Muhammad West – Ramadhan 2018 – Episode 01

			How's everybody doing? Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Praise be to Allah subhanho wa Taala was brought
us to yet another Ramadan well, hamdulillah Ramadan 2018 and in sha Allah, please take this moment
to later this evening to have that sincere Nia that this will be the best Ramadan of my life.
		

			Because while I it's only 30 days that potentially between you and the highest levels of gender,
think about it like that between me and the agenda to fill those who Allah is these 30 days. And if
I achieve if we achieve the maximum in this month of Ramadan, there is no limit to the rewards, as
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said upon you is a month filled with Baraka every second
that goes by, it's a second of Baraka blessing for your life, for your music for your family, for
your health, for your parents, for your dunya for your Acura that the doors have opened, meaning
that any one who wants to achieve whatever you want, in general, it's the for you, as we sit in

scales are not in order that we need to be on this list, we only have 30 days for this amnesty. And
we have to make the most of it. 30 days between us and the highest levels of gender. And who knows
		

			Subhan Allah, this might be the final little bomb that we have. We don't know if we will see another
one. And all you need is one. All you need is one proper Ramadan, and all your sins can be forgiven
all your scale at three years. If you get later to other religions, the cherry on the top, when you
have a lifetime, 83 years of good deeds on your scale of goodness. And we know Subhan Allah,
whenever the beginning of the month of Ramadan comes, we reflect on those who are not here in the
Jamaat, that we knew were with us last year, those who sat with us at the star table, those that
were in the congregation with us, my father in law, may Allah grant him and all those of the seeds I
		

			place in general.
		

			Maybe it would be a good idea for us to visit the cemetery and ask ourselves what would those people
do and give to trade places with us to have the ceremony? That's what we need to think about. So May
this be the best Ramadan? Make that near sincere because even if we don't get there, this is one of
those Ramadan tips. You make your Nia big, even if you don't achieve it, Allah rewards you according
to that Nia so if you make a big Nia, you know, yeah, license CLE I hope this year I will achieve
something I haven't achieved before. Even if we get 50% of the way it was going to give us that
reward. So maybe that happened. I mean Alhamdulillah the post poly lecture series is about we know
		

			that this month is the month of Quran, what makes the month holy is not fasting. It's actually the
Quran, Allah says the month of Ramadan is the month not a fasting, not of someone says it is the
month of Quran. So we try to link our discussions with the Quran. And therefore we will discuss in
sha Allah The Tafseer of surah calf. And it's one of those chapters of the Quran, which we should
recite regularly and hopefully, at the end of this month, and at the end of the Tafseer who inspire
us to eat it regularly, even to memorize it. I mean, that's our objective. So let me tell you a
little bit about the virtues of the Surah Surah you find in the very smack Sins of the Quran, it's
		

			in the middle of the Quran, it overlaps Jews number 15 and use number 16 you're going to find it

early chapters to be revealed with the Quran. Surah calf is one of them. And it's one of the few
sutras that the Prophet had given many, many virtues of it specifically, so of the virtues of the
surah. We find the story of one of Sahaba even as he was reciting pseudo calf late at night, and
he's who started to freak out. And when he looked up, he saw like little chandeliers of lights
floating around and he you know,

that is Sakina tranquility and that the surah has with it within itself that if you recited with
that kind of sincerity, actually this label of Sakina will be seen and will understand the the link
between the surah Sakina tranquility and the thing that is opposes fitna the surah is a defense
against fitna tribulation we'll get to that in sha Allah, the prophet peace be upon him mentioned
that the surah and one had if it sees it is when you recite it on Friday night mean Thursday night
and Friday the day when it is a light for you that will shine from you up until MCE. The other
		

			narration it says it's a light that shines from you into the next week from one week to the next or
last scenes, you will be covered and guided by a light and if you recited as well it's a light that
will stand a beacon on the day of karma, it will be those who decided regularly on Fridays, they
will be resurrected, covered in this light because of Sudoku gaff. The Prophet peace upon him also

means of prediction. And that leads us into the theme of the surah. The surah
		

			is a very, you know, it's a very unique surah. When we go through it, it's quite intense, and
inshallah we'll try to make it easy. It's structured into little pieces, eight pieces, eight
stories, or eight sections that don't seem to link up. But when you look at it as a whole like a
puzzle, you will see this entire suit as one theme, and that is defense against fitna in times of
difficulty in times of confusion like the times we live in Syria Palestine, all these difficulties
but Allah God ease and, and security for this oma in times of hardship, leading to the greatest
fitna, which is the gel that this is a roadmap of how to protect yourself, how to defend yourself
		

			and your family. So the surah has, as we said, four stories, the story of the people of the cave,
and that's why it's called circle. gaff means the chapter of the cave because it speaks about a
group of people who took refuge in a cave, we'll talk about them in sha Allah. Then there's another
story, the story of the two men and the garden, the story of the gardens. Then we have a third
story, the story of Musa and Heather, which like tastes of knowledge, a trial of knowledge. And the
last story is the story of john Cornyn and the Juju Juju is about power. And in between these
stories, you have what we call hooked up sermons, an introduction, a conclusion and a middle path
		

			which gives us guidance from Allah subhanho wa Taala. So inshallah through this month, we will go
live by but through this very deep and detailed surah we'll discuss these four stories and the four
foot bus and a roadmap to guidance from Allah subhanaw taala protect us and grant us still feek
grant us to have the light in the * of the surah in our hearts, they become part of our daily
