00:00:00 --> 00:00:02
			I want to get

00:00:05 --> 00:00:10
			smaller hamdu lillah wa salatu salam ala Rasulillah sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:00:12 --> 00:00:14
			Well, that tonight's

00:00:15 --> 00:00:18
			story, we're going to spend some time with a very

00:00:19 --> 00:00:22
			special Companion of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi

00:00:24 --> 00:00:25
			wa alayhi wa sallam.

00:00:26 --> 00:00:32
			He used to be considered one of the wisest companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:00:35 --> 00:00:36
			He also was

00:00:39 --> 00:00:46
			known for, for his knowledge, he was one of the most knowledgeable companions of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:00:47 --> 00:00:48
			And

00:00:52 --> 00:00:53
			forgive me for

00:00:56 --> 00:00:58
			we're being a little emotional tonight. But

00:01:02 --> 00:01:16
			this companion, may Allah subhana, Allah be pleased with him, and with all of the companions of the
Prophet. So I said, lamb is one of the actually very famous, well known companions of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he's from the Al Saud.

00:01:17 --> 00:01:24
			But, you know, I always said, I said, in Charlottetown, in this series, we're going to try to touch
upon or bring things that are not

00:01:25 --> 00:01:35
			very common, commonly known, you know. So what was very interesting about this companion is that he
was one of the, if not the last,

00:01:36 --> 00:01:38
			from the unsought to accept Islam.

00:01:40 --> 00:01:43
			Right. And he was from the huzzah Raj.

00:01:44 --> 00:01:55
			And what one interesting fact about him is also his actual name, there's a debate amongst scholars
as to what his actual name was, because he's more known by his cornea.

00:01:57 --> 00:01:59
			Right about something.

00:02:00 --> 00:02:14
			So there is a debate about his actual name. Was it armor? Was it or Weimer? Was it way more of an
AMA or was it way more organizational base? Right? Because he was known by his Cooney.

00:02:15 --> 00:02:24
			Anyone knows who it is? No, not yet. He was one of the people that finished the memorization of the
Quran, in the lifetime of the prophets of Allah.

00:02:28 --> 00:02:30
			He was known again for his for his wisdom.

00:02:32 --> 00:02:36
			You know, he was very wise companion

00:02:42 --> 00:02:49
			and that's when Malik said, Mata rasool Allah has met and abuse Allah Allahu alayhi wa salam, O
Allah, mm hmm Quran Allah Irga.

00:02:50 --> 00:03:34
			He said, the message of Allah Azza wa sallam passed away, and for people memorize the Quran in the
lifetime of the process, and, of course, the older man said, and as he's talking about the unsolved
because there were obviously companions from the MaHA Julian, that finished the memorization of the
Quran. And others said no, Anis was speaking about those who, whom he had firsthand knowledge of,
but obviously there were other people that did not necessarily, you know, come out and say, Oh, I
know the whole Quran. Right. But according to Ennis, and this hadith is an advocate it he said for
for people memorize the Quran in the lifetime of the Prophet salallahu Alaihe. Salam, this

00:03:34 --> 00:03:35
			companion,

00:03:36 --> 00:03:40
			right? Well, we're out of blue Jevon was able to salvage what I was eight.

00:03:41 --> 00:03:43
			And another narration, five

00:03:44 --> 00:03:45
			companions,

00:03:46 --> 00:03:52
			this companions name or konia, he was known as a Buddha.

00:03:55 --> 00:03:58
			I will do that I had a very interesting story.

00:04:01 --> 00:04:04
			He had an idol that he worshipped.

00:04:06 --> 00:04:30
			So many people and generally, in addition to the, like main idols that were known that they
worshipped, they also had their own personal ones. And at home, some of them actually had multiple
ones, and in different rooms, or in different households. And if someone had multiple wives, there
was an idol at each one of these households that had his own idol that he worshipped.

