hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen wa
sallahu
wa Should I do a la ilaha illAllah hula hula sharika What should I do now Mohammed Abu Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa ala alihi wa sahbihi wa seldom at the Sleeman kathira, my beloved brothers and sisters, we must always commence by praising Allah, the maker, the one who made us the Creator who created us, the nourisher, the cherisher, the Sustainer that provided the protector the cure, the one in whose hands lies every aspect of existence, and its control Subhan Allah.
We also send blessings and salutations upon the messengers who were sent to us to remove us from darkness and bring us to the light to show us the straight path of worshipping our maker alone. And to show us the path of purity, goodness, high levels of morals and values. We send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, his household, his companions, all those who followed every one of us our offspring. May Allah bless us all and grant us good guidance. I mean, my brothers and sisters, many of you may be in a lockdown. I know there are countries where in the lockdown has become harder and prolonged.
So Allah subhanho wa Taala, and our relationship with Him should never be negatively affected. Yes, people may find it difficult to work, people may find it difficult in some countries to go to school, although in other countries they have a few restrictions lifted for some reasons. People may find it difficult to do anything Subhan Allah, it's not normal. But unfortunately, we will have to go through this again. And maybe again, only Allah knows. Brothers and sisters, the first thing we need to do thank Allah that you're okay, thank Allah that you are surviving, thank Allah that you are breathing, thank Allah, that you have, Mashallah, you have a place where you're staying, and
thank Allah that you can watch this particular video. So panela if you're watching this, then you're privileged. If you're listening to these words, you are extremely privileged, Allah has given you more than a lot of others who wouldn't be able to afford to watch or to listen to this type of a kotoba. My brothers and sisters so therefore Don't forget to thank Allah. When you thank Allah He grants you alleviation
of suffering. When you thank Allah, He grants you increase in goodness, that is the recompense of the gratitude that you show towards Allah. But showing gratitude is not only by tongue and by mouth, showing gratitude is also are mainly primarily by obeying the instructions of Allah and abstaining from prohibitions. And by developing a beautiful relationship with Allah, and by helping those whom Allah has created. So if I'm struggling, and in the process, I help others who are struggling with similar struggles, then Allah will bless me in a way that my struggles become less and perhaps other doors will open where I'm blessed in unique ways. That's a lot.
So my brothers and sisters, while we think Allah, we must also develop a beautiful relationship with Allah, and we must help other human beings and other creatures that the same creator who created us created Mashallah, my brothers and sisters during this lockdown, remember, never to miss a prayer and pray enthusiastically. Sometimes people might be busy watching a movie, they might be busy online, they might be busy chatting with someone, you might be busy at home playing a game or whatever else it may be. You might be in the middle of something, to be able to pause for the sake of Allah, because he has asked you to pray five times a day and to wash yourself and then to stand
in front of Allah facing the Qibla and to declare the greatness of Allah in
Prayer is amazing, amazing.
With this virus spreading the way it is we praying and we're hoping that Allah Almighty will grant us cure and protection. And at least we ask Allah, that he will grant us a healthy life, and he will save us so that we don't have to die, but they are people dying. And it could just be
you and I may Allah subhanho wa Taala protect us and grant us a good death. I mean, but imagine if we were to spend time
and this type of time,
distance from Allah subhanho wa Taala, far away from Allah? Do you really think we would have spent our time wisely? Do you really think we will not regret how we spent our last few days if these were our last few days, may Allah grant us protection. So don't forget your obligation unto Allah. get up in the morning. So not we'll find your Mashallah and fulfill your prayers. It doesn't cost you anything. Unless granted you the facilities, there are people who are praying who don't even have the facilities you have, they walk kilometres in order to get water, they get water that's not even clean, meaning not as clean as ours. But Subhanallah they make will do with that water, because it
has the properties that are required in order to make the will do they wash themselves. And then against all odds with weather conditions, perhaps not in their favor, they would still pray with a smile. And here we are, we've been spoiled. We have taps, we have electricity, we have cover, we have air conditions, we have heaters, we have fans, we have so much more. But still,
because our beds are comfortable, sometimes we become lazy, we haven't slept on time. So sleep on time, get up on time, and pray on time. And thereafter, you may want to recline again, some might decide to join an online class, that's a very good way of starting your day, join an online class,
especially those classes that are dealing with the relationship with Allah, you know, an Islamic class where you're learning the Quran, you're learning some Tafseer, you're learning some Hadith, you're learning some rules of physics, you're learning the Sierra, which is the life of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, you're learning some Islamic history, you're learning some rules and regulations, you're purifying, or you're, you know,
perhaps expanding on your knowledge of Islam first thing in the morning, that's really good. I'd recommend taking a class at Top of the morning online, it's not impossible. The whole world is moving online schools, colleges, universities, government departments, well, you're earning of your gender, by developing your relationship with Allah could also be strengthened online. So Pamela, so first thing in the morning, perhaps start that way, then you might want to join your online classes, the secular education you have, whether you're in primary, secondary, university, tertiary, whatever else it may be, you might want to go to work after that work, meaning you're at home during
lockdown, but you will have to join online in order to work in order to continue working. And so Subhanallah, you started off in a good way with the recitation of the Quran over the class, if you didn't join the zoom, or an online class or online lessons, or you didn't listen to a little recitation early morning, you could do your own recitation with the Quran Subhana Allah, meaning with the most half, you know, and so therefore, my brothers and sisters, don't waste time. I'd also recommend that you get up, you have a shower, and you dress correctly, properly, as though you're going to be going out. So panela that will help you psychologically and it will also fight the
laziness that overtakes us during lockdown. So remember to dress properly, be fresh, you know, you can apply your perfume in whatever you want. You're in the home, but still, you're taking good care of yourself Mashallah tabarrok Allah, you may want to have your breakfast, you you know, it's amazing how Allah makes it easy. Consider fasting on Mondays and Thursdays the reward is great. Consider fasting three days in the month reward is very great martial law. Multiply 10 times the reward is as though you'd fasted the whole month. Consider that, try it some time. See how you feel. And when you do it for the sake of Allah. It's amazing.
