Mubeen Kamani – When the time comes close
AI: Summary ©
The importance of Allah as the one who controls life and death is discussed, including the use of Daj Geoff as a booster and the potential for disaster. The speaker emphasizes the importance of avoiding major political unrest and disrespecting materialism, as well as the importance of living in a world full of temptation and privacy. The importance of protecting one's health and community is also emphasized, as well as a free clinic for people with stress issues. The speaker offers support for those affected by the current crisis and a two-month destress program for stress management.
AI: Summary ©
Sorry.
We start up by praising Allah,
the one who is worthy of all of
our praise and our gratitude is Allah,
who controls
our life, who controls life and death is
Allah
who knows when our time will come to
return to.
Is Allah
who guides us, and we ask Allah to
guide us before our time comes.
We then send peace and blessing upon the
prophet
the one that was sent as an example
of how to live our lives
and how to mend our relationship with Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and mend our relationship with
people.
We then send peace and blessing upon the
companions of Rasool Allah Sallahu Alaihi Wasallam and
his family members,
Ahmedabad
thereafter.
One time, a group of companions were sitting
in a gathering
having a small
reminder or a talk.
Nabi salahu alaihi wasallam, he comes in and
he asks them, what are you speaking about?
What is it that you're talking about?
The companions said, you Rasoolallah, we are talking
about the day of judgment,
how the day of judgment will be like.
And, usually, when we talk about this topic,
people are like, woah.
Let's not be a buzzkill.
But 1400 years ago, the companion was sitting
there, and they were
remembering that a time will come
where we will return back to Allah Subhanahu
Wa Ta'ala and we will be resurrected,
and we will have to stand in front
of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, he responds
back to them by saying,
The
day of judgment will not come until you've
seen 10 major signs.
And Rasoolaa salaahu alaihi wa sallam then he
listed out the major signs and in different
narration they say that these signs that he
list out, they were not in sequential order.
Any one of them will happen but Rasool
Allah subhanahu alaihi wa sallam tells us, when
you see the first,
the second, third, 4th, 5th, it will follow
and he gave the example
like a
a necklace
that had beads on it. A that you
have and if the string breaks,
these beads, they flow out 1 by 1
by 1.
And, Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam tells
us that once you see the first major
sign, they're all about to come.
And then, Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, he
goes through these 10 signs
which we know as a major sign. He
says,
Wazakarad
Dukhan.
He mentioned a smoke that will cover the
land
and the scholars debate what the smoke is.
Some scholars, they were actually worried that this
happened right after the time of the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam that there was a
drought in Madin to Manawwara, and people were
so hungry and so thirsty
that they saw their vision was blurry,
but that wasn't
dismal.
But by the end of time, a a
smoke will come which will cover the land
as far as you can see.
With Dajjal,
and the prophet
mentioned the coming of and
many times we see
will not come in our time.
The unique thing is the prophet salallahu alaihi
wa sallam was worried that the jajal was
there at his time.
And Nabi's salallahu alaihi wa sallam says, every
single prophet that came, a 124,000
prophets
that came down, each of them
remo Each of them reminded
their people and warned their people, be careful
of Dajjal coming.
And scholars debate that what is Dajjal?
Is just a figure, a person, or is
actually a system
that takes over society?
Where
the key trick of
is
materialism.
Dajjal will show something, but reality will be
something else. The hadith of the prophet salallahu
alaihi wa sallam that he will walk and
on one side he will have
a * fire with him, and the other
side he will have a paradise with him.
And rasoolaa sallallahu alaihi wa sallam says, but
in reality,
materialism,
what
you might think is reality, that's not reality.
What you might think is true. What you
chase after,
The prophet
spent
so much time tell telling us the small
details.
Then also Allah
says
that in retaliation of the jal, Allah
will send the Islam
back
along with the Mahdi and
together they will defeat the jal and then
there will be a period of time where
Muslims will live, but then solely solely
people will forget their religion, and then the
day of judgement will take place.
Rasoolallah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam says that there will
be these two tribes of Gog and Magog,
Yahu Alaihi
Wasallam,
and they will
spread across the earth
causing chaos.
And 1 hadith
tells the companions,
from
every
a 100 people,
over 90 people will go to jahannam.
From every 100 people. Over 90 of them
will go to jahannam. And the companions got
so scared that, you Rasoolallah,
what are the chances?
You just made the chances very slim
for us to save ourselves.
And Rasool Allahu Sallallahu Wa Salam says, majority
of them will be from.