00:04:32 --> 00:04:32
			So

00:04:34 --> 00:04:39
			Abdullah of Nova and Mohammed bin Muslimah from his nanny

00:04:40 --> 00:04:54
			decided to to go and destroy it. So they were able to sneak into this place and they destroyed it.
They they broke it. So whenever their dad came home, he found

00:04:55 --> 00:04:59
			his idol broken into pieces. So he was collecting these

00:05:00 --> 00:05:00
			arguments

00:05:01 --> 00:05:19
			and he kept saying we have them tonight what would you Why didn't you defend yourself he's talking
to the to the broker idle as he's trying to put all the pieces together maybe that he constructed or
like put the do some some sort of an emergency

00:05:21 --> 00:05:37
			surgery or something any reeks is constructed so as he was saying this hola difficult enough sick
Why didn't you defend yourself Why did you protect yourself with that his wife she said though Can I
am forgetful and I had in the van FC here whenever

00:05:38 --> 00:05:48
			she said you know what if he had the ability to defend or benefit anyone he would have been able to
defend or benefit himself beside them

00:05:50 --> 00:05:54
			and that basically hit him finally. So he told her

00:05:55 --> 00:05:59
			prepare, prepare something for me so I can take a bath.

00:06:02 --> 00:06:08
			Right so he knew although at that point he wasn't Muslim. He knew that Muslims were people of what

00:06:09 --> 00:06:12
			Bahara cleanliness and all of that and that he needed to take a bath.

00:06:14 --> 00:06:39
			Alright De Lima and photocell factors and whatever is a letter who and he dressed up from other
habit in interview sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and he went to the messenger of allah sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam. Well Abdullah in Ottawa, Endo. When I'm loving Ottawa saw I was coming. He said,
Yeah rasool Allah Allah that was there that one IRA who Elijah effete Albina he said, This is a
Buddha, I think he found out what we did, and he's probably coming to get us

00:06:41 --> 00:06:49
			he was one of the people him and how am I doing myself? Oh, the Allah on whom? The message of Allah
it said that the promises to them said to him in the merger Ellucian

00:06:50 --> 00:06:53
			the process who said no, he came to accept Islam.

00:06:55 --> 00:06:56
			So the province had a new

00:06:58 --> 00:07:00
			interim bui Danny, we are there and you say,

00:07:02 --> 00:07:05
			My Lord has promised me that I would turn it out and accept Islam.

00:07:06 --> 00:07:07
			What does that tell you?

00:07:10 --> 00:07:31
			Yanni Of course, the Messenger of Allah, he's a prophet from Allah. So how did that how did he know?
Allah Subhana Allah told him that I would accept Islam and the promises I was expecting it and was
hoping was looking forward to it. That shows us this the status of who I will tell you that before
he even became a Muslim, Allah subhanho data knew the potential that this man has.

00:07:32 --> 00:07:33
			Right?

00:07:34 --> 00:07:36
			So Allah told him, that I will come and accept Islam.

00:07:38 --> 00:08:18
			And of course, I would doubt God only Allah I know he stood with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam. Historians say that he wasn't able to he was not Muslim at the time of budget. This was
after better, right? But he joined the Messenger of Allah assignment or hurt. And he fought. And
they said that he kept shooting with his, you know, bow and arrow at the kuffaar until he ran out of
arrows. No one was like shooting like him. And then he started taking rocks and throwing at them
just to keep them off from chasing the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam when the prophets of Salem
basically went up the mount of tourists

00:08:20 --> 00:08:26
			and the prophesy tell him that day they said he looked at him and he said Nirmal Faris, we're all
human

00:08:29 --> 00:09:08
			you know, that's why some stories say maybe that was his name other said nope, person his name was
Ahmed in the province of Salem, just call them away marry this in an endearment way of calling
someone Nirmal Ferris or a waiver a waiver is the best night or Warrior by Solomon he saw what he
was doing right that he was fighting with whatever he had right, you run out of arrows you run you
run out of proper equipments, right. You do whatever with whatever you have, make the most of
whatever you have, but some of us sometimes we have to have the perfect setting the best equipments,
everything has to be in like

00:09:10 --> 00:09:15
			in place perfectly in order for us to start with contributing or giving.

