So Yahya ibn Khalid Abarmakih

and his family

they

exercised

authority at the time of Harun al Rashid.

They were in the highest positions in the

country. They were ministers, educators, and so on

and so forth. And for some reason,

Harun al Rashid got mad at them and

he threw them in jail.

So his son was telling him, father,

and and all that stuff. Now we are

in prison. What happened?

So his father told him, son, listen.

Maybe we did someone wrong

when we're we were empowered,

and he prayed, he made du'aqa Allah

against us. So we didn't we didn't know

about the prayer, but Allah

was not asleep.

Allah's doors are always open. Allah

So don't be unjust to the people. If

you are in authority,

if you are in a position,

don't abuse the people because if you are

powerful,

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is more powerful than

you are.

Allah is more powerful than you are.

So there are 2 types of injustice.

Some people are unjust to themselves by doing

the Haram.

They deprive themselves of the reward of the

good deed.

They don't pray. They don't fast.

They don't give me charity. They don't give

zakat. So they deprive

themselves of the reward.

Also, some people, they are unjust to themselves.

They have a good relationship with Allah

They are the best when it comes to

salah.

They make it to the Jairus book of

records when it comes to the salah.

They are the best when it comes to

fasting

and Hajj and so on and so forth.

But when it comes to their relationship with

the people,

they are in the basement, the basement of

the basement.

And the prophet says in the Hadith, we

mentioned several days ago about the the broke,

the people who are broke. They will come

on the day of judgement with prayers, fasting,

charity, Hajj, everything,

But they lose their word because they stole

from this, they insulted this, they killed this,

they did this and this. They lose their

word.

So these are the people who are unjust

to themselves.

So someone can be unjust to others

by forcing harm on them or depriving them

from good.

Tama'

stealing from them, cussing at them, backbiting them.

So this is being unjust to people.

And it's even worse if you are in

a position of authority like some leaders, they

abuse people and they abuse authority.

On the day of judgment they will come

and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will ask them,

someone

was thrown in jail for nothing. What did

you do about it?

Someone died in the hospital because he had

no one to give him medical attention.

Why?

Someone lost his money

because he had no one to defend him.

Why?

So everyone, a big question about this on

the day of judgment. Wakabaqal and Nabi Musa

Salaam, kayna Hazaflunu Hasratan Warazam. Leadership,

So Al Jahid was walking one day in

the market, so he heard this teacher

teaching this guy in a wrong way. He

is confusing 3 surahs at the same time.

So Jadha said, what's wrong with you? Why

are you confusing the surahs? You are teaching

him wrong. He said his father

is not paying me any money. He says,

I will pay you, but he doesn't pay

me anything. So I'm not teaching him anything.

I'm not taking anything from his father. Okay.

We'll go we'll keep it that way. So

he is unjust to the boy and he

is unjust to himself.

A question for last night, if someone forgot

to recite a short surah after Fatiha in

the salah in the second or first rakah,

they don't have to make sujood as salfa

at the end. Fatiha is an obligation in

the salah, but the short surah after is

not. So if you forget it, you don't

have to make sujoodi saba at the end.
