Mohammad Elshinawy – Quranic Seerah #14 Flocking to Islam in Waves

			So we left off in our Quranic Syrah with the liberation of Mecca festival Mecca, about which Allah
azza wa jal said in sort of a Nasir
		

			Elijah and also Allah he will forget when the victory of Allah comes and the liberation meaning of

Islam entering into Islam in waves, the conquest of Mecca and its liberation, not just that it
happened, but how it happened caused shockwaves and ripple waves all throughout the Arabian
Peninsula. The whole world now in that area is talking about the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam. Did you hear what happened? The orphan boy from Bengal Hashem. He united tribes that were
warring at each other's necks for 1000s of years. He actually pulled it off. Did you hear the the
		

			illiterate boy the unlettered boy sal Allahu Allahu alayhi wa sallam has produced a book. We have no
idea how he put this book together. We have no idea where he gets these sores from. They're out of
this world. Have you heard them? And these conversations are happening. Do you know what happened on
the conquest of Mecca, he actually walked into the city in the very place where he saw his
companions martyred in front of him in the very place where he saw the people that paid off for his
uncle Hamza to be assassinated in gourd. He looked them all in the eye. And he said, I have forgiven
you all.
		

			Things they couldn't process. How could this be. And so more and more people are flocking to Islam
in waves. But of course, the leadership doesn't like this. And so
		

			there was resistance, there was never a dull moment in our prophets life. sallallahu alayhi
wasallam. It's not like the conquest of Mecca. And then a nice, you know, slow down of events until
he meets his Lord Subhanallah with Isla not like this, because the dunya is not like that. And so,
the two powerful dry tribes of a thought if which are even Hellas in they receive messages from the
Prophet Muhammad, I'm inviting you to Islam, for your sake, for the sake of your people, for your
afterlife, save yourselves respond to God's message. Their response was Arabia, we're going to war
with Mohammed who is with us, they started mobilizing the armies. And so he had to march out
		

			immediately from the conquest of Mecca out to where to the city have a thought if to deter this
group from rebelling against the waves of Islam that people genuinely want to accept now. And
interestingly, that was the only battle of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam his life where he
had the numbers advantage, and it's the battle he didn't win sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the
Muslims were about 12,000 strong. And Allah says in the Quran, this was known as the Battle of her

			and recall the day of her name, when you were impressed with your numbers. You see, the hardest test
people face in life is the test of success, then you get complacent and you get diluted. So for a
moment that happened to them, probably not the senior. So habit, but the newcomers in the faith.
They're looking around like 12,000 No one's ever heard of 12,000 before. And so they were impressed
by their numbers. And so they were caught off guard in an ambush. And where it's not for Allah azza
wa jal is, you know, protection and mercy for that blessed group, they would have been all
massacred. But the Muslims came out of there with grave injuries and many losses, but the Prophet
		

			salAllahu alayhi wasallam and the Muslim collective did survive.
		

			Then he sent messages to the other provinces, and even to the Arabs now that are on the brink of
Arabia, the border between Arabia and the superpowers of the world Roman Persia. And so fearing they
would upset the big guy upset the the Byzantines, the Romans, what did they do with the Prophets
message? They took the message and the messenger and they executed the prophets messenger sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, and you know, this is a declaration of war. And so he quickly had to send out an
army and this was known as the Battle of 3000 Muslims marched out there. And instead of facing that
rebellious Arab tribe that did that, they call for reinforcements. And they found the Romans had
		

			supplied them with 100 or another narration, the total was 200,000 and the Muslims
		

			lost some of the greatest Sahaba that day.
		

			And Allah Azza Allah azza wa jal permitted finally for Khalid bin Walid, the great hero and
commander to rise and regroup them and strategize for them a safe exit, so they're not all
annihilated and they went back to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, who was in Medina.
		

			So that was the conquest of Makkah, the Battle of her name that it went on to the Battle of Mota.
		