00:09:17 --> 00:09:18
			I would have

00:09:19 --> 00:09:23
			said that before Islam, I

00:09:25 --> 00:09:48
			was a merchant. He was he was trade was his business. I was a businessman. And I was doing very
well. After I accepted Islam, I tried to he said I, you know, started to want to worship Allah
subhanho wa taala. And I tried to combine both business and worship. And in dunya and akhira. He
said I couldn't the love of Accra over

00:09:50 --> 00:10:00
			came over took my passion of trade, and I gave it up. And of course obviously no one has to do that.
I would do that.

00:10:00 --> 00:10:04
			took it too, so much so that in a hurry and it's been Malik

00:10:06 --> 00:10:10
			sorry in Al Bukhari, there is a Hadith that I would there there are the Allahu Anhu.

00:10:13 --> 00:10:14
			The prophesy Salim

00:10:17 --> 00:10:21
			paired up with Derrida with another very special companion. Anyone knows who it is

00:10:23 --> 00:10:24
			Sandman, Sandman, who

00:10:26 --> 00:10:28
			so he paired Sandman with that would

00:10:29 --> 00:10:30
			want to try to find you Yes.

00:10:31 --> 00:10:32
			I want to be able to Haifa.

00:10:34 --> 00:10:36
			So I will Jehovah reported this hadith is in

00:10:37 --> 00:10:40
			interview sallallahu alayhi wa sallam have been the Sandman

00:10:41 --> 00:10:55
			was out of San Manuel about Durga Sandman went to visit Abu Dhabi. This was before hijab was made
obligatory, thorough oh my god, whatever the law so he saw that oh my god that was not dressed up.

00:10:56 --> 00:11:04
			He saw that oh my god, that was not what dressed up? I mean, with a bit of delay. Yeah, the I mean,
she was not

00:11:05 --> 00:11:14
			she did not groom herself. She she wasn't dressed up nicely. So so that, you know, Salman said, you
know, what is this?

00:11:19 --> 00:11:22
			Masha Anokye, what's the matter? What's wrong?

00:11:23 --> 00:11:33
			Which is something very interesting. All right. Again, first of all, they were very close. Right?
And then when he saw this, he thought that there was something wrong.

00:11:34 --> 00:11:37
			We see anything wrong in this picture? Let's be honest.

00:11:41 --> 00:11:49
			Wherever there, there must not be around mess. If he's at home, there is no way his wife would be
any dress like this.

00:11:52 --> 00:12:04
			Any this by the way, sometimes we find a hadith in Bukhari and Muslim in the Sunnah. Sometimes we
don't read between the lines, we kind of just, you know, skip over these small nuances.

00:12:05 --> 00:12:10
			But what is this telling us that in their culture, this was not acceptable.

00:12:12 --> 00:12:56
			What Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to come back from any trip, any journey, you know,
any expedition on their way back, they would camp outside Medina, they will not enter the city of
Medina, they will stay right maybe, maybe, you know, half a day distance from Medina. And then, you
know, they will send messages to the people of Medina, that they're coming. And individuals, you
know, who basically survivors who are coming back will inform or alert their family members in the
province and sell them in the Sunnah said that a man should not come back into town without
informing what his wife and his family so that they can prepare themselves

00:12:58 --> 00:13:03
			so that they can prepare themselves should not catching me off guard. Right.

00:13:05 --> 00:13:07
			Now, what happens

00:13:09 --> 00:13:12
			if you if you must just be Can I be honest?

00:13:13 --> 00:13:19
			Now if you go somewhere, okay, now if a man goes home, and he sees his wife dressed up, what is he
going to say?

00:13:20 --> 00:13:21
			Where are you going?

