			remember last week we're talking about one of the signs of the Day of Judgment is the loss of
honesty is the loss of honesty, and how there will come a time excuse, okay?
		

			There will come a time that people will not trust one another. And people will make vows with one
another, but they will not come through in those vows. People will make promises with one another,
but they will not fulfill those promises. And eventually, when you have a society where people are
mistreating each other people are lying to each other, even the ones who are saying the truth, even
the ones who are saying the truth, eventually there is no that people don't trust even them anymore.
I remember I had a brother who came to me he said to me, that there is a brother who is telling me
that I'm making a promise to you and I swear upon the Quran, and he says that because there is so
		

			much lying in our society, I don't know who to trust anymore. I want to trust his brother, or I may
want to trust his sister. But because there's so much treachery and cheating in the community or in
the society at large. I don't know who to trust. And so this is the biggest flaws, or this is what
happens in a community. When few people they begin to lie that even those who are considered as
trustworthy, no one begins to no one wants to believe in them. Brothers and sisters, even when it
comes to our own children, we have to be very open and honest with our own children too. If I make a
promise with my own children that I need to come through in that promise, too. I remember Imam
		

			Bukhari I was reading about this Imam Muhammad Allah Allah He had a very strict rule when it came to
accepting a hadith, because if you look at the conditions that Imam Buhari had in place, the
conditions Imam Muslim had in place to accept a hadith in their famous collection. There were very
strong criterias and very strict rules. Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah LA, he traveled throughout many
places, just for one Hadith, he went one place the two and in search of a hadith. And you have to
understand that it was not like okay, they went to one person, and they will just take a hadith.
Well, what they will do is, they would go to one person, find out the entire Senate, the entire
		

			chain of narrators. And if they could, they would go and visit every single person who was in that
chain of narrators. It just so happened that Imam Muhammad, Allah, Allah he came across a man who
was considered as a narrator in the chain of narrators. And he saw that he was telling his animal I
think about this, this is the criteria that human body has with his own book, he saw that this man
he was calling his own animal, and he would you know, he took food, and he will do this to his own
animal. And as soon as the animal came close, he put away the food he got hold the animal and he

family members. We make promises
		

			To our relatives, we made promises to our own community members, because we don't want to hurt
someone else. But I honestly tell you, you rather not make a promise if you feel like you cannot
fulfill a promise. Do not even make the promise from before. Because it is more hurtful when you
make a promise, and you don't come through, you don't come through. So that's why this isn't one of
the most important things. And if we do is, if we do this, if we are honest, our kids will be
honest, if we are dishonest, our kids will be dishonest. I remember a long time ago, you know
nowadays we have cell phones, we don't have many ain't very few of us, we have those home phones.
		

			But there were times like when people would call and children will see their own parents that
they're the people are calling and say is such and such person of the house available. And the
father is answering the phone, the mother's answering the phone, the father is sitting over there.
And she say that the Father is not here. The kids see that. Even though you might tell your kids
that I said this for this reason. But that this honesty even in that die is something that the
children they see. So this is something that we need to understand that honesty does not only mean
that I'm talking to someone or I make promises, honesty has to be across the board. Now, some of the
		

			other signs of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he has talked about, which is the next one is
imitating others. Now the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we see this in the Quran being talked
about. We see this in the hadith of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam. There's a hadith narrated
by a Buddha or the ALLAH and he says that the Prophet alayhi salam said, the Hour will not begin

that, but people believe and worship Him as God to nowadays. So what Islam is teaching us is that
there are some certain things that you will learn throughout their traditions, how the compromise in
their religion, how they began to do things, and they felt inferior of what they had. And they began
to accept other people's cultures and identities, and they would manipulate their own identities.
Now brothers and sisters, when it comes to our own Deen, there are some certain things that we have
in terms of our pay that we believe in those things. There is no compromise there. However, there
		

			are some certain things especially living in this country, we have to understand that these other
influences are slowly and gradually penetrating our own deen and our own lives here. For example,
let's take one example that did not happen so long ago. We are in February, and December we're
talking about Christmas. The Christmas is everywhere around us. Outside you go to Walmart, you see
trees everywhere you see Christmas decorations. Everywhere you go. You see this? How many of our
Muslim brothers and sisters in the season of Christmas as it was taking place? We're celebrating
Christmas. Believe it or not. You may believe that how many I mean, do Muslims really do celebrate
		