This is how much they will be in
numbers.
And then the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
says that there will be these 3 huge
earthquakes.
1 in
the east,
1 in the west, and 1 in the
Arabian Peninsula.
And then, Rassalla, sallallahu alaihi wasallam says
that there will be the beast
that will come out and with this beast,
it will have the ring of Sulaiman alaihi
wa sallam and the staff of
Musa alaihi wa sallam.
And the fire in the one, rasool Allah
alaihi wa sallam says,
a fire that will push people to their
graves.
These are the 10 major signs that rasulullah
sallahu alaihi wa sallam tells us.
Now you might be thinking why are we
talking about the major signs today?
And the reason why we talk about the
major sign is that the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam also gave some minor signs.
And if we go through this list of
minor signs,
what we will see is at the time
of Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam most
likely these minor signs made no sense.
Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam probably said it
but the companions heard these minor signs and
like,
How is this supposed to happen?
But yet they believed in the prophet Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam. Why? Because he he was a
Sadiq al Masuk.
He was the most truthful of the truthful
people.
And the prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam, from
the minor signs, he tells us
that the dust of riba,
the dust
of interest
will be
unavoidable.
And this is the world that we live
in today.
You want to live here in America,
you have to, unfortunately, study. Kids are graduating
now, and now they're going
off
and applying to colleges and universities. And the
question comes, can I take a student loan
where there's such high amounts of riba on
there? And Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassaam says, when
the final hour comes close, Riba will be
all over the place.
Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam says, when
the final hour comes close, you will only
say, Assalamu Alaikum to the people that you
know.
If you don't know them,
you mind your own business.
And that's the world that we live in,
that we put in our air pods into
our ear and we glue ourselves
to this 7 inch screen where the person
that I don't know, I don't need to
know you. Why? Because I mind my own
business. This is my circle, my bubble that
I'm within. If I know you, then yes,
I will say salaam to you.
Rasulullah
says when the final hour comes close,
time will lose its barakah.
And he says,
years will seem like months, and months will
seem like weeks, and weeks will seem like
days.
And it feels like just yesterday,
but in reality, it was 10 years ago.
It feels like just yesterday, kids were spinning
that thing, that annoying thing on their hands,
but that was actually 10 years ago.
Time will lose buttercup.
You tell yourself, I will get to this
and I will do this, but then you
realize
it's been months,
and it it hasn't happened.
Rasool Allah
tells us
that when the final hour comes close,
adultery will become common.
It'll be everywhere and we live in a
world today
that if a child is in high school
and middle school and they are to avoid
this,
then in my opinion,
they're almost a wili of Allah
because a wili of Allah is somebody who
avoids sin.
In a world full of temptation and this
child is able to protect themselves, then in
my opinion, this person is wadi of Allah
subhanahu wa'ala. In another hadith, Rasool Allah subhanahu
wa'ala says, when the time comes close, people
will
do immodest things out in the open.
You can't even walk through the aisles of
Costco
without having to cover your children's eyes.
And Rassoula Sallalahu Wa Salaam then says
that a person who will have the iman
of Abu Bakr as Siddiq and Omar Farooq,
he will tell these people, you know, if
you're gonna do this go to the corner,
go behind the bushes where nobody can see
you.
Walk through high school.
Walk through
lunchtime at high school and this hadith,
you will see it
in your face.
It's uncomfortable.
Rasool Allah alaihi wa sallam says,
when the time comes close, children will be
full of rage,
anger,
disrespect,
constantly
mad, raging
over a video game that they lose
an imaginary life.
Now they rage quit and they break the
screen and god knows what happens.
Rasoolallah salallahu alaihi wa sallam says,
when the time comes close, you will treat
a man
with respect.
Why? Because
you fear
what this person will do. It's not that
you actually respect them. Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam says, when the time comes close,
children
will be disrespectful to their parents. And in
the hadith of Jibreel, Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam says, a slave lady will give
birth to her master.
Or the child will say, do this for
me. Do that for me. Or in some
weird way, the child will say to their
parents, you've done nothing for me.
I hate you.
These words
are no longer just on TV.
These words are buried in our community.
Muslim children
deserve
everything that their parents have give given to
them, and they turn around and say,
you haven't given me
anything.
The prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam says,
as the time comes close,
people will be
naked whereas they will actually be wearing clothes.
And you open social media
and you will see this hadith right there,
where people will have clothes on, but it
will be as if they don't have any
clothes
says, when the time comes close,
a person will communicate and will know what's
happening at home by his thigh.
