Rahim al hamdu Lillah wa salatu salam ala rasulillah.
The third reason why we should not judge others is because we don't know the reality of what's inside their hearts. We don't know how
they behaved or how they were thinking, what was the reason behind it? But not only that, they might have done a bad deed. And they were, they did it for a bad reason. So there's no, you know, there's no qualms about that. But how is the state of their heart? That is what we don't know. Again, something that only Allah subhanaw taala knows, because the prophet SAW Selim said that taqwa hoonah, turquoise here, turquoise here, he pointed to his heart soul ally. So I'm showing that this essential part of where you can judge the reality of people is somewhere where you can't see it, you don't know. And therefore we're saying that somebody is heart and their state of heart is not known
to you. This is different from a different point that we will talk about, which is that their intention might be hidden to us. But here we're talking about their heart. And again, there is a two ahaadeeth I want to share with you. The first one is with regards to a story narrated by Imam Bukhari.
And this was about a man a young man his name was Abdullah but they used to nickname him him out, which is donkey. Now I know sometimes people say this quite a bit harsh to call somebody donkey by actually in that time, him are even now the same, Mr. But it's just the usage of the word was that hemara donkey was actually a positive
nickname because a donkey is some is an animal which is persistent, it's stubborn, stubborn in achieving, you know, he's got his carries on, you know, donkey could work for many hours and carry on working. And people carry and use the donkey for loads and so on. So positive thing, much, much like the word dog actually it in havior, we use the word cane, and there is an insult. But you know, a dog has so many qualities, good qualities. Maybe the top of those qualities that the dog is, is loyal. And in fact, any one of the Imams even put a book together compiled a book,
giving 30 or so reasons why, you know the positivity of how the dog has been misjudged or mistreated.
I digress. Going back to the Hades, this man his name is Abdullah. He used to be someone who used to joke a lot. And he used to make the Prophet slicin and laugh. And at the same time, used to give the process and gifts and so on. But he also used to drink alcohol used to drink wine. And he used to drink wine and he would be brought to the profit slice of them and the prophets I send them would instruct
the people around him to punish him for this and that was to be lashed. And then he would go away, then he'd come back again having drunk why. And again, he'd have to be punished for that. On one occasion, a man said
Lana, hula, Max amo Toby. May Allah curse him how many times this guy always being bought for the same crime?
So the prophet SAW Salem commented he said, the law
firm I live to learn no you
do not curse him. Because what I know of him is that he loves Allah and His messenger. So he's hiding and raising my arm Buhari
has a longer version in other narrations. But you can see that this person although he was doing some bad sins, his core his heart was good. He loved the law. He loved the messenger sizer. Obviously we can't use that as an excuse for doing bad sins. And that's not what we're saying here.
Because a bad sin is about sin, but always saying is that for you to judge this person based on the sin and you don't even know where his heart is, he might be somebody who is righteous in the sense that he's close to Allah and he has, he falls into sins, but he repents he falls into sins and he repents and the second story
related to a woman, a famous in the Hadith compilers as elevar media, the woman from a hermit and she was a woman who committed
adultery as she came to the Prophet sighs and of seeking repentance and seeking for Atonement of her sin. And
to cut a long story short, the processor lamb instructed her to do things and to go away and then come back and so on. But when somebody locked her and despised her, the prophets I said it
prohibited that person and admonished him. And he said, by our law, she has repented a repentance. If it was divided over 70 people from the people of Medina, it will be accepted from them. See how great repentance she repented. So it shows you that she committed a sin, but her heart was good. She turned back to our last pattern. She was repenting. She felt the mistake. And so our last pantalla forgiven her and not only forgiven her, but she's in a high quality of forgiveness because she has her repentance is so high and so except there's a similar oration about another person who also committed adultery, this time as a man. And he repented. And the professor also commented, a similar
comment. these are these are sound honeys. Now, the point being is the Prophet knew what there was in their hearts because Allah had informed him he had the revelation we didn't know we don't know what there's in their hearts. And so you might judge somebody, you might condemn somebody, you might think ill of somebody for a sin that they are doing, but you don't know what's inside their house. Their house might be clean, they might be pure, they might be loving a loss of Hannah
