Musleh Khan – Spiritual Growth #6 Why We Need The Day Of Judgment

			Salam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh hamdu Lillah wa Salatu was Salam ala rasulillah Allah He of
total sada woman wider. So today, brothers and sisters, it's about the Day of Judgment. And it's not
going to be what you think I'm not going to sit here and quote a bunch of a wet and heavy and talk
to you about that this day will come. And this is going to be a day of reckoning, and we will all be
gathered and that sort of thing. I just want to focus on one aspect about the day of judgment that I
think is important, all human beings since the beginning of time until that day comes. And that is
the day of judgment and what it means to you and I, that it is the day of justice, where we can
		

			finally gain justice for all of the in justices that we've struggled with and suffered since the
beginning of time. There are two categories of people that will come on to Day of Judgment. One of
them is a volley moon, the second of solly hoon, what am a volley morning as for those who are
amongst the volume, moon, those who have done wrong, those who have transgressed those who were fall
not only into the disobedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala. But those who have caused injustices
amongst people, every single one of us have a story of how people have done us wrong. I have many
stories, I'm sure all of you listening to this, you have many stories of people that have said
		

			things that have misrepresented you that have talked about you, that have done things to you, that
have caused pain and hardship and struggle in your life. And here's the here's the worst part of all
of that, they actually got away with it, or at least that's how it feels like nobody brought them to
account for what they've said or done. And they just continued their life. They continue to smile,
laugh and enjoy their time, not realizing how much pain and struggle that they have caused for you.
And here's the thing, if you dig deeper, deep down inside, in the hearts of those individuals, they
know exactly what they've done to you. They know exactly that they may have lied, cheated you
		

			they've become dishonest, they've put you in a predicament or a situation where you were literally
stuck, you there was no way out. And so you had to suffer tremendously as a result, and they got off
scot free, and you're still struggling with all of the pain and the memories and the experience till
this day. That's why we want and we need the Day of Judgment. I'll give you an example. If you think
about leadership across the globe, if you think about think of a particular name of a leader, and
some of the injustices that that particular leader had caused on, on his or her people, and millions
of people die, millions of people suffer, millions of people go through struggle and pain after
		

			pain. Yet that leader, whoever he or she may be, sits on a high throne in a beautiful home with all
the luxuries of the world. Yet you're barely able to survive with basic necessities in your life.
And you live and you struggle this way. You do your very best to try to gain or at least build a
normal, somewhat normal life for yourself, for your family. But it just doesn't happen. You really
go through a tough time in your entire life. And then you leave this world. It's not the way it's
supposed to be. And so the Day of Judgment, one of the things that were taught is as for those who
are evolving, and the Muslim and the ones who are subject to that kind of treatment, on the day of
		

			judgment, Allah subhanho wa Taala will bring all of these individuals together, every single human
being that ever touched the ground. And everything that was said and done is all brought forth. And
it's finally a moment where the innocent can gain justice. They can feel a sense of reward, they can
finally feel a sense of accountability. Because on that day, Allah subhanho wa Taala says he will
never ever be unjust to any individual in terms of their accountability. So every word that was
said, and every action that was committed on that day is brought forth. So think about and I'm sure
again, all of you have stories like this. And if you really pause for a moment and you think deeply
		

			about some of the experiences that you've gone through in life, it will probably bring back a lot of
pain and a lot of you know sadness, and I'm sure you don't want to go there and maybe you've put
those stories behind you. But on the Day of Judgment, at least in this in your shoes, you could feel
a sense of relief.
		

			That there will come a time nobody on planet Earth has ever since the beginning of time has ever
caused in justices or pain to others and got away with it, it's never happened. And it would be
totally unfair for Allah subhanho wa Taala to allow that to continue. It's unfair because a lot. So
a Joe one of his names is he is allegedly, he is the source of justice. So it would be unfair for
Allah to design and create a world and allow creatures like you and I creation like this to live and
be unjust and unfair to each other and just get away with it. Because it would literally go against
one of his actual names and attributes. And so on that day, Allah promises us in the quarter end,
		

			that he will bring justice to every single human being. So as for the volley moon, you think about
all of the little things as well. Like if you go on social media, and you see all of the awful
comments that said about you as whether it be a Muslim, or is a minority, the racism, the amount of
hate, people really take this stuff for granted. And they think it's just petty and nobody is gonna
care, they can just type whatever they want. Type the most hurtful statements, the most hurtful
words, insult you put you down, put that for the entire world to see. And then when all is said and
done, just walk away and do it again the next day, the next day, then troll you on Facebook troll
		

			you on social media, obviously, you guys know where I'm going with this, right? I get this a lot.
And I'm sure a lot of you listening to this, as long as you're on social media, and you're
projecting a sense of pride and honor in your identity. So whether it be that, again, you're you
follow a particular religion, or you belong to a particular minority, you're always going to be a
target, there's always going to be a hater out there that will put you down type the most awful
things about you insult you in the worst way. And let's be honest, here, we're human beings, we have
feelings. So we read some of those statements. I have a tough time believing when somebody says oh,
		

