taala.

00:19:41 --> 00:19:44
			You can see the lesson of

00:19:46 --> 00:19:54
			work and attempt and efforts because nothing comes easy. There has to be preparation, preparation in
terms of

00:19:55 --> 00:19:59
			preparation for the journey morally

00:20:00 --> 00:20:09
			Spiritually, psychologically, physically has to be that preparation and material. And such in our
life, we want to achieve anything.

00:20:10 --> 00:20:16
			We have to prepare, and we have to get ready. We can't expect things to happen just like this.

00:20:17 --> 00:20:44
			And this is one of the things related to that as well. Because today, some people just make drive
they think drive is a one way per one way street. I just make dua and that's it. I've done my bit so
to speak, and our last pantalla should answer my God. But that is not just intended to be like that
is if you like, is a declaration of your goal, what you want to achieve.

00:20:45 --> 00:20:52
			So when you make it is saying, This is what I want to achieve. So where is the action? That is the
is that dog?

00:20:54 --> 00:21:05
			If you say I want the agenda, Allah give me agenda. Where are the actions that will lead to Agenda
What are you doing? To ask Allah for

00:21:06 --> 00:21:23
			money, and wealth? What are you doing to attain money and wealth? If you're asking Allah for a good
wife? Why are you doing Not going to happen? Things are not just going to come to you like this. And
such is a lesson we learn here from preparation. We see the lesson of sacrifice as well.

00:21:24 --> 00:21:27
			Abubakar robiola, and he sacrificed what he can

00:21:29 --> 00:21:47
			his camels even though the processor lamb refused to take his camel, he said, I'm going to pay you
for that camel that you're going to provide. But abubaker sacrificed, he left his family behind and
he took with him 5000 Durham's he didn't leave any money to his family as well.

00:21:48 --> 00:21:52
			Great sacrifice and that's why when the prophet SAW Selim was on his deathbed

00:21:54 --> 00:22:00
			on his last days, he said in many, many nasty aleja female he won FC Abubakar

00:22:02 --> 00:22:28
			The one who can show his favor on to me in his self and his money, the only one who can do that is
our back. And that's why he said all the the entrances to the masjid which were people had entrances
to the masjid from their own houses, almost like a small alleyway. And they entered intimacy said
all of them should be closed, except the door of Abu Bakr should be left open.

00:22:31 --> 00:22:33
			And so it was acknowledged.

00:22:34 --> 00:22:38
			You can see the lesson of love of how our worker

00:22:39 --> 00:22:44
			was so happy and so glad to be with the Prophet slicin but love that led to sacrifices.

00:22:46 --> 00:22:59
			Today a lot of people you know the senate they send the hearts love house going about love flowers
to show love. But love isn't just it's not an icon. It's not an emoji. It's not a word love is
action.

00:23:01 --> 00:23:20
			Taslima Ella have wanted to die Hoopa you are this obey Allah was you claim to love Allah. That's
such a such a despised claim. How can you love Allah and claim to love Allah and love the messenger?
So I said him yet you go against them. But the lovable bunker was the true love.

00:23:22 --> 00:23:25
			To the extent that when fast forward

00:23:27 --> 00:23:29
			to when the prophet SAW Selim returns back to Mecca.

00:23:31 --> 00:23:40
			And to that time, his father, the father or bucket had not become Muslim. But on the conquest of
Mecca, his father became Muslim and entered into Islam and he was an old man.

00:23:42 --> 00:23:45
			Abubakar brings his father to the Prophet sighs.

00:23:46 --> 00:24:00
			But an old man even his hair was so white in the process that why is he Why did you bring this old
man? I should have gone to him. He said no, he should come to your Mashallah. So when he took the
Shahada, the father of Abu Bakr cried

00:24:02 --> 00:24:08
			and the prophet SAW said, Why are you crying over a great day You should be happy. Your father has
become Muslim.

00:24:11 --> 00:24:23
			And the worker said, I would have wished that a violin became Muslim. That would have been more
happy for me to see your uncle become Muslim than my father. That's how he loves the Prophet
sallallahu Island's

00:24:24 --> 00:24:38
			he wanted the prophet to be happy to see his uncle a pilot, who again sacrificed the law for Islam
but never became a Muslim. He wanted him to become a Muslim rather than his own father. This is the
love that that people had for the Prophet sallallahu mining's

00:24:41 --> 00:24:44
			and truly it is also about hope.

00:24:46 --> 00:24:59
			Cuz even though they were being persecuted and they were being followed, and they were being chased,
the prophet sizer lamb knew that Allah will establish this Deen and so he gave that promise.