			There are events within these accounts that I will share with you quickly as further reinforcement
of the truth of Islam of them. In the ambush that took place in the first battle the Battle of
grenade when they caught them from on top of the hills and they
		

			ambush them. Naturally, everyone ran in separate directions, and the one man with the courage to
draw attention to himself. In the middle of this all was the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he
jumped on top of a camel, and he grabbed He grabbed the flag and put it high that had fallen and
kept yelling out and then be EULA Khatib and Abner Abdulmutallab. I am the Prophet. This is no lie.
I am the son of Abdulmutallab, meaning the grandson of Abdullah Matata, meaning it's actually mean
Mohammed, he's not bragging of ancestry, he's clearly identifying himself. I haven't died. We are
not finished to regroup around here. And so that great valor of his once again shining is of the
		

			proofs of his genuine at sallallahu alayhi wa sallam another, if I were to rush quickly, in the
Battle of matzah. This was a profound event. The Prophet SAW Selim is in Medina, the Muslim army is
over there. In Jordan. That's where it took place in the government of Iraq in Jordan 600 miles
away. The Prophet SAW Selim is in Medina, and he is standing like this in front of the sahaba. And
he is telling them the flag was raised by Zaid
		

			and he has been killed.
		

			And now the flag has been redirected by Jafar, and he has been killed. And the flag has been
redirected by Abdullah had naraba and he has been killed. And the flag has been grabbed by a sword
from the swords of God Huntington, Walid and Allah granted him victory. Victory was granted to them
in the nick of time in the 11th hour at his hands, and as sort of the Allahu and the narrator of

			there's actually another prophecy, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when Kurdish became
Muslim, and the neighboring tribes became Muslim, and they started seeing the superpowers pay
attention to them. You see, they weren't paying attention before what is 10,000? What is 12,000?
It's amazing to Arabia, but over there, these are superpowers now even they're paying attention. So
they got very nervous that you know, sort of Allah, our trade routes, our business goes towards Iraq
or the Persians or goes towards a sham where the Romans are, we're afraid. This is just too risky.
You can't butt heads with a mountain like this. And he said to them, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

			That went down during the Gulf of Oman Empire was over.
		

			That tyrannical regime was put extinct in that time at that ruler. And as for the Romans, the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam spoke about him and that was her at Leo's Huracan. And during
the reign of Huracan, the Roman Empire basically was finished. They lost their most sacred site,
they lost Jerusalem and they began to shrink until they basically collapsed. He called that out

			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
		

			said zayde took the flag and fell and Jaffa took the flag and fell, right? Do you know who those
are? Ze dibny Hadith that is the son of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he was the adopted
son He raised Him UNTIL adoption was re engineered by the genius of Islam to preserve the rights of
the orphans and not erase their ancestry. So it became orphan care, not adoption, but the point is,
it was his son, his son, Sal, Allahu Allah is Allah. And then Jafar was who Ibn Abu Talib was his
cousin.
		

			Jaffa Radi Allahu Allah is his cousin. So he was grieving such a great deal. But if you read about
the Battle of Moto, and what happened when the armies came back, you see him on the first day, when
the news reports were official or whatnot. He says to them, Go prepare food for the family of Jaffa
fucka, who managed to whom there has come to them, what has preoccupied them, they're not in a state
to take care of themselves, go take care of them, cook food for them take care of that family. And
then three days later, he goes and tells them that's enough crying.
		

			Meaning put your trust in Allah let's we're not going to be able to move past it. But let's move
with it. As they say in the grief. He's grieving to salAllahu alayhi wasallam. Right. And he said to
them, he used to say to the children of Jaffa, oh, yeah, but not by ya. Or some of the Sahaba you
say, yeah, binotto yada, Oh, son of the flyer. And the reason why they used to call Jafar the flyer
is because he used to console them Salallahu Alaihe Salam and say, Java, those two arms, he lost
that motor, he grabbed the flag, and the rider comes by and removes his arm. So he grabs it with the
other arm and a rider comes by and removes his arm. And then he grabs it between the two stubs that
		

			are left, may Allah be pleased with him, may Allah be pleased with him. And please, with all the
Companions, he grabs it with whatever is left, until someone comes and strikes him from above, and
he falls, he says to him, Don't grieve, I saw him, Allah has replaced his two arms with two wings,
to fly wherever he wants in Jannah.
		

			He would console them, but at a moment when He's grieving, and when I want to sort of just, you
know, pull from that for all of us. In our time, when our heads are so down about soothing ourselves
all the time, comforting ourselves all the time, obsessed with our happiness, we are actually less
soothed and less peaceful and less secure and less able than ever. But he taught us Allah who is and
what it means to be human. What it really means to be human, to seek strength from Allah and extend
your care to others, even when you're in pain, and you will be taken care of by Allah azza wa jal.
Yes, there's a balance between self care and extending yourself. But we don't know anything about
		

			that balance. We just say that to distract from the conversation. We have too much. Suppose it's
self care, our heads are down in a very overly individualistic way, and it makes you hard hearted
and miserable. And that's why he said and I'll close with this sallallahu alayhi wa sallam either or