			Christmas? The answer is that there are many Muslims. There are many Muslims who are now starting to
believe that this is this even though yes, they believe

			Now I asked you, if today we are allowing our own kids trick or treating, let's go outside, let's go
have fun. It's only candy, you know, if it's only candy, go buy them candy if you want to, but do
not let them engage in this kind of activities. Because today they are. They're going on they're
going door to door. They're knocking on doors they want they're asking for candy today is this
tomorrow is going to be a thought that I should buy a costume. The year after that is going to be a
costume. And then this is a snowball that never ends is going to get bigger and bigger. And
eventually we're going to lose our deen if we don't hold on to our deen. So that's why, excuse me
		

			this is why it's very very important that when it comes to our matters of our deen, we have to be
very strict about them. We have to stick to what our deen teaches us. And we should never imitate.

sudden death. Now what this means is that long time ago, for example,
		

			whether it's sudden death or how some other man they have explained it that a person is healthy one

many cases have we heard? One person is one person is absolutely fine. They're moving about. They're
feeling, you know, a little pain in their stomach, they get taken to the hospital, they have cancer.
How many stories that we heard like this, so many stories, how many stories that we heard a person
was traveling on the road accident, one accident, you know, finish there, they've had to wait, we
are hearing so many of these kinds of cases, this is actually a sign are told to us by Rasulullah
		

			sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Now, one thing is that we should not we should not consider it. A
		

			we should not consider sudden death as a misfortune. Like if we hear a case where a youngster or a
man was driving or sister was driving, all of a sudden they got hit. Someone came in hit them we
should not view that as a misfortune. Because in that situation, they're considered as a shaheed.
Now, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam himself, he would ask refuge from a sudden death and
the reason why the prophets had some he was seek refuge from a sudden death is because he would
prefer that he wouldn't get sick. And then later on, he would die. Because during that sickness,
he's able to repent to Allah subhanho wa Taala and do as much as he can in the last days that will
		

			benefit him in the Quran. But once
		

			Again, we should not think it as a misfortune if anyone passes away in a certain way. The next one
that has been told to us by Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is that there will be a discord
amongst the Muslims. If you remember, there was once the Prophet sallallahu ala he was somebody he
was making dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala he made three do is to Allah subhanho wa Taala were the

UN, that's what the UN does. People are sitting around a big table, they're planning and plotting
		

			against the Muslims what Allahu Allah, whatever it means. It simply means that just like long time
ago, the only time people would call big numbers, or people will invite a lot of people in big
numbers, is when people we're inviting people for food. But the probability is someone's telling us
that a time will come that people will call others in such big numbers, and they'll get together as
if it seems like they're getting together for food, but they will plot and plan against a Muslim and
Subhanallah we see this happening behind closed doors, it is happening. And this is why we always
ask ALLAH SubhanA wa Taala for protection. And we always remind ourselves that no matter how much
		

			people plan against the Muslims, won't matter to America, Allah will allow Home Marketing, they
plan. Allah also plans that ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada is the best of planners. And so we keep this in
mind. The next thing that we see happening in our society, unfortunately, and which is
		

			also a sign of the Day of Judgment. The Prophet alayhi wa sallam said that you will not enter into
paradise
		

			till you believe
		

			until you believe and you will not believe until you love one another. Oh Allah de la Comala che in

seen people for so many years coming to the same budget. I don't even know their names. And this is

feel bad about that too. And so the thing is that when you say the life of the prophet sallallahu

wa sallam teaches us that he would go to the children and he would make some to them to say if you
		

			go for example, if you are meeting with someone, an adult, and there's a child that he has a child,
then make slam to that child to when our children, if if all the adults, if all the adults are
making slam to one another, you know who's going to learn and pick up this good, great habit, our
young children are going to pick up this great habit, when they get old. When they grow up, when
they grow up, and they become adults and they become parents, they will they will, they will be able
to inculcate this behavior, and they will be able to teach their children but if we don't mix them
to one another, our children are gonna learn from us, eventually they won't spread some to others
		

			either. So this is something that we see also from the Prophet sallallahu it was starting today in
sha Allah, anyone we don't know we still makes them to them. And so we're going to start right here.