Then my brothers and sisters, when you eat, make sure you eat healthy. But now that we're in lockdown, and we're going to be having our meals, what happens to gaining weight, losing weight, etc, it's important to consider that my body was given to me by Allah, and so was yours. For me to look after this body is an act of worship, because it's entrusted to me by Allah. And Allah wants me to protect it from
just being wasted. So therefore, make sure that you have set aside a time every day, be it in the morning in the afternoon, evening or night, to exercise to sweat a little bit. Depending on the size of your house and the facilities you have. If you don't have much you can run on the spot, you can exercise your stretches and perhaps you might want to do a little bit of cardio, and then inshallah the strength exercises.
That's very important. Make sure you look after your body as well, especially during lockdown. People suffer and struggle. Remember,
when you have struck the balance, chances are, you will be a very, very contented person. May Allah grant us that contentment. So we're eating, we're not wasting, and we're not overeating. And at the same time, we have a spiritual side of the day that we're spending every day. And we also have the physical exercise, very importantly, similarly, make sure that you help others, those whom you live with, don't get irritated with them. Don't just dish instructions, get up and do things yourself. Mashallah help clean up, help cook at times, help doing things around the house, and Allah subhanho wa Taala will open your doors, he will grant you so much. The love will increase. Be a person who is
easy going Don't be a person who's difficult my brothers and sisters, Watch your tongue. And make sure you say beautiful words to those whom you live with. Speak to him with utmost respect. You also want to praise Allah, during the day and at night.
So to praise Allah Subhana Allah to Allah is amazing. Remember, that Allah subhanho wa Taala will multiply your reward. When you send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, you're actually increasing your own status, you're increasing your own reward. So do that to Mashallah, if you have elderly parents, take care of them. If you're living with them, offer them help. And make sure that you're there for them. Be responsible. If you have to leave the home for some reason, you come back, be responsible. Wash your hands, make sure that you're
keeping safe. That's very, very important. My brothers and sisters, don't be miserable around the house, the expression on your face needs to be good as well. That too is from the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when you smile, you're earning a reward. These are Hadith. This is taken from the Koran, Allah subhanho wa Taala speaks about how we should be assets to our friends to those around us. And we should have good friends as well. So let's not waste time. Let's not procrastinate, you know, when we waste time, we're actually
becoming from among those who forget Allah.
And when we forget Allah, we gain closeness. Or should I say we get the closeness because it's not actually a gain. closeness to shavon shavon helps us waste time. And therefore, get up and do what needs to be done. Some of some of us during lockdown, we tend to lose track of time. So playing games, without any limits, very unhealthy. Watching movies, spending time on social media, with no limits every day all day. That's very dangerous, be disciplined. Set yourself a time I'm going to be on this for 20 minutes or 30 minutes for an hour, then I'm going to shift to this. And I'm going to shift to that. Just like we would love to have a balanced diet. You need to spend your time also in
a balanced way. Make sure that yes, you have a bit of fun, no problem. You might want to play a game, you might want to watch something beneficial. You might want to look at the news perhaps maybe, but that needs to be restricted to a specific time. And when you have a routine Allah loves it. You know, when you do good deeds and you do them daily, even if their little Allah loves them.
loves it more than overdoing it one day and then not doing it at all for a while. Hey Rahmani Madame la
When the best of deeds are those that are done regularly, even if they're a little, so my brothers and sisters benefit from online lectures
benefit from those who are posting online studies, Islamic Studies, whatever else it may be if it's beneficial benefit from it, choose what you want to do, set yourself subjects, something that you want to complete
and perhaps you might want to do a course or two during the lockdown if it's a month if it's a few weeks, you will achieve a lot during that time. Guess what, you may also be able to do some business online Mashallah you may be able to buy and sell perhaps you may find a bargain or two Mashallah. But spend your time wisely. Don't
lose.
In fact, you need to gain and when I say gain, I'm talking of good things not wait. My brothers and sisters, may Allah subhanho wa Taala bless every one of us. Remember to perhaps
remind others to do the right thing as well so that you would be encouraged yourself to start with to do the right things. So during this lockdown, let's benefit and let's make sure that we have a beautiful day every day. Reach out to others through social media, but keep it limited and make sure that you know what you're doing. Don't lose yourself during this time. And may Allah subhanho wa Taala grant us every goodness, a Hulu kolyada sallallahu wasallam albaraka ala nabina Muhammad wa salam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato.