			I don't care what people say about me. And if you really pause for a second, because you're a human
being you have a heart and within your heart, there is feelings there. And feelings can be disrupted
very quickly. And one of the worst ways to disrupt somebody's feelings is through words. So when you
read all of these awful things that people say or tweet about you or post about you, it has to get
to you at some point, it has to like get to a part of you a part of your feelings and your emotions
to the point where it does upset you it might even sat in you as well. And sometimes people can be
so awful, that they will write certain things about you. And it's literally encrypted in your heart
		

			and in your memory forever. And you don't even know who that person is. That's the irony of all of
this, you don't know who that person is, you don't know where they came from, you don't know where
they from nothing about them. And those words, because your name was mentioned, or it was targeted
to you. It's the most hurtful thing. So let me ask you, do you really believe that people like that
the people that do things like this to one another, that they're actually going to get away with it.
And so there's the sense of hope, that our time and our day will come in sha Allah huhtala. And so
that's for the volley moon, think about all of those things. Think about your own stories of pain
		

			and struggle that you've had. I have, you know, I've helped it a lot, although I have them, I have
stories like them, there is a very few Alhamdulillah in my life that I could really say that really
were painful experiences very, very few when they lay in hand. And one of the things that helps me
and I hope that you know, by sharing this, it could help you and encourage you as well give you some
strength to move forward, is I always hold on to the hope that one day Allah subhanho wa Taala will
bring them the people who cause this kind of pain, try to embarrass or hurt me. Allah will
recompense you, Allah will account you on that day. It's called yom where he said that one of the
		

			names of the Day of Judgment, Yeoman, he said the day of accountability, he said, Allah will
literally place in front of you all the things that you said, meaning also including that all the
things that you've typed, because you were in charge of your fingers, you were the ones that were
You're the one that were typing those words. So don't throw that on anybody else. This is your own
doing a local bring all of those things on the day of judgment and LD actions and things that you've
done. Allah subhanho wa Taala will ask why did you type that? Why did you do that? Why did you act
that way? You know, you blamed others for your own actions, but you were responsible for your
		

			actions. Nobody forced you to say or do anything and so at least
		

			For the volume on that first category, at least, although it's it's surrounded and filled with a lot
of pain and struggle and hurt, at the same same time, there's a sense of hope, that sense of relief
in sha Allah, that accountability and justice will prevail Bismillahi tarla. But then there's the
flip side of the Day of Judgment, which is the second category that is a solid one, the righteous,
the day of judgment is also a day where we can finally rejoice and feel happy, and celebrate that
all the things that we have done and strived for. So let's go back to all of those examples. But
look at it in a more positive light. So all the comments that people had typed and posted and said,
		

			whether to your face or to behind your back, they've all said these things about you. On the day of
judgment in shout, Allahu Tyler, you'll be able to say to Allah, you can show Allah and Allah will
be able to see and reward you the fact that you stayed composed, you never responded or gave in to
that hate. You never responded with more hate. You know, there's some people that lie It's like, you
wonder what, what is it that they do in their life, they sit there and they become keyboard
warriors. And they sit there, they type all of these phrases about you, that could be indirect, they
could be rude and condescending, but they'll type these things about you. And you on the other hand,
		

			you have 1,000,001 different responses that you could say you could respond in the worst way they
hurt you, you could actually hurt them 10 times more if you would want it to, but you chose not to.
You chose to preserve your Amen. You chose to preserve your etiquettes your lap, you chose to
preserve your dignity, your respect, Your Honor, you decided that you know what, I'm not going to
respond to that I'm going to be civilized I'm going to be dignified. And that is not what a believer
should do. I should not respond with the same level of hate or something similar to the way that
that person has come to me so you you, you try you do everything that you can you practice self
		

			control. And on the Day of Judgment, you finally see the result, what the rewards and the blessings
were because you kept yourself together because you kept your trust in this for Allah subhanho wa
Taala you know, the prophet Alayhi salat wa sallam did tell us that certain individuals when they
keep themselves together, and they did this with the intention of seeking Allah's blessings and
reward for people like this, they will have the highest honor and status. So for example, you
exercise patience, in times where you had every right to lose your patience, you had every right to
lose all patience, but instead you decided to hold on. You could have been in a terrible marriage,
		

