Omer El-Hamdoon – Hadith – Actions are but by Intentions

			hamdu lillah wa salatu salam ala Rasulillah. The Hadith that we are going to briefly explain today
is the Hadith which is very famous and is for considered one of the fundamentals of Islam. That
hadith is the saying of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Indeed, surely actions are, but by
intentions, and every person shall only have that which he intended. So whom ever migration or
whosoever migration is for Allah and His Messenger, then his migration is for Allah and His
messenger. And whoever's migration is for a dunya an act of dunya material gain that they seek to
gain or to marry a woman, then their migration is that for which they have migrated to this hadith
		

			is very basic is very simple, as is the words of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam. They are there to
be understood in simple matters, but Subhanallah they have so many meanings and so many
applications, but basically what the hadith is telling us is, that intention is important in our
actions, because actions will be awarded will be rewarded, and sometimes the reward will be lost
because of the intention. If your intention is good. If your intention is, is big, you're going to
get according to that. If your intention is bad, or you don't have a good intention, you're not
going to be awarded correctly. So this hadith is saying reminds us that it's important to have
		

			actions to make the actions pure and sincere to Allah if we want that reward. And to make sure that
we are thinking about our intentions on a daily basis for everything that we do, even if it's things
like eating, drinking, sleeping, our day to day actions, having that intention will mean that we
will insha Allah be able to get that reward from Allah. Take care snowing