00:13:22 --> 00:13:25
			Are we expecting guests? Who's coming?

00:13:27 --> 00:13:48
			And by the way, same same thing goes for the for the for the man as well. Because I've been Ibis
probably Allah says, you know, one time someone saw him, just, you know, going out of his way, you
know, dressing up grooming himself, you know, putting, you know, he's like, What are you doing? He's
like, like, is there something is there like a special occasion? He's like, No, I'm doing this for
my wife.

00:13:50 --> 00:14:11
			Your wife said it he will lie in the way boy let me let her come aboard wanted to zillionaire Lee,
he said I grow myself beautify myself for my wife, just like I would love for her to do that for me.
I appreciate her doing that for me, I would do the same thing. And then he quoted portion from a
verse in the Quran where the Hoonah Miss Lulu de la enable model

00:14:13 --> 00:14:21
			for the women, right in a marriage, there is a right equal to that which which is demanded or
expected from them.

00:14:22 --> 00:14:27
			So this is his understanding. This is a practical lesson from him to one of his students.

00:14:29 --> 00:14:45
			And he you can't come at home anyway. Shala you had a long day of work and all of that and at least
if you don't take like a shower. This is the brother at least if you don't take a shower. Yeah. And
he as one of our mentors used to say, Hammond Francie.

00:14:47 --> 00:14:55
			Yeah, he used to call it french french french bath. So tell them what is a French bath? He's like he
was some of these French

00:14:57 --> 00:14:59
			colognes or something any dry or do dry clean.

00:15:00 --> 00:15:00
			If

00:15:01 --> 00:15:08
			at least you can change your clothes, you can suggest something fresh Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam used to

00:15:09 --> 00:15:17
			used to, you know, use Slack before before he approached any of his family members.

00:15:18 --> 00:15:41
			What kind of keeps on the love it was. So this was a common thing. Now, I mean, at one time I
remember in a in a lecture, you know, there was a conference or a seminar about marriage, and I
mentioned something and some people told me Oh, you're being so hard on the sisters you're being so
hard on the men and I said Subhanallah because I gave an example I said, you know, sometimes you
come and you're like,

00:15:42 --> 00:15:54
			you know, the person is you know, doesn't seem to be interested in anything like you know, they're
not dressed they're not and then all of a sudden that very tired person if they get a phone call
saying oh, let's hang out tonight

00:15:55 --> 00:15:58
			let's let's go for for for a coffee at Starbucks Starbucks.

00:16:00 --> 00:16:14
			That person all of a sudden now has what energy to mashallah you know stand for half an hour in
front of the mirror, groom themselves look nice put on a nice Yanni mashallah garment, that nice
outfit, you know, nice job and make sure that they coordinate everything.

00:16:16 --> 00:16:18
			This is this is not acceptable.

00:16:19 --> 00:16:25
			And subhanAllah. And when we go now, Salman is teaching us a lesson here. He saw something wrong.

00:16:27 --> 00:16:46
			And I take this seriously, if I see any of my family members, you know, basically violating some of
these adapt, I'll bring this up meaning relatives, you know, siblings, you know, cousins. Oh my god,
if I see this, this is not this is not acceptable. It's not just, you know, between us, depending on
the level of comfort.

00:16:47 --> 00:17:01
			Your husband is here, your wife is here. This person deserves your courtesy. All right. So Salmaan
thought there was something wrong. What's wrong with you? Why are you like this? She said, Well,
your brother I would dare that doesn't care.

00:17:02 --> 00:17:03
			He has

00:17:05 --> 00:17:18
			a bad Sandman says that there is something what? Wrong there is. So. So anyways, that brought
Sandman, Emile, he prepared something, he put it in front of him and he said,

00:17:19 --> 00:17:26
			and then and then said, Man, notice that there there is not eating. So he said, Eat. So he said, Oh,
I'm fasting today. Is that No, you're not.

00:17:28 --> 00:17:28
			You're not fasting.

