Omer El-Hamdoon – Definition of Miskeen (needy)

			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in a hadith he mentioned a definition for me Skene a one who
is needy, we know that Allah Subhana Allah defined in the Quran that there are four Ara, and there

fine line between the definition of what is apparent and miskeen which I won't go into in this

			you know, needy is not someone that goes and is satisfied or is returned, or he's given one day two

			rather and miskeen is the one who feels
		

			shame or shy or bashfulness from asking, so he doesn't ask. He can't find, you know, something, too.
He doesn't have enough money to enrich himself. So he's living on a poverty line. But at the same
time, if you if you if what the process I'm saying is like, one aspect of a Miskin one aspect of a
poor person is a person who you might think that he's okay with, He's not asking, begging, the
reality is, he is too shy. Or he doesn't feel that he wants to go and ask people He doesn't ask
people he doesn't certainly doesn't insist or persist on asking them. And he seeks to be, you know,
he's satisfied with what he has. So you might see him and you say, Well, this guy is okay. He's got
		

			maybe he's, you know, certain things.
		

			He's not begging, He's not asking you. So he's not Miskin. So the process of saying beware that
don't think that just because somebody isn't asking that he's okay. So look out for those people.
It's almost like a community awareness. Look out for those people who, from their dignity from their
honor, and also from the link to Allah subhanaw taala that, you know, they feel that they're not
going to go and ask people for sadaqa for charity.
		

			They're just, they're just happy they're satisfied with what they have. And so don't think that they
don't deserve your charity or do your help look out for these people because they couldn't be there
in the community, and they need your support. Allow them side