And
we look at today, this device right here,
we put it
right here in our thigh. And you can
imagine this. So how about when they heard
this, they're like, what?
How is it possible that a person knows
what's happening at home from his side? And
today we see this hadith as clear as
could be. And Rasool Allah says, when the
time come close there'll be dishes.
And the word that he uses actually dishes
that will
tell people what's going on.
But the main reason why I bring up
this Hadith,
this topic of the day judgment today,
in one Hadith says,
Says, I swear by the one who controls
my nafs
in his hand.
When the time comes close,
a person will be killed,
and they will have no idea why they're
being killed.
And the person that's killing
will have no idea why I'm killing this
person
from the signs of judgment.
And when the prophet said
this, their companions probably thought, how is this
possible?
How is it that a person will kill
without any reason, without even knowing who they're
killing,
and
the person that's being killed has no reason
why they're being killed.
Welcome
to
2023,
where you can't even go shopping
at a mall
without knowing that you will return back home
that day,
who have no idea why I was killed.
The person killing had no idea why I
killed this person.
Some time back we heard about this very
rarely,
a mass shooting, and we will say, you
know, may Allah protect our children. It's okay.
We're still far away from us.
We're safe here.
But then you've already happened
and we saw, okay. It's not here in
Texas. It's not here in Dallas. It's somewhere
in Texas. It's not here in Dallas. We
all, at that time, we said, it's still
very close to home,
But now,
here in
Dallas,
in a neighboring city
in Allen,
where people lose their life,
who just went shopping,
who had nothing to do with this person.
And as bizarre as you think
what happened in Alan is,
last Thursday,
a 11 year old boy
I have an 11 year old daughter.
And when I heard this,
my heart broke.
11 year old boy
went to 711
with his older brother
to get ice cream.
If you have a child, think, how many
times have your child said, a buck. Can
I go to Andy's
and get some ice cream? Can we go
to Sonic
and get a shake? Can we go to
Whataburger and get some fries? What
whatever it is.
But this 11 year old boy who was
in 8th grade,
whose name was Nabeel Ali,
Muslim kid,
who probably woke up that day thinking it's
just gonna be another day.
He probably woke up that day and said,
Abba,
can I go get some ice cream?
Maybe a drumstick,
maybe a rocket,
a popsicle.
And his abba, probably his dad or his
mother probably got $5 out of their wallet
and said, here you go, Berta,
and gave some to the older son, Talal
Ali.
Muslim.
Same age of my children.
In a community,
not
somewhere crazy,
but in Florida.
In a community just like Frisco, a suburb.
Not in like a rough neighborhood.
Not in a crazy neighborhood in the projects.
But in a suburban
community
where these parents probably move there
thinking that this will be a safe place
to raise
our children on Islam. The same concern that
you and I have.
A turn a 29 year old person walks
into that 711.
Outside this 711, they pull out their gun,
they shoot somebody in their car, they walk
into the 711.
Look at this
11 year old boy, who probably
had his ice cream in his hand
and was waiting to pay his $2 for
that ice cream.
Boom.
His older brother says,
I looked at him and he was dead.
As when I realized what was happening, my
younger brother was on the ground, and his
eyes were open. He was looking at me,
and in that moment, I hoped that he
wasn't
thinking,
Bahia.
Save me. Help me.
This is the world that we live in.
The prophet tells
us,
this is a sign that they did the
judgment.
But now the question comes, what do we
do?
What is our responsibility?
Because this is not the first time we
spoke about this topic on this member. This
is not the first time it's happened,
and it will not be the last.
But our role, number 1,
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says that your time
is coming close.
Your death is coming close,
and you are in a ghafla.
You are unaware of it.
The first thing that you have to do
is mend your relationship with Allah Subhanahu wa
Ta'ala.
There was a time where we could say,
inshallah,
we will become old and we will sit
on the chairs. We will have white hair
in our beard. But now, kids,
the age of 11, kids at age of
5, the kids at the age of 3
are being gunned down
here in America
and suburban America.
And this is more reason for you to
turn to Allah
and fix your relationship with Allah
Why? Because all of the minor signs that
I've mentioned
are all here.
Very few of the minor signs remain.
Now we're just waiting for the major signs
to happen.
And if you don't correct yourself and turn
to Allah
and you keep saying, Sheikh, this topic is
too scary. Don't remind us. Talk about something
fun.
Then I'm sorry.
Reality
will slap us hard in the face.
Number 2,
mend your relationship with people.