00:25:00 --> 00:25:00
			Soraka

00:25:02 --> 00:25:17
			and fast forward to the time of Omar of the Allah. And when he defeated kisara, the Persian king,
and he destroyed his empire and the treasures of Israel abroad or Omar, he said Where is Soraka

00:25:19 --> 00:25:23
			and they brought the rock I said, these are the bracelets that the prophet SAW Elias and then
promised you

00:25:25 --> 00:25:28
			to wear them. And so he wore the bracelets

00:25:29 --> 00:25:33
			after he wore them, he said, Give them back because they're just for you to wear not to keep.

00:25:34 --> 00:25:46
			But it showed that promise in our last panel and to believe in our law. That's how you establish
things. And that's having that hope and having that conviction.

00:25:47 --> 00:26:11
			And that can only happen if your Eman is you know loggerheads and that goes with everything in your
life whether it's a small things, whether or is the big things whether you're hoping and Allah
subhanaw taala to make you amongst those people have agenda because Allah subhanho wa Taala says
entering the Vanya app dB. I will be as my slave suspects of me. A follow Kali has ever stopped
following you will come first off

00:26:13 --> 00:26:17
			please make room for your brothers close the gap so that people standing outside

00:26:33 --> 00:26:45
			hamdu Lillah wa salatu salam ala rasulillah while he was so happy, I bought a lot of la cena vokalia
Johan de la De La Hoya

00:26:48 --> 00:26:51
			watamu Ma, non law

00:26:57 --> 00:27:03
			and the Prophet sallallahu Sallam after a long journey after a big adventure

00:27:05 --> 00:27:05
			and

00:27:06 --> 00:27:07
			a thriller

00:27:08 --> 00:27:12
			of a journey being chased, hiding away,

00:27:14 --> 00:27:15
			nearly being killed.

00:27:17 --> 00:27:19
			He reaches at Medina.

00:27:20 --> 00:27:28
			And as he enters as he appears over the horizon, he's seen

00:27:29 --> 00:27:37
			and he's seen not by the Muslims initially, he was seen by a Jewish man who knew that the Muslims
are expecting

00:27:39 --> 00:27:46
			this man to come and so the Jewish mind goes oh Arabs of Medina here is the man you are waiting for
he shouts

00:27:48 --> 00:27:58
			It seems that he's more delighted than they are. But indeed they were delighted. And the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam enters Medina and when he entered Medina,

00:27:59 --> 00:28:14
			Medina which was once your three became al Madina, munawwara the illuminated city because it was
illuminated with the Prophet sallallahu it was the Prophet entered the Medina and he illuminated it

00:28:15 --> 00:28:25
			with his existence with his presence, with his son now with his life with his words, with the power
that he brought to Medina

00:28:26 --> 00:28:32
			and then became a whole different set of tasks people came up

00:28:33 --> 00:28:35
			to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:28:37 --> 00:29:27
			initiative Initially, the prophet SAW Selim stayed silent. He was probably reflecting on this great
achievement that he had just done in establishing Islam after years of persecution, just to
establish the word of La ilaha illAllah Muhammad Rasul Allah. So people started to greet Abubakar,
they thought for a moment that Abu Bakar was the Prophet, because the Prophet just sat on the side
he was silent, but then they realized it was who was the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And
they started to rejoice, and to sing, and to be happy for that day, that Allah subhanho wa Taala
gave victory to Islam. Such a great day. Such a great memory, an important story, to be learned and

00:29:27 --> 00:29:56
			lessons to be derived. And I've just touched on some of the lessons. There's so much more tempo for
us to learn these stories to teach our children these stories and to learn that through patience and
dedication and sacrifice, so much can be achieved. But that wasn't the ends entering Medina didn't
wasn't the end of the story. As you all know, there was still lots of struggle, there's lots of
strife. There's a lot of difficulties as well hardships, people had left their land, they had left
their money they had left their family

00:29:58 --> 00:30:00
			and they were still allowed to

00:30:00 --> 00:30:02
			Have trials and tribulations ahead of them.

00:30:04 --> 00:30:09
			And why we mark this day as we enter a new digital year.

00:30:10 --> 00:30:36
			It's important for us also to take those lessons and make them a reality in our life. And to hope
that this next year in sha Allah will be a time for us to achieve our goals or dreams to put forward
the plan for this coming year. So that you shall what Allah we can translate those meanings of hope,
love sacrifice conviction in our lives, we can achieve so much more, along with America.