00:17:30 --> 00:17:50
			Is it? No, no, I am fasting. He said, Well, Lila, I will not eat until you eat. Man, Abby alkylene
had Talquin so he forced him to what to eat. So he ate him from this. Of course, one of the benefits
of this is that if you are if this is a voluntary fast, you can for the safety of your guests, you
can actually break your fast then

00:17:51 --> 00:18:10
			fall Americana phenomena can lead with a habit I would die upon. So Sandman was obviously spending
the night there. So when it was nighttime, that basically prepared something for some man, you know,
to lay down and he's he stood he wanted to pray family. He wanted to pray. So segments told him no,
you need to sleep.

00:18:12 --> 00:18:13
			I want to pray.

00:18:14 --> 00:18:21
			So he slept. Then he woke up in the middle of the night wanted to say a man got up and he said sleep
he wouldn't let him sleep.

00:18:23 --> 00:18:33
			Then he got up when there's one of there was like a small portion of the night left like the last
third of the night he got up so he said, now we can pray and they both prayed. And then Solomon said
to

00:18:35 --> 00:18:42
			the famous statement, right in a little bit chaotic happening. We're in a cigar lake where the
Annika needs to help convert articulate the heart and

00:18:44 --> 00:18:51
			so he said to him, You Lord has a right right. Your body or your soul. Your body has a right your
family has a right.

00:18:53 --> 00:18:55
			So give everyone their due right

00:18:56 --> 00:19:06
			phelim for Atlanta based on Allahu alayhi wa salam. So Georgia went the next day or in the morning
he went to the prophesy salam for the Corolla with Alec so he told him what happened

00:19:07 --> 00:19:15
			for Karla Nabil sallallahu alayhi wa sallam So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said
sadhaka Sandman.

00:19:16 --> 00:19:20
			Sadaqa Selma, Sandman spoke the truth. He was right.

00:19:21 --> 00:19:23
			So this is one of the

00:19:24 --> 00:19:26
			famous stories about

00:19:28 --> 00:19:32
			Radi Allahu wa. I was there that was

00:19:33 --> 00:19:37
			I will conclude with this there is a lot to be said about him at all the Allah one.

00:19:39 --> 00:19:42
			I would doubt that probably Allah who died in year

00:19:45 --> 00:19:49
			32 of the agent of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he said

00:19:51 --> 00:19:53
			and he used to say that

00:19:55 --> 00:19:59
			that I love duniya because it was too

00:20:00 --> 00:20:02
			You know, it was in dunya that you get to pray

00:20:03 --> 00:20:04
			and fast

00:20:06 --> 00:20:07
			and do good deeds.

00:20:08 --> 00:20:19
			So I would have got used to say that I love living. I love dunya and I love living for these things.
This is what he loved about dunya that was a place where you can do good deeds

00:20:22 --> 00:20:26
			last but not least, you know one thing that is how Allah shook

00:20:29 --> 00:20:30
			Subhan Allah

00:20:32 --> 00:20:36
			Omada are the Allah Allah has said that when I was there that while the Allahu Anhu was dying

00:20:38 --> 00:20:41
			he kept saying, me yeah, I'm alone obviously. Oh me Heather.

00:20:43 --> 00:20:46
			Miyamoto limited Lisa T Harvey

00:20:47 --> 00:20:54
			Miyamoto limited MlJ her other female code one Oberliga editor Homosassa home commander mute me over
here at one

00:20:57 --> 00:20:58
			so he kept saying

00:20:59 --> 00:21:03
			who would work for a day like this for a moment like this?

00:21:06 --> 00:21:15
			That a meaning in other words, he's saying work take take advantage of your life so that when this
moment comes, you're ready right all the law on

00:21:18 --> 00:21:20
			it is said today and I'm just gonna share this with you

00:21:21 --> 00:21:27
			as we conclude Subhanak along with him the commissioner La La Land Mr. Farrakhan

00:21:30 --> 00:21:39
			when Omar Al the Allahu and is even more Aria is even with Soufiane the governor of a sham wrote to
Amara the law

00:21:41 --> 00:21:47
			that the people have sharp like Muslims, the Muslim population in sharp is increasing.