			you could have been treated badly in the worst way in every corner of that relationship. But you
were patient for the for your own sake you made the choice to be patient for yourself or for your
children or for the sake or for the sake of the marriage. The point is you exercise restraint and
you made that choice
		

			excuse me, you made that choice to do that. You didn't do that because you felt that this was the
right thing to do you didn't do that because others were influencing you and encouraging you to be
that way Don't say anything just keep it to yourself. You actually made that personal choice and you
did it for the sake of Allah subhanho wa tada
		

			and so on the Day of Judgment a lot so a job a reward to you finally see when the angels come
together celeb gnarly can be male suborbital Infineon, Morocco, but delta they come flapping their
wings around you and they say, peace be on to you what a beautiful ending, you got some kind of law,
the fact that you're able, that you you exercise patience to that extent, what a beautiful ending.
You got Jenna in sha Allah huhtala. So there is a bright side to the Day of Judgment, especially for
the believer, especially for the one that kept trust, love, appreciation that kept themselves
together. They lived a world where they lived in a world where they kept themselves composed, they
		

			try to be the best that they can be when the racist came and confronted you in your face. You kept
yourself composed you responded but in a civilized and in a dignified way. No I was watching a video
of a representative a politician in the United States.
		

			And she was called and she was swore at by another politician I'm sure a lot of you saw this video.
But Suppan Allah, this woman stood in front of other politicians in the United States and she gave a
speech and she
		

			talked about that experience of the curse words and the insults that came from this other
individual. But she did it in such a dignified way. She was she's incredibly brilliant. But she was
so professional, so composed. And she gave a beautiful, beautiful response, you should really watch
this video if you get your get your hands on it. And I just thought to myself, some kind of love,
like that's what we have to be when you confront hate, but you don't confront hate with more hate,
but you do it with knowledge. You do it with patience, which you do respond, you have some cells,
some sense of honor and dignity for yourself. So you do respond to some extent, but panela like so
		

			profound. When you keep yourself together, it really speaks volumes, it really shows that no one can
break you. And no matter how much hate or insults come to you, nobody can destroy you. And that's
what we want to be. Because at the end of the day, when we leave this world, and that day comes the
Day of Judgment, it will finally be our opportunity to gain those rewards, gain those blessings.
This is what Allah subhanho wa Taala referred to ensuited multifeed at the very end of that sorta

tells us that finally now the believers with respect to those disbelievers that used to make fun of
		

			them, that used to hurt them, that created all this propaganda against you. Finally, now, you will
have the opportunity either out or Rhode Island, or is like when you're sitting on a couch and you
lean back, you finally will have your turn to relax. And, and Allah subhanho wa Taala will exercise
accountability and justice in front of you, you'll finally have your turn. So you know at the end of
the day, and this is what we meant in one of our videos when we said that the dounia meluna. The
Prophet tality subtle sense of the world is curse. This is what we mean this is one of the meanings
behind it is that there's so much in justices that happen in this world, and people will live and
		

			die and never get justice. They'll never get the accountability that they needed or do they deserve.
And so that's why the Day of Judgment. That's why we need it. And I pray that Allah subhanho wa
Taala gives us the strength, the courage, the patience and the knowledge to get through our time,
this world in the best way possible. You'd at the same token, the fact that asylee Whoa, there's
there's going to be celebration, and people will rejoice on the Day of Judgment also tells us that
these are the same two extremes that are that happen in this world. The volume one as well as the
solly hoon also exists in worldly life as well. And so I pray that we are always amongst the salty
		

			home, even in the bad times that we still remain. And we keep ourselves amongst the righteous to the
best of our abilities. This is why we need the Day of Judgment so that we can finally have some
relief and accountability will be done for all those who need and deserve that. So with that being
said, my brothers and sisters, this is really what the Day of Judgment means to me. This is really
how I think about it. When I look at all of these aches and headaches. This is how I start to
interpret what I think this day truly is for me. And this is how you end up at the same time you
might be afraid that this day will come and it's equivalent to 50,000 years and all of the things
		

			the sun will be above your head all of these things. But at the same token, it's like you want to
say Subhana Allah on one hand. And on the other hand you say Alhamdulillah Are you say in sha Allah?
May Allah subhanho wa Taala give us the strength and the courage and the knowledge to live in this
world in a manner that's pleasing to Him. And may Allah so Allah allow that our own accountabilities
is pleasing to Him, that Allah subhana wa Taala brings us forth when we go on trial in front of the
judge, that he makes that accountability process easy and successful for all of us as believers in
sha Allah hooter Allah, Allah home and, and so brothers and sisters hope you appreciate this short
		

			reminder. take it for what it is, and I hope that at least it brings some sense of relief in your
life. That in shout Allahu taala justice will be served may have learned so much Oh bless all of you