With
a 100% trust, I tell you,
Nabi's brother, Nabi's mother, Nabi's father today,
probably in their heart, a 100%, not probably,
a 100% in their heart, wish that they
dealt with him with a little bit more.
His mother probably thinks right now, I wish
I told him I loved him one more
time,
Yet, we sit here and have these
ridiculous grudges.
You said this to me. I don't want
to talk to you. That's it. We're done.
Our relationship is canceled.
In a world like today,
it's important that you mend those relationships because
whose turn it is tomorrow.
And the third thing
is
in a world of darkness
where every few months, not every few months,
pretty much every month,
every week
we hear something like this, it's important that
you become
light.
You become the noor that pulls somebody else
away from it.
There's enough depression. There's enough sorrow. There's enough
anger. There's enough hatred in this right now,
but what this world lacks
is noor.
What this world lacks
is love.
And the 4th, and we'll end off with
this.
Our 4th responsibility
is to take care
and take precautions.
You can't just say, oh, I'm just gonna
do whatever and Allah will
do will take care of,
but first you have to tie your horse
and then
you have. What that tying your horse looks
like,
I don't know.
Because if you can't go shopping
without getting shot,
if you can't go to 7:11 for ice
cream without getting shot, I don't know
what that tiny horse looks like, but
it's our responsibility
to be mature.
It's our responsibility to take whatever precautions
to keep ourself
and our children safe in a world
where there's so much uncertainty.
Rasool Allah,
he warned us of this,
and he told us
this will happen.
And that's what makes our deen, our Islam,
so beautiful.
That our soul, a sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
tells us that there are the major signs
and the minor signs.
And from the minor signs,
it's the world that we live in currently,
where a person is killing but does not
know why.
And a person who is being killed
has no idea why they're being killed.
Oh, Allah,
we ask for your protection.
Oh, Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. We ask
that you protect our loved one. Oh, Allah.
We ask you have mercy upon us. Oh,
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. We ask you to
keep our community safe. Oh, Allah Subhanahu wa
ta'ala. Do not let a tragedy
fall onto our community.
Oh, Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala. Do not take
us
before our time comes. Oh, Allah Subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
Protect our children. Let them grow old. Oh,
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Remove this fear of our children if they're
gonna come home or not.
Oh, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that those people
that have lost loved ones
in this past few weeks, oh, Allah, we
ask that you give them patience, give them
strength, oh, Allah, mend their broken hearts.
Oh, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, we ask that
you remove darkness from our dunya.
Oh, Allah, remove zul. Oh, Allah, we remove
and put it into this senseless killing
that we hear about.
Oh, Allah, we
ask that you
give unity in our community.
Oh, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala we ask that
you bring us together as one that we
stand together and protect one another. Oh, Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala. Wherever there is a Muslim
struggling, oh, Allah we ask that you help
them. Oh, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. We ask
that you do not test us more than
what we can bear. Oh, Allah. We ask
for good in this dunya
and good in the hereafter. Oh, Allah.
We ask that you connect our hearts to
iman. That you connect our hearts to Islam.
Oh, Allah. We ask that you forgive
all of our sins. Oh, Allah, we over
that you overlook all of our mistakes. Oh,
Allah, we ask that you pardon all of
our all of our shortcomings.
Oh, Allah, subhanahu, we ask for jannah and
the action that bring us close to jannah.
Oh, Allah, we ask for protection,
and that you keep us away from actions
that bring us close to Jannah. Oh, Allah,
we ask that you be pleased with us.
Oh, Allah, we ask that you be pleased
with us. Oh, Allah, we ask that you
be pleased with
us.
So I wanna come to her,
There are a few of the wild requests.
Safara Youssef, who is very active in our
community,
doctor Khali Yousef's,
wife.
Her father is critically ill in the ICU.
We and we ask that Allah gives him
a quick everlasting
a complete recovery.
Brother Muhammad Iqbal, who is also critically ill
in the ICU, his son-in-law has asked that
we make du'a for him. He's currently on
the ventilator. Du'a Makfra for Muhammad Anwar,
a a a a woman,
who has passed away. Also, like we mentioned
in the.
Brother Nabi Ali,
88 year old boy I'm sorry. 11 year
old boy
from Florida who passed away last week. We
ask Allah
gives all of the deceased,
forgiveness and makes it great from the garden
of paradise. Allah gives their family members
and patience and can and mends their hearts
and cures their hearts. Allah protects us from
these tragedies.