00:21:49 --> 00:21:49
			Right.

00:21:50 --> 00:21:58
			And there are many and they're, they're thirsty or they're hungry for knowledge. So send us

00:22:00 --> 00:22:06
			people of knowledge from Medina. I want to summon five. One of them was that without that,

00:22:07 --> 00:22:28
			without that, you know, these companions to go there and tissue because they were of the most
knowledgeable companions out there that was was was was the Mufti was Aldi he was he was the Alim he
was the Muhaddith he was the mockery, because he was one of the one of the Quran

00:22:30 --> 00:22:45
			right? Most of those who learned in many of those who learned you know, Garowe in Sham, the whole
amount of Sham they their chain goes through a good area of the law on Audible

00:22:46 --> 00:22:54
			but what was very to me what was very touching was that almost all the law on when he received the
letter of morality of use even abused Sophia

00:22:55 --> 00:22:59
			he said to his to the companions in Medina

00:23:00 --> 00:23:02
			in a while and Abby Shalvey

00:23:03 --> 00:23:03
			but

00:23:05 --> 00:23:06
			cuttable in a year

00:23:07 --> 00:23:13
			he said that our brothers in Sham wrote to me seeking my help

00:23:15 --> 00:23:16
			with regards to such things as and such

00:23:20 --> 00:23:21
			you see where I'm going with this?

00:23:23 --> 00:23:25
			In that way, I don't have a Chevy

00:23:26 --> 00:23:27
			Cavalier

00:23:29 --> 00:23:31
			and we're in a home because

00:23:37 --> 00:23:44
			it now they're there. They're screaming, yelling and seeking help.

00:23:45 --> 00:23:49
			You know, someone from the home is gonna come and save their lives, but there is no

00:23:52 --> 00:24:01
			when they ask for people to teach them how to solve this as a as a huge task, serious task, that's
how seriously they were. They were taken.

00:24:02 --> 00:24:09
			And now we have oh, man that sham sham was there for the OMA Islam would have not spread to the
east.

00:24:11 --> 00:24:11
			Right?

00:24:12 --> 00:24:15
			Would have not what didn't probably mean a costume camera.

00:24:18 --> 00:24:23
			Who sent for how many more classroom that was the Sahaba and and the rulers of Shem.

00:24:26 --> 00:24:31
			And would have not gone to the west who sent most of nanoscience, Northern Africa all the way.

00:24:35 --> 00:24:45
			So it's, it's what is happening is Sham now just is a reflection of the miserable state of this.

00:24:46 --> 00:24:49
			This is how we have come to as

00:24:52 --> 00:24:52
			well.

00:24:56 --> 00:25:00
			And again, nothing is going to change until we're able to remove all

00:25:00 --> 00:25:01
			All these borders

00:25:02 --> 00:25:11
			that we know, are not there. I mean, when you go there, I mean, you see it on a map. But when you go
there on the ground, you don't see it, it's not there.

00:25:14 --> 00:25:27
			You don't see it. Until we all of these borders are removed, taken out of our hearts until somehow
we're able to get rid of nationalism. I'm telling you, this, Allah is not gonna rise again.

00:25:29 --> 00:25:34
			Until we see no glory, or pride in anything other than Islam.

00:25:35 --> 00:25:56
			Nothing else. I mean, I understand maybe tribal, or ethnic affiliation. That's normal, that's
natural. But nationalism makes no sense to me. Maybe perhaps just because of my upbringing, I was
born in somewhere and my ancestors, I mean, maybe Allah Allah, but I can't relate to it anymore.

00:25:57 --> 00:26:16
			And I don't understand why Allah He was a paid for it as a as a teenager, when I saw growing up,
right. And when I saw what was happening in Somalia, the whole Ummah was like just complicit. And
they were just watching. I was like, do they not realize this is gonna go, and before that would
happen, I fell asleep, that this is not going to stop there.

00:26:17 --> 00:26:33
			And then Allah, Allah, He I remember in the 90s, when I was reading an article about the plight of
the Iraqi refugees in Syria. And I'm like, no, no, no, I could not believe it. And I said, Oh, my
God, this is not a good sign.

00:26:35 --> 00:26:37
			Because things can can change.

00:26:39 --> 00:26:42
			Right? And now it's just spreading like wildfire.

00:26:46 --> 00:26:55
			Oh man, aka momentum Illa, you're gonna be like me. And I think through these kinds of events, Allah
subhanaw taala is gonna make us realize that we're all we all belong to one community.

00:26:57 --> 00:26:59
			And at the end of the day, for the others,

00:27:00 --> 00:27:02
			were, were the same thing. We're all the same.

00:27:04 --> 00:27:04
			We're all the same.

00:27:05 --> 00:27:06
			Right?

00:27:07 --> 00:27:09
			And they haven't forgotten. They didn't forget.

00:27:10 --> 00:27:13
			They didn't forget where these armies came from.

00:27:14 --> 00:27:24
			Right? Every one of these lands, right, where our ancestors came out to to liberate the world and to
spread the light of Islam.

00:27:26 --> 00:27:27
			They didn't forget.

00:27:29 --> 00:27:35
			So ask Allah azza wa jal to to help us overcome our weaknesses and our shortcomings and our trivial

00:27:39 --> 00:27:46
			desires and less and affiliations and we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to

00:27:48 --> 00:28:11
			to alleviate the pain and the suffering of our brothers and sisters everywhere. So Pamela, this
morning, I was someone shared with me, the news that a sister who was very, very active in the
Detroit area, passed away this morning. She's originally from Iraq. And what was interesting is that
her last three posts

00:28:12 --> 00:28:16
			on Facebook, Monday night, last night, and this morning,

00:28:18 --> 00:28:20
			Monday night, she wrote,

00:28:21 --> 00:28:43
			and she was fine. She was healthy. She wrote something about she that she learned something new,
that the deceased a person who's dead will benefit from the DUA, not only of his family members but
the entire ummah. And she said, Oh Allah, I asked you not to deprive me from the dua of my Muslim
brothers and sisters. That was her post.

00:28:44 --> 00:28:55
			Monday night, like around 10 o'clock last night. Her posts was something also some reminder, right?
This morning, her post was promoting

00:28:56 --> 00:28:58
			a drive a fundraiser

00:28:59 --> 00:29:19
			for to help Syrian refugees and orphans, you know, combat this severe cold. That is, right. So there
was a drive and she she participated in it. Three hours after she posted that she had a massive
heart attack and she passed away.

00:29:23 --> 00:29:59
			And then everyone around around her, you know, all these people, all her students, people that she
mentored people said that she, she has she had touched, they were talking about her, you know,
volunteerism and her her activism and her passion, to help orphans and to help to help the needy.
And people were saying things like, Oh, she cared for the orphans. She cared for them as I can Omen
Misaki in Sao Paulo, and then her son posted or sent someone a video as she was coming back from
like, Mom, why are you volunteering and she said, she's talking about how, how much joy

00:30:00 --> 00:30:13
			gives her to make a difference in someone's life. Somehow What a legacy. What a legacy. May Allah
have mercy on her. So make dua for her, as this was her wish Subhan Allah. May Allah subhanaw taala
grant

00:30:14 --> 00:30:33
			sister imagism May Allah grant grant her gender and for a dose may Allah Subhana Allah Allah forgive
her since May Allah subhana wa Tada expand her grave May Allah subhanaw taala provide her with a
light in her grave and on the Day of Judgment. Lahemaa Killa is going to look at us
